A singlet anointed by RCCG’s Pastor Adeboye has resurrected a lady who has been dead for 12 days in Bayelsa State.
This was disclosed by a testifier at the church’s Holy Ghost Service held last night at the Redemption camp, located along the Lagos/Ibadan express road.
According to him, his sister had died while he was away and upon his return 12 days later, he placed a singlet carrying the anointing of Pastor E.A Adeboye and boom, she resurrected.

In this interview, Ajao opens up on her career, relationship, and the reason people think she is dating handsome actor, Odunlade Adekola.

Tell me about your background
Eniola Ajao is from Epe in Lagos State. My twin sister and I are the last born of the family of six. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon but we are not poor.
So, how are your parents taking your stardom?
They are very proud of me. They know I can never drag their names in the mud. They know what I can do and what I can’t do.
You look so beautiful, what’s the secret of your beauty?
Nothing too serious, it’s just my normal daily beauty routine.
Like what?
I take my bath morning and night. I won’t like to mention any product here but I use the normal (beauty) products you can get in the market.
When did you come into movies?
I joined the movie industry in 2004, but I had to stop for a while after securing admission into University of Lagos to study Accounting. After my graduation I came back fully.
Can you remember the first movie you featured in and the year?
Yes, that was in 2006 and the title of the movie is ‘Igba Aimo’ written and produced by Adesanya Adesina. That was before I joined my boss, Odunlade Adekola.
Your first movie that I watched was Eniola and it’s very interesting. Is it your own movie and is it also a true-life story?
Yes, it’s my own movie, my production but not written by me. Eniola is a true-life story but we just added some little fiction to it.
Is that the only movie you have produced?
No, I am the producer of Daramola and Erin Oni but Eniola is the last one for now. I am someone who takes my time to do things, so don’t worry, another blockbuster would soon come to rule your screen.
How have you been coping working with Odunlade Adekola?
I do call him a genius. He is a total package in this industry. He can sing; he’s a fantastic actor, a great director and producer. Just name it; my boss is a great man. Working with him has really made me to be who I am today, though the best in me is yet to come. I bless God for where I am today in the industry, through him.
Who else do you look up to in the industry aside Odunlade?
Hmmm… there’s this special feeling I have when watching Genevieve Nnaji. She is one amazing person I admire.
Have you met her one on one?
No, not yet, but I look forward to that.
Can you also act in English movies?
Yes, very well. It’s one and the same industry. So, why not?
What is that thing or role you can’t act in movies?
As I earlier said that the best is yet to come, I look forward to more challenging roles.
HipTV boss and organizer of Headies awards, Ayo Animashaun, said in an interview with The Tribune that Nigerians cannot win the Grammys.
“I really don’t understand why Nigerians want to win the Grammys. Grammys are not for us, but for Americans. We should get that right. They put everybody in one world music category. We are not their focus. It is not for us.
Yes, we can win awards but they do not show us the way they run the award category during the show. I think we should make our own awards, our own Grammy and I would say it any day that the Grammy is not for us. They have built something big for themselves. Let them come and win awards in Nigeria or Africa.
We don’t celebrate our own things. It’s just a shame. I have been to the Grammys many times and I don’t see many African artistes. They don’t particularly care because they recognise, mainly, their industry. They don’t know you exist.
You go there taking pictures with them and when you are taking pictures with them, the guy is already looking somewhere else. See all the artistes that paid for international collaboration. What happened? They collect your money and they don’t want to come back.
They don’t want to collaborate with you. And you know what? You will make so much money here if you really work hard and you will be known in the whole of Africa. Build your own. If I tell a sponsor now that we should take five artistes to the Grammy awards, they would be ready to do that but when it comes to Headies, we will be begging for sponsorship.
