Nollywood actress Ivie Okujaye, who just welcomed her second child is celebrating her 3 years wedding anniversary today.
She shared the news on her Instagram page, gushing about how her husband makes her feel like the dopest girl in the world.
She wrote;

Stephanie Coker was one of the few celebrities who reacted to the melt down of Big Brother Naija housemate Cee-c yesterday.
While some fans were in support of the statements of other celebrities on the Cee-C’s drama, it seems Stephanie wasn’t so lucky.
She was dragged by many of Cee-C’s fans on social media following her tweet about the incident.
Most of them were of the opinion that she should instead pray for her husband who was embroiled in a fraud case and cheating scandal earlier this year.

Airport workers have expressed appreciation to Davido after he paid for their colleague’s surgery.
Davido showed his philanthropic side when he recently funded the expenses of an airport officer medical bills running into millions.
Davido footed the surgery bill of a lady who works at the airport. The bill is believed to be about N15 million.
The colleagues of the lady decided to show appreciation to the singer by carrying placards with inscriptions of his name and statements of his benevolent action.
Davido recorded the scene where all of that was going on and decided to share it on his Insta story.
Pasuma has reacted to yesterday’s outburst from Cee-c to Tobi in the Big Brother Naija House.
He said:
‘I haven’t been paying attention to the Nigeria’s BBNAIJA reality show until recently i started receiving its viral updates which really have been largely filled with unpalatable dramas and misconducts by some of the housemates.
The latest of this is the mindless verbal assault launched by one of the female housemates called CeeC against a male housemate named Tobi’.
“This undesirable behaviour is clearly one of the indications of the collapse of our moral system and the weakness of the family unit as a vital agent of the society with the prime obligation to install values, good conduct and discipline in children from the cradle.
Indeed, I’ve personally taken that as a duty as a parent. It’s always been part of my songs to the society and its expected that parents will take this responsibility with more seriousness.
Though the BBN managers have penalised the erring housemate for her bad conduct, there must be stricter rules to effectively curb this unpleasant acts so as to enable viewers enjoy the real entertainment and instructional purposes of the show’.
Chimamanda Adichie reveals she was sexually assaulted
Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Adichie has revealed that she was sexually assaulted at the age of 17 by a big man in the media in Lagos.
She made this revelation during an address at the just concluded Stockholm Forum for Gender Equality.
Chimamanda told of how she had taken a book of poems she wrote to a “big man in the media” so he could support her in making the book go public, instead, he sexually assaulted her.
She said he was friendly at first and impressed that someone her age had written a book. But the man soon came to her, slipped his hand under her shirt and bra, then squeezed her breast.
She said she was so taken aback that she did nothing for seconds, then she pushed his hand away “gently”.
She said:
I was so taken aback that I did nothing for seconds. Then, I pushed his hand away, but gently, nicely, because I didn’t want to offend him.
Later that day, I broke into a rash on my chest, my neck, my face, as though my body were recoiling, as though my body were saying what my lips had not said.
I felt a deep loathing for that man and for what he did. I felt as if I didn’t matter, as if my body existed merely as a thing to be done with as he wanted. Yet, I told no one about it. And I kept talking to him, being polite, hoping he will help with my book.

Former beauty queen and cosmetologist, Dabota Lawson has come to Big Brother housemate, Cee C’s defense after the Big Brother Naija housemate verbally abused fellow housemate, Tobi, yesterday.
Dabota says Cee C’s action comes from a place of love and hurt and that Tobi seems to be turned on by Cee C’s toxic behavior. She also added that Cee C isn’t the only woman guilty of such behaviour, that women generally have the ability to behave like CeeC depending on the kind of man she’s with.
The mother-of-one wrote on Instagram:

A single mum has revealed she is often mistaken for her 20-year-old son’s girlfriend or sister because she looks so young.
Shimmi Munshi, 41, is the envy of all her friends and family, who believe she has discovered the secret of eternal youth.
She said she’s been accused of having cosmetic surgery and splashing out on fancy skin creams and beauty treatments – but it couldn’t be further from the truth.
Shimmi, from Bolton, said: “As an adult, I’ve always looked young. As my friends began ageing, I seemed to go in the opposite direction, but I’ve no idea why!
“As a teenager, I was one of the taller ones, so if anything, I looked a little older than my friends. But at 5ft 5in, I stopped growing, and I have a very slim, petite frame.
“I feel like the female version of Peter Pan – the girl who never grew up.”
At 20, Shimmi gave birth to Ameen, her only son.
“I was a single mum, juggling work and motherhood, and anyone would think the stress might have started to show,” she admitted.
“Instead, I seemed to stop ageing. I didn’t notice it particularly, but all my friends did.
“They were all moaning that I’d discovered the secret of eternal youth and they wanted me to share it.
“At the school gates, the other mums would ask if I’d had plastic surgery, or if I had spent a fortune on skin creams and beauty treatments.
“And they were gutted to learn I had no secrets. There was no mystery at all to the way I looked.
“I’ve certainly never had cosmetic surgery. And my beauty routine consists of baby wipes and whatever moisturiser is on special offer in the supermarket!”
Despite not buying expensive beauty products, Shimmi said she does take care of herself.
“I drink green tea and I don’t smoke or drink booze,” she explained.
“I’m a member of the local gym and I drink lots of water. But I am no fitness fanatic or beauty queen.
“In fact, I rarely look in the mirror. I don’t actually think about my looks much at all.”
Shimmi’s parents, Siraj and Nooie, are pensioners, yet both look great for their age, so she suspects her youthful looks might be down to lucky genetics.
“If anyone deserves credit, it must be them,” she laughed.
But her looks have at times been a nuisance.
“I’ve been asked for ID buying alcohol so many times and sometimes they just refuse to serve me outright,” she said.
“It’s worth it though to see the look on the shop assistant’s face when I hand over my ID.
“When my son was younger, people we didn’t know presumed we were either brother and sister or a couple.
“We were so close, because I had brought him up on my own, and so there was a special bond between us.
“Anyone who met us would just naturally treat him like he was my boyfriend.
“We went on holiday to Poland, and I had booked an excursion, and the tour guide wouldn’t believe that we were mum and son, he kept insisting we were a couple and Ameen was so embarrassed.
“Another time, in Turkey, the locals thought we were brother and sister.
“At Ameen’s prom night, people thought we were a couple, too. It’s very flattering and it made me giggle but it drove him mad.
“Even at parents’ evening at high school, his teacher said to me, ‘We really would rather see Ameen’s mum.’ She thought I was his sister!
“As a teenager, he didn’t like all the attention.”
Shimmi still gets mistaken for Ameen’s girlfriend. He is now 20 and has got used to the constant comments about his mum’s looks.
“I think he’s finally accepted all the fuss,” she said.
“He still lives at home and we are as close as ever, so it hasn’t affected our relationship at all. He’s training in IT and I’m very proud of him.”
Shimmi’s appearance is made all the more surprising because she suffers from a debilitating disease known as gastroparesis, which makes her vomit up to 60 times a day.
She has spent the last 10 years in and out of hospital – and yet still manages to look the picture of health.
“I might be feeling absolutely rubbish but somehow I still manage to look young,” she said.
“I wish I had some special secret I could share – but the truth is, I’ve no idea how I do it.
“Hopefully my good luck will last into old age and I will be still be looking 30 when I’m 80!”
An office cleaner and a proud mother has had every cause to rejoice after her son was awarded the job she recommended to him at the office she works.
Her son who just completed his NYSC programme got a job she recommended him for at her office – an excited staff of the firm who shared a photo of the office cleaner and her son, wrote;

This comes months after the inspiring story of a mother of two who sells groundnuts just to ensure that her children get educated, went viral.
Grace, a widow who took to selling boiled groundnuts just to make sure that her children are provided for both educationally and generally, says she not only sells groundnuts but also works on people’s farms as a means of raking in extra income.
Speaking to Humans of Abuja, Grace said,
“My name is Grace. Life has not been easy since my husband died. I have two Children and providing for them alone is not really easy. Sometimes I just get tired of everything, but when I think about my children, I’m encouraged to work harder. I sell groundnuts during the day and go to work on people’s farm after. I work hard to train my children in school and I also try to make sure they are well fed and sheltered.”
Cee-C’s sister, has reacted to yesterday’s incident between her sister, CeeC a housemate in the Big Brother Naija House, and Tobi.
Recall CeeC yesterday hurled mean insults at Tobi, calling him unprintable names.. This of course caused Biggie to issue her a strike, and get her removed as the Head of House.

