Some days back, Nigerian politician, Deji Adeyanju called on the EFCC to investigate the source of wealth of Dubai-based big boy, Hushpuppi.
Deji made the appeal while reacting to the arrest of 12 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos last week – a tweet he sent in suggested that Hushpuppi was an internet fraudster aka ”Yahoo Yahoo boy”.

The ongoing drama between Nollywood Actress Lilian Afegbai, Tonto Dikeh and BBNaija’s Gifty appears to have peaked as Lilian has just replied both Tonto and Gifty.
A property developer, Alhaji Ayobami Oseni, was yesterday sentenced to a cumulative jail term of 2,670 years by Chief Magistrate O. O. Olatunji of an Ebute-Metta Magistrate’s Court for defrauding 133 accommodation seekers of N25 million.
Oseni was convicted by the magistrate after he owned up to a 267-count charge of conspiracy, obtaining under false pretences and stealing slammed on him by the police.
The convict was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment on each of the counts without an option of fine.
The sentences, which are to run concurrently, take effect from April 26, 2017 when Oseni was remanded in prison custody following the revocation of his bail.
In sentencing the developer, Olatunji held that the offences contravened Sections 285, 312 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
He also ordered the Lagos State government to sell the building and share the proceeds among the 133 victims of the fraud.
The convict was arraigned by the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID) on December 7, 2012.
He, however, pleaded not guilty upon his arraignment. However, in the course of trial, Oseni changed his lawyer about four times before deciding to represent himself.
Afterwards, he changed his plea to “guilty.”
He denied being a fraudster and claimed that the building contained eight apartments, not six, but that it was “not normal” for 133 people to live in eight apartments.
At the commencement of trial on February 27, 2013, prosecution’s lawyer, ASP Abraham Fadipe, told the court that Oseni was the developer of a onestorey building at No 3, Church Close, Ajao Estate, Lagos.
He described the building as containing four mini-flats and two self-contained apartments.
According to Fadipe, Oseni posed as a landlord and erected ‘To let’ signs around Ajao Estate while the building was under construction.
Oseni was said to have obtained rents, agency and agreement fees ranging from N160,000 to N300,000, totalling N25 million from at least 133 accommodation seekers on the pretext that each of them would get an apartment in the building.
The prosecution called five witnesses, four of whom testified that when they arrived at the property to take possession, it was already occupied.
The prospective tenants later petitioned the Lagos State Real Estate Transaction Department (LASRETRAD), an agency of the Lagos State Ministry of Housing on November 26, 2012.
The agency later invited the police and held watching brief while trial lasted.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday night said he would rather vacate his office as the nation’s Number Two man than compromise his Christian faith.
Osinbajo stated this while responding to posers raised by some Christian leaders at the stakeholders’ meeting held at the new Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House, Makurdi.
He said under no circumstances would he give up his faith but would rather vacate his position as the nation’s Vice-President at the slightest attempt to cause him to abandon his Christian virtues.
One of the speakers, the Catholic Bishop of Gboko, His Lordship, Williams Avenya, had reminded Osinbajo of the then-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign promises that he would not Islamise the country and would protect the interest of all Nigerians including citizens of minority ethnic groups if voted into power.
Quoting Buhari, the bishop said, “My deputy is a Christian and there is no way I will Islamise Nigeria with many Christians in my team.”
Avenya noted that the killing of Christians and members of the minority ethnic group particularly in Benue State had proved that the Federal Government under Buhari was not living up to these promises.
Facing Osinbajo, the bishop said, “The point I’m trying to make is that a day is going to come when you, as the Vice-President, will bear the brunt of that problem of injustices in our land, especially those perpetrated on smaller ethnic groups that have no one to fight for them.
“So, as a Christian person, exonerate yourself from this situation,” the bishop advised the VP.
Responding, the vice-president said, “My Lord Bishop, you said you are not a politician, I am also not a politician. As a matter of fact, I’m also a priest and I’m a Christian, a born again Christian. Because I’m a born again Christian, my destiny is not determined by any man but by God who I serve.
“Let me assure you that under no circumstances, none whatsoever, will I give up my faith or refuse to stand up for my faith.
“You can take that to the bank. Even the position that I currently occupy, I did not ask for it and I’m prepared to leave it at a short notice.
“It doesn’t mean anything. I became a born again Christian after I became a professor, a professor of the law of evidence, a professor of proof.
“But when the Lord Jesus Christ met me, He persuaded me by showing me clearly that there is such a thing as the evidence of things that are not seen.
“It is because of the evidence of things that are not seen, it is because you can make something out of nothing that I stand here today as Vice-President.
“How possible can anyone say that the killing of women and children doesn’t matter because he is Vice-President or because he is President? How is that possible? Certainly, it cannot be for a person who is born again. A renewed mind will know that there is justice, there is consequence even if there is no justice here on earth.”
The Vice-President, while reacting to the issue raised by another speaker, Dr. Magdalene Dura, that the invasion of the state was an ethnic agenda, said no one would deliberately kill his own people.
“I do not accept and I do not believe that there is an agenda. No one will deliberately kill his own people. No one will do so. But we cannot bring back the dead but we can make life more bearable for the living.
“This is why coming here today at the behest of the President is first, to look at the situation myself, to get a first-hand view of the situation because the President has mandated me to take this on board and deal with the issues,” Osinbajo added.
In his remark, Governor Samuel Ortom appealed to the Federal Government to ensure that peace reign in his state.
The governor said that the killing of the two Catholic priests and 17 parishioners could have caused a religious crisis but for the prompt action of his administration.
He appreciated the Federal Government for deploying more troops to the state as well as releasing funds for control of flood in the state.

