It has now been confirmed that missing ladies, Veronica Otogo, Bisola Mohammed, and gentleman, Damilola Oribuyaku were abducted. And their abductors are demanding $300,000 – N150million ransom.
A relation shared this on Facebook yesterday:
Join Our Prayers for the Safety of Damilola
Engr. Oribuyaku is a family friend. His son, Damilola who just returned from schooling abroad went to have ice-cream at Coldstone, Wuse II Abuja on Friday with two of his female friends. As they were about to get into their cars, a jeep blocked them. The rest was like like a horror film. They were taken and driven off. The abductors are demanding for $300,000.
Engr. Oribuyaku is a hardworking man who has built his businesses with clean money.
He doesn’t have that kind of money.
Please, join us in praying for the safety of these young people in the hands of these criminals. May God let us find them alive and in one piece.
N.B: One of our brothers was hit on the head with the butt of a gun in front of this same ice-cream parlour at Gwarimpa last year. Criminals now target places frequently visited by the middle class. Let us be security conscious as Nigeria is going throug a very hard period. May God save us all from evil, ameen.
Nollywood actress Stella Damasus in a live video on Instagram, revealed her to fans that despite the fact that she is quite far from home to join the Mass Protest rescheduled for Feb 6th, she won’t encourage it.
The actress says the time spent protesting can be used in doing other productive things that can better the life of others. She went on to say that people who want to protest should get their information right before embarking on the protest.
Harrysong’s former management boss, Kevin Luciano and Kcee alongside Daddy Showkey and some lawyers had a closed door meeting with Chairman of Five star music, E-money, his brother and singer Kcee and others at E-Money’s home in Omole Estate earlier today.
They were there to finalize the release of Harrysong and his manager, Desmond Ike from police custody.
LIB‘s correspondent who was at the police station where the singer is being held, caught up with Kcee who said Harrysong has promised to hold a press conference where he would apologize to Five star music.
“Harrysong has told me, he’s going to call for a press conference to apologise publicly. My mom is crying, she’s been calling me, telling me to free Harrysong. But the only thing that annoyed me was the last statement he made, it’s not nice on me. It’s not good on me that I invested all my money and time on him”.
A trailer for a Nollywood movie titled ‘Daudu’ was released online on the 27th of January, and it made quite the buzz after it’s emergence.
It became a buzz feed apparently because of the role played by popular versatile actor, Odunlade Adekola. In the soon to be released movie, he plays the role of a young, unmarried gay man whose Nigerian parents are not in any way pleased with his sexuality.
While some Nigerians laughed at the character he plays, others criticized the supposed promotion of homosexuality.
LIB reached out to the actor for better clarification and he made it clear that the movie was just a make believe, with a certain message to be passed.
When asked how he felt playing the role of a feminine gay man, Odunlade said:
“I am not the one that produced the movie but it was directed by me. As a matter of fact, I played the lead role.. As a director, If you get any script, you just have to study/digest the script, understand what the demands are and know where to contribute. That is what I did.”
Asked about his response to those criticizing his role after watching just the trailer, Odunlade said:
“I haven’t really seen the criticisms from people and you know a movie is make believe. It is also done to correct a lot of impressions and make people understand more about certain topics. I haven’t seen anyone criticize me or any of my jobs (roles). Critics should take time to watch the movie, study it very well and understand what we are trying to say in the movie. We are preaching that what happened in the movie that made the lead actor (Odunlade Adekola) to be a gay man is not good. That’s the real message.”
“I love Nigerians and all who have supported the industry. I am not against anybody or trying to tackle or fight anyone,” Odunlade said.

