Prolific Nollywood actor OC Ukeje, who has the hearts of many of his female fans, is one of the actors in the movie scene who brings life to the roles he plays.
According to him, things could get out of hand while on set – in some of his movies, the actor has had to get intimate with some of his female colleagues because it was part of the script.
Even though it’s all an act, OC confessed the scene actually affected him once and, he became aroused while kissing the actress on the set.
The actor said:
“It has happened to me before that I was moved when acting a romantic scene but when it happened, I was involved with the actor in real life. I cannot speak for other films I am going to do later. You can find a girl super attractive and when you guys are kissing, blood starts flowing south ward. But I generally just try to remember that it is a job and I do what I have to do and leave the place. Fortunately it has worked for me so far apart from the one time that it happened.”
He added that he’s blessed with a supportive wife who has not frowned at any of his romantic roles yet.
“I have the responsibility of making sure that whatever I do is tasteful because what we are doing is not easy for our spouses. It is important to make sure that anything you are doing is tasteful enough so that whoever sees it likes what it looks like and that is what your wife gets to see. That it also adds to the story is important otherwise it would be an excuse to be kissing in films. My wife has been very supportive and I don’t think she has frowned at any one yet. I am just a lucky guy.”
At her midday with Toolz session on radio, the on air personality, interviewed female emcee, Eva Alordiah, who says she is set to release her 1960 album which has been sue since 2015.
After the show, Toolz got to show us her massive endowment in photos she shared later on – she’s one of the very few female celebrities who are with such endowment but barely flaunt it in an expository way (I mean nudity).
She also took a snap with the female emcee… See below:
Worldwide leader of the Catholic faith, Pope Francis, overwhelmed 20 ex-prostitutes on Friday after he paid them a surprise visit in Rome.
The Argentine, who has overtime, described the human trafficking behind much prostitution as “a crime against humanity”, sat down with the group, including four women from Albania, seven from Nigeria and six from Romania.
The other three hailed from Italy, Tunisia and the Ukraine, according to a Vatican statement.
The women, all aged around 30, are being sheltered by a Catholic association in an apartment in the Italian capital after being rescued from their pimps.
The 79-year old listened for over an hour to the stories of the former sex slaves, “all of whom suffered serious physical abuse and live under protection,” the Vatican said.
The visit fell under what have been termed Francis’s “Fridays of Mercy”, whereby he carries out one unscheduled act of mercy a month on a Friday, mainly in or near Rome, throughout the pope’s Jubilee year, which started in December and runs to November.
In January, he visited a care home for the elderly and people in a vegetative state, while in February he went to a community for drug addicts.
In March he toured a refugee centre before visiting asylum seekers on the Greek island of Lesbos in April.
The pontiff then spent time with the seriously mentally ill in May before visiting old and ill priests in June and dedicating his July “Friday of Mercy” to sick children in Krakow after praying for the victims of the Holocaust at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi death camp.
Youngest rave of the moment in the comedy skits scene, eight year old, Emmanuella Samuel, came into stardom with her ‘this is not my real face’ comedy skit which went viral – and since then, people have not stopped wanting to see more of her.
Speaking with Ademola Olonilua, she tells how she was able to achieve such stardom via social media.
Read below:
How did you discover that you are good at making people laugh?
I knew I could do comedy when I realised that I could make people laugh especially my classmates.
When did you start posting your comedy skits on social media?
My uncle started uploading our skits on social media in 2014; that should be about two years ago. I am one of the kids under the Mark Angel Comedy Corporation but I am the star kid right now. There are other kids in the company but I was told that I have more public appeal and the other kids are not that mature. We began posting comedy skits online because it was cheaper and we needed a voice.
Emmanuella Samuel
My most popular post is the ‘Not my real face’ joke.
What inspired that particular skit?
It was just one of the materials we wrote and didn’t even see anything special about it. The skit was posted last year.
When you were working on the joke, did you know it would go viral?
No we did not. We just uploaded it like any other material.
What inspires your posts?
It is the Holy Spirit that inspires my social media posts. We also draw inspiration through my upbringing and the environment that I live in.
Do you know the number of fans you have on your social media platforms?
