Corpses of slain IPOB members found inside bush

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared 21 days mourning for its members killed during the military invasion of the home of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu at Afara Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia State.

This is even as the Biafra agitation group says it has discovered more corpses of her slain members in a bush within the precincts of the home of its leader.

The group equally informed that it is burying the slain members, numbering more than over 28 who were killed during the invasion, in piecemeal with 11 of such bodies already interred.

A senior member of the group, Mark Eze Ofuonye, who disclosed how some of their members were shot dead by the invading soldiers, and their corpses dumped in a bush near the home of the IPOB leader, said:

“Some of our members, numbering over 28, were murdered in cold blood by the military during the invasion of our leader’s home at Afara Ukwu. The soldiers were doing a sort of mop up operation; whenever they killed any of our members, they carried away the corpse to conceal their horrendous act but it was not possible.

“So, they filled up their trucks with our members’ corpses. The corpses we retrieved and which we are burying at present are those the soldiers could not carry.

They just came out with the intention of killing any human being or living thing that was found in the compound of our leader.

The people they met were not armed still they shot them, even people just standing nearby and those passing through the area were caught in the attack.”

Continuing, Ofuonye said: “The corpses we are burying now (referring to the day of the interview) were found inside the bush. They were shot by soldiers and they ran into the bush with bullet wounds thinking that they could receive help there but no help came their way and they died inside the bush. Some of the dead bodies were discovered last week inside the bush at the back of Nnamdi Kanu’s house. The 28 were those ones that were killed within the axis of the house of our leader. But the total number killed within this range is 305 persons.”

The IPOB chieftain who said there was no need for the operation by the Nigerian army as members of the group did not carry arms neither were they violent, added that the leadership of the group declared the 21-day mourning for their slain members.

He advised the United Nations to send its representatives to the home of their leader at Afara Ukwu to be able to see how soldiers invaded the house of a core civilian with heavy armoury and none of the soldiers sustained any scratch which he said was an indication that despite the propaganda mounted by the Nigerian army, the IPOB members were not armed.

Man kills his 14 year old son because he’s gay

A 53-year-old man, identified as Wendell Melton shot and killed his 14-year-old son Giovanni over his sexual orientation.

“Giovanni was abused physically and mentally and spiritually for many, many years,” said Sonja Jones, Giovanni’s former foster mom. Over the phone, Jones spoke of the teen she loved as one of her own.

Jones says she was told by another family member that part of the argument that led to the deadly shooting was over Giovanni’s sexual orientation. Jones says Wendell Melton had problems with it.

“He hated the fact that his son was gay,” said Jones. “I’m sure that inside of his mind, he would rather have a dead son than a gay son.” Court records show Wendell Melton worked for United Airlines. He once was a pilot.

Jones says Wendell threatened his son before. “I’m hearing his dad had caught him with his boyfriend before and pulled out a gun on him,” said Jones. Giovanni was a student at Coronado High School.

Jones says a beautiful life was taken away because of ignorance. “I hope they throw the book at him. I hope he never sees the light of day,” said Jones. “I hope every day when he looks in the mirror, he sees his son’s face.”

I can’t act nude for N5 million, that amount is too small — Anita Joseph

See excerpt of Nollywood actress Anita Joseph’s recent interview with The Entertainer.

I learnt that you have ‘repented’ and no longer flaunt your cleavages anyhow, how true is that?

I repented long time ago. I wear what’s proper now. I wear whatever suits me and makes me comfortable.

You were mocked sometime ago for ‘claiming’ your friend’s pregnancy, how did that make you feel?

That wasn’t mockery; it was my pregnancy too. I was part of the plan for the scriptures to be fulfilled.

Do you feel bad that you’re not a mother yet?

(Laughs) Feel bad about what?

How then do you handle critics?

I handle critics well and I adjust. No time is late to learn.

Any plan to marry soon or join the trend of baby mamas?

I can decide not to answer you. But I choose to. Marriage comes when it comes. I’m not bothered about it. And if by any way he shoots and I get pregnant, it’s a big congratulation to both of us.

What’s your kind of man?