There certainly is drama at the moment as supporting group of President Buhari’s administration, I Stand With Buhari, have fixed their date for their rally as the same date as that of 2Baba’s massive Nigeria First protest.
Though that of 2Baba is according to the organizers, going to be carried out both online and offline, we can’t say for sure how that of the rally group’s will be there as they’re yet to disburse details of the forthcoming event.
The only predicament there ever could be is if the “physical” rally and the protest will be around the same location! Then there, speculatively, could be a result of violence erupting cause some Nigerians have no chill!
We can only but fold our hands to see the outcome of this whole saga, which just might make history… we’ll never know!
A Zimbabwean pastor’s wife, who has gone seven years without sex, couldn’t withhold her emotions when she appeared before a court and accused her husband Petros Tshuma, a pastor with Zion Grace International, of starving her since 2010.
Instead, she says he sleeps with other women from his congregation.
“Your worship, I’m sexually abused by this man as he last had sex with me in 2010. If I ask him about the issue he would promise to make up for it but when it’s time for sex he simulates sickness then claims to be feeling pain in his stomach,” she said.
Mary Ngwenya added that her husband would also claim his testicles were swollen but had other partners to sleep with as she literally pleaded for sex in front of the magistrate.
“What I know is that he enjoys sex with three ladies from our church. I have WhasApp text messages to prove that.
I’m a human being. I don’t survive on Bible verses and I need my husband to sleep with me. Now I lead a pretentious life telling the women I lead that I’m enjoying my marriage while I’m sex starved,” she said in between sobs.
However, Tshuma admitted the blame.
“I love my wife but I have a problem, when I engage in sex my stomach starts to twinge as a result I feel an intense pain and due to
that I had to stop. It’s not true that I’m in love with other women. My wife saw text messages from the women who wanted counselling on their marriages, due to that she quickly concluded that I’m in love with them,” he said.
The judge Masuku ordered Tshuma to have sex with his wife and not to emotionally abuse her.
The male barbie doll certainly wasn’t proud of his looks so he cooked it up and you can see the result – some online photos actually show that he burnt it while cooking though, but hey… it is what it is!
A 30-year-old woman, Oluchukwu Ezemaduka, is currently battling with a damaged jaw at a private hospital, West Care Specialist Hospital in Akowonjo, Lagos, after she was allegedly battered by a riot policeman, Idiahgbe Iyobosa.
Iyobosa, who is attached to a bank in the FESTAC Town, was said to have repeatedly hit the woman in the jaw with his service boots until blood gushed out.
Oluchukwu is the friend and roommate of Iyobosa’s girlfriend, Maryjane Anyagwa. The friends live on Awoyemi Street, off Coker Road, Ejigbo.
PUNCH Metro reports that Iyobosa had visited his girlfriend in Ejigbo on Saturday, January 21, at about 9pm, with a view to passing the night at her place, but met only Oluchukwu at home.
He was said to have got enraged and resorted to the assault as the victim told him that she didn’t know Anyagwa’s whereabouts.
Oluchukwu, who managed to speak to Punch from her sick bed, said the policeman ransacked the apartment, looking for his girlfriend.
“I was not in the room when he came. As I was about to enter the room, I felt that somebody was there; I got a torch from a neighbour and shone it in the room. That was when I knew it was him. He had scattered everywhere.
“He asked me where his girlfriend was, I didn’t answer him. He asked me the second time and I told him that I didn’t know her whereabouts. He kicked me several times with his boots, breaking my jaw. He brought out a dagger and chased me outside. It was people, who saved me.
“The pain is too much for me. The doctor said I would undergo surgeries this week.”
Her friend, Anyagwa, stated that her relationship with Iyobosa was marred with threats and harassment, saying she was no longer interested in the relationship. She said,
“I was not around that day. When I came back the next morning, my neighbours told me that my boyfriend came to beat up my friend because he was looking for me. He thought she deliberately refused to disclose where I was.
“He usually assault me too. Most times, he would not notify me that he would pass the night in my place. He would threaten to deal with me if I report him to the authorities or quit the relationship. I was afraid.
“We started dating each other about a year ago. I later knew that he is married with two kids. The wife had warned me to stay away from her husband.”
An eyewitness and neighbour, Henry Okafor, said Iyobosa also attacked him that day when he cautioned him.
“He just came from nowhere and started beating the lady. He also attacked me. I didn’t fight him because he was in uniform,” he added.
Oluchukwu’s father, Mike Ezemaduka, who is based in Abuja, said he was shocked on seeing the condition of his daughter at the hospital
He said,
“It was a serious injury and she will undergo two surgeries, according to her doctor. The doctor said she needed to recuperate a little bit before he could carry out the surgeries. The lower jaw was broken. We were told that she would no longer be able to chew if she didn’t undergo the surgeries, which will cost about N700,000. The policeman’s relatives have promised to pay the bill.
“My daughter is not his girlfriend; she has nothing to do with him at all. Why should he beat someone, whose room he barged into?”
It was gathered that the case was reported at the Ejigbo Police Station and Iyobosa was arrested.
The acting Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Olarinde Famous-Cole, in a text message, said, “The incident was reported at the division for discreet investigation.”

