Mrs. Cordelia Okonye, the mother of the 21-year-old influencer, Augusta, who was murdered by her boyfriend, has reacted after he was declared wanted by the Lagos State Police Command.

The police finally declared the culprit and popular punter, Killaboi, wanted months after he confessed to killing his girlfriend on social media.

Recall that in July, social media was set abuzz after Killaboi admitted to ‘mistakenly’ stabbing his girlfriend to death during an argument.

At the time, Killaboi lamented bitterly about messing up his life at the young age of 26 and pledged to turn himself in to the police, but never did.

He claimed that he ran away after killing her out of fear and has been hiding at the undisclosed location since then.

Well, the police finally declared him wanted in connection with the murder of the popular influencer on Tuesday, October 10.

She also alleged that he cloned his number and made the public confession from his hideout abroad.

Viral security guards turned content creator, Happie Boys, have reportedly been arrested in Cyprus, where they were sponsored to study by OPM pastor, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.

The internet sensations were reportedly arraigned before a court on Tuesday, October 10, before being remanded in prison.

However, the reason behind their arrest is currently unclear at the time of writing this story. Reports circulating suggest that they are being held in an underground prison by authorities in Cyprus

This is coming few weeks after they took to social media to seek the forgiveness of their benefactor, OPM founder Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.

In a video shared online by the young men who gained popularity after being fired from their jobs for dancing while on duty, they pleaded with the clergyman to have mercy on them because things are not going well for them in Cyprus.

They also said they were willing to return to Nigeria to apologize to the pastor in person. At the time, they vowed not to speak ill about the pastor again, and sought his blessings so that things will start working for them again. Watch the video here

Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, has finally come out to divulge everything that transpired on the day his son died.

The father asked the Nigerian to forgive him for all that had happened in the rush to bury his son, Mohbad, in an interview with BBC Yoruba.

The late singer’s father revealed how his son was abused and lived in dread after his contract with Naira Marley expired.

The father went on to say that because of how he acted when he came to his house to plead with him about his kid, he thought Naira Marley to be a nice person.

He said,

“My son died at about 3 pm, nobody called me. By the time I got to his house, it was 10 pm and I saw a lot of crowds. We were denied a police report at the station, We tried to take him to the mortuary but there was no space, and I couldn’t be watching him in the house. I had to bury him. Nigerians should forgive me if I offended them.

Nobody loves him like me. I have never seen Samlarry before in my life. The first day I went to Naira Marley’s house, Mohbad was eating and Naira picked a spoon and was eating with him. This touched me that he loved him so much but my son told me Naira was evil. When I went to Naira’s room to beg him to forgive my son whatever he might have done, I didn’t know he was recording me.

The first time Samlarry ever beat him, he told me not to say anything, he reported at the police station but nothing was done. Since then he had always been living with fear. He was beaten again during his video shoot with Zlatan. I need justice for him. As a Pastor,I can’t fight this traditionally because of my religion. If they want to do the DNA test, let them do it.”

It was gathered that they welcomed the twins in the US on Monday, October 9. Both Chioma and the twins are said to be in good health.

Nollywood actor and comedian Charles Inojie has criticized actresses who use Nollywood to hide their questionable sources of income.

In a recent episode of OAP Nedu’s podcast, ‘The Honest Bunch,’ Charles, best known for his role in ‘The Johnsons,’ stated that Nollywood is currently overrun with women he described as ‘daughters of Jezebel.’

According to him, these women use the movie industry as a front for their dubious means of making money. He claimed that many of those who proclaim themselves as award-winning actresses don’t have any blockbuster movies in their portfolio and have terrible acting skills.

Charles stated that most of them sell their bodies to afford expensive cars and mansions, all while hiding under the guise of acting. He said they would never make it past the audition stage due to their inability to act.

Speaking further, the 52-year-old actor asserted that filmmakers are not the only culprits when it comes to demanding sex for movie roles, as some actresses throw themselves at them for movie roles.

In his words,

“There are some actresses who can do anything just to be in front of the camera. And when you meet a character who is not properly formed as the director or producer, he will fall. So, there are actresses like that. The issue of s3x-for-role is not just one-way. It is a two-way thing.

“There is also an army of Jezebel daughters looking for directors and producers to fall… So, the level of desperation among some of these girls is also an issue.

“That’s why they are quick to fall into the booby traps set by a lot of producers and directors with characters that are not properly formed; people who came from very shaky backgrounds.”

Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng popularly known as Skales has revealed through microblogging platform, X that the EFCC barged into his apartment at night under the guise of having a routine check.

The singer while expressing himself said that the EFFC pulled up at his apartment with guns, sticks and hammers and broke down his back door while he and his six months old daughter were sleeping.

