A first class Physics Electronics graduate, who had been jobless for two years after she finished from Ajayi Crowther University, has finally been offered employment after Premium Times published a report on her.
Odufuwa Sola, 22, not only graduated with a first class but was the best graduating student in the university for that year with a 4.83 G.P.A. She had the honour of delivering a valedictory speech in the school.
However, after graduating, she searched for a job for years and when that wasn’t forthcoming, she started learning tailoring at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
In October, Sola took to Twitter to beg people to id her in finding a job. Premium Times then published a story on her and it got the attention of Adamu Garba, the CEO of IPI Solution Ltd, an IT firm with offices in Lagos and Abuja.
Garba reached out to Ms. Sola via Twitter and within days she was offered an employment in project development and IT solutions after a job interview. She has also been enrolled in a mentorship scheme by the company. The young lady is trying to settle down on her new job and a new life in Lagos.
Speaking about the new job, Ms, Sola said:
“It’s actually a different field from what I learnt in school. It’s all about programming. The company has done well by providing me with a new laptop, eBooks, and videos to aid my transition into the IT world. And I have colleagues around me who are always willing and ready to help. It’s challenging but I know with time I will adjust.”
Ms. Sola said she loves her new job and that the pay was good for a start. She thanked Premium Times for doing a story on her and also thanked her new boss, Mr. Garba, for giving her the opportunity to work in the IT company.
Should we talk about the binary of sexuality and shame in our African society?
Years ago, I was in jss1 reading everything that came my way and throwing questions to any adult that comes my way not caring about what he or she felt.
As a child, the first adults you look up to are your parents. You ask them anything by anytime you want.
Early morning one day before I was leaving for school I went to the kitchen where my parents were talking and asked them what a condom was.
That was the first time I shut adults up in my life.
I didn’t know what a condom was but by their reaction of undiluted silence I felt I had committed a sacrilege. They didn’t talk to me. Until this day.
I left them and used a dictionary.
That afternoon in class, my home economics teacher was teaching puberty and all that was involved.
The topic fascinated me in a way that I couldn’t wait to go home and ask my parents questions about the wonders human bodies can do.
I got home excited and asked my dad what menstruation and masturbation meant. In his face I saw a tug of war going on. Disgust and complacency taking over a major part of it.
I was a smart kid. I immediately switched the question to something that will make him proud of me. I asked him about something in the Bible. I can’t remember exactly what that was.
But, I was stunned that a face that had a not-so-pleasant look had lightened up within seconds because of a Bible question.
I remember this almost every other day and shake my head.
Our African parents are just a bunch of something I don’t want to describe. It irks me that something as simple as a penis and a vagina can be given a crown of euphemism.
I went to school to argue that there was nothing like a penis. I argued that it was pee-wee.
Why?
My parents thought that private parts were very special things that we should be shy about and talk about in hushed tones.
Note: this is not a party to bash my parents. No! This is a party to let new father’s and mothers know that they should not walk the paths our parents walked.
***********
Our private parts aren’t as special as our brains. But, our parents made these things look as big deals and when they talk to us about it you see on their faces dread and beads of sweats as if they are solving equations older than them.
We all have our fair share of this madness.
Sometimes I feel that the reason our politicians are stupid is because they were raised by mother’s who were told that if a mans shoulder brushed against their own they will be instantly pregnant.
I will soon get married and the question I asked my parents haven’t been answered.
My father died years ago and he didn’t answer my question.
Because of the shame tied to our private parts you see kids ashamed to tell you what the house help did to them while you were at work.
What the uncle downstairs did when he came to charge his phone.
What the aunty upstairs did when she called your son up to give him ice-cream.
You see that something as serious as molestation goes on and you dont know.
Because you’re hiding trivial things from your children.
Look at me who they were hiding things from.
What don’t I know now?? Just what?
So, what was the point of hiding?
In all you teach your children, shame shouldn’t make the list!!!
My mother will read this post and call me inside her room this night and we will sit before each other while I tell her all I have been through.
All!
From house helps to family friends and all what not.
It is sad my father won’t know about this because he didn’t want to tell me what condom was.
Many people are like me.
Sitting on their pasts for eons of years.
Because their parents will blame them for not telling them.
Why will they tell you anything when you don’t come out open to talk to your children about sex.
What is wee-wee?
Who came up with that madness??
Call it penis! Call it vagina!!
Call it what it is.
If you call it wee-wee in a biology exam you will FAIL!!
At Ake festival last week, people were asked at what age they will tell their daughters about sex.
As expected, a woman said “When she is ready for marriage”
I shrugged and said in my heart “After she must have aborted like four or five children”
You see; I don’t have strength to keep up with playing hide and seek with my children
I will tell them what they should know at 10 years old!
That’s if I don’t reduce it to 7.
