Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Angel, took to his Instagram page earlier today to share the story of how his brother survived an act of police brutality in Ondo state.
According to him, an angry police officer shot at a commercial bus his brother took from Ondo to Rivers state.
The brother however survived without any harm.

The driver was trying to evade the so called illegal police check point in order not to pay the regular toll tip-they collect on the highway
One shot penetrated the trunk of the seana, but was obstructed by passengers luggage,
Whilst the second shot penetrated from the lower side of the vehicle hitting my brother on the his belt before contact with is hip. Luckily, by the grace of God, no harm befell him.

A Nigerian woman has decried the behaviour of her husband who starves her emotionally and sexually and is also physically abusive towards her.
The woman who hails from Anambra state, Nigeria, went to the humanitarian group Due Process Advocate, DPA to seek help as regards her predicament.
She stated that her husband beats her, even when she’s pregnant, cheats on her, and never makes love to her except she begs for it.
She said: “I have to beg him before he make love to me. Sometimes he give me half chop and complain tiredness. I will endure because I am from poor family.”
The mother-of-five said he also intimidates her such that she can’t talk back at him – she went on to say that he dates married women within their neighborhood, even women in their compound and in their street.
He doesn’t try to hide it and goes as far as answering their calls in her presence. But she can’t confront him because that will only result in more beatings.
Having endured these, she now wants to leave the marriage but doesn’t know how to proceed, especially as the man only paid her bride price and they never had a traditional, court or church marriage.

A mother has cried out after her husband battered her because she reunited with her kids years after he took them from her and lied to them that she was dead.
The unnamed woman cried out to the advocacy agency DPA after she was beaten so bad, she lost a tooth and was bleeding.
In a message sent to the agency, she revealed that her husband sent her away 5 years after their marriage, then he married a second wife.
He then enrolled their kids in a school far from home and told the school authorities that his wife is dead and no one is allowed to come visiting his kids.

A Thai woman identified as Ejan has gone online to show the result of eyebrow tattoo job she did.
According to the woman, she paid just 200 baht for the pair of tattoos that were just thick lumps that look like caterpillars.
“I met the tattooist through work, He said he had done his wife’s and they looked OK. So for only 200 baht I thought why not. I never thought they would be that thick”.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has arrested six suspected internet fraudsters also known as ‘yahoo yahoo boys’.
The suspected fraudsters were said to have been picked up in one of their hideouts, Kubwa area, Abuja.
The suspects are Ihoeghian Aghasomwan, Precious Osarumen, Enabulele Osazee Frank, Osahon Scott, Efe Ehieorobo and Peter James.
According to Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC spokesman, the operation was carried out on Friday, May 11 by the advance fee fraud section of the commission following an intelligence report on the activities of the suspected fraudsters.
“Surveillance was carried out and the identity and location of the fraudsters who specialize in defrauding innocent citizens both within and outside the country through internet was identified,” Uwujaren said.
“On arrest, some of [the] items recovered from the suspects include – one Toyota Camry 2009, 10 laptop computers, 4 ECOWAS International passports, 17 mobile phones, 2 flash drive, HP printer and Certificate of Award of Asian Professional Security Association in favour of Sun Yaje.
“Also recovered was a travelling bag and air piece check-in bag suggesting Abuja as its destination dated March 19, 2018 labelled with two paper clearance certificate of Custom Controlling Department, International Affairs China, No: 00548 and TDK courier service worldwide express service shipment details with track No: ME103178131.”
The EFCC said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as its investigation is concluded.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday said the odds of initial dwindling oil prices did not discourage his administration from setting targets for lofty developmental projects and achieving more in three years than the 16 years of Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) misrule.
The president, according to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Malam Garba Shehu, said this at the palace of the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi, during his two-day visit to Jigawa State.
President Buhari added that his administration was delivering on promises with clear-cut targets, prudent management of resources and a deliberate policy to plug wastage and pilfering of government resources.
He said the growing support his administration currently enjoys can be attributed to the understanding of Nigerians of the unpleasant realities it inherited, and the efforts to reposition the economy in spite of “what the opposition keeps sponsoring in the press’’.
President Buhari directed the Minister of Water Resources, Eng. Sulaiman Adamu, to work with the Jigawa State Government to alleviate the challenge of water scarcity in the state capital, following a complaint by the Emir of Dutse.
On arrival in Jigawa State, the President began his engagements at Auyo, near Hadejia, where he inaugurated the expansion of an irrigation scheme and paid a visit to the Emir of Hadejia, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje.
The president, who was received “by a tumultuous crowd”, thanked the Emir of Hadejia and his people for always supporting him, even when he was an opposition candidate.
He said his visit to Hadejia was more of homecoming, promising to give more attention to the needs of the people in the Emirate.
In his remarks, the Emir of Dutse commended the Federal Government for its efforts in addressing the challenges of corruption, terrorism and drug abuse in the country.
The emir requested that the Date Palm Research Centre in Dutse, currently under the National Oil Palm Research Institute, be moved to the Federal University, explaining that the research centre would be more relevant and functional in the university.
Both emirs held special prayers for the President and his administration.

Niger Tornadoes FC player, Isah Hussaini, was last night killed by a reckless motorcycle rider popularly called okoda, along Maitumbi road, Minna, Niger State, minutes after playing in his club’s match against Kwara United.

Miracle’s brother, Captain Igbokwe, has now reacted to the allegation.
Reacting via Instagram Live, Captain Igbokwe said the woman known as Juliet is actually their Aunty and that it is disrespectful for anyone to allege that Miracle has anything amorous to do with his own Aunt.
He said: “Juliet is Miracle’s aunt, it is insulting because someone is hurt or you have been unable to see Miracle outside the house then try to fabricate stories.
“In our family, we love each other dearly and down to earth. And then someone calls my aunt, my brother’s sugar mummy it is unfair. How do you expect people to see her in public, this is a woman who has a reputation?”
According to him, ‘EFCC needs to have a waiter stationed at every club in VI and Lekki’. Online stores and stores on Admiralty/Fola Osibo in Lekki are all used for money laundering’.
He has now clarified that not all stores on Fola Osibo are fronts for fraudsters.