Grammy is not our thing. Let’s do our thing. Let’s make it big and fantastatic. Why do you want to win Grammy. There is no World Cup for music.” he said
The Headies is in its twelfth year. Tell us about the challenges faced starting up a project of such magnitude.
The Headies is in its thirteenth year but twelfth awards, but it has been consistent because we have covered all the years in review. The number one problem is sponsorship.
We started with huge sponsorship but then, it wasn’t even big at that point. We started very big because I doubt if anybody got the kind of budget like ours. Yes, we are privileged to get sponsorships most of the time.
However, everything went the other way round in the country, especially when the economic recession set in, to the extent that the big brand that was behind the Headies at that time stopped sponsoring totally and there was nothing we could do.
But we needed to keep going on and, till date, we have been pretty much consistent. So, it has been very difficult funding-wise. Out of the 11 awards we have had, we probably got sponsorship for six and the cost of the remaining five was borne by the company which was very heavy on us because we knew what to do and how to do it.
Kenny Ogungbe, owner of Kennis Music, needs no introduction in the Nigerian entertainment scene as he has influenced a lot of artistes over the years.
Despite the fact that a lot of Nigerian heavyweight musicians have passed through his record label, the Kennis FM boss told Saturday Beats that Tuface and Eedris Abdulkareem remain his best artistes of all times and gave reasons.
Fondly referred to as Baba Keke, he further described the acts as his best friends.
“My greatest artistes of all time would be Tuface and Eedris Abdulkareem. As for Tuface, I call him my best artiste of all time because he sold the name Kennis Music and the highest number of records.
“I like Eedris Abdulkareem simply because he is straightforward and honest. Eedris is a very loyal person that would stay with you forever,” Baba Keke said.
The music executive revealed how Eedris Abdulkareem left his record label.
“Eedris never left my record label controversially. The contract I signed with them was for sales and management fee but it was only Tuface that was giving us management fees, I did that for quite a while till I held a meeting with my people.
“The artistes were upset which is a normal reaction because if I were in their shoes, I would be upset as well but everything was eventually settled. Eedris came to me and said that he had a song, I listened to it and that is how we started working together again.
“Like I said, Tuface, Eedris Abdulkareem are my two greatest friends,” he said.
Speaking on how he met both artistes, Baba Keke said that after Tuface left Plantashun Boiz, he came to meet him.
“Tuface came to me, I did not go to him. He came to me and said Baba, let’s work. The first time we met was while he was still with Plantashun Boiz; it was Tony Tetuila that introduced him to me.
“I was thinking of signing Plantashun Boiz but they were with Nelson Brown, so I did not push.
“After their group split, Tuface came to meet me that we should work together and I agreed. I did not need any confirmation that he is a great guy. He is humble, gentle and very talented.
“I signed Eedris and the Remedies because their music was unique. No one was doing the kind of music that they did.
“It was very genuine, youthful and energetic. It was equally attractive. I did not know them before I signed them but the first time I heard their song, I aired it on the radio.
“At that particular time, Dr. Raymond Dokpesi had instructed us to search for Nigerian artistes and there was nobody till I met them.
“Their song, ‘Sha ko mo,’ was recorded by the Ray Power producer who later became their official music producer.
“They had initially recorded the song at Alagbado but it was not clear enough, so we had to re-make it at the Ray Power studio,” he said.
He further stated the reason why he could not stop the separation of The Remedies despite the fact that they were under his record label.
“If a group is together and they want to go their separate ways, if you try to stop them, you are wasting your time because they are the ones that know what they are going through.
They are the ones wearing the shoe and they are the only ones that know where it hurts,” Baba Keke said.

