Nigerian Footballer, John Mikel Obi’s twin daughters Mia and Ava having their meal in style onboard an aircraft – their Mum, Olga, shared the pictures and gushed about her beau being the best pooh in the world.
Zimbabwe President, Robert Gabriel Mugabe, turned 93 years old yesterday and had a birthday party organized by his staff at his Munhumutapa offices in Harare.
An unsmiling Robert Mugabe can be seen in the video below blowing out the candles on his 93rd birthday cake as a choir crooned “How old are you now Baba (father)” and “We wish you many more years”.
Mugabe’s son-in-law Simba Chikore hovered at the president’s elbow as he blew out the candles.
So the Ex- Big Brother Naija housemate, was at the Beat Fm studio today and he met with OAP Toolz – the media personality shared a video reporting Soma to her husband Capt. Tunde, for saying he wants to kill her in ways… and also kill essential body parts.
She says she finds his words shocking and appalling, she also tagged Banky W in the video who reacted. Read what she wrote and watch the video below:
‘@captdemuren My dear husband, I met Soma this morning, and what he said to me was both shocking and appalling. I felt so violated….I actually was in tears.
Please handle this as you see fit.
I will testify for you… ???

In a case that has left many people in shock, four female sperm harvesters pounced on an unsuspecting Zimbabwean teacher last Friday evening and reportedly kidnapped, drugged and “gang-raped” him.
After the attack, the teacher was left naked in a bush with bruised private parts and woke up feeling extremely weak on Saturday morning.
According to local media, the teacher was intending to travel to Bulawayo on Friday night when he was given a lift by the group of women who were travelling in a Toyota Quantum with South African number plates.
The victim said the women were speaking IsiNdebele and another language that he could not understand. They sexually abused him for hours.
The women are said to be light skinned and police in Lupane are investigating the matter.
A Nigerian man, who is tired of the nation’s epileptic power supply has installed a windmill so he can generate his own electricity.
His neighbour Deji Garuba shared the story on Instagram, writing:
My neighbor has had enough of #PHCN wahala. The guy just installed a windmill to generate power. We haven’t had #PHCN power for more than 30hrs in the last one year, the cost of running generators is neck breaking. This is what my dear country has become, electricity has become space science that the government can not easily provide or even encourage efficient private sector participation in the provision of power. God help us all!
Activist, Emeka Ugwuonye shared the photo of the domestic violence victim after some people disagreed with him for getting a man who brutally beat up his wife locked up in a police cell.
He had narrated how he had the violator arrested by a female police officer in Port Harcourt, his action caused some people to react, questioning him why he had to take such measures, saying it won’t solve the problem.
In his defense, Emeka then shared the photo of the brutally beaten lady and asked what they would do if the lady in question were to be their sister or relative.
Chukwudi Iwuchukwu shared a post on his Facebook page, questioning the Big Brother Housemate, who obviously can’t see it just yet, but we’re wondering if you agree with him…
Cause logically speaking, Tayo Faniran at that time, had his beau as his fiancee, so he could as well as decided to play dirty but he didn’t… TTT on the other hand, has a wife and two kids and we all know what’s going down.
Read Chukwudi’s post and tell us if you’re in accordance with him:
Bisola asked TTT yesterday if he is a single man and he said: “By the grace of God he is single”
You see how a married man denied his wife and 3 kids on a live TV.
If you think TTT is playing a game, Tayo Faniran was a Big Brother Africa housemate in 2013. Before he went for the show, his fiancée gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.
Tayo respected the fiancée all through the game and told all who cared to hear that he has a woman at home that just gave birth to his baby.
It did not stop Tayo from playing his game. He came second and nearly missed the star prize by whisker.
Compare him to TTT that has not mentioned his wife and kids to anybody.
Back then in the law school, I met shameless married men that denied their partners because of Law school hot babes.
One approached my friend Ifeoma with the cock and bull story that he is looking for a wife, meanwhile he has a wife at home with 2 beautiful kids at home.
No doubt about this, TTT is playing fans and the wife may approve what he is doing but his behavior mirrors what many married men do in this country, they deny that they are married because of a hot Instagram babe.
Well!
Nigerian Instagram user, @Georgeangel_ was shocked to the bones when a man she had ignored on social media, after he told her ‘I love you’, wished her death before the end of this month!

