Multi-award winning Nollywood Actress, Rita Dominic has opened up as to why she’s yet to get married.
Rita says she’s hopeful that God will provide the “right man” of her dreams, and she’d get hitched when the time is right. She also revealed that she could have been married a long time ago, but things didn’t work out.
This was revealed while she was speaking in an interview with a lifestyle and Fashion Magazine, Schick.
In her words:
“I believe that God is in charge of my life and will present the right man to me at the right time.”
When asked whether social pressure don’t get to her, Rita replied,
“I am a human being and I would be lying to say that it doesn’t sometimes.
“More so because it’s something I sincerely want to do but the feeling passes when I remember that society will not live with the person.
“I will live with the man, so it is very important that I do it because I want to, not because society wants it for me.”
On the myth that sex, for women, gets better with age, Rita opined that sex at 40 is what you make of it.
“If you ordinarily don’t enjoy it, age won’t make a difference.
“I find that when a woman embraces her sexuality, many Nigerians equate it to being Ashewo, as if we should act like sex is not pleasurable.”
Rita described dating, as a nightmare, “especially in these days of social media where with one click you are all over the internet.”
Though she admitted that “I do date when someone special comes around.
“I love being totally drawn to someone and doing all those loving things couples do, but I am also wary of liars and bullies.”..(DailyPost)
More damning revelations have been coming in.. This time a source who spoke to KFB is alleging that Mercy Aigbe’s Husband never trusted her from the beginning.
Recall, news broke out yesterday, that her marriage crashed due to domestic violence from her husband, and of course an alleged extra-marital affair with a light-skinned lady named Opemititi.
Mercy had made an Instagram post advising women to “say no to domestic violence”, and her husband subtly replied with a post of his own, saying, “say no to promiscuous n irresponsible women”.
KFB reports that she reacted out to a source close to the Family, and they’re claiming the couples had trust issues.
“…I am not in the position to say but it has been a long time coming, Asiwaju doesn’t trust Mercy cos her movement is always suspicious. They always fight over allegations but it has never been this bad and sometimes he punishes her by not letting her leave the house, that is why she couldn’t attend this year’s AMVCA, they had a fight around that period. Twice now she has had miscarriages from being beaten by him…..this one just got really really bad but that doesn’t mean they have parted ways.”
When asked why Mr Gentry doesn’t trust his wife, the source said:
“He gets calls from peeps, friends who give him updates on her movements. She can tell him she is at so so place and at the end of the day, he will find out that she is somewhere else….it goes on and on like that…..”
When asked if actress Opemititi aka ‘Queen Stunner’ had a role to play in the crash, the close source said to KFB:
“I know she is very close to Asiwaju…I don’t have much details on that but things have grown cold between her and Mercy, they were once very close, she frequently visited Mercy’s boutique at Ogba and her home and when Mercy travels out, she is available to monitor things but things are not same between them anymore. So maybe, may be not I can’t say if she is having an affair with Asiwaju but she is closer to him than to mercy now, they avoid each other sort of”
Ufedo Sunshine turned a year older recently, and to mark her birthday, she celebrated it in Las Vegas, USA.
She shared photos from her trip to the “City of Light”, among which was a “sexy bedroom” photo. Then a particular fan reacted in the most ridiculous way: “All this nonsense Nollywood actresses that like to tempt innocent boys like me. God punish all of you”
As if that wasn’t enough, the fan went too far by saying that he will molest the actress: “I will rape you one day. You will see”.
Last year, Nollywood Actress, and creator of the Jenifa Diary, Funke Akindele, married her hearthrob, Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz in a private ceremony that held in the United Kingdom.
In this new interview with Goldenpearlmedia, JJC opened up on how he met and toasted Funke, how his children accepted their step mom.. He also talked about the “silent beef” between his wife Funke and Toyo Baby, amongst other things. Read the Full interview below:
What’s new about JJC Skillz?
Well, i’m now officially a music video and film director. For the past few years, I have been telling people that I was about to move into Nollywood, but they didn’t believe me. I have made that come through; i’m now of the directors of Jenifa’s Dairy.
I shot all London scenes and now we are back to Nigeria, still doing it. I’m one of the brains behind an upcoming TV series; Industreet. It was produced by my wife, Funke Akindele Bello.