The world is moving real quick
I was speaking to her last night and she told me that in the labor ward during the day time, a girl of fifteen years had given birth only for them to find out she has hepatitis b.
I sighed.
I wouldnt be surprised to hear that her parents are pastors and all.
Telling their kid about things as vital as sex could be a sin.
Sex??
What brought me to mother earth is what they hide.
Many girls have sat on their stories on molestation till they get married and have their own daughters.
You will see that they go on and train their daughters like they were trained.
With fear!
They will tell you it is our culture. That we are not whites.
Shatap!
The same culture that endorsed killing of twins.
The same culture that turned women to slaves of lowlifes who masqueraded as men.
The same culture that says that male children are better than female children.
They will say religion.
That religion doesn’t endorse sex education.
Okay. Maybe it endorses harms that are aftermaths of ignorance that could be stopped by knowledge!
In fact, argue with me not with culture and religion but with common sense!
To all of you with kids and planing to have kids, the ball is in your court.
But, the society which teaches your children faster has your balls in its palms.
Choose one.

Controversial OAP Daddy Freeze, has been challenged to a spiritual contest at National Stadium Abuja by Pastor Humble Okoro.
Well, trouble looms for the controversial Cool FM OAP as this well-known Niger Delta-based clergy draws a power challenge event with him.
In an already online trending invite, the clergy man who shared a description picture of the event, stated that, “this is not a debate, but a power clash meeting that will prove to Nigerians how Daddy freeze is demonized which will herald to his ostracism. Last April, I confirmed and certified him being possessed and tormented by 52 destiny destroying demons”.
According to multiple reports, this is not the first time Pastor Humble Okoro has put up a spiritual challenge with Daddy freeze which the later never showed up.
When the Pastor was asked of his expectation as regards to honoring of his invitation by Daddy freeze, he stated that: “you would remember this is not the first time I had sort to deliver Daddy freeze through this medium of challenge, but regrettably, he evicted. As I am speaking now, our workers are on plans to reach the relevant authorities as regards to having the event hosted in National Stadium Abuja, if only Freeze will pick a date. But if I am allowed to choose, December 25th serves a better date”.
Nigerian Actress, Victoria Inyama, recently had a chat with Sunday Sun, and she spoke about her life, career and what she thinks about homosexuality, while of talking about Bobrisky.
She says she admires the Cross-dresser’s guts a lot.. When she was asked about what she’d do if she had a chance to talk with Bobrisky One-on-one, she said;
“In Bobrisky I see a very tough person who can’t be bothered on how you feel about him. I admire his guts. He has chosen his path and is living it.”
Here’s Her Interview;
Generally, how has 2017 been for you?
Well, so far, I am so grateful to God regardless of anything and everything.
Talking movies, what is happening with you?
I still act in movies every now and then. It is my passion and though I may not be a full time actress, I will try whenever I get a good script.
What are you missing out on?
To be honest, I have not missed out on anything; we grow and evolve.
How are you coping as a Nigerian actress in the Diaspora?
Nigerian actress in the Diaspora? Well, I am doing just fine. We do as much as we can to remain in the industry (laughter).
Can you compare making of movies in the UK with Nigeria?
Wow! In terms of making movies over here, I can’t really compare. I was on a production set many years ago in Nigeria and I do know that there has been tremendous improvement now. However, here in the UK, Nollywood is still crawling. We have the technology and maybe to an extent, technical know- how, but due to time and financial investment constraints, we are limited to an extent.
What do you miss most about Nigeria?
What I miss most about Nigeria? I can’t think of anything I miss, to be honest. I still enjoy my life to the fullest in the UK.
Do you still find your favourite Nigerian dishes to eat over there?
Of course! I still eat my traditional dishes. I cook them and ensure my children know and eat them.
Are there chances you would come down to Nigeria to make movies any time soon?
Whenever time and chance permit, I will come to Nigeria for filming. I don’t have a production company for now.
How have you been coping with motherhood?
I have been enjoying motherhood, it is my best role. I cannot trade it for anything else in the world.
What’s your take on domestic violence?
Domestic violence is quite complicated. For a man or woman, it is not a good experience.
What would you advise any of your colleagues facing the issue?
There’s no point advising anyone going through domestic violence. It is not as easy to get out of as most people think. A victim would need a lot of support. Our society, based on culture and gender inequality, hardly frowns at it and has not set down strict rules to protect victims; it is so painful.
What has been the most memorable time of your marriage?
Giving birth to my three children has been the most memorable times.
Will you allow any of your children take up acting as career?
I would gladly support any of my children’s decision to take up acting or entertainment.
Any fond memories of your growing up days?
Fond memories of my growing up days are with my late grandmother. She taught me so much. Unfortunately, she taught me how to be an open and honest person. I say unfortunate, because the people in my generation are not as good as the people in her generation, so my openness and being nice are most times misunderstood for stupidity. Most people take advantage of this, but hard as I try, I can’t change.
