Media personality, Daddy Freeze has in his usual routine, come for Nigerian pastors – this time around, he says most pastors are into the work of God just because of the money involved.
Freeze says Nigerian pastors left their professions because they can’t earn as much unlike in the ministry.
In a video shared on Youtube, he said,
“There are many fake pastors because of monetization; that pastor who cursed me is an architect, the one at BankyW’s wedding is a doctor.
“Many of them are leaving profitable field because ministry is a more profitable field.
“Monetization has made fake pastors come into two fold, it has made real pastors preach false messages.
“Every doctrine in Nigeria has been monetized, you hear pastors say this year you will find your ‘apollos’
“Apollos in the Bible was increase in word of God not referring to sowing, Matthew 13;7 this verse speaks of seed of faith not money; those that twist this to you are thieves. There’s nothing spiritual about those criticizing me,the only spirituality in them is the ability to twist your brain.
OAP Freeze also countered speaking in tongues in Nigerian Pentecostal churches, describing it as fake. He added,
“Speaking in tongues in Nigeria Pentecostal churches is fake but speaking in tongues is not fake.
“When speaking in tongues, you should speak in languages not in tongues that no one can understand.
1Cor 14:26-28; someone must interpret tongues…There is no speaking in tongues without an interpreter
“Interpretation of tongues is missing in today’s pentecostal churches , if anyone speaks in tongues one or two should speak in tongues one at a time not multitude. That is falsehood
1Cor 14:23 is what pastors used to confuse you, they tell you tongues is an unknown language which carnal mind cannot understand.
Everyone speaking in tongues in the church is false because it is a gift that everyone does not receive.
“I’m a preacher that speaks from history and bible not sentiments like others; that’s why I can’t say God told me to pay titheS like they say.
“I would tell you what God kept in bible not what God told me.”
As the day goes by on social media, Nigerian men continue to prove that they’ve topped their game when it comes to being romantic with their fellow partners.
A Nigerian man, with the name, Tayo Adesokan proposed to his girlfriend, Tolu Sanya 30,000 ft above sea level, on a Medview Flight to Dubai.
Tayo popped the question, and beautifully, Tolu said yes! Enjoy their photos below:
Three Ugandan lesbians are set to be deported from Denmark after Danish authorities rejected their asylum requests citing serious contradictions in their stories, according to RT News.
However, the LGBT community and gay rights activists have criticized their deportation saying they automatically qualified for asylum since they were escaping persecution based on their sexuality.
“Homosexuals risk persecution from other civilians, their families and clan members as well as blackmail and assault. Homosexuals cannot expect police protection if they are attacked, threatened or killed,” said the spokesperson of LGBT Asylum, Hanne Gyberg.
Gyberg told Ritzau News Agency that it is the first time that LGBT Asylum, an international organization fighting for asylum for homosexuals, has faced a deportation of this nature.
“Their sexuality was not considered in the rejections and we believe the Danish authorities should look at the cases again,” Gyberg added.
A lawyer representing one of the Ugandan lesbians has requested the Danish Refugee Appeals Board to appeal the decision on her client’s behalf saying she is an active and a known member of the LGBT community, which makes it dangerous for her to go back to Uganda.
On its part, Denmark’s ruling party, Venstre, has condemned, in general, the deportation of people escaping persecution based on their sexuality.
When people are considered to be persecuted in their home countries because of religion, sexuality or something else, we have a special obligation to protect them, Venstre’s spokesman Jacob Jensen said.
The three Ugandan lesbians moved to Denmark seeking refuge following an upsurge in homophobic attacks in Uganda after the country passed an anti-gay law in 2014.
Although it was later ruled as invalid by the constitutional court of Uganda, the Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality Act of 2014 criminalized any relationships between persons of the same sex.
The act condemned homosexuality saying it was a threat to “legal, religious and traditional family values of the people of Uganda.” It also recommended life imprisonment for gay people.
The aftermath of this law was an unprecedented rise in attacks on members of the LGBT community in Uganda, forcing many of them to flee the country.
Loveth Ekumabo, 25-year-old Libya returnee, has blamed her father’s incestuous behaviour for her decision to flee to Libya, at least, for safety from her father; also in search of greener pasture.
The fate of Edo-born Ms. Ekumabo can best be likened to the character of King Odewale in Ola Rotimi’s “The gods are not to blame”, who was to kill his father in order to marry his own mother.
Her case was jumping from frying pan into fire. She has, in her life, gone through bitterness, especially her stay in faraway Libya, where she underwent forced labour and was made a subject of serial rape.
