Nigerians on Twitter have blasted the organizers of the BBNaija show for ascribing wrong votes to Nina during Sunday’s live eviction show.
Recall that Bambam and Teddy A’s eviction came as a shock to viewers, with Nina having the highest vote.
Nina emerged highest with 44.00% votes.
However a check on the votes’ percentages showed that 1. 44 % was missing as the total vote was less than 100%.
Many fans of the show took to the social media to express their displeasure, with some insisting that the organizers were tampering with the housemates’ votes.
Here are some comments:
@gyft : So they even dared reducing Nina’s percentage, too late @bbnaija Nigerians are wiser than you think.
@ moeshamano :I really don’t think our votes matter I just think that BIG brother and his crew decides who stays in the house and who goes..us voting is just them gaining money to pay for their expenses.
@Isamusa_ : Maybe the correct one was 0.44% verify again. rubbish.
@Shelly_rams: you guys are messing up so bad is almost heart breaking to watch. people called you out, now u coming up with this fake ass apology f out of here.
@Pearlyeyez : Y’all are giving people the opportunity to keep doubting your credibility. You need to get your act together. Smh.
@Loladeyoungin: And Steve from Dettol swore the results were authentic Y’all mad.
@Lira2ora : I am starting to question @Deloitte credibility as an auditing firm. The truth is you swapped Teddy A vote for CeCe ”Don’t play the viewers. We are the reason why ur show is relevant. You can’t force CeCe down our throats .She won’t win the show.
@Miskrisa_: A well known firm like @DeloitteSA filled with qualified auditors failed to simply add voting results to ensure that they amount 100%. If the show is faking the results then Deloitte should distance themselves, they are damaging their reputation. This show favours Cece, scripted.
@Temitii : This is madness sha, scrambling to cover your rigging, enjoy your scripted show and while at It, announce your winner next week, stop giving people false hope when it has been a script all along.
@Yink1234 : But computer counted the result at first. I laugh at d stupidity of the organizer. @Ebuka computer don dey make mistake now abi. @DeloitteSA shame on you. @PayPorte.
Muhd_Maryam: This useless people, wait and see you are not going to get more money from us Nigerians, because this shows how you are rigging the votes . nonsense!
Empress_janjan: The thunder that will strike all of you behind this handle. I’m totally here for that O Gun thunder. Rubbish #bbnaija.
@ariyike: I am Nina’s fan but this is arrant nonsense, mistakes on percentage & Ebuka will still ask confirmation question about the result, Smh!this is disastrous. you have proven 2 us that watching your show is like giving scholarship to a goat.
@Divaanabel: You guys are scammers. Because we raised alarm about the 98.56% you are saying Nina got 45.44% liars.
@Temiflex01: There must be a mistake, when you’re busy focusing on how to manipulate cee- c votes to stay in the house because she is related to you. Just wasting my time and resources on this fraud show
Veteran actor, producer, director and founder of the Mount Zion Drama Ministry – Mike Bamiloye, has written on facebook questioning the attitude of some church instrumentalists during church activities.
He asserted that most of them do not see the reason for them to redidicate their lives to Jesus as they rarely come out for ALTAR calls .
Here’s what he wrote below ;
I HAVE A SERIOUS CONCERN
The Church Instrumentalists.
Those Young Men and Boys that play Musical instruments in the Church.
I don’t Understand Many of Them.
I come Across them everywhere I have gone.
As if their Attitudes have been Universally Agreed upon.
You will be Preaching, They will be
Fiddling with Guitar Strings.
You will be Teaching, many of them will be Sleeping or browsing.
Messages of great importance will be blaring out to the Congregation,
They will be using their Keyboard to Confirm what the Preachers are saying.
When Everyone is in sober reflections on the vital message, they will be playing Nollywood mood music.
AND THE ALTAR CALL IS MADE AND PEOPLE ARE COMING OUT FOR SALVATION OR REDEDICATION OF LIFE,
THEY WILL BEGIN TO PLAY:
“I surrender All…”
TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO THE ALTAR.
BUT THEY MOST OF THE TIME DONT SEE THE REASON FOR THEM
TO REDEDICATE THEIR LIVES TO JESUS.
AND THEY RARELY COME OUT FOR ALTAR CALLS.
I am Sorry, Maybe it is Only me that has observed this.
Yesterday, we saw lovers, BamBam and Teddy A get evicted from the Big Brother Naija game.. and it’s been met with mixed reactions.
In the usual fashion, the voting results were released, and we saw Nina take the lead with 44.00%, While Cee-C came second with 24.38% of votes, Teddy A followed with 16.81% of votes, and BamBam the least with 13.37% of votes.
Immediately, viewers called on its organizers and pointed out a lag in the voting results. The total percentage of votes were calculated and it gave a total of 98.56% of votes, as against the usual 100%.
The orgazniers upon seeing this “lag”, immediately took to their social media to apologize of the error, and revealed Nina’s vote was a total of 45.44%.
They wrote: “Dear viewers, An incorrect percentage was published for Nina during tonight’s Eviction show. While we deeply regret this error, we wish to state that the audited and verified percentage for Nina is 45.44% as opposed to 44%. We thank you for your usual support & understanding.”
Did you watch day 63 of the Big Brother Naija 3 reality show?
If you missed it, we’ve got the highlights for you!
..
