I need advice because am so devastated. I got married to my husband 7 years ago with 3 beautiful kids, a girl and 2 boys

My husband is that perfect men any woman would ever prayer for. i have never suspected him for once not until last year September that i saw some frequent call from a particular no, i decided to take the no and store on my own phone, i suspected he was cheating but i did not have any evidence to prove it.

So last month, i activated an automatic call recording on his phone and here i am, all my doubt were confirmed, i decided not to ask him as i laid down my own plans too, i took his phone and scan his Whatsapp QR code and i deactivated the notification so he wont know. So with this, i was able to view all his chat directly from my phone through this chat i saw that the lady was around at his place yesterday morning and i traveled in the evening because we don’t live in the same state due to transfer.

I took my children to my sisters place and i traveled, looo and behold this lady was wearing only paint and bra in my husbands room although i gave both of them good dirty slap of their life, and i told her i have details of his guy and that i was going to call and let him know the kind of girl she is

so now to cut the long story short this lady has a fiance which is planning to wed her because i got to her Instagram page and Facebook page and i saw that she has a very good guy at her hand thus made me sad because i don’t know why she would cheat with my husband even after having a good relationship.

My decision is that am planning to call this guy through Facebook call and send him all the recording and Whatapp chat between her fiance and my husband.

I just want to know if am making the right decision

As for my husband , he will meet me at home

45-year-old man caught bonking neighbor’s 12-year-old daughter in toilet

Samuel Ukpa, a 45-year-old resident of Oluwadare Street at Fola Agoro area, Shomolu, Lagos State, may, forever, live to curse his insatiable libido which has now landed him in trouble and public shame.

The man, popularly known as Baba Emma was allegedly caught pants down having *x, inside the toilet, with his neighbour’s 12-year-old daughter.

The incident, Saturday Sun gathered, occurred Thursday when the pre-teen girl (name withheld) was asked to wash some sacks her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Amah, use to cover her pot of boiled corn which she sells at the street corner. As the girl went about the business, Ukpa called her and lured her into one of the toilets for a quick session of s*x.

Residents told Saturday Sun that they suspect that Ukpa’s mind was so filled with the thought of sex. He even failed to notice that one of their neighbours was inside the adjoining toilet. The neighbour raised the alarm on hearing a strange noise.

“We rushed to the scene when we heard shouts from neighbouring compound only to catch Baba Emma trying to force the girl through water channel into the other toilet”, a resident Biola Ojo disclosed.

It was the timely intervention of police patrol team of the Alade Division, Shomolu that saved Ukpa from being lynched. Some of the neighbours told Saturday Sun, that they have always suspected Ukpa to be a serial paedophile who entices little girls with gifts and then defile them.

“I gathered from residents that Baba Emma on many occasions was spotted at different corners in the community enticing her with edibles like noodles, soft drinks, biscuits etc”, Comrade Toyin Okanlawon, Coordinator, Child Protection Network (CPN) in Shomolu and Bariga axis, added.

Okanlawon hinted that the police after arresting the suspect, CPN ensured he was immediately transferred to the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command for necessary action and prosecution.

However, although the victim’s mother, a petty trader, in one of the Lagos-based tertiary institutions is not willing to press charges against her daughter’s defiler, Okanlawon insisted that he law must take its full course.

“The girl has been treated at Mirabel Centre LASUTH, where other medical findings will be sent to the Gender Unit of the Police. The hearing will come up on October 12, 2017, at the Ikeja Magistrate Court,” he informed. “Though Mrs. Amah was not willing to press charges against the suspect, Lagos State has zero tolerance for rape and defilement, and the interest of the child is key to the Police.”

“Nigerians, Where Did Your Decency Disappear To? – Buhari’s Adviser On Media And Publicity, Femi Adesina Writes.

Femi Adesina Writes

A new article by President Buhari’s adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, titled “Wanted: A Restructuring of Minds“, talks about how Nigerians have lost their morals and is inability to understand why.

He says some of them speak as though they’re in “the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.”.

It reads:

Hearing some Nigerians speak (whether based at home or in the Diaspora) you discern that they are “in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.” They spew out things that give them away as “whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones.”

What happened to grace? Where did decency disappear to? Are words not to be seasoned with salt again? What has happened to us as a people? The more rotten, the better, it seems. The fouler and odoriferous the cesspit, the more attractive, followed by applause. That seems to be the philosophy of some people today, and it doesn’t matter who they are. High or low. But we cannot continue that way, if we want to be acceptable to God, and to our fellow human beings. National development does not come by a sudden flight. You work at it.