Ms. Ekumabo, from Uhunwode Local Government Area, is one of the hundreds of Edo indigenes that have been repatriated from Libya. They are currently in the custody of the state government undergoing rehabilitation for effective integration into society.
Aside her traumatic experience during the seven-month sojourn in the North Africa country, pregnant Ms. Ekumabo, may have to live with the pain of not knowing the father of her unborn child.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, she cursed all those who raped her in Libya, including her biological father, whose incestuous action at home, she claimed, was responsible for her present predicament.
Narrating her ordeal, Ms. Ekumabo said her father’s attempted acts of incest, drove her to Libya.
She alleged that the exposure of her father’s attempted incestuous relationship with her resulted into a big family row.
”After I exposed what my father wanted to do to me, fight broke out at home and I had to run away for my safety.
“I went to stay with my friend who introduced me to the man that helped people to Europe.
”I did not have any money, I was made to swear to an oath in a shrine in Benin that I will pay back every kobo when I get to Europe.
”We agreed that I will pay back N200,000. I left Benin for Kano in April, 2017. From Kano we were transported in a Hilux truck through the dessert with no food and water to Agadez in Niger and from there to Tripoli in Libya.
”If you want to cross from Agadez to Tripoli without money you either get raped as a girl or get beaten up as a boy. The agency can also sell you out as slaves to get their money before you are allowed to cross to Tripoli with your new owner.
“I saw dead people; boys being killed; girls raped to death; and people sold as slaves.
“The worst part is that Nigerians are among those Arabs who treat fellow Nigerians badly.
”It was while I was about to cross to Tripoli that four Arab men raped me continuously without stop. After which I was allowed to cross to Tripoli where I discovered that I was pregnant.
”The Church where Nigerians worship in Tripoli advised me to go back to Nigeria since I cannot do any other work here now that I am pregnant.
Sounding confused, Ms. Ekumabo said she did not get any comfort and words of encouragement from her immediate family. Her biological mother forbade her to return home empty handed.
“When I called my family that I was coming back, my mother asked them to tell me to stay back and try my best to cross to Europe.
“But I said to myself that since she was not the one who sent me to Libya, she has no right to tell me to cross to Europe,” she said.
She explained that the Edo State has advised her to keep the pregnancy and has promised to give her accommodation where she will stay and be delivered of the baby.
Her story is not different from that of the hundreds of other Libya returnees, who were recently received by the Governor Godwin Obaseki.
Harrison Okotie, 35, married with two children is one of the returnees with gory stories to tell.

Mr. Okotie, who hails from Ughelli South local government area of Delta, left everything in Benin, where he had lived all his life, before leaving for Libya in search of greener pasture to take care of his family.
He noted that his journey through the desserts without food and water and the inhuman treatment meted on him, made him realise that there is no place like home.
”I will never in my life think of leaving my country again. Whether there is work or no, I will stay here and manage with my family.
”The Nigerians held-up in Garian prisons are well over 4,000. The Libya authorities do not want to release them because they are making money from them.
“They will call you from prison and ask you to call your people in Nigeria to send money for them to release you. Even if you succeed in getting money from Nigeria, they still would not let you go.
“It is a big business. They are not happy that the United Nations and international bodies are helping to deport people to their countries. So they now keep Nigerians in their underground prisons.
He appealed to the federal government, UN and other international bodies to save Nigerians in Garian underground prisons.
He said: “It was a horrible experience. One day a truck that carried 28 people, 15 of them died on the way due to lack of food and water.’’
The story of 34-year-old Josephine Ajabor, also from Delta, is however strange.
She had taken her three- year old son, Thomas, with her to Libya in August.
Ms. Ajabor, a single mother, said she paid N250,000 to her sponsor for herself and her son to Europe en-route Libya.
”I will forever continue to ask my son for forgiveness because of the suffering I subjected him to. No water, no food. But God kept him for me.
“The driver, who took us from Nigerian border, kept giving my son the water he poured into the radiator of the truck until we got to Libya.
”In the prisons they served us food without salt. God just kept my son alive for me and I am so grateful that I am alive to narrate my experience.’’

Sunday Ehiagina, another returnee, squandered his life savings on the trip to Libya.
Mr. Ehiagina, a native of Irrua in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo, said he owned and operated a shoe factory for seven years in Benin.
He had sold the factory, and used the proceeds to undertake a trip to Libya with his 19-year-old pregnant wife, Blessing, to make ‘quick money’
Mr. Ehiagina said: “We paid N600,000 to one Mr John Osaremen, who is now late.