My kind of man must be spirit-filled. He must be a man that fears Jehovah God. There’s nothing more attractive to me than a man that loves God. He must make me laugh. He must possess a good sense of humour. He must also be a power dresser and smell good.

Can you marry an actor or a comedian?

Yes I can. I don’t like loud men. I don’t like a man that picks or blows his nose anyhow, especially in the public.

Is that man in your life right now?

Yes, of course. My favourite food is beans and afang soup. So, I’ll be indoors with my man. I don’t do cinemas. I have a good TV at home. I’ll buy popcorn and soft drinks; then put off the light. No cinema can give me that kind of pleasure.

What do you like most about your man?

He treats me like I am the only woman on earth, and he loves God.

I hope he doesn’t feel jealous seeing you kiss and cuddle on the screen?

(Laughs). He feels jealous sometimes. But he knows it’s an act and he trusts me.

What’s your unforgettable experience as an actress?

Hnmm… it’s when a guy tapped my buttocks. I can’t forget that day. I wanted to remove my shoes and pursue him. But the actress in me held me back.

Is your butt the most cherished body part?

No. I don’t think so. I cherish every part of my body.

You are well endowed behind, would you insure it for a certain amount of money?

I’m not into such things. I might though, I honestly don’t know yet. But if…

I know you can be very daring; can you act nude for like N5 million?

Are you trying to insult me right now? Are you well at all? Don’t put that sh-t in my interview. At least call better money, I will reject that (N5 million).

Can you say you are a fulfilled woman?

I don’t have everything I want right now but I am contented and grateful. I don’t have it all but I am good.

Lots of celebrity marriages are crashing, does that scare you from venturing into it?

It’s not only celebrity marriages that are crashing. It’s everywhere. And no, it doesn’t bother or worry me. In fact, it makes me stronger and reminds me that when I finally marry, I must remain married because they are wolves out there waiting to devour it.

“Help! I lied to my fiancé that I am a virgin, my wedding is in December”

When I was 15, a man in our neighbourhood had sex with me. I was too confused and embarrassed to tell anyone about it. I didn’t get pregnant. While growing up, I still remembered the incident and kept away from dating through out my university days.

I met my fiancé in 2014. Somehow I told him I was still a virgin when we were still getting to know ourselves. He asked me to marry him soon after. It seemed as if the main reason he wanted marriage was because he felt I was a decent girl and I didn’t want him to find out after our wedding. I did some stuffs to my vagina and we had sex. It was like the whole process of deflowering again. He seemed satisfied.

The issue is that I feel scared starting my marriage on a lie. Standing before the priest when there’s a secret between us. We’ve done the necessary intro. I don’t know what to think anymore. Should I let him continue believing he’s the only man I’ve been with?

Only God can determine a hit song — Ice Prince

He has been the butt of many jokes on social media as many now believe Ice Prince has gone back to the level of the upcoming artistes in the industry.

Reacting to a recent tweet that shaded him about being an upcoming artiste, the rapper said:

“My duty is to create music, but how far the music goes is not for me to decide. God did what He did for Ice Prince and He did what He did for the Nigerian music industry. Music evolves and if God blesses an artiste to make a song that has a huge impact, such a person shouldn’t claim he is responsible for the glory. It is God, not the artiste.

“I don’t know if you will ask 2Baba when he will release another African Queen or you will ask 9ice when he will make another Gongo Aso. Will you ask Olu Maintain when he is dropping another Yahooze. I made Oleku, and I have also done other great songs.”

“Pastors, not Timaya and Iyanya deserves to live in Lekki” — Life Coach writes

Allison Bisongs Hyacintho, a life coach has said, that pastors and not artistes, deserves to live in “classy” places like, Lekki.

Read his post below:

When you go to church today and feel the AC blowing through your wig into your skull, know that you are eating out of your tithe.

…when the bass guitarists, the keyboardist and other guys on the drums are delivering some good music during praise and you’re dancing everywhere and removing your coat, uncle they pay those guys working for God, know that you are eating out of your tithe.

… Most Sundays you don’t go to church because you depend on nepa to iron your cloths, it is the same thing in the house of God, we don’t depend on NEPA to power the church, we pay for fuel and diesel, so when you go to church today and enjoy uninterrupted worship, know that you are eating out of your tithe.