We came up with the concept of creating a story around the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
I’m also part owner of the SOP music label that has four new acts. We are planning lot of movies this year, so you can see my hands are full.
You have always been a music artiste, now you have soared to a movie director, label owner, producer, etc, has this always been your dream?
To be honest I studied TV and Video Production in school. When I wanted to go to school, I couldn’t because I was a JJC. Later I went on to take on MVQ course; which is like a work training course. I studied TV and Video Productions. I left that course with 9 As. So, every department of that course, from script writing, directing, all, I did it so passionately, I came out with distinctions.
After I was done with the course and because of my grade, I was able to get a job with an amazing advertisement company. I was their assistant editor and worked there for 2 years. So, I have background in entertainment, directing, editing, it’s what I studied and it’s now my profession. But I left all that for music.
What’s the concept behind Industreet?
I have 20 years of experience in the music entertainment industry, and I believe nobody has been able to tell the story of African music scene. I was there in the beginning. So, I want the world to know what’s really going on behind the scene in Nigerian entertainment industry.
Is it like your true life story?
Not really. It’s the story of the betrayals, the rise and fall, the success, failures and lots more. It’s a story of a group of young people who gathered together to form a label, the SOP records. When you watch you’ll understand how the street took over the industry, that’s why we called it Industreet.
How much of your personal story is in Industreet?
I’ll about 70 percent of some of my life story was infused into the story line, because it was a passion project. I actually came up with this idea in 2009, and I shot about half and hour pilot of it. It was like a tester of the proposed TV show.
When will Industreet premiere?
It’s will premiere on May 19, 2017. That’s the day of the launch. Then a week after, they can watch it on our website. Even Jenifa’s Diary can be watched on the scene one App.
Since you got married, it seems you took a break from making your own music?
My own music is on hold, because I needed to focus on this great opportunity that came to my doorsteps. Jenifa’s Diary is a big project, you can see we have been winning awards here and there. We as a family, have our hands full already in different productions.
What challenges do you often face, doing all these; production, directing, music, etc?
It’s not just productions, we have our own website; www.sceneone.tv. And it’s also an App. Our focus is to create the content and dish it out to people out there. It hasn’t been easy, but God has been there for us.
The scripture said ‘When you find a wife, you find a good thing’, can you relate to that?
Of course, he who findeth a wife, findeth a good thing and obtained favour from the Lord. Most times, as a single man, you carry almost all your burdens alone. You’d have to worry about what you eat, and my cooking Skillz it’s not really that fantastic. But when I found my wife, I knew I had found my better-half. Now, when I think about things, I share it all with my wife. We wake up from same bed in morning and head to our field, because we are both into entertainment. She’s the actress, script writer, i’m the director, editor. She’s very hard working, in fact I don’t know anyone like us in this industry; she works day and night. We wake up every single day, with the mind set of making ourselves happy.
Funke, like you we all know is a very busy woman, does she still have time to cook for you?
Why not? It is said that the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Definitely, she cooks amazingly, but I told her to stop, so she can get enough rest. Most times, she would insist, because she wants to take care of her man. But I always insist, as we now have chefs.
Was it her cooking Skillz that attracted you to her?
My wife is a fantastic cook, she’s an amazing woman, everything about her attracted me to her. It’s not only one thing that attracts a man to a woman, but definitely, the cooking Skillz is a plus and my wife has it all. I would want to eat her meals for the rest of my life.
What’s her favourite dish for you?
Oh! Thats Ewedu and pounded yam; that’s number one. That food always sweep me off my feet, and i’d ask her, if she added ‘something’ extra to it. She’s loving, caring, hard working, she’s all a man could ever ask for.
So, how does it feel being married to a popular actress?
To be honest, I lived the better part of my life in the UK, so I didn’t really know who Funke Akindele was. When I met her, I just met someone that wanted a director for her TV show; Jenifa’s Diary. That was in 2013. We have been going on for a long time, people just found out in 2016.
We were very low key, because we are two popular people in the entertainment industry, so we have to protect our privacy.
How did you manage to hide it from the public eyes for so long?
Just like our wedding and our privates lives, we just have to keep it away from the public eyes. We already have so much out there on social media and people end up, blowing it out of proportion.
How did you meet Funke Akindele?
She wanted someone to direct her TV series, then I was about to embark on recording the JJC album then. Her sister introduced us, because she knew I was into music video directing.
