Banky w is celebrating his best friend, Ebuka Uchendu. He took to Instagram earlier to celebrate the Media Personality as he turns a year older today.
Banky revealed he never liked Ebuka for one bit, as he felt he was too arrogant and he still is.. But then, he turned out to be one of his best of friends.
He wrote;
So when I first met @ebuka I didn’t like him because I thought he was arrogant. He’s still arrogant ?? but he’s become one of my favourite people, period. Except when he was trying to chance me as @captdemuren’s best man LOL.
Love him like a brother, and he’s genuinely one of the most impressive people I know. Lawyer, writer, TV personality, events MC of life, Gymspiration, professional fine boys club executive board member, husband, father.. AND one of the best friends a guy could have in his corner.
Happy birthday bro. Wishing you all the best and much more success by God’s grace.
Nollywood Actror, Ernest Asuzu who suffered stroke a few years back, is back on the block, and right now, he’s a born again christian.
He spoke exclusively to The Sun Newspaper, where he revealed that he’s back to change people’s perception about Nollywood by bringing God back to the industry, and revealed why he feels that Nollywood is evil, among other issues.
Here are excerpts from the chat;
Many people want to know what you’ve been doing since you recovered from your health challenge?
I have returned to Nollywood, my first love. But I want God to help me re-establish myself as a good Christian in Nollywood. After the first outing, which I considered a success by worldly standard, I went down with stroke. Before I took ill, I was living large, outgoing and flamboyant; but now I have returned to God and I want to change people’s thinking about actors in Nollywood, because a lot of actors are dying without knowing God.
I want to introduce God to Nollywood so that they will know that there’s nothing they can do without God. Look at me now I have a Jeep. If anybody had told me when I was down with stroke that I’d ride a Jeep, I would not believe. But a man of God in Warri, Delta State blessed me with the car, that’s the car I brought to church today. Isn’t that marvelous? God saw my pain and faith in Him and intervened.
The thing that happened to me wasn’t my making; a man got jealous of my rising profile and inflicted me with stroke. I don’t want to emphasise on that. Let God judge the man. I’m glad because I’m not dead yet, when you are dead, that’s when you are gone. Now that I’m alive and back on my feet, it’s the Lord’s doing. I am alive by the intervention of God so I want everyone to know that I’ve given my life to God and my movie life is running and thriving.
Now that you’re back to Nollywood, what impact do you really want to make?
What I’m bringing back to Nollywood is concrete change. This is not a political slogan. What I want is for everyone in Nollywood to be God-fearing. I want the industry to know God because I’m a testimony. A lot of practitioners believe in charms, juju and evil, but when you know God, you will know it all and will not have room for doubt and unbelief. I want to bring God back to Nollywood, that’s what I want to accomplish this year.
How do you want to achieve this since you aren’t a pastor?
I am not a pastor, but I intend to be a pastor, to preach the gospel. I know it is not easy to be a pastor but I tell you if God calls me, I will answer. I will either be a pastor or prophet. But I am begging them to leave evil alone. Evil does not pay anybody. They inflicted me with stroke but I did not feel I had stroke for one day. So, if God chooses me as his vessel, I will say ‘Here am I, send me’. I want Nollywood to get closer to God because the time we are now is evil.
If God calls you what message will you preach?
Love. I will tell people that God is love and that love conquers all. I will harp on love, agape love; that is unconditional love. God created this world out of love and out of love he gave His son. For God so loved the world that he created everything therein, so I will preach the message of love.
As you are into music, are you also preaching the gospel through music?
What I’m doing is to use music as a channel to communicate my new found passion, which when all has been said, prepares you for a better life here and beyond. Salvation is not negotiable, and for me, it is a gift that Christians in Nollywood must accept as a plank to eternal life.
Is this your new belief also based on your recent robbery experience?
When I keep talking about the mercies of God, you may not understand. The robbery attack occurred around the premises of a transport company in Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos when I went there for a meeting.
As I waited for my friend, in my car, two young men drove up to me on a motorbike and stopped by the car. One of them walked casually towards me and brought out a gun. He asked for money and my handset.
Before I knew what was happening, he had collected every valuable thing from me. He looked at me and recognised me, he then asked: ‘Are you not a Nollywood actor?’ I answered ‘yes, I am’. He turned, jumped onto the bike and zoomed off.