… If you go to church to charge your phones and you grudge about tithe, well, your case is different.

… When we invite Pst Nathaniel Bassey to lead you in worship to our God, it is not his trumpet he will eat when he goes back home after ushering the Holy Ghost into your life with his ministration, it is not halleluyah challenge his landlord will eat, we give them minister’s gifts to support the work God is also doing through them, it is the meat that you have stored in God’s house that we use to feed them. So when Travis Greene comes from the UK to raise the roof in praise and worship dance very well because it is your tithe.

… Who deserves to live in lekki? The pastor that feeds you daily with God’s word or Timaya that adds nothing to your Christian faith?

Who deserves to drive the best cars? Your pastor glorifying God or Iyanya winding waist with naked women glorifying mammon?

One witch somewhere will just be vexing for nothing that we are giving to advance the kingdom, you grudge when asked to donate to a church project, you grudge when asked to pay tithe, you think it’s your squeezed 50naira that makes you comfortable in worship at church?

Witches campaigning for people not to pay tithe to God when they cheerfully pay Millions for a table for 5 at AY shows.

“I am not a Snub” — Onyeka Onwenu

So everyone is talking about Nigerian singer, Aramide, revealing an embarrassing experience she had with veteran actress and singer, Onyeka Onwenu..

In case you missed it, speaking in a chat with NET, the J‘owo‘ singer narrated how she opened for Onyeka Onwenu at a recent event and afterwards, she was called to take a photo with the legend but Onwenu shunned her.

Aramide said;

“As I got close to her, she just went off on me–she was like, ‘don’t touch me’. It was crazy, and it’s still like the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life,” “Everyone was staring. It was weird.”

“But I still took the picture but it scarred me, because…when I see someone I look up to, I want to be in front of you and say, ‘see, I love you‘,” said Aramide. “But when I get that opportunity and I’m shunned, it makes me feel really bad.”

She continued, saying;

“I don’t think I will see her now and want to say hello. It is what it is.”

Aramide

Now, on TheCable Lifestyle’s latest edition of The Legend Series, Onwenu, talks about her foray into music and acting, present-day lyrical content and videos, as well as fighting for respect in a chauvinistic industry.

After spending decades in the industry, what changes and innovations do you appreciate the most — and have had the most impact on your craft?

It has to be the digital advancement and other technical improvements and renovations available in the studio, such as voice corrections. But then one has to be careful with these because the analog system has its merits.

The sound is richer and more authentic to the ear. We get around this by using both systems.

Also, the fact that you do not need to be signed to a record company for your music to be heard is a good thing for up and coming artistes who probably would not have had the opportunity they now have to simply reach their fans through the internet.

How did you get your first break into music, then later, acting?

While still in the United States in 1978 or thereabouts, I happened to speak on the phone with Sunny Okosuns. His first wife Nkechi was the sister of my first cousin’s wife, Ada Dan-Chimah and Sunny had called their house in Chicago where I was spending my summer holidays.

I told him I was interested in having a professional music career. He asked me to send him a demo tape, which I did and which he liked. When I got back to Nigeria in 1980, I contacted him again and he took me to EMI. I was signed on and Sunny Okosuns produced my first album, ‘Endless Life’.

I never planned to go into acting. My immediate elder sister Ijeoma was the Actress in the family and she was very talented, my mother too. However, around 1989, Zik Zulu blackmailed me into acting in the film, ‘Nightmare’.

The story was about a childless woman who found an abandoned baby and raised her. He promised that the proceeds would go to an orphanage. He had faith that I could act. The film was well received and my acting career took off from there.

Your role in the adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie’s ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ earned you wide praise.

How was that experience?

It was very special on a number of levels; It was Chimamanda herself who insisted that I must play the part and she felt really vindicated after my performance. The producers thanked her for it.

The experience of working with Hollywood greats like Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandi Newton, Annika Rose provided me with a great opportunity to learn a thing or two. To have received the reviews I did, in the midst of them, was something to be proud of. It was God’s grace.

