Bamike Olawunmi BamBam, was yesterday evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality TV show on Saturday night, immediately after their Night party.
Recall, Ebuka last week, announced that a special guest will visit the house, yesterday night, during their party.. and everyone felt it’d be a celebrity.. The housemates when they heard the Elevator Bell thought Wizkid was coming through the elevators.. and BAM! Steve from Deloitte came through.
Steve came through with the voting results of this week.. BamBam had the least amount of votes, and she was as thus, evicted from the show.

Recall, DBanj during Davido’s 30 Billion Concert in Lagos performed with his former label, Mo’Hits records.. and he’s revealed why hep performed with them.
The ‘Kokomaster’ as fondly called refuted rumors that he was paid to perform.
The Mo’Hits crew comprising of Don Jazzy, D’Banj, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, K-Switch, Ikechukwu and D’Prince split in 2012 over several internal disagreements.
Dbanj’s Mananager Frank told Punch, “Let us not get things twisted, not a dime exchanged hands for any reason. The entire performance was not motivated by money at all.
“It was Davido’s initiative, he wanted it to happen at his show so he went for it and he got what he wanted. He spoke to all of the former Mo’Hits crew members individually, they saw his point and they granted his request.
” Davido is a good kid, he spoke to every member of the Mo’Hits crew. He thought about having a Mo’Hits reunion at his show and he got it.
“It was an exciting show and D’banj loved the performance. He wanted the Mo’Hits crew to perform at his show because they were people he looked up to before his career started.
“He made a request and they all agreed that it could be done. Before the performance, everybody was backstage having fun and when they were through with the performance, they all went to the green room and the atmosphere was a lovely one.
“I was there with them and if you had the opportunity to have seen them bond, you would not have even believe that they ever broke up. There was no awkwardness at all. It was the same ambiance that surrounded them when they were still Mo’Hits.”
Last week, Ebuka made the announcement that he’d be partying with the housemates tonight, during their usual Saturday Night party.. and also, a “Special Guest” will be coming into the house..
….and everything played out today!
Ebuka partied with the housemate, and the Special Guest came in.. But then, it was “Steve” from Deloitte, the logistics company, responsible for the voting results of the show.
Steve came into the house, with the voting results for the week, revealing the housemate with the least number of votes..
Teddy A is currently talking with Rico Swavey, and he’s of the opinion that tonight surprise eviction is a stunt, having that tomorrow is April 1st, April Fool.
While chatting with Rico after BamBam eviction, Teddy A says he can’t believe BamBam is just gone like that, as he cannot believe people love CeeC and Nina more than BamBam… Then he concluded that “They must be blind”

Last week, Ebuka announced that a special guest was coming into the house, after their Saturday Night Party.. and surprisingly, the guest was “Steve” from Deloitte.. and he came in with the name of the housemate with the least amount of vote.

The Oluwo of Iwoland in Osun state, Oba Adbulrasheed Akanbi Saturday made history when he dropped the the title of Oba and declared his resolve to adopt the Emir title popularly known with Northern traditional rulers.
Speaking at the installation and turbarning ceremony of an Islamic scholar, Sheikh Yahquub Abdul-Baaqi Mohammed as first Waziri of Yoruba land, Oba Akanbi said he decided to now bear “Emir of Iwoland” because he wants to emulate the attitudes of northern Emirs.
According to Oluwo, Northern traditional rulers are better behaved than his counterparts from the Southwest saying Yoruba Obas are full of bickering, acrimony and enmities.
He said Yoruba traditional rulers lacks cooperation and expected royal characters saying the Yoruba Obas have been polarized owing to enmities.
Oba Akanbi said until Yoruba Obas come together, shun enmities and backbiting, Hausas would continue to rule Nigeria. “I have decided to officially adopt Emir title today because I want to emulate the attitudes of Northern Emirs. They don’t begrudge themselves like Yoruba Obas. ”
It will surprise you to discover that for the past two years, there has not been meeting of Yoruba traditional rulers just because of enmities. There is nothing strange in adopting Emir title. I am the Emir of Yorubaland,” Oluwo said.
Meanwhile, amid tight security presence, Oba Akanbi installed and turbarned an Islamic scholar, Sheikh Yahquub Abdul-Baaqi Mohammed as first Waziri of Yoruba land. At the well attended ceremony held at the palace of of the traditional ruler in Iwo on Saturday, Islamic scho)lars, Islamic organisations, Imams and Alfas, government functionaries among other notable personalities in the state were present.
The installation of the Waziri was against warning served on Oluwo by the League of Imams and Alfas in Southwest Nigeria, Edo and Delta States asking Oba Akanbi to desist from installing Alhaji Mohammed as the Waziri of the Southwest. In a statement signed by the President, League of lmams and Alfas, Southwest Nigeria, Edo and Delta States, Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere Bello urged Oba Akanbi to limit the title to Iwoland and not to the entire Yorubaland as being purported. ”

