Former first lady of Rivers state, Eberechi Wike suggests body part amputation for those guilty of defil!ng minors (VIDEO)

Former first lady of Rivers State and a judge of the Rivers State High Court, Eberechi Wike, has called for a drastic measure to combat the rising cases of defilement of minors.

Mrs. Wike made her statement during the 2nd National Conference of Family Court Judges, Magistrates, and other Family Court Practitioners held in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Expressing her concern, Mrs. Wike argued that the current punishment for offenders is not severe enough to serve as a deterrent.

She proposed the amputation of body parts used in the act of defilement as a potential solution to curb the menace.

The judge emphasized that implementing legislation to amputate the finger, mouth, or private parts of the offenders would make them think twice before committing such heinous crimes.

“We should do much more. I think we should do something that will be really drastic, that will make them think twice before they do that.

I cannot think of anything better than having legislation that whatever part of your body you use on a child while defiling the child, that part should be cut off.

If it is your finger, if it is your mouth, if it is your private part. I think men will take it more seriously when you come up with such legislation.

“I hope a man in the house of reps or senate sponsors a bill like that.”  Mrs wike stated

The suggestion made by the former first lady and esteemed judge has sparked discussions and garnered attention from various quarters.

While some have commended her for advocating stronger measures to protect minors, others have expressed concerns about the practicality and implications of such legislation.

The issue of child defilement remains a pressing concern in Nigeria, with cases often going unreported or facing inadequate legal consequences.

Photos of Justina Otuene, a 300-level Biochemistry student at the University of Port Harcourt, who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, have been shared online.

The tragic news of Justina’s untimely death came to light when her boyfriend, Collins, a 400-level student studying Oil and Gas at the same institution, was caught attempting to dispose of her body.

Collins was apprehended by the estate’s security personnel while trying to dispose of her corpse after hacking her to death and extracting her eyes and breasts.

This horrific event occurred at his apartment on Road 15, NTA Road, Port Harcourt.

After the security guard raised an alarm about his shocking discovery, people stromed the suspect’s apartment, where they found Justina’s body parts in sacks, dripping with blood.

Internet users have praised an Indian man after he welcomed his daughter who recently got divorced from a toxic marriage, with a grand party.

The man who identified as Prem Gupta and his daughter Sakshi Gupta, went live on Facebook page to share the news.

Sakshi Gupta got married to an engineer Sachin Kumar, in April 2022, but soon begin to suffer abuse from him and his families.

For months, she tried to find a solution to the issue but couldn’t, she then reached out to her dad disclosing her plight to him.

Her Dad however stood by her and supported her decision to end the marriage defying the odds of divorce that’s been considered a taboo in the country.

Her Dad then organized a ‘baraat’ for her arrival which was accompanied with drums and fireworks and a large crowd who walked behind her cheering.

Prem Gupta, attached a caption that read “When a daughter’s marriage is done with great pomp and show, she must be brought back home with respect and honor if things go wrong, because daughters are very precious” to the video.

He later disclosed that Sachin Kumar and his family abused his daughter on several occasions throwing her out of her matrimonial home at a point.

After being married to Kumar for a year, Saski discovered that he had been married twice before but hid it from her and anytime she tried to make the marriage work, the molestation from him and his family heightens.

Netizens have hailed her dad showering him with sweet names and dropping positive terms like “Father of the century” comments on his page.

His video has since sparked a wave of positive comments from netizens, lauding the father and wishing the daughter well.

Nigerian man allegedly deceived into donating kidney over $20million promise, left abandoned by former boss (VIDEO)

In a shocking revelation, Nwoko Eric, a 42-year-old man, has come forward to share his distressing ordeal after allegedly being deceived by his former boss into donating one of his kidneys to the boss’s younger brother, only to be abandoned after the transplant.

The incident, which took place in Lagos, Nigeria, has left Eric in a dire state while his boss’s brother enjoys good health.

According to Eric, in 2018, his boss, who was out of the country at the time, entrusted him with the responsibility of driving his ailing brother to Saint Nicolas Hospital for dialysis.

