Once upon a time Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar has urged the Nation’s citizens to give Head of States, President Muhammadu Buhari a “pass mark” for his efforts in the first year of his administration.
The former V.P made the call on Tuesday in Abuja at the launch of a book titled “We Are All Biafrans” written by Chido Onumah. Atiku, who was chairman at the occasion, noted of the five areas the Buhari administration pledged to face, he has accomplished two and should be encouraged.
“He promised to look into issues like power, insurgency, unemployment, corruption and diversification and if you are to take two out of five, you can give him a pass mark.“He has dealt with corruption and with Boko Haram. For power, give him time,’’ he said.
Ghanaian movie icon, Majid Michael, says he now believes in the existence of God and had been a fool all the while to have thought in the contrary.
Micheal who said he had been an agnostic/atheist revealed he has had an epiphany and now believes that a God, ultimate designer of all things exists and is very much alive.
The actor took to the social media to reveal this, stating that the realization of God’s existence just hit him.
The ‘Forbidden Fruit’ actor wrote:
“Lord God I have never spoken to you. But now I want to say…how do you do? You see God, they told me you didn’t exist and like a fool I believed all this. Last night from standing outside, I saw your sky and I figured right then they had told me a lie.
“Had I taken time to see the things you made I’d have known they weren’t calling a spade a spade. I wonder God if you’ll take my hand. Somehow I feel that U’d understand. Funny I had to come to this hellish place before I had time to see your face.
“Well I guess there isn’t much more to say but I’m sure glad God I met you today. Like the zero hour will soon be here but I’m not afraid since I know you are near. The signal… well…God I’ll have to go. I like you lots I want you to know. Looks like this will be a horrible fight who knows, I may come to your house tonight.
“Though I wasn’t friendly to you before I wonder God if U’ll wait at your door. Look I’m crying, I’m shedding tears I’ll have to go now God, goodbye…. Strange…now, since I met you, I’m not afraid to die . #LEADERSHIP.
The ‘Agege’ bread seller-turned-model, Olajumoke Orisaguna, has rebuked people who reportedly claim celebrity photographer, TY Bello intends to exploit her innocence and make money off her.
Reports making the rounds have it that TY Bello who discovered Olajumoke when she appeared on the cover of her magazine shoot, is out to exploit and use her (Olajumoke).
Recall that TY Bello, upon the discovery, employed the bread seller as a model and changed her life for the better, ranging from a personal apartment to other benefits.
The chocolate-skinned model told the Punch that those alleging the photographer was ‘using’ her, are wicked as TY Bello has never collected a dime from her.
She said, “No, I don’t think so. Till date, none of them has collected any money from me or whoever signs me on any contract.
“Immediately I came on board, I had a bank account opened in my name and I’m the only signatory. Everywhere we go for any modelling contract, Aunty Azuka insists that cash should be paid to my account and not by hand.
“In fact, I am the one collecting from the two women. I would go to Mummy TY’s house, play, eat and she gives me and my children things. Even Aunty Azuka does that too whenever I visit her.
“They don’t have my money with them and I believe whoever said that must be wicked. These are people who God used to take me to where I am today.”
On what she has done with the money realized so far, she said “I am saving money for me and also for my children’s future. Mind you, modelling is not forever and it’s seasonal.
“I am saving my money because I don’t want to sell bread again and I don’t want my children to suffer anymore.”
Asked if she plans to make more children,” the mother of two said “Yes, but that will be a very long time from now. Right now, I have to care for my two kids and face my job and school.”
So, yesterday being the last day in May, an intense debate kicked off on Comedian Akpororo’s Instagram page after he shared a clip of the kid comedian Emmanuella, to inform fans that the child star will be headlining his show scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt.
While many people were impressed by the child’s career growth, a few feared that the adults in her life could be exploiting her for profit, plus these performances at top shows could have an adverse effect on her academics.
See the exchange:
But are those worried about the 5-year-old’s well-being overreacting? Really? ‘Cos I personally feel Emmanuella can’t run her career on her own! She’s five years of age…she’d need “Someone” to thread her on that part.
Recall, in a chat with Naij, Mark Angel who discovered young Emmanuella admitted that the career path is gravelly affecting the child’s academics.