What do you have to say to young up-and-coming actors?
To young upcoming actors and actresses, my only advice is to stay grounded and humble because pride always goes before a fall.
What is your say on this homosexuality trend?
“My say on the homosexuality trend is that everyone has the right to live their lives the way they deem fit and suitable as long as they don’t harm anyone. As a psychology student, I simply cannot judge anyone by whatever choices they make. Respect in diversity so we can all live in peace.”
If you have a chance to talk to Bobrisky one on one, what will you tell him?
In Bobrisky I see a very tough person who can’t be bothered on how you feel about him. I admire his guts. He has chosen his path and is living it.

Real Madrid and Wales football star, Gareth Bale is reportedly desperate to have multiple award winning Singer Beyonce, perform at his wedding to his fiancée Emma Rhys-Jones, next year.
The duo, who have two kids together, are in talks with Beyonce’s team in a bid to get the ‘Flawless’ singer to serenade guests at the ceremony after they must have exchanged wedding vows.
Beyonce, who is reputed to have a busy calendar not just as an entertainer but in the home front – where she is wife to rapper mogul husband, Jay Z and mother to five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and five-month-old twins Sir and Rumi, is expected to pocket £1.5m if she agrees to sing at the wedding.
The former Destiny Child’s singer is said to command a whopping appearance fee of £1.5million for private gigs and it remains to be seen if the 28-year-old football star, who collects £300,000-a-week at his club, will be keen on coughing out five weeks salary for Beyonce.
The wedding is due to take place in Italy and was delayed after Rhys-Jones’ father was imprisoned for fraud in the US.
The 25th of November 2017, was quite a memorable day as Nigerian singer, Oritsefemi rang the wedding bells with his lovely bride, Nabila Fash in Lagos.

A 17-year-old boy, identified as Divine Ikubor, has done what most people in their 20’s, 30’s are dreaming to do for their parents…… He bought his mother a car, a Lexus SUV, for around 3.4 million naira.
Divine, an upcoming singer, has shared the photos of the car on his Facebook page, and simply captioned it with, “Bought mom a car. At age 17. Thank you God??”
Remember the Lady, Christy Glo who says she meets and communicates with ghosts on a daily basis.?
She’s in the news again, and this time, it’s not a good one…
Christy yesterday took to Facebook to share a Live video where she was crying, contemplating of taking her own life.. Reason for this she says is because she’s beyond depressed.
She then pretended to have gone through with the suicide, by replying her messages on Facebook pretending to be her elder sister, and confirming that Christy was indeed dead, and already being taken for burial.
Folks who knew her personally paid her a visit, only to discover that she was apparently “playing a prank”…
She then took to her Facebook to reveal that she was actually depressed, but pretended to have committed suicide all because some of her friends and business partners were suggesting they’d be happy to see her dead.
Even the most formidable nobility in the world transforms into a lady’s fool, when caught in the pleasure trove of love.
You can tell what effect billionaire, Festus Fadeyi’s romance with OAP, Toke Makinwa, has on his family by his children’s unfathomable misery and bitter reaction to their relationship. Toke arouses despise from Fadeyi’s children.
That is why they desperately seek her exit from their father’s life. Like angry runts seeking to fall a veteran gladiator, Fadeyi’s children tirelessly engage in never-ending plots to extricate their dear father from the perceived web of Toke’s allure.
At first, their fears were deemed unfounded by family friends, close and distant relatives, but ever since their father completed his sprawling mansion in Ikoyi, the children have become very worried about the possibility of seeing Toke hop in the master bedroom with their father.
Fadeyi’s children are very angry with the way he splurges on his love interest, Toke. They believe he is squandering too much money on her at a time he is heavily indebted to Skye Bank.
Recall that the well-heeled founder and CEO of Pan Ocean Corporation, an indigenous independent oil firm, acquired a multi-billion naira loan from Skye Bank. His indebtedness to the bank is estimated at N196 billion few months ago.
Notwithstanding, Fadeyi spends extravagantly on Toke. For instance, he allegedly bought her a brand new Range Rover 2016 model worth over N50 million. He is also responsible for her acquisition of top of the line and very expensive designer bags, shoes and apparels. From Louboutin, Bottega, Chanel, Louis Vuitton to Hermes among others, Fadeyi spoils Toke silly with the most pricey ware.
Thus the world’s most expensive designer brands are mere names on Toke’s list. The popular social media big girl considers Selfridges and Harrods as ordinary shopping points at the moment,. Whenever she visits London, United Kingdom (UK) via business class or first class flights paid for by Fadeyi, she spares no expenses at the city’s posh shopping points.
It is very interesting to note that Fadeyi foots such outrageous bills for Toke while he wallows in loan debt to his bank. What Fadeyi’s children find alarming however, is Toke’s continual neglect of her lover’s precarious financial situation.
