Two trains have collided head-on in southern Italy, killing at least 11 people and injuring dozens. – Guardian Reports
The crash happened on a single stretch of track running through an olive grove between the towns of Corato and Andria. Both trains were made up of four carriages.
“We are working with dozens of rescue teams to open up the carriages,” said Luca Cari, a spokesman for the fire brigade, adding they had saved a young boy from the wreckage. “The rescue is complicated because this happened in the middle of the countryside.”
Video images showed ambulances responding to the scene with other rescue workers.
The trains were travelling on a single-track line and collided at about 11.30am on a hot summer’s day in the region of Puglia.
There was no immediate reason given for the collision. “We won’t stop until we get a clear explanation over what happened,” the Italian prime minister, Matteo Renzi, told reporters, cutting short a visit to Milan to return to Rome.
A woman has shared hilarious pictures of her ‘husband-less honeymoon‘ after her new spouse was denied a visa for their holiday.
Huma Mobin and her new husband Arsalaan Sever Bhatt, from Lahore, were scheduled to go on a second honeymoon to Greece last month with Mr Bhatt’s parents.
But Ms Mobin’s husband didn’t get a visa in time for the trip. Initially the young woman didn’t want to go without her beloved, but since the entire holiday was already paid for the couple decided she should see the country.
This meant she was left to see the sights with her in-laws for 10 days at Mr Bhatt was left at home in Pakistan. In order to share the trip with Mr Bhatt, she snapped some photos of her time abroad at the destinations she visited.
Rather than smiling and enjoying herself, the young woman posed with a distraught look on her face. In most photos she also had an arm outspread as if hugging her absent husband, making for hilarious holiday snaps.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E. A. Adeboye on Tuesday morning visited the family of the late Assistant Pastor of the Divine Touch Parish of the church, Mrs Eunice Elisha, in Abuja.
The forty-two-year-old mother of seven was murdered in cold blood around Gbazango-West area of Kubwa in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while evangelising last Saturday morning.
Adeboye visited the husband of the deceased, Pastor Olawale Elisha and the family around 6 a.m. to console them.
The wife of the vice president Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, also a pastor of the RCCG, had also paid a condolence visit to the deceased’s husband and children on Sunday afternoon.
The Chairman of the Bwari Arae Council, Hon Musa Dikko, has also visited the late preacher’s family.

I went to the station with my children and when we got there, I saw the lifeless body of my wife at the back of the police van and there, she was taken to the mortuary. The incident happened between 5am and 5:30am because she usually went out by 5am and came back by 6am. I fell down when I saw the body of my wife covered. I cried. I was too tired and could not drive back home. Someone had to drive us back to the house”he said.

