According to TMZ, the Playboy Mansion has been sold. The Holmby Hills estate – owned by Playboy Enterprises – has been bought by Daren Metropoulos, who lives next door to the property.
Hugh Hefner had put the estate on the market for $200 million and while the sale price has not yet been revealed, it has been claimed that it went for over $100 million.
And the buyer has agreed to allow the 90-year-old media mogul to remain in the property until he dies. Daren, whose father is billionaire C. Dean Metropoulos, bought the home next door to the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles for $18 million in 2009.

Popular Nigerian singer and diva, Tiwa Savage had one of the most devastating period of her life and career exactly 40 days ago when her husband, Tunji Balogun popularly known as Teebillz took to his Instagram page to post a series of suicide notes and posts.
In the series of posts shared by Tee Billz via his Instagram page, he made a number of allegations that ranged from Tiwa’s personal life to her relationship with colleagues. Tunji accused Tiwa of treating him ill and also not being faithful to him.
The posts shared by Teebillz became a topic of all and sundry on social media. While some folks blamed him, some others chastised him for washing dirty linen in public.
Tunji Balogun even reportedly wanted to end his life at the Lekki bridge. but for the quick intervention by friends and family, he was prevented.
The accusations took a toll on Tiwa Savage and also threatened her successful career, and she quickly swung into action by calling for an interview where she spoke on the circumstances surrounding their marriage claiming that she was the bread-winner of the family.
She further alleged that TeeBillz was into taking Cocaine which she said she caught him with in ‘her’ house. The interview she granted gave an expose to all of the issues they were having in their marriage and soon afterwards, some folks who blamed Tiwa for being careless started changing opinions.
It’s been 40 days since Teebillz’ rant and it appears that the storm is over as all is calm in their family, although TeeBillz has appeared a lot less in public. A few days ago, Tunji Balogun was spotted looking better and perky at Churchill Bar located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
According to reports, Teebillz is on his road to recovery and has been getting help from some notable people and spiritual help as well from Pastor Ituah Ighodalo and some other men of God, who have been working tirelessly to bring him back to his old cheerful self.
Tunji also got rid of his Instagram account, where the whole drama started from and has since not returned to Social media.
Tiwa Savage alongside her son, Jam Jam travelled to Dubai, where she took a mini vacation to ease her up from the stress. She was also spotted on a number of music video sets where she was working on some videos off her R.E.D album.
New reports- including a video- have just confirmed that singer Terry G attacked the audience at comedian Bash’s comedy show held at the Muson Centre in Lagos last night.
According to Code News, the singer arrived the show visibly under the influence of unknown substances. He hopped on the stage and allegedly began to misbehave.
To stop him from causing further damage, the organizers reportedly informed the disc jockey, who is Jimmy Jatt’s protégé, to turn off Terry G’s music. After that was done, the ‘Totori’ singer went ballistic as the drama degenerated into a physical attack on the DJ.
Read the report:
“The incident took place yesterday, the 5th June 2016, during his performance at Comedian Bash’s comedy show at the Muson Centre, Lagos. His song was allegedly turned off due to his ‘misbehaviour’ on stage and efforts to get him off stage proved abortive.
He was reportedly ‘very high’ and was cursing the audience after so much failed attempt to get their attention. He was quoted as telling the audience that: “We go all go hell fire”, “Ogun go fire una”, “Mother F*cker,” etc, amidst falling on stage several times, as he tried to give an energetic performance.
At a point, people were telling him to go away. . . The DJ, who was said to be acting under instruction from the show organizers, put off Terry G’s Music. When that couldn’t get him off the stage, the DJ started playing Olamide’s song “Durosoke” and this got him really angry. He reacted by unleashing a slap on the DJ’s face before storming out of the venue.”
The petition was filed against Maje Ayida and his alleged girlfriend, Anita Solomon, back in March, 2016.
