New reports online claims that the couple who are expecting their first child are just patient so as to cash in a whopping $2million for their reality show.
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are sleeping in separate house and faking their loving relationship for TV cameras, it has been claimed.
The couple, who are expecting their first child, put on an affectionate display this weekend as they celebrated their imminent arrival at a baby shower.
According to UsWeekly, they are still living in separate houses in California after Blac, 28, kicked Rob out after suspecting him of texting other women.
InTouch Weekly also claims sock entrepreneur Rob is ‘faking’ his relationship with the model to scoop his $2million pay cheque for their reality show.
Rob & Chyna documents their volatile relationship and Blac was seen kicking Rob, 29, out of their home after an explosive row last month.
UsWeekly claims the separate living arrangements have now became permanent, with sources claiming: “They think it’s a healthier way to live.”
Rob was seen telling the cameras: “There’s lots of things that I need to work on for myself, so I feel it’s best if we give each other some space so I can work on me”
But In Touch claims their whole relationship is a charade, saying Rob now “completely regrets” his “staged” relationship with the former stripper, who has a son with Tyga.
“The lie has gotten so out of control, there’s no turning back,” a source reportedly told the magazine.
Meanwhile, reports claim E! have not ordered a second season of the show because of tension between the pair. However, TV executives are said to be impressed with Chyna and would consider giving her a solo show if Rob doesn’t commit.
An insider previously said: “Filming the show has been a lot of stress on their relationship. Add to that Chyna’s pregnancy and the fact that Rob and his moods go so up and down. But Rob really loves Chyna.”

This is the heartwarming love story of Micky and Faith who met via an online dating website and have gotten married, thanks to true love – Micky, a British man said that while others thought it was all a scam because obviously and with all sincerity, Nigerians have a very negative reputation when it comes to online dating.
Micky shares their inspiring love story;
‘Love knows no colour or distance, our relationship proved that as my beautiful wife Faith is from Nigeria and I’m from England, we met online and the distances seemed impossible and we had people on both sides telling us is isn’t real, it’s a scam, and if it isn’t, that we are too different for it to work out. And we will only end up giving up and much more. But our love for each other grew so did our strength.
To the point that we were willing to do anything to be together, as my loving wife proved by waiting a whole year for me to travel to meet her. As much as it was so difficult for her because she got mucked couple of times, but I am so glad she got support of her family that helped her through it. So we ignored everyone and I traveled to her. We are now married and we are about to start our beautiful mixed family. True love conquers all and will always prevail’.
The beautiful once upon a time child star who thrilled Nigerians with her soul lifting gospel songs many years ago, shares these lovely photos of her boyfriend…
The photos emerged online after a recent interview she had, where she spoke about her ideal man and when she might get married. (Read here)

The lady was contacted by a phone delivery shop who asked her what colour of the phone she wants and how to get the phone to her… then thus goes their conversation below.
The lady, obviously concerned about the price of the phone and what the money can do for her said the seller should send the money back to her beau… She proves she really is a business woman though…
The three naughty women alleged to have raped a man in Hluhluwe, south Africa have reported to be released on bail on Tuesday.
National Prosecuting Authority regional spokeswoman, Natasha Ramkisson-Kara, said the women received bail of R1 000 (N23,000) each.
The matter, heard in the Hluhluwe Magistrate’s Court, was postponed until October 25 for further investigation. The three were arrested after a video of the man, who was allegedly sexually assaulted by the women, went viral on social media.
The man said what happened had left him very angry and he would not be able to forgive the women. He said he had known the women growing up.
He alleged that one of them had called him over to fix an electrical fault. When he arrived at the home he saw another woman in the room but paid no attention to her.
Another woman appeared from behind the door and they allegedly attacked and filmed the incident. The women were arrested the same day, iol.co.za reports.

She said in the video:
hey guys, how are we all doing? … about my topic the other day… do whatever that makes you happy but the thing is… do not be caged, by past experiences, give the future another chance, yes! masturbation… it makes you… not to be interested in any woman, not to be interested in any man, you know, nobody interests you more because when it’s full, you just go and get it off, that’s it… you getting down with any man you see or any woman you see… That! is wrong too, but the thing is… it’s really a hard question, it’s really a hard topic, it’s a tough one… for me!… ehen.. Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Abia state yesterday rescued an abandoned baby girl. The infant was dropped by the mother with a letter that the baby should not be sold but handed over to motherless babies’ home or any well-meaning Nigerian who can cater for her welfare.