The rapper wrote alongside the video:
“Apparently before I got back from my gig over the weekend my cleaner took off with some of my properties including cash of a million plus. Area boys who where aware caught him and was beating him before I intervened and handed him over to Police after he agreed to take us to his accomplice to recover the money and other valuables. Sad shiii people do to those tryna help them.”
Since the idea of a nationwide march was first mentioned, the need for urgent solutions to the challenges facing Nigerians has become very clear. The people have hoped for a better Nigeria since 1999 but things are not getting any better for the majority.
We are still where we are – poor and desperate. I will be no longer be quiet.
I want to thank EiE, The 2face Foundation, numerous colleagues and countless fellow Nigerians for stepping up to partner with me. I am just a musician with a point of view and the ear of my fans.
I have dedicated my time and resources to peace building, voter education towards peaceful elections and youth engagement in governance in Nigeria. This time around, my partners, colleagues and I have come together to present a platform for real Nigerians to communicate their real pains to government at all levels in a peaceful and articulate manner with a view to getting lasting solutions to our problems.
This march is about demanding that all saboteurs of good government policies should hands off.
This march is about encouraging positive minded Nigerians to continue to work without intimidation.
We have a system that is clearly designed not to work for the majority.
What is this march not about?
It is not a platform for politicians of any party to manipulate. I know you will still spin it but for one second leave your battles aside and just listen to people without trying to score cheap political points against one another. It is not a point scoring exercise. It is certainly not personal.
It is not an organized labour platform. With all due respect to our comrades who have done much for Nigeria, this march is for the unrepresented.
It is not a ‘my religion or tribe is better than yours’ matter. All our blood is red.
I, Innocent Idibia, am a living example of a Nigerian who owes their success to Nigerians of every tribe and religion. None ask what religion or tribe I am before supporting me. I am grateful.
Therefore, it is with every sense of humility that I say that with this march, I want:
1) Security
All Nigerians’ lives MUST matter. My religion, ethnicity or what part of the country I live shouldn’t determine the type of protection I get from my government.
According to the Constitution, ‘the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government.’
2) Education
To develop beyond oil, we have to invest in our human capital. Every child must have access to quality education. If our teachers are not paid, how will we raise the next generation to lead the country and run our businesses?
3) Health
Health is wealth. People die daily from lack of basic, affordable health care. We can definitely do better.
4) Power
Government needs to make it easier to generate power at the state and local government level so everything is not tied to the center. We need electricity to be productive. The cost of generating our own power is crippling.
5) Unemployment
Poor education plus a struggling economy means a lot of people are unemployed. Unemployed people are hungry and angry.
6) High cost of living
Food, transportation, medicine, everything is 3 times, 4 times more expensive but our salaries haven’t increased. What do we do???
7) Social Justice
According to the Constitution, ‘The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a State based on the principles of democracy and social justice.’
