A woman who is already fed up with the sad reality of her love life, has gone public with her plight in search of respite.
The woman shared her story showing how she has been driven to despair by recurring sad events in her love life.
Below is what she has to say:
I’m a single woman in my 30’s and my problem is that I cannot find a man and I honestly have no idea why. I’m very attractive and all my friends say I’m a nice person. On social media, most men gasp at my curvy shape and take time to ask how I can look so fine, but no one ever approaches me in real life. I’m aware that you can meet a man at any time, not just when you’re out socially on Saturday nights, so I never step out of the house looking anything less than perfect.
I keep to my trim figure, dress nicely, well-groomed and, because I was aware I was being too choosy, I’ve tried hard to give men I don’t even fancy a chance. But now men just don’t seem to find me attractive at all. I don’t get chatted up though I make sure that I look friendly and approachable when i’m out. i’m at my wits’ end and honestly don’t know what else to do.
A man whose girlfriend lied to him has cried out for help after finding out that his girlfriend is HIV positive. He has been having s*x with her without realizing her status and now is afraid he might have contracted the virus.
—–
I am 30 years old man. I met my girlfriend last year and our first time together was on the 8th of December 2011, there was no s*x but we had enough deep kissing, I know I got bad gums that most time when I brush my teeth, I could see blood coming out, we were actually together for 3 days and still no s*x though she gave me oral s*x twice and I didn’t come inside her mouth but on her body. I went to see her again on the 28th of December and on my way there, there was this sudden fever I was experiencing on the train but I was hoping that I should be okay. When we met that night we had a protected s*x for the first time and slept.
Following morning I was so sick and the symptoms are hard fever, rashes, headache, sore throat and swollen gland inside my mouth. I had to call the emergency doctor at night, on getting to the hospital, the doctor collected my urine sample, insert the strip and told me I got infection. He asked me to buy TRIMETHOPRIM, after about 1 week I was okay. During this time when I had the swollen gland and sore throat, we were still kissing a lot.
Our love life continues and as we don’t live in the same town, we only see each other like twice every month. In February 2012, while we are having s*x, the condom burst, I noticed immediately and told her, she quickly push me away and asked me to rinse my pen!s with soap and water. I did what she asked me to. I didn’t stay up to 10 seconds inside her when the condom burst and to wash me pen!s everything happen in less than 1 minute. I asked what was happening and she told me she once got STD and she is still treating herself, I was keen about the particular one and she said Chlamydia.
Two weeks later, after kissing and oral, at the start of vaginal s*x, the condom breaks again and only my pen!s went inside and I pulled out back immediately, I didn’t wash my pen!s, I just changed the condom and we had s*x. I didn’t feel any signs or symptoms but I went to see my doctor to test for STD, he did the test and told me I am okay and free of all kinds of STD. He even sent my urine to the laboratory for further test and the result came back normal.
I proposed to my girlfriend 2 weeks ago so that we can get married, she was just crying, I thought she was over-joy but later she told me she needs to confess and she lied in the past. When she told me she is HIV+, the shock nearly killed me and my breathing was above normal, I later calm myself down and handle the situation maturely so that she can feel secured. I got totally confused because I know we have had contact twice and kissing and oral are also there. We have had s*x 10 times in total and all with condom, I always withdraw my pen!s, remove the condom with my right hand, and wank myself with the same right hand on her body. I have also come in her mouth once.
Now to my questions, even though my girlfriend always make sure i wear a condom before we have s*x, I am so worried about my bad gums and the contact we have had together. She told me she was diagnosed in January 2011 and up till now she has not started taking any Anti-HIV medicine as the doctor told her she doesn’t need it for now but maybe in the next 10 to 20 years.
Is there any HIV virus like that? Even though I feel no symptoms but am I HIV+ already? Ever since she told me, I have been going through this stress and anxiety and I actually don’t know what to do. Please help.
Ex-Super Eagles coach and member of the NFF technical crew Amodu Shuaibu, who passed away in the early hours of today, June 11, at the age of 58 due to heart problem has been buried.
Chief Imam in Auchi prayed for him before he was Buried.
Fresh information are filtering in about the death of Amodu Shuaibu, 58, former Super Eagles coach who also doubled as Nigerian Football Federation’s technical director.
The adored coach who died earlier this morning (Saturday, June 11) in Benin city and is being buried in Okpella this afternoon, was frustrated, being owed his entitlement by Edo state and NFF, and could hardly cater for his family.
And family sources claimed that economic depression on account of the non- payment of his entitlement possibly led to hypertension and heart problems.