Wasiu Aliyu, a driver at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), is in trouble after he woke up at his lover’s house on Assfood street, Oriola, Alapere, Lagos and discovered that the staff bus, N23m Toyota Hiace, had been stolen.
According to Punch, Aliyu, a casual worker, was arraigned on Monday on two counts of stealing in an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court.
A neighbor of the girlfriend had alerted the father of two children, around 4am that he saw some strange faces inside the bus. As Aliyu rushed out to know what was happening, the thieves reportedly zoomed off.
The 36-year-old indigene of Ilorin, Kwara State, was said to have reported the alleged theft at the Alapere Police Station and informed a manager of Doset Civil Engineering, which owned the vehicle.
Aliyu told the police that he had been driving the bus for over three years, stating that he had no hand in the stealing.
He said:
“I was employed by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation as a casual worker sometime in 2014. At about 8pm on January 21, I went to my girlfriend’s house in Oriola to pass the night. A man came to wake me up around 4am that he saw sys inside the bus. Before I got to where the bus was, they had left with it. It was a mistake that I parked the bus on the street becaome bouse there is no security there.”
The manager, Osele Philips, in his statement, stated that a specific and safe garage was provided for the driver to park the vehicle, saying the company suspected a foul play.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has described the phenomenon of fake news as one of the greatest threat to the country.
Speaking in Abuja at the seventh edition of the National Security Seminar, the minister listed five fake news which had been in circulation recently.
According to him,
“Regrettably, fake news is circulated worldwide through the means of the social media and it travels faster.
Only recently, we have to refute the fake news that Nigeria today is the most difficult place for Christians to live (1).
There was also the fake report that the armed forces of Nigeria armed the Fulani herdsmen and instigate them to carry out attacks (2).
All these news are unfounded, fake and has the capacity to set one religion or group against the other,’’ he said.
The minister said the most recent of such disinformation was the news of the alleged killing of some members of a pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (3).
He also recalled the recent visit by two leaders of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu and Bisi Akande to President Muhammadu Buhari in London which the champions of disinformation claimed it never happened (4).
He said similarly, it took the intervention of the US government to set the record straight through a release that its President, Donald Trump truly had a telephone conversation with President Buhari (5).
Members of the House of Representatives expressed shock on Tuesday that the Presidential Committee on North-East Initiative budgeted N60m to award contracts to cut grasses in communities ravaged by Boko Haram insurgents this year.
The development is coming while the controversy generated by a similar contract worth over N200m awarded by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Babachir David-Lawal, has yet to abate.
The N60m in the 2017 budget of PCNI is to cover contracts to cut “shrubs, grasses and trees” along the Maiduguri-Mama Road alone.
Lawmakers picked out the figure when the PCNI appeared before the House Committee on Internally Displaced Persons to defend its N45bn on humanitarian assistance, rehabilitation and resettlement of displaced villagers.
The Chairman of the committee, Mr. Sani Zoro, and other members were alarmed over the allocation.
“You can’t travel this same way (awarding contracts on grasses) again; it is not acceptable.
“Why can’t you assign this duty to the military to do it for you?
“They can use their personnel to clear the grasses and you can drop this idea of awarding contracts with N60m.”
Members were also worried that most provisions in the N45bn budget were for “security” and procurement of equipment for military services as against providing shelter, food, hospitals and schools for displaced persons.
“Your duty, from what we understand, is to provide succour for the displaced persons. These people are traumatised and they need urgent basic amenities as they return home. Rehabilitation has to do with their survival as human beings first,” Zoro added.
Members said several provisions appeared questionable.
Zoro noted,
“Maybe, you must first give us the mandate of the PCNI. You have N184m for screening programme for humanitarian activities.
What does that mean?
“There is N150m on advocacy and early warning system and N165m for conflict management.
“You are going to deliver security equipment for N200m. What type of security equipment? Then another N2.5bn for security outfits.
“Are you telling us that part of your role is to fund the operations of the military in the North-East? The military have their own budget already.
“Why are you not talking about food, shelter, medical care and schools for these IDPs?
Some Nigerians were taken aback to see a rare photo of a traditional chief from Imo state, plaiting his wife’s hair.