Anything Can Happen
Last night was one of the most surprising moments of the whole season. BamBam‘s shock Eviction really showed the Housemates that with Big Brother, anything is possible.
Ebuka Fever
Ebuka‘s entrance into the party and then the House was clearly an enormous deal for the Housemates, he injected new life into the party and left a strong impression on all the Housemates who could talk of nothing else after he left. Cee-C, who always talks about Ebuka, seemed so shy around him, barely speaking a word while Lolu and Khloe were acting like they had known the handsome TV host for years.
Cut Up
Obviously BamBam’s Eviction was not expected at all, by any of the Housemates and so it really rang throughout every corner of the House. Nina and Cee-C were extremely relieved at the fact that they had managed to survive but Teddy Awas really torn up. He cried on the bed and expressed his shock to Alex, something that was quite unexpected from the self-proclaimed “Alpha Male“.
Cee-C’s Custom Designs
Another moment that caused a stir last night was Cee-C cutting apart her traditional dress from Payporte. She literally cut the entire skirt of the dress off and made it into a crop-top that she wore with a tight pencil skirt. Many of the Housemates were quite shocked at her behaviur as were the audience. She didn’t seem to care though. She was open about the fact that she didn’t like the dress and she did what she needed to do to feel comfortable in her.
Teddy A’s Disbelief
We could go back as far as our memories allow us to and even then, it would be utterly difficult to find moments where Teddy A and BamBam weren’t joined at the hip. Their relationship and games were so directly aligned that it wouldn’t be completely careless to assume that this was exactly their strategy. Supposing it was, Teddy A has certainly lost a vital part of his focal point and only the time keeper can tell us how it will play out for him going forward.
It’s There, I Just Don’t Show It
Besides the fact that his affection towards Bambam was obvious, he wasn’t exactly the initiator, well at least not often enough because it was clear that BamBam wore hers on her sleeves and riskily bore it all. Having always been open and vocal about his relationship outside the House and how he and BamBam just had a ‘special’ friendship, one would expect some level of disappointment given the circumstances under which BamBam had to let go of her 25 Million Naira dream. However, his reaction was way more than just disappointment.
Can’t Hold Back The Tears
When Ebuka unsealed the envelope and announced BamBam as the unfortunate Evictee, it took a bit of time for Teddy A to react but when he did, it was a sad sight; his first official display of emotion. Although shock replaced the post-party excitement and left the Housemates lubricated on a slippery surface, Teddy A was the one left groundless when he realized that Nina and Cee-C were in fact stronger competition than BamBam was. There’s only a certain amount of disappointment a person can handle and judging by his teary episode, Teddy A had reached his threshold and just couldn’t contain it. Seeing as he’s never had a ‘sore loser’ attitude when he couldn’t quite crack the Challenges Biggie lay before them, losing BamBam seems to be the only loss that mattered to him. That’s what happens when you spend a total of 62 days with someone, and in BamBam’s own words “fall stupidly for them”, only to have them taken away from you.
It might be hard to fathom this especially when one’s faves are at the receiving end of such sour eventualities but as mentioned before, the Big Brother concept strives on twists and plots that bring discomfort to both the Housemates and viewers alike. Teddy A’s game seems to have reached its peak but that doesn’t make an incline impossible.
Khloe’s Way or The Highway
Khloe’s presence in the House has always been felt and even after the Reset, she still manages to rub the other Housemates off the wrong way. Basically, it’s like she never left.
The Dragon’s Den
At first, her demeanor made everyone else think that she’d been redeemed from her old chaotic ways that equated to a her and K.Brule’s premature exits, thanks to their collective strikes. However, it seems as though the dragon had been in hibernation and has woken up because in just a week, Khloe has had more quarrels than some of the other Housemates had since inception.
Owning the Drama
Her return was obviously frowned upon by the Housemates not only based on the fact that she had a bit of a noisy history. Understated? But also because she didn’t stay long enough for them to fathom her strategy and measure just how strong she was in terms of Votes. Her strategy might have been completely overshadowed by all the quarrel and indifference she’d had with the other Housemates pre-return but now, it looks like that is what she’s adopted as a strategy. Having been outside and fully exposed to the public’s perceptions of the different characters and roles in the House; the one that Khloe seems to have picked up from all the BBNaija related frenzy is the fact that people feed on quarrels and misunderstandings; swallowing it whole and forgetting that too much of anything is nauseating.
Friend and Foe
If you thought Cee-C shook the House, then Khloe’s recent outburst with her, Nina, Alex, Teddy A and Tobi has certainly made the foundation complain because the amount of instability went from minimum to over the limit real quick. Her game face seems to be hardening as the fateful finale draws nearer, making her that more likely to hit the drum harder. One trait of hers that can’t be ignored however is the fact that even after ugly brawls and cut-throat confrontations, she manages to bounce back into the others’ good books that they can’t help but hug it out without really hugging it out. You, friend but foe but friend!
Two things. It’s either we’re getting what we see and being fed the real Khloe or she’s adopted a rather messy strategy. Nonetheless, it’s still anyone’s game and if this is what she deems effective, by all means, let her quarrel away.
Anto, In Too Deep
Anto has always had a somewhat ‘I don’t care’ vibe about her and just like BamBam, Teddy A and Rico Swavey, she’s managed to maintain a rather neutral front except when someone pushed way too hard. Right now though, she seems to have come back with a bit of sensitivity. Could this be strategy?