So, when I met her, I told me she did a movie sometime ago and would like to turn it into a TV series. We started working together and preparing for the shoot, then one thing led to another. Here we are today, the rest is history. We just clicked.
Would you say, it was love at first sight?
Well, I would say so, because first time I saw her, I was wowed. She also told me that, when she first saw me, she went ‘Wow’. We tried to keep the whole work as professional as possible but along the line, emotions ran high.
How did you propose to her? On your knees, romantic date or just casual question?
I’m definitely a romantic person, so I gave her a dose of it. It wasn’t in an open place, because only very few people knew as at then.
So, that very day, she came home to meet flowers, candles everywhere; quite a romantic set up. When she saw it, she had no choice than to say ‘Yes’.
Were you afraid, she would say No?
Well, we had a very wonderful, beautiful relationship, but to be honest, I had proposed to her earlier and she laughed at me. I think that was a week after we met. I was like ‘I have never met anyone like you, marry me’. And she just laughed at me. And then, I promised that, that she would be my wife. I play around a lot, but then, I meant it.
You are both celebrities, in the media eyes, how do you succeed in maintaining your private life?
Private life, work life, we take it all one day at a time. We don’t worry about outsiders and what they would think, we just do us. Every single day, we have our prayers and talk about how the day would go. It’s quite a unique and complimentary relationship and i’m enjoying every bit of it.
Who apologies first when you both have little marital issues?
My wife would say, that she apologies first, but I refuse because I know I apologize first. Most times, we apologize at the same time. No relationship or marriage is perfect, so such things are normal. I’ll get upset, she’ll get upset, we later apologize to each other and let it slide. In fact, we hardly do find ourselves in such situations.
However, the important thing is not to carry over any arguments or misunderstanding to the next day. We are now family, so we help each other grow.
We both have had our own fair share of horrible relationship experiences, so we appreciate each other a whole lot. We value our love and hold it tight. A lots of people in the world are looking at us with envy, while some are hoping and praying that one day, we would break up. We are going to disappoint them because we try to hard to keep ourselves in check, encourage ourselves and most importantly, pray for ourselves.
When would the kids start coming?
Soon! God’s time is the best. We are working on it.
How did your kids accept their new step mum?
Well, before we got married in London, we all had a good relationship here in Nigeria. The kids were always seeing this beautiful woman around daddy, and always make him happy. They might be away and in different continent, but they are part of our daily activities. She is also very close to them, they met her digital first. They didn’t know she is an actress then, because in the UK, they hardly watch Nigerian movies, but they love so much. They all love each other. It’s a perfect blend.
I remember my daughter telling me, ‘Dad make sure you marry her. She’s a keeper”. And I did, I followed my daughter’s advice.
One of my songs, Save The Last Dance’ was written for my wife, she really saved the last dance for me.
Last year, it was reported that you had a fracas with your cousin, Mr. Moe Musa, because of Funke Akindele, that Moe had to move out of your house, what really happened?
Those who instigated such reports are very stupid! People just say and publish whatever they want without proper investigations and still get away with it.
Mr. Moe Musa as at then moved to the next block after mine. I lived in block H, while he is in block G. I spoke with the agents that got him the apartment and he moved in. He used to be in a room in my 3 bedroom apartment, so when my relationship, got serious, he moved on.
That’s not even the main reason. Moe has been in Nigeria then for almost 6 months, so he felt it was time to get his own place.
To be honest, when you first relocate to Nigeria, you’ll find it very hard to stay alone because you don’t understand the system yet. The way things work in Nigeria are different from the way it work in other countries. Moe stayed with me for a while, so he could get used to the Nigerian system. How to get food, how Generator works and other confusing stuffs.
Days ago, Jenifa Diary actor, Toyosi reportedly left the productions after a misunderstanding with Funke and all fingers were pointing at you, what really happened?
I don’t know why Toyosi left and it has nothing to do with me. Just like any character in a TV series, she can go and return. The only permanent character in the series is Jenifa. Falz has gone and came back. In the script Toyosi is married and has gone to France with her husband to live for a while. So, anything can happen. When she comes back, you’d see her on screen, if not, then that’s what the script said.
But it was also reported that Funke un-followed her on social media…..true?