In spite of people reminding him that he is traditional chief, Mel, was not ashamed of showing love to his wife.
Nollywood actor and actress Empress Njamah‘s brother, John Njamah took to his Facebook page to urge married women to not only tell their single friends about the good sides of marriage, but should also tell them about the conflicts and uncertainties.
He wrote on his wall:
“This is a call from my heart to all married women with single friends. Tell them the truth about MARRIAGE. Stop telling them only about the nice parts, the new car, trips outside the country, the cute kids, rich husband etc. Tell them how being a wife/mother is a full time job. Tell them about the sleepless nights, the vigils, the uncertainties, the conflicts, etc. Above all let them understand its not earned nor is it by Beauty or Brains, neither is it by how good you are in the bedroom. It is only by grace and grace alone. Tell them it is achieved only by being on your knees to God and by assuming your ROLE as a wife/mother. Tell them that real homes are built with patience and strength and not by designer clothes and bags. Husbands are not Atm machines, they are our friends and sons and God’s representatives in our homes. Enough of this flash and class about marriage. It is a UNION not a SOCIAL network platform. I rest my case. Good day people..”

Thankfully God allowed to give me another chance at life and I have to thank him for that. Never question the abilities that our Lord and savior can make happen. My scars are beautiful ❤ #burnsurvivor #firesurvivor”

This comes after comedian, Seyilaw, called out the Pastor in an Instagram post earlier.
According to him, if his career can’t explain the purpose of the show, then one needs to go back to school.
Na wa! Na real wa! He is HUGE! Like literally HUGE and I can’t even tell if he’s a basketball player… cause he doesn’t look like he’s got the “body” for it, he might have the height, but not the body.

So this business card had us wondering though… you can boldly see the “Son-in-law to his excellency” written there – could there be? Could there be really a post as the “Son-in-law of the governor?”
Actress, Matilda Obaseki, has in a series of tweets come for Big Brother Naija housemate, Thin Tall Tony, calling him “the lowest of all kinds of scum and not worthy of praise” and “if his wife is smiling, then she’s a fool!”
This comes after the BBN housemate said he was single to fellow housemate, Bisola, who he has for a while now, been sharing all sorts of sexual intimacy with.
Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has said that he would introduce a law prohibiting poor men from marrying more than one wife, saying there is a connection between polygamy, poverty and terrorism. .
The Royalty said because muslims practice polygamous marriage, most poor men end up marrying up to four wives with as many as 20 children whom they sometimes don’t train in schools hence, some of them become thugs and terrorists.
The Emir is quoted as saying:
“Those of us in the [mainly Muslim] north have all seen the economic consequences of men who are not capable of maintaining one wife, marrying four. They end up producing 20 children, not educating them, leaving them on the streets, and they end up as thugs and terrorists.”
He discussed different areas to be covered by the wide-ranging family law, which he said would be passed by the Kano state government.
“The law will address what Islam says on marriage, it will outlaw forced marriages, it will make domestic violence illegal, it will put in conditions that you need to fulfil before you can marry a second wife, it will spell out the responsibilities of a father beyond producing a child.
It is a big law which covers a whole range of issues from consent to marriage, to maintenance to divorce, to maintenance of children and inheritance. It will be the first time in northern Nigeria that a Muslim law on personal status will be codified,” he said

The four passengers were a group of American golfers playing their way around the world on the trip of a lifetime, news.com.au reports.