A young man has reportedly killed himself after school management discovered he forged deposit slips for their fees.
The second year student at George Benson Christian College of Education in Kalomo district of Southern Province, Zambia was found in a decomposed state in the bush away from the school after committing suicide by taking poisonous particles, according to Zambian Watch.
And sources within Namwianga Mission told Zambian Watch that Samora Hanakamba owes the school about K18,000 in unremitted school fees including that of his girlfriend.
The sources narrated that the deceased forged deposits slips showing school fees for himself and the girlfriend were paid in full when in fact not, and school management discovered recently.
But another version of the story is that the deceased reportedly caught his girlfriend locked in an office with a named unmarried lecturer in the act.
Meanwhile, Southern Province Commissioner of Police, Bonny Kapeso confirmed that Hanakamba was found dead with a bottle of Doom and a rat pesticide.
The police commissioner said the deceased ended his young life after a misunderstanding with College management.

Payrote has quickly responded to her action on their Official Instagram page.. They wrote: “PayPorte is very dis-pleased by the comments made by @ceec_official about the outfit given to her. We take out time to style all housemates with respect to the theme of every Saturday party. We consider this a disrespect to our brand and consider this offensive.”

Founder of Complete Care and Aid Foundation, Hajiya Aisha Wakil, has revealed that Boko Haram insurgency has made sanitary pad unavailable to many women in troubled Borno State.
ThisDay reports that Wakil, popularly called Mama Boko Haram revealed that many women who are now victims of insurgency have resorted to using sand and ashes in place of sanitary pad during their monthly menstrual cycle.
“One of the effects of insurgency is that women and girls are using sand and ashes in place of sanitary pad for their menses and this is unhygienic and unhealthy for women and girls.
Menstrual pad is a luxury for poor women in Borno. Strange as it may sound but poor women and girls in community and IDP camps are still using rags filled with sand, or ashes as an alternative for sanitary napkins during their menstrual period, thus exposing themselves more to vaginal infections.”
Lolu and Anto finally spoke yesterday about their issues.
They were both in the dressing room when Lolu approached Anto again with the issue of him deceiving and breaking her heart/not completely being truthful to her.
Upon her return to the house, Anto revealed that she discovered Lolu has been sending messages out to lady outside the house, when indeed, he told her, there was no one. Flavour has revealed that working and making music with Semah has taught him the virtue of humility.
Flavour had met the talented blind Liberian singer during his visit to Liberia in 2017.
In an Interview with Showtime, singer Flavor revealed that making music with the blind boy has being an humbling experience.