It’s no news that over the years since he plunged into internet stardom, his ‘bae’ has been the one behind his extravagant lifestyle.
Many a time, the transvestite has praised this ‘bae’ of his on his social media accounts – should he have wads of cash to show off? he’ll chip it in how his bae was the one who sent the money to him, or is it a newly acquired mansion? it couldn’t be the revenue generated from his lightening cream that woulda purchased it but his so-called ‘bae’.
Now, Bobrisky has said he and this bae of his are going to be tying the knots come Sunday, the 20th of May, 2018 but it will be a private wedding between himself and his ‘bae’.

Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia took to her Instagram page to share this stunning photo of her youngest daughter, Olivia Idibia cuddling up to her father, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia while he slept.
The little girl is all shades of adorable as she rests on her father’s bosom – mama bear, Annie captioned the photo,
“Her First ?”
Olivia Idibia is the youngest of 2face’s seven children.
After the news of Davido’s romantic gesture towards his girlfriend broke the net earlier this month, Annie Idibia seemed to throw shades on Instagram.
In a post shared on her Instagram Story, Annie Idibia simply wrote;
“A kid can’t keep a man. Facts. Argue with your phone”, without mentioning names.
But people began speculating that her post was connected with Davido and Chioma – it should be noted that she made the post just hours after Davido’s news hit the internet.
The first day of May 2018 in Nigeria was quite a big one on social media as the report of Davido buying a Porsche for his girlfriend clouded virtually all social media platforms…
…and since that time, tongues haven’t stopped wagging over the news – there’ve been heavy criticisms after it was revealed that the singer had been dating the chef for over five years, meaning that he had two children while he was with her, the news reportedly yielded a multi-million Naira endorsement deal for the chef, the singer’s song, ‘Assurance‘ for her, has been topping charts amongst many other developments affiliated to the report.
In light of the news, people have been reacting to it and of course, celebrities were not left out – a lot of them praised the singer for being such a hopeless romantic.
We got a chance to meet up with actress, Toyin Abraham and when we asked her how she felt over Davido’s N25m gesture towards his chef girlfriend, she had this to say,
“Their love is a sweet love, but they’re just growing up, they’re still kids, so it’s fine… But I love love, I’m a sucker for love, I’m a lover… I love love so much”
Nigerian big boy, Hushpuppi has said he’s soon renounce his Nigerian citizenship following the reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, raided Club 57 in Lagos last Thursday and arrested 12 suspected internet fraudsters and confiscated exotic cars.
Though the management of the club released a statement online that the EFCC didn’t arrest any of their customers, it’s been buzzing online that some suspected Yahoo boys were apprehended by the anti-crime body.
In light of this, Deji Adeyanju, a former PDP member appealed to the EFCC to investigate Nigerian big boy and de-factor ambassador of Gucci, Hushpuppi who’s alleged to be an internet fraudster.
He said this in a series of posts on microblogging platform, Twitter where he recommended Dubai-based Nigerian man, Hushpuppi for investigation and subsequent arrest. Read his tweets here
Hushpuppi has now reacted to the news and declared that he is soon to renounce his Nigerian citizenship – according to him, ‘he’s not doing again‘.