I feel very great, who wouldn’t feel great? I won N45m; the cash prize being N25m cash and I have a car. So it’s actually a great privilege. To be honest with you, I didn’t see this coming because as you all know while in the house we had no idea of what was happening outside and that’s why whenever I was up for eviction, I was always tensed up because you never could tell what would happen next. The last day, I was given a pilot captain outfit and I was astonished and began to feel perhaps there was something for me. I already won N1m in the Payporte Game.
So I felt okay, if you won Payporte, there was no how you were going to win this prize. And then with the outfit, I felt this was like a sorry outfit like if you didn’t win, at least you had the outfit.
At the end of the day, it was remaining just I and Cee-C in the house and I knew in all evictions, Cee-C always comes up all the time and she keeps coming back.
So it is only natural to feel she’s ‘strong oh’ and anything can happen, but then again, they called my name! I was surprised and if you noticed, I fell on the floor because I didn’t see that coming.
At that point the only thing I had on my head was the N25m, I knew nothing about these other prizes. It was the next day, Nina told me I actually won a car and when I got back to Nigeria, they told me I also won a home theatre System. I’m still trying to come to terms with all these.

Since I came back, I chose not to go into social media for the while because I’ve heard of the negativity and positivity so I don’t want to see things that will weigh me down. The first time I heard about Collins was in the house and Nina was truthful about her boyfriend. She told me that before she came into the house, she had a discussion with him and she made him understand that she’s going to Big Brother House and so he should expect anything.
So now, we are out and people are saying a lot of things about that. I don’t really get jealous like that. It’s her decision. Something I would never do is fight for a lady. It’s her choice. You know my intentions towards Nina so it is her decision to make. The only time I will fight for a woman is if someone is imposing himself on the lady and she makes her choice that I am the one. But on a neutral ground, you know my decisions towards you. So, it’s your decision to make.
The Nigerian police today declared four of the gangsters who participated in the bloody bank robbery incidents in Offa on 4 April wanted.
They also released their photographs, while in action. The images provided were the clearest, since the incident exactly a month ago.
The police said the Kwara State Government has also promised a N5 million bounty for information about the suspects, and they listed the hotlines to be contacted as 08062080913, 08126285268, 08032365122, 07056792065, 08088450152.
It was the latest update provided by the police following the arrest of 20 principal suspects earlier and the recovery of two Beretta Pistols, bullets, phones and SIM cards of some of the victims.
“All the suspects are cooperating with the Police in the investigation into the incident. Currently, some of the other gang leaders and principal suspects at large are being identified and their pictures obtained for further investigation”, Assistant Commissioner of police, Moshood Jimoh said.
Police asked for public help to apprehend the gangsters still at large and said they have also been placed on INTERPOL Watchlist and Red Alert.
“Other sister security and safety agencies are equally implored to arrest them and hand over to the nearest Police Station or Formation across the country or avail the Police with any information they may have or come across about these suspects,” Moshood said.
13 young girls suspected to be victims of human trafficking were rescued by operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) today in a guest house in Gwagwalada area of FCT, Amazonia Guest House.
A suspect, Afeez Abdulsalam, who has been on the Agency’s watch list for procuring young girls for onward travel to Saudi Arabia where they are faced with various forms of exploitation, was also arrested.
Backed by a court order, a search was conducted and the premises sealed off until investigation is completed.