The sing-song in the country today is restructuring of the polity. We want more states. We want a return to regional structure. We want a revision of the revenue allocation formula. We want six vice presidents, one from each geo-political zone. We want those zones to be the federating units, rather than the states. And so on, and so forth.

In fact, so loud is the cacophony of voices over restructuring that if you ask 100 people what they mean, they give you 100 different explanations. But as a country, I believe we will get there someday. And soon.

However, is political restructuring the most urgent thing Nigeria needs now? I don’t think so. For me, what is more urgent is the restructuring of the Nigerian mind. A mind that sees the country as one, that believes that we have a future and a hope, that believes that we are one people under God. But what we see now is ruinous for any country. It is hemlock, bound to poison the entire polity, and send it to a premature perdition.

On Tuesday, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced that we had exited from economic recession. It was cheery news for majority of Nigerians, save for those in the gall of bitterness. They spat in the sky, and collected the spittle with their faces. Who gave Nigeria the permission to exit recession? Who gave her the audacity of hope? How can the economy attempt to rebound, when it should sink deeper and deeper into the miry clay? They were in the doldrums, unhappy because good news came for the country.

In their befuddled minds, Nigeria must never see a silver lining in the sky. The ravening clouds must ever remain victorious, must forever possess the sky, simply because of primordial reasons. The party in power is not my own, so why should Nigeria make progress under it? The President in office was not the one I voted for, so why should he succeed? He does not speak my language, he is not of my religion or ethnic stock, so why must Nigeria prosper under him? They, therefore, throw all sorts of tantrums, like a child whose lollipop is taken away, and attempt to rubbish the news on exit from recession. And those same people would canvass for a restructuring of the polity. Big mistake. Wrong priority. They need to have their minds restructured first, so that they have goodwill towards their own country, and towards all men. Left to them, they wish that when NBS releases results for the next quarter, Nigeria should have gone back into recession. Filthy dreamers! Awful imaginations! They need a restructuring of their minds, and quickly, too.

Some people spend their lifetime expecting thunderstorms and hurricanes, so they never enjoy showers of blessing. Their addled minds expect negative news, so they never enjoy good tidings. They are the type that swallow poison, and then begin to hope that it will kill the person next door. Restructuring, restructuring, that is what such minds need.

Chase after him. If you catch up with him, kill him. If he outruns you, poison his footsteps. That is the chant in most parts of the country today. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Hate has become their natural language. When they speak hateful words, they speak their native language, their mother tongue. Don’t mind the elevated offices they occupy now, or which they have occupied in the past. They are in the throes, in the paroxysms of bitterness. Only a restructuring of the mind can save them.

My dear senior friend, Ikemba Obosima, from Imo State, has good counsel for them, in a text message he sent to one of them recently, which he copied me:”Pain will follow him who speaks or acts with evil thoughts, as does the wheel of the foot of him who draws the cart. He is greater man who conquers self than he who kills a thousand men in war…Love will purify the heart of him who is beloved as truly as it purifies the heart of he who loves.” But will they listen? If they have not danced too far, and have not become like the dog fated to get lost, which refuses to hear the whistle of the hunter. Let them return home, to sanity.

The National Bureau of Statistics announced our descent into recession. They embraced the news, almost with sickening glee. Now, the same agency has announced exit, and they begin to question its impartiality. What kind of people are they? They want to hear only bad news? May their minds be restructured, lest bad news dog their footsteps. Malediction? Am I cursing anybody? Not at all. Just a warning, and a call to new attitude, new thoughts, new conduct. The things we expect have a way of coming upon us. Ask the biblical Job. “What I feared has come upon me. What I dreaded has happened to me.”(Job 3:25).

One of the characteristics of a hateful mind is that it conjures a lot of mischief, and purveys same as truth. And the gullible laps it up. During the health challenge of our dear President, a thing common to any mortal, big or small, of high or low estate, they filled the land with evil tidings. Oh, he is on life support machine. No, he is dead and long buried. He will never return to that office, I swear. And then, God did what He knows how to do best. He showed the Deus ex machina, His Invisible Hands. Now, the reputation of those people is hanging on life support. If only men would restructure their minds!

