Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze in a new message has asked Christians who say they must tithe to buy baskets of fruits, provisions, foodstuffs etc and take them to a mosque near them this Ramadan, if they want to genuinely practice tithing.
Read what he wrote below;
Dear #FreeNation,
Today, I have decided to teach on the controversial issue of tithing.
Although I have clearly explained that paying tithe is NOT a Christian practice, as Christians are the followers of Christ and Christ himself never paid or collected tithes, neither did his disciples, nor is there a single bible verse that shows were Christ instructed his followers to pay tithe; as a matter of fact Christ spoke more of alcoholic wine than of tithe, so I wonder how the modern day ‘tithe craze’ started.
As a matter of fact, Jesus only mentioned tithe once in the entire bible in MAT23:23 when he was chastising a Pharisee, saying they tithe on their herbs, but neglect the weightier matters of judgement and mercy (Kemi Olunloyo is still in prison but they collect tithe). Let’s remember that this same Christ was betrayed for money, not herbs.
So if we must tithe, let’s do it the way right way.
Let me start by casting some light on the favorite sheeple bible verse Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
This OLD testament bible verse instructs Jews to pay their tithes, not Christians – JEWS. Remember Christianity, which means ‘followers of Christ’, started with the disciples so there were NO CHRISTIANS in the Old Testament.
Malachi 3: 8-10 says pay tithe but doesn’t say how often, so for a more explicit illustration, let us visit Deuteronomy 14:22-29 where it is stated with utmost clarity that tithe, in the year of the tithe, belongs to Levites, orphans widows and strangers in equal measure.
By definition; a ‘stranger’ is a person whom one does not know or with whom one is not familiar. I personally believe that Muslims are strangers to us therefore qualify for the ‘strangers share’ of our tithe and what better time to give it to them than now, their holy month of Ramadan?
During the month of Ramadan, buy baskets of fruits, provisions, foodstuffs etc and take them to a mosque near you, if you want to genuinely practice tithing, the way Moses was instructed to, by the Lord himself. ~FRZ

MMM-Nigeria, a group for mutual financial aid and donations on Monday organised a green party show in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to celebrate Nigeria’s Democracy Day.
NAN reports that the party, which held at the Millennium Park, was opened to members of the group and non-members alike.
Seyi Bello, the President of Abuja Guiders Forum of the MMM-Nigeria said the gesture was part of solidarity by the group for Nigeria’s 18-years of uninterrupted democracy.
“This party is put together to celebrate our Democracy Day and since Nigeria’s flag is green-white-green, we decided to call it ‘green party’ as a mark of solidarity. We invited everyone to be a part of this event because friendship and unity is what this community of mutual help represents. As a community, we do not only provide help to our members, we also extend that to the larger society as part of our social responsibility,” he said.
Musicians, comedians and other entertainers in the territory performed at the event.
Bello explained that over three million Nigerians were members of the group.
He explained that contrary to some people’s opinion about the scheme, its a community of people providing financial help to each other on the principle of reciprocity and benevolence.
“That is what defines us as a community of people providing financial help to each other on the principle of reciprocity and benevolence. In MMM, there are no lenders and no debtors. One participant asks for help, another one helps.’’
He therefore called on leaders at all levels to deliver basic dividends of democracy to Nigerians, adding that the current recession was affecting ordinary Nigerians.
“As we celebrate democracy, let our leaders remember that we need change in all aspects of our lives,” he said.
Mavrodi Mundial Movement (MMM) is a Ponzi scheme, which was revived early this year after freezing participants’ accounts for a month in December 2016.

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig-Gen. Suleiman Kazaure, has said that the scheme will start posting corps members to farms soon.
in an interview with Newsmen during an Official visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Sagamu, Ogun, he said the NYSC has concluded preparations to begin the posting at the conclusion of the three-week orientation exercise.
He said that the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Oyo, Bauchi, and Kebbi had been earmarked for the pilot phase.
In His words:
“It should interest you to know that the NYSC will soon begin its agricultural development scheme where corps members will be posted to farms for their primary assignments.
Already the NYSC has acquired active farmlands across the nation’s geopolitical zones with four already fully operational in Kwali, Bauchi, Oyo and Kebbi.
