I really need your matured advise. I caught my friend’s girlfriend cheating (having sex actually) with another guy and she knew I saw her of course.. She’s been begging me not to talk.
If I keep quiet now and My guy later finds out I knew about it I will become a bad friend.
If I talk it could be the end of a 4 years old relationship!!!
I’m even scared the girl may set me up if I decide to talk.

Dubai luxury shops are feeling the absence of Nigerians who have been kept away from their usual travels to Asia’s shopping capital by a weaker naira and higher airfares, Businessday reports.
Nigerians who typically buy huge volumes of luxury goods are cutting down on their expenses. “Before now, purchases from Nigerians made up about 18% of our market share, but it has dropped to about eight percent this year. .
I tell you the truth, we really miss Nigerians here and we hope things get better so that they can shop again as they used to,” Bilal Chaouch, sales manager, Paul Smith, said. .
“We hope the government in Nigeria will help provide dollars for Nigerians to come and shop here as they use to do. We hope things get better because patronage by Nigerians has been part of our success story,” he added.
Johanna Pascual, sales manager, Accessorize, also said Nigerians often bought accessories in large quantities but there has been a sharp drop this year because only few Nigerians have been visiting recently and those who come do not buy as much as they used to.
“I always believed Nigerians were very rich people because when they came to buy gold, they always bought in large quantities and paid immediately. But that has changed now. We have not sold as much as we sold accessories by this time last year,” Pascual disclosed.
Gilbert, a sales representative of Timex, said he has observed a sharp drop in demand from Nigerians for luxury brands. The Dubai attraction has lost its shine as Nigerians now struggle at the airports to get dollars to travel unlike before when they could easily travel with the cards and shop in over 200 countries around the world.

The Nollywood movie veteran took to his Instagram to write this interesting letter to his daughter who turns 14 today. He shared the photo alongside the caption:
My baby, my sunshine,
For hero-worshiping me, Thank you.
For loving me wholeheartedly and unconditionally, Thank you. For not understanding why people want to take pictures with me but you let them anyway, Thank you. For sharing me with many others, Thank you.
I look at you and I thank God everyday for gifting you to me, because there is no doubt how special you are.
Daughter dearest, I have only one worry. I worry about the difference between your generation and mine and wonder if I will ever be a good enough parent for you.
Yea, I want to be the cool dad you want me to be, you know the one that would let you have your 14th birthday party at a condo, let you have all your friends to the party. Let you wear whatever you wish to wear and let you stay out till 11pm… Well, darling you have to forgive me because that’s never going to happen. As much as I’d love to be really cool and all, it is way more important to me that you grow up with deep seated values that are, Christian and African, then when you’re old enough you can decide what you want. So for now, as the quintessential African dad and correct Urhobo man, I just have to
Censor your friends.
Create a curfew.
Censor your outfits.
Curtail your access to social media… So no, you still can not have an instagram account this year or even next and just so you know, even a 3.8 gpa would not be good enough to make me change my mind.
You see baby, unlike your generation that thinks it’s cool, my generation looks beyond what’s cool, so I choose what is right and appropriate.
Yea, I understand you think it’s weird and not cool and not fair but hey baby, I just cant help myself because I am just an Urhobo man that sent his daughter to the US and would rather she turn out right than be a cool dad, so again, Thank you for loving me unconditionally and I love you from some place deeper than the bottom of my heart.
Happy 14th birthday my baby dearest, God bless and keep you always.
Daddy

Now I’m wishing I lived during these times! This was way back in the days when a meal cost as low as fifty kobo (50k). Meals in Nigerian universities were heavily subsidised by the government, so students, both rich and poor had access to at least one free meal daily.
In addition, the students were also given fruits and vegetables to go with the meal. Balanced diet and all that.
Wow! What ever happened to this nation?! We are not cursed are we?

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has increased the pump price of petrol at its retail outlets by N4 from N141 to N145 per litre.
Though the new N145 price remains within the maximum price cap fixed by the federal government in May, this is the first time fuel at NNPC’s outlets will be sold at that price.
Before now, prices have been hovering between N143 and N141 per litre at NNPC and affiliate stations in major cities and even less at stations in the hinterlands.
Daily Trust reports that prices have been N141 in last few months until Tuesday when it was raised to N145. In Kano and Lagos our correspondents report that the price of fuel has hit N145 per litre at NNPC Mega stations.
Spokesman for the NNPC Garba Deen Muhammad said there was no rule that compels any marketer including the NNPC to sell at a particular price.
“A price regime was introduced between N135 and N145. So, you can sell anywhere within that range. What you are seeing is interplay of market forces.