The former coach was said to have complained of chest pain in the night of Friday, June 10. Only for him to die in his sleep. And earlier on Friday, he was worried about his skyrocketing blood pressure which read 140/100.
There are reports that he even signed the condolence register of Stephen Keshi (who died on Tuesday, June 7 evening of cardiac arrest and broken heart) in Benin yesterday.
Amodu Shuaibu was said to have gone to Benin from Okpella to see if he could get some of the money owed him by the state government ( he served as a director of the state youth football development agency and resigned only last year).
Only few Nigerian celebrities are not tattoo-freak and some of those who have several designs on various parts of their bodies are wallowing in regrets and that is the case of popular actress, Kemi Afolabi.
According to her, she tattooed her body out of youthful exuberance,”That was youthful exuberance. I got the tattoo before I became an actress. When I was in UNILAG, there was a woman who owned a boutique in school and she wanted me to be the face of the boutique. We were taking pictures when a guy that had a tattoo shop there told me that if I had a tiny tattoo somewhere on my body, it would fit me especially if I wore a spaghetti top. That was when I did it and I regret it now”, she plainly admitted.
When asked why regrets it, the light skinned Yoruba actress said, “it is because I am not that type of person. I do not really like it but I was too naïve then. I am very lucky about where it is. If it was on my hand, it would show every day but as it is on my chest, it is not too conspicuous. It is not every time that I open my chest and I am very lucky because most times when I am acting, the clothes I wear cover it up. It is quite tiny so even if I have to show some flesh, it can be concealed.”
She has also considered removing it,”Yes I have but someone told me that the mark would never go. They say that it would only be covered and what they told me was not too encouraging, so I just left it.”
Light-skinned Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh shared more photos on her Instagram handle as she celebrated her birthday that was organized by her hubby who happens to be the nephew of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.
The birthday came as a surprise to her, as she tendered this lovely message to her husband. Read below and checkout more photos of the event as shared by the former DB records music artiste:

Tonto DIkeh and Friends Doing The Dab During Her Surprise Birthday party
A Christian Whatsapp group has begun a campaign against the very popular dab dance which has over-taken the entire world of entertainment.
According to the group, the dance which they have alleged to mean ‘Demonstarting Antichrist’s Bow’ (DAB) is a creation from the underworld to sway men and women into the kingdom of the devil.
Nigerians are still trying to come to terms with the death of Amodu Shuaibu, ex-coach of the Super Eagles and technical adviser to the Nigeria Football Federation. The NFF had announced the death of Amodu Shuaibu in the early hours of today, June 11.

She had her break in Ifeanyi Ogbonna’s film, Sincerity, acting alongside top notch acts like Oge Okoye, Yemi Black and Nonso Diobi, Angela Okorie has continued to grow from strength to strength.
Born and raised in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, the Ishiago, Ebonyi State indigene recalls how her acting career began and talks about her marriage and new projects in this chat with Anibeze Sylvester sand Chioma Okoli.
Excerpts:
What is new about Angela Okorie? We are still doing what we know how to do best. Presently, I am filming on the Island (Lagos Island), and it’s all about violence against women, and also women that are not happy in their marriages. We are talking about domestic violence.
At what point did you discover your talent for acting? I have been in the game for five years plus. I was a model before acting happened. It all started when I followed a friend to location and it turned out they needed a pretty girl for a character, and I just fitted into the role seamlessly. However, since I wasn’t an actress, I was not very keen but they insisted. So, I said ‘okay, guys just give me some time to think about this’. A week after, my friend was like ‘Angela, you have to do this’ and that was it.
Do you still model? I still do but not really runway stuff and billboards; but if the pay is right, I will definitely do it. Aside acting, what other creative sides do you have? (Laughter) Well, I sing. While growing up I sang in church. I grew up in a Christian home and I was always singing even at home. But when I went into modeling, I left the music part of me. However, I had recorded some songs before I started modeling. I still have my catalogue of songs.