After this orientation programme for the Batch ‘A’ corps members, we will begin posting some of them to these farms as a pilot phase. Though we are starting with four states for now, we will integrate the other states as time goes, the project is ongoing.
“The NYSC has provided all the tools and support you need to develop your capacity to the fullest, it now depends on you, there is no short cut to success but by hard work.
Of all the programmes outlined for you during the orientation, there is none more important that you must fully participate in than the SAED programme.
I want you to create your own jobs by being creative and innovative, you must strive to be labour employers rather than labour seekers. Please don’t look for white-collar jobs, your skills and potentials can serve you better in the way of realizing your dreams.

Olumide Babajide, one of the drivers of a Nigerian phone retail outlet, SLOT Nigeria Limited, has been arrested by operatives of Lagos Rapid Response Squad for the diversion of N5.95 million worth of mobile phones, laptops and its accessories, just as it assisted in the recovery of N4,654,224 worth of goods from the suspect.
The 42-year-old was tracked and arrested in Kaduna State, where he diverted the goods to, after taking them from the Slot Nigeria Office based in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos.
He was employed in March, by the company, and was directed to move the consignment to Slot Outlet in Victoria Island, Lagos on 2nd of May, when the incident happened.
The father of three who also has a diploma in computer science was also reported to have obtained a 32 inch Samsung LCD for N62, 000:00 while lodging in a hotel abandoning his wife and children in the Kaduna.
Reports are that the suspect at Kaduna bought a Peugeot 206, 1999 model with new registration number DKA 859 KA from the proceeds of his sales for N912, 000:00, and gave about 10 mobiles to passers-by.
He also gave out two phones to a new mistress while he was in the hotel at kaduna.
He said:
“I took the good from Slot’s outlet in Ikeja. I was to deliver it to another outlet in Victoria Island, Lagos, but instead I took the goods to Pam-Pam Hotel, Ikeja, while I returned the company’s Hilux car to R & S hotel, where we normally park the company’s vehicles.
This wasn’t the first time I would be moving laptops, mobile phones and their accessories from one outlet to the other. Since I joined the company in March and I was assigned the job of a delivery man, it had been my idea to divert the goods and abscond.”
“as soon as it was 5:00 p.m. that very day, I took a drop from the hotel with the consignment to Ejigbo, where I boarded a Kaduna bound bus.
Before I got to Kaduna, I already contacted one of the buyers. She bought N1.4 million worth of phones, laptops and phone accessories while I also sold in unit to some other buyers as well.”
Several media outlets reported this plagiarism with many Nigerians trooping to Pia’s Instagram page, calling her and her record label out, for the shameful rip off.
While, this was ongoing, Nigerian Media Outlet, Pulse Nigeria published a counter report that claims Pia never stole the song, instead, reverse is the case.
Read Their report below;
“The entire Nigeria is up in arms about a perceived theft of Phyno’s song by an American singer named Pia Mia.
The record in quote is a song named ‘I’m a fan’ which was released by Phyno in 2016 as part of his “The Playmaker” album. Phyno’s version featured Mr Eazi, and another relative newcomer, Decarlo.
The song which is an urban Carrribean fusion, has not been made a single by the Nigerian rapper, but it is one of the critically loved records on the project.
The song was produced by Benjamz.
On May 26, 2017, American singer and songwriter, Pia Mia, released a version of the song which featured singer Jeremih.
The similarities between hers and Phyno were present from the start. Pia Mia employs the same song title (I’m a fan’), extremely similar production, chorus, and verse.
On basic inspection, they are the same song, but Pia Mia’s version was produced by Remo the Hitmaker.
The basic crowd mentality with singles in Nigeria is that whoever releases it first owns the song, and very other version is a copy. And that’s what’s been happening. Pia Mia has been dragged across Nigerian social media as a thief, with fans and music enthusiasts accusing her of blatant theft.
But here’s the story. Pia Mia did not steal any song. She didn’t take Phyno’s record, neither did she appropriate the music. The true story is way beyond her.
The story of ‘I’m a fan’ single began from Phyno, Jeremih and producer Remo. According to verified sources close to Phyno’s camp, the rapper was working on incorporating Island-ready production on his sophomore album to tap into the international market. He was in talks with Remo, who sent him the song to work with.