When Annie Idibia took to her Instagram to make controversial posts, calling out unnamed mother(s) who use their children against their fathers, some of her fans assumed she was targeting the mother of 2baba’s three children, Pero Adeniyi.
Now, a lady who alleges she is Pero’s sister is embroiled in a messy fight with Annie, accusing the actress of ‘sending evil messages’ to Pero’s children, plus refusing 2baba the opportunity of seeing his other children.
But Annie vehemently denies these accusations. In her rebuttal, the BeOlive Hair CEO said she was not targeting anyone. “I ain’t throwing no shades,” Annie replied, before asking the lady to leave her page.
This brings to mind Annie’s interview with Motherhood In-Style where she praised Sumbo (the mother of 2baba’s sons, Nino and Zion), but had ‘civil’ words when asked about Pero Adeniyi.
Pero and 2baba caught kissing in a Lagos club in 2015.
When asked about her relationship with Sumbo and Pero, here’s what Annie said:
On Sumbo: ‘I love my boys. I wish I could share the same with the others…I have a very good relationship with the boys and their mum. My daughter has a good relationship with their mum too.’
On Pero: ‘I try to keep it civil with everybody; I make sure I am accessible enough. The kids come visiting. I try to be civil in a way that they are comfortable with allowing their kids to visit their dad. I mean, I’m cool if you’re cool.”
Although Pero Adeniyi is yet to speak up, it would seem that the claims have some substance to them.
Skales and his Manager Osagie have allegedly been remanded in Police Custody after confessing to various charges of fraud and diversion of Baseline Records funds.
They are currently assisting the Police in unraveling the extent of the fraud running into tens of millions of naira. And this story is according to Wale Ewedemi, an inside source for Baseline records.
Wale wrote on Instagram that at the inception of the contract, Skales was given a fully furnished luxury apartment in Lekki in a gated estate, with a brand new customized SUV. And a multimillion Naira sign on Fee.
The record label also gave him a free hand to select and run his brand, supported by a multimillion naira corporate expense account.
Skales behavior has reduced the appetite of the Record label to assist other young talents to achieve their full potential.
Freeze CoolFM shared his thoughts about the incident saying:
@kaylahoniwo and I talked about this on @coolfmlagos today on the #RoadShow.
Many of these artistes are from the hood. One small hit and they upgrade their transportation from Marwa and Molue to a 2006 Range Rover or G wagen with 2014 bodykit, then they upgrade their housing from mushin or Aj city to LEKKI phase one….
But the problem is they don’t upgrade their minds!!! They do business with intelligent and witty entrepreneurs while using their ‘Molue mentality’, not realizing that a contract is a contract and GRA-GRA cannot break it!
The other day DJ Zeez was asked to pay his record label N21m, then the vector issue, then Runtown was issued a court injunction restraining him from performing and now skales allegedly sleeping inside police cell!!
Upcoming artistes abeg make una learn how to read book, no be everything be swag, no be everything be gra-gra! Please don’t jump and sign your life away for a plate of porridge!
UPGRADE YOUR MINDS!!!! Still trying to get Osagie and Skales for their own side of the story so expect more updates tomorrow…. In the meantime remember to read whatever u sign o! And make sure u have a good lawyer…..
Nollywood actor Charles Inojie and his wife Obehi have just welcomed their second child, a baby girl on Wednesday, May 25 in Decatur, Georgia, US.
The couple who got married on November 2012 in Benin City named the child Onoseta. Disclosing the news, Obehi recalled he difficulties she encountered before finally conceiving.
She said:
“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. God is wonderful, he blessed me with another beautiful baby 2 days ago, he made it possible for me to sing a new song again, our God is good! When you are waiting on the Lord for something good to happen, please don’t give up, He will surely answer you. I never knew what it meant to wait on the Lord until he taught me how. Since my first daughter became a year old, I have been praying for another baby, it took quiet a long time before it happened. During that time, I was worried, delayed periods meant miscarriages to me, my mum wasn’t helping matters, “Obehi is old enough to have a sibling, what are you waiting for? Born them sharp sharp, make you rest once” she had no idea what I was going through, I prayed and prayed, cried and cried, then it happened. My period was a week late but I was too scared to confirm my status, then I tried my ovulation test kit, it gave me a smiley face I shouted and rushed off to tell hubby, he said calm down, take this money, he was just giving me a lot of money that morning neither of us knew how much, he told me to go to the nearest clinic for confirmation, as I was driving down, my heart start to beat, I said to myself, I should ve been quiet about this, what if I just raised hubby’s hope for nothing?