I don’t know the number of followers I have on social media generally but we have our own YouTube channel and we have about 430,000 subscribers.
How many views do you get when you post a skit on the YouTube channel?
The views increase with time. So if we post a major comedy skit, in a month, we should have between 1.5 and two million views.
How many views did ‘Not my real face’ generate?
I have not checked it in recent times but we did not really promote that particular skit, it went viral on its own. We promoted it on Facebook but later on, we put it on our YouTube channel. The skit has been shared on so many other social media platforms. I saw it had 78 million views on a particular page.
It was also on Obama’s first daughter, Malia’s page and it had about 11 million views.
How did you feel when you saw your skit on her wall?
I was very happy and it made me know that it is not only Africans that love what I do. It made me realise that people from other continents are interested in my material. Also, someone from American rapper, Lil Wayne’s family, also posted the skit on their platform. The post generated about 60 million views.
When you joined the social media, did you know it would make you famous?
I did not think about that while joining the social media. What I thought of was to get a new media where I could have a voice. I saw social media as a new media where you could have a voice without necessarily spending all your life savings. We tried normal television for a long time but it was not working. We had to spend a lot of money and my uncle’s job could not afford that always so we had to look for other ways to be heard.
Is it right to say that social media has made you a millionaire?
I do not know if that is right but it is right to say that it has made me popular.
How about your school?
After the holiday, I would be in Basic 2.
How have you been coping with fame and school?
They don’t clash. I am still a kid and I am happy that my uncle is not treating me like an adult but a child that I am. I think things can only go wrong when they start treating me like an adult because I cannot become one overnight. Nothing has really changed about me since I became popular. The only difference is that I am not usually at home most weekends because there are several events I have to attend. When I am home, I live my normal life and I am not treated like a celebrity except occasionally when some people in my area see me and tell me they love my videos. I don’t have any issue with being popular.
It does not affect my school that much. During this holiday, I have started shooting for next season so when I resume school, I will just begin to release the videos. By doing this, it does not clash with my school work. It is only when I have an emergency shoot that I can be permitted to shoot when school resumes and it is usually on Fridays.
Do you plan to make this a career or you would delve into something else when you grow up?
I want to be an actress and a fashion designer when I grow up. I’m still a kid and I can change my mind on my future career. For instance, just last week, I told my uncle that I would want to become an actress and a hip hop artiste. It is still too early to settle down and decide a career path; I am just eight years old.
How do you cope with attending overnight events?
Most times when we go out, my uncle ensures that the organisers call me on stage early so that I can go home to sleep. There was a time we went for an event and I slept off; there was no show at the end of the day because I did not wake up. When I sleep, it is difficult to wake me up. I sleep a lot during the day especially when I have an event but I am still a child and I have to rest at night. I also drink a lot of water. I miss a lot of events and night activities because of sleep. If I tell my uncle that I would rather sleep than attend an event, we would not go.
Some people would argue that it is morally wrong for a child to be exposed to nightlife. Do you agree?
I make sure I attend events that are child, friendly and I do not go anywhere without an adult especially my uncle. I will not go for an event that kids are not supposed to attend or places that they do bad things.
What were some of the challenges you faced growing your brand?
It was difficult for people to accept us and our comedy. When we started, people said things like, ‘kids are not supposed to do comedy’. They often asked why I was doing comedy especially people that do not understand what I do. Also, money was a big problem. The good thing is that with every problem we faced, God provided a solution.
What was your parents’ reaction when you started?
At first, they were not so cool with the idea just like any other parent would be. But my uncle had several meetings with them and explained everything to them. He also told them that it would not affect my school. They were very worried about my education but my uncle told them that I would still be like every child and live like a normal child.
Right now, some people tell me that I don’t behave like a star. They say that I behave like a normal kid and I dress like one. They don’t know my background; we are normal people and not stars.
We did not start this project for me to become a star instead we needed a voice; we wanted people to know us. If my talent brought me to where I am today, I thank God but that was not the plan.
Congregates of Mount Zion General Assembly went home with heads down on Sunday after a failed demonstration of power by the church pastor when a girl fainted after he put a very big and heavy speaker on top of her, promising her that she would not feel pain. The woman has now died from internal injuries caused to her lungs.
