#BBNaija – Day 69 Recap: Cee-C calls Tobi ‘king of gossip and animal’, Khloe cries over Rico Swavey and more highlights!

BBNaija Recap

BBNaija Recap

Have you been following the new season of Big Brother Naija? Here are some important things you probably missed on day 68.
Check out a recap of day 68, including social media reactions:

Cee-C calls Tobi King of gossip

Cee-C, who has always thought that Tobi talked about her behind her, finally confronted him. She went upstairs to watch him and converse with Anto, and suddenly started calling him the king of gossip.

Cee-C says Anto was her favourite housemate

During their time in the Jacuzzi, Anto, who is aware that Cee-C had poked her hands into eyes on her portrait after her eviction, asked Cee-C what she genuinely thought about her.

She said Anto was her favourite housemate from the first day when she met her on stage.

Nina says she can’t date Miracle outside the house

Nina, who currently has an intimate relationship with Miracle in the #BBNaija house, said she won’t date him outside the house.

She told her fellow housemates that even if her main boyfriend, Collins, rejects her, she would try to win him back, but would remain single instead of be in a relationship with Miracle.

Lolu and Anto discuss their relationship:

Miracle advises Nina to be wise:

Khloe breaks down in tears:

The Sweetheart of The House

Nina received reassurance from her fellow Housemates that she should remain the sweet young woman that she is. This came after she told her Housemates that, apart from losing her boyfriend from outside, Collins, her biggest fear is people criticizing her.

Anto advised her to not change but put a lot of effort in doing things. She added that Nina still has a lot to learn about life, she should improve her listening skills and must always listen to understand instead of rushing to answer.

Like big sisters would do, Khloe emphasized on Anto’s points adding that she never thought she’d like her when they initially met, but her sweet heart has changed how she feels. Khloe continued to let her know that she should know when to draw her commas and full stops as she tends to get carried away.

Friendship That Passed

While the Housemates were enjoying heart to hearts in the Jacuzzi, Cee-C also took the time to let Anto know on how they missed the friendship train. She told her that they could have been friends but Anto’s misconceived perception of her hindered those efforts. Anto agreed with Cee-C and it wasn’t long before Tobilearned that Cee-C blames Anto and Alex for their failed attempt at Love.

Sweet Sarcasm

As always, Khloe gave her own episodes and by the looks of it, she was out to get Tobi. While he and Anto lay comfortably on his bed, Khloe made mention of the fact that Tobi was getting touchy feely with Anto’s canvas worthy backside. While all this wasn’t much of an issue, she let Lolu know about it and he extinguished it calmly, saying he believed that Tobi is a respectful man, sarcastically pushing Tobi back to the other side of the line he’d crossed.

While not all is well that ends well, the Housemates retired and let another day dawn on them. The morning wasn’t all sunshine and blue skies for Rico Swavey, Cee-C and Khloe because due to having missed a session, Lawrence stopped by to force a healthy catch up on them. Maybe that’s just what they needed, pre-Eviction steam blowing.

Winning Niceties

It looks like Big Brother decided to change the narrative just a little bit and took it easy on the Housemates. After weeks of heavily demanding challenges, that’s of course according to the Housemates themselves.

The Winning Bounce

The bouncy course consisted of four kindergarten level challenges; climbing over, through and below inflatable barriers, throwing lasso balls with the aim of suspending them on a pole, placing stickers on air-founded pillars and lastly, kettlebell hopping to the finish line. This was by far the lightest load the Housemates have ever had to carry for the Million Naira piggy bank that was earned by Miracle, compounding his account for the second consecutive time.

The Biggie Benefits

Biggie might have lightened the load in terms of the challenges themselves but he’s certainly been consistent with his post-win niceties. Following last week’s pizza-platters and topping-filled ice creams that the Housemates had been requesting for a while; the man waved his wand once again and made their box office dreams come true.

After a rather dry morning of napping, the Housemates woke up to good news. Miracle’s effort certainly bore good fruit and saw the Housemates enjoying a 2 hour long block blaster movie, Isoken, courtesy of Africa Magic and Tribe 85 productions in the popcorn, donuts and slush decorated Arena. This was another one of the Housemates long overdue requests, so one can imagine the amount of excitement that swept through the House.

Needless to say, it was two hours of pure bliss and unwinding. It definitely pays to win, na so?!

Puzzle No Be Housemate’s Thing

The Housemates have all so far displayed their capabilities and what they’re good at, but for all of them, a puzzle in not their strong point.

Today’s Legend’s puzzle had them locking heads trying to crack how the puzzle should be, and they finished it more than an hour later.

Looking back

The Housemates, on many occasions have failed dismally at completing a puzzle, let alone getting how it should look.

On the Arena games they’ve had puzzles and it has over and over proven that their struggle lies in putting and completing it.

Good Somewhere Else

For example, looking at the Housemates, Alex will never struggle when it comes to dancing and the same can be said about Rico Swavey when it comes to cooking.