“ God reassured me that because He is King over all, everything is beautiful. As soon as my result came out of the lab, my eyes automatically became xrays, I scanned through the paper in the nurse’s hand from afar and I saw *positive* I asked her from where I was sitting, “positive abi? ” she said yes. Ha mo’gbe o, I screamed the whole clinic down and hugged her so tight, I gave the nurse money to buy lunch for herself and the rest of her colleagues. You see, when we take in easily, we don’t know what God has done for us, until we start to hear stories of how many women, are trying hard for the same thing you got so easily. Always be grateful, no matter what, your morning will surely come, keep believing, your testimony will come. All the challenges I had during this pregnancy are long forgotten since my bundle of joy arrived, thank u Lord” she wrote happily.
Annie Idibia took to Instagram to make controversial posts, calling out unnamed mother(s) who are using their children against their father.
“It takes a selfish woman to use their kids against their father. You may be hurting the father, but you are hurting the little girl more, shame on you!” Said the meme she posted, which she captioned with a strongly worded statement.
Read Annie’s own words:
“[I] am all about child abuse for the last few weeks… And I realize that they are so many forms of it! Even as parent we do this without even knowing!!!
Let’s love our children more than the situations!!! Shout out to all the separated parent /EX who don’t stress the other parent over seeing their own kid!!! God bless you.. Your reward is bigger and it is in heaven…
Annie also gave a special shout out to 2baba’s babymama Sunmbo, the mother of the singer’s son Nino. “God bless u real big@s/o to @sunmbo great woman,” she said.
And that’s not all.
The actress and entrepreneur posted series of memes, all on same topic about parents who hurt their children just to get back at the other parent.
See the posts:
It is unclear who Annie is referring to, though people are already making a few guesses, with some making unfounded claims that the posts are targeted at Pero Adeniyi, the mother of three of 2baba’s seven children.
Brent Hail is a Jacksonville resident and Tyler firefighter.
He recently traveled to Africa for the first time to visit with missionaries who are supported by Fellowship Bible Church in Jacksonville has narrated the shocking experience of a Northerner for converting from Islam to christianity in the northern Nigeria.
He wrote:
“This story is about a man named Musa, who, this past January, almost lost his life for converting to Christianity. As we headed northeast in northern Nigeria, I could tell that we were heading into areas that were almost completely Muslim. We were traveling to the village where it happened. I had heard about Musa and his incredible story through one of the missionaries our church supports.
“Four hours later we finally pull up to the spot where it all happened. Musa walked us to the mud house where it all took place. He began by telling us that two years ago he became a Christian as a result of one of the outreaches to his village.
“Most of the village was either pagan or Muslim, so when he converted he was seen as an outsider of sorts. Let me say quickly that Islam is not the enemy here. There is a much bigger enemy who uses Islamic radicals to carry out horrible things against people.
“After his conversion, Musa told people in his village that he was a Christian and that he wanted them to know that Jesus truly cared and loved them. The leaders of the village didn’t like that, so they were going to make it difficult for him.
“They took his wife and married her to another man in the same village. They then approached him with a large sum of money wanting to denounce his faith and come back to Islam, but Musa refused. They then brought him several women for the same purpose, but he still refused.
“One night, two people from his village came to his mud hut at midnight, kicked in his door and told him that this was going to be his last night on earth. One of them had a gun. As the man fired, Musa reached around to feel the exit hole from the bullet, but it wasn’t there. The man was standing approximately five feet away, so surely he couldn’t have missed.
“As Musa was crying out to Jesus to save him, the man then swung a machete. Musa put up his left arm in defense, and the machete cut off his left hand. The man swung again, this time cutting off his right thumb. Musa said he suddenly felt a surge of power come over him, and he was able to punch the guy with the arm, which was missing his hand, knocking him down.
“Musa ran to his neighbor’s house where the wife answered the door, and fainted after seeing what had happened to him. The husband then took him to the Christian church that was about a half mile away to seek help from the pastor. They carried him to the hospital, which was an hour and a half away, where they finally were able to care for his wounds. From the time his hand was cut off, to the time he was sewed up, sixteen hours had transpired.