When the boss returned, he expressed gratitude to Eric for his assistance and informed him that his brother’s kidney had failed, posing a grave risk to his life.

Seizing the opportunity, the boss made an astonishing proposition: he asked Eric if he would be willing to donate one of his kidneys.

Under the guise of a prayer, the boss allegedly applied a mysterious substance on Eric’s head and made grand promises.

He offered Eric a staggering sum of 20 million dollars, a house in America, and connections to wealthy individuals. Overwhelmed with excitement, Eric agreed.

Following numerous medical tests that confirmed their kidney compatibility, Eric underwent the operation.

However, since the transplant, he claims to have received no further medical treatment or the promised compensation.

He told me that he would give me 20million dollars , buy a house for me in America and connect me to his rich friend in America where I would be driving big cars. I was excited.

“Thereafter, he called his brother to inform him that I had agreed to donate one of my kidneys to him. They took me to the hospital , I did many tests and the doctors said my kidney matched his brother’s.

“I was admitted for three days and on the agreed day, the operation was done. They gave me some medicine. But since 2018 till date, I have not been receiving treatment. 

Instead, his boss instructed him to resume work at the office, with a nominal monthly salary and warnings of deductions for health-related absences.

A week after my boss rented an apartment for me, he directed me to resume work in the office, and that I would be paid N70,000 a month. He warned that anytime I failed to come to work over health issues , he would deduct N30,000 from my salary. Even when I complained that I was weak, he would shout at me, saying I could survive with one kidney.

Eric, now frail and desperate, has reached out to his mother for help, who pleads for the boss to fulfill his promises and provide her son with the necessary medical assistance.

At the moment, my son cannot walk . He needs medical help. He has lost so much weight . I am only requesting that Mr Steve should help my son survive like his brother. Yes , we are poor, but I believe the AIG will help us get justice”, she said.

According to Tony Dania, the victim’s counsel, during the victim’s stay at Saint Nicholas Hospital, his boss’s younger sister, identified as Deborah, pretended to be his wife.

After a surgery performed by Dr. Gbagboye on December 22, 2018, the boss, Steve, arranged for an apartment for the victim and instructed him to stay away from the family.

A concerned individual took them to Zone 2 Police Command, where the police were informed and instructed to arrest Steve.

Dania emphasized that this case should serve as a precedent, as organ sales are illegal and criminal. He argued that Deborah’s act of signing as the victim’s wife was forgery, and the victim’s consent, obtained without proper understanding, should not be valid.

Dania stressed the importance of obtaining a donor’s consent for any surgery and claimed that the victim was deceived into signing the consent documents without being aware of their contents.

Legal counsel for Eric reveals that the victim’s boss has been arrested and is under interrogation.

A Canadian man has revealed on X what he experienced living in a shared apartment with a female flat mate.

The tweep with handle, @jvckmartin posted pictures of dirty dishes and sink filled with dirty water on the platform with the caption “I really lived with this for 2 years.”

When fellow tweeps queried him why he did not talk to his flat mate about it or better still exit the apartment, he replied that he once asked her to clean up the mold growing from the food and she replied him with ‘you’re not my Dad‘

Adding that “ppl berating me for not leaving like 1 year wasn’t on a lease agreement and I did not have 3-4K to drop on a new place with first and last months rent in Toronto of all places lmaoo.”

He also said that every time he pleaded with her to clean up and she does not, he would cry while cleaning her mess up.

Pastor Adegoke Jeremiah, the pastor of popular Ekiti chef, Damilola Adeparusi, better known as Chef Dammy, has finally broken his silence after he was accused of trying to harm her.

Recall that Dammy expressed her concern for her life a few days ago and asked that her pastor be held accountable for the bullying and threats she was experiencing.

Reacting to the allegations, Prophet Adegoke sued Chef Dammy for N20 million naira in damages for defamation of character.

According to his lawyers, the prophet received messages from not less than 2 million people around the world, expressing their shock at the slanderous statements.