Nina and Anto are good at doing other Housemates’ hair and Khloe can never go wrong with applying makeup.

Now the question is; why is it that a puzzles gives them a tough time? Or is it a good strategy for them to kill time?

Vibe Killed

Throughout the afternoon the Housemates seemed to be in good spirits and the party vibe was within them.

The excitement got even better when their party clothes (and in this case pyjamas) came and it was clear that they were ready to hit the dance floor.

However, the mood has since died down since the dragging time it took to complete the two puzzles from Legend Beer.

Hopefully the new pajamas will revive their partying spirit and they’ll dance the night away with DJ Ssnatch.

Burning The Dance Floor

The Legend’s sponsored Saturday night party had the Big Brother Housemates on their toes displaying all sorts of dance moves all thanks to DJ Ssnatch.

The pajamas themed party didn’t cater for any lazy individuals as the choices of songs played by the DJ demanded movement of some sort. However, the Housemates didn’t disappoint and jumped into the prerequisite and obliged.

The Usual Suspect

If you are going to mention ‘rhythm’ in the Big Brother House the name that’s going to follow next is ‘Alex’ as she and dancing are inseparable. She, indeed went out of her way to display incredible dance moves and making it her prerogative to enjoy every moment.

At some point her Housemates looked up to her to show them how certain dance moves were done and she didn’t hesitate.

Up The Tempo

The hotness from the DJ’s compilation had the Housemates sweating and only because the songs were too good and familiar to the Housemates to miss any beat.

The decision from the most ladies not to wear any make up was a smart move from their side which could have been a ruin and a waste of their efforts.

On the contrary, Khloe was the only one who surely put an effort in doing her face, and even though she danced a couple times, she had on and off moments at the party.

Her little corner in the party room accommodated her more than the ground on the dance floor and her unbothered face showed how ready she was to be out of the party.

Joined In Outfits

It would be unfair to mention how good the Housemates looked in their pajamas without pointing out how the in-House couple were the only ones with matching outfits.

Even though the duo hardly danced together, the animal printed, green and silky pajamas signaled couple goals.

“I am a virgin, I am keeping myself for my future wife” — Nigerian Guy

Virgin guy

A Nigerian virgin guy, identified as Ben Smart has declared that he’s ready to keep his virginity till marriage as he’d be a totally loyal and submissive husband to his wife.

Trust Nigerians to bombard him with comments… Some tagged him gay, others tagged him a glorified slave, while the ladies accused him of being a potential woman wrapper.

Virgin guy

Here’s what Ben Smart wrote on his page;

I’m seriously keeping myself for my future wife.

It’s not only women that should not engage in pre-marital sex.

If a man is a virgin before marriage, it will also make sense na.

I’m a good cook, my culinary skills is very splendiferous. My wife will love my food.

I’d know how to always keep the house clean.

I’m not lazy, I can wash my clothes by myself. My wife won’t be suffering to wash my jeans, I will do it all by myself.

I don’t do late night activities nor do I attend parties, I always come back home very early everyday.

I don’t smoke, neither do I drink alcohol. My favorite drink is soda water.

I don’t cheat. I’ve never cheated before in any of my previous relationships.

I’m very loyal and submissive. I’m not a wife beater.

Virgin guy

I’ll always allow my wife to win all the arguments. I’ll pamper her and make sure she’s always happy at all times.

I will always give her money, more money, more more money. I’ll make sure she doesn’t lack money no matter what happens.

She will always have access to my phone and know the passwords to all my social media accounts. I’ll never hide anything from her. From the day that we’ll get married, we’ll always be one body and soul.

She will enjoy me. My future wife!

Bensmart days ago, shared a photo of a girl kneeling down to propose to him, he said he would be very glad if his future wife proposed to him, one could assume he has lost his senses or has he really lost it, what’s ur take?

Tonto Dikeh’s marriage crisis boosted my career — Rosy Meurer

Rosy Meurer

Rosy Meurer interview below:

Background

I am from a ‘well-appointed’ background where I got all I wanted while growing up because my parents were always there for me. My parents laid a good foundation for me. I went to the best school in The Gambia and I had good moral training which prepared me for the future and challenges ahead. As a kid, I loved aircraft and flying. That propelled me to seek to be an air hostess or a pilot. I have always loved travelling and meeting new people. Today, I am neither an air hostess nor a pilot but an actress.

Career

I was in The Gambia when some Nollywood actors came to shoot a movie, and one of the producers came to my mum’s restaurant to eat. When he saw me, he said he liked my looks and invited me to be part of the movie shoot. I was not interested initially but after a few people convinced me, I decided to give it a try. That’s how I got on set and met Desmond Elliot. He advised me to try acting in Nigeria. When he got back to Nigeria, he called me and said Emem Isong had a role for me in her movie. I travelled to Lagos and I starred in my first Nollywood movie titled, Spell Bound, alongside Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Uche Jumbo, Joseph Benjamin and other big actors.