“We also paid another N1.1million to cross to Tripoli but we were taken to kidnapping centre where we spent one month.
”After crossing to Tripoli, we met one prince Ghana and paid him N400,000 to cross to Europe but we waited for another one month at the camp where we were busted by Libya authorities.
“My wife is back, she was in the second batch that came to Nigeria. I am very happy to be back to my country and state.
“But so many people are still trapped inside Garian and Saba prisons. Our dreams to go to Europe turned into dead end for so many of us.”

A YouTube prank went horrifically wrong when the prankster accidentally ‘cemented’ his head inside a microwave and emergency crews had to be called to rescue him.
The YouTuber was trying to make a mould of his head in the bizarre stunt but the Pollyfilla mixture set faster than he expected and he was stuck in there. He would have suffocated had his friends not fed an air tube into his mouth to prevent him from suffocating.
Paramedics were called after his pals tried to free him for 90 minutes at a home in Wolverhampton. Ambulance workers alerted the fire service, and a crew spent an hour trying to free the trickster.
Firefighters found him with the microwave still firmly stuck on his head, in the garage of a house in Fordhouses.
Efforts to rescue him proved abortive at first. In the end, they had to call colleagues from Technical Rescue for specialist advice. The five-man crew then had to use a screwdriver to dislodge the Pollyfilla close to his head, eventually freeing him.
Watch Commander Shaun Dakin, who responded to the incident, said: “As funny as this sounds, this young man could quite easily have suffocated or have been seriously injured. He and a group of friends had mixed seven bags of Polyfilla which they then poured around his head, which was protected by a plastic bag inside the microwave. The oven was being used as a mould, and wasn’t plugged in, but the mixture quickly set hard. By the time we were called, they’d already been trying to free him for an hour and a half.”
Watch Commander Dakin added: “Taking the microwave apart was tricky, because a lot of it was welded. We video-called our Technical Rescue colleagues for advice and eventually managed to get him unstuck. He was very relieved when we removed a large chunk of the Polyfilla with a screwdriver, allowing him to breathe more easily. But we had to be extremely careful with the screwdriver, working so closely to his head. It took us nearly an hour to free him. All of the group involved were very apologetic, but this was clearly a call-out which might have prevented us from helping someone else in genuine, accidental need.”
Popular soft-core actress, Afrocandy have taken to social media to reveal that she’s going back to acting porn, after going broke doing regular jobs.
Recall, the beautiful actress had declared that acting indecent movies is her calling and talent. In a recent chat with Sunday Scoop, she said;
“It is my job and that is what I do for a living. I love acting such movies because that’s what I’m talented in and my fans appreciate it.
I don’t care what anybody says because many of them would still come back to watch the movies and enjoy themselves. I act well and many people love acting with me. I know how to give men a good time and they always come back for more.”
On her teenage children’s reactions to seeing their mum in that manner, she said:
“We live in the US where you can do whatever you like, so long as you don’t break any law and it makes you happy. I don’t watch my movies with my children but I wouldn’t feel bad if they get to watch them. In fact, I’ll love to see their reactions.
I have taken care of them to a point that they can now stand for themselves. I hear some people saying that I went haywire and decided to do this to go against my ex husband. Believe me, that’s not true. I do it simply because I love it. “There’s more to come from me and I can assure you, you’ll be blown away. Afrocandy is here to stay,” she said
She has now taken to her Instagram page to make confessions about going broke while doing regular jobs – and revealed that she’s going back to her “Afrocandy brands.”
She added that she makes private porn videos and that anyone interested can message her privately.
She wrote:
“Sorry Satan it didn’t work out, I’m going back to my Brand! I can’t be Stressing for Nothing damn it! ????”

Some days ago, Nigerian comedian I Go Dye wrote an open letter via Instagram to former vice-president of Nigeria and a 2019 presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubaka, telling him not to use sentimental empathy on the youths to forward his political ambitions.
This was due to the fact that when Atiku resigned form APC two weeks ago, he mentioned that the ruling party APC had forgotten about the Nigerian youths.
Atiku Abubakar has now replied him here’s what he wrote
Dear I Go Dye,
I read your post on Instagram. It was hard to miss it because it was on every major news website. I would like to say that you were mostly right.
The questions you raised in your post are similar to the ones I have been asked by other young people on social media, so I am replying this not just to you as a person, but to all young Nigerians who have asked similar questions.
