A Gudu Upper Area Court in Abuja on Thursday, sentenced Mr John Okeke to six weeks imprisonment for stealing two cell telephones.
The judge, Alhaji Umar Kagarko, gave an option of fine in the sum of N8, 000 and ordered that the convict should be given six strokes of cane.
Kagarko advised him to desist from criminal activities. Okeke of Area 1, Garki, Abuja, was arraigned on a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass and theft.
Vanguard reports that, the Prosecutor, Kufreabasi Ebong, had told the court that one Friday Ahmed of Wumba Village, Abuja, reported the matter at the Apo Police Station on May 27, 2016.
He said Okeke conspired with one Onye, who is at large, and criminally trespassed into Ahmed’s room and stole one Nokia telephone and one Itel telephone valued at N10, 000 and N7, 000, respectively.
Ebong said that the telephones were recovered from Okeke during police investigations. He said the offence contravened Sections 97, 348 and 288 of the Penal Code. Okeke pleaded guilty and begged for leniency.
Residents of Oke Ota community in the Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos State, on Thursday blocked the Ibeshe Road to protest against the rape and killing of a Ghanaian resident, Grace Obinna, by a man identified simply as Badoo.
PUNCH Metro gathered that apart from 27-year-old Obinna, Badoo had raped two other women in the area, cutting them with knives afterwards.
It was learnt that Badoo, who sneaked into women’s apartments only at night, had also struck in Ilemeren, Abule, Oluwoye, Ibeshe Titun, and other communities around Oke Ota.
It was gathered that the attack on Obinna, a mother of one, which occurred around 1am on Sunday, was Badoo’s latest, which had forced other women to relocate to houses outside the community.
It was gathered that on Sunday, Badoo broke the window into Obinna’s apartment and went into the room of the victim while her husband was away.
The assailant was said to have raped Obinna and hit her head with weapons.
It was learnt that when neighbours and local vigilance group members, who heard the victim’s cries, got to the room, the man had fled, while Obinna and her baby were in a pool of blood.
The publication gathered that the Ghanaian was rushed to two hospitals, but was rejected. She was confirmed dead at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
It was learnt that the matter was reported at the Ipakodo Police Division and the residents added that the suspect had threatened to wreak more havoc in the community.
The panic as it was gathered, prompted the Thursday’s protest, as residents blocked the Ibeshe Road and demanded that security agencies mobilise to the area to arrest the suspect.
When the publication arrived at the scene, the residents, including about 200 women, were seen holding leaves and singing solidarity songs.
The Chairman of the landlords’ association, Pastor Abayomi Adelakun, told PUNCH Metro that the man attempted to rape an 86-year-old woman in the community a week before the Ghanaian fell victim.
He said:
“Two weeks ago, he came to Oke Ota and attacked an 86-year-old grandma. He attempted to rape her, but when she resisted, he injured her in the nose. The woman was rushed to a hospital. She survived the attack.
“On Sunday, around 1am, I was called by a security man that Badoo had raped and brutalised Grace (Obinna), who was a teacher with a nine-month-old baby. When we got to the scene, I could not recognise the lady again. All her teeth had been removed; she was in a pool of blood. She was rejected at two hospitals, but confirmed dead at LASUTH.
“Badoo forces himself into women’s rooms, rapes and brutalises them if they resist. He was doing that in neighbouring communities and has now come to Oke Ota.”.
A resident, who gave her name only as Adenike, said Badoo usually sneaked into women’s apartments naked.
She said:
“We do not know the power this man is using. He does not steal; he only sneaks into women’s rooms and rapes them. After the act, he uses a handkerchief to rub the victim’s private parts. Women, who have seen him at night, said he also rubbed oil on his body and walked naked so that no one could easily hold him. All of us can no longer sleep in our houses.”
The Baale of Oke Ota community, Chief Awoyemi Tijani, told PUNCH Metro that his wife also could not sleep at home because of the attacks.
He said:
, “Nobody has seen him in the daytime. I don’t know what he looks like. We call on the government to guarantee our security and safety. Since the day we heard about this, my wife no longer sleeps at home. I am wondering if Badoo is a spirit.”
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the command had commenced investigation into the incident.
She said:
“The command learnt about the protest, although the incident of rape and murder was never reported at the division. All necessary mercenaries have been set in motion to arrest the culprit and to forestall a recurrence.”