I am also very proud that one of us John Boyega who was later cast in a Star Wars film is now the toast of Hollywood.

I am hoping that opportunities like that will also come for me, from my appearance in Half of A Yellow Sun. It was a pity that for some political reasons, efforts were made to kill the film in Nigeria.

Finally, for the first time in Nigeria, Biafra could be depicted in a film. It gave us the opportunity to discuss our history. This is something that is needed, even if it still makes us uncomfortable, discuss it we must, so that we do not continue to make the same mistakes.

You have managed to keep your personal life vis-a-vis your children from the media glare. How’s that been possible and is that, in your opinion, the way to go?

I am a shy and private person. Because I insist on living a down to earth life, going to the market, doing the school run and going to places with my children when they were younger, I knew that I had to play down the celebrity lifestyle to a minimum.

I am a diva on stage or in any situation that calls for it, otherwise, I am just an ordinary person. That simplifies my life and protects my family from unnecessary scrutiny and unwanted attention. My children are not keen on capitalising on their mother’s name. They are intent on making their own. I respect them for that.

A lot of veterans have issues with present-day lyrical content and shoddy live performances — what’s your take on this?

I grew up in Port Harcourt in the ’50s and early ’60s, before the Nigeria/Biafra war. Those were the days of Rex Lawson, Osita Osadebe Celestine Ukwu, etc. Their songs were philosophical.

But they also had lyrics castigating women and calling them Ashawo, ‘One Pound no balance’ and so on. That made me promise myself that I would sing songs that would uplift women.

My point is that sexy, nonsensical lyrics have always been with us. As each generation matures, they realise that what endures is what edifies. They will switch tactics and write better songs.

I am more worried though about their videos. They are becoming more sexually explicit by the day and the children are watching. In fact, they are being influenced by the lewd dances they see in these videos, and their parents seem unconcerned. Mark my words, sooner than later, these children will begin to enact these sexual moves in real life.

I was at a children’s party recently and I nearly cried at what I was witnessing. Many parents were around and didn’t care.

But when I took over the microphone and began singing my songs, Iyogogo, Ekwe, You and I, Bia Nulu, Alleluya, etc, the dance steps changed. The children enjoyed dancing and synchronised their steps but no lewd movements.

What was it like starting a career in entertainment at a time when there was no technological disruption or internet boom?

It was very interesting. We knew no better, so we took it all in our stride. For example, with the analog system of recording we were using in the early 80s, you had to record with your band, all playing and singing at the same time.

If one person made a noticeable mistake, you had to start all over again. It was quite frustrating at times. Also, there was a noticeable drop in the technical quality of music recorded locally, compared to what was obtainable abroad. Mixing was also challenging.

You had to cut, slice and join tapes, which was not always neat. The engineer also needed to be hands-on and remember the manipulation of the panel, as programmed in his head.

Many Artistes would compensate by starting their recording in Nigeria, but finishing in London. Still, the technical problems persisted.

In 1984, however, when I recorded the album ‘In The Morning Light’, which contained songs like Ekwe, Bia Nulu and Alleluya, I decided to scrap the initial recording I had done in Nigeria because the technical quality was suspect and start all over again, from scratch, in London.

We went partly digital, using the FairLight system. It turned out to be the first album in Nigeria with a digital component. The difference, of course, was remarkable.

The release and promotion of an album after release also were challenging. You had to work with a recording company and physically take your music to the radio and TV stations and of course the print media.

There was no YouTube or iTunes so distribution was laborious and fraught with exposure to piracy.

Did you ever consider taking a hike when the entertainment industry wasn’t as financially profitable as present day?

Yes, I considered leaving the music industry, but not for financial reasons, but for the lack of respect and consideration from the audience, the press, as well as the male practitioners in the industry.

Sometimes, people feel that you are public property just because you are a woman and an entertainer. They feel that they are entitled to talk to you anyhow, touch you, use your services and not pay you.

I had to devise ways to protect myself. My policy is to only mix with people on a professional basis. I am very formal. I do not joke around and I do not socialise. I also collect all my fees before the show.

By the same token, I conduct myself in a professional and self-respecting manner. I leave no room for failure to live up to expectations. In fact, I strive to exceed expectations in my performances.