In related news, a 20 year old man arrested by operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command has confessed that his gang use a toy gun to rob stranded motorists around Adeniji Adele end of the Third Mainland Bridge.

I tried making a reaction on this post, I had options to like, love, haha, wow, sad and anger, I was gonna like it anyways but I really loved, it was really so amazing I really needed that wow reaction button but then watching this picture and remembering this memorable day at trig point with Louis Adoh, Mozie Arinze, Valentine Sure Boy Obikwelu, Adoh Lawrence, I also needed that ‘haha’ reaction, reading further into the caption, I had so many reflections and for a second I needed to use the ‘sad’ key.

Daddy Freeze shares five reasons why Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye will not make Heaven after initial reaction to preacher’s tithing statement.
These reasons are revealed in his latest Youtube video titled: ‘Addressing Adeboye’s False Claim That You Won’t Make Heaven if you don’t pay tithe.’
Referring to the preacher’s reference to Mathew 23:23, the leader of the free the sheeple movement says, “I am going to teach you what Mathew 23:23, what the entire book actually says.
And I’m going to show you scripturally why this man can not make heaven.”
Below are his reasons for saying that the RCCG General Overseer will not go to heaven:
1. Leading children astray —
Freeze uses Luke 17:1 -3 as his Biblical reason for why the preacher will not make heaven. It says, “Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. So, watch yourselves.” He adds, “Enoch watch yourself.”
2. Turning Stone to bread —
This time, the controversial figure goes to Matthew 4:3 which says, The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
In his words, “They read their Bible like textbooks but they say I’m the one that reads Bible like text… I read the Bible spiritually and I’ll explain to you.”
After reading the verse, Freeze says, “The stones he was talking about are human beings, not stones. Many times in the Bible stones were actually human beings.
He backs this with several verses adding, “Turning stones to bread is turning human beings to money. If you do this, you can not make Heaven. Stop turning stones to bread. Jesus rejected the temptation, why are Nigerian G. Os falling for this temptation of the devil.”
3. Subjecting people to the curse of the law
Freeze says the third reason is that “he is subjecting people to the curse of the law by telling them to pay tithe. There is not space for tithing in the grace.”
He continues: “Some people will now come and tell you that tithing was before the law. Oh yes, it was before the law but it was also before the promise and everything before the promise is of no consequence to Christianity.
“Our promise with father Abraham started in Genesis 17. In Genesis 16, Abraham had Ishmael. In Genesis 17, when he was 99, Abraham was promised of Issac and his name was changed from Abram to Abraham.
“So, whatever Abraham did as Abram in Genesis 14, when he gave tithe to Melchizedek is of no consequence to Christianity…”
4. He is a teacher of the law
According to Freeze, Mathew 23:13 and verse 15 proves that anyone who teaches the law is not going to heaven.
5. He disobeys Jesus
In Freeze’s words, “He disobeys Jesus and our first pastors and he makes us obey Malachi. Malachi is not a Christian verse. how dare you
Cee-C and Tobi are still trending on Social media right now, after the former verbally attacked the latter, which caused her a strike.
It all began when Tobi said he doesn’t like her anymore as they were about to prepare for their Close-Up task and she started raining insults on him, curse him for gossiping and talking behind her back with other housemates.
She warned him to steer clear from her and her matter because she is completely over him. Meanwhile in all this, Tobi did not utter any abusive word to her. He just kept laughing as she ranted on.
She still called him a f#ck boy, saying he does not have anything to offer a grown woman like her.