Parents’ reaction

Initially, my mum was sceptical about me acting because I got the invite while I was at her restaurant. Along the line, she supported me.

Movies

Other movies I have acted in are The Get AwayIncredible FatherYoruba DemonTable of MenOur Dirty Little SecretKarmaPhillip and PollycarpPebbles of LoveMy Sister and IOpen MarriageAccidental AffairRed Card, among others. Meanwhile, I produced my first movie in 2017 and it is titled, Therapist Therapy.

Motivation

God is my biggest motivation. He has been the one who decides for me to take the right path. Sometimes, I quote the book of Psalms in the Bible where it says, “I look up to the mountain where cometh my help, my help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth.”

Challenges

Sometimes, it could be challenging trying to adjust totally to a role you have never lived. However, as an actress, you have to live up to expectations. The pressure to be at different locations for different scripts is also a challenge and some directors insist that it’s only you that can reflect the character they desire in a role.

Breakthrough

I regard Spell Bound by Emem Isong as my breakthrough movie. However, the highlight of my career is being called up to feature in the movie, Yoruba Demon, produced by Ay, the comedian.

Tonto Dikeh/Olakunle Churchill

The stones that were thrown at me with intentions to bring me down last year when I was used to cover up a marriage crisis turned around to be in my favour with God on my side. I got more jobs and more money. At first, I was bothered; then I realised that so many other innocent people were used and lied on as well in the same situation. Out of respect for the head of the family and because I and my family have come a long way with him even before I relocated to Nigeria, I decided to let go. I don’t have any relationship with Tonto Dikeh; I only know her to be Mr. Churchill’s ex-wife.

Interests

I am also involved in modeling and real estate. I also do some charity works with Big Church Foundation. If I wasn’t an actress, I would have become a pilot or air hostess.

Fame

The only thing I can say that fame has robbed me of is my freedom. However, as an actress, I love the fact that I get to teach people, through movies, the way of life. Lessons of human existence also help me adjust to different personalities.

Role models

My major influencer is Mr. Olakunle Churchill, the Chairman of Big Church Group. He has been instrumental to how far I have come in my career. My mother is also my role model because I celebrate her personality and I admire her strength and courage as a woman. Contrary to what was reported, I was never a personal assistant to anyone or organisation. I was only unveiled as an ambassador of Big Church Foundation’s Mother and Child Project.

Hobbies

I love travelling, networking, empowering people, listening to music, swimming, carrying out research and interacting with my fans.

Scandals

I feel like everyone is entitled to their opinion. No matter how good you are, people will always talk. Though sometimes, I take note of some of the talks to correct any negative impressions people have.

Relationship

I like to keep my relationship status private. However, I love men who have integrity, are hard-working and have the fear of God. I love someone who is honest, loves hard, tells the worst truth instead of his best lie, loves and respects his parents, loves to cuddle and travel.

Fashion

I love my comfort; so, I go for anything that is comfortable and looks good on me. I love shoes, bags and gold jewellery.

Relaxation

I spend a lot of time with my family. I also love travelling and luxury treats.

“Wind blew cocaine into my handbag,” — American Woman tells Police

American woman

An American woman has blamed a powerful wind for the illicit drugs found in her possession.

Police arrested Kennecia Posey following a stop in Fort Pierce, Florida, on March 21, according to a news report by ABC local affiliate.

The report cited police extract of the case as stating that an officer approached Ms Posey’s car and smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside.

But as the officer searched further, a purse containing cocaine and marijuana in separate bags was found on her lap.

Ms Posey, 26, admitted ownership of the marijuana, but had an interesting excuse for the cocaine.

“I don’t know anything about any cocaine,” she said, according to the report. “It’s a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse.”

Ms Posey was booked into the county jail on one felony count of cocaine possession and a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession, ABC reported. She was later released on bond.

According to various estimates, from 2 to 10 million people were affected by MMM’s activities, loosing up to 3 billion rubles ($52.3m).

In 2003, he was convicted of fraud in Russia. The court recognized 10.454 people as victims of the MMM case. After the release, Mavrodi organized new pyramids, but they did not have such huge consequences.

Satanic witchcraft has taken over Nigeria — MFM’s Olukoya

General Overseer MFM, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has revealed that the greatest conflict Nigerians are facing at the moment is war against satanic witchcraft.

He stated this at the church’s monthly “Power Must Change Hands” conference held at the Prayer City, Ogun State, on Saturday.

According to him, “Anywhere you see any bloodshed or massive death of people it is not terrorism but the work of satanic witchcraft. An evil force is the one behind all those bloodshed.

General Overseer

“Do you expect a sane human being to just slaughter another human being who is still alive when he will even think twice when killing a hen or cow?