Firstly, you are right. The Nigerian youth have often been taken for granted, and almost every leader in our history has taken young people for granted.
But it’s important to point how this started?—?for people like me who saw Independence; our leadership was mostly driven by young people.
Then came the coups, and the civil war, and then more coups. Nigeria ended up with a long period of military dictatorship for many decades, in which time; those young leaders aged, but still remained leaders. Fela, Gani, Enahoro, and Beko were young leaders, yet remained leaders until their demise.
That was because of the instability brought on by decades of instability.
By the time we got to 1999, the young people of the day had not been prepared for leadership, because there was no leadership or apprenticeship process under dictatorships.
This is one of the reasons the age of leaders has continued to rise. That was because of the leadership stagnation brought on by decades of political instability. Imagine a school that did not graduate any students for 5 years, by the time the top class finally graduates, you will have a backlog of undergraduates.
Our young people are not to blame; we need to remedy this national failure. Last week, there were local government elections in Akwa Ibom State, with over 60% of the seats won by young people, less than 35 years old.
That’s how progress can be made. Young people need to participate from the grassroots, all the way across board. Appointments are good, but getting elected is even better.
I also understand the issues around funding elections which keep women and young people out, and I will address this in an article I am publishing soon.
I do understand your frustration on the issue, however. I tell people my age that to understand young Nigerians, we need to understand the difference between Nigerian and Naija. Naija embodies the hopes and dreams of young Nigerians, the country they love and long to go home to when they are abroad.
Naija is the country that brings them pride in music, film, comedy, fashion, and technology. It is the country of Wiz Kid, Asa, David O, Tuface, the Olympic bobsled team, Iwobi and Don Jazzy Again.
Nigeria on the other hand, is the country of their parents, the country where leaders are constantly failing them, of Boko Haram, of herdsmen violence, of recessions and joblessness. Our young people need us to make our country live up to the aspirations of Naija by fixing the problems associated with Nigeria.
I think it’s important to address the accusation about my tenure as Vice President, that I did nothing for young people. Firstly, as VP, I can only be judged on the responsibilities I was given. A VP obviously is not the driver of government. For example, you can’t blame Prof Osinbajo for all that is going on with the current government. He can only do what he’s allowed to do.
But let me speak about what you can judge me by, my assigned responsibilities. As VP, I assembled what is arguably the best Economic Team ever in Nigeria. It was made up of young, world class professionals, who came home to work. Some of those professionals are now political leaders, governors and world leaders in their own right.
If you ask what our first task was, coming into government in 1999, it was to bring stability to the economy after decades of military rule. For example, between 1999 and 2003, oil prices then were hovering between $16 and $28 yet we managed to pay up salary arrears from decades back, clear up our national debts and built up foreign reserves. Our GDP grew at the fastest rate we’ve seen since the return to democracy.
You mentioned that I never brought young people into leadership, but my record speaks differently. I have a proven record of bringing young, unknown professionals into service. Many of the professionals and ministers I brought in were in their 30s and early 40s. Some of those young leaders have become governors in their states. I went to the World Bank and met a bright lady, convinced her to come back home, and she became a star in our government. To show you we had effective leadership, the same lady could not replicate her exploits under a different government.
I was also in charge of privatization and I have witnesses that I never interfered with the process. I never bought anything belonging to the government. I was quite wealthy before coming into government, with declared assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars in 1999 (which was put in a trust when I became VP); so it was understandable that many of the wealthy Nigerian business people who participated in the privatization programme were my friends. Did I use my influence to get them better deals? No. As the then DG of BPE testified under oath, I never used my position to interfere with his work.
My legacy as Vice President, I would say is the banking consolidation process, for which I gave political backing for. Many big people were putting a lot of political pressure to not change the status quo, but we knew that if that consolidation was not done, Nigeria could not grow. Because of that banking consolidation, Nigerian banks don’t fail anymore the way they used to.
I oversaw the telecoms revolution, which is why young people like you, I Go Dye, now have a flourishing career. Under our tenure, we witnessed a large repatriation of Nigerians back to Nigeria, driven by the hope of the recovering economy. It is sad that many of those young people are heading back abroad now?—?this is to show you that leadership matters.
I know many of these have been forgotten because it was a long time ago, and successive administrations did not follow up on the progress we made. But that is also not to say we were blameless. I was largely frozen out in the second term of our tenure, and I regret that we had that disagreement with my boss. Some say I was disloyal, but I looked at the events in Zimbabwe recently, and it gives me confidence that I did the right thing fighting the attempts to elongate the presidential tenure beyond eight years. If I did not win that fight, do you think we would be having a discussion on young people getting into leadership today?