Consequently, they have declared war against her, warning her to leave their father alone. Frightened by the undisguised animosity, Toke has resorted to extreme measures to avoid their wrath or unpalatable encounters with them. For instance, she now tries to steal around town incognito by covering her vehicle’s number plate with leather.
Wizkid has finally broken silence on not attending neither of Banky W’s wedding..
Recall, the starboy revealed how sad and depressed he was after he was unable to attend the Traditional Wedding, which went down in Victoria Island, Lagos..
…and then he said He’d definitely not miss the White wedding, as he’d be the FIRST ONE to be present at the Wedding venue.
Here’s what he wrote on His Instagram and Snapchat below, after missing the traditional wedding…
We all of course, expected to See pictures of the Starboy in South Africa for Banky’s wedding, but then, he disappointed us all, as he didn’t attend, as widely speculated..
This of course angered some fans online, and they trooped to his instagram to call him names, “Proud and arrogant”.. It’s just dirty. (Read The Comments Here).
Some defended him, and some trusted sources who spoke to YabaLeftOnline said his passport was withheld, reason for his absence in South Africa.. the source further told us that one of Adesua’s Bestie, suffered the same fate, as she could not also attend the Wedding in SA, because her passport was withheld too.
Looks like our source is true as Wizkid just confirmed that the reason for his absense at the wedding has something to do with his passport.
He wrote: “God bless my big bro @bankywellington and our new wife @adesuaetomi ❤️ God will bless you with happiness and abundance of Joy as u start your new life together! Missing this day is something that will forever make me sad, But this is not about me, its abt you! Enjoy ! Happiness and love forever ! ❤️❤️ #Stillwaitingonmypassport”

A beautiful Female student of Imo State University, Ogamba Angel Chiamaka who recently graduated from the universit and defended her project, has died.
Friends, colleagues and students of the prestigous university are currently mourning the death of Angel, who reportedly slumped and died on Friday, November 24th, just after her project defense.
Late Ogamba, was known for her great sense of humour, cheerful personality and friendly attitude.
A story is currently trending on Twitter and not only is it a bizarre version of life’s ironical happenstances but it’s also rather shocking of what happens to good people when they do good things.
One David on Twitter has shared the real life story of how three of his friends slept with the same girl, in the same house… on the same day… at different time intervals.
According to David, it all started with a bet that was made between two friends on that particular girl and then, there came the third, who said he should try his luck on her too…
But when it was David’s turn, things got complicated and later on… he received the shock of his life! Read his story below and tell us what you think…
The girl should be atleast 24yrs then… My guy brought her home, I don’t know how long or short time they’ve known each other but he had sex with her that very day he brought her home for the first time
So my guy to my other guy that he had sex with this girl for the first time he came home with him… Then my other guy said he can also have sex with her anytime she brings her home after wooing her, the first guy said it’s a lie, then the other guy asked for her number
The first guy gave out the number and the bet was on 1k bet… So the other guy called her a week later invited her to the same house… The girl came and never acted as if she had been in that house before, same room
The guy bought her coke and gala… Then they had sex that same day,so this very 2nd guy went outside to call the 1st guy that he has won the bet that the so called girl is in the room and I was the witness cus I was hearing her her moaning from the parlour
So the 1st came to confirm… He went inside asif he was looking for something… You know nah guys flat, so he opened the door so her laying down and the girl be like where have you been, I wanted to surprise you with a visit she said.
My guy aka the first guy was shocked but still played along, he said she should have called next time but no shit, then ask who bought the coke and gala for you, she said she bought it while coming… My guy played along
Meanwhile the 2nd guy went outside listening to their conversation from the window, I was in the parlour laughing to the drama cus it was funny
Then this guy closed the door, then had sex with the girl… The other guy was watching from the window seeing the whole thing, then when he was done he came out and then called the other guy to come in
So they both started laughing and gisting me everything inside the parlour where I was… I was like is she mad ni… Then one of the friend of the 1st knocked and came into the house, they narrated the story to him, he was like wtf, the girl cheap bdat ooo
If I try my luck me sef fit fuck her ooo he said… The two guys said he should enter and try is luck… I was like are guys mad ni, they lol and the 3rd guy went in, we heard him talking to the and the convo was normal and till the girl started crying, me thinking she won’t
Accept until we heard nothing ooo, next thing she started moaning, the 3rd guy was already digging, the 3rd lasted longer on her and she was making with the sound of enjoyment… I was shocked at the door side where I was getting the whole sound effect of the sex
The guy came out sweating and smiling with his jeans sagging down with his boxers… I was like like seriously wtf, he went to the fridge to water and started Gist the 3 of us… Now it was my time to go in to try.
They were telling me go you go fuck am… I said OK so I went in found her naked, cup cake boobs and smooth skin and curve portable ass.