He wrote,

“So @officialEFCC pulled up to my house with 3 men with guns and some with sticks and hammers lol, they broke my back door while I was sleeping on the bed with my 6 month old daughter, imagine I had a panic attack Cz of my health issues…. is this not a crime?”

He later added in another tweet that the incident happened after he returned from a show and put his daughter to bed. When asked by a follower if they mentioned the reason for their search, the singer said they got an intel that he’s into fraud.

The artiste also mentioned that they hit his producer with a stick on his leg and were threatening to lock him up.

When some of his followers advised him to sue them, the singer said that he doesn’t believe in the justice system of Nigeria because it’s all lies and they are all the same.

However the EFCC had denied the invasion, asking the singer to provide evidence that they were in his home, which led to the singer posting video evidence on his page.

An X user has lambasted reality TV star, Tacha, for criticizing the lady who was insulted by her parents for requesting for an iPhone 8 as birthday gift.

Social media was set agog after the lady shared a video of her parents condemning her for asking for a phone, despite not having gained admission into the university.

The father also claimed that people who use an iPhone are promiscuous, stating that she can go and sell her body to get the phone if she wants to. ICYMI, watch the video here

The video sparked a huge debate on social media, with some lambasting the parents for the harsh words they used on their daughter while others knocked the girl for filming her conversation with her parents, and also asking for an iPhone despite knowing their financial status.

Reacting, Tacha took to social media to rebuke those criticizing the lady’s parents, and condemned the girl for recording their conversation.

“Anybody that has something wrong with what the parents said! something is legit wrong with you! For this child to record this conversation she actually knows what she’s doing..
But I know some waste men will still buy her that iPhone,” she tweeted.

In response to the tweet, an X user lambasted Tacha for having the effrontery to condemn the girl when she tattooed Davido’s name on her chest and was allegedly twerking on social media at her age.

Lady laments after Lagos resort ruins her birthday plans

A lady has come out on social media to express her disappointment after a beach resort ruined her birthday plans.

The resort is located on the island, notably in the Ajah district of Lagos State, and is well-known for its beautiful beach views.

The lady with the Tiktok username _melanincandy, who was preparing for her photoshoot at the resort, booked a two-night stay and spent her birthday there. According to her, she paid 170,000 Naira per night, for a total of 380,000 Naira for her two-night stay.

However, following the photoshoot, she realised that it was not what it appeared to be. First and foremost, they lacked a 24-hour kitchen, which was unfortunate given the resort’s remote location.

She also saw cockroaches in the room and a crab in the swimming pool when she attempted to swim.

To make matters worse, the water in the bathroom would not rush, and when it did, it smelled. She was ultimately forced to leave because her birthday had been ruined.

In the chat shared by an X user @Teehrankinq, the lady revealed that she had missed her period and feared that she might be pregnant.

This prompted the X user to ask if she had been intimate with a man, as it would determine the possibility of her being pregnant.

In response, she made a surprising revelation that she had sexual intercourse with a man during a truth or dare game in her hostel.

The lady, said to be a student of Osun state University (UNIOSUN), said a guy was dared to pick any lady and sleep with her, and he chose her.

According to her, she couldn’t reject the dare because she was part of the persons that made the rule of the game and some persons had done doggy style right in their presence.

Recall that the billionaire’s son’s girlfriend, Laura, unfollowed him on Instagram after discovering that he had shared a kiss with Mercy in a discreet location within the house, where the camera didn’t capture.

This apparently didn’t sit well with her and she unfollowed him on the gram and reportedly broke up with him due to his involvement with Mercy.

Media personality, Charles Born has taken to social media to throw shade at the winner of the All Stars reality show, Ilebaye for walking out of an interview.

The podcaster claimed on his Instagram story that he had scheduled a meeting with previous housemates Pere, Adekunle, and Ilebaye.

However, the interview began with Pere and Adekunle leaving Ilebaye to wait her turn but after a few minutes of waiting, the reality star allegedly became enraged and stormed out.

She was allegedly enraged to be kept waiting so she left the venue in a fit.

This did not sit well with Charles, who referred to her as a celebrity of yesterday and said that money does not equal class.

He wrote;

Mr Eazi reveals when he got the sign to quit music and go into business

Popular Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade better known as Mr Eazi, has revealed that he got into the music business because he was bored with being an entertainer.

The ‘Patek’ hitmaker claimed he fell into music by chance and never intended to be a musician. He added that after performing at Coachella 2019 he understood he needed to do something new.

Mr Eazi mentioned this in a recent interview with media personality Angela Lee, stating that he chose to expand into tech to alleviate musical stress.