Former Jenifa’s Diary star Juliana Olayode aka Toyosi is reportedly making moves to reconcile with her former co-star and boss Funke Akindele the CEO of Scene One productions.
Toyo baby, as she was fondly called on Jenifa’s diary posted something that looked like a hint on her page saying she made moves to call someone she had been wanting to call for a long time.
Juliana’s tweet which ended with #ThanksForPicking, made many believe Funke Akindele might be the one she might be reconciling with. The tweet reads in full;

However, at the end of her post, she added the hashtag, #ThanksForPicking… This had made people believe that the receiver of the call could be her former boss Funke Akindele.
Recall that in a cryptic message in the last days of March, Funke Akindele shared on Instagram, the Jenifa’s Diary star said she would not stop making stars out of individuals even if those she helped do not appreciate it.
According to the CEO of Scene one productions, “only God repays kindness, so expect less from people you have helped.” Although Funke Akindele mentioned no names and didn’t even personalize the message, many pointed fingers at former Jenifa star, Juliana Olayode a.k.a Toyo baby to be the object of Funke’s rants. The actresses have not been able to go back to being friends, since Juliana’s unceremonious departure from the series.
Sources close to the two colleagues, claim that money was the root of their problem. Apparently, Funke Akindele removed Toyo baby from the series because she demanded for more pay a source revealed to TNS. Akindele via her production manager and younger sister Abimbola, pays actors between N3,000 and N150,000 (per episode/season of the show) depending on their role.
Toyo baby’s request did not go down well with Funke, because she felt Toyo was being an ingrate since she rose to fame via her appearance on the Jenifa’s Diary Show.
An unexpected Drama ensued in the Big Brother Naija house earlier today when CeeC in her Tantrum, tongue lashed the hell out of her fellow housemate Tobi which led to many condemning her action on social media.
The cause of the whole issue has now been revealed.
In a bid to carry out the task, former head of house, CeeC shared the housemates into groups but Tobi refused to be in her group.
He told her that he doesn’t want to be in her group, that he doesn’t like her and that she should move on and let them be friends and that got Ceec mad.
But Interestingly Tobi acknowledged the fact that he triggered Cee-C as he got to discuss the drama with Nina.

A final year female Unilag student was arrested on Wednesday, 18th of April after she allegedly stole her boyfriend’s ATM card and used it to buy an iPhon 8 and X on Jumia.
According to trending reports, the lady bought other several items on Jumia too. However, her boyfriend, in collaboration with Jumia, traced the buyer to Unilag’s Moremi Hall where the delivery was made.
That was how the suspect was arrested and handed over to the school’s DSA. An eyewitness said: “It appears, she’s been scamming guys with her friends for a long time.
When the Jumia officials came to the hostel, she hid the phones in a bag and threw them in the dustbin. The girl is actually using an iPhone 7 Plus. However, upon realizing what was happening, the boyfriend demanded that the case be dropped.”

So, it wasn’t just one phone. It was an iPhone x and an iPhone 8.

A Nigerian man was yesterday morning stabbed to death by one of his wives, while he was trying to separate their fight at their home in Dirdeu, Adamawa State.
According to one Abdulrahman Njidda Yebb, who was a witness, Adamu Dewa was stabbed by his first wife of 20 years, Hauwa.
It was gathered that the mother of 5 had always threatened Adamu with death on several occasions, accusing him of favouritism and unequal treatment between her and the second wife.

The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife has suspended one Prof. Akindele allegedly captured in a telephone conversation demanding for sex from a female student in his department.
A member of the committee, who pleaded anonymity confided this to newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday.
He revealed that the committee recommended the suspension of the professor in a report of the committee set up by the university to probe the matter and to authenticate the veracity of the telephone conversation where the lecturer demanded to have sex with the student five times before he would upgrade her mark from 33 to a pass mark.
The member of the committee said, “The committee recommended the indefinite suspension of the professor pending the time the final report will be ready. The committee established a prima facie case against the professor. But note that this is the interim report of the committee.
“The committee invited the professor and the female student. We identified the student and invited her but she did not appear. Only the professor honoured our invitation. I don’t want to tell you what he said on the telephone.”
The committee member said the lady was an MBA regular student and added that the final report would be summited after the lady might have appeared.
However, the Public Relations Officer of the OAU, Mr. Abiodun Olanrewaju, when contacted on the telephone told our correspondent that he would find out to know if the report was ready and get back. But he had yet to do that as of the time of filing this report.
The Vice Chancellor of the OAU, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, had on Sunday told our correspondent that the report of the committee would be ready on Wednesday and that it would be released to the public.
It will be recalled that the the lady had released a telephone conversation she allegedly had with the professor and the lecturer was heard demanding sex with the lady. The lady eventually rejected the condition given during the conversation.
