Four persons, identified as Michael Agun, Osaikuiwomwan Monday, Vincent Odia and Chibuike Ogbonna have been arrested by the Benin Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission under false pretence.
The suspects were arrested on September 25, 2017, in Benin City sequel to a petition by a complainant alleging that sometimes in May 2017 he got a call from one Chris Amadi who claimed that he knew him during his National Youth Service year.
According to the petitioner, Amadi informed him that he worked at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Edo State before being transferred to Minna, Niger State and that while he was in Edo State, he transacted businesses with one Alhaji whom he supplied cow medicine (Cow Bruma).
Amadi told him that he would like to connect him with Alhaji for good business but asked him to call David Adeboye whom he claimed was the manager of the company that produces cow medicine.
The petitioner further alleged that upon calling Adeboye, he sent him an account number in which he paid Four Hundred and Ninety Thousand Naira in order to be a cow medicine distributor.
During investigations, operatives of the Commission discovered that Amadi whose real name is Chibuike Ogbonna is the head of a syndicate involving Michael Agun, Osaikuiwomwan and Vicent Odia.
Further investigations revealed that Odia Vincent plays the role of a dubious native doctor, parading fettish objects and charms with which they dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Many a rich, privileged woman totter into vogue but it takes a profound, perceptive lady to mirror the breadth and depth of burgeoning trends to the world. Siju Iluyomade, wife of the Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Idowu Olusola Iluyomade, is a rich, privileged woman.
She is profound and perceptive too, thus she dictates and sets the pace in her social circuit. Siju symbolises the incontestable affirmation of charm and élan as acceptable traits in a virtuous woman.
Been a Christian, according to Siju, should not sentence anyone to the dungeons of bleakness and aesthetic barrenness.
Siju glamourises her trendiness and love for high fashion as much as her love for God. She lives her life like a queen, always dressed in Christian Louboutin, LV, Gucci, Zagliani, Hermes and Marc Jacobs products. For her, Christianity has evolved beyond conservative dress. Among other pastors’ wives in Nigeria, she reigns as the queen of style and fashion.
Although she is a pastor’s wife, she remains the essence of glamour, elegance and unrestrained aura. City of David, arguably one of the richest RCCG parishes in Nigeria, is filled with elegant women who appear in church in elegant and immaculate dresses.
But they mostly pale into insignificance compared to the flamboyance of their pastor’s wife. Her pretty face looks more like a work of art. She drives the best of cars and wears the most expensive of accessories. Heads turn each Sunday when she steps into church in appreciation of her beauty, while some ladies are simply green with envy. Her jewelry twinkle with carats of diamonds and gem stones and cause the hearts of many to overflow with longing.
In a new Interview with ThisDay, Nigerian actress, Doris Simeon has disclosed that men o longer want to play their role as husbands.
According to the single mother of one who was asked if single motherhood is now a norm in Nollywood, women are not at fault when it comes to being single parents.
She said:
“Single motherhood is not peculiar to Nollywood. If you go to the banking sector, there are single mothers there; in the military, in law firms and other fields, there are single mothers. It is not our fault; it’s just that men no longer want to play their role as husbands. I am not a supporter of single parenthood: every man or woman has the right to live their life the way they choose. It’s just by God’s grace that I am acting and producing. Emotional trauma is not what I will encourage anybody to pass through. God created every woman for a man. So marriage is good”.
The award-winning Yoruba and English actress revealed that she is not legally divorced from her ex-husband and father of her son, Daniel Ademinokan, as their divorce process is still ongoing in court. She, however, added that she is a single and a happy woman.
When asked if there is any possibility that herself and her ex-husband who is now married to actress Stella Damasus, would reconcile, Doris said:
“I don’t dwell in the past. I don’t want to talk about that anymore. I have moved on. I have no regret at all. I have only learnt to be stronger. The truth is that I have forgotten about everything. Time has erased it (the emotional pain I went through). I am now a better person. Today, I am closer to God and I put God first in everything I do. I never gave up on love. I have found love again in Jesus. I am married to my career right now. I am in a relationship anyway but I want to be private about it. I thank God because I am a better person. My career and business are going on well”.
A Nigerian guy has taken to Facebook to share why he won’t date typical Nigerian ladies.
According to him, most of these girls have been taught that it’s not okay to help their partners financially. He wrote:
“The reason I would not date a typical Nigerian girl, it is because most of y’all been taught that it Is okay not to support your partner at all, all you are there for is to give him sex and cook for him..then he provides everything and you don’t do nothing.
He says a relationship is supposed to have the financial, emotional and psychological support from both parties.
If you’re in a relationship with someone it is supposed to be like a partnership where y’all support yourselves financially emotionally and psychologically, but no you just want him to pay for every thing ..when it is valentine you don’t buy nothing for him but you except heaven and earth.
He also says men like to be spoiled too and not just the ladies…
We do appreciate gift too, we like to be treated to a dinner date, we like ice cream too, everyone wants rich man but would not help any get rich. Am not saying spend all your money on a man but the thoughts count.”