She listed a number of reasons why she made the move. Which among them were adultery, cruelty and irreconcilable differences. In it, she alleged that: .
She had to leave their matrimonial home in November 2015 after she could no longer tolerate the continuous adulterous acts between Maje and Anita despite promises from Maje to stop. That Maje had some of his affairs in their matrimonial home while she was away at work.
She alleged that Maje made claims of not having money to take care of her or pay the bills in the house but was able to finance the birth of his child from Anita. She stated that Maje did not pay the rent on two occasions and as a result the landlord came to embarrass her.
She alleged that she lost a huge endorsement opportunity worth N20m with a telecoms company because of the negativity that followed the 2015 scandal. That she was treated with disdain and was never consulted for any business dealings whereas Maje was consulting with Anita.
She alleged that any slight complaint from her resulted in nagging and verbal abuse and the use of vulgar words even in front of their domestic staff. She alleges that Maje has repeatedly sent text messages to Anita Solomon inviting her to live with him.
Toke and Maje dated, on and off, for 12 years before finally getting married in 2014 after Maje surprised her with a very private wedding.
So fellas, Toke is officially back in the market!!
Two ladies allegedly lost their lives yesterday at Elegushi beach, Lagos after attending a friend’s birthday.
Their friend took to instagram to share the tragic news.
Below is what she wrote:
What was supposed to be a day of fun and laughter and birthday wishes quickly turned into one of sorrow and endless tears.
Funmi and Sola, both graduates of Covenant University and in mid twenties lost their lives at Elegushi beach while at a friend’s biryhday party yesterday. I can’t help but wonder if maybe it would be a different story if we just had lifeguards at locations like these in Nigeria or a wave alert system or even an emergency medical unit.
These lives matter. They were young vibrant adults looking to make a change in our country. They had only just finished their masters programme in International Law and Diplomacy at Unilag.
This can’t be the norm in our society, every life matters. All we ask is that the government parastatals in charge look into this. Let our beaches be safe again.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, fondly called Daddy GO, has informed those looking up to the present government to make changes in their lives that government is helpless without the help of God.
Ministering on the theme “No More Delay” with special prayers for the youth, mature singles and their families and those who have suffered delay in careers, promotion and child bearing at the RCCG Headquarters in Lagos, he advised youths to depend on God and always seek the face of the Almighty before embarking on any project despite the harsh economic condition.
Daddy GO, who spoke through his Special Assistant on Admin and Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola said, “No matter the situation in the country, the youth should seek the face of God who promises to supply all the needs of those who wait on Him irrespective of prevailing situation or circumstance.”
He continued, “The government everybody is looking unto to make changes is helpless too without the help of God because the power to turn things around is not in the hands of those running the government but in the hands of God Himself.
“This is the reason everybody, including the youth should seek the face of God for better days to come.”He called on the young ones to be skillful, learn a trade and engage in entrepreneurship instead of waiting for the government to provide jobs.
“At a period like this when there is problem of unemployment, youths should endeavor to be creative because solving problems actually brings creativity. The youths and every Nigerian realise that there is no short-cut to breakthrough and success,” Adeboye said.
Reports have emerged that popular Nigerian actor, Jide Kosoko who comfortably shuttles between the Yoruba and English sector has lost three wives in his lifetime.
Henrietta Kosoko, 53, who died in the early hours of Monday, June 6, 2016, from diabetes complications, is the third wife veteran actor, Jide Kosoko is mourning.
In October 1992 and November 1993, two of the wives of the Lagos Prince died in quick succession, and he described the experience in an interview with Encomium Weekly when he turned 60 on January 11, 2014, as a very sad period.
With the death of his actress wife, Henrietta who lived in the Bariga area of Lagos mainland (he lives in Ikorodu), the adored actor has lost his most popular wife. Sadness has settled in his household with this third death among the people who meant the world to him.
Nollywood actress, Henrietta Kosoko, wife of veteran actor, Jide Kosoko is dead. She died on Monday morning, 6th of June, 2016.