Reacting to the development, the Abia State NSCDC Commandant, Walter Chika revealed that the abandoned child was rescued by the Anti-Traffic Unit of the agency near a health centre in Avodim village in Umuahia South Local Government Area of the state.
The NSCDC Commandant urged young women to ensure that they were ready for child care before having sex. He stated that abandoning children under the disguise of inability to care for them was a criminal act and against the right of the Nigerian child.
Mr Chika also called on the mother to show sympathy for the child who needed her love. He disclosed that discussion was ongoing with designated ministry to take responsibility for the child.
So a group of men who are specialized in buying stolen goods have been caught in Okpanam Asaba, Delta State – they ran out of Luck after they robbed a Redeemed Christian Church of God and also a building site of its building materials.
The source, Ossai Ovie Success, who shared the news wrote:
“Broad Day Thieves Meet Waterloo In Okpanam Asaba, Delta State. These alleged thieves are Hausa, except one, an Igbo, specialised in buying stolen goods. They had been engaged in this, but unfortunately, luck ran out of them after committing sacrilege in the house of God. They had burgled the house of God – The Redeemed Christian Church of God, a branch of it behind the Anglican Church, just by Cornerstone Schools; and carted away musical instruments and industrial fans. But as if that was not enough, they decided to rob a building site of its building materials; and then luck ran out of them.
They were caught and beaten blue and black before being handed over to the Okpanam Divisional Police Headquarters for the law to take its cause.”
Nollywood actor and producer, Yomi Fabiyi has called on all senior colleagues in the Nigerian movie industry to reach out to veteran actor Baba Suwe before it is too late.
Fabiyi made the call in a message he posted on his Instagram page Wednesday morning, begging his Nollywood colleagues to come to the aid of Baba Suwe before he is sent to an early grave.
According to the actor, presently, Baba Suwe can hardly walk properly due to the torture meted out to him by the NDLEA when he was arrested and detained by the agency years ago for allegedly concealing drugs in his stomach.
“I just hope the leadership see this as a clarion call for getting it right and save the agency from sending an innocent person to an early grave whereby leaving his children to suffer unjustly,” the actor concluded.
Below is the full message as shared on social media platforms by Fabiyi and other Nollywood stars this morning:
“ON BABA SUWE: I am calling on all SENIOR COLLEAGUES in the entertainment world especially those close to Baba Suwe cos I don’t have everyone’s contact to please reachout to him asap. The torture done on him by NDLEA is vastly damaging his health at an alarming rate. He told me he no longer feel comfortable since that episode. Baba Suwe is a widower, he can hardly walk properly as I speak, let alone go to film. How will he feed and take care of the children aunty Moladun left behind?
This is an A-List Entertainer and this conspiracy of silence gives me MENTAL AGONY on my part, I don’t want to speak when it may be too late, I won’t forgive myself.
He told me when I visited him that he is innocent of the accusations and yet a LONG PIPE was inserted through his anus, he was detained for too long amongst other things just because he was randomly suspected like every normal person.
In my opinion, only lazy, ill-trained, unfit and uncivilised officers torture in the name of investigation. Torture is criminal and sinful. If this accusation is found to be true by independent investigators, it shouldn’t go unpunished.
The court asked NDLEA to pay him 25million for damages which is yet to be obeyed but to me an OPEN APOLOGY will placate him and illustrate some dignified and civil approach from a government agency that made him go through all that without coming up with a single proof after that prolonged detention and drama. He who assert MUST prove!
NDLEA needs to restore public confidence by doing the needful on this matter. And until individuals and government agency begin to respect fundamental HUMAN RIGHT and enhance duty of care, the essence of Nigeria’s FREEDOM is far from been realistic.
No malice is intended against NDLEA with this outcry, I just hope the leadership see this as a clarion call for getting it right and save the agency from sending an innocent person to an early grave whereby leaving his children to suffer unjustly. My humble take. Thank you. Yomi Fabiy.”

A 28-year-old female National Youth Service Corps member, Loretta Okoro, who is serving her fatherland in Bayelsa State, has cried out for help over pains caused by bites she sustained from her employer, Prof. Klem Imananah’s dogs.
