Controversial music artiste, Brymo, has become the rave of the moment on Twitter after he shared a questionable and displeasing tweet hours ago,

“Black man suffers at home, black man suffers abroad. Black man suffers everywhere, black man likes to suffer.” – was what Brymo which has caused a stir on Twitter right now!

Tweeps are describing his quote with its timing as illogical, considering the fact that he tweeted it in the aftermath of the loss of two lives of innocent black men in the US, in attacks carried out by Police Officers believed to be racist.

Brymo says black people need to sit up. Music by black artistes should stop being about swag and champagne and hoes.

“Blacks need to make it a point to preach value in all that we do, not everyday money money money. Black people feel helpless but we are not.. We are lazy and illogical!! On the grounds that we don’t solve our problems, we just play blame games… It’s in our homes and work place.”

However, Nigerians don’t give a hoot about his opinions as they’ve gone all ballistic on him with their tweets, some of them he responded to.

A Cherubim and Seraphim church, Ebenezer Model Parish, located at Abiola Way, Abeokuta, Ogun state yesterday reportedly gave their church premises to their Muslim neighbors to have their Eid prayers.

The C&S church were said to have also given the Muslim faithfuls their sound system.

Now the question on everyone’s lips is that will they(Muslims) do the same if a Church were in their shoes?

The debonair male singer who took to his IG page earlier, this morning to wish media personality, Toolz, a happy birthday, also shared this dapper looking image of himself and movie veteran, RMD.

The singer sounded excited as he captioned the photo:

As most people probably know, I’m currently on set filming a movie called “The Wedding Party”. In it, my Egbon @mofedamijo plays my Dad. Now, please pardon me, but this is SUCH a big deal to me… I grew up watching RMD on tv. He’s like my own personal Denzel Washington. And I can tell you this, he’s just as cool, if not cooler, in real life as he is on camera. I kid you not. Very much a legend and an icon of Nigerian Entertainment, Still at the very top of his game decades later, every bit the consummate professional and somehow he remains the nicest guy. I’ve only ever been star struck twice in Africa : the day I met JayJay Okocha, and the day I met RMD.
So it’s even a bigger deal to me to actually get to work with him in this capacity… and it been amazing.

People have found this job ad by a Lekki based TV Production company despicable after it specifically requested for light skinned girls as TV presenters for the company.

Nigerians in no time, raided the tweet with brutal responses but to the surprise of many, the tweep, who shared the tweet ad, after a while sounded like he cared less of the fierce and harsh comments being thrown at him as he amused himself with the amount of applications he had received in less than 4 hours.

Nollywood actor, Femi Branch moments ago, shared an emotional video on his Instagram page after he learnt of the demise of veteran actress, Bukky Ajayi.

In the short video he shared, the actor said that after he heard she had died, he took out his phone to call her only to find out that he didn’t have her number on his phone.

As shown in the video, he felt so ashamed. He then asked his fellow Nollywood colleagues to try to reach out to each other more often.

He is quoted as saying:

“I just found out that Aunty has passed on and I picked up my phone immediately to call her and I couldn’t find her number and I felt so ashamed and this is what happens to us a whole lot of times especially in this profession.

When work brings us together, we dance, we rejoice, we celebrate, we play. If you see us at that moment you would think we reach out to each other everyday and we relate so well but once we have left that location, that is it. We hardly relate with each other only to find out things about ourselves on the passages of newspapers, blogs.. We need to reach out more”he said

Man Travelling For Sister’s Burial Allegedly Killed by Policemen in Lagos, Son Narrates Story

“Mr francis Ebonyi Ogbole was travelling to Benue State for the burial of his junior sister, on his way to the Iddo park, Oyingbo, Lagos State, escorted by his children which makes four people in the car, they were stopped by stop-and-search policemen with metro police van registration number KSF-176 EE

“The policeman requested for all the necessary papers which he presented, then he was entering his car then a policeman, Sergeant Matthew Oche with force number F/NO-372727, said no he cant leave now cause the back glass of his car is tinted.

“Mr. Francis however told him that its was because its still early and dark, around 5:30a.m, that the glass is not tinted, but the policeman was looking for a way to extort money from him. Out of anger, the policeman pushed him and he fell, broke his head and died instantly.”

Nollywood actress and ex TV newscaster, Bukky Ajayi passed on on the early hours of Wednesday, 6th of July, 2016, after she had battled with heart-related issues.

It’d just been five months after the late actress celebrated her 82nd birthday with her relatives.

The veteran actress was honoured with an ‘Industry Merit Award’ at the AMVCAs 2016 where she gave a quite emotional speech which resulted to a standing ovation at the event – her moment – one many believe is the most touching in AMVCA history.

Veteran Actress, Bukky Ajayi passed away at the age of 82 at her residence in Lagos yesterday and she has been buried according to Islamic rites.

Actor Richard Mofe Damijo paid an emotional tribute to the late veteran, apologizing for delaying his plan to visit her. He wrote:

“Aunty Bukks, I am sorry. Sorry I did NOT visit you in your last days, not because I didn’t want to but because I took for granted the gift of life and procrastinated. To think that I spoke to Abounce kunle your son (whom I share the TV series Hush with where he is such a star now as Ruffy Jackson. Taking after you) several days ago to ask for the best time to come see you…if I knew it was time I would have come that very day to see you but who would have thought that the bold, strong Aunty Bukks who has consistently defied every circumstance and risen above every situation will go to sleep so soon.
It is my birthday today and as I sit here writing you, I can only think how ironic it is that you have completed the circle of life.

Over the weekend, Social media was awash with stories of a secret registry wedding between Afropop star Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, AKA D Banj, also popular as Kokomaster and 24 year Old DiDi Kilglow who is half American, half Nigerian and South African..