“At times, doubt creeps in to invade my faith. I don’t want it there, but it still manages to make its way in. I believe God understands this, and allows amazing stories like Musa’s to cross our paths to let us know that there is a God who truly loves and cares for us. It strengthens my faith all the more from seeing the way that God delivered Musa.
“I was able to see the amazing power of God work through Musa, because he told us that he loves and forgives the men. He also has had four men from the village come to him secretly, telling him that they had placed their faith and trust in Christ because of his witness. It has opened my eyes to see that God cares as much for the Muslims as he does for me. I thank God for allowing me to see this personally and to meet Musa. We can all learn a lot from his story.”
Tired and irritated with the barrage of unsolicited advice and comments about his failed marriage to Toyin Aimakhu, Adeniyi Johnson doled out a warning to fans to leave him the heck alone!
The actor, who separated from his wife of 2 years in 2015 after allegedly cheating with one of Toyin’s staff, has remained mum on his failed marriage asides from the public apology he tendered to her immediately after the split.
The events leading on to his very unlikely outrage started about a week ago when he shared a picture of himself with fast-rising actress cum producer Seyi Edun, leading people to insinuate that they were in a relationship — a rumour he debunked.
However, some fans were not done with the need to play guidance counsellor in the comment section of his Instagra page after he shared a group picture with his alleged lover in it . One fan pleaded he reconciles with Toyin Aimakhun while another pointedly bashed the actor writing “The cane wey he take beat toyin he will soon take am beat you,” in reference to the new girl.
The brutal comments set the actor off leading to the “comment rubbish and get blocked…” warning he doled out in the early hours of this morning in an epic rant very unlike him.

“Alhaji Adeniyijohnson….. PLS READ….. promo! Promo!! promo!!!….. comment rubbish and get blocked…. pls comment about the pix and events leave my marriage out of your comments pls…. Hours after Binta Diamond Diallo’s nasty fight with Wizkid’s fans who accused her of setting the singer up just to make money off the pregnancy, the new mum has published the result of a DNA test that confirms he’s the child’s father.
“Read between the lines,” she captioned the post, adding, “#DNADoesntLie #NotJustARumour #Facts”

The former video vixen relocated to Nigeria in January, but after the singer failed to acknowledge their son Ayodeji Ibrahim, she returned to the United States.
She has since resumed work, caring for her daughter from a previous relationship and her son with Wizkid.
According to a Twitter user who shared the photo on social media, a woman has fallen victim to Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) in Katsina State, after taking Septrin Sulphamethoxazole tablet as the adverse drug reaction turned her to black.
“This is why self medication is usually not recommended. If you report a reaction at a hospital , it is usually written in BOLD in front of ur hospital file so subsequently, no one would prescribe that drug to you.
“Some of us are not told and we don’t ask questions at d hospital so we don’t know. Next thing we are ill and self medicated and go ahead to get that same drug we react to, unknowingly. Drug use awareness needs serious promotion!,” an Instagram user commented on the viral photo.
A Toronto Canada-based Nigerian, Fadesola Adedayo, who recently returned to Nigeria to raise awareness against Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), the rare skin condition that killed his brother, Adeyosola, on March 20, 2012, in Lagos, six months after the birth of his son, has completed a 17-day marathon walk in memory of his late brother.
Adeyosola, a UK-trained medical doctor, was administering free community health services when he noticed blood on his hands after treating an HIV patient.
He took medication to prevent HIV infection and experienced a severe skin reaction. In two weeks, he was dead. He was 27.
Fadesola, a marathoner, began a 717km-long trek against the spread of Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) from Abuja on May 13, finished at about 1.30p.m., on Monday in Lagos, at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota. He later told newsmen that his efforts were bound to yield dividends to combat the SJS.
Stevens – Johnson syndrome, a form of toxic epidermal necrolysis, is a life-threatening skin condition, in which cell death causes the epidermis to separate from the dermis.
The condition is most often a severe reaction to some medications.
WhatsApp, the magnificent app Facebook bought for $19billion (£12 billion), is used by more than 900 million people around the world and has become one of the best ways to connect with people in different countries or have group conversations.
Unlike the way it is with test messaging, WhatsApp uses a data connection, which mean sending a message is essentially free, especially for those with unlimited data plans.
