The internet, for some weeks now have had rumors of a relationship between Wizkid and Tiwa Savage and it reached a climax after the AfroRepublik Indoor Festival.
The sold out event at the O2 Arena in London had some of Nigeria’s and England’s biggest stars performing, including Mr. Eazi, Skepta, Tekno, Maleek Berry and much more.
The night belonged to Wizkid however, and mid way through his set, he brought out Tiwa, describing her as “someone special.”

Last year, during World Autism Day on the 2nd April, Temi Otedola shared a personal story on her JTO Fashion blog about living with autism with her younger brother, Fewa.
She started off by saying “Autism Awareness day was launched 9 years ago to raise awareness and conversation about the people living with autism around the globe. with this in mind, I have decided to share my own personal experience with autism.”
Talking about how her parents told them about her brother, she says:
In 2004, my mum called my sisters and me into her bedroom. With the composure only a mother can have, she told us that our baby brother, Fewa, had ‘special needs’. While my sisters asked questions, all I could do was think about what this would mean for me, the already overindulged, youngest of three girls. Thankfully, my selfishness quickly wore off and Fewa quickly became the centre of our family. The role of an older sister always entails some sort of responsibility. However, the role of an older sister to an autistic sibling is a great deal more work. At first, it seemed like every day with him was a challenge, especially for my mother. I remember seeing my mum helping Fewa with simple tasks like brushing his teeth, helping him to get dressed, or feeding him lunch, with each day ultimately ending in exhaustion. Our family has been so blessed to have help from carers, but no one can deny the resilience my mother has had raising Fewa. It is the thing I most respect about her.
On her brother, she says:
Every day, I see him becoming more independent. Our relationship is becoming less one-sided; I can truly say that we are friends. Fewa doesn’t need anyone’s sympathy. He is the most genuine and caring person I know. This is probably why I have never seen Fewa’s autism as necessarily and totally negative, it is a unique characteristic that adds to the complexity of the person that he is
I am not naïve or unrealistic. I certainly have some gnawing worries about the future. Fewa will always need support of some kind. At age sixteen he still requires 24 hour help. I would say that the biggest misconception about autism is that people who have it are socially inept geniuses – Rainman, anyone? Yes, that is true for some autistic people, but there is a reason the official term is “autism spectrum disorder”. It is a spectrum, and it can range from children who are not able to speak at all to children who can go to normal schools.
On coping with Fewa’s autism, she says:
No matter what I do, I need to build my life with Fewa in mind. My parents won’t be around forever, and his care and well-being will become the responsibility of me and my sisters. It is true that consideration for Fewa will always affect the decisions I make in my life. Despite this, Fewa is by no means a burden. These worries do not reduce the immense love I have for my brother who has brought so much joy and shown me the purest form of love. To quote The Bard, “Love sought is good, but given unsought is better.” It is Fewa’s unconditional love that has shaped me into the woman I am today – a sister, a teacher, a carer and a best friend.

Just a day after her grand wedding to her hearthrob, footballer, Emenike, Iheoma is calling out her wedding planner over the un-professionalism she exhibited while handling her “big day.”
According to Iheoma, the wedding planner, Nike Balogun popularly known as Diamonk Ink Events, was extremely rude, arrogant, unprofessional and incorrigible throughout the planning process.

A quite furious Delta pastor who would not compromise his distaste for alcohol has reacted angrily at a church members’ wedding reception.
The unusual incident was witnessed at a wedding this past weekend in Delta state after the pastor who conducted the wedding was disappointed by the couple.
According to journalist, Sapele Oghenek, the pastor became angry after seeing the assorted alcoholic drinks the couple brought for their wedding reception against their church principles and beliefs.
The pastor reportedly gave the couple some time to remove all the drinks at the wedding event – when the time had elapsed and the drinks had not yet been removed, the pastor ordered all the church members to leave the reception.
The pastor and his members were on their way going before the couple begged them and finally removed all the drinks, that was when the pastor came back to the reception.
As the Nigerian Police force relentlessly continues to clamp down suspected internet fraudsters, a team of officers have carried out arrests in Benin city.
A video that’s emerged online shows the moment the officers arrested some suspected internet fraudsters, otherwise known as ‘Yahoo boys’ in Benin, Edo State.
The suspects are seen being bundled into Police vehicles even as they resist arrest, prompting the officers to assault and use force on them.