The mechanical engineer claimed he considered leaving three years into his music career because he didn’t feel fulfilled when he played at Coachella

He said;

“I have a tech company called Zagadat Capital. And this was like me being bored of music. After performing at the Coachella in 2019. I played on the first day of Coachella, I came down from the stage and I felt nothing. No happiness. No sadness.

For somebody who never wanted to be an artiste, and third year of my career, I’m playing Coachella and I felt nothing. So, for me, it was a sign I would either have to quit music and go do something else.

Because that was not a good feeling to have or I needed to pause. Maybe I was experiencing burnout. And when COVID hit, it was the first time I paused and tried to decide what would be the next move. I had started Empawa so I was getting to understand the music business.

But I was tired of even listening to music. How can you run a music business without listening to music? So, I just had my team handle that.

I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur and now the music has given me access to people and capital, so I was like, okay, I’m gonna start my fund like Jay-Z.”

Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Pere Egbi, has shared what first drew him to his fellow BBNaija All Stars housemate, Mercy Eke.

The former US military member shared this during an interview with his colleague, Miracle OP.

According to Pere, one of the main reasons he was drawn to Mercy was her strong faith and great love for God.

Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has complimented the young singer Rema on his most recent success in the United States of America.

Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ remix featuring Selena Gomez recently made chart history by being the first Nigerian song to stay a year on the U.S. Billboard.

In a recent interview with UAE’s The Kris Fade Show, Davido discussed the accomplishment and expressed his astonishment that the song reached the Top 5 on the charts.

Davido expressed his amazement at the rapid growth of Afrobeat on a worldwide scale and his pride in seeing artists like Rema succeed in other countries.

He said;

“Years ago, I’d never ever think a Nigerian artiste would have a Top 5 record in America. Rema has had Top 5 records in America for like, the past eight months, non-shaken. Everybody has dropped but he’s in Top 5”

Popular Nigerian social media commentator, Daniel Regha has thrown shades at Nollywood stress Funke Akindele, media personality, Toke Makinwa and others who’ve travelled to Paris amidst reported bed bugs outbreak in the city.

According to Daniel, he doesn’t feel this is the right time for them to travel to the French capital as he feels their action is putting the whole nation in danger.

A Nigerian businessman has revealed how he ‘punished’ his ex-girlfriend who broke up with him eight years ago because she didn’t see a future with him.

The man, identified as Mazi Chiemena Samuel, disclosed that his ex-lover dumped him because she wanted to get married before the age of 24, and it didn’t seem likely with him at the time.

Eight years later, he is already married with a child, while his ex is still single at the age of 27.

To deal with her for leaving him, he found a way to get her number after achieving success in life and started flaunting his wife and children in her face.

His Facebook post reads,

A young Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share her parents’ response to her request for an iPhone 8 as birthday gift.

In a video shared on TikTok, the lady was captured in a car with her parents as they expressed their displeasure about her request for an iPhone.

The father, said to be a pastor, was heard telling her to sell her body to raise money to buy herself an iPhone if that’s what she wants.

He repeatedly said he has not seen anything that shows that his future is secured with her and expressed gratitude that he has other children.

The angry father continued by stating that even students who have gained admission to study medicine haven’t asked for an iPhone, whereas she, who has not yet gained admission to study Yoruba, is making such a request. He urged her to quickly gain admission and leave his house.

He further claimed that most girls who use an iPhone are corrupt and his daughter, whom he said is ‘already corrupt more than corruption itself’, can also tow that lane.

In his defense, he said his daughter should have asked him to start saving money for her school fee and not ask for an iPhone.

The mother, who interjected with remarks, supported her husband and accused her daughter of constantly causing her ‘pain.’

Pere Egbi, a Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate and finalist has revealed in a recent interview that he would rather sit down with the devil before he sits down with his fellow housemate, Alex Asogwa.

Recall that while in the Big brother house, the duo often had issues with one another where they almost went physical at some point.

Pere mentioned in the interview that the bickering between them started when Alex started a campaign against him in the house by telling other housemate including his closest pal, Cross that he wasn’t a good friend.

According to him,

This comes just days after his love interest in the Big Brother Naija “All Stars” edition, Mercy Eke, stated that their relationship in the house was merely an alliance.

During his performance at the “Warri Again” concert in Delta State, the comedian targeted Davido in his joke, referencing the singer’s multiple baby mamas. It’s worth noting that the married singer currently has three recognized baby mamas.

At the event, AY mentioned that despite having a small ‘preek’, Davido has fathered numerous children with different women, while he himself, with a big ‘dick’, had problems with impregnating his wife.

AY stated that he only has two children with his wife, with a 13-year age gap between them. He added that when a man wants to intentionally father children, he would realize that procreation is work.

The comedian’s statement sparked outrage on social media, with Davido’s fans criticizing him for making a distasteful joke about his manhood.