The statement issued read, in part:

“Our client is a renowned and respectable man of God whom God has been using to uplift and minister to the lives of so many people including you. He has built his name and reputation over the years and would not fold his hands while you drag his name through the mud/mire.
Our dient has been inundated with several calls and messages from no fewer than two million people across the world expressing shock and awe with the defamatory statements you posted which is an imputation of crime against our client which has reduced him to nothing by those that accord him with so much respect.
In view of the incalculable damage you have done to the good reputation of our client, we demand for a retraction of the libellous statement on all the social media particularly your Instagram page and two (2) widely read national dailies.
Additionally, we are demanding for a sum of (Twenty Million Naira Only)
N20,000,000:00 being Damages for the act of Defamation against our client.
TAKE NOTICE that you have seven (7) days from the date of service of this letter on you, the date of service inclusive to comply with our demand.
Fallure of which we shall not hesitate to seek a redress in the court of law.
Please accept the assurances of our professional regards.”

Controversial media personality, Blessing CEO, also known as Blessing Okoro, has accused singer Davido of failing to pay the balance of the brand new Toyota Venza he gifted to his personal logistics manager, Israel DMW, in 2022.

She made this allegation while criticizing Very Dark Man over his recent interview with Micee, an associate of the late singer Mohbad.

In the interview, Micee accused the singer’s wife, Wunmi, of various misdeeds, including alleged sexual relations with his female manager and someone else in the Marlian Music house.

The interview didn’t sit well with Blessing CEO and she urged Very Dark Man to let Wunmi mourn her husband in peace.

She also criticized him for remaining silent about the recent controversy surrounding Davido, who was accused of owing people millions of naira, despite always jumping on celebrity gists.

According to Blessing, Very Dark Man has refrained from addressing the debt saga because Davido invited him to Lagos, paid for a luxurious hotel room, and hung out with him.

Blessing further told Very Dark Man to relay the message to Davido about paying the N4.5 million balance for the Toyota Venza he gifted to Israel in January 2022.

The mother of two reportedly obtained this information from her embattled friend and car dealer, IVD, from whom Davido purchased the car.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to accuse his sister of abandonment, alleged mistreatment, and refusing to support him despite her success.

The man, with the Twitter handle @hunklevick, recounted how their parents sponsored his sister’s education before his father’s sad demise. However, after completing her schooling, she failed to take care of him and watched him sleep in uncompleted buildings.

He said he vehemently refused to attend her wedding a few years ago and would never refer to her children as his nephews or nieces. He added that he hasn’t seen her since 2016, despite living in the same city.

Speaking further, he said he doesn’t wish her well in life and will never forgive her in this life or the afterlife.

He shared his traumatizing experience in response to a post stating that first borns are assistant parents because they shoulder the responsibilities of their younger siblings.

Nigerian singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has taken to social media to accuse Burna Boy of stealing his song and sending people to attack him.

The artist claims he has a song called Macabre that hadn’t been released and feels the African Giant stole it for his most recent hits, “City Boy” and “I told you.”

According to Brymo, Burna Boy’s song “Big 7” and Davido’s video featuring people wearing 7s are related to the assault that crossed him, thus they should feel bad about what they did.

Brymo referred to Burna Boy’s unauthorised use of his music as a crime, and he firmly feels that Burna Boy should be held accountable.

Additionally, he said that 2face Idibia, who gave him the precise number of assailants, could verify his story.

Sharing on his Instagram page, he wrote,

Micee, an associate of the deceased singer Mohbad, has alleged that the singer’s wife, Omowunmi Aloba, was having an affair with her late husband’s manager.

Micee made these allegations during an interview session with the controversial commentator, VeryDarkman.

This comes days after Micee took to his Instagram story to rant at length about the ill-treatment Mohbad faced at the hands of his wife while alive.

Recall that a few days ago, Micee went online to accuse Mohbad’s wife of being fetishy and allegedly using jazz to make him do her bidding and prevent him from relating to people.