An ex-youth Corps member, Daniel Oluwatobi, who lost his sight while serving as INEC ad hoc staff in Yobe State for the 2011 elections, has been employed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Oluwatobi who served in Yobe State, was said to have lost his sight while on election duty during the 2011 general elections.
Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, recalled that he promised to employ Oluwatobi when he visited the NYSC headquarters to condole with the Director-General, Brig. Gen Sule Kazaure on the death of a youth Corps member, Samuel Okonta.
“Today, we are fulfilling that promise. Oluwatobi has requested to be posted to Ogun State, and to Ogun State he has been posted,” he said.
He then presented the appointment letter to Brig. Gen Kazaure, who in turn handed it over to Oluwatobi.

Nollywood actress cum talk show host, Stella Damasus has disclosed her story of abuse in a new blog post of hers. She says she hoped her story will give other women caught in violent and abusive relationships the courage to seek help.
Her story below:
“A few days ago I was reminded that it was okay to be vulnerable and human. I seem to have forgotten how relaxing it can be to let it all out sometimes, not caring if I would be judged, laughed at or insulted. I had to remember that it was important to share some experiences that may actually save or help someone who is probably going through the same thing.
My story begins on a fun and exciting Saturday night in Lagos Nigeria, where I attended an after party. I met a tall dark and handsome man who was introduced to me through a mutual friend. We spoke for a few minutes, exchanged numbers and then parted ways. I didn’t see or hear from him again until about 6 months later when I got a call on my way to a friend’s private birthday party. He asked where I was and I told him where I was going, so he wanted to meet up at the venue and that was fine.
He came and we continued the conversation that we didn’t get to finish the first time we met. After that night we started seeing each other more often as he would call me and say all the right things, then ask to see me.
So there I was feeling special, thinking that this stud must really like me so much that he had to see me about four times a week. My head was in the clouds because he came to me in a very honest and humble manner, he didn’t have much but was not embarrassed at all because of who I was and what I had. In my head I was thinking “Wow what a confident man”.
Needless to say, I fell for him hopelessly even against advice from everyone around me.
The relationship started and instead of taking time to really study and know him, I decided to give, give and give without thinking twice. I gave time, I gave energy, I gave money, I gave respect, I gave submission, I gave love, I gave honor, and I gave everything a woman would, just to make her man feel important and loved.
I gave money and everything that comes with making a man stand proud and feel wealthy.
I did this so much that even when you ask me a question or want me to appear somewhere I would ask him first or look out for his expression to get approval.
All this was to make him feel like the head, make him feel like the man, make him feel respected and know that his financial status does not make him less of a man, make him feel like he has his authority, and make him feel like he had the best woman any man could ever ask for.
Everyone around me hated the fact that I did more and more to make him happy and then they started noticing that I was loosing my happiness, I was loosing weight, I was loosing myself but the funny thing is that I didn’t even notice. Eventually, I got so angry that I started pushing my friends and family away.
He kept telling me that everyone around me expected me to do better in choosing a man just because he didn’t have money or a job. I bought into that and attacked everyone, telling them that they were being unfair and judgmental. So I made it my job to make sure he had something to do, he had a car, he had his own apartment, he had the latest devices etc.
All of this was to prove everybody wrong so they could see what he could become if we just gave him a chance and helped him.
After a while I started noticing that he became aggressive towards my friends, anyone I introduced him to, people I worked with etc. All of a sudden he didn’t like anybody anymore and didn’t want them around us. Then it all grew into calling me names at the slightest provocation even though I was not sure of what I did to provoke him. He would say things like “I am doing you a favor by being with you”, “how easy do you think it is to find a single guy like me to date a woman with kids”?, “you are too controversial to have a sane man stay with you”, “the only thing you have going is your career other than that you are not really worth it”.
There were stronger names he called me like BITCH and other curse words he would use, but I would rather not even write them.The worst part in all of this is, after hearing these words over and over again I got used to it and even started thinking that he was right.
When he was done insulting me, he would walk up to me and say “see what you made me do, you are the only one who can get me to this point, you know how much I love you so why are you turning me into this monster?”, and yours truly would stupidly start to apologize for making him abuse me mentally.
As far as I was concerned at that time, it was strong love and because he loved me madly, him getting upset with me, made me the monster.