Henrietta, who only last week celebrated her 53rd birthday, was said to have slumped at home and was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Henrietta, until death, was married to veteran actor and former president of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), Jide Kosoko.
A close family source who spoke under the condition of anonymity disclosed that before her demise, she was battling diabetes for a while, causing her sugar level to fluctuate.
A man who is currently dating a female bank marketer has showed his paranoia on social media due to the tag of ‘corporate prostitution’ attached to her job title by the Nigerian society.
In line with the despondency that most Nigerian female artistes have due to the fact that they have passionate relationships with their managers, Nigerian music veteran, Kenny Saint-Best has decided to give some words of wisdom to these female artistes.
The truth of female entertainers dating their managers definitely didn’t begin with the Nigerian entertainment industry, but it certainly would be their which will be easier to have a jaw to jaw movement on since they live in our territory.
These relationships have either affected the artistes for good, or otherwise.
Veteran musician Kenny Saint-Best, decided to give her own opinion on female artistes who have either had affairs with their male managers, or who went on to marry them (in the case of Tiwa Savage).
Yemi Alade and her manager
“Yemi Alade is not having any challenges because her alleged romance (with her manager, Taiye Aliyu) is going fine for now. So everything is fine but once there is a fallout, there might be trouble.
Emma Nyra And Ubi Franklin
In the case of Emma Nyra and Ubi Franklin; her career nose-dived because they broke up and she became a wreck emotionally. Now that she is coming back, she will have to join from the back and start all-over again.
Kel And Clarence Peters
I am disappointed Kel did not try enough after her ill-fated relationship with Clarence Peters. She showed promise and still has the talent. I understand how inconvenient it is to come up with music when you are emotionally down but people who win are those who pick themselves up and fight again. Kel should have done more than just give up on music.
Dating one’s manager as a female artiste is not a plus, rather it often ends disastrously.”
The veteran singer also commended Tiwa Savage for being able to rise above all the recent issues surrounding her marriage, and forging ahead in her career.
Since the former AGN president was released from prison after she was granted bail back in April, the image you’re seeing above happens to be the very first photo she would share after her release.

The controversial ‘sacrificial giving’ form contains amounts totalling millions, members are urged to donate. Some are even told to give up their whole salary.
Many who saw the form expressed shock as they believe it is just another money making scam.

“I greet my husband good morning with a kiss” – Mrs Alakija
Africa’s richest woman who happens to be a Nigerian, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija, has talked about some vital relationship goals.
In a recent interview with The Punch, the 65-year-old multi-billionaire businesswoman spoke about her childhood, how she cut her teeth in business, how she has made her marriage work with practical examples and many more.
Read excerpts below:
You have been married for close to 40 years. Are you still in love with him the way you were when you met him many years ago?
If anyone of us is abroad, for instance, the two of us would make sure that we call each other a minimum of twice a day. We have spoken three times already today. If it wasn’t that I was running late for the interview, I would have picked up the phone again to ask him to buy me three brushes but I had to give the job to my assistant to do. So every little thing, we are talking throughout the day.
You are still friends?
Very much so too. We are lovers, friends, brother and sister.
Where did you meet him?
We met at a party in Surulere, Lagos, two weeks after I relocated to Nigeria from England. The party was in the evening. So my brother, his fiancée and I were attending that event and we were all seated together.
Then came along my husband-to-be; he said to me ‘why are you following your brother about’? I said ‘what do you mean’? Then he accosted my brother who he knew well and said your sister is a big girl, why are you allowing her to follow you about? Then my brother said, ‘stay away from my sister. Leave her alone’.
Anyway, we got talking and after the party, he suggested that I should sit with him in his car rather than sit in my brother’s car so we could carry on with our conversation and we would be driving in a convoy back to our abodes.