He alleged that Mohbad once caught her with a fetish ring and threatened to expose my details about her if she confronted him.

In his interview, Micee confirmed in an interview that the late Mohbad got into an argument with a manager called Tunde after the latter made an offensive comment about how his wife controls him. This made him decide to confront the aforementioned person face-to-face at Marlian’s residence.

In addition, he said that Mohbad’s lesbian manager was having an affair with Mohbad’s wife, and the singer had video proof, which an associate of theirs verified.

“Mohbad went to Marlian’s house; he and his manager, Tunde had an argument when he told Mohbad, ‘I am not the type that is controlled by his wife.’ They are trying to hide stuff, I don’t want to mention names. There’s one of their associates, an old manager, he said Mohbad had videos and showed them; the manager would send videos of her having stuff with his wife,” he said in part.

Nigerian singer and member of defunct-music group Plantashun Boiz, Blackface has revealed that he cannot allow his daughter to date someone like singer, Rema.

In a recent interview on the Honest Bunch podcast, Blackface stated that Rema had no morals and that what he said was a reflection of what was in his heart.

Policeman allegedly bɘats 60-Year-Old elderly woman to coma in Delta State (VIDEO)

A shocking incident has unfolded in Delta State, as a policeman serving with the Enerhen Police Division in Uvwie Local Government Area is accused of attacking and beating a 60-year-old woman, Monica Anyamah, to the point of unconsciousness.

The victim is currently receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

According to Alexandria, the victim’s daughter, the incident occurred on Saturday in Agbarho community.

The officer responsible for the alleged assault has been identified simply as Bobby. Reports suggest that Bobby detained her mother at the Agbarho Division in Ughelli North Local Government Area.

Alexandria revealed that her mother, who suffers from hypertension and diabetes, was denied access to her medication during her detention.

She further claimed that Bobby not only targeted her mother but also assaulted and injured her father.

The gravity of the situation became apparent when her mother  began experiencing seizures after being struck on the head by the officer. Alexandria has passionately called for justice, appealing to Nigerians for support.

“I need justice for my mother dear Nigerians please,” she said.

The incident unfolded after her mother a primary school teacher and businesswoman, returned home from Effurun market, where she sells second-hand clothes, to discover that her house help, rejoice, had abruptly packed her belongings and fled.

In their quest to locate rejoice, her mother and father visited the residence of Wisdom, the agent who had arranged for the house help.

It was there that they encountered Bobby, who allegedly launched a brutal assault on her mother and injured her husband.

The Delta State Chairman of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), Comrade A.P. Edariese, has condemned the incident, describing it as a case of brutalization. He has called on the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Wale Abass, and other relevant authorities to intervene and ensure justice is served.

While the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, has denied the report, labeling it as false, the Commissioner of Police is yet to respond to inquiries regarding the incident.

The community anxiously awaits further developments in this distressing case, hoping for a swift resolution and the restoration of justice.

“I am scared for my life” – Skales reveals

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Skales has disclosed that he now lives in continual terror with his family.

He alleged that because agents from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) broke into his residence, he was afraid for his life.

Recall that Skales was falsely accused by the EFCC of being a scammer after calling out the agency for breaking into his home many weeks prior.

Skales stressed that his life is no longer secure in a recent interview with the Terms & Conditions podcast, adding that he has been getting threats ever since he outed himself against the anti-graft agency.

Two-year-old toddler dies after fatal fall from school building in Aba, Abia State

Tragedy struck at Emerald International School in Aba, Abia State, as a two-year-old boy, David Etim Udo, lost his life after falling from the third floor of the school building.

The young child suffered severe head and body injuries as a result of the fall. Despite immediate efforts to save him, David was pronounced dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.

Emerald International School, situated off Crystal Park Road in Aba South local government area, offers a comprehensive educational program from pre-nursery to secondary school levels.

The incident occurred on the evening of October 17, 2023, and David’s father, Mr. Jacob Etim Udo, accompanied by two individuals, arrived at the Ndiegoro Divisional Headquarters to report the tragic accident.