“Nigerians need to wake up from their slumber as there is a massive resurgence of witchcraft all over the world. Nigeria is in the era of the great wrath where so many mysterious things have occurred; I mean unexplainable sexual perversion, unavoidable terrorism, emergence of kidnappers who are hungry for blood and terrible accidents.

“I urge all Nigerians to watch and pray and be vigilant as we are in the end time. So many things are happening.”

Cardi B confirms pregnancy, shows off baby bump while performing

HipHop Singer

HipHop singer Cardi B is pregnant.. and this has been confirmed after the flaunted her growing baby bump on Saturday Night Live while performing “Be Careful”.

This will be her first child with her fiancé Offset, who tweeted a message to the rapper shortly after she finished her performance/bump debut, writing, “Cardi and I look forward to our next chapter together.”

HipHop Singer

Meanwhile, Cardi has revealed why she stayed with Offset even after he cheated.

Cardi B says she is not without sin, and it is for this reason she continues to stay with her fiance, Offset.

Recall that the Migos rapper’s cheating scandal with a South African model broke the internet weeks, stirring major conversation. The video made rounds on the internet for days, bringing Cardi a lot of embarrassment, and fans urged her to call off their relationship. But she stayed.

Now, in new interview with Cosmopolitan, she is explaining why she chose not to leave Offset.

“It’s like everybody is coming down my neck like, ‘Why are you not leaving him? You have low self-esteem.’ I don’t have low self-esteem,” she told Cosmopolitan. “I know I look good. This is my life…I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision.”However, she agreed that what Offset did was not right. “It’s not right, what he f–king did—but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.””Everybody got different beliefs and different religions and were raised differently, yet you also supposed to be careful you don’t offend somebody. Everybody gets bothered about everything. Everybody got a f–king opinion about you,” she told the magazine. “If I change myself, then I’m going to lose myself, and I won’t be who makes me happy.”

Davido’s babymama Sophia Momodu flaunts her banging body (photos)

Davido babymama

Davido babymama Sophia Momodu, the delectable mother of Davido’s first Child, is enjoying life, and she lives it to the fullest..

She’s currently in Miami, USA, and the stunner put her banging bod on display.

She rocked a white crop top with matching tights and a denim jacket in the first photo, and rocked an all white Calvin Klein underwear underneath a sheer dress in the second photo.

Davido babymama

Meanwhile, her uncle, Dele Momodu has said beefing Davido was his biggest battle ever.

The magazine publisher made this comment in new chat shared by Limelite TV, and this comes weeks after he made peace with the singer at the 10th edition of ‘Ovation Red Carol’.

“Fighting with David was my biggest battle ever. It was bigger than fighting Abacha because of the blistering popularity of David,” said the Ovation Magazine boss, adding, “He is an extremely popular guy and it was very unfortunate.”

Recall that the family feud began after his cousin Sophie Momodu, who is the mother of the singer’s daughter Imade, got into a custody battle with the singer’s family. The magazine publisher waded in, and for weeks both families splayed their dirty linen on social media.

“When it happened, I tried my best to avoid a collision with the family because I am very close to the family especially because of Senator Ademola Adeleke. So when the baby issue came, I didn’t know about it, if Sophie didn’t tell me she was pregnant, I wouldn’t have known, she was able to hide it perfectly from everyone.”

Two years later, they made peace and now Dele Momodu breathes easy and can talk about it, finally.

My mother checked my virginity every 3 months till I got married — Tope Alabi

Tope Alabi

Tope Alabi, popular Gospel singer speaks with TOFARATI IGE about her childhood, career, marriage, motherhood and other issues

You recently released an album, Yes and Amen. What is its thrust?

The album is full of wholesome praise to God; there are no side attractions. God told me about three years ago that I should make an album that would contain only praise and worship. There are 11 tracks in all. I worked on the album for about two years. God usually gives me the titles for my albums, and also the time to release them.

You often share moral lessons in your songs. How did your upbringing influence that part of you?

Whenever God tells me to record an album, He always tells me how to go about it. A lot of times, He often uses lessons from my childhood to explain what I should do. I was the only girl in the house and I was raised strictly. My mother was a disciplinarian and she brooked no nonsense. There was no room for me to go astray.

Did your mother support your music career?

Yes, she did because she was also a singer. She always sang around the house. She believed that one didn’t have to be immoral simply because she is a singer. Every other member of my family was not pleased with my music career but my mother never took offence. She taught me that a female shouldn’t be too close to men. For example, I was never bathed at the same time with my male siblings. My mother used to check if my virginity was intact every three months interval before I got married; especially whenever I returned from movie locations. When I newly got married to my husband, we went to the National Theatre in Lagos to watch a movie and actors like Yinka Quadri, Ebun Oloyede, among others were there. When they saw my husband, they congratulated him and told him that he had chosen a good and exemplary wife. That made my husband quite happy. My mum was very strict and she never spared the rod. She also showed me a lot of motherly love.

What are some of the lessons your mother taught you that have endured till date?

