According to Facebook user named Esame Nkim shared this pictures with caption:
“This is happening live in my place of work. The picture of the boys below this write-up used female names and pictures to make friends with some girls on Facebook.
The innocent girls were invited to meet with the supposed “friend”, when the girls got to the address at no. 1 Atekong in Calabar.
The boys handed their phone to a girl to go bring in the girls. As soon as the girls entered the house the girl who ushered them in disappeared.
The two girls were raped by five boys, videotaping their acts and later asked the girls to pay them 30k or the video will be uploaded to the net.
They showed the girls clips from their escapades with other girl s and how much they paid. As the girls went out in search of the money, they decided reporting the case to law enforcement agents and they were picked up. Beware of who you add as friends!”

The video has long gone viral…you can see it below:
Ex-husband of Senator Stella Oduah, Lt-Col. Satchie Emmanuel Etoromi (rtd.) pleaded on Wednesday with the ex-Aviation Minister to return the body of his late son, Maxwell Chinedu Toritseju Etoromi, for proper burial in Warri, Delta State.
Cief Etoromi, who spoke with journalists in Warri shortly after sending a powerful delegation to his royal majesty, Igwe D. O. Oduah, the Igwe of Akili Ozizor, Ogbaru in Anambra State, expressed sadness over the death of his son and how he was treated by the Senator.
In his letter to the royal father titled,
“Appeal To Intercede to Ensure Senator Stella Adaeze Oduah Brings My Son, Maxwell Chinedu Obiechina Wereyesigha Toritseju Etoromi To Me In Warri For Burial,” the bereaved father said he read about the death of their 28 years old son in the newspapers without being informed by his ex-wife.
“His Royal Highness Igwe Oduah 1 betrothed Stella Oduah to me on 18th November 1984 in Akili Ozizor. We married on the 16th of December 1984 in His Highness`s Palace in Akili Ozizor. After the payment of dowry and exchange of gifts, we were taken to Nde-Mili where we performed the final rites.
“I am surprised to see in the internet stories that my son Maxwell Omabuwa Temisanre Obiechina Wereyesigha Toritseju Chinedu Etoromi who Stella delivered for us on 14th March 1988 at 05.00 hour in St Mary`s Hospital Ugboroke Warri is dead”, the bereaved father said in the letter.
He alleged that up till now, his enstranged wife had not contacted him on the death of their son only for her to commence preparation to bury him last Friday in her home town.
“Up till now Stella has not told me my son died in her custody. There is rumour that my son will be buried in Akili Ozizor. That is not acceptable at all. My son must be brought to me in Warri for internment”, he lamented.
In the letter which was copied to Most Reverend Valerian Okeke, The Arch-Bishop of Onitsha, and the Parish Priest, Father, Donald Uzoh of Sacred Heart Parish, the bereaved father insisted that his late son must be returned for proper burial in his father’s place.
Chief Etoromi explained to the monarch that the stories needed not be told now, but his grief at Omabuwa`s transition was too much to bear, hence he is is reacting this way.
It would be recalled that Akili Ozizor, the quiet country home of Nigeria’s former Aviation minister and presently the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial Zone,Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah, last Monday witnessed an unusual heavy vehicular and human movement when sympathisers, friends and dignitaries from across Anambra state rallied for vigil mass for the peaceful repose of the soul of late master Maxwell Chinedu, son of Senator Oduah who died last Friday at the age of 28.
The media personality in this new interview with Pulse, gives details on what started his rift with his former close friend Basketmouth.
“You see there’s a point in the conversation that I cannot have for legal reasons, but there was an alliance that was broken and Basketmouth took the other side or it appeared to me that he did, and he never gave me a call. This is my guy, he never gave me a call to say why did you do this or why did you not do this and I felt slightly slighted” revealed Freeze.
“I remember when he was driving a Jetta and I was driving a golf. I am talking about 20-year-old cars basically.”
“He is an amazing talent I must say and I watched that talent grow from a seed into a forest that it is right now” admits Freeze.
“Also, I have to give it to him he was part of my story. He encouraged when there wasn’t much encouragement. So I hate to hear all the stories that I am hearing about me and him” he further said.
“Unfortunately, if you come after me I will come after you. I am reactive, with him, I am reactive, with most things to I am reactive. I am not pro-active but just know that for every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction. As long as he keeps…I mean you saw the shade the other day. Like really? But he is my guy, he is a great guy and I love him to death” said the OAP.

It seemed like a normal day for Kurt de Cramer, a vet in a busy veterinary practice in South Africa’s Rant en Dal Animal Hospital in Mogale City.
He was performing a Caesarean section on a female Irish wolfhound, who showed distress and prolonged abdominal straining when she was due to give birth. For de Cramer it was a routine event; he averages about 900 Caesarean sections each year.