Intels. I want to address this because you mentioned it. It was the Shagari government that started the Onne Port and later abandoned it. In summary, my business partner and I saw an opportunity to build Nigeria’s oil industry using world class infrastructure, but driven by Nigerians. We went out and took loans to build the facilities, but as we went on, more opportunities opened up, which allowed us access to even more capital. We ended up borrowing hundreds of millions of dollars, mostly from Europe, to build the port, singlehandedly charting the course of Nigeria’s oil industry.
Honestly, I did not ever think we would be that successful, which was why I kept my day job, when we started it. It was just what you would call, a side hustle, but it grew so big, and I had to quit my government job to focus on it. Today, every oil major uses the facilities we built. The government only became clients after the oil companies. Our company has expanded to several countries in Africa. Even the FG has seen that that company is the most competent logistics company in Africa, which is why it gives Intels the most complex operations to manage.
But Intels as a corporate citizen is loved in the locations it operates. That’s because we invest in scholarships, hire young people from the community and train them to become world class technicians. As CSR, we have gone into partnership with the NFF to train young Nigerian footballers, and provide support for the local league. We are loved by the youth in our local communities.
In my home state of Adamawa for example, I’ve created over 50,000 direct jobs and 250,000 indirect ones. We are the largest private employers of labour in the state only second to the state government. It’s not a lot, but it does help reduce unemployment. Who do you think are holding those jobs? Yes, young people.
I Go Dye, I’m not a messiah. I do not promise Eldorado or $1 = N1. But I always ask to look at the economic progress we made under my leadership and what I am doing in private business and judge me by those. People say I became rich in government. It’s a lie. I had hundreds of millions of dollars in assets declared in 1999. My businesses (my shares of which were held in a Blind Trust while I was in government) continued to grow since then. I was able to personally bankroll the PDP back then, so surely I was not poor. But I understand it is politics. So it’s normal to be called names. But how come in all these years, none of my opponents has found any evidence to indict me?
The people who are afraid of me changing the status quo they enjoy will always try to frighten young people about me.
Some people believe youth empowerment is giving handouts to young people instead of building a strong economy. They are wrong. They want to give handouts so they can control young people. But how long can we continue like that? Our country is borrowing to pay salaries, yet we are still holding on to outdated models just so we can control young people for elections.
The success of young Nigerian entrepreneurs in IT & technology, retail, music, and arts shows that given the chance, they can run anything. My job is to be a bridge, which supports our young people achieve these ideals. I will never say only I can do this. I can’t do it alone. I need your support, I Go Dye, so help our economy grow, to ensure that within 10 years, our young people can take over completely.
In summary, I Go Dye, I am not a person who says what he cannot do or show proof. I am giving you an invitation to sit down and ask me any questions you may have. I would also like to take you around, show you some of the businesses I have built, and let you speak to the young people who run those places. It is good to try to convince you that I can do better by our young people, but it is even better to show you. Send me a direct message on Twitter, and we will take it from there
A Family Photo of 4 has melted hearts online for the most bizarre of all reasons
This viral photo was shared online recently.
The woman is HIV+ while the husband and the children are negative to the deadly virus. This is AMAZING !!!
See Photo Below;
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a lentivirus (a subgroup of retrovirus) that causes HIV infection and over time acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
AIDS is a condition in humans in which progressive failure of the immune system allows life-threatening opportunistic infections and cancers to thrive. Without treatment, average survival time after infection with HIV is estimated to be 9 to 11 years, depending on the HIV subtype.
Infection with HIV occurs by the transfer of blood, pre-ejaculate, semen, vaginal fluids, or breast milk. Within these bodily fluids, HIV is present as both free virus particles and virus within infected immune cells.
A 58 year old woman has reportedly put to bed in Kogi State – the quite unique news was shared by Joys Oyedepo, the daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo.
Joys shared the photo of one Deaconess Goodness Oguche, who gave birth to a baby boy at the age of 58. Deaconess Oguche of Living Faith Church, in Kogi State, shared her testimony at Shiloh 2017.
A Kenyan woman identified simply as Gladys has claimed that Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz is the father of her seven-month-old daughter.
In an interview with online gossip magazine, Shilawadu, the woman says she met Diamond and became friends in 2011 while he was in Eldoret for a concert.
She says their relationship grew through social media where they used to chat all the time while the musician was in Tanzania and she in Kenya.