President Buhari says exit from recession is cheery news, but until the life of the average Nigerian is positively touched by the economy, he doesn’t consider the job done. Very good. Even the NBS, which brought the good news, says the economy is still fragile, and the good work must continue, so that we don’t slide back. That is exactly what this government would do. That is the motive behind the ERGP (Economic Reconstruction and Growth Plan). So, let nobody be filled with diabolic thoughts. Government does not feel it is there yet. Action stations! All hands on deck.

A final word for haters, wailers, purveyors of fake news, or whatever you choose to call them. Evil minds wax worse and worse. A hater would envy others unnecessarily. He would conjure evil thoughts that would poison his system. He would manifest all sorts of negative tendencies that turn him into a proper child of the Devil. And at the end of it all, his master welcomes him home with open arms. “Abandon hope all ye who enter here.” (Dante’s Inferno). And there will be plenty weeping, and gnashing of teeth

She also recalled how she felt when she found out she was pregnant, and also her parent’s reaction to her pregnancy.

“I was demoralised. I was finished! I was frustrated! My parents were disgusted at my sight. It was my cross, so I had to carry it. I decided I was going to keep the baby even if I wasn’t married.

It turned out to be the best decision I have made. I am not saying it is good to get pregnant at a young age and have a baby but whatever choices you make, you need to know there are consequences and you have to get ready to face the consequences.

I was ready to face mine and I will not advise anybody to get pregnant at a young age. But if you get pregnant, abortion is not the next step.”

“Fans, especially in Lagos see me as their ATM” — Actor Ramsey Nouah

Actor Ramsey Nouah

In a recent chat with the Sun Newspaper, Award-winning Nollywood Actor Ramsey Nouah opened up about his “feminine role” in the Nollywood movie, My wife & I, and also talked about fame.

Read Excerpts from the interview below;

How are you, Ramsey?

I’m good. I’m good.

Your role in ‘My Wife And I’ was kind of weird…

It was weird, yeah.

How did you manage to get into that role?

Trust me, it wasn’t fun at all. It was very awkward. Every time I had to play that part, I was always like ‘ha!’ I hated it. But professional ethics demand that you do stuffs that you need to do.

What was the experience like playing the role of a woman and costumed in female attires?

You know, women are passionate about men trying to be like them. I don’t know what it is. It excites them. Everywhere I go, I remember the red carpet, it was the same thing. All the girls are like ‘how do you feel playing a woman?’ It wasn’t fun, honestly.

Ramsey Nouah. Photo credit: Instagram/ramseynouah

But was it challenging?

Of course it was challenging. You have to get into the character. You know…doing what your mum usually does or what your wife does or what your sister does and all of that which is much unlike you. There’s something about it.

Would you describe it as the most challenging role you’ve taken?

Oh, no. Not exactly. It’s not mentally demanding. Don’t get me wrong. It’s just that there are some morals than challenge and that’s why when I was doing it, I had a bit of reservation, but of course I still tried to pull it through. This is like comedy; it’s nothing serious, so we could play with it. Besides, it was pretty hard for me to get those gestures and mannerisms but my colleague helped me out with it. So, how do your fans relate to you, in response to the movie?

A few of them felt like ‘Arrgh! Gosh! How would you ridicule Ramsey Nouah so much? How would you bring him down so much like that?’ But to me, it’s not bad, to me it’s a professional thing, yeah, it’s what you must do.

What convinced you to take up the role of a woman in My Wife And I?

It’s because of the challenging part. It’s because I’ve never done it before. I think I did something some years back but that one was like I was an undercover, so I dressed like a woman. Those were years back; early 2000. I dressed like a woman; they tied gele and scarf for me and I was like (mimics a female voice) ‘hey what are you talking about?’ I did all of that but this one is different. There’s a message to this one and the message is very simple -what are the conflicts in marriages and why are marriages always having problems?

You’re over 40 years and you’re still looking good. What is the secret?

I think it is just joy from within. A whole lot of people tend to pack up a lot of bad belle, you know, vexing over this and that. That brings about… so just smile; a beautiful smile everyday could take you a long way.

What has fame done to you?

Fame has had its benefits. Good plays, good moments, umm… and it has its downsides. A lot of people appreciate you, yeah.

It has opened doors and closed doors on your face?

Yeah, it has opened several doors. Like this one we’re doing here, this initiative (ACTDF), it is a door opener for my job.

Has fame closed doors on your face?