Then I said sup angel… She looked up and started crying, you too, plss don’t, I was shocked and be like what kinda luck do I have like this, my dick went down instantly.
Deep inside my mind, if I try to force her it’s gonna be a rape thing which I can’t cus I don’t see sense in having forceful sex when the other party is not interested and in pain.
Meanwhile other guys had already been looking from the window side from outside cus the cotton was slightly opened, I stood looking at her, thinking of the worst that can happen but with the tears dropping from her eyes I couldn’t think less.
So I approached her, sat on the bed, picked her clothes, her bra and black pant, told her, I won’t touch you, I can’t stand you crying and still wanna have sex with you… She said thank you sir.
So she started dressing up, helped her pinned her bra, watched her dressed up from her nakedness.
Then I cleaned her face… Sat her down, asked her if she wanted anything, she said she’s OK but I should get her cold water and then powder to make up that she wanna start going that her madam will be worried about her by now.
I stood up, went to get her powder and went to the parlour to the kitchen to get her water… Opened the door met all the guys and they be like what happened, what’s all the rubbish, am I trying to form the boy is good or what.
I said no… That me I want her to relax before I sex her… They knew I was lying so they started going out of the flat one by one, so I went for the water, came back in, we started talking normal as if nothing happened.
So she was feeling fine and normal, then she said can she wait a little longer, I was like but your madam nko, she said I should forget her joor, that she’s even tired of her.
She started telling me how her madam was hard on her… I asked madam of what, she said she works in a saloon… I said OK, we chatted for like another hour, then I reminded her it’s getting dark you should start going but she should give me her number so I can get back to her.
She gave me her number then asked for tfare… I gave her 1k two 500… I saw her off to where she can’t get bike going to fagba…
2hrs later I called her she dint pick… Called her again she dint pick, so I waited for another 1hr so I then called again… ONLY for me to hear what I will never forget in my life.
Hello who is this, I said me David the guy who saw you off after that little incident in so so place… She said you the impotent guy who can’t fuck, you are useless plss don’t call my fone again… Impotent oshi… I said ehnn? Hello, she cut the call.
I almost killed myself that day with serious deep thinking… Me impotent, me David oghe impotent, I called her back, the fone rang then switched off… I could not tell any of those 3guys what happened after they left.
I was called an impotent for doing the right… but men in general are still scum
Some fans have been outraged over the action of Nigerian singer, Wizkid – being absent at his former EME boss, Banky W’s wedding in Cape Town – after he failed to fulfill the promise he made some days back.
The singer, who presumably was sad that he couldn’t make it to the traditional wedding of Banky W about a week ago, promised that he was gonna be there at his white wedding in Cape town.
Banky’s wife, Adesua Etomi.
Banky’s white wedding was yesterday and photos flew around social media from the event and everyone kept searching for one where Wizkid featured but none was found.
Banky’s Groomsmen.
This made fans realise that he didn’t after all fulfill his promise and this has caused them to come for him – some are so angry that they even referred to him as “proud and arrogant”.
Renowned Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola was in the news last week when pictures of himself and colleagues signing out after their final exams in the University of Lagos emerged online.
In a new interview with SUNDAY SCOOP, the actor talked about his experience at the school and stated that he might go back to further his education.
He said; “It has been by the grace of God that I was able to conclude my education at the University of Lagos. Because of my profession, there were times that my schedule was so tight that I had to forgo one for the other.
But I always had it at the back of my mind that I must finish what I started. I also thank my fellow students and lecturers for their support throughout my stay in the school. I really had a nice time there,” he said.
“I have always had the dream of owning my company. I love to manage people to achieve set goals, and I believe that this course would help me in that regard.”

On what his next move is in academics, the actor added,
“Knowledge gathering is a continuous process; it never stops. One should never stop learning because you can never know it all. I may decide to return to school to study another course. I don’t know what the future holds. I am interested in constantly developing myself and that has been of great advantage to me.”
Barcelona FC star player, Lionel Messi, has in a new interview, revealed that he does not have a personal relationship with his counterpart, Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Argentine star in a chat with MARCA, stated that he doesn’t know if he will ever be friends with the portugese player.
He said;
“I do not know if we will be [friends]m” he told Marca . “Friendship is something that is built through spending time together and getting to know each other.
“We have no relationship, but mostly because we only see each other in the awards ceremonies and it is the only time we speak. At that moment everything is fine, but then we do not cross paths again.”
Messi was speaking following the presentation of his European Golden Shoe award where he refused to discuss his future.
The Argentine playmaker, who won the award for the fourth time after scoring 37 league goals last season, has not yet signed the new deal the club say he has agreed, meaning he will be free to join another team next season.
Nigerian singer, Timaya has finally reacted to Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale’s diss – where the latter claimed Timaya isn’t a dancehall artiste and he should still be selling plantain chips.