So we carried on talking and said goodnight. But from that night, unless one of us is abroad, there has been no day that we have not seen each other. Ever since that day, we have seen each other every day unless one person is away and the other is somewhere else.
Your name is more popular than his. Do you know if sometimes in his sober moment, he asks himself ‘why is my wife more popular than I am’?
I believe that that is on the contrary. You know why? He is extremely shy. He does not like publicity. I’m an extrovert; I don’t mind publicity. I like to throw parties; he likes to listen to music.
Nowadays, marriages fail a lot but what would you describe as the secret that has sustained your marriage for so long?
A lot of things make marriages break. What I have noticed over the years is that a marriage doesn’t break suddenly or in a day; it is a gradual process. And the earlier you nip it in the bud, the better. And it is always better to know what the dos and don’ts of marriage are before you get into it so that you don’t get your fingers burnt and so that you can enjoy rather than endure your marriage.
One of the tenements of marriage is that you must communicate with one another. If you do not talk to one another regularly enough, your love can begin to grow cold. You may begin to drift apart and then other things begin to set in.
The Bible tells us that if one person offends the other, you need to take care of that matter immediately and not let it degenerate.
Do not let it degenerate into something that you will still be sulking about the next day because with every action, there is reaction and with every reaction, there is a counter reaction.
I counsel partners and one of the things I tell them is never to make the mistake of having separate bedrooms from the very start. Make sure you share one bedroom even if you have 10 bedrooms.
And not only that, if you tell the carpenter to make your bed to be from one wall to another, you are making the biggest mistake. It can separate you. When you quarrel, it won’t help. But when there is nowhere to turn and you end up kicking one another, you will make up quickly.
One of the things I do to break the ice rather than let things degenerate is to ask my husband to help do my zip even when I can do it by myself. I have broken the ice. You are bound to quarrel because you are two human beings.
If anyone tells you they have a perfect marriage, it is a lie. Yes, they may be compatible and be having a good time but that does not mean it is perfect. It doesn’t exist. Make sure that you set up the values that you will use to run your home and bring up your children.
I greet my husband good morning with a kiss. There are different ways of showing submission. It is not that we are asking you to put your head on the floor so that he can trample on it. No! We are saying show your husband respect. It is the will of God. Speak to him nicely.
There is no man that you would treat like that and would not honour, respect, appreciate and do whatever you ask of him when you ask for a favour. He would go all out with pleasure and even go the extra mile to do whatever you ask of him.
That is what a lot of people don’t realise. Likewise, a man should love his wife; that is what the Bible says. He should honour and respect his wife and not bring a girlfriend into the matrimonial home and say what can she do?
Are you supposed to do that? Is it fair? Is it right? Is it because you are stronger than her physically? If you decide to give her a slap, she can’t beat you, but all she has got is her mouth and she will abuse you very well. One thing will lead to another and the marriage will degenerate. Once it starts degenerating and you don’t quickly nip it in the bud, it may lead to separation and then divorce.
So how do you feel now being known as the richest woman in Africa?
I’ve never called myself that and I just live my life. I do whatever I need to do with all joy and pleasure. It has not changed me; it will not change me and there is no amount of money that can change me, my husband and my children. That is the way we have lived our lives; we will continue being who we are as a family.
Groom-to-be, Kojo Prince of a chubby bride, whose pre-wedding photos went viral this past week has shared his story of how he met his bride to be.
He told @preweddingnaija:
It all started a year and half ago, when I went to visit a sick relative at the University of Ghana hospital where my fiancée Abena Serwaa works. I approached Abena with a prescription for help which she gladly assisted me. I really appreciated everything she did for me. We became friends and it moved on and on.
It wasn’t easy trying to win her heart but I always prayed to God to see me through because I saw all that I’ve always prayed to God for in my future wife. God been so good she finally accepted my proposal. God been so good we’ve been dating for a year and a half now. I thank God for answering my prayers by giving me this wonderful woman as the Queen of my Heart