Punch reports that the corps member was attacked and bitten by three security dogs who reportedly pounced on her about 7:00pm in her employer’s house on December 5, 2015, where she was posted for her primary assignment at Opolo in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa state.
In an exclusive chat with a correspondent on Tuesday, the NYSC member lamented that her employer and the state chapter of the NYSC had abandoned her to her fate, and alleged that since the incident occurred, she had not gone through proper medical treatment and that her health had deteriorated.
Okoro, a member of Stream A, with NYSC number NUA/2015/162926, said though the wounds had healed on the surface, she later started suffering from hallucination, numbness, mental torture and psychological imbalance, and accused her employer of neglect.
“On December 5, 2015, I was attacked by three dogs owned by Prof. Imananah who I was attached to. The first hospital I was taken to had no doctor to attend to me.
“I called a friend of mine who came to take me to the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa. The injuries were cleaned every day and I was given injections. I spent three weeks at the hospital and later went home.
“The following day after being discharged, I started feeling some strange ailment. I have been trying to be stable since then. I can no longer sleep. I see strange and horrible things in my dreams. I have been reaching out to the NYSC to know if they can be of help, but nothing has happened till now. They claimed I am only pretending.
“Even the owner of the dogs has been threatening me with court action, saying that I am embarrassing him. I have not been able to do anything. Things have gone beyond my imagination. I have yet to get back to normal,” she said.
Okoro, an indigene of Imo State, appealed to the federal and state governments to wade into the matter, adding that the NYSC in the state had not given her matter the attention it deserved, adding that since the incident occurred, no one from the NYSC had called to know her condition.
Another NYSC member who is a colleague to Okoro, said the victim’s health had worsened, adding that she needed urgent medical attention.
“It was unpleasant on Monday evening. She was hallucinating and screaming throughout the night. I knew her from the camp. But now, everything about her health has changed. NYSC is supposed to protect corps members. But with what I have seen in the case of Lorreta Okoro, we are just on our own. If something urgent is not done, Lorreta may lose her life,” Kingsley said.
Sony music star, Davido in a recent interview has asked people and fans to stop putting him under pressure to release an album since he isn’t the only Nigerian act that has failed to drop an album this year as promised.
Davido expressed his frustration in pidgin after the reporter asked him his first question which was about his album, the O.B.O star said;
“Why are people saying it’s taken forever, infact, shey na only me never drop? Abeg, make them free me.”
During the brief chat at Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX, in Lekki, Lagos, the 23 year old African superstar revealed that his album has been slated for next year and it will feature his collaborations with Usher, Future, Young Thug. While his Son of Mercy EP which will be dropping soon will feature his collaboration with Tinashe. In his words;
“All of my international collaborations Usher, Future, Popcaan, Young Thug, and more are on the album. Everything is on the album. Think about it, the end of the year is here. Why release all my missiles now, and the next year everybody turns over a new leaf?
“So I’m coming, doing my African thing for now, giving them the Tinashe record, so let them feel that for now, next year, just come through. That’s why I had to do this EP. I can’t do what they are doing better than them, and they can’t do what I am doing better than me. So I just have to do this EP, and just drop it down.”
Speaking on how his Sony Music deal is affecting his career, the Ekuro star said that he only has creative control over his songs and that the company makes the final decision on what to release.
He also stated that the company has been financing his projects so he had to understand when they told him to push the release date of his songs.
“I was hyped that they (Sony) came to me.”
“I have creative control, it’s a joint thing. Most times, whatever I send them, they are ready to go,”
“When they told me that this is going to happen, it’s a sacrifice that I had to make. I did so much in four years, I did a lot, every award, I have it.”
“You will see, I can’t explain, you gotta see the work. At least I don’t have to pay for my videos again. I’m always thinking: ‘spending $250,000 on one video, that’s what I’ll never do. That’ll just take it to another level.” “Killing them crazy though, everything big budget”
Davido revealed that his relocation to the US felt like he was starting all over again as an unknown artiste but despite the glitz and glamour he has enjoyed ever since the trip, he will never trade anywhere for Africa;
“I was cool, I was travelling, I doing things, I was recording, I was living life, I was in America. It kind of was very fast for me, because I was moving so much, I was just setting up plays. I was setting up plays for the future.”