Well, I don’t know about that. I’m not 100 percent sure of that. I’ll have to check Instagram to find out about that.
Funke Akindele turned into a singer, just to surprise you on your birthday, how does that make you feel?
It was awesome. My wife and the SOP team wowed me. I noticed that whenever I come into the studio they all looked funny. They even sent me on a fools errand, just to shoot a video for me, under my nose. I really didn’t see it coming.
I woke up that day, to see all of them wearing a t-shirt for me, sang for me and a whole lot. It made me really happy. I thank God, I have my best friend as a wife, then the best team ever! I’m indeed so lucky.
The Presidency, through the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has said Buhari will not resign despite calls by some people that he stepped down to attend to his ailing health.
Read the Report by Punch Below:
The Presidency has ruled out the possibility of President Muhammadu Buhari resigning his position over his ill health as being suggested by some Nigerians.
In an interview with journalists in Lagos on Friday, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said those calling for the President’s resignation were merely expressing their opinion.
According to him, the views of over 15 million Nigerians that voted for the President were more important than such opinions, while expressing confidence hat God would fully restore Buhari’s health.
The President returned from medical vacation to the United Kingdom on March 10, where he spent 49 days. And since his return from vacation, Buhari has been absent at some Federal Executive Council meetings, including that of last Wednesday, where Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presided.
It was learnt that the President needed some rest and had “asked that all the files on his table be brought to him at his official residence in the Presidential Villa.”
Adesina had attended the launch of the book, “Against the Run of Play,” written by Olusegun Adeniyi, Chairman, ThisDay Editorial Board and former Special Adviser, Media to late President Umaru Yar’Adua.
The President’s absence from public functions for weeks now, has heightened public concerns about the President’s state of health with some Nigerians calling for Buhari’s resignation should he be unfit to deal with the rigours of office.
When asked if the President would yield to the calls for his resignation by some Nigerians over his poor health, Adesina said, “Well, it is an opinion, but don’t forget that about 15 million people elected the president so if one or two people expressed their opinion, will their opinions override that of 15 million people who voted for him? So those who are expressing their opinions have rights to their opinions.”
Adesina, however, expressed confidence that through prayers of Nigerians, God would fully restore Buhari’s health.
He said, “Yesterday there was still a press briefing saying there is no need for apprehension. God spared the president. In the first place, he said he had never been as sick as he was before, the same God that spared him will also ensure that he returns to full health. Nigerians prayed, God answered. Nigerians are still praying, God will still answer. That is all we believe.”
Meanwhile, President Buhari was on Friday absent at the Juma’at service held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The Juma’at has been the only public function attended by the President in the last three weeks.
The President has been joining Muslim faithful for prayers inside a mosque near his office since he stopped attending the service at the National Mosque, Abuja.

Three state governors who probably had planned to join Buhari for the prayers were however present.
The governors who attended the prayer session included Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun); Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara); and Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano).
The governors had on Thursday joined their colleagues for a meeting of the National Economic Council at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
No official reason has been given for Buhari’s absence at the prayer session as of the time of filing this report.
Buhari returned to the country on Friday, March 10 after his 49-day medical sojourn in London. He did not attend the Juma’at service that day apparently because of jet lag.
But since then, the President has not missed any of the Friday prayers until that of yesterday.
On March 17, Buhari was joined at the service by top government officials including the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje; Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN); Minister of Defence, Dan Mansur-Ali; Minister of Interior, Abdurahman Dambazzau; Director-General of the Department of State Services, Lawal Daura; Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service, Hammed Ali; and the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, among others.
On March 24, the President was present and was joined by Magu and Daura among others.
On March 31, Buhari attended the prayer session and was joined by Ganduje and the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, among others.
April 7 was not different as the President was present and was joined by the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari; Magu; Ali and Daura among others.
On April 14, Buhari was also present and was joined at the mosque by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun; Malami, Dan-Ali and Magu among others.
On April 21, the President was present and was joined by the Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello; Malami and Magu among others.
It will however be recalled that the Presidency had on Thursday said as eager as the President wanted to be up and about, he had been advised by his doctors to take things slowly.
In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the Presidency however assured Nigerians that there was no need for apprehension over the state of health of the President.
Shehu, who noted that the President himself on his return to the country made Nigerians aware of the state of his health while he was in London, added that full recovery could be a slow process, requiring periods of rest and relaxation.