Estranged wife of well known man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakilome, Anita Ebodaghe, recently talked about false prophets and insincere soul winners in an article in her blog.
She calls it “Soul Winning”. Read below:
When people talk about winning souls these days, I feel absolutely concerned for the so-called souls. It looks to me like a lion on a breakfast mission, in search for his hunt; he hides behind the grass for an unwise lamb that would wander away from the herd in search of fresh grass. This will be an easy catch and good feast for the lion’s plate.
When I hear these people talk about winning souls, I feel sorry for the souls who have no idea of what they are getting into. It sometimes sounds to me like blood-thirty people desperate to count the number of innocent, ignorant people who will give their blood to be sucked. These souls are classified, as those who are needy, can undoubtedly gullible in their search for solutions and wanting to identify or belong to a community.
These souls are caught when they are most vulnerable maybe they have lost a loved one, in a bad relationship with their parents or family, in need of healing or desperate for a change. At this point they will give anything and do anything without a second thought.
When caught by the wrong hands, they will start running in a wheel. Initially, the souls will be treated with some measure of care, so they do not detach. This will be short lived to prepare them to be trained as unconscious servants. Once the attachment is built, they would start attending endless meetings till they begin to be unavailable for their loved ones and disassociate from their families over time.
These souls will eventually give their energy away and with time they begin to feel tired, unhappy, sick, financially drained and depleted. Unknown to them, this new community and friends maybe superficial. The souls might observe that sweet and bitter method of sucking their blood has gradually robbed them of their self worth. They might realize they have given their energy to somebody else and they are now hanging in the spider’s web.
They are tied up with daily and weekly responsibilities but if you look closely, their main leader is seating in a place of convenience by handling brief monthly meetings (not weekly) or occasional gatherings.
When I hear about souls, I have sympathy for those who give their blood to be sucked. They are simply prey to be used as objects in some people’s game. Incidentally, some of these souls have become wiser in seeking the opportunity to reap the reaper in his own game, like the buffalo who challenges the tiger.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
An aggressive soul winner is hungry like a hunter; he goes with all manner of tools and uses different technique to capture his prey.
Soul winning alone will not take you to heaven; you win a soul by living the God life and your personal interest in bringing somebody to the knowledge of Christ. You have to be in a good frame of mind first, not under fear or compulsion that if you do not win souls you will go to hell. There should be no ulterior motives like getting the soul’s money eventually, you want a position or seeking to be rewarded with treats or awards.
There are people who reach out to others daily not for any earthly reward or to direct the souls to their own churches, for benefits or for any selfish reason. These people recommend and make available other authors, ministers and local assemblies for the interest of the soul alone.
Every man should learn to take care of himself first. He should learn to use his initiative and study for himself otherwise he might become somebody’s big catch or ‘meat’. At that point he would have no one to blame.
I have written this for those who have asked me questions on soul winning and their fears.
“And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Mat 24:11-14

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.” 2 Tim3:1-5

Ex-governor of old, Oyo state Dr. Victor Omololu-Olunloyo on Sunday, 10th July 2016, met with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye during the inauguration of the Region 21 church auditorium in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Media reports have it that Dr Victor Olunloyo used the medium to apologize to Pastor Adeboye for his daughter, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo’s verbal attacks on the social media sometimes targeted at Adeboye.
Kemi Olunloyo known for her controversial lifestyle has come out to totally deny the rumour, stating that her father did not apologise to Pastor Adeboye. According to her, Dr Victor did not say anything about her during his meeting with Pastor Adeboye.

‘Ok stop spamming my page Im aware of my father attending Adeboye’s church. Don’t u think I will be first to know? He has not stepped into a church in 35 yrs and is not religious. Pls read what he said to Punch 2013 about Adeboye’s church when defending me on my views of men or God. He simply asked Adeboye to pray for him after I saved him from his past world of ritualism his late mother and concubine introduced him to. My dad is no longer into that. I told my story in a 10 chapter documentary with emotional facts that personally freed me.

A man identified as Maikudi Mohammed from Galambi village in Bauchi has been arrested by the state police command after the severed head of his deceased son was found with him in Misau town.
Spokesperson of the state police command, SP Haruna Mohammed in a statement released today July 11th, said Maikudi was arrested following an intelligence report.
He stated that preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect conspired with his accomplice, Damina Mohammed from Galambi village to carry out the act.
When interrogated, Maikudi confessed that himself and Damina went to the grave of his son who recently died, exhumed his corpse and removed the head so they can sell it to their customer who is currently at large. Police say further investigations into the matter is ongoing.

Popular Nigerian rapper, Reminisce took his fans by surprise as he, few hours ago took to his social media page, to unveil the album art for his fourth studio album entitled “EL-Hadj”.
The post he shared on IG detailed that his fourth studio album will be released in August 2016.
The rap star has already released two singles off the album; the hard hip-hop number “Asalamalekun” and the recently released which he features 2Baba, “Nobody Knows”
The man pictured above is reported to be an illegal immigrant from Zimbabwe who squeezed himself into his friend’s luggage – he shocked people at the South African border when he came out from the traveling box after he couldn’t endure the pains on his limbs.
After 45 minutes of squeezing himself in the box, passengers were shocked at the BeitBridge Border post when they heard moans coming from the bag.
“The tall man in his early 20’s had squeezed himself into the case and was wheeled onto a Mercedes Benz Sprinter, disguised as his friend’s luggage. But the discomfort took its toll after 45 minutes, causing him to wail,” iMzansi reports.
“Shocked passengers alerted authorities after hearing strange noises coming from the unattended bag. Guards removed the case from the vehicle at Beitbridge and were stunned when a human hand emerged.”