But something was different about this delivery. When he started the procedure, de Cramer noticed that the wolfhound had an unusual bulging by her uterus.
At first, he thought the lump was excess fluid surrounding a foetus. De Cramer painstakingly extracted this foetus from the bulge by making an incision into the dog’s uterus.
That was when the real shock came. He found not one, but two foetuses. They were both attached with umbilical cords to the same placenta.
“When I realised that the puppies were of the same gender and that they had very similar markings, I also immediately suspected that they might be identical twins having originated from the splitting of an embryo,” says de Cramer.
He could not stop and marvel at this peculiar discovery, because there were still five live puppies to deliver. These appeared as they normally do, each with their own placenta arranged in single file in their mother’s uterus.
This was the first time de Cramer had delivered two living pups from one placenta in 26 years of practice. He immediately called upon other reproductive specialists to confirm his suspicions.
The team, including Carolynne Joone of James Cook University in Townsville, Australia and Johan Nöthling of the University of Pretoria in South Africa, obtained blood samples when the twins were two weeks old.
“The twins looked very similar,” says Joone. “But pups from the same litter often do, [and] there were small differences in the white markings on their paws, chests and the tips of their tails. I wasn’t sure they were monozygotic [identical] at all initially.”
However, the results confirmed what de Cramer had suspected: the dog had given birth to two identically genetic puppies. De Cramer had therefore delivered the first known instance of monozygotic twin dogs. The team outline their findings in the journal Reproduction in Domestic Animals.
The subtle differences in the markings on their fur initially caused some doubt to their status as identical.
This can be explained by the fact that, despite having the same DNA, the way individual genes are expressed can differ. “Human identical twins also have the same genes, but because those genes are expressed differently in each person, they have different freckle and fingerprint patterns,” says de Cramer.
When the twins were six weeks old the team again took DNA samples, this time from their tissue rather than their blood. They also profiled the rest of the litter, “really just to have some sort of idea of how similar the pups in the litter were genetically”, says Joone.
If the other pups from the same litter had very similar profiles, the team says they could not have convincingly concluded that the other two were identical.
Again, the results confirmed that the first two pups were genetically identical, whereas the others were only similar to the level that littermates usually are.
This is the first recorded case in the scientific literature, but does that mean it is a rare occurrence? Female dogs, known as bitches, often have several pups in each litter. Many of the pups often look strikingly similar, and DNA tests are not typically performed.
It is hard to know, says Joone. “We are so lucky that this bitch ended up having a C-section,” she explains, because otherwise it is unlikely her owners would have noticed. “Yes, there would have been one less placenta than there were pups, but as the bitch often eats the placentas the owner probably would have simply shrugged this off.”
While this is the first confirmed instance of genetically-identical twins, it is impossible to say just how rare it is. “There have been rumours about twins in dogs before,” says Joone. “We just happened to be lucky enough to be able to confirm it genetically.”
It seems unlikely that identical twin puppies are particularly common. “It has taken so long for us to find a monozygotic pair, so they are probably rare,” says Joone. “But so many of them will have been born naturally and blissfully unaware.”
Non-identical multiples are common in many species, like dogs and rabbits. However, identical offspring are believed to be extremely rare. The exception is ourselves and nine-banded armadillos, which give birth to identical quadruplets, each with their own placenta.
It is thought that identical twins are rare because, when two foetuses share one placenta, they do not get enough nutrients from the mother and are therefore less likely to survive.
For instance, identical twin foetuses have been reported in horses, but none have survived. A horse’s placenta is not efficient enough to transport oxygen for two foetuses.
This means that when a twin foal dies in the womb, “the living one will abort due to his dead neighbour”, says Jan Govaere of Ghent University, who in 2008 published a paper on the abortion of identical twin horses, one of which had died early on. “If a horse is carrying twins, most of them are lost within a month of gestation,” he says.
For the same reason, it was surprising to de Cramer that the identical twin pups he delivered were healthy. He had only seen one other case of two foetuses sharing a placenta, back in 2014, and the foetuses were already dead when he performed a Caesarean section.
“It is even less likely for placenta-sharing puppies to survive, because of several complications relating to nutrient and oxygen supply from a single placenta having to do the job that is normally done by two placentas,” he says.
Today the twin dogs are still doing well. They were slightly smaller at birth, but by the time they were six weeks old they had reached a similar size to the other pups in their litter.
As with many rare things in nature, “people don’t see these things unless they know to look,” says Joone. “Perhaps now they will, and more will appear.”

Foreign pop star, Chris Brown has reportedly been released on bail after his dramatic arrest after a tense 11-hour stand-off with the police.
According to records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, he was released on £250,000 bail today.
The star’s attorney Mark Geragos tweeted shortly after: “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false.”