The couple who are rumoured to be dating, stepped out today in matching outfits for a visit to Vice President’s daughter Kiki Osinbajo’s office in Abuja.
A pastor has told women that it is an abomination for them to call their husbands by his name or a pet name.
Pastor Chris Ojigbani, who calls himself a marriage and relationship expert, said a man is a woman’s Lord and as such, she should never call him by his name or by a pet name. He said names such as “sweetheart, darling, even baby” should never be uttered by women in relation to their husbands. He was especially opposed to the use of “baby” and said it belittles a man. Lol. What an archaic man!
Pastor Ojigbani advised the female members of his congregation to refer to their husbands as “My King” and “My Lord”. The use of ordinary names and pet names, he said, are as a result of wrong teachings.
As he preached, the female members of his congregation were seen nodding their head in agreement. After the video was shared online, a lot of people expressed support for his teaching but some pointed out that he calls Jesus by name though he is his Lord.
The pastor has now replied to those opposing his teaching.
He wrote:
It’s amazing how many wives and unmarried women refused to accept the simple teaching in the video above where I taught wives how to become queen in their marriage.
In the video, I simply asked wives to make their husbands king if they want to become queen. And to do that, I explained you must respect him by calling him King or lord and by serving him food like a king. But it’s so unfortunate that some of the women are arguing the teaching and insulting me as well.
After much consideration, I decided to ignore the insults and help you with further explanations. And I will like to start by asking a question. Is there anything wrong in asking a wife to respect her husband? Any woman who doesn’t respect the husband is actually disobeying the word of God, which says that wives should respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:22). It’s also interesting to note that any disobedience of the Word of God is a sin. If your husband doesn’t treat you well, he has committed a sin and will have a question to answer before God on the judgement day.
So, if you disrespect your husband because he doesn’t treat you well, you will also have a question to answer on the judgement day. It’s also important you note that you should respect your husband unconditionally. You don ‘t respect your husband because he treats you well. In Christianity, respect is not reciprocal. In the world, respect is reciprocal but in Christianity, respect is sacrificial.
I also noticed that many wives commented they would never call their husbands lord. But the Bible tells us that Sarah called Abraham lord (1Peter 3:6). If Sarah called her husband lord, what makes you feel you are too big to call your husband lord? Apart from the fact that Sarah called Abraham lord, is there any other scripture that says the husband is the lord of his wife? Yes, Ephesians 5:22 says that you should respect your husband as lord. Verse 23 of the same chapter also says that your husband is your head just as Christ is the head of the church.
So, my teaching is scriptural! And I didn’t write the Bible. The teaching is very clear and simple. Apart from the fact that the teaching in the video is scriptural, what wrong have I done to ask you to respect your husband? I didn’t ask you to respect me, but to respect your husband. Some of you respect pastors so much but have no respect for your husband. Some of you don’t call your pastors by their names but call your husband by his name. One lady even commented that she must call her husband by his name because she calls Jesus by His name.
Kindly check the scripture and you will find out that no disciple of Christ called Him Jesus Christ. Some may have referred to Him as Jesus when talking about Him to people, but when talking to Him directly, they called Him Master, Rabbi, Son of David, etc.
The previous week, I published a video, where I rebuked only husbands and many women applauded the teaching. But because the teaching in this video advises wives, the same women are angry. One of the women even commented that my teaching is an African teaching. Please note that there is nothing African about the teaching.
The teaching is directly based on scripture, and the scriptural references are Ephesians 5:22-25 and 1Peter 3:1-6. It will interest you to note that the teaching that supports equality of husband and wife is based on western culture. The Bible does not support equality of a husband and wife. It, however, supports equality of a man and woman, but not a husband and wife. It’s different in marriage. A woman may be the head of a big organisation but her husband is still her head.
The Bible clearly says that the husband is the head (Ephesians 5:23). You can’t be equal with your head. There is no scripture that supports equality of husband and wife. Rather western culture supports it. Unfortunately, there is a mixup of western culture and scriptural doctrines. Many people practise western cultures, thinking they are practising scriptural doctrines.
Having said this, I want you to know that I don’t support the maltreatment of wives. God forbid! The teaching in the video was just to help wives become queen in their marriages. If you listen to the full message, you will see how I rebuked husbands. I actually rebuke husbands more because wives are weaker vessels. But I want you to know there is no other way of becoming a queen in your marriage apart from making your husband the king.
For you to become a queen, your husband must first become the king. The message has been tested and proven. It works! From the comments I read, it’s obvious that some of the ladies are bitter against their husbands. And I will like to beg you to take it easy with husband. He may be maltreating you, but you are also not treating him well. If you give him his due respect, you will be happy. The problem is usually who will become nice first.
I know that some people wrongly teach you that you are equal with your husband. They are deceiving you. Such teaching makes so much sense but cannot be found in the Bible. Apart from the fact that the Bible says wives should respect their husbands, it’s clearly better to respect than to disrespect a person. Do not see me as your opponent. God called me to help Christians, irrespective of one’s church or denomination. That explains why I don’t pastor a church. W
Ives, I beg you to be respectful to your husbands. Be submissive to your husband as the Bible teaches us. You can’t be disrespectful to your husband and still pray to God. Any wife who disrespects the husband has no relationship with God. A man, on the other hand, who maltreats the wife has no relationship with God.
My teaching may be hard but it’s the truth. We live in a time that people have itchy ears but I teach only what you should know. I don’t teach what you want to hear but what you should hear. If your husband has annoyed you so much, please forgive him and have a fresh start with him. Put into practice my teaching, and your husband will make you his queen. You can’t be happy in the marriage if your husband is not happy. Make him happy and become the happiest wife on earth. When I teach husbands, I rebuke them as well. But now, I am speaking to wives.
Respecting your husband does not mean you are a slave. Rather, it cements your relationship better. I also want you to know that you cannot modernise marriage.
Marriage is an old-fashioned institution and must be practised in an old-fashioned way. Any attempt to modernise it will destroy it. Jesus Christ said that if you put a new wine into an old wineskin, it will bust.
The marriage system has “busted” because we are attempting to practise it with new marriage doctrines. We must go back to the scripture and practise only scriptural doctrines if we want to restore our marriage system. I would have explained further to you but I feel that I have already said enough.

Grace, Grace!! She has no regrets about being born with albinism and urged others like her not to fall into despair, but feels sad that society has not understood that God does not do colour!! Underneath it all, our blood is none other than red!! God, does not do colour!!”
Identified as Olivia Malachy, she lost her arm to an accident which caused it to deteriorate for awhile thereby leading to its amputation.