My mum always taught me to be respectful. She mandated me to always kneel when greeting elderly people and I still do that till date, even for people I am older than.

How often do you get to spend time with your children?

I thank God because He is the one that has raised the children for me. I am very grateful that my children are godly. Even when guys approach my daughter, she tells me about it because she knows that even if she doesn’t tell me, God would reveal it to me. Whenever we are together, I tell them about God. These days, kids have access to information from a lot of places. If God is not involved, they may not turn out well. I have learnt that it is very good to be friendly with your kids so that they can relate well with you. I play a lot with my kids. If children are not shown love in the home, they would seek for it outside.

Tope Alabi and Her Husband

What other childhood ambitions did you have?

I wanted to become a fashion designer. I studied Mass Communication; I also thought that I would end up as a broadcaster or a correspondent. However, I have always loved acting and I joined a theatre group when I was in secondary school. My dream then was to become a star actress.

How did you start recording soundtracks for movies?

I started my entertainment career as an actress and back then, they didn’t do personalised soundtracks for movies. One day, one of my colleagues, Adio Majesta, said I should be able to compose songs for movies. He told me the title of the movie and that was how I started making soundtracks for movies. He believed I could do it because I always sang whenever we were on location and sometimes, I used the incident happening at that particular time to compose songs.

Would you still love to be a movie star?

I still love to act but right now, there is no time for that. I was recently approached to act in a Christian movie but I haven’t been able to go on set because of my busy schedule.

How would you describe your experience as an actress?

I joined the group, Jesters International, in 1983, and I started acting with Papilolo and Aderupoko. There were times that I would be on location for several weeks, yet I wouldn’t be given any role. I used to feel frustrated but I didn’t know that God had another plan for me. Now, I have more fulfillment as a singer. I have the opportunity to minister to people and break yokes. I don’t take all that I am for granted.

When was your breakthrough moment in your career?

I became very popular when I released the album, Ore ti o Common. I didn’t think that people would like the song because it was the ‘cover’ of a makossa hit. The original song didn’t have any moral message but I decided to change it to a gospel song. People really loved and accepted the song. Meanwhile, I had released two albums, Ikoko Dudu and Baba iwo la k’epe, before then but they weren’t successful.

How have you been able to manage your marriage and career so that none suffers?

I have been trying my best and God has been helping me. I work with my husband; so, we are often together. My children have also been wonderful. I always teach them the word of God and they even know how to pray better than me now. My children also critique my ministrations and I learn from them.

Are any of your children following your footsteps in music?

Yes. My first daughter, Ayomikun, is currently studying music in the university. She often tells me a lot of things about the rudiments and intricacies of music. I actually wanted her to study medicine but she chose music. She writes good lyrics and I respect her for that.

Aren’t you disappointed that she chose music over medicine?

I am happy with her choice. I had told God that the children should become whatever He wants them to become; and not just my wish.

You recently built a house in Iju, Lagos. Why didn’t you go to a highbrow area like Lekki?

I believe that God is everywhere. I have always lived in this area and I am comfortable with it. This place where I live is very peaceful and I am sure that if the people in Lekki get to know about it, they would want to move here.

Some people regard gospel singing as a calling. How do you draw the line when charging clients?

Some people had been doing this job before we started. Most churches know that they have to give honourarium. Till date, there are some places we go to minister and do not charge a dime; they would give us whatever they like. However, in some places, they could take us for granted if we don’t tell them what they are required to pay. For about 15 years in my ministry, I didn’t charge anybody. I recently started to do that because I realised that people were taking us for a ride. There was a particular church we went to minister and at the end of the programme, they gave us N300, and the place wasn’t even in Lagos. How am I supposed to share that with my band? There have been lots of experiences like that. This is the only job that I do and I have several responsibilities to cater to.

Why did you decide to start marketing your albums yourselves?

Marketers usually told us that they sold low figures and it was often difficult to get money from them. That was why we decided to set up a structure to sell our albums ourselves. We usually see the CDs everywhere; yet, the marketers would tell us that people are not buying. So far, the experience of selling the albums ourselves has been great.

How would you describe the experience of working with your husband?

I enjoy it. Gentle people (like my husband) are conservative and reserved. I like the way he is because we have opposite characters. I spend and shop a lot but he is someone who believes in saving money. At every point, he knows what he is doing. Gentle people may be stubborn but it usually helps us to achieve certain things. My husband motivates me a lot. Even the people that work with him in the office love him very much. He might be stubborn, but he is not a troublesome person. He is a very lenient person but whenever he is tired of you, nobody can convince him otherwise.

How do you make sure that misunderstandings with your husband at work don’t go home with you?

We often take some of them home. At times, we have misunderstandings on stage. He usually frowns at me whenever I don’t get something right on stage, and sometimes, he communicates with me using the piano. He also doesn’t like it when I talk too much on stage. He often tells me to greet people briefly and go straight to my song delivery. In cases like that, I always apologise first because I like saying sorry.