There cannot be one set of rules for the poor and another set for the rich.
8) Transparency
The best way to kill corruption is to increase transparency. Government finances and contracts must be open and available to all. Who got the money, to do what and by when?
9) Cost of government
Our governance is TOO expensive – federal, state, local – cars, housing, allowances. We must reduce the cost of maintaining our public officials
10) Patriotism
I stand with Nigeria. There is enough in Nigeria for all of us to ‘chop belleful’. Enough is enough. We must put Nigeria first and keep all the greedy & selfish people away from leadership.
Call to Action
Between now and Monday, February 6, I ask you to share via videos, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, SMS to 0902-355-5335. How are these issues affecting you? What are your daily struggles? How is it doing you? No matter what part of the world you are, I encourage you to share your stories. And join me on Monday in Surulere or online
Use any of the hashtags #IStandWith2Baba #IStandWithNigeria #OneVoiceNigeria on social media.
We will take all the reports and send them to our elected representatives as ONE VOICE of Nigerians across party, ethnic and religious lines – as they hear real people talk about real issues.
On Monday, February 6, meet me at the National Stadium at 8AM and we’ll walk to the National Theatre – 2 national icons that epitomize our decline – as we state clearly and peacefully that #IStandWithNigeria and Nigeria must work for all of us and all of us must work for Nigeria.
Following the reports that the planned massive nationwide protest led by 2Baba is majorly backed by a top dignitary in the country, the special assistant to the politician on media has released a statement washing his hands off being a part of or particularly the backbone of the proposed protest.
The statement reads:
The attention of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio has been drawn to a story circulating in the internet, alleging that the former Governor of Akwa Ibom State is the sponsor of the proposed nationwide protest to be led by 2 Face Idibia, to demand answers from the government over different issues in the country.
It is laughable that the only link between the music star, 2 Face and Senator Akpabio which the authors of the mischievous story belabour to establish is that “in 2013, 2Face and his wife, Annie Macaulay were gifted (sic) two brand new Prado SUVs by this former governor as their wedding gift which they amiably (sic) accepted.”
For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to state categorically that Senator Akpabio knows nothing about the planned protest neither is he the sponsor. In fact, Senator Akpabio has had no contact whatsoever with 2Face for many years.
According to the information being circulated the organizers of the planned protest have stated clearly that their protest is: “a call for nationwide protests as we say no to the Executive, no to legislatures, no to judiciary.”
Is it not idiotic and senseless for anyone to imagine that Senator Akpabio will sponsor a protest against the same arm of government that he is serving as a leader.
As the Minority Leader, Senator Akpabio has consistently maintained that Nigerians should put aside their differences and support every effort that will pull the country out of the present recession. Much as he believes in the right of every Nigerian to express himself, he does not think that mass protest is the solution.
The mischievous attempt to drag the name of Senator Akpabio into the planned protest should be discountenanced as the handiwork of political jobbers.

