A teenage bride named Evka from Slovak, Europe made waves with her wedding ceremony which was reported to have lasted for 4 days and her expensive wedding dress that cost a whopping £175,000 more than N70m.
In-keeping with tradition, the 19-year-old bride was showered with gold by family and friends. Guests at the plush ceremony also pinned wads of 500 euro (£434) notes to her dress on the dance floor of the wedding venue.
Evka’s hands were adorned with chunky gold finger rings for her big day, and her white dress with golden embroidery reportedly cost a whopping £175,000.
A guest at Evka and Lukas’ wedding said:
“The wedding celebration lasted for four days and cost a modest 35,000 euros (£30,375).”A report on the event also pointed out the “very sweet moment” when the happy couple “seemingly alone except for the camera, count the wads of money in a very business-like manner”.
Musicians and waiters were apparently paid hundreds of euros in tips each.