How do you like to dress?

I like to look good. You shouldn’t say that because you are a Christian, you wouldn’t look good; things have to be balanced. I like to wear good outfits, and they don’t have to be so expensive. My father was a tailor and I know how to design clothes. Sometimes, I sketch the attire I want and give it to the tailor to make it.

How do you unwind?

Sometimes, my husband and I travel to be alone together for some days. During that time, I would sleep well and go for massages. I also love to watch movies and play table tennis.

How Alizee was killed by her Danish Husband — Sister Reveals

Alizee Danish Husband

Alizee Danish Husband

Details have emerged how a Danish citizen, Peter Nielsen allegedly killed his Nigerian wife, Zainab Ali-Nielsen, popularly known as Alizee and her 4-year-old daughter, Petra in Lagos.

According to the late singer’s sister, younger sister, Madaki Gift in an interview with NewsGuru, Gift attested that she heard the victim screaming for help before she was killed.

She said, ‘My name is Madaki Gift I am Zainab’s sister, the late Zainab who died. It just happened over night when she finished preparing the food for her husband.

“The housemaid went to her room and I was the last person to leave the kitchen. So after a while , there was a fight between both of them and she was just shouting “Help Help!!

“I woke my junior sister up asking her if she heard any noise, later I saw the man hitting her head on the floor.

“I tried to help but he locked everywhere, there was no way for me to run and call people to come and help.

“This was around 4am In the morning, by the time we got there later in the morning she was dead.”

Following the arrest of Peter, the bodies of Alizee and her daughter have been deposited at a mortuary. The Kogi-born singer was reportedly signed to an Asian record label, Petra Entertainment in 2017.

It was learnt that the record deal package included a brand new Ford explorer, a house in Banana Island and international distribution with affiliates of her record company in Asia.

Meanwhile, the late singer’s record label has issued a statement urging the Nigerian Immigration Service to be on the alert.

The statement partly read, “Petra Entertainment Limited has received with shock news of the sudden demise of our artist Nielsen Zainab Joy (Aged 29) and her daughter Nielsen Petra (Aged 4) at their Banana Island, Lagos home on the 5th of April 2018.

“The late Nielsen Zainab Joy (also known as Alizee) was a Nigerian citizen married to Nielsen Peter Schau a Danish citizen resident in Nigeria.”

“While we exercise restraint in making public comments on the circumstances surrounding the demise of Alizee and her daughter, – in order not to prejudices on-going police investigations – it has become important to correct some misinformation presently circulating in the media space.

“We call all law enforcement agencies to speedily unravel the circumstances surrounding the demise of these vibrant Nigerians and bring all complicit persons and/or entities to justice.

“In the light of reports suggesting that Alizee’s husband may be under police investigation in connection with these painful deaths, we particularly call on the Nigerian immigration Services to remain vigilant at this time and urge the cooperation of all foreign missions in the country.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the relatives of the late Zainab and Petra.”

Before her death, the singer had been scheduled for the ‘Kingmaker Concert,’ a musical event to be headlined by Alterplate Music Company artiste, Harrysong.

A native of Kogi State, Nigeria, she was set to promote her January 2018-released single, ‘Alhaji Musa’, before the alleged murder.

Man kills his only child to please his second wife

Thompson Agena

47-year-old Thompson Agena from Nasarawa State, has been arrested for the murder of his six year old daughter and only child, Mercy.

According to Sun newspaper, Thompson killed his own child on the request of his lover whom he wanted to marry as a second wife.

The suspect who is a carpenter, had gotten married to his first wife, Cecilia in 2005 with whom he had their first child, Mercy in 2011. They waited for many years before Cecilia conceived for the second child in 2015. Sadly, Cecilia died during child birth in April 2016. She bled to death after giving birth to a baby boy.

”I got one of my younger sisters to help her at home when she returns back, and I painted the house in bright colours. I did all I could to make sure that it was comfortable for my wife and our new baby. At the hospital, Cecilia had a prolonged labour, finally giving birth to a 4.6kg baby boy, but she continued bleeding, suffering a postpartum hemorrhage, and at 1:23 am, had died of blood loss” Thompson said

A few days after she passed on, the little boy also died. A devasted Thompson buried the little boy in his village and continued with his life, taking care of their daughter Cecilia.

A year after his wife’s death, Thompson enrolled for a part-time diploma programme at the Nasarawa State Polytechnic where he met Joy Orkuma, a native of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State. They fell in love, and soon after, she became pregnant for him. When he asked her to marry him, Joy said the only condition would be if he eliminates his daughter, Cecilia. Joy accused Mercy of being a witch and that she might kill her baby after she gives birth. Joy told Thompson that Cecilia usually appears to her in her dream whenever she sleeps over at his house.

Thompson carried out the dastard act on February 22nd.

While she was sleeping, Thompson carried his six year old daughter and dumped her in a well. His dastard act was discovered by one of their neighbors.