No, I wouldn’t say it closed doors on my face. No, not exactly. But, you know, you meet lots of people who tend to appreciate you. Everyone sees you around, all your fans, most especially in Lagos; see you as their ATM machines. All their greetings have to be paid for. For instance, they will greet you ‘Hey, good morning bros, we dey hail o…’ You know you have to drop something, so it’s quite a thorn in the flesh.

“FG Wants To Kill My Son ” – IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s Father Alleges.

Nnamdi Kanu's Father

Father of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, Isaac Okwu Kanu, has claimed that the Federal Government has cooked up a plan to kill his son over his agitation for the creation of Biafra.

In a recent interview with The Sun, the older Kanu who is the traditional ruler of Afara Ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, said plans by the Federal government to re-arrest his son would only bring more problems than solving any.

Nnamdi Kanu's Father
img crd: Daily Post

“When they talk of re-arresting him, it means they want to kill him, but God will not allow them because my son has done nothing wrong. I am using this opportunity to call on the United Nations to call the Nigerian government to order because they are planning to kill my son. My son did not do anything; government should go after those who have committed offence against Nigeria

Re-arresting my son will definitely cause more problems for the country. Why would they re-arrest my son; to kill him? God and our people will not allow that to happen. They should realise that Nnamdi has a boy he has not set his eyes on since he was born and it was out of respect for the laws of the land that made him not to go to London to see that boy”.

Nnamdi Kanu’s parents. img crd: Nigerreporters

Speaking further, Issac questions the Federal government’s motive behind plans for his re-arrest

“Why will they want to re-arrest him? Did he kill anybody? Did he flout the constitution? Some people are saying that my son, flouted the bail condition given him by a Federal High Court in Abuja, but the question remains, what type of bail condition was that? Is it possible that a person of my son’s standing in the society could stay without meeting up to 10 persons in a day or week? So, the said bail condition was against his fundamental human rights. But that not withstanding, I know what we are passing through in my palace; trying to stop people from coming here, but there is a limit to which we can do that. Initially, the major gate to my palace had always been open, but since he came back, that gate has always been shut and we did that to stop people from gaining access to the compound. So, I don’t know what they are talking about. The court in the first place never restrained him from moving about. So, in the course of going to see one or two of his friends and those people would organise reception for him, I don’t think there is anything wrong with that to warrant his being crucified. The question I have been asking since I heard about this planned re-arrest is whether Nnamdi is running away from the country? There is no way he would do that. Any day they want him to appear in court, he will quietly do that. I read the other day that the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami said the Federal Government did not arrest sponsors of quit notice to Igbo living in the northern part of the country because of the security implications. From what he said, it was not that the Arewa youths did not commit any offence, but the issue is that the Federal Government is afraid of what will come out of such arrests and allowed them to move freely. On the other hand, they are making move to get Nnmadi Kanu, who had done nothing re-arrested because they believe nothing would happen if they do that, but they may be making the greatest mistake. It is this treating people from a certain part of the country as being superior to others that is making the agitation for Biafra to gain momentum on a daily basis”.

He stressed that he cannot advise his son to forget about his struggle for Biafra.

“There is no way I will advise him to forget the agitation for Biafra ,because I told him from day one that I fully support him, because what he is doing is for the good of his people. So, advising him to drop the agitation now because of the fear for his life would not be ideal. It is bad for one to be marked out for elimination because he said the truth”.

“My wife is Igbo” – President Of The Arewa Youths Group That Issued Igbos Quit Notice

President of Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, Alhaji Shetima Yerima, while debunking claims that he has something against the Igbos, has revealed that his first wife is Igbo. He made the revelation in a recent interview with The Sun.

When asked whether he has phobia for the Igbos or just fighting this cause based on your conviction, he said: “A lot of my friends are Igbo people. I have nothing against the Igbo.

It did not end there, let me also demonstrate that to you; my first wife is from Calabar, the old South Eastern region. We have two kids. I have a good relationship with the Igbo.

I have attended an event organized in memory of Odumegwu Ojukwu in Owerri under the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) led by Ralph Uwazuruike. For the past five years, I have been going to Owerri.

How best would I describe my relationship with the Igbo? During my school days in Lagos State University, Igbo people are my best friends. I am not against the Igbo but I am against any tribe that abuses the sensibilities of my leaders.

And this is what prompted the action but thank God, it has come to an end. I still maintain my relationship with my Igbo brothers. All the ethnic groups in this country, I want to appeal to them, let us come together and build a nation of our own.