I lived in this lie for a long time and was still too blind to see how awful I started looking and feeling. I didn’t even want to be seen too much so that no one would ask me if I was ill. People would come to me with proof of him cheating but for some silly reason I would make excuses for him. Out of fear of an argument I would not even want to confront him about it. I was so scared that I would ask myself “if you confront him and he leaves out of anger, are you sure you would meet someone else who is better? This was where i started using the phrase THE DEVIL YOU KNOW IS BETTER THAN THE ANGEL YOU DON’T KNOW. Silly silly phrase because the truth is, if you know someone to be a devil you are better off without the person.
Anyway, I stayed in the relationship until one day when he got upset that a guy gave me the card to his hotel because he wanted my band to sing there. He got so mad that he punched the wall in my study. When he did that, it was as if a very thick veil was pulled from my eyes. That was when I realized that the kind of anger that made him punch a wall can even push him to hit me since I was the cause of his anger.
I don’t know if it was the prayers of my mother or my best friend’s, but something gave me courage that day and kept urging me to get him out of my life before it was too late. I yelled for my home staff and they came into the study and I asked them to get him out. I told him boldly never to come near me, my home or my family. That was how God delivered me from my abuser. If he had not punched that wall, I don’t think I would have had the courage to end the relationship.
Sometimes, when women find themselves in an abusive relationship, it’s easy for others to judge them or ask them to just pick up and leave. Even though it’s the right thing to do, it’s not that easy when you are the one in the relationship. Abuse takes a stronghold on the victim and messes up their mental state. If the victim is not careful she may accept the blame and never find the boldness to leave.
It is also worse for those who are not financially independent.
Mental abuse can actually turn out to be worse than physical abuse because with the physical you can prove it, you can also see the scars and they can be treated. Don’t get me wrong it is extremely dangerous to go through it but with mental abuse, there is hardly any proof and no one can see the bruises or the scars so you don’t even know how or what to treat. It may affect you mentally for years and that is scary because it definitely affects any other relationship you may have, if ever.
THE ABUSER’S MODE OF OPERATION
1. Identifies your weakness and uses it to gain your love and trust
2. Tells you the things they know you want to hear.
3. Gets rid of everyone around you who has the ability or capability to help/rescue you
4. Makes you emotionally dependent on him
5. Feeds your mind with things that you will believe are beneficial to your relationship
6. Uses your emotions to control your mind and reasoning
7. Tells you negative things about yourself and repeats it so it sticks in your mind
8. Compares you to others just to prove that you are not worth it and not good enough
9. Gives you the impression that he is doing you a favor by being with you.
10. Blames you for things even when you don’t know about them
11. Yells and picks fights at the slightest provocation
12. Starts to get physical but begs for forgiveness, telling you that his love for you makes you the only person that can get him that mad.
13. Makes you think the abuse is your fault and you have to fix it
14. Intentionally allows you to loose yourself/esteem so that he can gain full control of your mind
15. Batters your mind so much that even when he hits you and there are visible scars, you find yourself making excuses for him
16. You become afraid of the unknown so you stay in the relationship because you don’t want to start over in a new relationship
17. He gets you to the phase where you become numb so you can’t even feel that something is wrong.
t continues like this until something really bad happens or the woman runs away.
The good thing is that there is help and support for women and men going through any form of abuse.

After he was diagnosed with Kidney failure for four years, GourMay Brice has announced on Facebook that she’d be donating her kidney to her husband of 25 years, George Brice.
The womanshared the news on FB, along with a video, asking for people’s prayers. She wrote:
“Almost four years ago my husband was diagnose with kidney failure. Three of those years we waited for family to come forward to help. Doing dialysis at home was overwhelming to me but we did it anyway together. Watching my husband’s body change before me was more than I could bare. So I went and got tested to see if I’m a match.
I’m driving home… And I get the call… You are a match for your husband!! ONLY God did this for us!!! What are the odds of me being an Angel for my husband. Surgery is tomorrow and I’m getting nervous and I’m in need of prayers. I know that the blood of Jesus will cover us and God will watch over our surgeons. So I’m asking you ALL to Keep George Brice & GourMay Brice in your prayers cause we will need them. Thanks!” You have our prayers.