Upon his arrest, Thompson said he regrets doing Joy’s bidding. He attributed his heinous action to an overpowering love for Joy and the fear of losing her and the pregnancy she had for him.

When contact, Joy who is currently on the run, sounded unrepentant. She said she only told Thompson to take his daughter away since she cannot live in the same house with her. According to her, what Thompson did was the best.

“I told him that if I must marry him, Mercy will have to leave,” she asserted, “[because] she always appear in my dreams each time I pass a night in her father’s house. So when I became pregnant for him, I told him that I can’t deliver a baby in the house for Mercy to kill.” she said

In the meantime, one of Thompson’s brothers, David Agena, said his elder brother was not the biological father of late Mercy. According to David, the late Cecilia Agena was two months pregnant when she married Thompson. He alleged that while they were dating, Cecilia was seeing two ther men and that when she got pregnant, she forced it on Thompson who took responsibility because he loved her.

“We all knew what happened, but that is a long story. I don’t want to talk about that now. No sane human being will kill his daughter because of a girlfriend, [I mean] how can you do a thing like that? Cecilia was a nice woman, godly and hard working; she loved her husband so much, in fact, they both love themselves. I don’t know what came over him.

“About three guys, including my elder brother, were dating Cecilia and when she got pregnant. It was confusing who actually was responsible. But she insisted it was my elder brother, who out of love, accepted it and got married to her. Later, we heard that he was not the one. So, there was that problem. But, my elder brother and his late wife were the best of friends. There is no reason for him to do what he has done because of a woman.” David said

Thompson is currently in police custody and will be arraigned in court for murder.

Seyi Law daughter, Tiwaloluwa wowed audience at an event in Dublin.

Seyi Law daughter

Seyi Law and his daughter were able to wow the audience in their performance and it all looks like the celebrity is already preparing her for the show business.

From the clip, the proud father was seen asking Tiwa various questions ranging from the name of her country, to the name of the governor of Lagos State, and Tiwa answered correctly, triggering hearty cheers from the audience.

This is the first time the comedian would be spotted performing with Tiwa and in a chat with Saturday Beats, he revealed that the questions were not rehearsed.

Seyi Law daughter

He said:

No, we did not rehearse before I brought her on stage. It was only the audience that was shocked by her brilliant responses, I was not.

“She has been taught a lot from school and those were part of what she was taught. I have always put her in front of the camera and so she didn’t have stage fright.

“I try as much as possible to build her confidence as I suffered serious inferiority complex growing up.”

Speaking on how he was able to rid himself of inferiority complex, the humour merchant simply said,

I had to study more and learn to get involved in discussions more intelligently. I would say my intelligence helped me.”

The show displayed by Seyi Law and his daughter was not however welcome by some Nigerians.

They took to social media to condemn him for exposing the young girl unduly.

While responding to the critics, the comedian said:

It is their problem because I didn’t help their parents train them, so they should allow me to train mine. When I need their opinions I would ask. For now, it is not needed.”

Suya Meat Making: You’d think twice before eating Suya meat after seeing these photos

Suya meat

Suya meat making is disgusting

A Facebook user has shared the deplorable condition of where Suya meats are being prepared.. and the environment looks dirty and beyond unhygienic..

According to the Facebook user, you’d think twice before approaching that Aboki to buy a soothing spicy cow meat.

The dirty environment and poor or zero hygiene conditions in which Suya is made and handled in many places in Nigeria, has called for a great concern.

Suya meat

Meanwhile, the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, has warned Nigerians against the consumption of some popular delicacies like Suya is dangerous to the health.

According to the Minister, other forms of meat including Kilishi (spicy dried cow meat) and Ngwo-Ngwo, (assorted meat pepper soup) also lead to the death of many Nigerians as they cause hypertension leading cardiovascular disease in Nigeria and can result in stroke if untreated.

Many Nigerians, however, do not agree with Prof. Adewole as they see the consumption of such delicacies as a must and most times, they come quite cheap.

Pastor TB Joshua delivers two lesbian partners in his Church (video)

Pastor TB Joshua

Pastor TB Joshua, has made news again after a video of him performing a deliverance session on two lesbians surfaced online.

Joshua delivered the women who were lesbians partners and had attended his church during a programme.

Pastor TB Joshua

After prophesying into their lives, the homosexual urge in them vanished.

Speaking to his congregation after the deliverance, the pastor urged everyone to embrace the ladies saying what they need hate is the sin, not the women.

“God hates sin, not sinners. When I say, ‘Do not judge so that you will not be judged’, I mean we should hate sin, not the sinner because sinners can change. If you have killed a sinner by judging him, there will be no opportunity for change.

Sinners can be delivered. We should hate the act, not the people because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the ‘spirit beings’ that cause all these acts. “The Bible is my standard. If my parents were one, I would not have been given birth to.