A Twitter user with the handle, @ShoesandKush has caused an outrage online after he shared explicit photos of a fellow man he professedly drugged and raped.
According to the rapist, his victim, a straight man, called him a faggot. So to retaliate, he laced some blunts he and the guy smoked.
When his victim was clearly knocked out, ShoesandKush gave him a BJ, nutted on his face and humiliated him by sharing photos of him with his cum covered face covered on Twitter, bragging about it.
Twitter users are so outraged right now everyone is reporting him to Twitter to get his account suspended. Users are also reporting him to FBI, security agencies to get him arrested.
The music mogul made a live video to show he is not going to retreat from the planned February 6, 2017 nationwide protest – backing up his mission among other celebrities is actress, Mercy Aigbe, who reposted the video to show her alliance.
She wrote:
“#istandwithNigeria #istandwith2baba #OnevoiceNigeria
I stand with you on this on Bro!……..How long do we have to suffer, before we see the CHANGE we were promised?????
I thought the ‘CHANGE’ we were promised was to make our lives better?

The presidency has reacted to the February 6th planned Nationwide protest which is to be pioneered by singer, 2Baba and several Nigerians who have come out to support.
Speaking in an interview with Lagos Talk 91.3FM, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said those who are calling for the protest are people who supported the last government and are still pained that they lost the last election.
He is quoted as saying:
“This is a country of about 180 million people. It is impossible for 180 million people to think the same way. Yoruba has a saying that is you all sleep and put your head in the same direction, then you are all foolish because you would be breathing in one another’s mouth and lungs. Dont forget the last election and how it went. Somebody scored 12.5 million votes, another scored about 15 million votes. There are some people who are still in that election mode. They have not gotten out of it and till today, they are still living and “rheumatisizing” about the past. What they don’t know is that that past is gone and gone forever. Majority of those calling for the protest are still in election mode. Majority of them are people that have resolved not to see anything good in this administration simply because the man they wanted lost at the polls” he said.
The date which was scheduled for the 5th of February has has now been moved to the day after it, February 6th, 2017.
The cause for the change of date is because PMB who is currently on a 10 day medical vacation in the UK is expected back to the country on Monday February 6th.
Seriously?! Whether the kids are his or not, why should he put those four poor pupils at risk over his ignorance of road safety?! It’s dangerous enough that he’s carrying a whooping five people (including him) on one motorbike and adding salt to injury, he makes a call on one hand and controls the machine on the other.
He was spotted at Eleyeile express Road Ibadan… My thought just goes to the kids… smh ???
Lol… can anyone guess why the gentleman is so security cautious of his property even when it’s in his current possession?! Lol… I guess he’s not taking any chances… that bag just might be his life!
The person who shared the photos said he’s a first year student of the school… Another photo below:
Organizers of the proposed National protest which is aimed at forcing the government to either perform or relinquish power have given more details of the protest.

Nigerian people are extremely fed up with the leadership style of President Buhari who the people had taught to be the messiah, however their hopes were dashed when he became President, the nation has continued to suffer a huge economic downturn which hurts the people so much, poverty has taken a sharp occupation and spiral effect in the lives of most Nigerians, recession, ethnic division, religious persecutions, terrorism, corruption and everything Buhari campaigned against has taken a double portion in his government”.
“These are the reasons the people wants to take to the streets in Nigeria to say Enough is Enough to the clueless and wicked government to pave way for a better leadership that can take the country out of the wood”
The protest reportedly will take place both online and offline simultaneously.

Uyo based Danish humanitarian, Anja Ringgren Lovén became an internet sensation last year after she rescued, rehabilitated and adopted Hope, a small boy abandoned by his family in Akwa Ibom State, who they dubbed as being a ‘witch’.
A year after, she shared a before and after photo with Hope as he set out for school. OAP Freeze used the photo to call out RCCG.
He wrote:
“Redeemed was busy setting up churches on every street, yet they missed this boy….. I bet with you, that there was a Redeemed church within walking distance from this starving child, branded a witch by the same doltish belief system that extorts your first salary every January, having you willingly give your hard earned money in a recession, to a church where the G.O has a private jet and leads a life of sheer opulence!

The Nigerian Pentecostal church brands people wearing tattoos as bad and ‘unchristian’ whereas this woman with all her tattoos is more Christ like than all your ‘Daddy GOs’ can ever be. What she is doing is all Jesus requires of us, Jesus NEVER COLLECTED TITHE or first fruit and his disciples didn’t collect it either!
As a matter of fact, no Christian church collected tithe for 600 years after Christ died and resurrected.

History claims that Mungo Park discovered the Niger and we wonder “what were the Nigerians living around the Niger doing, that it had to take a foreigner to discover a river we were bathing in and washing from?” My answer was simple “The same thing we were doing when hope was found” ~FRZ

P.S. Anyone that demands your entire January salary from you, in this recession, is a thief! Anyone who gives it is a fool!
