Lawyer Consultant and Counsel, Emeka Ugwuonye has shared a conversation he had with someone who claims he was First Kidnapped by some ladies after his “Whatsapp Group Ponzi Scheme” crashed.
He revealed that he started the Whatsapp Ponzi Group to help people out of recession, but unfortunately for him, the group crashed and people lost money. He claims he was later kidnapped by some ladies in Akwa where they beat him, took his money and demanded for his ATM pins so they could transfer all his money to their accounts. Sources on Wednesday told SaharaReporters that the $50 million uncovered in a residential building located at Osborne Towers, Ikoyi, by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) belongs to the sacked Managing Director, Operations at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue.
Nnamdi-Ogbue, was sacked alongside other three top Managing Directors at the NNPC over the ‘missing’ petrol scandal involving Capital Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited owned by businessman, Ifeanyi Ubah.
SaharaReporters reports that the cook who served Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue, absconded with cash and pieces of jewelry worth $6million in 2016.
The cook, Mr. Gabel Segbedji, a national of Benin Republic, took off with the loot in a Toyota Camry car, which also belonged to her boss.
The operation leading to the discovery was followed by a whistle blower’s confidential alert received by the anti-graft agency in the early hours of Wednesday.
The breakdown of the money found in the house is $43.4million, £27,800 and N23.2million.
According to the source, the movers of the bags made believe that they were bringing in bags of clothes. Another source who is conversant with the apartment of interest indicated that a woman usually appears on a different occasion with Ghana-Must-Go bags.
“She comes looking haggard, with dirty clothes but her skin didn’t quite match her outward appearance, perhaps a disguise,” the source said.
On getting to the building, operatives met the entrance door locked. Guards at the gate explained that nobody resides in the apartment, but some persons come in and out once in a while.
In compliance with the magisterial order contained in the warrant, the EFCC used minimum force to gain entrance into the apartment, the agency said.
Monies were found in two of the four-bedroom apartment. A further search of the wardrobe by operatives in one of the rooms was found to be warehousing three fireproof cabinets disguisedly hidden behind wooden panels of the wardrobe. Upon assessing the content of the cabinets, neatly arranged were US dollars, British pound sterling, and some naira notes in sealed wrappers.
Preliminary findings indicate that the funds are suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activity. Investigations are ongoing.
The facility is said to be owned by a former PDP Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu.

In an interview which Beat FM shared last night, the rising star opened up on why she bared her breasts, her failure to recite the National Anthem, and the viral clip of her saying she would spend the N25m in a week if she won it.
“The Big Brother house was a place where I was myself. At home I don’t shower with my clothes on,” said the ex housemate whose real name is Tokunbo Idowu, adding that she stripped to take her bath because that’s a given.
However Tboss added that she had to shield a part of her from the camera. But she noted that stripping had become normal to her because, “Usually, in my house, I just walk around naked.”
The housemate revealed that she never knew that exposing her breasts would cause a lot of drama on social media, that it wasn’t until she returned that her father sent her the viral screenshot that earned her so much criticism. “He actually did a [snapshot]. He just sent me a picture of myself, and I was like, ‘Oh, Lord!”
Asked if her father was aware before now that she pierced her nipple, the BBN star expressed mild outrage. “He is now, [but] why would he know about that [before #BBNaija]?”
TBoss addressed the National Anthem saga that disfavoured her before many Nigerians. “I can totally recite the National Anthem,” she insisted, “[But] I was under pressure and tired because the whole day, we [were] in the sun, talking. It was a very emotional day and I was really drained. I had a meltdown and it was very very justified.”
For the ex housemate, she is not worried about the monumental hatred from folks on social media, because when she was asked to officially address the trolls, she waved that away, saying, “No. They will come around.”
Also, the housemate clarified, again, her comments about how she would spend the N25m if she won. Recall that the initial clip was deceptively edited, but the actual footage never went viral to help counter the first wrong impression people had of her after watching the first clip.
Hence, the ex housemate officially addressed it. “I said I have so many projects on ground that I need [the money for]. I don’t have a house. I don’t have a car and I would like to get myself a car. And I have responsibilities. I have 5 godchildren. I have siblings,” she said.