Martin McNally, 29, from Dundee, had enjoyed a night out with girlfriend Nicole and, when they returned home, helped himself to a few more drinks.
He asked Nicole for a mutual friend’s number – and she gave him his own number by mistake.
Every time he tried to call the number, it would beep and send him a message saying he had missed a call.Instead of realizing it was his ow number, he kept texting and calling himself.
He texted the number again and again to let his friend know he was trying to call him, demanding ‘stop phoning me, I’m phoning you‘ – only to receive the same message back.
And the ‘argument‘ lasted for more than five minutes. When he woke up the next morning, Martin discovered a load of calls and text messages – and obviously his friends found this hilarious when he shared the anecdote.
Martin said:
“I was too drunk to realise it was my own number. I must have got frustrated in the end and left it because I didn’t realise what I had done until the next day when I went through my phone calls.When I saw the repeated messages I thought ‘what the hell have I done’. I showed it Nicole and she was laughing at me. She is at uni studying business management so she clearly has the brain cells.
“I thought it was really funny once I realised what I had done and just how long it went on for but at the time it was happening it was so funny, just really confusing and frustrating.
Martin sent five text messages to himself during the argument, receiving the same five ‘in reply’, including “Stop phoning me I’ll phone u lol” and “f**king hell if hud aff [hold off] I’ll phone u“.
Martin said:
“To have been texting and ringing myself repeatedly for more than five minutes and to have been getting frustrated without realising it was my own number is pretty crazy.
“I showed it to all my friends and everyone was laughing at it. They all think it’s hilarious. I’m taking it in good humour though it does show I can be an idiot.
“Though in my defence I’ve never done anything like this before – or at least not that I remember.”

The suspected killers of kidnapped Colonel Samaila Inusa, yesterday opened up on how they killed the later military officer.
The suspects were paraded by Kaduna State Police Commissioner Adamu Ibrahim.Col. Inusa was abducted on the highway and taken away. His body was later found.
Prime suspect Emeka Okeke, 44, told reporters that they did not originally plan to kill the officer but he died during a struggle with the gun.
“Me and my group specialise in car snatching, we are not kidnappers,” Okoke said
According to The Nation, recounting how they attacked the officer, whose identity they did not know, he said:
”One Sunday evening, we were on patrol to snatch any vehicle we saw. It was in the process we saw Colonel Inusa’s vehicle coming from Police College down to Refinery Junction and we collected the car.
“ We immediately handed over the car to Dan-Sokoto and he took it away. Then, we took him to Abuja by-pass. I asked him to lie down and relax his mind, because we were only interested in the car, not his life.
“I told him, you are bigger than this car, and if you live, you will buy another car’. Shortly after then, he said he wanted to drink water, so I went to the car to bring pure water for him. As I bent down to give him the water, the man snatched the gun from me and quickly removed the magazine.
“But one bullet was already in the panel. So, he was holding the gun butt and I was holding the mouth. So, we were dragging the gun. At a point, the gun was facing me and he attempted to pull the trigger, but he could not do that and I succeeded in turning the gun in his direction. He pulled the trigger and fired himself.
“So, I told him, you know I didn’t want to kill you, but you have killed yourself now. But that man nearly killed me.” He said.
Asked where his gang members were when he was dragging the gun with the Colonel, Okeke said, they all ran away.
He added that one week after, they started reading on the pages of newspapers and on social media that the man they killed was a senior military officer.
Asked how much they sold the car, Okeke said: “they gave us N800,000 and we shared.
Okeke and his gang members – Kabir Ibrahim 23, Chijoke Ogwuanye 41 and Ekene Precious 43 – were tracked down in Gonin-Gora area of Kaduna.

The Funeral service for late Henrietta Emumeakpor-Kosoko slated for Regina Mundi, Mushin, Lagos has been cancelled.
Not only that, her remains will also not be interred at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos as earlier released by the burial committee.
According to one of the members of the committee who spoke to encomium.ng under the condition of anonymity, the reason for the cancellation of the Lagos funeral arrangement was not unconnected with the fact that the Henrietta’s family from Delta state insisted that their daughter must not be buried outside.
“It’s true that Henrietta’s remains will no longer be buried in Lagos. Her siblings and other members of her family have insisted they’re not burying her in Lagos as earlier planned by Jide Kosoko.