Comedian Seyi Law, isn’t quite pleased with the man of God as he took to his Instagram to call him out. He wrote:
“What a joke of a Pastor. Did Jesus lay curses on those who turned His Father’s house to a market place of all sorts or He just rebuked them. Some of all these people who call themselves Pastors actually think they are God o. Oga Ade, go and have a rethink abeg and ask God for forgiveness. I am not in support of the immoral acts in Big Brother Naija, but as a Christian when the devil brings darkness, you shine your light. If you don’t like what they protray, change your channel.

Facebook user, Daniel Chukwuemeka, has shared the sweetest story you could hear all day – he narrated how his neighbour gave birth in his car on the 18th of February by 12:58.
He shared photos of the new baby and his cars stained of blood and wrote:
“Last night, my neighbour gave birth to a baby girl, IN MY CAR.
Actually, it happened this morning. 12:58 am. I have never witnessed a thing like that before. I only saw such in Nollywood movies.
I was not fast asleep. But I was hearing the first set of gentle knocks on my door in my dreams. Kpam Kpam Kpam Kpam, Daniel o…repeatedly. Later I would deem whoever was knocking that way as unserious. How could such knocks wake me up? But I have just slept off an hour before then. So I was woken up immediately the knock got louder. I rushed out, hearing the cries for help. She was already in labour—my neighbour. My God! I saw the baby’s head pushing itself out of my neighbour’s privates. She was fast losing blood, as they kept flowing uncontrollably. As if that was not enough a strange sight for me, I saw that white, long thing they call umbilical cord. Damn it! That was actually when the baby had completely come out. Chai. Poor child. Crying. We didn’t know what to do. I was clueless. Her friend—a young lady—was clueless too. There was no other neighbour available. And it was already 01:05 am. But that my neighbour, ba? She was a strong woman. She kept reassuring her panic-stricken friend to stop shouting, re affirming that she’d be fine. She was even the one that suggested we go to a nearby hospital. Olodo like me, I couldn’t even think of any meaningful thing to do. My head was full. But she was strong. We carried her down to my car, carrying the baby alongside, careful not to draw the umbilical cord too apart from her. Chai. Blood. She lost a lot of blood. I gently drove us to a nearby hospital. The staff responded quickly. The cord was cut while she was still in the car. The baby survived. The mother survived too. I went back home later and got them some clothes, and tea, milk, bread and hot water for the mother.
This is what I call miracle. Not turning water into wine. In this part of the world, we say “Thank God” for even things we can do ourselves. So for the first time in my life, I’ll do this, because I am overwhelmed:
Thank God for my neighbour’s strong resolve in the face of hysteria;
Thank God for the mechanic guy that didn’t tell me stories yesterday, but promptly worked on the car’s fan belt, making the car available;
Thank God for the staff of Divine Mercy Hospital and Maternity, Orba road, Nsukka, especially the gate man, for their immediate response to our call for help;
And finally, thank God for giving us humans all that we need to survive the pestilence and pains He also created on earth, for surely He created all things. Amen!
I learnt a few things:
1. A pregnant woman shouldn’t be left alone. I used to say I’d run out of home when my wife gets heavy, to avoid a pregnant woman’s wahala. Dear future wife, I have changed my mind. I now understand what you women go through. I’ll be there, through it all. No business trips. No conferences or seminar. In fact no work for me. I’ll be there. We will do it together. After all, we had sex together (whatever that means).
2. I think one should always have fuel in one’s car. Anything can happen any time. And no petrol station might be available at that time.
3. Do not overlook the importance of neighbourliness. And if your neighbour is one who hardly responds to knocks on his/her door (like my former useless neighbour), declare such a neighbour as useless to humanity.
Finally, women, please accept the assurances of my ernest respect for your natural abilities. Truly, there’s more to your privates than just sexual activity.
PS: the head nurse said I’d make a good father, because of the way I was in charge. Is that true? I mean, why not? :D”