Lolu’s Attempts
For a little while pre-Eviction, Anto and Lolu became completely submerged in the idea of each other, consequently becoming each other’s shadows. Okay, we’ll rephrase. Lolu, although having said that Anto wasn’t the kind of girl he’d usually go for, appeared to have fallen for her and despite her constant shade, he never let any courting opportunities pass him by.
Pre-Eviction Free Masonry
Anto on the other hand seemed to have adopted free masonry and refused to be held down by Lolu’s display of emotion; rolling with whom she pleased, doing what she wanted and with strategy in hand, played her game for the win. There are instances when Anto made it clear that she wasn’t about to make any emotional investments and bluntly told Lolu that he’d need to up his game because she didn’t feel like depositing all her eggs in one basket. Telling him that just as a soccer player would choose the team that offered them the most contractual rewards, she had to analyse and see who had more to offer her. Deep.
Cards on The Table
Being Evicted and finding out that she wasn’t the one holding the winning card, discovering that Lolu was in fact the one dealt a better hand, her ego took a heavy hit. Despite having rejected and curving him silly, she was visibly hurt by the news that Lolu had a ‘person’ outside the House because this meant that he wasn’t being completely sincere about his feelings towards her. This turn of events hit her so had that she couldn’t help but talk about during their dice game. Revealing her disappointment and downright avoiding Lolu for a good while. He tried to talk his way back into her good books but she made it clear that the little confidence she had in him had been thrown out the window.
You’re my Girl
It certainly wasn’t over for him because for the first time, he threw the begging and questioning aside, admitting his mistake and letting her know that besides being the guy that disappointed her, he was still the guy that considered her his girl and all he wanted was his girl back. Whether her reaction was sincere of in line with her strategy, Lolu managed to redeem himself and she was taken. There is some emotion in there after all. Let’s see how it plays out.
Sweet, Bitter & Sweet Again
A week that started out as surreal to the Housemates; waking up to Anto and Khloe’s return to having visitors in the House and the late night eviction of BamBam, has ended well with them winning the wager.
Not much to by because they wagered twenty five percent, the news came as a relief for them but not as much as guys in the House.
Because they lost their turf wars to the guys, the ladies have been ordered to not participate in anything involving the shopping or they will be punished.
Super Eagles Fever
A surprise visit from former Super Eagles players was a pleasant surprise for the Housemates which saw them participating in a game of football in their own back yard.
The rest of the week saw them turning Biggie’s House into an art studio, each trying to come up with a powerful message for their national football heroes.
Each to their own, the arty pieces were well put together and the messages conveyed was unanimously of backing and rallying behind their National team till the end.
Unexpected Visitor
Ebuka’s happy moments with the Housemates were cut short when it was revealed that the visitor he brought came baring bad news, which saw BamBam leaving the House. With Biggie always ready and full of twists the Housemates were left wondering if it could be one of those, an April fool’s joke or just a normal eviction.
Smiles From Turf Wars
The turf wars made it difficult for the Housemates to maneuver freely but at the end it all bore fruit. The Housemates won their wager and shopping will commence as soon as they’re told.
All Hail Teddy A
It has been bad news after the other for Teddy A, whose stay at the Big Brother House has unfortunately come to an end.
Barely a day since his in-House girlfriend, BamBam was told to leave the House, Teddy A has become the latest Housemates to be Evicted from the House.
Looking back from moments when the pair was referred to as ‘BamTeddy’ they have since been joined at the hip and stealing moments from time to time that stimulated couple goals.
The Alpha Male
When Teddy A first burst into the Big Brother Naija scene, he stood out as a well poised individual whom the next person’s presence never seemed to intimidate him, as a result that earned him the ‘alpha male’ term within his social following
Even though Teddy A was readily available to socialise with others, he has been one Housemates that hasn’t been afraid to voice out his concerns. Whether he likes it or not, he’ll straight up let you know what he thinks.
Music and Soul
From the day he entered the House, Teddy A made everyone aware that music is his soul and from time to time he’s give us a glimpse of what he can do behind the microphone.
Like a true entertainer, he hasn’t been one to shy away from the dance floor during the Saturday parties and now he leaves the House with his unsurpassed cocktail mixing skill which the remaining Housemates will to do without.
Reunited Outside
Though Teddy A was never ambiguous about having a partner on the outside and BamBam completely being on the same page with him they will have their final moments together as BamBam just left the Big Brother stage.
All the best to Teddy A, the music scene awaits you as an entertainer.
Teddy A was yesterday evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality TV show on Sunday night, during the eviction show.
Recall, Bamike Olawunmi BamBam, was evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality TV show on Saturday night, immediately after their Night party.
Teddy A and BamBam
Well, Teddy A’s eviction from the Big Brother house has since caused multiple reactions online, even from celebrities like Don Jazzy, Iyanya and Bisola Aiyeola…
Iyanya, who rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa, took to micro-blogging website, Twitter and wrote;
“Yooooo @iamteddya #Biko hit me up once you get into Gidi. Make we enter studio cook banger! #AlphaMale #BBNajia #TMC #BeTheMovement”
Bisola Aiyeola, who was the first runnner up of last year’s Big Brother Naija reacted to the tweet, indicating her willingness to feature in the song.