I heard you were happy I went to prison @seyilaw1. Your baby is still FAT AND OBESE. Take lessons from a health professional. There are lots of children in prison and all are healthier than Tiwa.
I don’t sugarcoat things. Your baby could hardly move in one crawling video. Stop overfeeding her. I heard someone called her Kungfu panda. All these fake fans hyping her baby fat are laughing behind you. I went back to prison for another 24hrs due to a technicality and was glad to go back to check up on our 4 newborns and 5 toddlers.
The food is better than your mom’s cooking. There is no prison food. You cook your own food. Now I go weekly to prison to drop off supplies and money for inmates with babies and IPOB protesters forgotten by Nnamdi Kanu.
Excellence, Precious and some of those babies in there need our help, instead u are busy rejoicing about people going to prison, a pharmacist who advised u of your child’s potential health danger. Shame on you and YOUR dumbass comedy. I highly regret interviewing you giving u the exposure to my 27 million global blog readers.
Go and read more about #childobesity. @majeayida pls forgive my anger here. As a foremost fitness trainer in Nigeria, you promised to do a write up to address fitness in children and childhood obesity but I was locked up for posting a news tip.
People like Seyi should focus on people giving them correct info rather than promoting fake cybercrime laws against media professionals. As soon as you are back, pls DM. Sorry about the #Lekki floods. Thanks everyone for reading.

A UK Imam, Mohammed Haji Saddique, has been convicted and jailed for 13 years after he sexually harassed four young girls in a mosque.
As reported the 81-year-old Cardiff cleric would often call girls to sit close to him and attempts caressing them with his touch while they make quranic recitations.
According to court reports, he also had metal and wooden sticks he uses in picking students that appease his sight during lessons.
Saddique was teaching at Madina Mosque in Cardiff for more than 30 years and was convicted of 14 offences which includes six indecent assaults and eight sexual assaults, all of which took place between 1996 and 2006.
Judge Stephen Hopkins sent Saddique for 13 years and ordered him to register as a sex offender.
“All four complainants were very brave indeed in overcoming not only personal but cultural barriers which they faced in making formal complaints and giving evidence against you,” the judge said.
“There is a darker, deviant side to you which this trial has exposed. This was a gross breach of trust – parents sending their young, female children to be taught the Holy Quran by you.”
The sentenced Saddique however refuted that the allegations against him were a conspiracy by other members of the mosque although the presiding discredited because former had “no idea” of the harm his actions had caused.
Saddique, born in Hong Kong, moved to Pakistan before he finally settled in Cardiff in 1967.
“You would attempt to maintain discipline and concentration by tapping or slapping the child sitting next to you who didn’t read correctly,” the judge said.
“Every time one of these small children made a mistake you would slap them until they got it right and slap them for every mistake they made.”
However, Saddqiue’s lawyer, Caroline Rees, described him as a “frail and unwell” great-grandfather whose community and family hold him in high esteem. “This is a man of 81 whose life expectancy is not good given his health and age,” she added.

In a recent interview with New Telegraph, Veteran Nollywood actor, Saint Obi, pleaded with Nigerians not to be too quick in judging celebrities whose marriages have crashed.
The actor, in a who made the statement while reacting to the cases which result to crashed marriages among celebrities, said Nigerians should not be too quick to judge their crashed marriages because they won’t understand the dynamics that operate in their homes.
He said:
“Firstly, I must say that violence is not good. But sometimes, when it comes to issues about crashed marriages and stuffs like that, what I always say is that ‘don’t be too quick to judge’, because until you get married, I know you are, you won’t understand the dynamics that operate in homes.
‘What works for Mr ‘A’ or Miss ‘A’ may not work for Mr ‘B’ and Miss ‘B’. So, things lead to things; but my advice is that rather than become violent, maybe you walk away or maybe give each other some space.’
‘Sometimes some artistes push the other to the extreme, I say sometimes, not always. So, it is just the ability for one to understand when he is being pushed overboard, and control that urge to go overboard because some people can be terrible, and some people can be nice.’
‘So, I will never advise anybody to be violent no matter the situation; but some people push people to the extreme’