Continuing, “By the time I would share this money…Plus, I have to pay tithe and tax.”
To close off her interview, TBoss voiced what many avid fans feel about her – why many people do no like her. “I am always misunderstood. I would sneeze and it would be taken the wrong way. If I burp, [same],” she concluded.
Moses Momoh, is cooling his heels in a police cell after allegedly threatening to circulate the nude photos of a 60-year-old retiree, identified only as Pat. The secondary school leaver had struck a relationship with Pat on Facebook after sending her a friendship request.
The duo conversed frequently on Whatsapp, where they engaged in virtual romance and sex which Momoh was recording and saving.
It was gathered that Momoh later demanded money from Pat, which the latter refused to give him.
He was alleged to have threatened to post her nude photos on the Internet if she didn’t give him the sum of N1m. The Benin-based sexagenarian was said to have reported the case at the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos State.
A police source said,
“In the course of investigation, we discovered that the man lied about his age; he told the woman he was 47 years old. When the woman saw his profile pictures, she queried him. He replied the woman that pictures could be deceptive.
The woman told him she was 60 years old and since the age difference was insignificant, they started a relationship.” Pat later tricked him to a hotel in Lagos. Some policemen positioned themselves at the hotel.
“When he entered the hotel room, he asked her to go and shower. He also undressed. The woman, after bathing, asked him to get her a drink. He had stepped out when she quickly alerted the police to his presence in the room. He was then arrested,” the source added.

There was a huge drama at the Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday, April 10 when most of the lawmakers declined to attend plenary session meant to be presided over by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Wasiu Sanni-Eshinlokun.
The House had adjourned sitting to Monday after its last plenary session on Tuesday, April 4.
However, early Monday, P.M.EXPRESS learnt that the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, had sent words that he had an official assignment to attend hence would not be able to preside over the sitting, automatically directing his Deputy to take over.
When the time for the sitting came and all support staff of the Assembly were ready for plenary sitting to commence, the lawmakers were nowhere to be found. Only about two or three of them were present at the chamber, clearly not enough to form quorum for sitting.
What really confounded close observers of the Legislative House was the fact most of the lawmakers were in their offices ready for the day’s sitting. However when they found out that the Speaker was not going to preside over the sitting, and the Deputy Speaker will take over, they refused to attend.
When it became obvious that quorum could not be formed for the sitting to commence, the support staff left the Chambers and the plenary was cancelled for the day.
Our correspondent gathered from some of the lawmakers that they decided not to attend the sitting because they did not have confidence in the Deputy Speaker who was supposed to preside over the sitting.
“Most of us don’t really want the Deputy Speaker to preside over plenary session of the House because of his disloyalty to the leadership of the House in particular and the entire House,” one of the lawmakers told this medium.
Another lawmaker confided in our correspondent that most of the lawmakers were not happy with the obsession of the Deputy Speaker to become Speaker at all cost.
“His obsession to become Speaker at all cost has made him denigrate House members and the Speaker as incompetent at every opportunity available to him. There are about eight other lawmakers who contested for the position of Speakership with Rt. Hon. Obasa but while others have accepted the ascendance of Obasa and have been working harmoniously with him, he (Sanni-Eshinlokun) still harbours the ambition of becoming the Speaker thereby getting involved in clandestine activities to discredit the Speaker and divide the House,” the lawmaker said.
A member of the House pointed out that the Deputy Speaker once represented the House at an event which took place at the Chinese Embassy without the knowledge and approval of the Speaker while it was also alleged that he was sleeping with an aide of the Speaker to get information on happenings in the Speaker’s office.
The lawmakers who spoke with our correspondent said that their absence at the plenary session where the Deputy Speaker was supposed to preside over was their own way of telling him that they are aware of his clandestine activities to divide and cause problems in the House.
“It is our own way of not only protesting against this but also a way of passing vote of no confidence in him. And my brother, this just a warning for him to change his way. If he does not change his way, then we will be forced to remove him,” our source said.

Serious crisis has engulfed the Great Overcomers Ministry Church in Abaranje, Ikotun, a Lagos suburb over an allegation of adultery and rape levied against one of the church pastors.
P M.EXPRESS gathered that the alleged sex scandal has put the entire congregation in disarray as some members have left in annoyance because the church’s General Overseer, a female was in the thick of the whole scandal.