‘Henrietta is Urhobo woman from Delta state, where they cherish their culture. Jide Kosoko didn’t go to her family house in Delta to pay her dowry,’ the source said.
This decision however didn’t go down well with Jide Kososko but there is nothing he can do about it

Any new thing we should expect from you?
Yes sure! I’m coming up with my own production. It’s going to be a fantastic one. I have been in some new TV series as well as some musical videos, and hopefully more are coming. As you know, I haven’t featured on a music video before, but I had that privilege this year, so it’s something I’m excited about. I have done like two now.
Are you gradually taking a dive into music?
(Laughs) I can’t say but expect the unexpected. Anything can happen, no one can tell. I might decide to give it a trial.
Obviously, this year holds better things for you
Without being told, I know this year would be far better than last year. It’s going to be awesome. I know it would surely get better before the end of the year.
Yoruba actresses seem confined within the indigenous movie circles, do you agree with that?
I do both English and Yoruba movies. I think, in my case, it’s almost the same. This year, I have done majorly English movies. I don’t think I’m confined to only indigenous movies.
You are one of the most beautiful and sought after actresses, what’s your beauty routine?
I don’t do much. I just clean my face and rub whatever I want to rub. But majorly, I take very good care of my face, especially my eyes. I do water, I do lemon and I visit the spa a lot. I don’t take those things serious but I believe that I’m blessed.
What do you do in your spare time?
I read a lot and I also watch news on TV. Whenever I’m not shooting, I try as much as possible to relax at home with family.
Talking about family, are there chances you’ll go back to your ex-husband? (Screams) No. Never! You people have started looking for trouble again. Well, that’s all I can say. Never!
Even for the sake of your son that looks so much like his father?
Please, my son looks like me. He is my replica. So, stop saying otherwise.
When do you intend giving marriage another shot?
I don’t know. Anything can happen. But why not, indeed marriage is a beautiful thing.
What lessons did you learn from your previous marriage?
I have learnt a lot with the experience. I learnt to take things easy. Most of the things I learnt will be applied in any new relationship that I’m going into. I will also make sure I check out some qualities in that man before I go into relationship with him.
What makes you happy?
Peace! I love peace! I love when everything and everyone is at peace, it gives me extra joy. My family at peace, my friends at peace, I’m at peace, then I’m as happy as a bird.
Are you saying you lacked peace in your former marriage?
I didn’t say that oh! But I like peace a lot. When there’s no peace but troubles around me, I run.
Levon Holton-Teamer sent her 15-year-old daughter, a freshman at Wiregrass Ranch High School in Wesley Chapel, to go clean her room on Sunday afternoon, minutes later when the mom didn’t hear any movement in her room, she went to look for her daughter, Tovonna.
Holton-Teamer said Wednesday:
“I go to the bathroom; I couldn’t get in the bathroom. The bathroom light was off so I tried to get in and I looked down and I saw the puddle of blood. I tried to apply the pressure, the pressure to her head. I tried to save her,”
Tovonna had taken her mum’s gun from her mother’s purse and shot herself in the head.
Her mum said 3 hours before her death, Tovonna had expressed concern over a nude picture her friends had taken of her in the shower without her permission.
“Tovonna would say, ‘Mommy, I owe them; I owe them’. I said, ‘What do you mean you owe them?’ I couldn’t understand what was wrong,” Holton-Teamer said.
Hours after Tovonna’s death, her aunt, Angel Scott, took to Facebook to find out why the teenager had killed herself.
Scott learned it was actually a nude video of the girl, taken while she was in the shower not a photo.
“I just said, ‘If anybody knows anything, what happened? Have you heard of anything? Do you know who these kids are who have the pictures?’ I thought it was just pictures and then the kids started inboxing me”.
“Everybody was out there talking about her and calling her names and they said it went up on social media, Snapchat. I’d never heard of that before about 3 something that afternoon,” she said.
The Pasco County School District heard about the bullying complaints and have turned the investigation over to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office to continue to investigate.
Tovonna’s picture had been shared thousands of times on social media with the #stopbullying. The teen’s family is now calling for justice.
The teen’s aunt, Angel Scott said:
“I want them to pay, to feel what we feeling, even if their child is convicted or in trouble they can go visit their child,” Scott said.