Those that are asking this question – if your parents were one, you would not have been given birth to. You that are reading me – if your parents were one, you would not be reading this today.” – T.B. Joshua

Nollywood Actress, Eucharia Anunobi speaks on finding love again

Eucharia Anunobi

Actress Eucharia Anunobi who lost her son has opened up that she is still ready to love any time God gives the go-ahead.

Actress Eucharia Anunobi

In a chat with Saturday Beats, the actress while trying to hold back tears explained how she has been coping without her son who she always referred to as her best friend.

Eucharia Anunobi said:

“I do not know how I have been coping but I wake up and tell God that I know he has been keeping me.

“If I want to begin to think about how I have been holding up, I don’t think I would be able to say anything.

“God has said that we should not walk by sight but by faith so I am not looking at the event that surrounds me or had surrounded me.

“If I begin to look at them or think about them, like Peter in the Bible, I would begin to sink as I walk on water. So I do not want to think about the events around me.

“I just know that God is the author of everything and he is the one that I look up to.

“I know that he knows all about the pain I am going through.”

She said when her son died, for a split second, her faith was shaken but God spoke to her in the midst of her sadness.

If I say that it was not the plan of the devil to shake my faith, then I would be lying.

“I know that being a healing minister and an apostle, it was all a plan of the devil to test me.

“I would say for a split second while I held my son who died in my hands, I asked, ‘where is God?’ at that moment but in less than two seconds, he answered me and said that in the midst of the storm, I am here, don’t worry.

“I always tell people that the amount of God that you swallow before the day of adversity is what keeps you during the adversity because surely the adversity would come.

“I guess if people say I am standing strong, I give God the glory.”

Despite all her ordeals the actress believe that light will surely overpower darkness. It is just a matter of time:

To keep myself happy I read the work of God. I pray and I am also schooling.

“I am involved in a lot of work, I am very busy. I am open to love but at the right time.

“God who is the author and finisher of my faith has great plans for me.

“Why not? I am open to love. There is no one who has been created and would say that they do not want a partner, so why not?

“I pray for a partner and I know my partner would come at God’s appointed time.

“Why not, I am open. I love reading and cooking; I also love cleaning and washing.

“I love driving as well despite the Lagos traffic. I love taking care of people and giving out things,” Anunobi said.

When asked how she would feel if she gets pregnant again, she laughed and simply said:

You are going too far with your questions but if my partner comes and I get pregnant again, we would give glory to God.

Nigerian Rapper Ill Bliss talks about how he coped for 8 years in a childless marriage

Nigerian rapper Ill Bliss

Nigerian rapper Ill Bliss, has opened up on how he was able to cope for eight years without having a child.

The rapper welcomed his new daughter recently where he spoke about this for the first time.

Speaking with Saturday Beat, the rapper described himself as a ‘testimony’.

He mentioned the eight years of waiting for the fruit of the womb was one of the toughest periods for him and his wife.

Nigerian rapper Ill Bliss

In his words;

“It was the most trying time of our lives as a couple, but we never had doubts about having a baby. We were only concerned about when we would have the baby. We waited, kept praying and stayed focused.

I don’t know where I got the strength from, to be honest. I see couples that are under pressure to have a child after six months of marriage and they are worried. I waited for eight years and some months. My daughter turned nine months old this week.

It is awesome and amazing to watch her grow. I am a testimony of God’s goodness. If God could do it for me after eight years, he can do it for anyone looking for a child. The experience brought me closer to God,” he said.

The rapper also mentioned that he was lucky that he didn’t face any pressure from his parents and in-laws but that it occasionally occurred to him that he had no child.

“I am very lucky with the kind of parents and in-laws I have. They all supported us and kept praying for us. They kept advising us never to panic, that the kids were coming, so there was no pressure from their side.

Naturally, as a person, I sometimes fell under that pressure that I was not a father yet but a lot of people did not even know my situation because I was always around children. I have relatives who have kids and I was always playing with their children because we are one big happy family. Everybody just kept praying till it happened. Nobody knew I did not have a child for eight years.”

Nigerian activist downs a bowl of rice and lizard meat (Photos)

Nigerian activist

Nigerian activist Che Oyinatumba took to his Facebook page to share photos of an interesting meal he had.

The meal was so exceptional that he couldn’t help but acknowledge the blessings of Africa.

We can’t say if it’s recession that has gotten the best of this gentleman or if this indeed is a dish enjoyed by people of his town, but we can say it’s a cuisine we’re not brave enough to try anything time soon.

Though he calls it Abakiliki rice, we’re okay with it cause it has ‘rice’ in it, but what we’re overly stunned at is his ‘encouragement’ for his Abakiliki rice… Exotic, ladies & gentlemen, take note… “Exotic” Lizard is what is his ‘encouragement’ for this meal.

He literally has a Lizard, which looks roasted btw, in his plate! What a real wawu… He captioned the photos:

A bowl of Abakiliki rice, served with exotic lizard meat and washed down with nkwu ocha!!
Africa is blessed!!!