Three years into the friendship, she says, their friendship became a romantic one.
“Diamond was a friend of mine emotionally. Although we had some form of relationship, settling down had never been on the agenda”, explained the lady.
There however seems to be inconsistencies in the woman’s narrative regarding her actual age.
In the interview, she says was 37 years old in 2011 when she met Diamond, but when asked how old she is now she says she is 39. She later corrects herself saying she is 43 years old.

We hereby urge you, as bastion of hope and front runner in protection of human rights, to use your good offices and intervene in this matter of cruelty against the victim by ensuring that the respondent is brought to book to serve as a deterrent to whoever still engages in acts of inhuman and degrading treatment to others, especially to children.”

He said, “The parents of the victim have been invited to the police headquarters in Ado Ekiti. We will ensure justice in the matter. Anyone indicted in the investigation will be prosecuted.”

A 27-year old Libya deportee, Obehi Diamond, has described Libya as the best country where a young man can work and earn good money if there was a central government in the country.
Obehi said he lost all his earnings and savings in Libya because there was no way he could send money back to Nigeria.
He said he was tricked to Libya by a lady he gave N520,000 to take him to Europe in 2011 by flight but the woman abandoned him in Libya.
Speaking to our reporter in Benin City, Obehi said he was kidnapped four times but he bailed himself out with 4000 dinars on each occasion but never contemplated going to Europe because work was good for him in Libya.
Obehi stated that he would not attend any training organised by the Edo State Government because he was already a professional.
He said the N20,000 monthly stipend Governor Godwin Obaseki promised to pay Libya deportees was not what many of them need but good tools to start life again.
His words, “I left Nigeria in 2012. I paid money for flight but the women betrayed me and took me through land to Libya. I paid her N520,000 in 2011. She kept on promising me that I will soon leave. She later asked me to go to Libya that there was somebody to receive me until I will leave for Europe. When I got to Libya, Richard told me I could not travel by air because there is on government in Libya.
“I started working in Libya and earning 1,500dinars every month but Richard was collecting 1000 dinars every month from the money. He kept collecting money from me for four months.
“I later told him that I cannot be working and he will be collecting the money. Richard told my boss to stop paying me. He told me to leave his house and I started sleeping in the street inside abandoned vehicles.
I later met a boy who took me to his house in a mechanic workshop. I got a job somewhere and was earning 2000 dinars. From there I was sending money to my parents in Nigeria to take care off themselves. My friend found a job for me in Tripoli and I was working well.
“In 2014, I was going to take measurement for a job, policemen stop the vehicle I was in. I was the only black inside. After interrogation, they tore my papers.
I spent eight months in four different prisons. I got a phone to call my friend and he told me to look for a policeman to bail me out. In Libya, there is no lawyer to bail you. A policeman helped me out and I paid him 120,000 dinars. I started working again in Tripoli till 2016 when fight started. I found another place to work in downtown due to fighting in Tripoli.
After a month, I asked my boss to calculate the money and it was 4000 dinars. He wanted it pay me 600 dinars and I refused. I stopped the work because I am a professional. I could get work easily because people used to call me for work. The man pursued me and said I must work for him. He took thugs to pursue me and for my safety I decided to work for 600 dinars.
“When I was arrested in Tripoli, I spent 15 months in prison before I was deported. I was not planning to go to Europe. In Libya, there is work. Libya is the best country in aspect of money and work. There is no country to compare to Libya. The problem is the lack of government. Libya is the best place for a young man to work and survive. There is money in Libya if you are a good workman. There is future in Libya for those that are not lazy.
“Since 2015, there was no means to send money home. Libyans know that we blacks do keep money at home. When they caught me, they went to my house to collect my money. They took my property. I lost everything. They took huge money from me. If I had come home with that money, I would not have depend on government to help me, I will just open my shop immediately.
“If the state government help me to open my shop, I will not think of traveling again. The pattern of aluminum work in Libya is different so I had to learn from an Egyptian.
“There is nobody that go to Libya that does not have skills except the Benin boys. The Benin boys are lazy. I don’t play with my work when I was in Libya even on Fridays.
“The training from Obaseki is out of point. I don’t want to under go any training here in Edo. If I have my money, I will go to Lagos and start working immediately. I cannot collect N20,000 monthly from Obaseki.
That is no money. That is what I work in Libya in two days. I don’t need any training.
What I need is money to start off. My fiancée is still in prison in Libya. I am expecting her to be brought back soon.”