Still on the P-Square split matter, there’s been a new development and it’s not in favour of P-Square fans.

On celebrities who show off their relationship online she said:
“I am a very private person, I’m very careful with the things I put out there because I know whatever I put out there is going to go public that’s why am very careful.”

“There was a time I use to say, why are people so stressed out about my skirt for example, and then I realized that people can have their own opinion. I am honesty the kind of person who doesn’t know how to be stressed about something. I know every person has the chance to get better. Honestly, I am not a fashion person. I like the sneakers, I like the T-shirt and face cap. That’s how I get comfortable.
I’m just an artist, I love to sing and write, this is just me but if you are going to sit down and just bash me…there are people that actually me and advise me and you would know it is coming from their heart and there are those who just want to say something bad” she reveals.
A 19-year-old Nigerian Lady, has urged all men to dump their girlfriend, if they at all don’t cook meals for them.. She wasn’t just referring to men alone, she also urged her fellow ladies to dump their guys, if they don’t cook for them.

– For a while now, there’s been a debate on Gender Equality on every aspect of life, most especially in Marriage.
– Thus why this topic asks if the term, “Head of House” should refer to a couple and not just the husband or neither.
In light of this, people have taken to the Holy Book as a reference to the said subject but according to it, a man should be the head of his “wife” – who the Bible says should be submissive to her husband – but does that generally mean, household?!
In some scriptural references like, Ephesians 5:23, 1 Timothy 2:11-15, 1 Peter 3:1, 1 Corinthians 11:3-16 and others, it’s specific that the husband is the head of the wife and not “household“, so it’s argumentative that a man is not necessarily the “head of the household”.
And according to debates, there are certain things women do in a household that can qualify them as the “head” – so it begs the question whether or not both husband and wife should be the head of the house or the so-called term shouldn’t be of importance at all.
A lady, in a new video, is not all in with the term, cause if it belongs to the man, where does that leave her? According to her, if the term belongs to only the man, then it “diminishes” her.
She says with the term, the man automatically has the upper hand in a relationship, the ability to make final decisions and what now and even though, it may not be like that for some, so long the term is there, then there’s a problem.
What are your thoughts on this? Watch her speak below:

A man, Paulcy C. Iwuala has written to YabaLeftOnline, to narrate the ordeal he went through after he was involved in a fatal accident that left his two legs damaged.
In a letter titled “The Inhuman Face of God Is Good (GIG) Motors”, Paulcy called out God is Good Motors for abandoning him in the hospital.
Read His Full Note Below;
On April 2016, I was involved in a fatal accident in Ore. A head-to-head collision between God is Good (GIG) Toyota Hiace Bus and Peace Mass Transit bus. I was sitting in front of the car with the driver and watched two passengers die in front of me.
I tried to force my way out of the car, which due to the impact of the crash I believed may soon be on fire. The door was jammed, and all my efforts to break the side screen and force my way out was futile. Fortunately, some pedestrians on the roadside jacked the door open and I fell out, with a knee that had been ruptured with multiple fractures, and with a pain that was clearly unspeakable.
I was taken to FMC Ore by GIG management, where for 5 hours of excruciating pain no one attended to me. I had to call a DSS man, Raymond Nkemdirim, who was a personal friend, and through his mediation, the transport company moved me and the driver to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
Again, for close to 24 hours I was abandoned in the casualty ward of UBTH because GIG Motors wasn’t forthcoming with the money that was needed to move me to the surgery ward for operation.
The doctors kept telling me that all they needed was for GIG Motors to pay 45,000 only so they can buy the anaesthesia and antibiotic drugs to be administered to me before the operation. The drugs were supposed to numb me; from my leg downwards.
At any rate, the only other option was to use the General Anaesthesia machine, which was so scarily old, duck tapes were used to glue some of the pipes. They suggested that was the only other alternative if there was no money to buy those anaesthesia drugs. Eventually I became so fearful of ever going through that GA machine that I called on GIG Motors that I was going to Abuja for treatment.
They decided to transport me to Abuja, but tried to offer me a single sit in the bus. Such brazen wickedness for a person of my size, not to mention that I was nursing a fractured knee which had to stay suspended to make the pain somewhat bearable. After minutes of argument they decided to give me an entire row of seat behind the driver. This driver however was so reckless on the road; that he made sure to jump into every pothole from Benin to Abuja.
The driver dropped me at GIG Park in Utako, Abuja, contrary to the earlier agreement, which was to take me to Alliance Orthopaedic Hospital, Area 11. He said he was not asked to do that. I called my brother who swarmed the office with 3 Hilux vans full of policemen.
After they threatened to seize their buses if they didn’t comply with the initial arrangement, they eventually took me to Alliance Orthopaedic Hospital. Afterwards, GIG Motors will continue to avoid any contact with me, and refuse every overture to partake in the financial aspect of the medical attention I received in the hospital.
Their abandonment, and the trauma which they had caused me beginning from that fatal accident to the continued inhumane nonchalance to my situation has warranted my now calling them out on their wicked and heartless attitude. And I am prepared to seek redress in every legal way possible.