He said, “Despite his lack of visibility, Nigerians should rest assured that President Buhari has not abdicated his role as Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria. He receives daily briefings on the activities of government, and confers regularly with his Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
“His private residence, in which he has been spending the majority of his time recently, also has a fully equipped office.
Nigerians are quite pissed with Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed after he claimed on-air that Senegal makes the best Jollof rice.
The whole drama started yesterday during his chat with CNN’s Richard Quest. Lai was asked which country he thinks prepares the best jollof rice, the Minister of Information and Culture responded, “Senegal”.
Immediately he made mention of Senegal, Nigerians were shocked to the bone marrow, because for many years, Nigerians have battled for the country’s honour, on Jollof rice, tenaciously insisting that they prepare the best jollof rice.
Now, Nigerians think Lai Mohammed is a traitor, and should be fired for treason.. They are really dragging him from limb-to-limb on Twitter.. Read some comments below:

Mercy Aigbe’s Husband, Mr. Lanre Gentry has reacted to viral reports that he brutally battered his actress wife, Mercy Aigbe over an alleged infidelity.
Recall reports by LIB claims that Aigbe’s marriage crashed after the actress “was tired”.. and she couldn’t “keep it in anymore”.
The report further alleged that her husband was having an extra-marital affair with a light-skinned woman named, Opemititi. LIB shared pictures of the injury Mercy sustained after her husband allegedly beat her to a pulp.
Now, reacting to this whole mess, Lanre Gentry is claiming he has never laid hands on his wife as he loves her so much.
He took to his Instagram to declare the love he has for his wife: “I love my wife so much” adding that “Well I know my wife did not have hand in this because have never beat my wife and I we never beat her because I love her so much”
Some reactions after he denied beating his wife.. Read some comment below:
In December 2016, Kemi Olunloyo warned Mercy Aigbe-Gentry of an impending marriage crash. She warned the actress to stop flaunting herself on Social Media and spend more time with her husband.
“@MercyAigbeGentry is a talented #Nollywood star with a flair for “online glamour”. Nothing wrong with glamming yourself up for your fans. Most Nigerian actresses are narcissistic females to begin with and I’m a certified narcissist myself.
“Many Nigerian females are fake and can’t even define their own personalities but look up to female stars and want to be like them. This is why I insist I’m NOT and will never be a role model.
“I have mentored many kids but never want any of them to ‘be like me’. There are attributes of me some parents don’t like yet they want their kids to be me. I’m outspoken, blunt and keep it real. Most women in Nigeria are not but stay as solid mumus. There is only one #KemiOlunloyo .
“Last month I warned Mercy in a post that she’s going to end up like @TokeMakinwa if she doesn’t limit her glam posts online. Honestly your husband is out there Mercy.
“#MajeAyida was busy elsewhere while Toke was glamming up the Gram. Mercy shows off her phone case engraved with her image, something her fans will be thirsting for too.
“They log on fast to see the latest fashion sense. It’s nice to be addicted to celebs. Even I as a media celebrity in US/Canada have now become the top media celebrity in Nigeria still has my own favourite celeb @aihmakhuolutoyin.
“Spend more time with your husband Mercy. I’m seeing things you don’t see. They call me the #Snitchlady. *winks*..and stay beautiful young lady.”
Kemi Olunloyo over time has earned herself a questionable image and reputation as a result of her brand of commentaries on social media as well as her eccentric displays. She was jailed in port-harcourt over defamatory comments she made against Pastor Ibiyeomie.
Meanwhile, the lady who has been fingered for being the “number 2” reason for Mercy’s marriage crash as being identified as Opemitipo. See her photos here.

We brought you reports earlier from LIB about the marriage crash of Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe over an alleged Domestic Violence from her husband.
Apparently, the details are quite messy, and a light-skinned lady has been fingered to be a factor that caused the marriage crash.
LIB learnt that the lady named Opemititi, being accused of sleeping with Mercy’s husband was like a “younger sister” to Mercy Aigbe, until things went to the gutters.
LIB gathered that a domestic violence was the number cause for the marriage crash, and now we’re getting reports opemititi has having an affair with Mercy Aigbe’s husband.
LIB is reporting that Mercy Aigbe’s marriage has crashed after series of domestic violence from her husband who accused her of having extra-marital affairs. From the photos shared by LIB, the actress seen with shocking injuries she sustained from the violence.