I must say, however, that this has led to some people labelling me a snub. But I am not. I am indeed shy and very down to earth. I am also confident and self-assured.

What projects are you involved in other than entertainment?

When the music industry took a nose dive in the ’80 and ’90s, when record companies such as Polygram, EMI and Sony left the country, artistes like me picked up the gauntlet and continued to sustain the industry by financing releasing and promoting our music, under individual labels.

Mine was called Ayollo Productions. We owned and rented out a rehearsal studio, musical equipment and the Kabassa Band.

I also set up and Events Center in GRA Ikeja called The Unity Center. As a member of PMAN and PMRS, I contributed my bit to sanitising and regulating the music industry, with regards to issues such as piracy, intellectual property and copyright dues. PMRS metamorphosed into COSON, one of the two collecting society in Nigeria today.

Nollywood Actress, Ebube Nwagbo has revealed in a chat with Sunday Scoop on why she is yet to be married.

Ebube Nwagbo reveals

Ebube Nwagbo has had her fair share of controversies in the industry and has since managed to keep her private life private.

She said: “I believe that everything happens at the right time, which is the time that God ordains. I don’t like abandoning things halfway; I prefer to stick with it till the end. That’s why I have to be very careful about marriage. I don’t think divorced couples go into their marriages with the intention to split. It is because issues came up that they couldn’t handle or that they did not know one another well enough before getting married. Anyway, I have learnt from the mistakes of other people and whenever I make my decision, it just has to be the right way.”

“Some of them can be quite extreme and I always put such people in their place. I try to relate with people equally, irrespective of class or status. However, most of my fans are pleasant and I love them all very much. I appreciate all the females too. But I also want fans of celebrities to know that as humans, their favourite actor or artiste wouldn’t always be in the best of moods. They should try to be a bit more understanding.”

Mum breaks down in tears after losing her 3-year old son, Ayden Brown to cancer

This is beyond sad….

Ayden Brown, a 3-year-old boy from Las Vegas, lost his long battle with stage 4 lung cancer on Friday.

According to his mother, Lindsey Licari who is broken beyond words ‘today my son lost his fight with cancer and my life will never be the same’ she wrote.

She also announced that his eyes will be donated to kids in dire need of it so they could see the world through his eyes.

Read her touching tribute below;

Today, I lost my son. In this world, there was not one doctor, one person that could offer my son any options at all. And he aspirated and stopped breathing. And I tried to do CPR and bring Ayden back.

But I wasn’t able to. And they tried again, the hospital six times. And even when I saw lines straight, I still knew God could still help him. But Ayden’s body couldn’t take anymore. So today, I lost Ayden because we live in a world that doesn’t prepare for child cancer.

And I am broken in so many ways. But they messed with the wrong mom and the wrong kid. Childhood cancer will never be the same now after Ayden. And I will never stop. I will never stop, until you guys stop letting these kids die. Because my son fought to live.

He fought his whole life. He fought his whole life to live. And you filled him with poison until his organs couldn’t take it anymore and his body fell apart.

So you think they took my son and it’s not going to change something about cancer? Then you’re wrong. Because that little boy was my entire life. He was my entire life. And I had to watch my son dwindle away in front of my face and there was nothing I could do about it. There was nothing I could do about it no matter how much help I could get my son.

No matter who I called, there was nothing I could do. But I knew if this disease was going to take Ayden, everybody in the world would know who my son is. Everybody will know Ayden Setoshi Brown.

He was three years old. He could tell you every planet in the solar system. He was phenomenally smart and he loved me so much and I loved him too. He didn’t deserve to die.

These kids don’t deserve to die. And if I can do anything in my power, I will make sure that no mother feels how I feel today and have to put their kid in a bag.

Cleric says men can marry their own daughters if they are born out of wedlock

Imam al shafi.jpg

A prominent Egyptian Salafist cleric, has caused a stir on Social Media, after he suggested Islam allows men to have sex with their has suggested Islam allows men to have sex with their illegitimate daughters and marry them.