Any plans of going into music? (Laughter) I don’t know. You know, I am very unpredictable. I could just wake up one morning and start singing. The truth is that the things that have actually worked for me are not the ones I planned for. What has been your most challenging role? That was the role of a vampire. You know, acting is a make belief; you have to put yourself into the character in order to make the best of it. It was very challenging but trust me, I gave it my all and it was like dynamite! It is entitled ‘Royal Vampire’. Maybe, you should go see it because it is very interesting. Prince Ike Olisa produced it. Is it true that you were involved in a theft scandal a while ago? Well, it’s an old gist. The guy I took to South Africa to shoot a movie blackmailed me in order to get some money off me. His name is Prince Eke, but he has apologised. He did that when I was on set with Mr Ibu in Oba Town. He came around with a couple of people; I think they were about 15 and he apologised. He said he was sorry and that it was the devil that pushed him and all that. Well, it is an old story now and I have forgotten about it. How did you meet your husband? (Laughter) Sorry, I didn’t just get married. We have been married for 10 years, and my son is five. A while ago, you posted a message on Instagram that you were open to relationship, how true is it? I don’t post such things on my wall, please. Anything about my family and my home is off media. I don’t want to bring my family to the media. Your fans would like to know, have you broken up with your husband? Why? Why do they want to know? Were they there when he ‘toasted’ me? Were they there when we got engaged and married? They weren’t there so they shouldn’t ask such questions. I have told you before that I am very different. You understand what I am trying to say? Most times I don’t grant interviews because when I do, they write other things. However, there are things I don’t want the media to know about. If I want you to know, I will post it and you will read it. If you watch, most of the things they write about me are the things I posted. If I don’t post it you cannot write. My life is my life, and the media is the media. My acting career and my family are two different things all together. I won’t bring my family or anything personal to the media, so my fans should just keep watching (laughter). What new projects are you working on? When you mentioned the theft scandal, it happened when I went to shoot my film in South Africa. I took most of the artists from here. I did visas, bought tickets and flew them to South Africa for the film. A South African star was also on the job. I just shot a movie in the United States, and it is coming out soon. I am working on doing back-to-back, like five films at a stretch. Who are your role models in Nollywood? Wow! I look up to Genevieve (Nnaji), Omotola (Jalade-Ekeinde), Ramsey (Nouah), Pete Edochie and a lot of other great acts.
Earlier this morning, we reported of yet another Ex-Super eagles coach who passed on in his sleep. Nigerians on twitter have in no time wasted, reacted to this report of the NFF Technical Director, Amodu Shuaibu.
His death, as reported, comes precisely three days after the death of another ex-Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi. It was reported that the deceased complained of chest pains on Friday night and died in his sleep.

Fresh from winning the UEFA Champions League 2016, with his Real Madrid team, Cristiano Ronaldo, one who is probable to win the 2016 Ballon D’or says if his achievements are considered, then he’s the best player of the last two decades.

The football star is on international duty with Portugal ahead of their Euro 2016 opener against Iceland on Tuesday, and says he is “proud” to be an “inspiration” to Portuguese people.
“I feel like I’m a citizen of the world, but also a Portuguese man who loves where he comes from and is proud to represent my country at the highest level. So a Kenyan writer who was in the country for a few days revealed her observations on some reasons the women in her own country fall for Nigerian men.
Below is her article:
“Kenyan women love foreign men. That is an open secret. The further a dude is from Kenya, the better. Tanzania and Uganda is not ‘foreign’. Nigeria and anywhere in West Africa is. But foreign men think Kenyan women are cheapskates.
Our girls will bend all the rules to please Naija men. They don’t mind dropping their ‘feminism’ guns when a Naija bro comes knocking.
Take this example. A month ago, a video featuring a half-naked Kenyan girl dancing seductively for a man with a heavy Nigerian accent (who could only be heard in the background) went viral.
‘Shiro,’ the dancing queen, was dropping it like it’s hot, shaking what her mama gave her to the joy of her man who couldn’t hide his excitement.
“Turn, Shiro, turn!” Oga shouted in the typical Nigerian accent that made the word ‘turn,’ sound like ‘ton,’ as he encouraged the enthusiastic dancer to let loose in the four-minute clip, which he promised to delete after the show.
Trust me, if the man in question was a Kasyoki, Kamande or Ondiek, Kenyan women would have taken to the streets to protest.
Remember the controversial Nairobi-based Nigerian businessman Anthony Chinedu?
Before he was deported in 2013, he was quoted as saying, “We are doing Kenya a favour by marrying their women. I have never heard of a Kenyan man marrying a Nigerian…”
This led to a debate pegged on why Kenyan women fall head-over-heels for Nigerian men.
This writer spent a few days in Nigeria which gave her an opportunity to observe the Naija brodas, some of whom pointedly declared that it’s “cheaper” to maintain a Kenyan woman than a Naija one.
But are Kenyan women really cheap in the eyes of foreign men? Maybe, if you ask those Nigerian brodas our sisters love to bits. And this is why they are cheap according to the Ogas:
They are easy ‘chips funga’
For most Nigerian men, wooing their women is a ceremony. Damilola Sonji spent four years in Kenya and thinks wooing a Kenyan woman is much easier and cheaper than a Nigerian, since it’s hard getting as many one-night stands from them as he got in Kenya.
