A Nigerian lady identified as Miss Ezeani has shared the heartbreaking reason she stopped attending church.
Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, Ezeani revealed that she stopped going to church when the leaders demanded that her family pay off her deceased father’s outstanding debt before he could be buried.
She shared this in response to a viral tweet on the internet asking netizens why they stopped attending church.
According to her, her father was a devout Christian who loved the church, but when he became ill, the illness left their finances very depleted.
Following his death, the church insisted that the family must pay his outstanding debts before he can be buried, despite being aware of his illness and financial difficulties.

A Nigerian man has cancelled his proposed wedding after his fiancee insists on having an extravagant wedding that will cost N17 million.
The man, who shared his story anonymously with self-styled relationship counselor, Wizarab, revealed that he got engaged to his lover on Valentine’s day and planned to marry her between September to December, with a N6 million wedding budget.
His fiancée, on the other hand, insists on an extravagant wedding that would be covered by the biggest wedding blog in Nigeria. According to him, her suggested wedding gown alone costs about N800,000, and the total wedding cost is around N17 million.
He stated that he cannot afford to spend so much on his wedding alone and gave his fiancée the option of paying the remaining N11m or canceling the wedding. However, she maintained her stance, and he has now made the hard decision to call off the wedding.
“I engaged my girl on Feb. 14 and now we are planning for the wedding for sept/dec the problem now is that my budget is N6m she is saying it is too small while her own budget is about N17m I don’t have a problem with that if she is going to balance it up. She says it is my responsibility or else the wedding is off.
She wants a glamorous wedding like those bella naija types. Only the wedding gown is about N820k, she is trying to gaslight me saying she knows I have the capacity I am just being stingy. And I have told her I am not going above my budget cause my 2nd house is still under construction and business is going smooth as before.

A Nigerian lawyer has shared how he lost his baby after a security man refused to grant them entry into a gated street where their hospital is located.
The lawyer, identified as Adam Muhammed Ndakudu, took to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to recount the heartbreaking incident on Sunday, August 13, in response to a tweet about how residents put gates on roads built by the government.
He revealed that in 2021, he was rushing his newborn to a hospital at night, but the security guard stationed at the street’s gate refused to unlock the gate to allow him entry to the health facility. Sadly, his son died before they arrived at the hospital due to the delay.
“One of the reasons I lost my baby in 2021 was because the dirty security man insisted that it was late and refused to open the gate for us to access the hospital in the next street. After much plea that we’re carrying a dying new born, this guy refused until I came down from the vehicle to change it for him before he opened the gate. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it to the hospital. The next day, I went to look for him with the aim of breaking his head with stone. But my friends stopped me.”
BBNaija All Stars housemate, Chukwuemeka Okoye, popularly known as Frodd, lost his cool when the meat in the food he was supposed to eat with Mercy Eke disappeared.

Veteran Nollywood actor,Chinwetalu Agu, has revealed how several objects were removed from his body after he suffered a spiritual attack.
He shared this in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, while speaking on how he was struck with a mysterious ailment.
Recall that in May 2022, the 67-year-old actor took to social media to display the bizarre items he claimed a prophet removed from his body.
Among the items displayed by the veteran actor were cowries, sea stones, pins, keys, bullets, and shattered mirrors.

The Ogun State police force has once again taken into custody Sunday Dosunmu, a persistent car thief, who has repeated the very offense that led to his previous imprisonment.
According to a statement issued by SP Omolola Odutola, the police command’s spokesperson, the individual in question had previously been apprehended by Divisional Police Officer Kemta CSP Adeniyi Adekunle on September 17, 2022, in Olorunsogo, Ogun State, while attempting to steal a parked car.
Odutola further elaborated that on August 12, around 7:30 PM along Eleme in Ogun State, Sunday was caught in the act once more by local youths in the vicinity. He was found using counterfeit master keys to gain unauthorized access to parked cars within the area.

A lot of Nigerians living abroad especially those living in the uk tell very dirty lies and engage in blatant exaggeration of how life is tough abroad. For some it is simply to avoid “billing” and remain largely irresponsible to their family and friends who are not as fortunate as they are.
Don’t get me wrong: Life is incredibly tough in uk, But it is absolute bullshit to give the impression that on the average, it is worse or equal to the hardship in Nigeria. No it is not. And it will never be.
But people living abroad many times exaggerate the harsh reality of life abroad to escape recurrent billing from those at home.
Yes the bills abroad are huge. But at least you can still pay them.
You may not have much left afterwards, but at least you get paid your earning on time, you get paid quite fairly based on how much hard work you put in and more importantly, you can pay your bills.
How do you compare that to a country like Nigeria where people are owed salaries, paid actual peanuts and earn on average far less money than their monthly expenses.
And don’t misunderstand me: I’m not saying there are no exceptionally terrible cases of people who travel abroad, become homeless, turn street beggars and their lives turn out far worse than they left nigeria. Do they exist? Yes. But is this the experience and situation of the vast majority of those who travel abroad? Absolutely not.
But compare it to Nigeria: The average random person is incredibly poor, extremely struggling, possibly jobless or will soon be; underpaid, late-paid or not paid at all; with expenses that far outweigh their income on a monthly basis. For so many Nigerians, this is not the exception, it is now the norm.
And that right there when you compare the last two paragraphs, therein is the point.
Yes life is hard abroad. But it’s not as gory or hellish as some of you deliberately twist it to be and paint it to look.
And to be clear; This is not a defence of dirty entitlement where people feel they have a right to someone else’s money just because “he lives in abroad nau”. Nobody owes you money just because they live abroad. Let’s be clear on that.
However on the other side; If God has been kind to you and put you in a place where you have a little more than you need and make a little more than you spend; pls remember those that are less fortunate than you are. Especially if those people are your family and friends.
As I said earlier; I’m not saying everyone abroad it has it rosy, and for those who are really struggling, I pray things get easy for you.
But for those who make far much more than their expenses, and have a lot to save as extra; it is to you I write this. Try and remember those who are less fortunate than you are.
He that the sun shines on today should remember that the sun may not shine tomorrow.