She wrote;
“Bruv @Iyanya, I need to be that studio with you and @iamteddya. Let’s do this! #BBNaija #AlphaMale #TMC #BeTheMovement”
Below are new photos of Teddy A after her eviction from the house.
Anthony Joshua is on track to becoming boxing’s first billionaire – but his family in Nigeria live in poverty.
Ring superstar Anthony Joshua, 28, is believed to have raked in £13million for fighting Joseph Parker last night, which he won on points via a unanimous decision.
He has earned at least £30m more from just 19 bouts.
And sponsorship deals have pushed that total to around £100m. Yet the Daily Star Sunday can exclusively reveal that Joshua’s aunts and uncles on his father’s side are living in deprived conditions compared to their favourite nephew.
Their house – in Sagamu, Ogun State – sits on a dirt street called Akarigbo Road. On each side are rickety buildings, and ramshackle trading stalls stretch into the distance.
An open drainage gulley runs outside the house. The building, home to at least three generations of the Joshua family including great grandad Prince Daniel Adebambo Joshua, is small and has mismatched windows.
But the family are hugely proud of their boy – and have his picture over the front door.
Anthony’s uncle Benjamin Ademola Joshua said: “We feel so happy. We feel so elated. We can’t even express our joy that this sort of thing can come to our family because we are not noisemakers in our family.
“We never knew that we could come to the limelight like that.”
He added: “Anthony’s father comes to Nigeria at least six times in a year. He has got a mighty building in Ijebu-Ode.
“There are many attached to that town. They all have houses there, seven houses in Ijebu-Ode. But the first point of call is the Joshua house here in Sagamu.”
Benjamin revealed that the Olympic gold medallist – who went to school in Nigeria – has been too busy with his boxing to visit Sagamu for 14 years.
He said: “Because Anthony is celebrating now he cannot just leave his domain. Before, he used to come on holidays. When he comes he stays with his grandparents in Ijebu-Ode. He has got a lovely house in Ijebu-Ode.”
Officials in Ogun State plan to rename the local sports stadium after Anthony, along with one of the area’s most famous roads, Cinema Street.
The heavyweight hero is a big believer in helping the underprivileged, and has a track record of supporting charities.
He has funded his old boxing club in Finchley and the GB boxing squad, and even treated his ex-trainer to a £90,000 BMW.
But so far he has not invested in similar projects in Nigeria.
Oba Adewale Osiberu, a relative of Anthony’s mum, said: “People are now showing interest in boxing and we are hoping the world champion will assist the town.”
But Benjamin added: “In our family, we respect each other’s opinion so much. We don’t stampede anybody into taking action. So we will leave that to him.”
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo was pictured on the runway for Kimono Kollection at the ongoing Arise Fashion week in Lagos last night.
Leo who recently opened up on why he was voted out of the Big Brother house, graced the event as he rocked a black Tuxedo…

Recall, Leo Da-Silva recently announced the passing of his mother – RMO Sanni after his exit from the reality TV show.
He took to his Instagram page to share the news as he shared a photo of his late mother with the caption;
“March 18, 2018. The worst day of my life. I lost my mother and I had to bury my mother today according to her Muslim rights. I remember the day of the Big brother auditions, you forced me to go, you said “you can win it for your business”. You said so far I’m myself, they will adore me. You set the pace for my life. You gave me everything.
Today I felt like I could not breathe. Your legacy is that of the greatest woman I have ever known. Rest in peace Alhaja RMO Sanni. Rest in peace legend. Thank you for everything. Till we meet again. ❤❤❤
Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this ordeal. I’m sorry I couldn’t pick calls.”
Nigerian singer, Iyanya took to Twitter to reveal his plan for Teddy A.
Teddy A is the latest housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality TV show.
Iyanya (real names Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk) who rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa, and is best known for his hit single “Kukere” wrote;

BamBam, Cee-C, Nina and Teddy A were the housemates nominated for eviction this week and two out of these four have left the Big Brother house!
Following their nominations, viewers were left to vote for their favourite housemates and apparently, BamBam and Teddy A were the housemates with the least votes which led to their eviction from the house.
Here’s how the viewers voted…
BamBam came the least with the total of 14.81% while her love interest, Teddy A followed in the least with 16.81%.
Cee-C gave a good gap as she came second place with a total of 24.38% while Nina had the highest votes with a total of 44.00%.
With three weeks left in the game, viewers have been left with a tough choice on who’s going to emerge as the winner of the Big Brother Naija game.
Over the past few weeks, bets have been on Miracle to be the winner of the game and judging from the statistics of how viewers vote for him, it’s hard to bet against him.
Even OAP Daddy Freeze called on Biggie to just award Miracle the grand prize of N45million.
Freeze said Biggie should stop wasting viewer’s time and give the 23-year-old pilot the money now.
Below is what he wrote on Twitter ;
“Dear #BBNaija, I have made up my mind. Please give #miracle the money.. anything after this point is a waste of our time.
“@LewisHamilton won the F1 championship before the end of the season… This can be replicated in Big brother.

Pouring out her heart when she was asked about her relationship with her love interest, Teddy A while she was still in the house, newly evicted housemate, BamBam has said she’d be willing to keep things going with the singer after the Big Brother house.
Following her eviction from the house last night when Ebuka paid a visit to the housemates and announced her removal from the house, while speaking with the talk show host earlier tonight, BamBam revealed that she’d ‘genuinely’ like to continue what she and her Teddy A started in the Big Brother house.