Pastor Lethebo Rabalango had organised a night of worship at his church in Polokwane where he was teaching about demonstration of power in which he emphasised that if Jesus walked on water, he too could do anything with faith.
It is on this point that he invited a girl from the praise team and asked her to lie down. He then ordered Ushers to carry a big speaker and put on her stomach saying the weight would not harm her. As if it was not enough, he climbed on top of the speaker, adding pressure to suffocate the girl who remained quite for she had already passed out.
After seating on top of the speaker which was still on the girl’s stomach for close 5 minutes, he got up and ordered removal of the speaker, but the girl could not rise because she had fainted.
It took some elders giving her first aid treatment that she came back but complained of a broken rib. The she was then taken to hospital.
However, the pastor blamed the girl and accused her of having little faith for she could not withstand a very simple task. Pastor Lethabo can be accessed via his facebook Account.
It was like a mirage, when one Isa Hamma of ChaffaJaule village in Fufore local government area of Adamawa State presented himself at the Jimeta Clinic and Maternity for an ailment. After diagnoses, he was issued with drugs and discharged and asked to come back after three days for follow up.
According to the elder brother of the victim, MallamUmaru Isa Yahya, he said that when they came back for the follow up on the appointed date, the doctor handling the case at the clinic, Doctor Yakubu Hassan, after clinical observation, told them that the ailment required surgical operation and it would cost N50,000,00.
Umaru said they went and mobilised the money and the surgery was carried out, however the victim could not urinate resulting to swelling of his body.
“On seeing the condition of the patient, he, (the doctor) referred us to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe on the account that the case was beyond his limit” he said
Yahya added that at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, the medical personnel said “kidneys of the victim were removed after he underwent surgical nephrectomy at the Jimeta Clinic and can only survive if another kidney is planted in him or he begins to live on hemodialysis,” and referred them to Federal Medical Centre, Yola on account of its proximity.
He stated that they now spend not less than N40, 000, 00 on a weekly basis for the dialysis at the Federal Medical Centre ,Yola and solicited for assistance from well spirited individuals to enable the patient continue surviving on dialysis.
Contacted on the issue, the doctor, who handled the case at the Jimeta Clinic, Doctor Yakubu Hassan, confirmed that the said patient was operated because of an ailment that has nothing to do with kidneys.
He said based on the nature of the case, he referred them to a consultant at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe.
The pastor of a popular Pentecostal church in Edo state, Pastor Kingsley Amayo, has been reportedly apprehended over the questionable death of his wife, Mrs Faith Amayo.
Detectives at Zone 5 Police headquarters in Benin, Edo State also arrested three other pastors of his church in connection with the death of the 38 year old woman in Uromi town, Esan North-East area.
They were arrested after the woman’s family wrote a petition, alleging questionable circumstances surrounding the death of their daughter.
Elder brother of the deceased, Engineer Fidelis Evbuomwan, who spoke with journalists in Benin, said the wife who was yet to have a child was properly married to Pastor Kingsley Amayo in 2011.
He said his bereaved family had to instruct their lawyer to initiate a petition when their in-law, Pastor Kingsley Amayo gave conflicting accounts of how his wife died in an accident he was also involved.
Engr. Evbuomwan explained that on Tuesday, July 26, 2016:
Pastor Kingsley Amayo had through his elder brother, one Chief Iso, informed the family that their daughter, Mrs Faith Amayo, had died in a motor accident at Ujogba while her husband Pastor Kingsley Amayo was driving her to Benin City.
According to Engineer Evbuomwan, their findings revealed that no case of accident was recorded at Ujogba nor reported at Ekpoma Police Division in charge of the area that fateful day. They appealed to the concerned authorities to ensure that justice prevailed.
The family want police to unravel the location of the accident, the other vehicle allegedly involved in the head-on collision with Pastor Amayo’s Sienna car, who rescued them and the hospital where the late wife was pronounced dead, who embalmed her corpse before she was taken to mortuary in Uromi and why was it not reported to the police or wait for her family members to see her?
The Zonal Public Relations Officer (ZPRO) DSP Emeka Iheanacho, explained that the discrepancies in the report made to the police on the death of the woman informed the investigation.