Anto broke down during her diary session recently in an emotional session.
During the conversation with Big Brother, she spoke on the issue of Lolu.
The once evicted housemate who was voted in last Sunday alongside Khloe, found it hard to keep her emotions in check.
Earlier on, Lolu was trying to defend himself by clearing issues with Anto, telling her he chose her over his girlfriend outside of the house.
This happened after Anto found out that Lolu has been sending secret messages to a lover outside the house and confided in Big Brother.
She expressed her intentions of slapping him if they weren’t on a reality TV show.
“Lolu has been sending secret messages to someone in the diary room. I would have slapped Lolu when I saw him. He knows a lot of things about me and I feel I was being led on,” Anto told Big Brother.
Nigerian music icon, Tuface has expressed displeasure at the inability of the President to secure lives of Nigerians against the destructive activities of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen.
Tuface is from Benue state, a state which is known to be one of the flashpoints of the herdsmen/farmers’ clashes.
He told Punch Newspaper that the government was not doing anything about the situation except to always ‘condemn the killings.’
He said:
“The Federal Government is not doing anything at all, nothing has been done and as we speak, the herdsmen can attack anytime anyday.
“They would move on then the Federal Government would condemn the killing; that is all they do, to condemn the killing but nothing is being done.
“I feel terrible when I read about the senseless killings that daily take place in Benue. It is not about my state alone. It happens in other states as well and I sympathise with Nigerians. These people are just being lawless and the law enforcement agencies are doing nothing about it.
“As far as I can see, I have not seen any serious effort to address this issue. Nigerians are tired and angry but because we are peace-loving, that is why Nigeria has not exploded and that is what these men are taking for granted. They know we would not do anything. Their case is like that of a man that keeps stepping on the tail of a tiger; one day he would see the trouble he is looking for,” he said. He also said that he agreed with his state governor, Samuel Ortom, who had urged his people to defend themselves because they cannot continue to sit down while the herdsmen continue to plunge families into sorrow.
“I agree that the people should arm themselves against future attacks because if your people are being killed and the government is not doing anything, you would not sit in one place like a sitting duck. You would have to arm yourself so that you would not fall victim to the attacks again. It is the only logical thing to do,” the singer said.
He further condemned the government for suggesting the idea of amnesty for the members of the Boko Haram. To him, that is an admission of defeat by the government.
“There is something that I do not understand, there are so many Nigerians who have graduated from school and they are finding it difficult to make a living; they are trying to make a positive impact but the government is not helping but it is those who kill and maim their fellow men that the government wants to grant amnesty, it just does not make sense.
“It is a very shameful situation and it means that the government has accepted defeat. They are sending a clear message that they cannot fish out the culprits. It just shows that they have accepted defeat. There is no other logical explanation,” he said.

Chief Newton Agbofodo, the embattled community head of Ekpan, Uvwie Council Area of Delta State, has been sentenced to death.

The Lagos State Police command has released a statement ordering the arrest of a Police officer, Inspector Lawal Murtala who slapped a lady during an altercation at Obalende, Lagos state.
The statement reads;
The attention of the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command has been drawn to a posting in the social media alleging that a police inspector serving in Lagos State Command, slapped a young woman during an argument inside a commercial bus that commuted them from Obalende to Dopemu, along Agege Motor Road, Lagos. In view of the above, the CP Lagos had directed the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Dopemu, CSP Mary Ayim to arrest the Inspector, get the facts of the case and transfer the matter to the Police Provost Department for further investigation. The CP assured that the findings in this case would be made public as usual.

The victim of the assault, Bibi Anne was slapped by the police officer for videoing him after she accused him of oppressing the passengers inside a commercial bus.
She had taken to her IG page to share video evidence of the altercation, she wrote ;
Inspector Lawal Murtala of the Dopemu division Lagos, Nigeria, beat me up today just because i recorded him beating up an innocent man and was dragged to the police station. I was detained for hours, and the video forcefully deleted of which unknowing to them, i had already forwarded one successfully to my sister via WhatsApp. Then my phone was smashed and seized. Imagine going to report an assault by a policeman and i get detained instead saying a policeman can do whatever he likes and that videoing a policeman is an offence. The dpo , a woman was in full support of the policeman, ordered that i get detained saying i wanted to video to post and she will not let that happen. I was detained from 2pm till 7pm. This is INJUSTICE !!! ??
The police who should protect us are the ones victimising is and this should change. It is not just fair. We all should say no to police brutality.

Ige speaking at Goldberg’s ‘Ariya Repete’ Roundtable discourse in Abeokuta, stated that this generation of artists are proud.
He said; “They use English language to speak Yoruba. Like the young man who sang ‘makole marale.’ How do you build house before buying a land?” he asked. Many of them don’t give credit to the original composer of the song they adopt. They just sing it without seeking permission. That’s a copyright infringement. It’s not done in developed societies.
“Till today, Small Doctor didn’t get our permission before and after singing ‘ijó tí m’ojó l’àná, tí wọn n’pariwo, oni nkọ, ola nkọ.’ And many of them are guilty of this.
“That Davido that used Sunny’s lyrics in his song didn’t even get it right and that’s because he didn’t ask for permission. If he did, we would have corrected him. What is ‘Kuluso ewe, agbagba ewe?’
“The line is actually ‘Seleru agbo, agbara agbo’. I know because I co-wrote the song!”