She says so long as he’s also down to continue, then she too is also willing to have a relationship with him after the house – this comes after Teddy A, during a conversation with fellow housemate, Rico, revealed that instead of continuing with his babymama, he’d rather start a new life with BamBam.
Teddy, made this revelation while answering Rico’s question of whom he’d rather be with outside the house.
BamBam too had revealed that she knows about Teddy A’s baby mama outside the house.
Bambam said she was helplessly in love with Teddy A, who had in more one occasion talked about his baby-mama.
Bambam, is however optimistic that the other lady is Teddy A’s past while she dreams of occupying his present and future. (Wawu)
Confessing her love for Teddy to fellow housemate, Lolu, last night, Bambam, an upcoming actress, said, “I’m aware Teddy had a lady outside the house.
Big brother Naija housemate, Cee-C got almost everyone talking when she ripped her Payporte cultural dress to a crop top.
Payporte even had to express their displeasure….
Below is Payporte’s reaction:
Her elder sister who is currently handling her social media pages has apologized on her behalf to Payporte and the entire Efik people.
She wrote;
“Since last night it has been all tension following the readjustments Cee-C made to the clothes given her.
It has also been a tough decision to make on what step I should take knowing that this incidence occurred inside the House and Cee-C is not here to speak for herself. But nonetheless I will make a statement on the capacity of her sister.
I want to apologize for the rather unnecessary statement that Cee-C made about the attire given to her by @payporte.
I’m not there with them as all of us here. But from previous happenings, it may seem that the housemates are not adequately informed about their task of modelling these attires for the brands that make them. I guess this is why some of the housemates go ahead to make amendments to them.
It would be more effective if @payporte were to communicate their displeasure to the housemate through their usual communication medium so that Cee-C would make an apology of her own which would be seen as more authentic, genuine and personal than what I have shared here.
That said, I apologize on her behalf and also to the Efik ethnicity who may have been slighted by this. I assure you it has nothing to do with tribe. We love, relate and do business amicably with all tribes and people.
Teddy A has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija House.. and this is no Aprils’ Fool Joke.
This is coming after BamBam was evicted from the game in a shocking Saturday Night Eviction that we all didn’t expect.
This is the end of road for Teddy A….
Big Brother Naija 2018 took a dramatic turn on Saturday when Bambam got evicted from the reality show.
Bambam was evicted after Biggie invited Ebuka and Steve representing Deloitte, a company in charge of Big Brother Naija votes, to the house.
Housemates, who were excited after the Saturday night cultural theme party, were depressed and confused after Bambam was shown the way out of the house.
The housemates expressed different forms of emotions as Bambam got evicted. While some expressed shock, others broke down in tears.
Nina, who could not believe that she was saved, cried until she was consoled even as Anto helped pack Bambam’s bag.
Ex-BBNaija housemate Kbrule has revealed that he and his former strategic partner in the house, Khloe were romantically involved before they got into the BBNaija house.
He stated this during an interview on Channels TV show, Rubbin Mind.
According to Kbrule, the relationship ended after he told Khloe that they should ‘slow down’ a bit but Khloe rather opted for an outright breakup.
Both ex-lovers, however, found themselves together in the big brother house where they had a bittersweet relationship and were later to be paired as strategic partners.
They, however, got disqualified after both housemates where issued 3 strikes for breaking the house rules on using abusive and vulgar words on themselves.
Asked if they was any chance they could get back together if Khloe won the BBNaija 45million grand prize, KBrule screamed ‘Hell No!!!!!!’

One of the thousand reasons I find it hard to give beggars money.. Like the 2 in my area, those guys will be on the floor hammering beans & bread while I pass gently to hustle with empty belle.. With food in their mouth they’ll still be begging smh!
Chai na wa o… why people dey like this na? We dont even know the real beggars on the street anymore

Celebrity Stylist and Payporte’s creative director, Toyin Lawani of Tiannah’s Empire has reacted to the controversial actions by Housemate, Cee-C after she decided to use a scissor to cut out her outfit for her Saturday Night party, which held yesterday.
Recall, Cee-C labeled the dress as “nonsense”, and even “insulted” payporte for giving her such a horrible dress for the party yesterday.
In reaction to this, Payporte’s creative director, Toyin Lawani as reacted, and below is what she wrote;
As the creative Director Of @payporte Everyone expected Cee C’s dress to Be designed by me Via @elegantebytiannah styling as usual, well to everyone tagging that I made the dress and I should feel insulted she cut it, payporte gives other designers the chance to grow and get known,so we do a mix everytime or payporte themselves come up with the looks a times.
Unfortunately I didn’t design that dress, so you can stop the endlessly tagging and secondly I don’t care what the dress looks like,we go with the theme of the party every week to come up with looks for the house mates, you are to wear what you are given, she’s extremely wrong for ripping the teams hardwork apart and disrespecting that tribe like that, she doesn’t even look the part at al ,the dress is not meant to be a fashion accessory,it’s a role which she’s meant to play the part, simple as abc.