President Barack Obama on Thursday endorsed his former top diplomat Hillary Clinton in the campaign to succeed him, throwing his full weight into the 2016 White House race with a video message declaring: “I’m with her.”
Obama’s endorsement comes after a hard fought Democratic primary season, in which Clinton struggled against surprisingly tough leftist rival Bernie Sanders until she finally clinched the nomination just days ago.
“Tens of millions of Americans made their voices heard. Today I just want to add mine,” Obama said in the video.
“I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office.”
“I have seen her judgment. I’ve seen her toughness. I’ve seen her commitment to our values up close,” Obama said of Clinton.
The endorsement was long expected but is nonetheless a shot in the arm to the Clinton campaign and could end concerns about party unity after a bitter contest.
The president earlier hosted Sanders in the Oval Office in a bid to heal those wounds.
Obama’s backing will give Clinton a potent surrogate on the campaign trail. After nearly eight years in the White House, Obama is still one of the country’s most popular politicians.
His approval ratings among black, Hispanic, young and liberal voters are stratospheric.

Clinton’s general election rival, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, cast Obama’s endorsement as motivated by a president who wants to see his policies continued.

Adenike Rodoye, a 44-year-old businesswoman, had lost her 20-year-old marriage to her husband, Durojaiye, because she was always tearing his boxers so as to rape him.
“My wife has turned my boxers to rags as she always tears them to rape me at night,” the man told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos State on Thursday.
According to Vanguard, the president of the court, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, after he had listened to the couple, said that he was convinced that they could no longer live together as husband and wife. Omilola said that he had to dissolve the union after the petitioner had insisted on the divorce.
The president added that several interventions made by him to reconcile them felt on deaf ears.
“This court has no choice than to dissolve the union in spite of the fact that the wife still claims she loves her husband.
“Both parties are no longer husband and wife, as the marriage has broken down totally, they are free to go their separate ways,” Omilola ruled
Earlier, the 56-year-old-petitioner, Durojaiye, alleged that his wife was always threatening his life through beating and that he was afraid she might kill him one day.
“I had to run away from my 22-flat building to rent an apartment elsewhere just to avoid her frequent beatings, but she trailed me to my new apartment to fight me.
“I had reported her in the past to different police stations, but it did not yield any positive result,” he said.
Durojaiye, a pensioner, also alleged that his wife poured hot water on the new wife his family married for him from the village.
He begged the court to end their 20-year-old marriage, saying he was no longer in love with his wife whose actions had continued to endanger his life.
“Please, separate us before my wife kills me, my life is not safe with her, I am a pensioner, I need to enjoy the fruits of my labour,” he said.
However, the wife, Mrs Adenike Rodoye, denied all the allegations levelled against her by her husband. She alleged that her husband was a womaniser.
“My husband runs after anything in skirt; he always sends me packing from the house whenever he wants to bring in another woman. He once sent me out with the children for three years.
“After sending me out, he had married six different women, but none stayed long with him. He was always begging me return to my matrimonial home later,” she said.
The mother of five said she never raped her husband, adding that it was normal for husband and wife to make love.
The respondent also denied ever beating-up her husband but alleged that her husband was always beating her.
Adenike said that her husband removed the plasma television set, the air conditioner and disconnected the electricity supply from her flat, leaving her and the children in the dark.
She said that Durojaiye also fought with her pastor on several occasions and even arrested him with police.
Adenike said that the development led the church’s leadership to ban her from worshipping there.
In order to show-off her hardwork and professionalism, popular Nollywood yoruba actress and movie producer, Fathia Balogun, has decided to go bald for her new movie, “Shola Arikusa” which is currently being shot in Akure.
It was gathered that the the thespian had 15-years ago also gone bald for her own production “Makomi”, which was a hit movie, as the actress and proud mother-of-two is not relenting in bringing out the best character, according to the demands of her job as well as taking her career to the next level.
Speaking on her decision to go bald again, she said: “When I was approached by the director that my role will require me to scrap off my hair totally, I did not think about it twice before I agreed to playing the role since it’s what I have done before. I am a trained actor who can interpret roles and that I am doing on this project too.”
Speaking further when asked if she would not look old fashioned with the new look, the light-skin screen star was quick to note that whether you have grown hair or not, the way you rock them matters a lot. “Going bald now does not mean I would not be fashionable; after this movie check me out on red carpet events,” she said.