He said a case of accident was reported at Ekpoma Police Division by the pastor while the family of the woman wrote a petition, alleging murder to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in the zone.
“,,,the petition before AIG is from the family of the deceased where they suspected that the husband must have used the woman for ritual.
“So, that is the matter we are investigating presently”, Iheanacho said, expressing confidence in the ability of the investigating team to unravel the TRUE circumstances of the woman’s death.
An educated, 19-year-old Indian girl has taken a lot of people aback after she sliced off her tongue with a blade and offered it to Goddess Kali to appease the deity into granting her heart’s desire.
Aarti Dubey, an undergraduate student at TRS College in Madhya Pradesh, made the extreme sacrifice a day after she dreamed about the deity demanding her tongue in exchange for granting all her wishes.
Her brother Sachin told Mail Online:
“Aarti had confided in me about the dream and told me that she was going to offer her tongue to the deity. But it never occurred to me that she was serious about it. I thought she was just kidding.
“I have heard about incidents of illiterate and superstitious people offering their body parts to appease the gods. I never thought that my own college-going sister could be so superstitious.”
The shocking act took place at a Kali temple in the town of Reeva, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. After cutting off her tongue, Aarti fell unconscious immediately.
The priest and fellow devotees present on the temple premises covered her with a scarf and kept praying for her well-being instead of taking her to a doctor.
When the girl regained consciousness after five hours, people hailed it as the blessing of the goddess.
“I was right there when the girl cut off her tongue and offered it to the deity. The goddess is the almighty and she always protects her devotees,” said priest Devi Prasad Sharma.
Much to the surprise of the onlookers and devotees, Aarti got up and finished the rest of the rituals, including doing the rounds of the temple premises, with a faint smile on her face.
As the news spread in the locality, the authorities swung into action and a team of doctors and policemen arrived at the spot around noon. The doctors did a check-up on Aarti and sent her home after giving her first aid.
Shyam Mishra, a local journalist, said:
“There have been incidents of people offering their organs to the gods, expecting to get their wishes granted by the supreme power. What is startling in this case is the girl in question is educated. Illiterate people are bound to be superstitious, but when educated people become superstitious it does not bode well for the society as a whole.”
Republican presidential aspirant, Donald Trump joked on Thursday that if he won the post of heading the White House, it could be his ticket through the Pearly Gates.
“I figure it’s probably, maybe the only way I’m going to get to heaven,” he told a group of evangelical pastors in Florida.
In recent weeks, Trump has been losing a number of key demographics, but most polls show he is still winning the evangelical vote. An NBC poll released this week found 71 percent of evangelicals plan to vote for Trump compared to 22 percent for Hillary Clinton.
Trump called on the pastors at Thursday’s meeting to help get out the vote, saying it would be “the most important election that the country’s ever had” for religious voters.
“So go out and spread the word and once I get in, I will do my thing that I do very well,” he said.

“These circumstances are unlike any party you have attended before, requiring emotional stamina, centeredness and openness.”

The 41-year-old artist with ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, held the gathering to say goodbye before becoming one of the first Californians to take a lethal dose of drugs under the state’s new doctor-assisted suicide law for the terminally ill.
“For me and everyone who was invited, it was very challenging to consider, but there was no question that we would be there for her,” said Niels Alpert, a cinematographer from New York City.
“The idea to go and spend a beautiful weekend that culminates in their suicide that is not a normal thing, not a normal, everyday occurrence. In the background the lovely fun, smiles and laughter that we had that weekend was the knowledge of what was coming.”
Davis worked out a detailed schedule for the gathering on the weekend of July 23-24, including the precise hour she planned to slip into a coma, and shared her plans with her guests in the invitation.
As the weekend drew to a close, her friends kissed her goodbye, gathered for a photo and left, and Davis was wheeled out to a canopy bed on a hillside, where she took a combination of morphine, pentobarbital and chloral hydrate prescribed by her doctor.
Davis ended her life a little over a month after a California law giving the option to the terminally ill went into effect. Four other states allow doctor-assisted suicide, with Oregon the first in 1997.