It was gathered that a former assistant pastor in the church, Okwudili Ozor was accused of allegedly sleeping both with the General Overseer, Prophetess Gloria Udeh and her 15-year old daughter, an act which has landed him in prison.
Trouble started when Prophetess Udeh accused Ozor of forcefully having carnal knowledge of her teenage daughter in January.
She reported the matter to the Police at Area M Command in Idimu, Lagos who arrested and detained for nine days before he was taken to court but luckily, the court did not sit on that day.
He was later released by the Police.
But in a twist, a team of Policemen from Idimu Police Station early Tuesday morning invaded Ozor’s house in Ikotun, Lagos, arrested and charged him before Ogba Magistrates’ Court for raping Gloria’s 15-year old daughter.
The Court’s Chief Magistrate, Mrs Davis Abegunde granted him bail but remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
But this latest arrest and the remand of Ozor has led to the opening of a can of worms.
The suspect denied ever sleeping with the teenage girl as alleged by the Prophetess, but instead he admitted he has had affairs with the woman who felt heartbroken that he dumped her for another woman.
According to him, the woman has been married for some years and had four children before she separated from her husband.
He said when he joined her church; the prophetess made him her assistant and asked him to marry her so that they can build the church together.
Ozor said he declined the proposal but told her he already had a woman in his village he wanted to marry and this did not go down well with her.
“She tried to pressure me to change my marriage plans but I refused. I later went ahead to marry my wife in 2015 and that’s when the trouble started,” he said.
The suspect claimed that after he was arrested in January but later released, the prophetess demanded that he should pay her N500,000 before she would withdraw the matter from the police.
He said he pleaded that he had no such amount to give her and she reduced it to N200,000, yet he could not raise the money and that’s when she decided to use her influences to deal with him.
When P.M.EXPRESS contacted Prophetess Gloria, she denied the claim that she was sleeping with Ozor.
According to her, the case she reported to the police was that of sexual assault on her daughter.
She claimed Ozor and his relations have been pleading for her to forgive him which she gave him condition which he had accepted.
Gloria said he was only angry with Udeh, who he accused of denting her image and that of her church following his allegations that they were sleeping together which had made some members to leave the church.
On why it took her two years before she reported the sexual assault matter to the police, she declined to speak further and walked away.
When our correspondent visited the Command to speak with the Area Commander, he was not around.
However, police source confirmed the incident and declined to make further comment on the matter.
A 23 year old Father of two, Kadeel Newby, was killed in a drunk-driving car crash while he was taking his mistress home.
Newy was described as driving like Top Gear’s Stig before losing control of his Toyota Yaris. Mechanic Newby, who was not wearing a seatbelt, and 21-year-old lover Natasha Gregson were catapulted out of the rear window of the vehicle after it ploughed into railings.
She survived with a fractured skull and a laceration to her liver but Newby died later in hospital from multiple injuries.
Blood tests showed he was one-and-a-half times the drink driving limit. This week Newby’s wife Korette, 26, listened as details of her husband’s six-day relationship with Natasha were revealed at an inquest into his death.
In a statement Natasha, who was not at the Bolton hearing at the request of Korette said:
“He always picked me up in his Toyota Yaris but he never wore his seatbelt, it was plugged in and he sat on it.”When I had been with Kadeel his driving was erratic. He drove like the Stig, at some points I wanted to tell him to stop. It was like the world was going to stop and he wanted to get there quick.”
The 2am tragedy occurred in Horwich, Bolton, on October 12 after Newby had earlier picked up Natasha to take her out for the evening in Manchester.
Kadeel and wife Kolette married in 2011 and had two children Kashai, six, and Lauriyon, three.
But last year the pair from Mossley, Greater Manchester, began arguing with each other and last October he began a relationship with Natasha, who lives in Bolton.
Pharmacy technician Korette told the inquest:
“I still can’t believe he’s gone and don’t know how I will ever get over this. We were each other’s world, inseparable really.The last week of Kadeel’s life was in no way typical of Kadeel’s behaviour of our relationship. I don’t want anyone to judge his life based on that.”