Sources close to the actress claim that Mercy’s husband turned his back against their marriage after he kicked off an affair with another woman, Opemititi.
Confirming the story, the actress made an Instagram post advising women to “say no to domestic violence”, and her husband subtly replied with a post of his own, saying, “say no to promiscuous n irresponsible women”.
Spanish couple Alejandro and Tania spilled their family secrets on live television after Alejandro accused his wife of cheating with his own adoptive mother.
Speaking on the Caso Cerrado, a show that handles legal cases, the aggrieved husband felt betrayed by his wife hence why he was asking for a divorce.
In his narration to the TV show host, Ana Maria Polo, Alejandro claimed that his wife refused to have sex with him while they were dating and only agreed to consummate their union on the night of their wedding.
On her own part, Tania defended herself by revealing her congenital condition. She was born without a vagina, a condition she was diagnosed with at the age of 14, and she insists she loves her husband.
“I’m not a regular woman. I’ve never had a vagina,” said Tania who came to the show armed with her test results. “In my case, it’s completely absent.” I have suffered greatly because of this.”
Tania added that she underwent surgery to create a vaginal cavity so she could have penetrative sex with her husband, but it was too painful. It was for this reason she asked her mother-in-law to penetrate her with a dildo to help widen the vaginal cavity.
A doctor invited to speak on the show confirmed that women with such conditions need to “continually dilate themselves” as part of their ongoing treatment and therapy.
Well, that was not okay with Alejandro who still wanted a divorce, and the show host, Ana Maria Polo, granted the application.
While the case is a heartbreaking one, it has raised pertinent questions like: why did Tania refuse to share her story with her husband?
A similar case is the Georgian woman Devan Merck who was born with the same condition and diagnosed when she was 12. She later underwent the life-changing surgery, married and shared her story with her husband.
The couple hope for a child, and appear to lead a happy life.
Now, one wonders why one female chose to hide her condition from her husband and is choosing to only speak out on national TV, while the second shared her story with her partner.

An 18-year-old guy, identified as Jauan Durbin has revealed that his mother disowned him after she discovered he usually wears makeup.
Durbin is known to behave and apply makeup to his face like Nigeria’s very own cross-dresser, Bobrisky.
Popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky.
The Morehouse College freshman tweeted out a screenshot of a text conversation with his mom where she expressed her extreme disappointment with his choices.
“I do not approve of this bullshyt,” she wrote. “[What the hell] is wrong with you? I am so disappointed. You are a male. [Why the hell] do you have on eyelashes, eyebrows and makeup? I’m completely done.”
Jauan responded back with a firm “OK”, but he captioned the tweet with this:
“This hurts. It really does. But I’m going to live my truth until the day I die.”

Lai Mohammed has once again defended the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister of Information and culture has said that the fact that President Buhari or any Minister don’t go to their respective offices, does not mean they are not working.
He said this in reaction to backlash from Nigerians after President Buhari failed to attend the Federal Executive Council Meetig on Wednesday April 26th.
Mohammed yesterday told state house correspondents that President Buhari decided to work from his home that day hence his absence from the FEC meeting.
Garba Shehu who is one of the presidential spokesperson, yesterday released a statement saying that doctors have asked President Buhari to slow down with work due to the fact that he is just recovering from an ailment.
Lai who spoke with Channels TV in Ilorin yesterday said President Buhari’s absence from the FEC meeting does not mean he is sick.
“I think the President has been quite transparent. The President has told you that he was ill a few month ago, he has come back and he is taking his time. It is not correct for you to say that you don’t see him at public functions. That’s not correct. The fact that a President or a minister does not come to office, does not mean he is not working. I’m here today for instance, those who have come to my office would not see me. Mr President receives ambassadors, he does all he ought’s to do but the fact that he didn’t come for the Federal Executive Council meeting does not mean he is ill and anyway, there is no compulsion for him to preside over every FEC meeting” he said.
A former close friend of Stephanie Otobo, Miss Yvonne Ogiamien has revealed the character behind Miss Stephanie Otobo, the canadian-based singer who has been dragging and blackmailing Apostle Johnson Suleiman, President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide to filth with claims of romance and infidelity.