Popular Billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, aka Evans’ lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, has been slammed N20,000 “punitive cost” for professional misconduct.
Evans’ fundamental rights case was billed to be heard by the Judge, but his lawyer wrote, claiming to be ill.
Ogungbeje apologised for his absence and asked for adjournment.
According to The Nation, Mr Emmanuel Eze, who represented Lagos State Commissioner of Police, opposed Ogungbeje’s application for adjournment.
He said the applicant’s lawyer did not inform the police that he would be absent, adding that any other lawyer from Ogungbeje’s office could have come to represent Evans.
He said:
it is an “affront” to the court for Ogungbeje not to send another lawyer to stand in for him.
“In view of this, we are of the view that the applicant’s counsel is most unserious with this application. We, therefore, ask for a punitive cost of N100,000 against the applicant and his counsel,”
Awarding the N20,000 cost, Justice Abdulazeez Anka of the Federal High Court, Lagos, said the cost must be paid before July 20.
He said:
“Counsel wrote a letter seeking for an adjournment without copying the prosecution. This, to me, is unprofessional. The court hereby warns counsel to desist from such type of practice.”
The judge said the facts before him showed that the applicant was still in police custody.

When Buhari is declared dead the plan is for Osinbajo to appoint Nasir El Rufai as his VP.
Tony Blair has come to Kaduna to convey British approval of that plan.
El Rufai is slotted to take over from Osinbajo in 2019 but God will shock them.
When will the British leave us alone? When will they stop manipulating us and interfering in our affairs?
The blood of the Christians and Shiite Muslims of S. Kaduna speaks against Nasir El Rufai and the Buhari admin..
They are finished and all their plans will fail.
The Lord shocked Buhari. He will shock this lot too.
Their power is broken and their time is over.”

Yesterday,BBN 2017 TTT’s wife clapped back at a troll who blasted the reality star after he wished his wife a happy birthday with loving words. The troll told him to sit down with his praise of his wife after he had disrespected her by frolicking with Bisola on Big Brother Naija reality show.
Labara was fast to put the IG troll in her place. Responding to the exchange, Ali Baba said people should learn to butt out of married people’s problems.
Read what he wrote:
“Remember I told you all marriages are not the same? The issues one partner in a marriage can tolerate, another will find it totally unacceptable. I also told you of the Auntie that advised her niece to move out of her matrimonial home when a lady got pregnant for him, just to teach her husband a lesson. She listened & moved out. 1 wk. 3 wks, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year. Na so marriage scatter. The marriage, that was not up to 2 years packed up. Then some years after, she attended the Auntie’s husband’s 70th, & at picture sessions she noticed a small boy join the nuclear family. Who’s child is that? She asked. Answer was given to her in whispers. Auntie’s husband had fathered a child out of wedlock. AUNTIE didnt leave. Angered, She confronted Auntie & it fractured the family. Another strong feminist on Facebook, in 2005 or 6, can’t remember now, called a lady who said she was pregnant for a marriage man and didn’t know what to do, all kinds of names plus home breaker. Only to see her pregnant & it was for a Senator friend of mine. And I happened to know that the Senator was married. Come and see explanations. “It’s not like that. I found out after it happened. They were separated. He wanted to divorce her. It was nothing serious. We are in love. I am ashamed of myself, blah blah blah”. Trust me. I wrote about her hypocrisy. If you haven’t reached the bridge don’t cross it. Don’t count your chicks before they are hatched. Don’t swallow panadol for another person’s headache. Let the person wearing the shoe tell you where it pinches. That is why some people will continue to hold grudges against a partner in a relationship and the partners have made up and moved on. Is it your marriage?! Over sabi! If anything like that happens to me, & my wife decides to do anything, she is my wife. That’s ok. Why will you now carry it on your head even on her birthday? Mscheeeew. Oya, go and seek to dissolve the marriage na. As e dey pain you so! Wait ooo! How do you feel when people quarrel and you take sides. Then see them together after all your bad mouth? Mine is get upset. But move on. Just move on. Especially if the parties involved moved on.