“It’s like I’m starting again. That’s how it feels, that’s what they keep telling me. They say: ‘Yo David, we understand that you have this and that, and you are big. But you gotta start again.’ When they are interviewing me, they aren’t saying ‘Yo Davido’, they are asking ‘What’s your name? Explain Afrobeats to me?’. So it’s like starting again, but it’s cool, I’m just 23 years.
“For me it’s just to keep going, help other people, drop the album, destroy. I love this my African thing. I love it. I will never leave Africa for nowhere. Ever!”
We brought y’all the viral news, few weeks ago of a Nigerian man who proposed to his white girlfriend on the summit of Olumo Rock in Abeokuta, Ogun State. (See here)
The couple who stated they weren’t expecting such viral media attention, were interviewed by BYU-Idaho Scroll, student news source of Brigham Young University, Idaho, U.S. where they both are studying.
When Shila Tietjen, a sophomore studying Spanish education decided to visit Nigeria, a proposal was the least she expected.
Shila said she and her boyfriend, Olu Egunjobi, also a sophomore studying accounting, began dating in February after they drove to a party together.
Egunjobi stated that the way they met was a long story and that it was not planned at all. After dating for a period of time, Egunjobi said he wanted to take her to his hometown in Nigeria.
While in Nigeria, on Sept. 13, 2016, on Tietjen’s birthday, Egunjobi said he surprised her by asking her on Olumo Rock to marry him after they had toured the Kings Palace and the first church in Nigeria.
“I was totally surprised,” Tietjen said. “I had no idea it would happen that day. Before we left, I thought he would propose to me on my birthday because he likes to do exciting and big things, but then while we were there, I totally forgot. I even forgot it was my birthday when I woke up.”
Tietjen said she was really excited to go to Nigeria to meet his family and that they showed so much love for her.
“They treated me like a princess,” she said. Tietjen said they did not expect the media attention that they received from the African news and that it caught them both by surprise.
“I bet there was someone there who took pictures of us thinking it was cool and put it out there, and a lot of newspapers and websites took it,” Egunjobi said. “They didn’t even know our names. We weren’t expecting it, I was just there in the living room and I started receiving calls. We went viral in two days.”
Egunjobi said their relationship had not always been easy.
“We both had opposition from family and friends about marrying into a different race and culture,” Tietjen said, “Luckily, though, our immediate families are both really cool with it.”
Egunjobi said his family has not always been members of the Church and he converted when he was 11 years old. Tietjen said she comes from a long history of members of the Church.
“The gospel is really cool,” Egunjobi said. “Without the gospel, I do not see how this would be happening. I am from a different culture, she is from a different culture, and the gospel is uniting us together.”
Tietjen said she encourages people to be open to different things and to the many different cultures on campus.
“There’s a lot of cultures on campus,” Tietjen said. “We shouldn’t be afraid to experience them we should be willing to open up to them, because when we are not open, that is when we have so many problems in the world.”
The two said they have both received some discouraging remarks from people, but that their love remains strong.
“If the love is there, the color shouldn’t be a barrier,” Egunjobi said. “In the end, we are all human beings.”
Tietjen said they both have grown together through this process, and they look forward to the eternities that are ahead of them.
“After a week of learning new customs, traditions and ways of life, I understood Olu better,” Tietjen said. “I knew for sure that I wanted to be with him forever, no matter what forever would consist of. On the Rock, I had no doubts. I will take my children and grandchildren there to show them how two opposite people with lots of opposition decided to make the climb, face the heights and then stand at the top, strong and firm in their love and dedication.”
Earlier in the year, July to be exact, four beautiful Nigerian sisters who hail from Jigawa State, and are all medical doctors got married on the same day.

A mass grave occupied by skeletons of men and women executed during Spain’s brutal civil war and the ensuing General Francisco Franco dictatorship has been uncovered as scientists take DNA swabs to identify them.
Work has begun on forensic analysis that may identify the dead, after three unmarked pits containing 185 bodies were found in the central Spanish city of Valladolid.
It is thought the city’s cemetery could contain up to 10 similar mass graves, with the victims among the estimated 100,000 who forcibly ‘disappeared’ during the 1936 and 1939 civil war, and Franco’s subsequent regime.
Authorities in Valladolid have paid 25,000 euros (£22,000) on employing a professional team to examine the site.
In 1977 Spain passed an amnesty law pardoning the crimes of the Franco regime, and the mass graves were left undisturbed. But there is a renewed interest in facing up to the country’s past.