Okay, so according to this Facebook user, Collins Okello, some young adults in Kenya go to a secret temple in Westland Nairobi, where they sleep in coffins for evil money.
So the woman above has has fulfilled a 14-year dream of holding her own funeral, while still alive – Vera Lucia da Silva, 44, arranged to carry out her bizarre wish to lie in a coffin all day while family and friends pretended she was dead.
And she said it was ‘the best day of her life‘.
The extraordinary ceremony, which was held on the Day of the Dead celebration in South America on Wednesday, November 2, took place at a funeral home in Camocim, a seaside resort in north east Brazil.
While her friends and family were against the idea, they dressed in black and visited throughout the day in a show of support. The owner of the Eternal Garden Funeral home, Paulo Araujo, donated the coffin and the space free to Vera, as a gesture of good will.
In a video filmed on the day, Vera can be seen having her make-up done and enjoying the moment. She messes around opening and closing her eyes causing her friends to scream with horror and laughter as she pretends to be dead one moment and alive in the next.
The married housewife, who doesn’t have children, explained ‘celebrating’ her own funeral was an ‘old dream’ that she never thought would come true. But she was determined to do it before she passed away.
Nigerian business tycoon, Folorunsho Alakija, has said going to the university was not her destiny as she was able to achieve her dreams without a degree.
Alakija, one of the richest black women in the world, said this on Thursday at the Excellence in Leadership program, an annual event organised by Daystar Christian Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.
The founder of Rose of Sharon motivated the audience by saying that she never allowed a lack of university education to suppress her dreams and ambition.
“If I had the opportunity of going to the university, maybe I would have come out with a second class upper or lower but that didn’t happen; that wasn’t to be my destiny,” she said.
I would have loved to go to the university as we all know that university education is good but some of us who have not gone, it is not the end of the world.”
Alakija said she was able to attain her present position because she was determined and ready to pay the price that came with all the challenges she’s had to surmount.
“Having put my foot in the door, I decided I was not going to turn back”, she noted, revealing that when she had to file a lawsuit against the federal government for taking 50 out of her 60 percent equity, she remained determined.
The case which took 12 years to reach a conclusion was a matter of determination, she said. Alakija said she her person has been subjected to series of misconceptions due to the ignorance of people who don’t know her story.
The oil magnate noted that she is a product of hard work, sweat, tears, and tenacity, stressing that she’s not an overnight success.
“A lot of things have been said about me, some say I sold my way to the top; I remember that the headline of one of the national dailies in the country once said ‘Hairdresser given an oil block’. So I even became a hairdresser, one of the many names I was given.”
She encouraged participants at the conference to believe in themselves as it would be easier for others to believe in such people; she added that she believed in herself while moving from fashion designing to an unfamiliar terrain.
A witness, named Mr. Richard Ihediwa, in the ongoing trial of former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisah Metuh, said on Thursday that the N400m Metuh got was disbursed as directed by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
Ihediwa, led in evidence by the counsel to Metuh, Mr. Emeka Etiaba (SAN), told the Abuja High Court that Jonathan gave the directive on how the amount was to be spent, NAN reports.
He said that N21m was paid to former PDP Chairman, Chief Tony Anenih, for a property acquired for use by the party as its media intervention centre.
He added that although the property, located in Asokoro area of Abuja, did not belong to Anenih, he assisted the PDP media team headed by the accused in securing it.
He said:
“The amount covered the cost of hiring the structure, utility vehicles as well as security gadgets at the centre.”
The witness also told the court that various sums were paid to some groups coordinated by some government functionaries, including the late Oronto Douglas and Abbah Dabo.
He said he was not very certain about the amount released to late Douglas, but added that N25m was released to Dabo as mobilisation fee for advocacy groups, in line with the directive.
Ihediwa said the former president also approved different amounts for some other groups and Metuh disbursed the funds to them accordingly.
He said because of the tension and high level of insecurity across the six geo-political regions of the country then, there was the need for government to mobilise various advocacy groups to stabilise the system.
Meanwhile, Justice Okon Abang has reserved ruling for November 15 on applications filed by the defence counsel.