Dailymail.co.uk reports that Mazen Al-Sersawi cites prominent Muslim scholar Imam Al-Shafi’i as saying because illegitimate daughters are not officially attributed to their fathers they can be married to them.

He makes the claims in a video which has gone viral and he has been widely criticized for the comments.

In the video, Al-Sersawi said Imam Al-Shafi’i is known for saying men may marry their own daughters that are born out of wedlock

Al-Sersawi, who teaches at the prestigious Egypt’s Al-Azhar University, claims Al-Shafi’I says a girl born in an adulterous relationship is ‘not really his daughter’.

Because an illegitimate daughter does not carry her father’s name, ‘she is not his daughter according to Sharia. She is not officially attributed to him’.

The video was made in 2012 but has recently resurfaced online.

In September footage emerged of a Saudi cleric claiming women should not be allowed to drive as they have a “quarter” of a man’s brain power.

Sheikh Saad al-Hajari said there were “evils of allowing women to drive”, saying it wasn’t their fault as they were “made that way”.

“Would you give a man with half an intellect a driving licence? So how would you give one to a woman when she has half an intellect?”

He then added: “If they go out to the market this gets halved again! So they now have a quarter of an intellect.”

Meet the Billionaire Kenyan Governor Mike Sonko who drives only gold cars, uses 24-Karat gold phones, jewelries and only drinks gold wine (photos)

Kenyan Governor Mike Sonko

Yesterday, something happened on Twitter.. A Nigerian twitter user, shared a picture of Senator Dino Melaye, dancing and swagging, she complained bitterly about him and wrote; “This man right here, is a senator in my country. Somebody help..”

Kenyan Governor Mike Sonko

Immediately, a Kenyan, responded to the tweet and insinuated Dino is better, he then shared a picture of Nairobi’s current governor, Mike Sonko, who wears multi million dollars jewelries.

He shared the above picture and wrote: “Wish I could. But this man right here is the Governor of my country.. Nairobi”

Shocked? I am too.. See below, what we could get from Wikipedia, about Mike Sonko, and pictures of his luxury lifestyle.

Kenyan Governor Mike Sonko

According to reports, Sonko has several Gold Cars, Uses 24 Karat Gold Phones, and Drinks only from Gold bottles.

Mike Sonko rose to national political prominence when he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Makadara Constituency, Kenya at the age of 35.

Kenyan Governor Mike Sonko

His political image was further bolstered by his trouncing of such political heavyweights as Dick Wathika and Reuben Ndolo to clinch the seat. The September 20, 2010 by-election was occasioned by a successful petition by Reuben Ndolo.

After the inauguration of the new constitution of Kenya in 2010 and the creation of the county governments, Sonko announced his intention to run for Senator in Nairobi County.

He became the First Senator of Nairobi after it was announced that, with 808,705 votes, he beat his closest competitor, Margaret Wanjiru of the Orange Democratic Movement, who had garnered 525,822 votes, in the Nairobi senatorial election of 2013.

Unlike his time in parliament, where he gained notoriety for flaunting House Rules, including incidences of inappropriate dressing.

During his time in the senate, he formed the Sonko Rescue Team, an officially registered Non-Governmental Organization that provided government-like services to residents of Nairobi slums.

The then governor of Nairobi County, Dr. Evans Kidero opposed the activities of the group, citing conflict of interests with the county government’s operations. The Senator acquiesced and donated the vehicles to the county government after several weeks of tense public exchanges.

As early as January 2016, Mike Sonko had announced his intentions to run for Governor of Nairobi County in the Kenyan general election, 2017.

After a grueling primary campaign against Peter Kenneth, Sonko run for the Gubernatorial seat for Nairobi County with the Jubilee Party of Kenya and defeated the incumbent Evans Kidero to become the second Governor of Nairobi.

“My new massive butt is worth N1.5 million” — Cossy Ojiakor

Nollywood’s queen of boobs, Cossy Ojiakor, may have made good her plans to get a new bum to compliment her humongous boobs, which have earned her fame far above what her talents could have pulled off.

The Nutty Queen revealed to Potpourri in a private chat that having a new big bum to replace her relatively small one is a done deal and that, it actually set her back some millions of naira.