Confirming the incident, the Abia State Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO Maureen Chinaka, expressed deep sorrow.

She shared the sequence of events, stating that David fell from a school building, leading to his untimely demise. The child’s body has been recovered and is scheduled for an autopsy as part of the ongoing investigation.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a comprehensive and discreet inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

PPRO Maureen Chinaka assured the public that a meticulous investigation is underway to uncover the truth and shed light on the unfortunate incident.

Recognizing the concerns and emotions within the community, she urged everyone to remain calm and patient during the inquiry.

“Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Jacob Etim Udo and his family during this profoundly difficult time. We request the public’s cooperation and understanding while the investigation progresses. Medical director sentenced to life imprisonment for defiling wife’s niece (VIDEO)

In a landmark ruling by the Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court, Dr. Olufemi Olaleye, the Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the defilement of his wife’s niece.

The judgment was delivered on Tuesday by Justice Rahman Oshodi, who found the doctor guilty of defilement and sexual penetration of a 15-year-old girl.

The court established beyond reasonable doubt that Dr. Olaleye committed the heinous act, with all the evidence presented corroborating the victim’s testimony.

The charges brought by the Lagos State Government accused the doctor of unlawfully engaging in sexual intercourse with his wife’s niece and sexually assaulting her by penetrating her mouth with his penis.

Dr. Olaleye, who had pleaded not guilty to the charges when arraigned on November 30, 2022, was granted bail during the trial.

However, Justice Oshodi ordered him to surrender his international and British passports, as well as the original documents of his landed property, to the court registrar.

The judge also mandated two sureties, each providing evidence of tax payments to the Lagos State Government over the past three years and possessing landed property within the state.

During the trial, the doctor’s wife, Aderemi Olaleye, testified that her husband had been sexually abusing her niece while she stayed with them.

She revealed that the abuse began in March 2020 and continued until July 2021, with Dr. Olaleye introducing explicit material and engaging in oral sex with the victim.

The conviction of Dr. Olufemi Olaleye sends a strong message that perpetrators of sexual offences will face severe consequences for their actions.

In the video, the reality tv star while responding to a question stated that there is no woman who would say has not had an abortion before.

Her statement did not sit well with the TikToker who was quick to fire back at the reality tv star by asking her to speak for herself alone.

Nigerians have been left in a state of confusion after a video which is currently serving rounds, was shared on X formerly known as Twitter.

The video was shared by a tweep @Dammycream2 with the caption “A proprietress ask her Corp member to kneel down what do we called this.”

In the video, a Corp member is seen kneeling down in her ‘khaki’ while been scolded by the school proprietress for her negligence.

The proprietress speaking in the video said that “By the time we called you, ah mummy I am having this we are mothers we have listening ears we can hear that but after we asked you to go back, you went that your stomach something did not disturb you there you sat down.”

Internet users have since reacted with many wondering what the corps member did to deserve such treatment, while some mentioned that no matter the offences she should not be asked to kneel like a child.

In a shocking turn of events, Reverend Oscar Mukahanana, a prominent figure within the United Methodist Church in Harare, Zimbabwe, has taken his own life following a scandal that rocked the local congregation.

Reverend Mukahanana, who served as the Harare East District Superintendent, was found dead on Friday after an alleged affair with a female youth in the church came to light.

Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances. After his death, some netizens accused his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, of causing his demise.

Videos showing Sam Larry bullying the singer circulated online, sparking public outrage and resulting in the arrest of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, who are currently in police custody.

In a recent video addressing the controversy, Portable alleged that Mohbad’s betrayal led to his death. He also claimed that Naira Marley was not involved in Mohbad’s demise. Instead, he suggested that it was Mohbad’s associates after leaving Marlian Music who were responsible for his death.

Portable emphasized that Naira Marley, who played a significant role in Mohbad’s career, could not have been involved in his death. He went on to pray that God vindicates Naira Marley because he is a helper.