In a public hearing of her testimony, she said she wouldn’t like to be regarded as a disabled person despite having one arm. She also gave a sneak-peek of the agony she passed through when she had an accident that damaged her arm.
“The maggots coming out of my injured arm were enough to fill a cup of rice” she told a large audience.
The co-founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Gloria Bamiloye, has given her opinion on one of the most controversial topics in Christendom – The issue on whether Christian women should wear trousers or not.
According to the Evangelist Gloria Bamiloye who is also the wife of Mike Bamiloye ; wearing of trousers cannot actually be considered wrong, but as a believer, it might not be portraying the woman in the right way to unbelievers.
Gloria Bamiloye writes:
Answer: Deuteronomy 22:5 KJVS [5] The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
The scripture does not specify the clothes for the man and the one for the woman from this verse. And so it depends on what each country, nations, Tribe accepts as the cloth for the man or for woman For example in our country Nigeria ,there are so many tribes and tongues not to talk about the world. This scripture therefore does not specify but the Lord expect us to now walk with our initiatives on how a child of God should dress based on where he or she comes from.
In the western world, Men and women wear trousers. Women have her own special way of sewing their trousers and the same with men.
In Africa, we have some who wear trousers while majority don’t.
Now coming down to our country, in yoruba land, culturally, ladies don’t wear trousers while men wear. In some parts of Nigeria, in some tribes, men tie wrapper like women Because of these varieties in tribes and culture all over the world it is difficult to say this is how somebody should dress. In Scotland for example, men wear skirt like women.
1 Corinthians 8:9 KJVS [9] But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.
Even though we have liberty to put on whatever we feel like wearing, we must not become stumbling block for others who are weak. That is to say according to Paul if ordinary eating of meat will cause your brother to stumble away from faith, phe said he will not eat meat again

Jesus did not come to the world to die for himself. He came for you and me. He denied himself of his glory coming to the world and working around touching lives. He became poor so we can be rich. He did everything for the souls of men. My brethren, if we are saved, it is not only for you. You are saved to rise up for others. So you are not to be concerned about only your comfort . Think about others who are looking up to you. Wearing of trousers or not is not actually the issue because many born again sisters are wearing other things more terrible than trousers because according to them, they love to be comfortable.
There are some terrible trousers people wear these days that reveal all the shape and contour of their bodies same with very tight and mini skirts. Where is the love of God in us if our intention is to cause others to fall? You may not know but that is the target of the enemy.
We were coming from outside the country some times ago, and at the airport I saw a married lady with her child and husband following. She wore a very tight pair of jeans trousers which exposed her in a very seductive way . It was too tight that it is difficult to explain. Such a lady is married, but to her she just wanted to wear something she loved to wear, without considering the impact on others. That is not love.
A Christian has liberty in Christ, but the Word of God cautions us to be careful how we use this Liberty. So we won’t make somebody to stumble away from faith. There so many young converts who are not so strong in faith like you are. If you allow any of them to fall out of faith because of your comfort, God will not take it lightly with you.

A sister was telling me why she decided not wear trousers again. She and her friend went for evangelism her friend wore trousers and blouse while she wore a dress. She used to wear trousers too due to the nature of her work. So many times she is in trousers even when she is not in her place of work. She is so much used to wearing trousers. Fortunately for her that day she didn’t put on trousers and so they were out for evangelism.
They now met a man and started preaching to him. She said the man was just looking at her friend who wore trouser without paying attention to what they were saying . When he could no longer stand it he called this sister and told her to please tell her friend that wore trousers to excuse them. The man said he could not imagine somebody like her preaching to him. That was how the friend left them and the man now told the sister to continue the massage, that he can now listen. This incidence affected the sister that when she got back home. She gave out all her trousers. There is nothing bad in wearing trousers especially when it necessary like in some profession, activities and so on. And everybody will understand.
The most important thing for you to know as a child of God is that you are not living for yourself only, but for the Lord and the people you will reach for Christ. If the holy spirit is actually living in you, you will be concerned how you treat your body to glorify God.
If such sisters were to be in the western world, nobody would read any meaning to it because they see nothing special in you wearing trousers since it is part of their life style. But it means different thing to a lot of people in Africa. It is not spiritually wise to bring their ways of life here. It may hinder the move of God. We therefore need to listen to our spirits on how to dress. That body belongs to God and everything God would do in this world is through that body. We therefore need to treat our body with the wisdom of God so we won’t hinder His move.
Another female minister of God was invited to a woman program. As she was dressing up to go for the program, she heard it deep down in her from the Holy Spirit to remove her earring because she uses them. She was so confused because she has never been condemned on that before.
Anyway to have peace she had to obey her spirit. She removed it and went for the program. She was welcomed and led straight to the altar to minister. She said as she told the women “let Us pray” and all the women closed their eyes, The Holy Spirit told her to wait, open her eyes and look at all the women seated. So she paused and opened her eyes to look at all the women in the hall. She discovered that none of them wore earrings. Then the Lord told her, If she had come here with her earnings, she would not be allowed to preach because there they don’t use it at all. She was shocked and because of that she chose not to put it on again.
What am I saying therefore is that if you are a child of God, there will be sacrifices in carrying your cross to follow the Lord however little. But many believers are not ready to sacrifice anything, and for such, you don’t expect God to use you beyond your church.
If you want God to trust you with great works, you must be ready to sacrifice your comfort at times for God to have his way in your life. There are things he may ask you to drop even though they are not sinful, but for Him to move unhindered, You may need to do so and every obedience like that will lead to promotion.
So in anything we do let us know that we are not only living for ourselves but for God and souls. Do not be a stumbling blocking to others in what ever you allow in your life ,be it in your dressing ,or in any other areas of your life . That is how to walk in love. Listen to the HolySpirit because he lives in you and be ready to obey him because God is more concerned with souls of men hence he said