While it’s a craze among most female celebrities not only in the country but across the world to show off their “baby bumps” whilst they’re pregnant… talented and multi-award winning writer Chimamanda Ngozi-Adichie, begs to differ, stating that pregnancy is a sacred state that a woman ought to be discreet about.
According to her, this is the reason she did not make it a public matter when she was expecting her child.
In a recent interview with UK’s Channel 4 News, where she spoke about racism in America and the UK, among other matters, Chimamanda said:
“I wanted my pregnancy to be something I shared with the people I love, with the people who know me. There is a kind of pregnancy as a trendy thing that I find very uncomfortable with and I deeply dislike expressions like ‘baby bump’.
“I find it very irritating. It was a very deeply introspective time, thinking about (how) my life is going to change forever and the enormousness of bringing a baby into the world. It was a sacred time for me and I wanted to share it with the people I love.”
This approach of hers to family matters also affects the way she has been keeping her child who, she, for instance, would want to lead an ordinary but meaningful life.
“I don’t want her to think it is normal to have her picture in newspapers, because it is not. Just because your mother happens to write and sometimes have her pictures in the newspapers, doesn’t mean you get to,” Chimamanda adds.
This is just sad! If it gets another life, this dead whale will never make the mistake of landing on the shores of Enu-Ama beach, in the Ilaje area of Ondo State.
The quite unfortunate animal was still groaning and gasping for its dear life when some hungry Nigerians with no interest in marine wildlife conservation descended upon it with knives, machetes and every sharp instrument available and butchered the Whale.
It’s sad that these Nigerians are not being educated on the dire importance of wildlife conservation, but who am I to judge?! with the current hardships in the country, you won’t blame them for trying to fend for themselves.

Head of States, President Muhammadu Buhari while receiving the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Executive Director, Professor Babatunde Osotimehin, at the State House on Thursday, said that the nation has suddenly gone poor.
“It has been a very difficult year for Nigeria. Before we came to office, petroleum sold for about $100 per barrel.
Then it crashed to $37, and now oscillates between $40 and $45 per barrel. Suddenly, we’re a poor country, but commitment to transparency and accountability is not making people know that there is severe shortage,” a statement by his SA (Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, quoted the President as saying.
The President said that commitment to transparency and accountability is serving the government in good stead, despite severe shortage of resources in the country.
He asked the UNFPA to bear with Nigeria in whichever area the country could not live up to its responsibilities for now, adding that exploding population and different cultural practices in the country provide fertile ground for research to organizations like UNFPA.
The President thanked the UN agency for its commitment to saving lives in Nigeria, particularly of women and children.
On food security, President Buhari said reports from the North-East of the country were encouraging, as people were returning to their farmlands, with the guarantee of relative security.
Prof Osotimehin, a former Minister of Health in Nigeria, said UNFPA was determined to promote health care facilities across the country, noting that reduction of maternal mortality was doable, if the country paid more attention to access to health facilities, and human resources to run them.
He also encouraged Nigeria to commit to providing resources for health care, on a rollover basis, pledging that the UN would work with the country to provide humanitarian assistance not only in the North-East, “but even extended to the Lake Chad basin”.

Chelsea FC player, Mikel Obi has had to give out the sum of $4,000 to ensure that the Nigeria Olympic team caught their flight to Salvador after the hotel in Sao Paulo held the entire team to ransom.
Players and officials of the Dream Team VI, were held to ransom in Sao Paulo, over unpaid bills incurred by additional officials.
Organizers of the Games, insisted on a team of 25 players – 18 players and seven officials.
A source confirms that it was the responsibility of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), to offset the bills of the extra five officials.
“We just arrived Salvador now from Sao Paolo. We nearly missed our flight because of unpaid bills in the hotel. The hotel held us to ransom,” a team official told AfricanFootball.com.
The problem is that all the additional officials here in Brazil are the responsibility of the Nigeria Football Federation, who said they will pay for them, but they did not pay for them again. “The affected officials included the team’s media officer, the team coordinator, the kits manager in charge of players and officials’ kits and the accompanying assistant director technical.
“A call was put across to the honourable minister of youths and sports, he said we should put the bill in the (credit) card but the card didn’t work. They tried and tried but the minister said that only 18 players and seven officials should be captured as regards payment according to the rules of the Olympic Games.