It’s a cultural dress for christ sake, she even went ahead saying is “someone that sat down to sew this dress?” wow, someone’s father and mother didn’t sleep at night cause of that dress, does she know the sleepless nights the team @payporte goes through daily, you people just watch the show and enjoy, you don’t know half the stress the team goes through just to make them look the part for the show, then to send it all the way to South Africa again,it’s not even about ripping the dress,it’s her mannerism, The red transformer dress @elegantebytiannah styling sent her previously was selling for 500k at Tiannahsplacempire,we slashed the price down to 115k on payporte platform so more people can buy the dress cheaper, she still didn’t appreciate it and since the beginning of #bbnaija that’s bn her best look so far,she didn’t even Transform the lower part and rock it as an after party dress, like khloe did,so to me I just think it’s her way, she’s just naturally nasty, others Got difficult outfits but they didn’t rip it apart,Alex had issues tying her Gele but she still wore it ,we could have sent her auto Gele but it’s A game don’t forget ,things are not meant to be easy, she Really owes payporte An apology for that mess up she did and from now on i will be sending her only ugly clothes ????? or none atall. #kingofAllQueens ?
British-Nigerian heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua’s wallet is set to become fatter as he is expected to earn between £18million and £20million, after beating New Zealand’s Joseph Parker in the unification fight in Cardiff on Saturday night.
This new paycheck will take Joshua’s gross earnings from three fights to £50 million, according to reports. Joshua will even take home more money if he faces the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion America’s Deontay Wilder, who recently produced a tenth-round stoppage to beat Joe Ortiz.
The mouth watering fight is being scheduled for the last quarter of the year, according to Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn.
The size of Joshua’s paycheck was determined by two factors, his being the home fighter and his being the headline name on the card. Parker is expected to earn £13million, far more than the £1million pocketed by Joshua’s previous opponent, the Cameroonian Carlos Takam. Joshua then pocketed £15million.
Their earnings form a proportion of the revenue from pay-per-view TV sales and sponsorship deals with the bout being shown live on Sky Sports Box Office. Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn recently revealed a world unification bout was provisionally pencilled in for November or December 2018.
“The fight with Anthony Joshua is unquestionably the biggest fight in world boxing and anyone that knows me knows how much I would love to stage a fight like that. “The options are that we go in August in America against someone and then Deontay Wilder, or straight into Wilder. But if we do Wilder it will probably be October, November, December.”
Payporte, the official sponsor of Big Brother Naija reality TV show is not happy with Cee-C for ripping the outfit they gave her on Saturday, however cee-c is also not happy with them.
When fellow housemate Nina asked why she didn’t wear the traditional attire they got her for their weekend party, Cee-C said she looked like a character from ‘The Sound of Music’ movie after trying the dress on.
She said; “Me i know say na calabar outfit be this, i see myself inside, e be like sound of music, me i no fit lie or pretend, i no like this cloth. Me i am an Igbo girl, i am not from calabar.”
Watch Video Below;
Nina asks Cee-C why she didn't wear the dress that it looks a fine dress she could have won. Cee-C says she looked liked a character from 'Sounds of Music". She says Payporte fell her hand. – .#bbnaija#bbnaijafans#doublewahalapic.twitter.com/pjkiIFyeqj
Payporte, reacting to CeeC’s action wrote on its official social media page, “PayPorte is very dis-pleased by the comments made by @ceec_official about the outfit given to her.
“We take out time to style all housemates with respect to the theme of every Saturday party. We consider this a disrespect to our brand and consider this offensive.”
However, Big brother is yet to disclose if any punishment awaits Cee-c’s actions.
Explaining why she tore the outfit, Cee-c told Khloe that she is Igbo not from Akwa Ibom.
“Payporte come and take your cloth! I hope you saw what I did to it.
“Yes I tore it. I am proudly Igbo not from Akwa Ibom,” Cee-c said.

If you missed it, we’ve got the highlights for you!

We’ll Drink to That
Miracle’s win might have been a reason to celebrate for him and his, but his counterparts couldn’t have been happy with his last minute victory. His sudden championing mimicked Lolu’s win last week. While everyone thought the game had ended and could have sworn Miracle had banked the Million, Lolu came, raced and conquered the million. Nina, Tobi and Alex were unsurprisingly the most excited about Miracle’s win.
As per norm, Biggie rewarded the Housemates with a few bottles of liquid courage and had the House buzzing with celebratory wails. While the ladies negotiated their bath prices and prepared themselves for good wash ups, the guys popped bottles and gulped away at their courage.
Thanks to their very intense closet conversation, Anto and Lolu seemed to have found their ‘good’ place as she voluntarily massaged his head and judging by the way he sweetly declared her his girl, Lolu couldn’t have been in better hands. This sudden turn of events had Tobi questioning Anto’s motives and trying to find out what was going on because just a night ago, Anto seemed cozy beside him while Lolu found solace in the bath tub. Khloe caught on to the narrative and offered her unsolicited advice, reminding Tobi just how much Cee-C was into him, in case he’d forgotten.
When everyone was mud free and ready, the Housemates gathered in the kitchen and had a mini feast and enjoyed a game of beer pong. With Khloe’s broken bars for entertainments, the Housemates had a long night ahead of them.
Waking Up Alex’ Way
For the past 62 days, the Housemates have had time to enjoy their sleep on weekends without being woken up by Big Brother’s strange sounding alarm. However, today was a bit different when Alex took the initiative of being the alarm itself.
Much to their amazement, they had no option but to wake up as Alex wasn’t backing down until she got the satisfaction that everyone was awake.