In reaction to this, Timaya says he doesn’t know any Shatta Wale, adding whether he is a plumber or a shoemaker.
Singer, Timaya.
Timaya in a video said:
“So people said I should make a diss track for Shatta Wale, please who is Shatta Wale. Is he a singer, shoemaker or a plumber?”
Curvaceous IG celebrity, Roman Goddess and her friend caused quite a stir with their revealing outfits at singer, Oritsefemi and Nabila’s wedding in Lagos yesterday.
Comedian, Seyilaw was one of the celebrity guests at the nuptial and he took a photo with the curvy ladies that turned heads at the ceremony and gave it an hilarious caption.
So a Nigerian guy, simply identified as Olasukanmi, is currently raving online for obvious reasons – everyone can’t help but muse at the PDA he packed with his foreign lover on social media.
Olasukanmi and his white plus-sized lover, has everyone’s eyes fixed at them as he a video of him kissing her and another of them taking a walk together emerges online.

The hole you’re living in must really be a deep one for you not to be aware of all the fuss of #BAAD2017!
Social media has been clouded with reports and photos of the glamorous event that featured some of Nigeria’s finest celebrities. (See here for photos)
Well, you know how Nigerian social media can go all Sherlock Holmes when it comes to happenstances like this yeah?
Well, just like they dug out a report from last year when Banky said he wanted a low key wedding (see here), well, they’ve dug out one for his bride and this has to do with her hairstyle.
So sometime, in 27 July, 2015, presumably the time when it was the trend of keeping Natural hair and all, Aunt Susu, who partook in the trend, was so engrossed in it that she even said she’d rock the style on her big day.

Well, fast forward to recently, her big day came and oh well… We don’t see anything natural on her hair, do we?
A Nigerian singer, who’s based in the United States, identified as Kelvin Sean, has called out Skales and Samklef, as he releases some screenshots of his Whatsapp chat with skales.
Kelvin Sean.
Here’s what he said;
“According to him, ‘Humans can be really ungrateful and truly wicked. This is Skales; Nigerian afrobeats artist. I called him out on his page for being a fake nigga and he blocks me.”
“Here is the background story: In and around February 2014, i flew to Lagos from Toronto, to work on my music. This was just shortly after skales was dropped by EME, we met and worked on a song together (my song tittled “Down Low” produced by Samklef). Skales was paid for the feature. He was also really impressed with my style. Mind you this studio session took place at a hotel in Lekki Phase 1′.”
“The next afternoon, i went back to the hotel to grab the mix of the track from Samklef. On getting to the hotel, Skales approached me. We went into his hotel room; where there were a few producers, Including popular producers Jay Pizzle and Kenny Wonder. Going from the vybz from the previous night’s studio session, Skales played me the beat to “Shake body”. At that point, he had already recorded the first verse (the english part of the song).”
“He told me he was stuck and wanted me to vibe to it. I listened to the beat and wrote the French “Faro Faro” infused stlye lyrics to the song, with the exact flows he used to record the actual final mix of the song.”
“Knowing fully well what he was going through at the time; being dropped from EME and just doing his thing at the time, i encouraged him and told him “Shake body” was the hit that would finally break him to the world. I didn’t know Skales for more than a day at that point’.”
“I didnt ask him for money. I didn’t even ask him for credit. Instead i offered him my friendship. A friendship he was always fake about. He even coluded with Samklef to Scam me off 1.2million naira in 2014.”
“Samklef told me he was going to contract the video Shoot for the Song in which i featured Skales to @unlimitedla. I paid him the sum total of N1.2 million all cost included. On the day of the shoot, Samklef told me he was going to direct the video himself, and that Unlimited LA wasn’t available to direct the video shoot.”
“Reluctantly, i agreed to it. And the end result was a video i turned down; due to it being very much below standard. I asked for my refund Samklef wrote me a bounced cheque and till date hasn’t refunded my N1.2 million. Skales says i just became his enemy, but in truth he never treated me as a friend. Always on that fakeness”.
“Truth be told, only real recognize real. Why did i decide to speak up? As you can see from Skales’ responses in our chat on WhatsApp, he believes I dont have a voice; however, I’m no pushover. On a normal day Skales ain’t on my level. Let it be known today that all cards will be counted”.
Yakubu Galadima, the lawyer for the whistle-blower, who informed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of the $43m, N23.2m and £27,800 (N13bn) recovered from an Ikoyi apartment, says his client will not accept anything below five per cent commission.
Galadima said this during a chat with one of our correspondents on Saturday.
The Secretary of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, at an event on Thursday titled, ‘Tracking Noxious Funds’, which was organised by Kent University Law School and Human and Environmental Development Agency, had explained that any whistle-blower, who helped the government to recover anything above N1bn would receive less than five per cent commission.