This is after he was held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon – a beauty queen identified as Baylee Curran spoke to TMZ about the alleged incident, claiming the singer threatened her with a gun after she admired a piece of jewellery.
Baylee revealed she had “partied” with Chris in the past and said he had always been “nice” but this time was “out of it“. On Monday night she claims to have gone to his Tarzana mansion where they hungout in a hot tub and were having fun, until she admired a piece of jewellery worn by a member of Chris’ crew.
She says she came to his house with a friend, spent a little time in the hot tub, and then walked back inside where a member of Chris’ crew was displaying jewelry. Baylee says when she admired one piece the guy went nuts, and then Chris followed suit by demanding she “get the f*** out” and pointed a gun at her.
She says as she tried to leave Chris’ crew wouldn’t let her take her cell phone until she signed a non-disclosure agreement. She refused to sign, and she and her friend left.
The Anti-Robbery Squad of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, has arrested a four-man gang that had allegedly been terrorising residents of the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects – Akin Ayotunde, Isaac Ogbonna, Sola Dede and Sodiq Lawal – specialised in lurking around houses at night and switching off their victims’ generators before attacking them.
They, however, met their Waterloo last Thursday when they were arrested after invading the apartment of one Bello Hakeem in the Igbe area.
Our correspondent was told that the suspects spent six hours in the victim’s duplex and went away with his car, generator, money, phones, Automated Teller Machine cards, modems, laptops and cash.
They also stole his wife’s jewellery and withdrew N100,000 using one of the ATM cards.
Hakeem told our correspondent that around 11.09pm on Tuesday, he observed that his generator suddenly went off and he asked two of his children to go outside and fix the problem.
“About five minutes after they left, they were forced back into the house by four men, who were armed with knives.
“They ordered us to cooperate with them. They searched the house and made away with three laptops, six phones, three ATM cards, a new 3.5KVA generator, one 75alms battery, two modems, jewellery, cash, and my Toyota Corolla. They held my family hostage for six hours before leaving at about 6am the next day,” he added.
Hakeem, an environmental scientist, said he reported the incident at the Ijede Police Station, adding that the suspects were able to withdraw N100,000 from his First Bank account before he deactivated all the stolen ATM cards.
He said two days after the incident, a friend called him that a car that looked like his own had been put up for sale.
He said operatives from the SCIID, Yaba, were alerted and the suspects were rounded up.
The four suspects, who confessed to the crime, said they operated with knives to avoid bloodshed.
The gang leader, Ayotunde, 27, said,
“I used to sell garri with my grandma in a market before a former Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, demolished shops in the market. I tried another job, but it didn’t work.
“I then sold the idea of robbing houses to my friends and we agreed to use only knives and not guns. We always lurk around developing areas in Ikorodu at night, look for any house that had its generator on, scale the fence and put off the generator. When the occupants of the house come out to check the generator, we attack. We made N60,000 from our first operation in March.
“I was arrested when the man whom I had given the man’s car to called me that he had found a buyer. He said the buyer had paid N700,000 for the vehicle and that I should come for my share. We agreed to meet at a restaurant in Ojota. But on getting there, I discovered that it was a set up and I was arrested.”
Ogbonna, 23, an indigene of Ebonyi State, said he was looking for money for the treatment of his elder sister when he was invited to join the gang.
“My sister needed blood transfusion and I had to look for money by all means. I got N25,000 from the operation,” he added.
The third suspect, 24-year-old Dede, from Ondo State, said he joined the group because he was told nobody would be killed, adding that he needed money to change his apartment.
He said, “An Alfa told me to move out of my family house because there was a spiritual force working against the success of men in the house. I needed money to change my apartment.”
The police also arrested the receiver of some of the stolen items, Akeem Lawal, who claimed that the suspects lied to him that the goods were imported.
The Police Public Relations officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest, adding that investigations were ongoing.
She said, “The last house they robbed belonged to a couple who quickly alerted the police. They were trailed and arrested. They are currently undergoing interrogation at the command.”
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command, yesterday, said it had concluded plans to dock a Catholic priest, Reverend Father Anthony Ochigbo, before an Abuja High Court over allegation that he raped a 10-year-old girl.
The Officer-in-Charge of Legal Matters at the Command, Mr. James Idachaba, made the disclosure after he applied and withdrew an initial one-count rape charge Police entered against the priest before an Abuja Upper Area Court at Gudu.
The Upper Area court judge, Alhaji Umar Kagarko, had on Monday, remanded Rev. Ochigbo in prison custody, even as he adjourned ruling on the defendant’s application for bail. However, at the resumed sitting, the prosecuting counsel, Chief Superintendent of Police, Mr. Idachaba, persuaded the Upper Area Court judge to hands off the matter for a higher court to take over the trial.