You see, a Kenyan woman is very different. You can meet in a nightclub and end up with her in your house without any expectations. Naija girls, on the other hand, expect you to bring down heavens for them. You might even end up buying a house for her before you can take her to bed,” claimed Damilola.
Desperate for cheap beer
While Kenyan women easily drown bottles of stouts (without mixing with soda), a Nigerian will only swill stout drinks at her local. The moment a Nigerian mama saunters into a club, there is man already ordering drinks for her. And it’s that dark and bitter ‘engine oil.’
Diana Bada, a Russia-born Nigerian musician, who was in Kenya for a month agrees that Kenyan women are, indeed, different.
“In Nigeria, it’s almost obvious that women don’t spend women in a nightclub. Our men take care of us and that’s their responsibility. It does not necessarily mean that you will go home and sleep with him. It’s just our culture,” said the musician who performed at Ole Sereni in Nairobi, in Kilifi and in Mombasa.
Diana says that she was shocked to see her friend panic when one of their Nigerian friends volunteered to drop them home.
“We went to eat at a Nigerian restaurant and it turned out that the owners knew my friend. They therefore offered us a car to drop us home and save us taxi money. We were even given clothes by the people who also own a fashion house. My friend almost had a heart attack thinking the man wanted more. It took a lot of convincing for her to realise that that’s how women are treated in Nigeria,” Diana told The Nairobian.
Sponsor mentality
Socialites have single-handedly convinced young girls that there is good life in Nigeria. In fact, nowadays most local girls are posing nude online, showing off their butts hoping someone in Lagos will take note and fly them out.
Nigerian musician, General Pipe, claims it’s not always as rosy as it seems in Nigeria, but is shocked at the lengths Kenyan women go just to bag a Nigerian man.
“I know one Kenyan socialite whose first visit to Nigeria was disastrous. She almost slept on the streets, but was rescued by a fellow Kenyan. She spent the rest of her days cosying up with any man with a nice pair of shoes.
Naija babes can make you pay for their flight to your country and never show up because they will somehow find a way to sell the ticket!” said the musician who lived in Kenya in 2012.
Kenyan women think it’s a badge of honour to sleep with a foreigner after knowing their surname. Folorunsho Agbede, a Nigerian teacher who was in the country for only a week, says she was shocked at the activities that went on in the hotel she was staying.
“It was a conference for Nigerian and Kenyan teachers and we were staying at a high-end hotel near Valley Road in Nairobi.
I noticed that our Kenyan female counterparts were sharing rooms with our Nigerian male colleagues just two days after we met. I know some of these men are married back at home, so this really came as a shocker. I’m not saying that we are perfect, maybe we are just difficult,” said Folorunsho.
They have low self-esteem
Kenyan women are not as confident as their Naija counterparts. Kenyan lasses are also more reserved. Olamide Ojuon, a Nairobi-based gym instructor, says he would date a Kenyan girl, but never marry one.
“I just feel that Kenyan girls are not confident. I wish I could show you the messages I get from girls I have broken up with and how they react. They always ask where they went wrong. If a woman is confident, she should know that she is beautiful and a man who leaves her is the loser.
I want an aggressive woman. I want to chase someone so when I get them, I won’t want to lose them. Maybe I can just find that back home,” he said.
They are willing breadwinners
A never-do-well Nigerian man can find a local lass who can take care of his bills, but for Nigerian women, that is a no-no. “A man should provide for you, your friends and family if possible,” reasons Chike Adobi.
“That’s his responsibility. For a Naija babe to get with a man, he must be willing to chop money.
Isn’t that the same in Kenya? No romance without finance, right?” she asked, but things are not the same here for some women who are willing breadwinners.
Kenyan girls marry ‘anyone’
Apart from a few cases of influential families, Kenyan girls easily get married to whoever they fancy and her family only get to know when she has three kids who are about to register as voters!
However, when a Naija girl shows interest in a man, her family starts researching his background.
“Marriage in Nigeria is a very big deal and that’s why women and men don’t rush into it. When a girl shows interest in a man, the family starts snooping just to find out his background. That’s why Naija girls are very choosy,” Nigerian musician Flavor told The Nairobian in a previous interview to explain why he was still single.
This certainly was when the going was good… isn’t it ironical that these two couples marital lives went amiss? And they looked like the perfect couples here in this throwback.