When asked if she had actually done the butt job she said she would do, the actress who’s always economical with words replied in the affirmative.

“That’s old news. I have big butt now,” she replied briefly with a chuckle of mischief in her voice.

Then, Potpourri inquired if she could share the picture of the new big butt. She obliged with more chuckles.

“So, you expect me to give out my new massive butt pictures just like that? After spending N1.5 million? Please chill. I ‘m not giving it out yet. You will see it from my new musical video,” adding with more chuckles and teasing words.

Cossy caught everyone by surprise when she announced she was going under the knives to make her bum as massive as her legendary humongous boobs. There’s probably no other African movie star more popular for their bumper boobs than Cossy Ojiakor.

I prefer to call her ‘Commotion Cossy’ because wherever she goes, commotion follows her, as all male eyes and even female ones bulge from their sockets at the sight of Cossy’s colossal twin-towers.

Some have called her Nollywood’s queen of boobs and rightly so, as the Nutty Queen has never failed to put her boobs on the line but it appears the diva wants to give her fans the best of two worlds.

Interestingly, some minutes after our discussion, Cossy added as her profile picture on WhatsApp a cryptic picture of her back, showing her back, hip and a bit of her gluteaus area, but not the maximum.

Court orders Jim Iyke to pay N15.7 million debt to Socialite, Habiba Abubakar

Court orders Jim Iyke

After about 5 years, of dodging the court, Nollywood Actor, Jim Iyke has been found guilty of defrauding Nigerian socialite, Hajia Habiba Abubakar of N16 million, and has been ordered to pay N15.7m as he has initially paid N300,000 to her before.

Court orders Jim Iyke

Below is the report by King of Naijagists;

Court orders Jim Iyke

I would rather say, to help or invest in people nowadays is scary

I took it upon myself to personally follow this Case up! In my course of studying this case I actually found Jim Iyke has been dodging this case with so many silly excuses for years but finally he can’t run no more. He is found guilty, and indebted to Madam Habiba Abubakar.

Habiba Abubakar is a woman with a Good heart, who has helped so many Nigerians far and near even beyond Africa in general with her NGO (the elderly and the poor) program, irrespective of their tribe, faith and religion.

In all my findings, Jim Iyke took advantage of her kind gesture to defraud her of a whooping 16 million naira and thought he could scare her on Twitter by saying she is only interested in dating him.

Jim is notoriously known for fighting with several other women like Habiba Abubakar.

He has been ordered to repay the remaining balance of N15.7million to Habiba as he initially paid some token back to her.

Here is the judgement delivered in a court sitting in Abuja on the 19th of October 2017.

“Gucci nose loading”, Nigerians troll Hushpuppi after he underwent a nose surgery

Hushpuppi has just revealed on Social Media to share how grateful he is, following a major surgery he underwent that took over 2 hours.

The Malaysian-based Nigerian Big Boy, who is currently embroiled in a social media battle with his former close friend, Mompha, and mother of his son, shared a picture of himself in a hospital bed, and wrote; “After over 2 hours under the knife, it was a success at the end. Thank you God”,

He didn’t reveal details about his surgery, or what went wrong with him, but with the picture he shared, he had a major surgery on his nose.

Trust folks on Social Media to troll him. Some are speculating he sold his 2nd Kidney, while others joked about it saying, “Gucci nose Loading”.

“I hope the surgery was done in Dubai Mall”, someone wrote on Instagram, shading the fact that the socialite usually tours Dubai.

Nigerians weeps as MMM announces a “restart”.

It has been revealed that popular ponzi scheme MMM has officially announced a “RESTART” of the system, leaving many Nigerian participants wailing with thousands and millions on Naira trapped in the scheme.

In a message posted on the home page of participants Saturday morning, the scheme said that it had struggled to stay afloat after going on a break in Dec. 2016 but had been forced to do a system restart.

Many of the participants who commented in various MMM Whatsapp groups recounted sadly how they and family members had lost millions to the scheme.

MMM is a ponzi scheme which gained popularity in Nigeria in 2016. It promised to pay participants 30 per cent return on investment every 30 days.