Idachaba, who anchored his application on Section 106 of Administration of Criminal Justice Act, ACJA, 2015, stressed that the Upper Area Court was bereft of the requisite jurisdiction to handle the case.
The prosecution told the court that it was the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), that okayed the transfer of the matter to a higher court.
Despite objection by the defence counsel, Mr. Godwin Chukwukere, the court acceded to the withdrawal request. The judge said he had no option than to strike out the initial First Information Report before him and discharge the defendant. Nevertheless, the priest is still in police detention awaiting his arraignment before the high court.
Are they pulling our legs or what?! They shouldn’t toy with us oh!
Female music sensation and rapper, Simi and Ycee, took to Twitter moments ago to… It’s a lie joor! It’s pure sarcasm! They can’t just come and fool us like that… On the last day of August? We’re not falling for it! *eyes rolling*.
The two took to Twitter moments ago to “act” like they’re secretly dating but now, have let “the dog outta the bag”…
Do you believe them? Some fans even said is the rapper not too young for her bu she said age is just a number… See below:
So, I thought I was the only one who is rather pissed at Chidinma’s silence..No new music from her, no material, nothing.. Just bunch of new pictures, and promoting her colleagues works on her instagram page.
Apparently, I’m not the only one who shares this sentiment, here’s an open letter from a big fan of Chidinma. Read below:
Miss Kedike Chidinma Your Silence Lately Is Rather Annoying Than Golden.
As a very concerned fan, I’m deeply worried about your inactivity lately in the music industry. The last quarter of the year is lurking around the corner; your fans are starved as you have not served any meaningful tune lately. Oh please don’t remind me about the few features you graced this year.
In my candid opinion, none of those songs can be nominated on any award show as “Collaboration of the Year”. Let me prove to you I am a fan, I will possibly name all songs you have been featured that I am aware. “I Am A Winner”, “All I Want is You”, “Mama”, “Bless Me”, that means I have been keeping up. Unfortunately, none of those songs has inspired much of an applause. It was another song with Miss Kedike.
You brought home KORA award as the Best Female West African Act in 2012, can you do that now in 2016? I mean can you win an award now over Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, or maybe even a Simi? Except that must be a charity award. It’s been four years since you bagged an award, ain’t you hungry for one now? A lot has changed since you dropped your debut studio album roughly four years ago. Let me remind you a bit.
New talents are now on the block, some have already released solid debut albums. I’m sure you are aware of Lil Kesh, Kiss Daniel, Adekunle Gold. In a bit to be fair let me remind you of Simi, Aramide these girls are killing it will their voices. Besides, there is Seyi Shay in the block, Yemi Alade has since left your class as she has two albums to her name and with strong claims as “Mama Africa”. I dare not mention Tiwa Savage, ain’t nothing stopping her not even here marriage and her new kid, she is headed worldwide.
As a fan, I can’t say which direction you going with your music. I got news of your exit from Capital Hill Records, and wide speculations you have pitch tent with Flavour’s 2nite Entertainment. Hold on a second, is the Nigerian economy directly impacting your music? One thing that bugs me is your propensity to kiss your male counterparts in music videos or during a stage performance, never mind, it’s none of my business. I sincerely hope you know there is no sleeping on a bicycle as music in Nigeria is concerned.
I hate to say this, after your successful run with “Eni Mi Baller” it seems you took a chill pill, pulled a back seat and became nonchalant. Earnestly we miss the attitude you brought into your popular songs “Eni Mi Baller” and “Kedike”. Why are you still being referred to as “Miss Kedike”? It’s simple; there has been nothing really impactful you have done to be christened after, SMH. You seriously have to thank MTN and Coca-Cola for giving you flashes of the Spotlight. I begin to wonder what would have been your fate without them. I wouldn’t want to imagine.
I have suddenly lost interest in bearing my thoughts and those of numerous fans about you. This is where I end my tirade. Dear Miss Kedike you can do better.
The stunning Nollywood actress and mother, and her husband, Victor Coker have arrived in Greece for their white wedding ceremony which comes up tomorrow, 1st of September.
The couple got married few months ago traditionally in Port Harcourt while the bride had her burlesque themed bridal shower few days ago.
If by now you’re not aware that Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg is in Lagos, Nigeria…Then you should throw away your mobile phone.
..and if you’re aware he’s in Lagos..you should be as excited as I am..Even though I have no hope and chance of meeting him. Introvert…Thou art an heartless bitch…
So, someone on Twitter asked the most serious question of all…and here it is:
The greatest unanswered question in the Universe right now: Where will Mark Zuckerberg eat his first Nigerian Jollof Rice?
I mean he’s in Yaba which is like the Nigerian tech industry space (since they hate the Yabacon valley tag) and what better place to get Mark to try Jollof than White House? He can like to visit YabaLeft too
2. Olaiya