Nigerian Singer, Davido now fondly called Mr. Assurance has issued a stern warning via his social media platform, to folks who rock fake designer wears shortly after Toke Makinwa flaunted her “off-white” designer belt.
The singer revealed that he would snitch on any one who flaunts their fake wears the next time he spots one.
The Nigerian radio personality, television host and author did not respond as she probably noted the warning.

Nigerian singer, Benjamin Ogwehi, aka, Mr. Shaa, who became the first Nigerian entertainer to invest in buying a sex doll has revealed that he is yet to have sex with it.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Shaa claimed that he was yet to have sex with the doll.
He said:
“My sex doll is a virgin. I named her Tontoh because she is a very beautiful woman.
“Now, I can have peace of mind and I can focus on my music. I did not buy the doll to satisfy my sexual urge; I just wanted something that looks like a woman that I can take care of.

The Benin Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction of three fraudsters at the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.
Two of the convicts, Prince Henry Ofeyi and Afatakpa David were convicted and sentenced by Justice P. I. Ajoku on Wednesday April 2 while the third convict, David Abumhere was convicted and sentenced on Thursday April 3, by the same judge.
Henry Ofeyi and David Afatakpa were arraigned by the EFCC on a One count charge each bordering on intent to defraud. Prince Henry Ofeyi was said to have on or about the 5th of October, 2017 falsely represented himself to be one Dexter Smith, a false identity he used in defrauding his victims.
For Afatakpa David, he was alleged to have represented himself as Vin Diesel, an American Movie Star on social media platforms, an identity he used to defraud his victims.
Upon arraignment, the duo pleaded guilty to charge prompting the prosecution counsel, Aso Larry Peter to ask the court to convict the accused persons accordingly. He also told the court that the EFCC recovered from Prince Henry Ofeyi the sum of N400,590.00 (Four Hundred Thousand, Five Hundred and Ninety Naira) only and a Toyota Corolla Saloon car while the sum of N200,342.99 (Two Hundred Thousand, Three Hundred and Fourth Two Naira Ninety Nine Kobo) only was recovered from Akatakpa. D.Tageme.
The defence counsel Moses Oriazowan pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy saying the accused persons were remorseful and have promised never to go back to such despicable act.
After listening to both counsels, Justice P.I.Ajoku sentenced the accused persons to one month imprisonment each adding that the proceeds of crime be forfeited to the Federal Government so that their victims can be restituted.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, May 3, 2018, arraigned the trio of Owolabi Kayode Samuel, Esther Olubukola Mate and Abimbola David-Orugun before Justice Hakeem Oshodi of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing to the tune of N4.576m
The defendants, who are staff of Hope Worldwide Foundation, were arraigned alongside Cumulative Ventures Limited and Continental Best Buys Limited. .
Led by the prosecution counsel, the first prosecution witness, PW1, Abasiekong Udobang, Programme Manager, MTN Nigeria, told the court how the defendants misappropriated funds meant for the treatment of people living with AIDS and the less-privileged in the society.
Udobang also informed the court that the money belonged to MTN Foundation, a subsidiary of MTN Nigeria, which was established for the purpose of giving back to the society, in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Under cross-examination by the defence counsel, J. O.Odubela, SAN, the witness confirmed that the money meant for the treatment of the AIDs victim was usually paid to Hope Worldwide quarterly.
Justice Oshodi adjourned the case to June 26, 2018 for continuation of trial.