He tweeted;
“Dude at the barbershop today said he spent $40k on Beyoncé tickets for him & his girl, even showed me the tickets on his phone with the receipt. He works minimum wage, lives with his mom & doesn’t have a car. Only reason he had the $40k is cause his grandpa just died & left him some inheritance. He’s 24 & she’s 21. They’ve been together for less than a year. Pray for this brother.
“Apparently the ONLY thing she wanted was to go see Beyoncé.. she said he didn’t have to get her anything for her birthday, Christmas or valentines as long as she got beyonce tickets. She even said she’d be happy if her just got her a ticket to go by herself. But he got tickets for both of them cause he wanted to share the experience with her.

The American-born player who gained recognition during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia, made this revelation during a recent virtual interview with Pulse in response to a question about who she is crushing on in the Super Eagles team.

Massive congratulations are in order for reality TV star, Chukwuemeka Okoye, popularly known as Frodd, and his wife, Chioma, as they welcome a beautiful baby girl.
Chioma gave birth to their daughter on Friday, August 12. However, Frodd couldn’t be present at the hospital during his wife’s delivery due to his participation in the ongoing reality TV show.
A video shared online shows the heartwarming moment he joyfully shared the news of the birth of his child to his fellow housemates on Friday night, and named the newborn on national TV.
He named her “Adaora Chioma Elena Okoye”, explaining that the choice was influenced by the circumstances surrounding her birth, as the world knew about her before she was born.
This development makes Frodd the first ever housemate to become a parent while in the Big Brother Naija house.
The official handler of his social media account also went online to announce the good news with his fans and followers around the world.
Sharing photos of Chioma in the hospital, they wrote,

Big Brother Naija level-up ‘rider’, Aniekwe Francis Chidi, popularly known as Chizzy, has voiced his skepticism about Princess, the All-Star edition housemate who was evicted and claimed that her partner is a billionaire.
Recall that the entrepreneur explained that her relationship with a billionaire made her unable to get involved in the turmoil in the Big Brother Naija house.
In response to Princess’ assertion, Chizzy stated that anyone dating a rich partner wouldn’t need to sign up for the reality program in order to fight for the N120 million top prize.
He said that if her allegation were accurate, she would have turned down the offer to compete in BBNaija All Stars when organizers emailed her.
Chizzy revealed this during a conversation on the most recent edition of Glitch Africa’s To Be Honest podcast, which Nedu Wazobi co-hosted.
He said;
“If you are dating a billionaire, you don’t have to come to Biggie’s house o. If you are dating a billionaire why are you coming there [reality show]? When Biggie send invitation [saying] ‘I want you to come [to All-Star edition]’, you were supposed to say ‘No, bro, what’s N120m?”
Nigerian singer, Davido’s personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, has offered the sum of N100K to the cyclist who embarked on a journey from Benue to Lagos to see his boss.
The man, identified as @emminuks on Twitter, recently started his journey from Benue State with the goal of cycling from Benue to Lagos to meet the singer.
He was reportedly on the eighth day of his expedition when Davido got wind of his bold decision to ride a bicycle for the long distance in order to see him in person and advised him to turn back and return to Benue State because he is currently not in Lagos.
“Turn around I’m not home,” he replied.
However, Emmiwuks expressed his determination to meet the singer and refused to go back.
Davido, after learning about the fan’s dedication, asked for his bank details and promised to invite him once he was back home.

A former member of the Boko Haram terrorist group, who had reportedly undergone a process of rehabilitation and reintegration, was recently apprehended while en route to Sambisa Forest with the intention of supplying various resources to the Boko Haram terror organization.

A while back, Yhemolee revealed that his parents’ separation almost ruined his and his sister’s lives.
According to him, his parents parted ways when they were still young, so he had to sponsor himself and his sister through school.
He disclosed this in an exclusive interview with popular media personality Chude Jideonwo.
“I saw myself and my sister through school. They [our parents] separated at a point when they could have damaged our lives. My parents were well-to-do. I mean, I went to one of the best schools at that time. But they left us all of a sudden,” he said.
Speaking further, Yhemolee said that last year he reunited his parents during his mom’s birthday and even took them clubbing.