However, The music star camp has debunked the news of his wedding to an half caste lover as a mere figments of the peddlers’ imaginations.

The Kokomaster, speaking through his manager, Frank, in a telephone chat on Monday, said there was no marriage at all not to talk of a secret wedding. See the official statement after the cut:

“D’Banj didn’t do any secret wedding. He had a private event meant for only few family and friends and how that turned to a marriage ceremony is what I don’t know. Yesterday, Nollywood legend Bukky Ajayi passed on after a brief illness.

According to Sahara Reporters, Ajayi may have died of a heart related illness.

The actress who studied at the Stanislavsky Institute of Drama, London, made her debut outing in 70’s classic, ‘Village Headmaster’, and from there she starred in top movies that helped shape the industry, including ‘Checkmate’, ‘Diamond Ring’ and ‘Thunderbolt: Magun’.

At the last Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, the actress was honoured with an Industry Merit Award.

She was 82.

While movie enthusiasts mourn the amazon, she is being buried today, in Lagos, according to Islamic rites.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Bukky Ajayi has passed on. Here are some memorable things you need to know about the late actress.

1. She was born a christian but converted to Islam in the early eighties and chose the name Zainab.

2. Her love for the theatre started as a young girl when her father used to take her to the cinemas.

3. She studied in England. She was abroad for six years, as a Federal government scholar.

4. She left England and came back to Nigeria after her education in 1965 and started out working in Nigeria
Television Authority(NTA) as a presentation assistant in 1966.

5. Afterwards, she became a presenter and then a news reader.She presented a couple of children’s programmes and ‘Nigerian’s Sketches,’ a programme which was all about Nigerian culture, and Diran Ajijedidun of blessed memory was her producer.

6. She was later transferred to Port Harcourt and later back to Lagos, and it was at that time she started her acting career.

Woman Beats And Blinds 12-Year-Old Houseboy In Lagos

A 12 year old houseboy, identified simply as Peter, has been blinded by his ‘madam’ at the Ikeja area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that residents, who could no longer stand the violence meted out on the boy by his ‘madam,’ decided to raise the alarm. The latest cruelty meted out on Peter, leading to injuring in his eyes, was said to be over improper washing of kettle.

The yet to be identified woman resides at No. 14 b, Olu Akerele Street, Balogun Bus Stop off Awolowo Way, Ikeja. According to neighbours, how Peter, a Togolese, was employed by the woman was not clear.

What is clear, however, is that Peter was always being subjected to constant beating. A resident, who gave her name simply as Tayo, said: “We feared the unexpected with the manner the woman used to beat the boy. He has a deep sore on his leg. When I asked him about it, he said it was from burnt from fire. He said the swollen eye was caused by beating from his madam for not washing a kettle properly.“ He has been subjected to violence for a long time. You know everybody used to mind his or her business in the compound.

When I saw the boy last, he was looking sickly. Hence I decided to seek help from the appropriate agency.” Another resident, who pleaded anonymity, said the woman was well known for being violent. He said everyone on the street used to keep the woman at arm’s length . He added: “If the boy comes to watch television with them in the parlor, he would be beaten.

On school days, you will see the boy leaving home around 9.30a.m . This is an ideal case of child abuse and child labour. We need the intervention of child protection network in his case.”

When our correspondent visited the compound to seek the woman’s response, the gate was not opened after repeated knocking. The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Dolapo Badmos, was yet to respond to a text message sent to her mobile line on the issue at press time.

News reaching us now confirms that Nollywood veteran actress, Bukky Ajayi has passed on. It’s reported that the octogenarian died earlier this morning.

As at the time of this post, the cause of her death is unknown. The last public appearance was on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, where she received a “Industry Merit Award“.

She was visited at her home on June 15th ,2016 by her colleagues Joke Silva, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw and others.

41 year old, Zoran Jurkovic, from the small eastern Croatian village of Petrovci was listening to his headphones when a thunderstorm formed overhead and after being struck on the head by a bolt, it earthed itself through his penis.

The medics said that it was a miracle that the lightning charge had bypassed Zoran’s chest and missed his heart. At the time he was wearing his work overalls, which included a high visibility jacket and thick old rubber boots.

MailOnline reports that because of the boots, the electricity was not able to earth through his feet, but after striking him on the head doctors claimed that instead of passing through his body – and most likely destroying his internal organs and stopping his heart – the electricity had followed the cables of the headphones.

They said it had then left his body by earthing through his genitals with the help of a small radio clipped to his belt.

The lucky escapee said:

“I saw black clouds and flashes of light appear in the sky and thunder could be heard booming across the nearby fields. I tried to ride faster to get to shelter in time, but I was too late.”

Passers-by driving in a van witnessed the incident and one of them said:

“We were shocked when we saw the man. He was sitting in the rain and steam was coming out of his body.”The bicycle was next to him. We took him in our van and drove him to the hospital. Doctors were also amazed that he was alive.”

Reality TV and self-proclaimed snapchat princess, Kylie Jenner has allegedly dismissed her mum, Kris Jenner of her manager duties.

This comes after she recently reunited with boyfriend Tyga following a brief split.

Radaronline reports that Kylie feels like she’s been ‘left out’ from Kris‘ family priorities recently.

“Kris has been so focused on Rob and Blac’s baby, Kendall‘s modeling and, as always, Kim,” a source said

“Kylie just feels like she doesn’t matter to Kris anymore and she says she wants to look into getting new management.”

It reportedly blew up between the pair when Kris helped start up a spin-off show for Rob and Blac – despite Kylie apparently wanting her own for years.

But according to the site, it reached a head once and for all when Kyle revealed she had reconciled with Tyga last week. When Kylie got back together with Tyga, she had a huge blowout fight with Kris,” the source claimed.