Toke’s marital mishap came early last year when she discovered her husband’s infidelity and she’s since then, been single and has been a topic of “Go and find your husband” ever since.
Tiwa, on the other hand, had her marital controversy few months and it still is a talk of so many mouths on Social media.
This then, was friends & family gathered at a Wedding dinner in Lagos held in honour of the couple, Mr & Mrs. Ayida.
Precisely three days after former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, passed on, it’s being reported that another Nigerian football icon, Amodu Shuaibu has died.

Stunning actress cum mother of one, Tonto Dikeh, was a year older, 31, on the 9th of June, 2016 and her lovely husband, Mr. Churchill threw her a surprise birthday party.
She gushed over her beau by sharing:

Although, we can’t say precisely if her message was aimed at her man cause she just captioned it:
@tarajiphenson I just love you #foodforthought
we sure know that something woulda come up for her to post such and one of those somethings just might be Flavour… Just saying!
World’s shortest couple – who both measure less then three feet tall – have proven that size doesn’t matter when it comes to love.
Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Hoshino, from Brazil, both have forms of dwarfism and stand at 34.8in and 35.2in respectively.
The pair, who hope to enter the Guinness Book of World Records, said they met on a social media website ten years ago and started chatting on MSN Messenger.
Paulo, 30, who has a rare genetic condition called diastrophic dysplasia dwarfism, said it was love at first sight for him.
‘I found her very beautiful from the first moment I saw her,’ he said
But the attraction wasn’t mutual. Katyucia, 26, who has achondroplasia dwarfism, which affects bone growth, initially blocked him on the instant messaging site.
She said:
‘The first time I started talking to Paulo, he was really annoying. He had cheap-pick up lines.’
Paulo, who works as a legal secretary, said:
‘She thought I was trying to flirt but I was just being nice. According to her I was a really boring guy.’
That would have been the end of the matter, if Katyucia hadn’t suddenly decided to unblock him 18 months later.
Katyucia, who now owns her own beauty salon that has been specially adapted for her size, said:
‘One day something happened in my head and I went and unblocked him. By then he was already more relatable.’
Paulo said:
‘When she unblocked me, it didn’t take me more than a minute to say hello. we started speaking and she said I was more civilised.’
Two months later, Paulo travelled more than 186 milies to Katyucia’s home city of Londrina to meet her.He said he was bowled over by Katyucia’s beauty, but she was shy and unimpressed with his dress sense.
Paulo said:
‘What most attracted me to her, besides her beauty, was how sweet she was. It was her sweet personality.’
The beautician said:
‘He was wearing an orange shirt, jeans and sunglasses – thank God it has improved since then.’
Despite Katyucia’s concerns about the long distance between them, five days later the pair started dating and after four years they moved in together.
Katyucia said:
‘I had never dated before so Paulo is my first boyfriend, my first everything.’
Now they say they’re are like any other couple. Paulo has a specially-adapted car to enable him to drive, while Katyucia’s beauty salon has been specially modified for her height.
Paulo, who has ambitions to run for mayor in his home town of Itapeva, said:
‘Basically, we are a normal couple but our height is a little smaller. ‘The best thing about our relationship is our closeness, our companionship we have for each other.
Following the criticisms around her on how who she’s engaged to, Funke Akindele sure looks like she has no worries as she slayed in this astonishing orange for an event last night in London.
The stunning actress was recently apprised by one of her fans via an open letter on the troubles she could face if she’d marry her newly engaged beau, JJC. (See here)
We’re aren’t really bothered though, Funke is a big gurl and she sure can handle herself… Meanwhile, we are so loving this orange dress she donned though.
Foreign pop star, Chris Brown has revealed his rendezvous with the local police in Amsterdam after he was taken in and told to pay a fine.
In a video shared with his fans on Instagram, a quite calm and relaxed Brown explained that he was in a bit of trouble for riding a motorbike “without license plates“.
He said:
“Public service announcement: Kids, do not ride motor vehicles without license plates
“Sorry, we just bought the bikes, forgot about the license plate. yeah. So, we’re handling the situation as is.The police are really nice about it man. I actually like the police out here. Cool as s***, for real.”
The two under 30 drowned UNILAG students, Adesola Olubola Ogunmefun and Funmilayo Odusina, who drowned at the Elegushi beach earlier this week have been laid to rest.
The remains of the deceased were moved to Private Vaults Garden, a section of the Ikoyi Cemetry in Lagos.
At precisely 12:00noon, on Friday, the remains of the two were simultaneously committed to mother earth with their graves not far apart from each other.