Owasanoye, who was part of the team that drafted the whistle-blower policy had said, “If you blow the whistle and the government recovers cash, you are entitled to between 2.5 per cent and five per cent. The maximum limit is five per cent.
“According to the policy, if you blow the whistle and it is below N500m, you get four to five per cent because the higher the amount that is recovered, the lower the percentage that is given. This is the global best practice.
“If the recovery is between N500m and N1bn, you get three to four per cent (commission). If it is N1bn and above, it is 2.5 per cent. Indeed, there is a clause that we included in the policy to say that the government may determine the amount to be awarded based on other criteria provided that the amount to be awarded doesn’t exceed five per cent. In other words, the government may actually pay less than 2.5 per cent but nobody can be paid more than five per cent.”
However, the Ikoyi whistle-blower’s lawyer told SUNDAY PUNCH on Saturday that his client would not accept anything less than five per cent.
When asked if his client would accept anything less than five per cent, he said, “Not at all.”
Galadima had stated last week that the commission his client was expecting from the Federal Government was N860m and not N325m.
He had also stated that the commission should be paid based on the exchange rate at the time the money was recovered and not the current one.
Attempts to get comments from the Ministry of Finance were not successful as calls and a text message sent to the Director of Information in the ministry, Mr. Salisu Dambatta, were not responded to.
Beneficiary to be paid before Thursday, says ministry official
Meanwhile, there are indications that the Ministry of Finance is awaiting the final clearance from the EFCC before it can pay the Ikoyi whistleblower.
Officials in the ministry confided in one of our correspondents that the whistle-blower was expected to be paid before the end of this month.
However, it was gathered that while the ministry was ready to make the payment, the move could be delayed as administrative work was still ongoing on the issue.
The official said the ministry had put in place detailed procedures for processing payments under the whistle-blower policy.
These procedures, according to the official, were designed to prevent abuse, legal disputes and to ensure protection of the information providers.
He stated that the identity of the information provider must be verified, adding that there would be calculation of the amount payable and computation of relevant taxes.
The source stated, “The ministry of finance is not directly involved in the recovery of looted fund; that is the responsibility of the various security agencies.
“Our role is to make payment and you will recall that last week, the finance minister said payment would be made this month to the person who assisted in the recovery of looted funds including the Ikoyi whistle-blower.
“That process is on and final payment can be released when we receive confirmation from the agency that made the recovery before we can know who to pay money to.
“In the case of the Ikoyi recovery, we are talking of the EFCC which is the agency that made the recovery and once they give us final confirmation, payment would be made.”
In a related development, Owasanoye has revealed that violation of the directive regarding the Treasury Single Account by government agencies and officials tops the list of recoveries made from the whistle-blower policy.
Owasanoye said, “As of the end of October, over 5,000 whistles had been blown and about 75 per cent of that came from phone calls. So, you can report on the website, email, text message or phone call.
“What are the things that the various communications have covered? Contract inflation, ‘ghost workers’, payment of unapproved funds, embezzlement of salaries, diversion of excess crude funds, improper reduction of financial penalties, diversion of funds meant for people, placing money in a commercial bank, non-remittance of deduction of pensions or NHIS and failure to implement projects.
“Others include embezzlement of funds received from donors, embezzlement of payment meant for personnel emoluments, violation of TSA which is the highest, violation of FIRS regulations, non-procurement of safety equipment, money laundering, illegal sale of government assets, diversion of IGR which is the second largest, financial misappropriation, concealed bailout funds, mismanagement of micro-finance banks and illegal recruitment.”

So, there’s a drama currently happening on Twitter, as a Lady has accused a popular Blogger and PR, of raping her.
It all started when a Twitter user, @BiggieMonzie revealed a “movement” currently happening in most Nigerian University, they tag as “R and B”, which translates to “Rape and Beg”..
“There’s a “movement” in most Nigerian Uni called “R and B”, when i found out the meaning i felt sick. And some niggaz actually confess to engaging in the “movement” with pride. Beats me.”
For those wondering it’s “Rape and Beg” where a man will rape and then start begging after “I just love you so much”, “Its the devil that took over me”, “I feel like dying I have never done this please forgive me unless I’ll kill myself”.
“The man is foolish but the most foolish person is the girl that will accept his apology and not tell” a user responded to the above tweets;
Then another Twitter user, @udala__ decided to share her story, on How a blogger, Ibrahim Salawu popularly known as Unilagolodo raped her, and began begging her.
Read Her story below;
“In light of this, along with recent events, I’d like to call someone out for rape. Please turn on my post notifications, thank you.”