Wakey, Wakey
Known for being unapologetically loud, the pestering of her fellow Housemates wasn’t unexpected of her.
As if banging the spoon against the bowl wasn’t enough, Alex made it a point that she reached each and every individual’s ear as she walked from bed to bed.
Tobi on the other hand didn’t hear the end of it as the pestering from the Shaku Shaku queen continued.
Let’s Talk About It
However, things flipped this morning when Housemates opted to talk about the benefits of the workouts instead of going to the Arena and working out.
Normally, the weekends are all about rest for the Housemates and waking up for their daily workout isn’t something they worry about.
Cee-C, Teddy A and BamBam spoke highly of the workouts Biggie makes them do every day.
With less than four weeks the trio have vowed to keep on exercising, with Teddy A mentioning that if someone becomes a public figure, they should at least make an effort to look good.
Workout, Why Not?
While others were preparing food, Tobi and Alex had their workout moment in the garden. Though unaware of the others’ chat, they unconsciously confirmed that working out is good.
Sugar Rush
The treats from Biggie this afternoon, rewarding Miracle for winning the Arena games, seem to have triggered an already existing hype from Alex.
Anyone looking for peace in the House should basically wait for Alex to go to sleep, which is unlikely any moment from now.
A Sweet Storm
Housemates had a rather slow start of the weekend, and so it came as a delightful surprise when they saw two Ninjas enter the House with huge trays of colorful individual cups that they laid on the coffee table. Biggie had sent them with some very sweet treats to celebrate their victory of the night before.
Earlier today, Alex had taken it upon herself to bang the House out of bed as she walked from room to room beating a metallic spoon against a dish to her peers’ greatest annoyance. At least this unusual alarm-clock left them no other choice than begrudgingly leaving their beds. Yet even after breakfast, Housemates were still lazing around wearing pyjamas. Even Miracle who had won with flying colours had to be dragged out of bed by the feet and escorted by the Ninja to the lounge to unveil his recompense.
The Storm Before the Strike
The sight and smell of the cups of ice-creams, chocolate and all-sugary desserts quickly got Housemates back on their feet as they needed no persuasion to let the sweet storm sweep through their bodies. Judging by the sparkle in their eyes, and satisfaction on their faces, Housemates made no attempt at hiding their sweet tooth. Everyone was happily munching, licking spoons, chewing and making crunchy noises of contentment.
Yet with a sugar high, the chit-chats started again, as if no one seemed to remember that Evictions were just around the corner of the Double Wahala House.
The Super Eagles Fever
In the spirit of connecting with greatness, the Housemates have spent the afternoon making art work and hence showing support to the Nigerian National Football team.
The Super eagles as affectionately known will be representing the country in the upcoming World Cup in June.
Dressed in their Supersport t-shirts the Housemates have really gone out of their way to ensure the message that translates from their pieces are of Nigerian pride.
Papers, Scissors and Paints
In their efforts to conveying a very special message to their fellow countrymen, the Housemates have somehow turned the Big Brother House into an art studio.
Papers, scissors and paintings have been all they concentrated on and even though there’s a party later in the evening, they have made sure that their show of support for the Super Eagles takes priority.
Presentation and Party Mood
It hasn’t been all seriousness in House, the Housemates have taken time out to dance in between their display of creativity, which of course is sparked by the thought of having to enjoy a few cold ones after their work.
What makes it more interesting is the fact that, for the first time, apart from partying with only the DJ, Ebuka will grace them with his presence.
With all the effort that they’ve shown, the outcome of the arty crafts will be interesting to see.
BamBam Evicted!
Last night was full of surprises from Biggie, the euphoria from the Saturday party was quickly turned to pure shock as BamBam landed up getting Evicted.
All Shook Up
Biggie really swicthed things up this evening, but the pinnacle moment of shock came after Ebuka partied with the Housemates and went into the House with them. He then asked them all to sit down in the lounge, all of a sudden the mystery of the special guest was put to rest when Steve, the auditor from Deloitte rang the doorbell. He handed Ebuka the envelope and in an instant it was all over for BamBam. She looked utterly flabberghasted, as did everyone else in the room. It was a sudden and brutal end to her journey in the House.
Teddy in Tears
In true Big Brother fashion, BamBam did not have much time to leave the House and only had a swift moment to say goodbye to her lover in the House. Teddy A and BamBam shared a kiss and said goodbye but after she left he was in pieces. Crying in the bedroom while Alex tried to console him. He kept his sunglasses on but the shock was written all over his face and he was visibly distraught.
BamBam and Teddy A.
Twists
Tonight was just one twist after another, first the party location changed to the Arena, then it was Saxokay absolutely killed it as the live act for the night as opposed to a DJ. Ebuka, looking dapper as ever, came to party with the Housemates and then entered the House. All in all, no one ever could of expected this evening’s events. It was the wildest ride yet!
What did you think of BamBam’s exit from the House?
Controversial Media Personality and covener of the #FreeTheSheeple movement – Daddy Freeze, has shared his thoughts about BBnaija ex-housemate BamBam who was evicted last night .
Daddy Freeze sympathized with BamBam saying that if she had won the N45 Million grand prize, her tithe of N4.5 Million would have appeased the ‘gods’ and as such would not face backlash from the HYPOCRITICAL world alone over her behaviour when she was in the house.