Archaeologist Julio del Olmo said victims were executed following judgment in kangaroo courts, or slain in small groups and tipped into the pit by truck.
Some of those discovered in the pits were wearing decayed leather boots.

We hear bad things happening to people and the first thought is ” serves them right”, where is the love that comes with the innocence of being HUMAN? That love that gives way for trust and humanity to prevail, that love that makes the world void of bitterness, that love that makes you be you and I don’t have to judge you because your sin came out in public and mine hasn’t, even though we commit the same sin.
Love is easy, love is fresh, love is true, love is clean, love is healthy, love is joy, love is me, love is you, love is us, love is he, love is she, love is friendship…”
A teenage bride named Evka from Slovak, Europe made waves with her wedding ceremony which was reported to have lasted for 4 days and her expensive wedding dress that cost a whopping £175,000 more than N70m.
In-keeping with tradition, the 19-year-old bride was showered with gold by family and friends. Guests at the plush ceremony also pinned wads of 500 euro (£434) notes to her dress on the dance floor of the wedding venue.
Evka’s hands were adorned with chunky gold finger rings for her big day, and her white dress with golden embroidery reportedly cost a whopping £175,000.
A guest at Evka and Lukas’ wedding said:
“The wedding celebration lasted for four days and cost a modest 35,000 euros (£30,375).”A report on the event also pointed out the “very sweet moment” when the happy couple “seemingly alone except for the camera, count the wads of money in a very business-like manner”.
Musicians and waiters were apparently paid hundreds of euros in tips each.
There are similarities about this scheme in Zimbabwe and Nigeria, as it follows the same model. Both countries are also experiencing an economic crisis and many of its citizens have turned to the MMM Global as a means of livelihood.
An excerpt from The Independent’s article stated;
“That’s despite a warning from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe that the scheme was fraudulent. RBZ warned members of the public that existing investors were “paid money not from genuine market investment of their funds, but from contributions made by new investors, until a point when the scheme can no longer attract new investors”.
What it simply means is that the number of people in need of help has outnumbered the number of people joining. Right now we have nowhere to get our money which we invested.”
Despite the cautionary tales of Zimbabwe and South Africa – and indeed the original MM scheme – a branch is now proving increasingly popular in Nigeria.
“These people always come with very interesting propositions,” Mr Okoroafor said. “These are fraudsters who are just out there to collect people’s money and run away as soon as they hit their target.”
Nigeria’s Central Bank and the Securities and Exchange Commission have warned Nigerians off the scheme but the promise of 30% Returns has proved too much for most people to resist.

A man is suing popular mobile phone brand, Samsung, after his phone, Galaxy Note 7 exploded and scorched his groin while he was sleeping – The man named Michael Taylor spoke to TMZ, stating that his new Galaxy Note 7 blew up and caught fire on his bed in the dead of night. Taylor says the hotline burned his crotch, legs and sheets.
In the docs, obtained by TMZ, he says he had no idea the phone had a defective battery susceptible to overheating and exploding. About a month after he bought it, he was charging the phone overnight and says he woke up to find it “shooting flames” … which caused 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
Samsung had issued a recall earlier in September — before the alleged fire — but Michael says the phone should never have been sold to him in the first place.
A 35-year-old woman, Loretta Ewere, has been reportedly electrocuted at her fiance’s house on Ajoke Kazeem Street in the Idimu area of Lagos State.
According to PUNCH Metro, Ewere’s fiancé, Segun Tolani, was fixing an electrical fault when the incident happened. She was said to have been rushed to a private hospital in the area but was rejected before being confirmed dead at the Igando General Hospital.
Ewere and Tolani had scheduled their wedding for November and preparation was in top gear when tragedy struck.
A resident, who did not want to be identified, said the incident happened around 1pm on Saturday, adding that it created chaos in the neighbourhood.
He said:
“The man had wanted to change his old cable TV decoder and antenna. When power was restored, he discovered that he didn’t have electricity in his house.
“He wanted to do it himself, but neighbours advised him to get the service of an electrician. He contacted an electrician who billed him N2,500. But he said the charge was too high. He decided to go and rent a wooden ladder from someone in the area.
“He mounted the ladder on the wall and called the lady from inside the room to assist him in holding the ladder. She held the ladder with one hand and held an iron pole beside the room with the other hand.
“While he was working, the wire fell and touched the pole she was holding and that was how she was electrocuted.”
