I stumbled upon the story of the arrest of yahoo boys on YabaLeftOnline.com who scam and defraud unsuspecting persons via voodoo (sacrifice humans) they had been arrested for their perilous fleeting devilish activities for money making.
I never use to pay attention to their stories, Reading that? My poo melted, my heart squatted, I felt like some iodine had been inserted into my thyroid glands.
What??? These are kids age ranking from 18-25. Who confessed to killing their girlfriends, making them useless in life and ended several innocent people to enhance their progression. All in the name of ‘getting rich quick syndrome’ and perhaps to be evidence of the swoon song “30 billion in the account” They’ve mortgaged their future, destiny and soul for money that could be their own in life. Yes!! theirs.
Roughly 5 years ago an herbalist who had converted to a believer told me_ first hand, how voodoo works; he said “you only make all the money you will earn in your entire life in only a short amount of time. If you are supposed to make 100 million in 80 years of your life, you will make that same amount of money within 5 years, then death or something bad follows”.

Be brave enough to struggle like real men, courageously embrace disappointments, let your soul posses it self under every vicissitudes, be strong enough to convert your pitfalls into sky rise, your stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Ensure your father and mother are proud of what you do, make the greatest country in Africa ‘Nigeria’ proud again, make your self proud, and above all? Make God Almighty in heaven look at you and say: “That’s my child”.
Any young man who dares to display himself in this right silent effort and endeavor, and dares to endure all the sufferings all for truth and duty is more truly heroic than the achievements of a Thief in king clothings. When we have the orientations of a brave MIND or ‘The True Billionaires Mind’ like I tagged it; the world in no time will surely step aside to let US pass.
Undoubtedly, Nigerians are hard working anywhere we find ourselves. We are creative, but then, some our youths are creative on the negative side, I want to encourage us to turn that negativity into positivity, desist and turn your energies on something enviable. A pregnant pepper seller, identified as Iyabo Taiwo, on Hassan Ogunlana Street, Ijaiye, Lagos State, has been traumatized after she was reportedly thrown into a police cell for reporting an assault on her.
She had lodged a complaint at the Meiran Police Station against a resident, identified simply as Simon, aka Best, who allegedly pushed her into a drainage channel.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the case was, however, turned against her because Simon was a relative of a senior officer at the station.
It was learnt that Simon had bought some red peppers from the woman last Monday and was supposed to collect N50 change.
It was gathered that Taiye went to visit her ailing husband at a hospital the following day and did not open shop.
The woman said hardly had she arrived at the shop on Wednesday with fresh stock when Simon came to collect the change.
She stated that she told him to come back for the change, but he suddenly resorted to force and started taking her goods.
The 30-year-old woman who spoke in Yoruba said:
“I explained to him that I had used all the money on me to buy peppers and begged him to give me little time to sell so that I will give him the change.
“But he dipped his hands into a basket to pack some peppers. So, I held his shirt. He freed himself from my grip and threw me into a gutter. I went to report at the Meiran Police Station and some policemen followed me to arrest him.
“On getting to the station, he spoke in English and Igbo with a police officer. Then, a policeman told me that some people beat him (Simon) and that I would be detained until they arrest those people. Simon was told to go.”
The woman said she spent over 24 hours in detention and was freed after members of a pepper sellers association she belonged to paid N4,500 to secure her bail.
She said:
“I was locked up inside a cell. They didn’t give me food. I was feeling pains all over my body. Members of my association later contributed N4,500 before I was released in the evening of the following day (Thursday).
“My pregnancy is over seven months now. I have gone to do a scan at a hospital to know the condition of my baby. The result will be out on Monday (today).
“The Commissioner of Police invited me and some policemen to his office in Ikeja on Friday. He was angry with them and told them to refund the N4,500. They asked me to come for the money on Monday (today).”
A resident, who begged for anonymity, said shortly after Taiye was released on Thursday, Simon allegedly mobilized some thugs to beat two men, Ope and Muri Waheed, who cautioned him for assaulting the woman.

Over 24 hours ago, I was having fun on my Snapchat with few friends to raise money for me to blow for the weekend.
In less than an hour I was sent over 2million naira which was much more than what I was seeking to have fun for that moment so I decided to give some of it out, I sent a couple of people I know some of it and I remembered a boy with a severe pain because by an armed robbery attack, so I decided to donate to him to get good medical attention, I also thought I would use my platform to get him a lot of donors which I posted his case on my page and he has then received massive turn out from my friends and followers but there’s something I noticed, to my surprise not even one of this bloggers who are quick to pick anything I do ever picked that good I did to write about, rather I see some blogs posting hushpuppi stylishly turns beggar, and none of their commenters/fans wrote to them that they should see this and that which hushpuppi has done o, none of your celebrities do this rather they only post and fold their arms to problem of the public who made them who they are, we didn’t see eniola badmus and kcee to tag federal government that I deserve a goodwill award but they are quick to tag efcc to come and investigate my blessings but at the end of the day I am not surprised, all my years in the struggle I have learnt black people mostly Nigerians are quick to bring their own down rather than praise, build or support each other.
Love don’t exist among us but with all this I won’t stop being the good guy that I am either y’all see it or not, God sees it and I see why he never seize to keep blessing me.

Reports are that Senator Shehu Sani has been attacked by a mob during his press briefing at the Kaduna press centre, in Kaduna state.
According to TV News, Sani, his colleague in the Red Chambers, Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, and journalists ran for their lives during the attack.

Apparently, Nigerian scammers are not learned enough to dust their trails. I keep telling those who care to listen, the true scammers and fraudsters have at least one Masters Degree in a duly accredited course of study from a renowned institution (not those ones that grew up knowing all the cyber cafes in the area).
Hushpuppi slipped up when he posted a screenshot of his credit notification received via mail. He exposed a detail he probably thought wouldnt mean much (dude, seriously – I thought you were smart).