We should know that all of us are being marginalized and what we should do is to come together and build the nation we can call our own. We are all human beings and we are bound to make things right or wrong.”

“Buhari has not disappointed me” — Obasanjo

Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo has said the administration of the country’s current leader Muhammadu Buhari has not disappointed him.

“President Buhari, I have said, has not disappointed me because the areas which we knew he was strong, he has performed fairly well,” Obasanjo told BBC’s Focus on Africa, singling out Buhari’s scorecard in the fight against corruption and the Boko Haram insurgency.

But the former leader conceded that not “everyone will be satisfied” with Buhari’s anti-corruption war, The Guardian reports.

Obasanjo, however, insisted he would only support Buhari for re-election in 2019, should Buhari seek it, after he must have reviewed his performance towards the end of his current 4-year term.

“He is not my father” — Miss Sahhara publicly disowns her father

Miss Sahhara publicly disowns

Nigerian Transgender, Miss Sahhara has disowned her father, a Nigerian chief who claimed her as his daughter.

Recall it all started when IdomaVoice conducted an interview with the Benue State elderly man, identified as Chief Ago Ella, and he claimed the transgender beauty queen was his son before, but now he’s his daughter.

He even went as far as saying he is willing to accept her bride price, from any man who was willing to marry her.

But then, Now.. Sahhara is denying all claims by the man.

In a new video shared on her page, the London-based beauty queen rejected the man, saying they have no resemblance, and added that the only father she knows is her mother– her super hero.

However, she proceeded to post a suspicious message on her social media, saying that the male claiming to be her father is not a “good father”.

“Any one can make a baby, but not everyone can be a parent, pay my tuition, feed me, console me when I was bullied in school, bandaid my injuries, nurse me when I was sick, put me to bed at night, put a roof over my head, have my back no matter what, love me unconditionally and be the source of constant wisdom,” she said in the passionate post.

She continued, “All of the above was done by one woman, My superhero, My darling beautiful mother whom I look, sound, act like! Pure carbon copy of the crazy woman and I love and adore her to moon and beyond.”

“I find it disrespectful to my mother that someone else is claiming to be my parent, my mom is my only parent and is the only one that knows my truth apart from me,” she added.

Previous reports allege that the Benue chief previously disowned his child(born Clifford Oche) for transitioning into a woman. However in the recent interview that stirred Miss Sahhara’s reaction, the chief denied ever doing such.

“I am still in love with Flavor” — Anna Banner

Anna Banner has revealed that she’s still in love with High-life singer, Flavour N’abania, even if he’s yet to marry her after having a child for him.

“I couldn’t have purposely got pregnant because I wanted to hook a star. I was already a star too. I wasn’t looking for fame; I was even running away from fame.

But I got pregnant for somebody I really loved. It wasn’t planned. It was my mistake but I wouldn’t call my child a mistake. I was careless. But I thank God it happened with a man who I loved and who didn’t turn his back on me.

“When you love someone, it is hard to fall out. You cannot fall in love today and fall out of love tomorrow. Love is strong. Before you tell somebody you love him, you have to be sure. Flavour was the first man I fell in love with. I still love him as the beautiful soul he has and as the father of my child. I don’t know what the future holds but we are just taking things one step at a time.”

Flavour and Anna Banner Kissing.

She got pregnant after she featured in Flavour’s Golibe video but Anna said her relationship with the singer had nothing to do with the video.

“Some people have got it twisted. It wasn’t because of the video that I had a child for him. We didn’t start dating because of the video either. It just happened and it happened.”

And as Flavour has another baby mama, Sandra Okagbue, and who he has yet to tie the knots with either, Anna said she is not jealous of the other woman in his life.

“Why should I be jealous? We are all humans but what will be will be. If you get jealous today, where will it lead you to? All I want is for my child to be happy.”

Recalling how she felt when she found out she was pregnant, the young lady said she was devastated.

Probably because of her experience in life, Anna said she intends to set up a foundation in future.

“I am going to have a foundation and I hope it turns out the way I want. It is about empowering young girls just like me not to give up. A lot of young girls got pregnant at a young age just like me and they gave up. I just want to encourage them that this is not the end of the world; you can do so many things. It is never late to go back to school. Age is just a number, your child will grow up to love and appreciate you. Even if it is not school, learn how to do something, empower yourself.”

Let me not bother you with too much stories, I will keep it short and concise.

My girlfriend has been acting strange lately and I couldn’t find the reason why she’s doing so. We started dating last year while I was still looking for admission, things has been going smoothly for us not until after ileya festival.

Before then, she celebrated her birthday on the 23rd of August this year had to sent a message to wish her, although I was around for ileya holiday as we both live in ibadan but am schooling in osun state.
She came to visit me on ileya festival(friday) which we talk extensively about her birthday, we both discuss on how to celebrate her birthday since I wasn’t around then so we resorted to go to the cinema and have some few drinks.

Also, I promised to get her some women undies as a gifts before I left for school.

I ought to have been in school by now because the festive holiday has come and gone but have told her that I would love to spend some days with her before I leave. Before she left my house of friday I asked where she will be for the weekend, she told me she won’t be around on saturday but sunday will be okay so I made up my mind to visit her on sunday and use the opportunity to see her mom and sibling.

I called on saturday to check on her but she inform me that she couldn’t go out due to headache, the following day which was sunday I called her severally she didn’t pick my call neither return all the messages I sent to her not until yesterday when she picked and told me that she intentionally not to pick my call because I wasn’t caring enough for her. Asjed her what exactly have I done wrong, she said I didn’t care for her meanwhile have been calling since sunday just to check on her but she didn’t pick my call, mehn I was shocked!!.

As a gentle guy wey I be I asked for frogiveness and repeatedly told her “I’m very sorry” countless of time she cut off the line on three occassion, I was very furious by her action yet I keep cool had to call her once again she told me there’s nothing she wants to discuss with me anymore except what she just did.

Till now, she hasn’t pick all call neither reply my messages.

Now, have bought those things I promise to get her like pads, panties, bra, bum-short, and those girly things I even sent a text to inform her that have gotten her my promises she didn’t reply me.

Beautiful 21-year-old Lady brutally raped, burnt & murdered in South Africa

What’s with South Africa and killings of young woman?

Now there are reports about another young South African woman, Identified as Zanele Sandlana, who was brutally murdered and raped in Khayelitsha.

The 21-year-old Sandlana’s body was found among rubbish in an open field in TR Section, Lingelethu West, face down, her clothes removed except for a bra and a shoe on Monday, September 4.

A bottle was stuffed in her mouth and her body partly burnt. Her 2-year-old daughter is now an orphan as the father died last year.

Zanele’s mother, Nomawethu Sandlana, last saw her on Saturday morning when she left their Kuyasa home in Khayelitsha to go to a party at a friend’s home.

When the family hadnt heard from her and when she had not come home on Sunday, they opened a missing person’s case with police on Monday morning. The family was informed by Zanele’s friends that she had left the party early on Sunday.

Police called the mother on Monday night, informing her that a body had been found, fitting the description of her missing daughter.

Sandlana identified Zanele’s body at Tygerberg Hospital on Tuesday. Zanele’s sister Amanda said parts of her body had been burnt.

Police spokesperson Noloyiso Rwexana, who confirmed the incident said a murder case was being investigated.

She said a 28-year-old man, who police took in for questioning, was released due to lack of evidence.

“The case is in the sensitive stages of investigation, therefore this office is not able to divulge more information on an ongoing investigation,” she said.

Amanda believes her sister was raped and strangled.

Zanele’s friend of 10 years, Zahania Tiya, who was with her at the party, told the Cape Times she last saw Zanele before 4am as her friend was leaving the party.

Tiya said she received a text message from Zanele’s mother on Monday morning asking where her daughter was but she did not know.

“All this time I had always thought she had left to go to her home,” said Tiya.

Zanele’s bag, with her personal belongings inside, was still at the party.

“I spent Monday calling most of our friends trying to locate where she was but with no luck,” she said.

Tiya said Zanele’s mother told her she had dreamt of Zanele lying in an open field, strangled, and that is when she became worried.

“She was my light, the best of friends and it’s like I have lost a part of me. It kills me to hear the way she died. I really want justice to be served for my friend. She was someone who liked laughing. I feel like I should not have allowed her to leave,” said Tiya.

Harare Community Policing Forum chairperson Ronnie Busakwe urged community members to assist the police in their investigation.

“If people allow the killer to roam the street, this means he will kill again and next it could be your family members. The law must take its course and leave no stone unturned until the suspect is behind bars,” said Busakwe.