“So, the hotel bills of these other officials, about five of them cost the sum of over $4,000. They held us hostage for more than one hour and we nearly missed our flight. It was Mikel (Obi) who rescued us by paying the money.
“I can tell you honestly speaking that this incident is not the fault of the minister because the minister listed the people to be accommodated which were 18 players and seven officials.”
Would you believe that this was just 7 years ago?! Damn! – I’m sure that if you told the singer by that time, that he was gonna turn out to be an international superstar that he is now, he’d doubt it!

Ace Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, has withdrawn his statement on the current hardship of the country, apologizing to former president, Goodluck Jonathan for disrespecting him.
In his previous IG post, the comedian refuted rumors that he was one of the advocates for the emergence of Buhari’s administration.
He aired his stance on his alleged involvement in politics.
He wrote:
“Truth of the matter is that I would have voted anyone that could speak two words of English against Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan and that’s strictly based on the amount of greed and selfishness we witnessed from members of his (Jonathan’s) administration in the 6 years that he sat on the rock.
“I have said it numerous times that I am not a politician hence I try not to dabble in politics. However I think a few people interpret crying out against injustice by the one as campaign for the other.”
But not less than 24 hours after airing his stance, Basketmouth apologized for appearing as though ‘disrespectful’ to the former president.
He, however, retracted his statement, stating he has ‘nothing but respect’ for the former president.
He wrote:
“I have to sincerely apologise at this point that in expressing my opinion in my last post which was primarily to clear the air about who I campaigned, supported or rooted for or didn’t, I was disrespectful to a man I have nothing but respect.
“The last President may have had some wrong advisers and consequently decisions were made that will eventually impact on the economy, however I am sorry if it came across as an attack on the man Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
“We all desired a CHANGE, majority voted for it, now we have it, it is definitely a process, a tough one because I know the hustle is real…believe me, I know.
“I trust it can only get better, let’s just try to be patient,” he added.

So the uncensored video of the daughter of President of the United States, Malia Obama has been uploaded online.
In the video, you can clearly see the white girl making a selfie video which captures Malia in the background, sucking in a stick.
The 18 year old who is set to attend Harvard next year, was at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, Illinois a few days ago—where she partied hard with friends and where the video of her “smoking” the joint was captured.
In an earlier footage, Malia was seen twerking and teasing off by showing a bit of her underwear at the music festival – now, this footage shows her sort of smoking “pot”.
This 10 year old boy was abandoned by both his separated parents after both of them found new spouses – each others new spouse didn’t want a stepson in their household causing the poor boy to be rejected.
A social media user shared the quite unfortunate story. Read below:
A ten year-old-boy, simply identified as Sayyid, is roaming the streets of Kano in search of food and shelter, following the separation of his parents.
The ordeal of the minor started two years ago when his mother’s new husband said he would not accept “agola” (a derogatory term for a stepson) in his home.
At this point the boy had no option but to go back to father, who just married a richer woman and settled in her house.
Narrating his situation to Freedom Radio, a local station in Kano, Sayyid said when he returned to his father, his father’s new wife also said she would not accept “agola” in her house.
According to Sayyid, his father then concurred with his bride’s directive and sent him away.
Since then, Sayyid had no option but to wander around the city in search of food and shelter.
“I join beggars to get what to eat, and I sleep anywhere I find myself,” he said.
“It is always difficult for me to get what to eat. My dream is to go to school and become rich so that I can buy food to people.”
In the game of football…When the referee shows a player a red card, he leaves the football field in disgrace…or pride, hits the showers and of course put to thinking about the mistake he just made. However, that was not the case in the Guatemalan third division where a match official was seriously beaten up during a game between Deportivo Chicacao and Obereños.
Division 3 player, Daniel Pedrosa, in a most unsportsman-like manner viciously beat up the referee after he received a red card.
Pedrosa mistakenly bumped into the referee near the halfway line while playing and the referee was far from pleased, immediately dishing out a red card to the midfielder.
The incensed player who felt hard done by, immediately headbutted and punched the referee with his fists before he was restrained by his fellow team mates.