According to the report which made rounds online, the former fraudster also exposed methods in which various scams and money rituals are carried out in Nigeria.

Outspoken Turki Al-Sheikh claims that a shoulder problem picked up in the Champions League final will dash the international dreams of the Egypt star.
Mohamed Salah will be sidelined for two months by the shoulder injury he sustained during Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid and miss Egypt’s World Cup campaign, according to Saudi Arabian sports administrator Turki Al-Sheikh.
Salah was substituted after 30 minutes of Saturday’s showpiece encounter in Kiev, having grappled with Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and landed heavily on the turf.
Gareth Bale came off the bench to steal the headlines with a game-changing overhead kick after Sadio Mane cancelled out Karim Benzema’s opener – Reds goalkeeper Loris Karius culpable for the latter as he was Bale’s second seven minutes from time in a 3-1 Madrid victory.

“With great sadness, sadly our great Arab star Mohamed Salah was confirmed in his absence [of] two months to injury, which means that he will miss the World Cup,” he said. “We wish him a speedy recovery.
“I think that Liverpool will not allow Salah to take the cortisone because it is dangerous for the player in the long term and will press hard to complete the treatment for two months, which unfortunately means that we will not see the star Mohamed Salah in the World Cup.”
Saudi Arabia have also been drawn in Egypt’s World Cup group alongside hosts Russia and Al-Sheikh caused controversy in March when, after Salah scored in a friendly versus Portugal, he tweeted to suggest it would be beneficial for the Liverpool favourite to miss the round-robin match against the Gulf state.

Former Nigeria defender, Taribo West, has said the Super Eagles don’t have what it takes to stop Lionel Messi, when they take on Argentina in their third Group D match of the 2018 World Cup on June 26.
West said Gernot Rohr’s defenders need special tactics, to be able to stop the Barcelona superstar.
“We have good defenders, but from what I have seen, they don’t have what it takes to stop Messi at the World Cup. Stopping Messi requires special tactics which they don’t have.
“We don’t have the kind of defenders that can mark out Messi for 90 minutes and that will make it difficult for the Super Eagles.
“My advice is that they should not concentrate too much on him. During my playing days, you need just one player that will mark him out and throughout 90 minutes, there won’t be breathing space for him,” West told CompleteSports.

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, is now left with 29 players from which to select his team for the 2018 World Cup, after Moses Simon was ruled out of the tournament as a result of an injury.

The singer recently made the above post on his Social Media pages, announcing his name change during the past week.
Shortly after Daniel made the post, it was reported that with the move, the singer was now free of all obligations to his former label, G-Worldwide Entertainment.
However, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, Daniel’s former manager, Louiza Williams, stated that the singer’s recent action had no effect on the court case.
“I actually did not know that he had changed his name until you told me. However, there is no big deal about that; it has nothing to do with the case,” said the musician’s ex-manager.
“The next court date is June 26. It is not true that the case has been settled; so, I don’t know where all those reports came from. If there was anything like that, I would be aware of it. Though Kizz Daniel doesn’t come to court personally, his lawyers appear on his behalf and I am sure they pass relevant information across to him accordingly. The court ruled that both parties should maintain the status quo, but Kizz Daniel is doing what is best known to him, which is contrary to what the court ordered.”
On what move G-Worldwide is considering, Williams said, “The company definitely has a plan but I cannot reveal anything for now.”

True to his words, barely seven months later, Wizkid announced his concert and it was sold out days before the event.