“The guy sent the song to us, and we wanted to work together, but something happened and we couldn’t use it,” our source tells Pulse.
Due to issues regarding remuneration, clearances and demands, Phyno and Remo did not work together. But Phyno liked the idea of the sound, so he sought the help of producer Benjamz, who reconstructed the single, and brought on Mr Eazi and Decarlo to collaborate and release the record.
Remo, who had totally abandoned the Phyno project, still has his music, and so when Pia Mia tapped him and Jeremih for a new record, they had this one ready-made for her to record and release.
These things are not uncommon. In 2014, Phyno’s ‘Authe’ record featuring Flavour, and DJ Spinall’s ‘Gba gbe’ featuring Burna Boy possessed similar melody and lyrics in the choruses. But it was also a recording misunderstanding which was never taken to court. Both Burna Boy and Flavour had worked on a song, which was never finished. So they supplied it to other people.
So Pia Mia, did not steal a Nigerian song. Phyno and Remo had a misunderstanding, and the music has been duplicated.
Phyno got to read the article, and he has since reacted.. He rubbished the reports by Pulse.. Thus insinuating that Pia’s camp indeed stole his song. See his reactions below;
US-based Nigerian model, Nneoma Anosike, has sued Wema Bank PLC before a Lagos Division of the Federal High Court for allegedly using her photos for commercial purposes without authorization or consent.
The 22-year-old made the lawsuit through her father, Frank Anosike, who also acted as her lawyer, claiming N97 million as damages.
According to the plaintiff, the bank on 11th of April, 2016 used her photo on Instagram, for a commercial without her consent or authorization from Ford Models Inc, her American management company.
She therefore seeks an order directing the defendant to pay N75 million for allegedly passing off her services as well as an injunction restraining the defendant from passing off or causing others to pass off her professional services
She also requests for a declaration that she is entitled to her privacy of her correspondence under Section 37 of the Nigerian Constitution.
A Nigerian Twitter user, with the user name @Olubaba60 has narrated his story on how he almost died due to drug overdose – according to him, he got introduced to Tramadol and Refnol while in NYSC camp. He got addicted and couldn’t go a day without it.
He narrates how one day he visited his friends, took an overdose and had a seizure. Some of his friends ran away leaving him at the mercy of the house owners. Luckily for him he was revived.
The Lagos State Government has written a letter through the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, DPP, demanding that the Nigerian Police should forward the duplicate of the case file on the alleged domestic assault meted out on actress Mercy Aigbe by her husband Lanre Gentry.
The letter indicated the interest of the state government in prosecuting the assault case in the earliest possible time so that both victim and offender can have their case resolved promptly.
This is in line with the statement made by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, during this year’s ministerial briefing.
Mr Kazeem said:
“The DPP is committed to ensuring that all offenders are brought to book thereby discouraging impunity in our society. We are also committed to speedy trials, especially so that suspects are not detained for too long awaiting trial. It is our belief that both the victims of a crime and the alleged offenders deserve to have their cases resolved at the earliest possible time.”
According to Vanguard, the resolve to write the Police was sequel to the result of the recent medical check-up conducted on Mercy Aigbe that indicated alleged assault by her husband. Asides writing to the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigative Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos Mainland Local Government, DPP also copied other relevant agencies, to alert them of its plan.
It would be recalled that the Coordinator of the State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, DSVRT, Mrs. Titilola Vivour- Adeniyi, had argued during a sensitization programme that Domestic Violence is a crime committed against the State. She said that if anyone is abused, the state is also being abused, hence our mindsets have to change and domestic violence has to be treated as a crime against the state.
Hours ago, we shared a report of one 28 year old Union Bank staff, Paschal Chukwuebuka Nnorom, who died on May 13th after he was allegedly dragged along the road by a motorist, Joseph Udo who dented his SUV and attempted to flee without fixing it in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
In a new chat with LIB, Joseph denied dragging the deceased on the expressway. According to him, he was driving along the road when suddenly the deceased ran after his car and took hold of his car steering.
According to Joseph, he thought the deceased was an armed robber. He denied knowing that he caused a dent on the deceased’s car prior to the confrontation.