Bread seller turned model, Olajumoke Orsaguna whose story inspired millions, needs more than N5 million to start a bakery. Encomium reports.
There are plans by Sijibomi Ogundele (of Sujimoto Construction) to bankroll a bakery for the Iree-born hairstylist who photo-bombed TY Bello’s shoot of Tinie Tempah on February 2, 2016 and became a celebrity.
Last month, Sijibomi Ogundele told ENCOMIUM Weekly:
“For the past few months we have known her, we realized that Olajumoke is a lifetime project. We want to engage her, not just giving her an apartment, what would happen if the rent expires in the next five years. Yes, she is a model but that is not enough. She is a mother of two and her husband does not have work, we pay her monthly salary but before the end of the year, we want a bakery for her. Her story came from selling bread, hopefully by the grace of God. We pray God gives us life and hope, we would create the bread of hope where she would work.
Olajumoke is like an entrepreneur, she knows how to add this to that, we are trying to maximize her potentials. No matter how small the bakery would be, we want to try to see if we can do that.”

No, not at all. The N5 million is after you must have gotten the land and building for the business. The N5 million covers the machines and the ingredients for starting the business.
Can you mention some of the machines used in bakery business and how much they cost?
We have the milling machine which is between N2 million to N3 million depending on how big the bakery is. The oven which can be classified into two major parts, that is the electric and the local oven. The local oven is the mud oven, while the electric one has different types as well.
We have the tunnel, rotary and deck electric ovens. There are other types too. Let’s just make do with these three. The tunnel oven is 20 and of course it is for very big bakery. May be the type that will serve the whole nation. The rotary oven is between N5 million to N10 million. You can also get the fairly used rotary oven for N2.5 million or N3 million.
Then the deck oven can be gotten between N1 million and N1.5 million. That is what I use here. Other machines that we use are the slicing machine which is about N300,000, the moulding machine which is N1 million, the cutting table (made of stainless steel) is the scale which can be the digital scale or the normal scale and this must not be less than 10 kg. You can get these for N15,000 or N20,000 or N50,000. So those are the machines.
It seems all the machines are quite expensive compared to perception. Is the business so lucrative?
The business used to be a very lucrative one. Before now there used to be a lot of profit in it until the price of the machines and ingredients skyrocketed.
Talking about the ingredients, how much do you buy them?
The flour is now N11,200 per bag, sugar is N20,000. Those are the most expensive. You can still buy, salt in bit because we use more of sugar than salt. At least, we use 6.5kg of sugar for one bag of flour.
Which other things do you need to put in place after all these before business can kick start?
You have to register your business name, your brand name, the bakery and you have to register with NAFDAC too since you are producing food item. They will have to check on you and make sure everything is in place.
What about the baking pan, how much do you get them?
It depends on the size. Here, we only bake two sizes which is the big size, that’s the N250. And the medium size, that size of pan is between N150 and N250. The quantity of bread you make daily determines how many you will get.

It has been revealed that the runaway bride in Ondo state who failed to show up for her wedding ceremony dated her fiance for SEVEN YEARS before they decided to walk down the aisle.
A source in the groom’s family spoke to PUNCH Metro and revealed that the bride did not show any sign that she would do such a thing, saying the incident was a shock to both families.
He explained that Taiwo and Biodun had been dating for almost seven years without any disagreement between them, adding that they both finished from the Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo.
The source said, “The incident is still a mystery to everybody because both families have been having a smooth relationship. She had never dated anybody apart from Abiodun. She is a very good girl and both families consented to their union. There was no disagreement from any party.
“She did not show any sign that she would cancel the wedding. We were all at the church, expecting her. Even her father did not believe what happened because I don’t think she told her parents of her plan to boycott the wedding.
“They did not quarrel; both of them still spoke on the telephone on the eve of the wedding day. She did not give him any sign. She has not switched on her phone; we don’t know where she is.”
Taiwo failed to show up for the church service on her wedding day, disappointing her husband to-be and many guests who attended the wedding.
Her parents and the family of the groom knew nothing about her whereabouts.
However, a resident of Christ Land area in Oka, Ondo, where the Taiwo’s parents live, on condition of anonymity disclosed that the ‘runaway’ bride had called her parents on a different telephone line, informing them of her whereabouts.