The screenshot was obviously taken on his device in an attempt to make heads roll on social media I guess. But he probably forgot to cut that part off.

The account has just a few pictures with the usual Facebook privacy thing turned on (very peculiar with Nigerian scammers tho). I want to believe this dude has more aces up his sleeves.

A 28 year old Biafran identified as Chima Mbata, has claimed he was healed of his illness immediately after he sighted Nnamdi Kanu.

Murder Incident reported in the early hours of Sunday 30th July 2017 where police operatives of the Lagos state command responded to a distress call at Oke Ota, Ibeshe, Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
Mobilizing to the scene where the police operatives found it extremely difficult to locate the house which was situated in a thick forest where it’s remotely impossible for anybody to identify a dwelling house in the area.
Eventually arriving at the scene on foot, the house where a family of five was attacked, which is just a room & parlour with one open window and no visible form of security, it was reported that 3 died on the spot, (1) died while receiving treatment at the hospital and the last member is alive and responding to treatment.

Nigerians have been warned against consumption of ‘suya and boli’.
The President, Society for Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Nigeria President, Prof Musa Borodo, gave this warning at a press briefing commemorating the 10th Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting of the association in Ado Ekiti.
Borodo warned that diseases such as colorectal cancer, liver cancer, helicobacter pyloris and other infections that occur in the gastrointestinal tract were usually not easy to detect when looking out for signs and symptoms.
He added that when the symptoms were obvious, they were often too late to treat.
According to him, about 10 percent of people in Nigeria are suffering from Hepatitis B – a viral infection – which he warned could lead to cancer, if not properly treated.
“This (Hepatitis B) is something that can be prevented, if you don’t treat it, it could become cancer. So, it is a huge problem,” he said.
Speaking on the theme, “Gastrointestinal Malignancies in Africa: Past, Present and Future,” Borodo said it was chosen to create awareness on early detection of cancer, prevention and cure.
“The forum is to increase knowledge, expertise and foremost research of interests in diseases affecting alimentary canal,” he added.
Borodo lamented that two cases of cancer at end stage are reported daily in the treatment centre.
He advised people to take natural foods, avoid refined sugar, eat well, exercise regularly, drink clean water, visit hospitals for routine check up and stay away from smoking to avoid cancer, saying, “taking burnt boli (plantain), burnt suya and refined drinks as they could cause cancer.

Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has cleared the air in an interview – saying that no man sponsors her luxurious lifestyle.
Lately, the beautiful Actress has been having the time of her life, having vacations in lovely destinations, building houses and purchasing exotic rides.
This has made some people insinuate that she has a “big man” sponsoring her lifestyle.
The pretty actress in an interview with PUNCH, claimed that she is one sponsoring her luxurious lifestyle not one big man.
She said,
“It is very annoying and insulting to say that a man must sponsor me before I can travel out of the country. Before I came into the movie industry, I was a model and singer and I was making good money from that. Even as an actress, I have appeared in a lot of films and my services are still very much in demand. I am also involved in some other things as well. For anybody to now say that I’m living off anybody is the height of being dumb. Everything I am today is by the grace of God and my sweat. I am a very hard-working and independent person. I know what I want and I constantly go for it. I don’t need anybody to sponsor me,”
“A lot of people think I’m stupid and foolish because of the roles I play in movies. At times, when I have something meaningful to say, people don’t take me serious as they think I’m cracking jokes. People also think that I’m an illiterate but that’s not true. I come from a humble background and I struggled a lot while growing up. My parents weren’t well-to-do so I had to hustle to get whatever I wanted by myself. We were basically living from hand to mouth and our situation was quite pathetic. However, despite our lack, I still considered education as a priority and I always had it at the back of my mind that I would keep learning. For example, I have a lot of plans for Nollywood and I hope the government can pay more attention to this sector. Nollywood has helped to propagate Nigeria’s culture across the world, and even in far flung countries where you wouldn’t expect, they have seen Nollywood movies there. That should tell you that Nollywood is too important not to be taken serious. The industry really needs proper structures. It is not about running to the government and begging for money. Some people would just collect the money and share it among themselves; and that’s part of the reason the industry is still where it is. We have to step up our game as there are many things that can be gained from Nollywood. Entertainment is big business and it can even generate more money for the country than oil if it is well handled.
The traditional ruler of Owo town, in the Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Patrick Fasinu has been killed by assassins.
According to SUNDAY PUNCH, Fasinu had gone for a meeting of traditional rulers in the Ilaro area on Wednesday.
He was said to have dropped off his driver along the way and was heading home in his Camry car when he was waylaid by the assailants.
The men reportedly dragged him out of his car and hacked him with an axe.
The assassins then took him back to his car, which they set on fire before fleeing the scene.
The monarch’s charred remains were recovered on Thursday by policemen from the state command.
A family source, said the attackers went away with the Oba’s phone.
He said:
“He went for a meeting of traditional rulers in Ilaro. While returning, he greeted some of his family members at Owode. He was there till evening.
“He later left for Oke Odan around 10pm. He dropped off his driver along the way and continued his journey to his hometown, where he was the king. He was about a mile away from his house when he was assassinated.
“His family had looked for him throughout the night and when they didn’t see him, they thought he slept over in the house of one of his wives or somewhere else.”
The family source said during a search for the deceased, his charred remains were recovered in his car.
He explained that blood traces were seen in a bush near the scene, including a bloodstained axe, which the police took away.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident.
He said;
“The monarch was gruesomely murdered. He was burnt to death in his car. We have started investigations already. The driver is in our custody and we will get to the root of the case.”