“I’m going to @ him at the end of this thread, but first the story behind it. I’ll try as much as possible to include every material detail”
“I met this guy through someone I considered my best friend, who in turn met him through her own boyfriend. He had previously come to see me in school with the two of them, bought me dinner, etc, we talked and I thought he was a nice guy so we became friends over a short time”
“Me and my best friend had talked about going to see him and spend the weekend at his place because school was boring and he had free Wi-Fi etc, she went to his place a number of times and I never had time because school work was hectic. “
“Finally, one Saturday I had time.”
“It’s sad that I no longer have screenshots of my chat with him, but we agreed that I would spend the night with him and be back the following day. And we did agree that I was visiting on a strictly platonic level.”
“He even made me feel a bit foolish for suggesting that he’d want sex if I visit, so I assumed he was sane. He ordered an uber and I was on my way.”
“Uber got to the Island and got lost looking for his house, we finally found him and he asked the uber to drop us at the closest domino’s. It was already late by now and domino’s was nearly closing. We ordered pizza and ice cream and waited for another uber.”
“By the time we got to his place I was already sleepy, and he didn’t seem to find any entertainment (we were supposed to watch HTGAWM online but he couldn’t find a good site) so I just decided to eat and sleep. We were on the same bed but slept on opposite sides at first”
“But then he started getting all cuddly and I wasn’t comfortable for a number of reasons, so I pushed him away a couple of times. Then he begged and said it would just be cuddling and I let him.”
“Didn’t take too long for cuddling to become another thing, started touching sensitive areas of my body and moving down my pants. It wasn’t even hard for him because I removed my jeans and changed into shorts. The entire time I’m pushing him away, he’ll pause, then continue”
“Got to a point I left the bed for him, I even told him I’ll be just as comfortable sleeping in the bath tub, then he came back and begged me to sleep on the bed again. So I did, and he left me for a while.”
“But again he started touching me, took off the shorts completely and started giving me oral, that’s when I really started struggling and fighting him off, mostly because I had a boyfriend and I never wanted it to get to that point.”
“Didn’t take long for him to slide in, there was already saliva all over my vagina, and from there crying and begging couldn’t help me. He was looking at me the entire time, but it was like my face was invisible. He didn’t stop until he came. Then when he was done he left me”
“Then he started begging me, telling me he never planned for this to happen, and that he really likes me and he just wanted to spend time with me. After a while I left the corner where I had been crying and I went and locked myself in his bathroom. He started calling and texting”
“Threatening to break down the door so we can talk. Talk about what? “
“The following day was Sunday, I came out before 7 I think. Spent the night in the bathroom blaming myself, wondering what I’ll tell my boyfriend, etc. When I came out he continued his epistle from last night.”
“Telling me he likes me etc. I told him to call me an uber, he did. I didn’t say anything to him, I do swear that I would shame him, for me it was just “pass my card. Pass my jeans” etc. I didn’t even know what to say, or if talking was even enough.”
“Before I left he gave me money for uber and postinor. I got to school and went to church. Came back and after a while I told my boyfriend and we talked about it, and I had to go around the hostel pretending I didn’t know why my eyes were swollen.”
“I blocked him. “
“I told my friend about it, and instead of her to relate with me and be understanding, she started investigating me, making me blame myself and doubt the validity of my story.”
“Instead of confronting him herself, she made me unblock him so she could hear his explanation. She made me reach out to my rapist, I don’t know which is more traumatic between being raped and being forced to reach out to the rapist.”
“Too bad she’s not on twitter, but I’ll still mention him. “
“When I reached out to him he said I’m painting him as a villain, and I actually let him know that I can take action against him, not as a threat, but as a fact. He kept saying he never intended for it to happen”
“He had the guts to ask if we could still be cool. I actually regret not speaking up early, this happened in June this year. When I had enough of his excuses I blocked him again. I’ve since lost that number so he can’t contact me on it.”
“I spoke about this yesterday with @OtunbaBillz and he went to his dm. This is what @OtunbaBillz told me he said about the whole thing”
“Lol I’m blackmailing him, for what? Money? A 5.0CGPA? He kept saying he never intended for it to get this far and that this looks like a setup. Ok.”
“Ladies and gentlemen, the man I’m referring to is @unilagolodo”
“I know a lot of you follow him. You’d know him.”
“I’m tired of trying to forgive something like this. I deserve peace too, before I’ll hear one day that he’s happily married, and the wound opens up all over again. I feel like if I come out with this, I’ll feel like a little justice has been done.”
Unilag Olodo.
UnilagOlodo has since responded to the accusation.. He simply wrote on his Twitter page;
“I just woke up and saw I’ve been accused of rape. I know Tobi. I DID NOT RAPE HER. RAPE IS A HEINOUS CRIME. I AM NOT A RAPIST. GOD WILL VINDICATE ME IN ALL THAT WILL FOLLOW. ??”
He continued; “Rape is a very serious crime, and false accusation of rape is also a very serious crime. Other than treat this crime as Social Media drama, I’ll let Law Enforcement handle it.”