In a telephone chat with Journalists, Yvonne spoke about some intimate secrets of Stephanie, her life in Sapele before she relocated to Canada.
Meanwhile, in a new video that has gone viral on the social media, four ladies claiming to be close friends of Stephanie Otobo, claimed that Otobo’s allegations are all lies and that she was known for her fake and indecent lifestyle..
Excerpts as reported by NAIJ.com
How long have you known Stephanie?
We were childhood friends but I travelled to Canada after I got married about 10 years ago but she came in here few years back.
How close are you two?
We were close enough that sometimes she stays over with my family here in Toronto.
You were? Are you no longer friends?
Certainly not! Not after all this mess.
Mess? Ok, we will get back to that. But do you know a little or few things about her private life?
Sure! We shared information up till when she was to travel to Nigeria in January, though I had my reservations about her lifestyle.
Did she at any time mention her relationship with Apostle Johnson Suleman?
Yeaaa! That was about 2015. She told me and a few other friends how she got the number of the preacher from one of the church members here in Toronto. How she called the man for prayers and also pleaded for financial help. She told us how generous the man was and how the man assisted her without ever meeting her.
Was that all, she told you?
That was all. She told me each time the man of God sent some money to her about two or three occasions with a stern warning that she should quit her way of life.
What do you have to say about the allegations by Stephanie that she was in a relationship with Apostle Johnson Suleiman?
Of course not! That ain’t possible! We were always watching the man and his preaching’s on YouTube uptill early this year. Can a girl be in a relationship with someone she hasn’t met? Maybe, she was obsessed with the man of God. I have known Stephanie since her days in Sapele. What I know for certain is that she is not new to controversies. At some point, I felt she was possessed because she was good at scamming and twisting stories with so much finesse. Stephanie would do anything for money.
Are you saying the allegations might be false?
If it were someone else, I would have said there can’t be smoke without fire. But in Stephanie’s world, there can be smoke without fire. This is why I can say on good authority that it is a fat lie because of her antecedent. I know her so so well. For example, Stephanie started courting controversies from as early as the age of 15. She came in here as a student, through a phony admission syndicate in America from where she migrated to Canada. That is Stephanie for you. She would go to any length to make ends meet, including blackmail and extortion.
Are you by chance inferring that the allegations on Apostle Johnson Suleman are false?
As much as I know, If Stephanie was ever in a relationship, I and our other friends would know. She will flaunt it. Not this type she now claimed she made good money from. £8,000, €10,000 etc? Stephanie made all that money and she is still squatting in Canada? How is that possible? We were all bemused to hear and read in the press that she lost her house and cars owing to Apostle Suleman’s failed promise to marry her. This is absolute falsehood and wickedness as Stephanie never had a house. The only time she had an apartment for a few months was when she lied to a lawyer last year that she was pregnant and the man hired a condo for her in Toronto. But when he found out that she was not pregnant, he ejected her. Is that the same house Apostle made her lose?
Can you describe Stephanie Otobo?
Stephanie is a smart girl. And a coarse one as such. She knows how to play her cards. And it is unfortunate that she took the game to a dangerous level by involving Apostle Johnson Suleman. I want to suspect she was looking for something from the man of God and it didn’t work out. Maybe she was obsessed about the man of God, who knows? If not, how would a woman be talking about having an amorous relationship with someone she hasn’t met? Only last year, Stephanie was sleeping with a man called Ola who was said to be genuinely in love with her until she messed him up. She allegedly took his money, promised to marry him but dumped him after breaking the relationship. In return, I gathered that the said Mr. Ola made a video of Stephanie, including clips of her stealing his money. The video was handed to the pastor of their church during testimony time prompting her to flee and stop attending the church. Before leaving town, she temporarily teamed with another lover and together they reportedly engaged in several scams, including Internet fraud. But the bubble burst when her partner was caught and jailed for fraud. Having acquired a negative reputation in Toronto, Stephanie moved to Vancouver where she topped her game by joining so many dating sites. It was also in that city she became a stripper.
But why do you think she is doing all these?
What I can say for certain is that Stephanie does not do anything except for the money. I know for sure that, that is what played out in this case. She probably saw an opportunity and wanted to grab it or was lured into it by some folks in Nigeria who didn’t like the Apostle’s face but it backfired, unfortunately. I am so ashamed on her behalf.