It is no longer news that BamBam fell deeply in love with her fellow housemate Teddy A, and they were later filmed having sex in the toilet.
Daddy Freeze wrote: “BamBam has a lot of explaining to to to her parents and to her church..Especially since she didn’t win the N45 million. Imagine how far N4.5million tithe would have gone to appease the gods. I feel for her, especially since she has to face this hypocritical world, ALONE #BBNaija”
Nigerian singer and model, Papa, has many things that are unique about her. First, at the mention of her name, one expects to see a guy, probably with dreadlocks and some bristling muscles, but Papa is a girl, a delectable one at that.
In a recent interview with Vanguardngr, the Abia State born singer whose real name is Princess Nnochiri gave some insight on her views on love and sexuality.
“My biggest selling point is in my name. I enjoy the controversy my name creates. At the mention of my name everyone expects to see a guy but at the end of the day it turns out to be a sexy girl. Yes, I am sexy and the style of my music and personality is very unique and original,” she said.
Papa also asserted that most men fall in love out of frustration and poverty.
According to her: “Only 10% of Nigerian men truly mean it when they say they are in love. .
Some fall in love out of frustration, poverty, financial insecurity and other benefits, only few people in this country know what true love means.”
Here is the moment Cee-C made a nasty remark about her Payporte dress before she ripped the traditional attire and turned it into a crop top.
In the video footage, Cee-C can be heard saying; “So na person sitdown do this thing?’ before she then used a scissor on the dress and made a crop top out of it.”
The Official Sponsor of the Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show, Payporte was quite displeased with CeeC’s actions over the traditional outfit given to her by the brand.
They wrote: “PayPorte is very dis-pleased by the comments made by @ceec_official about the outfit given to her. We take out time to style all housemates with respect to the theme of every Saturday party. We consider this a disrespect to our brand and consider this offensive.”
The DressThe DressThe dress, vs what she cut it to…
The Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show took a harsh anti-climactic turn for Housemate BamBam as she was evicted even before today’s live show.
It came as a rude shock to some viewers and most notably her lover in the house – Teddy A,as he was seen weeping following her eviction.
This has led to Reno Omokri reacting to the news and he seized the opportunity to troll BamBam for her behaviour in the house.
Reno tweeted ;
Even after having sex in the toilet, she got evicted. That is how satan deceives. Makes you think you can get the whole world if you bow to him. But after bowing, there’s no guarantee that the riches will manifest #RenosNuggets
South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, was recently spotted travelling to Durban in economy class on a Safair flight.
Co-passengers on the flight took photos with the president and shared them on Twitter.
The president’s spokesperson, Khusela Diko told newsmen that intermittently, the president will use the mode of transport which is most practical, convenient and cost effective for his duties.
BBC’s reporter, Stephanie Hegarty on her twitter handle, has thrown a subtle remark at President Buhari while sharing the report about South African president.

Anthony Joshua unified the WBA, IBF and WBO world heavyweight titles as a controlled performance saw him earn a unanimous points win over Joseph Parker at a tense Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
The Briton used his left hand to telling effect throughout an intriguing affair, in which New Zealand’s Parker displayed swift hands, movement and impressive durability.
But his WBO title always looked like it would end up round Joshua’s waist as a significant points gap opened up, with the favourite landing a hard left uppercut in round eight and two stinging left hooks early in the 10th.
Parker tagged his rival to howls of concern in the 11th and he deserves immense respect for becoming the first man to take Joshua to the scorecards, which read 118-110 118-110 119-109.
Bamike Olawunmi BamBam, was yesterday evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality TV show on Saturday night, immediately after their Night party.
Recall, Ebuka last week, announced that a special guest will visit the house, yesterday night, during their party.. and everyone felt it’d be a celebrity.. The housemates when they heard the Elevator Bell thought Wizkid was coming through the elevators.. and BAM! Steve from Deloitte came through.
Steve came through with the voting results of this week.. BamBam had the least amount of votes, and she was as thus, evicted from the show.
Below are new photos of BamBam after her eviction from the house.
Recall, DBanj during Davido’s 30 Billion Concert in Lagos performed with his former label, Mo’Hits records.. and he’s revealed why hep performed with them.
The ‘Kokomaster’ as fondly called refuted rumors that he was paid to perform.
The Mo’Hits crew comprising of Don Jazzy, D’Banj, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, K-Switch, Ikechukwu and D’Prince split in 2012 over several internal disagreements.
Dbanj’s Mananager Frank told Punch, “Let us not get things twisted, not a dime exchanged hands for any reason. The entire performance was not motivated by money at all.
“It was Davido’s initiative, he wanted it to happen at his show so he went for it and he got what he wanted. He spoke to all of the former Mo’Hits crew members individually, they saw his point and they granted his request.
” Davido is a good kid, he spoke to every member of the Mo’Hits crew. He thought about having a Mo’Hits reunion at his show and he got it.
“It was an exciting show and D’banj loved the performance. He wanted the Mo’Hits crew to perform at his show because they were people he looked up to before his career started.
“He made a request and they all agreed that it could be done. Before the performance, everybody was backstage having fun and when they were through with the performance, they all went to the green room and the atmosphere was a lovely one.
“I was there with them and if you had the opportunity to have seen them bond, you would not have even believe that they ever broke up. There was no awkwardness at all. It was the same ambiance that surrounded them when they were still Mo’Hits.”