Despite various warnings by the Federal Government and its financial regulators, many Nigerians adamantly went on to participate in MMM.

Recall that in 2016, the Federal Government, through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) warned Nigerians against putting their money in the scheme.

In December 2016, the scheme went on “Pause Mode”, freezing the funds of participants and allegedly bolted with N18 billion but promised to resume payments by January 2017.

MMM kept its promise by resuming in January but it had new rules: 2016 money was to be paid back in percentages of new money “invested”.

This also did not stand the test of time and by July 2017, the scheme went on a semi pause mode when it could not pay withdrawal requests.

While those who lost their money in June/July continued to wait and lament, the ponzi scheme, in a frantic effort to stay afloat, commenced payment of those who “invested” their money in August, promising to backdate the payment to cover those whose money were still pending from June and July.

It even introduced 100 per cent return on investment to encourage more Nigerians to participate in August.

Apparently unable to meet its promises to pay back June/July pledges and faced with more challenges, the ponzi scheme on Saturday announced that it was going on restart, blaming the Nigerian government and the media for its woes which started in 2016.

Read the full text of the message:

RESTART

Unfortunately, we were unable to overcome the consequences of the crisis triggered by the authorities and mass media incautious actions at the beginning of this year. Despite all our efforts. The problems have been accumulating and, as a result, we have to announce a restart.

So, there is a restart:

All old Mavros (acquired before this announcement is posted) are frozen. We will gradually buy them back as the System develops.

All transactions with new Mavros (acquired after this announcement is posted) will be carried out on the usual terms with no restrictions.

Some amendments have been made to the rules:

Mavros will now start growing at the moment the request is confirmed (not at the moment it is created, as it was previously).

Consequently, bonuses will start growing at the moment when the main contribution is confirmed (upon which bonuses have been rewarded on).

Mavro-50% for the first contribution will not be available.

We launch three-month contributions of two types: 40% and 50% (see more details in WHAT IS MMM).

We’re confident that this measure (especially paragraphs 1 and 2) will significantly reduce the load on the System while also significantly improving its stability.

As a matter of fact, a restart is not the end of the world, it’s just a restart of the System and nothing more. Continue to provide help and you’ll get it all back (even if you’ve lost something now). It all starts from the beginning. It’s the most opportune time for participating.

We would also like to remind you (just for form’s sake) that everyone had been fully aware of all the risks and had read the WARNING which they had also confirmed by checking the relevant box in the process of registration.

Hoping for your understanding,

MMM Administration

Some of the participants of the scheme expressed regrets for ever joining MMM.

One of the participants (names with held) said that if he had known he would have used his money fro something better rather than investing on the scheme.

“This MMM people are very useless, they just came to dupe us,” he said.

On the promise by the scheme to buy back the debts it owed Nigerians when it restarts, he said: “Restart? who are they restarting with? Nobody will join MMM in Nigeria again”.

“MMM is gone and gone for good,” he said.

Actor, RMD celebrates daughter as she turns 15.

RMD celebrates daughter

Nollywood’s favorite Richard Mofe-Damijo a.k.a RMD’s daughter just turned 15 and the proud dad who made a decision few months ago to keep his family off social media, took to Instagram to celebrate, while also hinting that he did it because he had something to say.

Here’s what he wrote;

“Several months ago I made a decision to keep my family off my social media accounts but today as my little girl turns 15, I am compelled to say something.

I’m not exactly certain why but perhaps it’s because every father nurses some level of uncertainty about their little girl growing up. It doesn’t matter where, Nigeria or the US, the fears are there.

The fears are doubled today because of the exposure to the internet which is fraught with all kinds of dangerous notions, warped narratives and risky things, but you are my girl, who above all knows and fears God.

My fears are calmed by the fact that you have been instilled with values that are not of the world but of the word (of God), which is why I know you will grow into a fine woman who will be a light and beacon to and for your generation.

I believe God that you’ll continue to grow in wisdom and in grace and that the light of God’s word will always guide you to make the right choices.

Make yourself and everyone that loves you proud baby. Daddy is rooting for you, so go on my sweet cakes and enjoy your day and never forget that daddy loves you silly as always.

Happy Birthday baby.”