Read what he said below:
“It was on Saturday the 13th of May at about 3.30pm. I drove out from MTN road and was about to enter the express road. I looked at the express road to ensure that there was no other car coming from the express road. I then maintained the service lane as I saw other cars coming. I passed the MTN office and as I was about to go past one of commercial buses parked along the road. All of a sudden, I didn’t know that someone was pursuing me. Before I could understand what was happening, somebody grabbed me and the steering with my seat belt and the shirt that I wore. As he held me, the next thing was for him to hit me. I thought he was an armed robber. I was surprised. All my thinking was that he is an armed robber that wants to attack. From that moment, he started to drag with me. My vehicle was still moving. I said what is happening. Before I knew it, the next thing for this guy to do is for him to grab my steering and turn the steering to the speed lane. I was trying to divert so that I would not hit the pavement. That was the area that he now swapped the steering by force and then he hit the pavement. The next thing is for the two airbags to explode and they covered the vehicle. If you look at the vehicle, it is only the drivers side that was affected and the Tyre burst. From that moment, I did not know what was happening again because of the shock from the accident. Somebody just opened the door. When I came out, the ttouts there rushed down and started beating me. However other passersby came to my rescue, saying it was not my fault”. According to him, police officers arrived the scene and then started shooting teargas. The police thereafter took him to the station and detained him for 11 days. “This is the true story. Any other story being said is false. I spent about 11 days in the cell before they now transferred the case because they said they wanted to take the case to court. The court granted me bail last Tuesday May 23rd. Even while in court, they sent their people because I heard that the guy was whether Ogboni or whatever. So there people came to the court and said that whenever I come out, they would shoot me, they would do this. They threatened me, threatened my wife, threatened all family. Till now, my wife is not at home because of the threat. This people, they don’t even want anything from me. All they want is for me to remain in cell till I die. That is their aim. They are not even saying we should settle. The vehicle is still in police custody. As you see me so, I don’t have anybody. I am not a trouble maker. I never find trouble before. I am not a taxi driver. I don’t even use to go out” Joseph who assists his wife at her restaurant after he lost his job at an oil-field in Onne, denied knowing he scratched the deceased’s car “I didn’t even now. If I knew I would have stopped. I was moving at the back of one other vehicle. I didn’t even know. Had it been I knew, I would have stopped. Why shouldn’t I stop?”.
So everyone knows how weird the relationship between Davido and Special Spesh is – their friendship goals have had them in the news again!
Last night, the singer who is visiting Ghana, met some female fans and decided to give them a life in his car, nothing serious for a celebrity like himself yeah?! – the only thing here is, the car could not contain the singer, the girls and the hypeman.
So rather than take an Uber, Spesh had to ride with them in the trunk of the car, while Davido and the girls had the car to themselves.
This video of course, has had many fans talking, while many people have called Spesh stupid, others are seeing him as the loyal friend who goes the extra mile to make his friend and partner comfortable.
Also, the video comes just a day after the singer was spotted on SnapChat, making out with a random Ghanaian he met after a concert appearance in the country.

There’s an ongoing drama on Social Media right now, after American singer, Pia Mia released a new track titled “I am a Fan”.. But Nigerians are dragging her for stealing the song from Nigeria’s Phyno.
We quickly did a quick check on both of the songs.. and we found out that Pia’s version was a complete rip off of Phyno’s song. Pia’s version carries the same hook, same melody with altered lyrics, and that’s not counting the fact that is shares the same title with the song dropped in 2016 by Phyno, Mr Eazi and DeCarlo off his Playmaker’s album.
Listen to Pia Mia and Jeremih’s version:
And here’s Phyno’s song of same name, featuring Mr Eazi and DeCarlo:
Here’s sample of what upset music lovers are saying:
biobiosa: “CULTURE VULTURE ALERT! Straight frauding. She and Jeremiah stole this song from a Nigerian artiste phyno. This thievery has to stop.“
queen_jennila: “This is a stolen song from Nigerian Artist @phyno .. both of you should get yourself a lawyer @jeremih and @piamia ?.. not cool ???”
m.dottydot: “Bruh this is pure plagiarism!!!!“
More Comments:
Funny thing is, the song by Pia isn’t a cover, but an Official single released by her record label.. and she’s promoting it seriously!
