A young lady has been jolted back to reality by the economic and living conditions she currently finds herself in.
She had allegedly left her N850k-monthly job in the UK to be with her boyfriend in Nigeria
A Twitter user, identified as Arinze Odira, has narrated the current ordeal his colleague’s fiancee is going through, as she has resolved to relocate back to the U.K
According to him, the job she has in Nigeria , pays her a total of 27k with a 1k deduction if she goes to work late

The first job she got pays N27k monthly with a N1k deduction anytime she’s late to work.
She’s on her way back to the UK. They will love from a distance.”
A 20 year old welder, identified as Maina Mustapha has been allegedly killed at politician’s residence in Maiduguri.
The Police Command in Borno on Tuesday confirmed that the deceased was killed in Maiduguri during a gathering at the resident of a politician, Mr Grema Terab.
Investigations have begun, and the Commissioner of Police, Mr Damian Chukwu, told newsmen that a total of 24 persons have been arrested in connection with the killing which occurred on April 15,2018.
He said the command had earlier declined request by Terab to hold a political meeting at his residence in GRA area of Maiduguri.
In his words;
“Terab sent a request in a letter with a PDP logo, seeking permission to hold a meeting at his residence in the GRA area.
“The letter was signed by Terab and not by the PDP Chairman or any other official of the party.
“And considering the appearance of a party logo on the letter, we notified him that the command would not permit political gathering within residential areas and advised him to hold the meeting at public places or hotels to enable us to provide security.
“Terab acted against the command’s position, held the meeting at his residence and in the process one persons was stabbed to death,”
Terab, who was the convener of the meeting,has gone into hiding and is currently at large even though he has been ordered to report to the nearest police station.
“The Johnson’s” TV series star, actress Ada Ameh has shared the story of how she got pregnant at an early age and still scaled through the challenges it came with.
She said she got pregnant while she was in secondary school. She however dropped out of school when she failed JAMB and GCE.

Barbara Bush former United States First Lady is dead.
She died at the age of 92.
Barbara Bush is the wife of George HW Bush and mother of George W Bush.
Her husband, George HW Bush, who died at 93 is the longest US President that has ever lived.
Their son, George, was elected in 2000 and served two terms as the nation’s 43rd president.
Her death was announced in a statement by her husband and former President George W Bush.
According to the statement, she died in Houston, Texas after battling congestive heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
She reportedly decided not to seek any further treatment.
The statement read in part: “Late Barbara Bush was born in New York City on June 8, 1925. She met her husband, George H.W. Bush, at a dance in Massachusetts in 1941 when she was 16 years old.
“After dating for a year and a half, the couple got engaged before he went off to World War II to serve as a Navy torpedo bomber pilot.
“When he returned on leave, Barbara dropped out of Smith College in Northampton, Mass. They got married two weeks later on Jan. 6, 1945, in Rye, N.Y.
“She became first lady after her husband was elected president in 1988, and continued to promote her cause of literacy.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex, has shared how controversial housemate, Cynthia Nwadiora, Cee-C, feels about her relationship with Tobi.
Recall that Tobi was initially Cee-c’s strategic partner, in the beginning of the game, which later spun into a romance – an up and down/back and forth affair that shattered along the line.
And ever since they almost got disqualified from the game due to their indifference, both housemates have been barely talking to each other.
Tobi then moved on and have for weeks now, been so close with Alex – an interesting development which the duo classify as simple and nothing more.
Although, Cee-C on the other hand, suspects something is going on between them.
While speaking with Biggie during her Diary Session on Monday, Alex explained that there’s nothing going on between her and Tobi.
She described Tobi as a ‘normal friend,’ adding that she does not blame Cee-c for thinking otherwise.
According to her,
“Cee-c thinks I have always liked Tobi from day one. “She thinks I have taken her boyfriend. But the truth of the matter is that Tobi has a girlfriend outside the house. “She does not talk to me and I don’t even see her. Cee-c thinks I snatched Tobi because she’s having issues with him.”

AFP reports that Jerome Hamon a 43 year old man known as ‘the man with three faces’ has said he is getting used to his new identity.
He is the first person to receive a two face transplants
Jerome Hamon underwent the world’s first full face transplant, including tear ducts and eyelids, in a procedure at a hospital outside Paris in July 2010.
But the same year – in order to treat nothing more than a common cold – he was given an antibiotic incompatible with his immunosuppressive treatment.
In 2016, he began to display signs of transplant rejection, and his new face deteriorated. By November last year, the 43-year-old’s face, suffering from necrosis, had to be removed.
Jerome Hamon, who suffers from a genetic mutation which causes severely disfiguring tumours, remained in hospital without a face for two months before a compatible donor was found and a successful second transplant carried out.
Still recovering in hospital three months after his latest operation, he says he has quickly accepted his new identity.
His new face remains smooth and motionless, with his skull, skin and features yet to be fully aligned, a gradual process reliant on immunosuppressant drugs which, it is hoped, will prevent his body rejecting the transplanted material.
‘I feel very well in myself,’ he told reporters last week as he continues his recovery from the surgery which was carried out on January 15 and 16.
‘I can’t wait to get rid of all this,’ he adds, speaking with difficulty of all the major treatment he has undergone to become the first man to have received two face transplants.
This unprecedented feat was painstakingly carried out by the staff at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital in Paris, and Laurent Lantieri, a professor of plastic surgery, who led the team through the multi-step procedure.
Alex wrote an apology letter to Cee-C yesterday and was very emotional while reading it out to her.
They have been having a lot of tension between them which seem to be as a result of Alex’s closeness to Tobi.
Things however became really intense between them on Sunday when Cee-C told Ebuka that Alex throws herself at all the men in the house.

Cee-C,
Yes we have our differences. I know we can’t be the best of friends, but do you think God is happy with us and what’s going on? I’m not saying you are wrong or that I’m wrong, or that we are both right. It doesn’t have to be this way. We don’t have to end the friendship we had this way. I’m sorry if I hurt you. I accept all you told me.
It’s okay if you don’t want to talk to me anymore. It’s okay if you decide to go with however you see me. But for me, it won’t be a good thing to leave this House angry at you, or anyone else. We’ve been around for each other in times of need and that is something to value.
I hereby put whatever issues we’ve had, in the past. It’s a game. We all came here to win. And as the last five, we’re all winners. Even if you don’t believe me, most times when I think of you, I still have reasons to smile, before my anger. I’m not apologetic for who I am.
The Bible says there is no need praying when you are keeping malice. I’m writing this with tears in my eyes because it’s from my heart. We don’t try to understand each other and it’s fine. Regardless, deep down, I still have love for you.
I don’t even know if I’m making sense, but I’m deeply sorry for every single bad thing I’ve said to you in this House. It breaks my heart to see you alon,e even though I try to act all strong and straight with you. I still have a heart.
I’m not writing this so we’ll talk again. I’m just saying it doesn’t have to end this way. Tobi, or any guy is not enough to build a wall between us. My immaturity is my fault and I accept it.

Two gay men in Kenya, identified as Brian Waititu and Eric Kamande got engaged yesterday in Kiambu County, Kenya.
Waititu got down on one knee and proposed to Kamande. A surprised and teary Kamande said Yes.

Meanwhile, Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Cee-c is now the head of house for the final week of the television reality show.
Biggie wanted housemates to pick this week’s head of house among themselves.
He, however told them that they should select between the housemate that had served as the head of house the least number of times and the housemate that had headed the house the most.
Tobi and Cee-c fell under these categories.
But housemate flouted the order and picked Nina instead as the Head of House.
Their decision did not, however, go well with Biggie who gave them 90 minutes to reverse the choice.
They were given the option to choose from either Cee-c or Tobi.
While Tobi has won the highest number of Head of House challenge, Cee-c had won none.
The housemates, therefore stripped Nina off the Head of House and gave it to Cee-c.
David Adeleke popularly known by his stage name, Davido, has said he is not getting married anytime soon.
The 25-year-old made the revelation on Tuesday during an early morning show at Beats FM.
The Fia coroner, who was asked during the show if he was planning on getting married, stated that settling down is not in his plan any time soon.
Davido, who is a father of two beautiful daughters from two baby mamas, is currently in a relationship with a Babcock University undergraduate, Chioma, whom he has been sharing adorable pictures with on his social media accounts.

Mark Angel and Emmanuella have revealed in a chat with NAIJA.NG that a company once offered to buy their Facebook page for $400,000.
According to Mark Angel, the money when converted to Naira was worth over N100 million as at the time he got the offer. However, a quick conversion showed that the money was worth N144,000,000.
Mark Angel said he declined the offer because it’s not all about money adding that “money cannot buy what we do”.
He further stressed that “you can sell it and start again but there are people who can only get a laugh through that channel and by selling it, you will deny them that chance”.
“Recently, a company wanted to buy out our Facebook page. I thought it as a scam but this company is well known and they offered us $400,000 when I converted it to Naira, it was more than N100million (N144m). My first thought was ‘guys lets sell it.’

Mark Angel also said their skit had prevented an African president from taking a rash decision that would have affected his country.
“There was an African president who told us we saved him from taking a rash decision that would have affected his country. We were invited for dinner and we did not know why we were invited until he shared his testimony with us, Mark Angel said”.
Talking about why they shot their videos in Port Harcourt. He said,
“To work in Lagos is very hard. If you want to start shooting, agbero’s will come and start demanding outrageous sums of money from you. There was a time we were asked to pay N170, 000 settling these touts before we were allowed to shoot. That’s why we shoot in PH and market our skits in Lagos”.

Big brother Naija housemate, Khloe who was disqualified, voted back in for a second chance, and then evicted on Sunday, has reacted to her perceived hate for Miracle and Alex, and also why she didn’t accomplish her mission of putting Cee-C in her place.
Taking to her Instagram page, she wrote;
“Sometimes you have to disconnect to stay connected. Remember the old days when you had eye contact during a conversation? When everyone wasn’t looking down at a device in their hands? We’ve become so focused on that tiny screen that we forget the big picture, the people right in front of us.

About a week ago, the video of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye, saying people who do not pay tithe will not make heaven, caused a serious frenzy on the Nigerian internet.
The video generated a lot of reactions on social media with many Nigerians, particularly Christians, asking if that is what the bible really says. Watch the video here.
In an obvious response to Pastor Adeboye’s statement, Reno Omokri via his twitter handle, wrote,
“The only qualification Jesus gave for entry to heaven is that you should be born again then born of water and the Spirit. No pastor can set a financial qualification to entering heaven. Paying tithes has nothing to do with entering heaven. Such pastors should read 1 Timothy 6:5-6”.

Baltimore police have charged a babysitter with first-degree child abuse five in connection with the death of a 6-month-old girl who was placed under her care.
Lataya Hutchins, 32, was arrested on Thursday and charged with first-degree child abuse in the death of Indira Henderson five months ago.
According to CBS Baltimore, police were called to the 5400 block of Plainfield Ave., just before 9 a.m, on November 18, 2017, to investigate an unconscious baby.
Responding officers found a 6-month-old girl, Indira Henderson, being treated by medics. She was rushed to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Following an autopsy which was conducted on Nov. 19, 2017, and completed on March 30, 2018, baby Indira death was ruled a homicide by poisoning.
It was revealed that she died as a result of poisoning from Lidocaine, an anesthetic often used to treat irregular heartbeats.
Investigation into Henderson’s death revealed that her babysitter, Hutchins, had administered an enema to Henderson because the infant had not pooped in four days.
After getting permission from Henderson’s mother, Hutchins reportedly placed a foreign object covered with the substance in the baby’s bottom, and applied a lubricant to the pipette with warm water.
Doctors found that the lubricant used by Hutchins had Lidocaine in it, which led to the baby’s death.
Kemi Olunloyo disagrees with Police PRO who said Davido’s girlfriend won him over with food.
The Police PRO had attributed Davido’s intense love for his girlfriend, Chioma Avril Rowland to her cooking skills.

BBNaija Lolu and Anto have begun their mediatour and were opportuned to meet with Davido.
They were guests on The Morning Show with Olisa Adibua and Osi Suave.
The show also had Davdio on air which was how they met.
Khloe is absent for the media tour because she had done hers the first time she was out of the BBNaija house.
Anto was indeed pleased with his presence and all her fans out there, taking to instagram she shared the below photo, with the caption;

While other housemates seem to be at peace with each other, the same cannot be said for Cee-C and Alex.
Things appear to be intense in the house amongst the 5 remaining housemates.
The two have been known to constantly be at logger-heads with each other.
Although most people attribute their beef to the fact that Tobi is closer to Alex than Cee-C, who is now the Head Of House.
Currently not on good terms, Alex decided to be the bigger person by tendering at apology to Cee-C for anything and everything she may have done to upset her.
She read the apology letter in the presence of the other housemates.
The Borno Police Command on Tuesday confirmed the arrest of a female suicide bomber at the Bakassi Internally Displaced (IDPs) camp in Maiduguri.
According to a statement by Edet Okon, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), in Maiduguri, the suicide bomber was arrested by men of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) team, on Tuesday at about 6: 50 a.m. while lurking around the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp.
He said that policemen condoned off the area, diffused the bomb and apprehended the suspect. The police spokesman added that the suspect is in police custody.
Okon said: “on Tuesday, at about 6:50 a.m., a female suicide bomber was sighted behind Bakassi IDP camp in Maiduguri metropolis. On sighting the bomber, conventional policemen alongside the EOD team swung into action and cordoned the area, to prevent escape of the bomber into the city. The suspect, one Zara Idriss was rendered safe, arrested and is now in custody”.
Okon advised members of the public to go about their normal activities without fear and to report any suspicious movement in their localities to security agencies. He reiterated the command’s commitments to protect lives and property in the state.

In Nigeria, it has come to our knowledge that possessing that spray in public is illegal and it might get you arrested.
This was evident in a reply to a twitter user who according to her was in poice custody because she was found with a pepper spray.

An American man got more than what he bargained for in a recent incident as he had a really embarrassing moment when he got stuck inside a sex doll and had to make a distress call to 911. When police arrived, they filmed the process of trying to get the man unstuck and it’s extremely hilarious to watch.
The man, simply identified as Andrew, is seen on his bed, begging the uniformed officers who responded to his call, not to call for more help, obviously out of embarrassment. But the officers informed him they needed to as they couldn’t extricate him from the sex toy on their own.
“I’m in pain, Don’t judge me,” he kept screaming in agony. .
“If you don’t want to be judged, don’t call the sheriff’s department,” a male officer replied in exasperation.
The officers had to ask him some uncomfortable questions in order to figure out a way to help him.
“Are you stuck inside or under,” a female officer asked.
Andrew replied: “A little bit of all that.”
The male officer then said in a cheeky manner: “Can I ask you a question, man to man? And I don’t know her very well (referring to the sex doll). Are you going in the front or back cos I honestly can’t tell.”
Andrew replied: “Right now, I’m doing the front ’cause I already, I sort of messed up the back a little.”
It’s hard not to laugh at this point as the male officer inhales audibly, then exhales and asks him, “sort of messed up the back?”
To which Andrew replied: “I’m getting judged so completely.”
The male officer then faced the camera and said: “Kids at home, in case you’re watching, there’s a whole lot of predicaments in the world you can get out of with a simple understanding of some physics and some chemistry. So what’re you gonna do?”
The officers then warmed up their hands then tried to force the sex doll up. Andrew screamed out in pain at this but it didn’t work immediately. After so much effort, they finally succeeded in freeing the man.