Tragedy struck on the beautiful lady seen in the photo above as she lost her husband, 33 year old Lavell Mann, and their two children, Logan Mann, 3, and 9-month-old Legend Mann in a collision, on the 91 Freeway in Artesia early Saturday morning July 9th in California.

‘A red Jeep was traveling in the No. 3 lane when it rear-ended a gas tanker trunk. That collision sent the red Jeep out of control and into the center median, which caused another collision. The second crash caused the Jeep to overturn; it was hit immediately after that by a BMW sedan. All three occupants of the Jeep died in the crash’ police said
We reported earlier that Iyanya has made plans to leave the record label he co-owns with Ubi Franklin, Made Men Music group. He took to his social media page earlier to say:
“I’ll be launching my new label and new album soon”
His new motion has caused on a stir on Nigerian social media as fans and their colleagues have wade in on the issue.
Ubi and Franklin set up the record label five years ago where they have Tekno, Selebobo, Mr Chibbz, and Tonye Garrick signed as their recording artistes.

Writer, Joey Akan reports that Iyanya’s announcement is the culmination of a long period of incessant in-fighting and clash of decisions. Ubi and Iyanya, have been at loggerheads over finances and a lot of other key decisions on the running of the label.
Financial mismanagement issues are also a huge part of the disagreement. Iyanya and Ubi have long not seen eye to eye over the remittance of booking and appearance fees.
Reports have it that there have been concerns over Ubi’s handling of the business finances. However, things got worse during and after Ubi’s celebrity wedding to Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro, in November 2015. It is believed that Iyanya is not in favour of the union, and the effect it has o n the business.

Active management of the record label has been shifted to Paul, a staff of the record label, who now handles day-to-day management of the record label, and also is directly involved with booking fees and performances.
Tekno and management (Ubi), were last week, called out by a certain Canadian show promoter, Bless Ehannire, for not showing up for an agreed show as at when expected.
The Islamic Cleric who ordered young men to chase away RCCG Deaconess Eunice Olawale, while she was evangelizing has been reportedly arrested.
A police source who was spoken to today in Abuja, revealed that the self-professed peace loving Imam reportedly ordered some boys to scare the preacher away from the front of the mosque in Kubwa early Saturday morning but the young men took law into their own hands and stoned Mrs Olawale to death.
The Islamic cleric (name withheld by request) told Police he never ordered his boys to kill the preacher. He however admitted that he was the one who sent them to chase her away.
The spokesman Anjuguri Manzah for Abuja Police command said an investigation has started on the barbaric way in which the RCCG’s Pastor’s wife was murdered. He promised to make the outcome of the investigation public soon.
6 suspects are currently in police detention in connection with Deaconess Eunice Olawale’s murder.
She alleged in a narration how the pastor allegedly killed a cop in 1971, thinking it was a robber. However, during the inauguration of the RCCG’s second largest church auditorium by Region 21 in Oyo state, on July 10, Mr Omololu Olunloyo met with Pastor Adeboye to apologize for his daughter’s verbal attacks on the social media.
The octogenarian described his daughter’s behaviour as utterly irresponsible, libelous and repeatedly painful to him and the whole family.
He added that he and the entire family disassociate themselves from such act. In response, Pastor E.A. Adeboye said: ‘I’m not sure of what you are talking about. It’s just good to see another great citizen of Nigeria who served his people during his time.’
The ex governor later asked Pastor Adeboye to pray for him which he gladly did.