PUNCH Metro gathered that Tolani called for help from a next-door neighbour, whose wife reportedly rushed to the scene to pull out the victim with her bare hands.
She was reportedly flung by the electric current. An electrician was said to have been invited, who then disconnected the power.
“The woman fell down and hit her head against the concrete floor. People tried to resuscitate her by giving her milk; but she didn’t come round. A lot of time had been wasted. She was rushed to a private hospital in the area, but she was rejected.
“We took her to the general hospital, where she was confirmed dead. Her corpse was deposited in a mortuary,” another resident said.
PUNCH Metro gathered that Ewere, an indigene of Ewuru, Delta State, worked in Union Diagnostics, a medical lab in Ikeja, while Tolani, who hails from Ekiti State, worked with an insurance company.
When the publication visited the victim’s family house on Ogidan Street, Idimu, they said the family was too distraught to talk about the incident.
However, a relative, who identified himself simply as Charles, blamed the incident on Tolani’s stinginess.
He explained that the duo had been living together for the past four years, adding that the two families had started preparation for their wedding.
He said:
“They did their introduction four years ago and since then, they had been staying together. Their marriage was slated for November and the two families have bought clothes and sent invitation to people.
“Around 1pm of the day that she died, she called one of her friends that she would be going to shop for the wedding, not knowing that she would die that day.
“It was the man’s stinginess that killed her. If he had paid someone to fix the electrical fault, this would not have happened.”
Meanwhile, friends of the victim have started paying tributes to her on the social media.
One of them, Kehinde, wrote on Facebook,
“Loretta (Ewere), a member of the Purchasing and Supply Students Association, The Polytechnic Ibadan, was kind-hearted, brilliant and reserved. The industrious lady was preparing for her last two exams (slated for October 4 and 6) left for her to become a graduate when she died. We love you, but God loves you most. I pray He accepts your soul and comforts your household.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident. She said the corpse had been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy.
She said,
“The woman, Loretta Ewere, was electrocuted around 9am. She was living with one Segun Tolani, to whom she was supposed to be married next month. They were fixing a GoTV antenna when power was suddenly restored. Ewere, who was holding the antenna wire, was electrocuted. The corpse has been deposited in a mortuary for a post-mortem examination.”
A medical expert has warned of the dangers of shaving your pubic hair – Dr Arikawe Adeolu, an Abuja-based medical expert, advised that it is safer to trim the hair rather than shaving it off completely as complete shaving can cause infection.
Adeolu told NAN on Tuesday that shaving or waxing of the hair around the pubic could cause cracks and expose the skin to bacterial infection.
He added that the pubic hair served a major purpose of providing some level of cushioning for the individual, especially during sexual activity, preventing the skin from rubbing against another and causing abrasion.
He explained that if the skin around the pubic region was completely shaved and the individual’s skin came into contact with another person’s skin, friction would be increased due to the skin to skin contact.
He advised that individuals who were worried about the lack of hygiene due to untended pubic hair should consider trimming rather than complete shaving or waxing of the hair.
“When you completely shave the pubic hair, it re-grows in a slanted fashion with the tip sometimes growing into the pubic skin, which can crack open the skin.
“It is usually a small crack which cannot be seen with the naked eyes but due to this crack and loss of integrity of the skin at that level, there is increased risk of getting infection.
“Complete shaving can also cause boil to develop in that region. This is because when you shave, you cause some level of abrasion in the area which opens up the skin.
“These small openings cannot be seen with the eye but they are big enough for the micro organisms to get into the body.
“Also, because the pubic area is always moist, this serves as breeding ground for organisms like bacteria.”
Adeolu said that trimming the pubic hair would also help to reduce the risk of contacting Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), which could also be contacted when fluid from an infected partner’s genitalia came into contact with the pubic area.
According to him, if the partner is already infected, the virus in the semen or body fluid can easily penetrate the skin of the other to infect the individual.
He said that this infection was mostly caused by a virus known as ‘Molluscum contagiosum’, adding that there had been significant increase in incidences of such infection in hospitals.
“It is a viral infection that is also categorised as an STI. It affects the skin and does not need treatment; usually after a couple of weeks or months, the symptoms go away by themselves.
“You also have an increased risk of contacting other STIs such as HIV, Hepatitis, genital warts by complete shaving of the pubic hair,’’ Adeolu said.