She just released a gospel song entitled “I depend on God”. Don’t you think she may have given her life to God?
Hahahahaha…what the world expected her to release was a confession video or a video of an open apology to the man of God and the body of Christ as a sign of repentance. The prayer of an unrepentant sinner is an abomination before God.
A Nigerian Facebook User, Sheyi Sheyor who studies at the Osun State University, Osogbo has taken to his Facebook page to brag about raping a girl.

A woman simply identified as Felicia died immediately she got to Uyo From Lagos.
Apparently, it was revealed that her husband took her to Lagos park alive to board a vehicle going to Uyo.. and then made arrangements with a pastor to pick her up for prayers… But on getting to Uyo park she gave up the ghost.. and the pastor she was meant to meet with ran away.
Felicia was very sick..
Read the story as shared by AB Isong:
DEAD ON ARRIVAL:
Somehow i wanted to overlook this story, but it boils down to marrying a wrong man hence this post.
Earlier today (thursday 6.pm precisely), I went to Itam Park long distance bus terminus where i was expecting a parcel from Lagos.
On arrival I saw an unusual crowd and I decided to get close. Only to find this woman dead and laid beside the young shall grow bus which transported her to Uyo.
I was privileged to ask a co-passenger who boarded same vehicle with her from Lagos to Uyo.
She said the woman’s husband brought her to the park alive to board the vehicle. And that He knew the woman wasn’t very strong while embarking on the long journey. And had made arrangement with a pastor here in Uyo to pick her and commence prayers.
The woman arrived Uyo alive, stepped out of the vehicle, asked for her luggage to be given to her which the driver obliged. Seeing she was weak, they offered her a chair to sit while waiting for pick-up.. the next thing she fell off the chair and that was the end of her life here on earth.
Minutes later, The Pastor came but was told from a distance that the lady he just spoke with on phone is dead. The man took off and disappeared.
Everyone deserted her but the good Samaritan in me came alive and I decided not to leave her there just like others did. I had to put a call across to the Nigerian Police and they responded swiftly. they came to the scene but my joy was complete when a woman came around and identified the lady as Felicia.. she wept and said Edoh Eke Wod meaning (they married her to kill her)… she has been taken to the mortuary by the Nigerian Police.
But my trouble is, Why will a man allow his wife travel such a long distance alone knowing too well she was sick?
Did he ever love that woman?
Did he know the woman won’t survive and decided to send her back to her state for death?
Why didn’t he take her to the hospital for treatment?
Oh Lord! help us… My wife is still weeping.
I’m happy i did my best.
Woman I don’t know you, But may God bless your soul.
Rest In Peace.
Don’t just write R.I.P, the reason i wrote this is for us to learn from it.
Never stay with a man who has no regards for you. if you die he will marry another. Marriage is not by force. You can still make heaven without marriage ooh! Marriage is not a yardstick to measure success.
I speak in anger! if staying single will keep you alive, please stay single and live than to marry and die.
So, our very own Tony Tida TMG is trending.. for a comment he made on one of Our Post on Facebook… and it wouldn’t really be cool if we also don’t carry the news. So, this might be coming late..
The Post we made on Facebook, reads: “World War III: North Korea Threatens to Wipe Out United States”
…and in his witty way, Tony made a comment, begging the North Korean leader, to place the “target” on his uncle who sold their only Family land and ran away with the money. In his words:
I don’t have a problem with the wiping out of the state but please i want the bomb to be directed straight to New Orleans Louisiana so that it will hit Philip my uncle direct in the head…..he thinks he can sell our only family land and run away with the money
His comment has since been trending on social media.
So, Let’s feed you with this drama that happened between TBoss and a BossNation Die-Hard Fan.

“If am to choose a true heart, I will go for uriel… she’s just adorable #noFORMING.. at last we are had the “Girls chit chat” … you guys won’t believe what we’ve talked about”
Then, a TBoss Fan came on her page to spill her hate on Uriel, the fan mocked Uriel for crying over a welcome home party, and finally getting one. The fan who’s obviously a lady wrote:
“What’s her welcome home party for. she wasn’t in the top 5. You guys are trying too hard to compete with the Boss. I’m getting annoyed. Let me unfollow this fake girl”.
Of course, Gifty had a reply for the hate comment and said:
