Veteran actress, Shan George took to her Instagram page to share a video of her recent experience on a flight.
She narrated the poor state of the aeroplane and also stated she has never been so scared in a plane like she was on this one.
The actress who was quick to share her experience did not mention the name of the Airline.

A Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Rumuolumeni Police Division in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen.
Identified as Kingsley Chukwueggu, he was shot dead by the gunmen, who were in police uniform in the late hours of Sunday, 8th April while he was in a private vehicle returning to Port Harcourt along Awaza community road in Abia state.
It was gathered that the police officer had travelled to see his aged mother in his village in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
According to reports, the assailants attacked him several times in his back with a cutlass before shooting him in the head at a close range.
“Chukwueggu , who was approaching the point where the hoodlums were standing, had stopped and come out of his car to instruct them to stop harassing innocent citizens. He never knew that they were not policemen. I think they identified him as a police officer and took him into a nearby bush where they attacked him with a cutlass in the back and shot him in the head,” an eye witness aid.
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zaki Ahmed, described Chukwueggu as one of the best Divisional Police Officers in the country.
“We have lost a fine officer; one of the best DPOs. He is professionally outstanding, a committed and dedicated officer, he did the job with passion.
The late DPO left behind a wife, five children and his aged mother.
A 28-year-old former student of Covenant University took to social media to narrate how he was introduced to marijuana and how the drug has ruined his life.
The Covenant University dropout with the Twitter username Naija Class Captain said he was a bright, intelligent child who tried the substance just to experiment in his secondary school days, but it became a part of his life and it got so bad that he began to steal to fund the lifestyle.
As a result, he dropped out of Covenant University.
He is still trying to get his life under control but, from the look of things, it hasn’t been so easy.

Recall that it was recently on the media that a 24 year old final year student died after taking alcohol, codeine, tramadol and cannabis at a party.

A public hearing organised by the Senate Joint Committee on Drugs and Narcotics and Health in Abuja held recently was based on a motion entitled “The Need to Check the Rising Menace of Pharmaceutical Drugs Abuse among Youths in Nigeria”.
It was revealed that 50 tonnes of Tramadol was recently destroyed in Kano alone.
Director, Technical Services of the agency, Mr Femi Oloruntoba, said there were laws guiding the use of controlled drugs like Tramadol and Cocaine and what was needed was enforcement of the laws.
“In 2016, about 31 different substances were abused in Nigeria,” he said.

On Tuesday in Lagos, while speaking with newsmen , the singer stated expressly that it was about time good people intervened in Nigeria’s politics.
He, however, did not reveal under which political platform and at what level he would be seeking to actualize his political aspiration.
Nonetheless, Mr Tuface Idibia said he was interested in affecting lives positively and would soon pick up the challenge of a political position. He also urged youths to get more involved politically P.M News reported.

“This thing is going on for too long, repeating itself over and over. There has to be a solution, the victims are not goats they are humans and should be taken care of.
“I feel terrible not because it also happened in Benue State, where I hail from, but because it is also happening almost throughout the federation.

One of Big Brother Naija “Best Couple”, Miracle and Nina, are currently having issues, after Ebuka questioned Nina’s statement, where she was quoted to have said that “She can’t date Miracle outside of the house, but rather go back to her boyfriend”.

Nina has declared that the Big Brother Naija show host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, has damaged her relationship with her fellow housemate, Miracle and her boyfriend Collins.
Nina has lamented about the question put to her by Ebuka during last Sunday’s Night Evction show.
Ebuka had asked her how strong her relationship with Miracle was and if it would continue outside the show.
Ebuka further insisted to know if she could call Miracle her boyfriend. Responding, Nina refused to call Miracle her boyfriend, but rather said he was “My best friend. My everything.”
She said her relationship with Miracle was now in serious confusion as a result of the said question.
Nina now fears she may lose both Collins and Miracle, her two boyfriends, with the way she responded to Ebuka.

In the reality show, Miracle and Nina had shared kisses, had showers together and at least. cuddle every night, with something that looks like actual sex.
Alex, however, advised Nina to keep her relationship to herself and stop giving people what to talk about.
She said, “When you are asked about your relationship with Miracle, reply from your heart. Tell them what you want to tell them.”
Alex told her she should not be fast in responding to such questions because she doesn’t know what may happen outside the show.
She added that, “It may be that you have no relationship again outside. And you never can tell if you and Miracle would continue.”
Dane man, Mr. Peter Nielsen, accused of killing his wife and daughter, is yet to be charged with any offence, his legal representatives, Primera Africa Legal (PAL), said on Tuesday.
Police detectives from the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, are investigating Nielson over the death of his artiste wife, Zainab Ali-Nielsen and her four-year-old daughter, Petra.
It was alleged that the duo were murdered in the family’s Banana Island, Ikoyi, residence, in the early hours of April 5.
PAL’s Senior Partner, F. Boma Ayomide Alabi, said in a statement that Mr. Nielsen “is fully cooperating” with the investigators at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID).
She sought transparent investigation and access to the Danish national by his lawyers, adding that the suspect has not been charged and the cause of death was unknown.
Alabi said there had been “largely inaccurate and speculative public and media narrative”against her client.
“He has not been charged with any crime yet. The cause of death is still unknown.
“It is in the interest of justice that an opportunity is availed Mr. Nielsen to defend himself and that the investigation is transparent, factual and unbiased.
“The Nigeria Police must allow Mr. Nielsen access to his lawyers. In the eyes of the law, he is presumed innocent until proven guilty after an adversarial trial process.
“We, therefore, plead that no one rushes to judgment and that we allow the law take its course,” she said.
The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Chike Oti, had said Nielsen was detained at the SCIID.
“The suspect is from Denmark. He has been arrested and transferred to the State CID, Panti, for thorough investigation by the Homicide Department.
“The command has also written the embassy on the suspect that police detectives are investigating one of their nationals,” he said.
Two brothers identified as Ubong Ekpe, a Managing Director of Skye Bank, Abak Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and Francis, his brother have according to reports drowned at the Ibeno Beach in the state.
It’s being reported that the men had gone to the beach to attend a friend’s birthday party on Sunday when the sad incident occurred.
Ubong is survived by a wife and 4 kids.
This comes days after it was reported that a final year Chemical Engineering student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun state died after he drowned in a pool of a hotel in the state.
According to multiple reports, the 400-level student identified as Oladipupo Ayooluwa aka Pells, who was supposed to turn a year older on the 22nd of April, drowned at Soltrag hotel, Agbara, while hanging out with friends.
The body of the deceased has long been deposited at the morgue.

Censors Board wants next edition of BBNaija held in Nigeria
The National Film and Video Censors Board has said Nigeria has what it takes to host Big Brother Naija in the country.
According to Punch, Executive Director of the Censors Board, Adedayo Thomas, made this known in an interview.
Thomas complained that the show makes “a lot of money” from Nigerians, and so should be produced in the country.
He said:
If it is Big Brother Africa, they can host that anywhere; but the one for Nigeria should be hosted in Nigeria.
Nigeria has what it takes to host the show; after all, there are many multinational/telecommunication companies hitherto operating hitch-free in the country.
If the organisers are talking about lack of available infrastructure as an excuse, then how is MTN operating successfully 24/7 in this same country?
If MTN, a similar South African company, has been surviving in this country, then I don’t think anybody has an excuse for not hosting BBNaija in Nigeria.
They are making a lot of money from Nigerians here, so, we want them to host it here.
He also addressed the issue of the show airing adult content. It’s rated 18, he said, and parents should restrict their kids from watching it.
He said:
A couple of the scenes are adult content and that is where parental guidance comes in.
Parents can always block the watching of some scenes within a particular period or in totality.
It is not government’s responsibility to assume the parental roles of moral upbringing of children in their homes.
A South African pastor has led his congregation to tears after he allegedly turned water to petrol during one of their services – one Prophet Jacob is currently trending online after it was revealed that he made water turn to petrol in his Church.
According to a post shared on Facebook, the pastor had asked his members to bring bottles of water to church and asked those who believed that he could turned to waters to petrol, to come forward to altar so he could perform the miracle.
After praying ‘militantly’ and ‘instantly’, the colour and the smell of the water changed to petrol and this led the congregation to tears.

A Nigerian man has been left bewildered and in total shock after discovering the chat his wife had with a married man – this said man upon discovering the chats, then took screenshots of it and shared it online.
As can be read from the chats, the woman belittles her husband and says she wondered what she sees in him in the first place they got her married to him – and as can also be seen, she has two children for him.

Kannywood Actress, Ummi Ibrahim Zee-Zee has revealed in an interview with DAILY NIGERIAN how dating Rivers born Timaya is her greatest regret in life.
The actress who used to be a household name in the Kannywood movie industry for having featured in many blockbuster films also revealed other things about her personal life and career.
Kannywood was your window to the world but when you stopped acting, you hardly relate to Hausa film artists. Why?
It is true. But my policy is if you properly invite me for a marriage ceremony or any social outing I will honour it, but honestly, for now, I don’t have even female friends (kawaye). As for acting, haba! Zee-Zee has crossed the bridge. How much are you going to pay me for a role?
Who is your role model in Hausa film?
Well, late Aisha Dan-Kano was my favorite and late Rabilu Musa Dan-Ibro, we respected each other a lot. May Allah forgive their sins.
Tell us the most valuable accolade you have ever received
The award I won for featuring in a film called ‘Jinsi’. I got my nickname ‘Zee-Zee’ from the film because I was a character named: ‘Zee-Zee’ which Fati Washa was the lead actress. People were asking whether it was my film. It was not my film and the cars used in the film too were not mine. My cars used to have’ Zee-Zee’ as their special plate number. But of recent I use security cars that have no numbers.
You are most often spotted flaunting your long hair. Is it one of your selling points?
It is not true. Though you know I am shuwa/kanuri we have long hair and I am proud to display them but not always. Yet, I am a religious person. I read the Qur’an and Hadith and I try as much as possible to keep to the tenets of the religion. That is why if I am to come to this world again I want to still come as Ummi Ibrahim, a Muslim, a Nigerian.
What do your friends say about it?
I don’t even keep friends, male or female. I had boyfriend when I was in Kannywood before my controversial relationship with Timaya. But all is now history. I have found a love of my life now.
People say your riches are fake, what is the truth?
Wallahi, I am so rich that if somebody dashes me some millions I would not be as excited as one may think. I have enough money in the bank. Like you confirmed with my personal Assistant. I bought houses and cars for all my staff.
What is your favourite dish?
As a Kanuri lady, I like Tuwon Biski, fried meat and chicken. As for cooking, no I don’t cook. I have plenty staff around me that do that for me, so I don’t cook.
Any regrets in life?
Sometimes ago somebody was quoted as saying that I left Islam and converted to another religion because of my relationship with Timaya. I found it very difficult to believe. It was very much baseless and a mere allegation to tarnish my image. In fact in my entire life that is an incident I am finding it difficult to forget. I am a religious person. I love Islam and whenever I am free I read Hadith of the Holy Prophet a lot.
Any plan to settle down in the nearest future?
Honestly, I want to settle down before the year runs out and I am praying hard for that to happen. As you know, I have a person in mind and God knows best what is in stock for both of us.

They harrased a certain man identified as Immanuel James Ibe-Anyanwu whom they wanted to extort money from.
Immanuel then took to Facebook to notify the public of the situation he was going through, this led to the police coming to the scene to rescue him.
Immanuel’s Facebook post which notified the public:
”I was accosted by SARS officers are Ago-Palace, Okota, opposite Zenith Bank. They humiliated me and accused me of being a fraudster. Checked my documents and found nothing, and then said I should follow them back to my office in Ikoyi to confirm my claims. People intervened. I called the PPRO of Lagos State and he asked to speak with them. They took the phone and seized it. They are still holding my documents. Later one called me aside and asked me to go arrange money. I asked for my phone to let me make a transfer to my ATM account and he gave me. I took the phone and card and went into the bank and have gone into hiding here. I’m updating from my hiding place. They are waiting for me by my car. Phone battery down. Please share”.

IMMANUEL JAMES STORY, OUR REACTION. …..
Today 9th of April, 2018, at about 2pm, one Ekene Okoro placed a call to the- office of the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State (PPRO) and reported that his cousin, Immanuel James was being harassed by policemen alleged to be SARS operatives at Ago-Palace way , Okota, opposite a Zenith bank branch at Ago-Palace way.
Sequel to the above, a team of policemen from the Command X-Squad section, led by ASP. Musa Shuaibu was dispatched to intervene in the matter.
However, on sighting the X-Squad personnel the erring Police officers hurriedly left the scene in a manner suggestive that they were on illegal duty.
Going forward, the CP Lagos directed the officer in charge of the X-Squad section to fish out the police men within 2 hours and that directive has been actualized with the identification of the policemen involved. They were led in that inglorious duty by one Inspector Jude Akhoyemta attached to FSARS Ikeja. The general public is hereby informed that the CP has ordered for their arrest and as soon as that is done, the public would be communicated as usual.

Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has undergone a successful surgery on his ruptured quadriceps tendon in the UK.
He suffered the injury during Shanghai Shenhua’s Asian Champions League game against Kashima Antlers which ended in 2-2.
A Shanghai Shenhua’s Instagram account posted a picture of Martins’ on the bed with his right leg heavily strapped.
“Martins had a successful surgery in the UK,” the account wrote. The message and photo were also posted on Twitter on Sunday.
The injury rules Martins out of a possible call-up to the Super Eagles for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in June as he will be out for up to seven months.
Martins scored four goals in seven games in all competitions in the new Chinese season before he got injured.
Super Eagles Striker Obafemi Martins has undergone a successful surgery on his ruptured quadriceps tendon in the United Kingdom.
Martins suffered the injury during Shanghai Shenhua’s Asian Champions League game against Kashima Antlers which ended 2-2.

Sex tapes are indecent materials under both Islam and Christianity and indulging in their viewing is certainly a sin. Allah equally hates this just as Yahweh does, and if you watch it, you are going straight to hell (Jahannam).
This is why I don’t bother with religion and religious folks anymore because almost everyone is heading to hell—and I am told there is a special worse hell for the hypocrite religious folks.

Esther Oyema has broken a record in the ongoing 2018 Commonwealth games.
The record was broken in the women’s light power lifting category.
The ladies in the event were way on a different levelas they challenged each other for gold.
In the end it took a World Record from Esther Oyema to separate them both as Lucy Ejike settled for Silver.
The GOLD rush continued for Nigeria in the Para Powerlifting event on Tuesday as Ndidi Nwosu, dominated the women’s Heavyweight category at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, winning the country’s 3rd GOLD medal of the competition.
Team Nigeria also bagged a third GOLD medal in a space of 3hrs as Ndidi Nwosu clinched GOLD in women’s Heavyweight with a lift of 120kg.
Liz Anjorin converts to Islam, bags Islamic Chieftaincy title
Liz Anjorin abandoned Christianity for Islam a while back, after some Pastors refused to perform burial ceremony for her mom.
She has now been conferred with an Islamic chieftaincy title by an Islamic group headed by Lagos-based cleric, Shiek Olanrewaju Alufilani.
She will now be known by her Islamic title,Borokini Adini.
The Nollywood actress who converted to Islam in 2013 said she is experiencing true love from her newly found faith than when she was a non-practicing Christian.

Prt 1….My journey into ISLAM. ..
On the 8th of January 2012. I called my uncle, Baba Lanre…please, come and help me give my mum her food stuffs, drugs and monthly allowance. There will be strike tomorrow. My uncle left. At exactly 12:30 pm that same day, Baba Lanre called. “Solape, Eganmidogo. Mama ti ku oo”. I laughed and end the call. He called back again. “Didn’t you hear what I said? Mama ti ku. Infact she had fish in her hand and her mouth. Then I realised what has hit me, I picked my car key and rushed down to where she was. That was the day I realised that if any child decide to be a bad child you will face your shame alone..because where you are suppose to spend money ti o ba ri owo yo that shame can ruin you ….hmmm. But meanwhile, two days before that day. My able Speaker of Lagos State Hon. Mudashir Obasa was an Honourable Member before he became the Speaker. I use to drop any of my goods in his office. I don’t know if he took out of the goods or not…kokanmi. I know Egbon will pay for the goods. Once I spoil my mouth and say Egbon Mi, patronise me don’t let me be jobless. He will just say oya drop it ..atimes I will drop over size palm slippers ..he will say Lizzy this slippers is to big ….I will say Egbon Mi, please give it to your Ward members ??. Hon. called me that faithful Friday. He said, “Lizzy where are you? Come and collect your money. There will be strike on Monday or do you have any money that will sustain you during the strike”? Pt 2…gave 10k extra. I knelt down and prayed for him and left. It was part of that money I sent to Mama as part of her monthly allowance. So, when they called me that Mama is no more. I rush to were I kept the remaining money and some little change I kept under the bed and pillow, packed everything and rushed down to where she was. On getting there, I met Mama sleeping all by herself. Her whole body has changed. I called her several times, Mama did not answer. I saw some notes under her pillow. My mother has been taking notes of all the things I’ve been sending to her and how I’ve been taking care of her since when I was young up till that very day. She wrote something at the end of one the notes. “Anytime she die, nobody should take her to the Mortuary.” @ iya enny we both saw the note abi and I could remember right from when I was a teenager, my mother used to tell me that she does not want her dead body to be taking to the Mortuary when she dies. She doesn’t like the Mortuary atall. When I remembered and I realised that strike is starting the next day, Walahi I was cold and scared. I immediately stood up and said…..please, is there any nurse to inject Mama? Their response was that, all the nurses have all gone home due to the strike that is going to hold tomorrow. Is there any Mortuary around this area? Ahhh, ani gbogbo won ti losi ile won. Then I realised that baba nla set up le leyi o…..She meant what she said that she doesn’t like Mortuary. I stood up and said to everybody. I will bury my mother tonight. Some people were murmuring. Where is the money? How? Of course, my mother was born into a Muslim family but we sleep in church several times during the struggles so we are automatically Christians. While on the sick bed, she still attend Church Service.
So, please call me Mama Pastor. They called almost 10 Pastors, once they look at Mama’s face. She is not our member. I was mad at everything and it almost turned into riot. someone confronted one of the Pastor. “..#OlnyIfTheDeadCanbeGiving2ndChance #TakecareofyourparentIfyouHaveOne
Part 3..”You are a bad person. You are always fond of collecting all the money her daughter used to send to Mama. I remember the day this Mama fell down on her way to your Church. I dont know how she sneaked into the Church because she had stroke”. I was very mad. Someone took me to 3 Churches that night, they all said she can’t be buried in their cemetery because she is not a member of their church. Hmmm…nigbayen ni mo mon pe aye leeee. We approached one God sent Pastor. He said, okay, he will help out but (…..) and even the coffin seller tripled his money. He brought the coffin around 2am. Mama was buried around 5am in the morning. But it was an Alfa that did the prayer for my mum. I got a call from someone that told me this shocking story. He said, Madam, all these pastors were called to buy land to use as a cemetery, they all refused. Some of the big churches you see around here don’t have a suitable and good environment to bury their members and the few ones that have cemetery have vowed not to allow anybody except their Church members. He told me many top secrets and I was shocked…my thought was how can we treat ourselves in such a cruel way….religion faaa..Oluwa ma ku suru oo..Then a guy said if Mama were to be a Muslim, they would have buried her before I arrive. It was that day I realised….that if you have money with no good savings or lands. You are a joker. Where you are buried, is where you will rest for ever. You live in High rise buildings and your grand kids can’t locate your tomb. Its awful….I swear. The so called Muslims were all over me and they stood by me. The 8days prayer was done by Muslims. Right there, one of the Alfa called me and said to me I heard you are the only child of Mama. Make sure you go to Hajj, talk to God and pray for your mother. Big thanks to Alhaji Dapo and Alhaji Ayegbami that arranged for my 1st trip to Hajj and Alfa Aremon that taught me some Arabic which I use to pray in Hajj and behold to God be the glory am a living witness. Final Part…I never regret going to Hajj or being identified with Islam but I love my Christian brothers/sisters. Because, they opened their doors for me many times when the hustle was real even till tomorrow. Thanks to everybody that has helped me to be strong. The Actor has been in Nigeria for days now promoting the new movie.

A Nigerian man has allegedly rented out his wife’s room and suddenly relocated her to the parlour.
Feeling cheated, the pained woman identified as Umma Bashir, has since dragged her husband to a sharia court, in Kaduna State over the incident.
It was there she explained how she suddenly came home and saw her property moved out.
She said:
“I returned home from an errand, only to see my bedroom locked and belongings moved to the sitting room.
“When I confronted my husband, he told me that it was his room and that he had the right to do whatever he wished with it.”
Umma mentioned that her two co-wives were living in a two-bedroom apartment each with their children while she was unduly left with one room along with her children.
She has since moved to her parents house pending the period of time the case would be resolved.
The accused said:
“I informed her that I would rent out one of the rooms, to enable me to renovate an apartment I was planning to relocate her to.”
After listening to the couple, the judge Malam Musa Sa’ad said it was the responsibility of the husband to provide shelter for his family, stressing that “in Islam, it is wrong for husband and wife to live in one room with two teenagers.”