While the app is reasonably simple, there are features many users haven’s discovered yet!
These are the top nine “hidden” features in WhatsApp that everyone should know about and use.
1. See how many messages you and your friends have sent to each other.
To find out whom you communicate with most on WhatsApp, go to Settings > Account > Network Usage.
A number appears next to each contact that represents the total number of messages sent back and forth. Selecting a person reveals more information, including how many messages have been sent by whom.
2. Mute group chats.
Group-chat notifications — especially in a big group — can become annoying, particularly if you aren’t involved in the conversation. While muting group chat may seem drastic, sometimes these things have to be done.
Go to the group chat in question, click on its name and select “mute,” where you will be presented with three options: eight hours, a week, and a year.
3. Hide your “last seen” time.
Hiding your “last seen” time is a useful feature if you don’t want people to know when you last checked into WhatsApp.
To switch it off, head to settings > Account > Privacy > Last seen. From here, you can select who gets to view your “last seen” time.
The feature does come with a trade-off: You won’t be able to see anyone else’s “last seen” time either.
4. Change your WhatsApp number if you switch phone numbers.
Setting up WhatsApp and then changing phones can be a pain. The service is not linked to your actual phone number, just the first number you enter and verify. This “number” will then follow you onto your next phone, creating confusion for everyone.
If you get a new number, you can change your WhatsApp number quite easily by going to Settings > Account > Change Number and following the steps from there.
A 28-year old Uwem Akpanebe, who killed his 75 years old aunty, Josephine George, yesterday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has explained why he did it!
Narrating how it all happened, the suspect, detained at Akwa Ibom State Police headquarters, Uyo, told Vanguard that he decided to kill his aunty as the prayer houses he went to for solutions to his problems told him the person behind his woes was a close relative, who did not only spiritually block his chances of realising his aspirations, but was also plotting his death for money ritual.
The native of Ikot Ineme in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State added that since he was living with Josephine, he thought she was the one plotting to use him for money rituals and, therefore, had to go for her life first.
He said: “My action was caused by the revelations given to me by the prayer houses I have been attending. I was told in almost all the prayer houses that someone close to me was the cause of all the ordeals I was passing through and that the person was even plotting to use me for money rituals. “So I hid somewhere with a machete, waited for her and when she was returning home, I cut her with the machete till she died.”
Speaking on behalf of Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Murtala Mani, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Delia Nwawe, reiterated the commitment of the police in the state to smoke out all criminal elements from their hideouts for the state to remain peaceful and safe.
Runtown has parted ways with his record label, Eric Manny Records (or at least he’s trying to) and they didn’t do so on the best of terms.
Continue..
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has slammed an injunction against the rising musical artiste Douglas Jack-Agu aka “Runtown”. The injunction prevents him from performing at any event or any form of recording for the time being unless with the approval of Ericmany Limited.
Runtown is signed under the Ericmany Entertainment label that presently holds the copyright to all his music. He was sued in the Federal High Court by Ericmany on allegations that he signs up, concludes and attends musical shows without the knowledge of the label.
Ericmany Entertainment was said to have invested millions of naira on Runtown. However trouble started when Runtown apparently with the connivance of Bug Media ran by one Bugwu Aneto began to sideline Ericmany and collected money directly for shows without the knowledge of Ericmany. Bug Media is also a party to the court case.
In another twist of events, the management of Ericmany has sacked the said Bugwu Aneto as General Manager of the company for infractions which might not be unconnected with his alleged connivance with Runtown to shortchange the Label Ericamany.
Our reporter learnt that all inquiries about the artiste and bookings for shows would no longer be through Aneto but through the management of Ericmany.
It is not clear how the young artiste is reacting to the court case and injunction. Observers suggest he was misled by Bugwu, the former General Manager of Ericmany to ditch his boss and benefactor Ericmany, and may now that the chips are down find ways to go back and reconcile with the Ericmany.
Happily married mum of three and one time active actress, Mercy Johnson dedicated her third child Angel Onosetale Okojie, last weekend. See the family photos she shared to mark it below:
In this shocking rant that turned out to be a public disgrace, an Edo side-chic has made a mockery of herself by going on Facebook to fight the wife of the man she is having s*x with.
The Sidechick – Ebikhena Alphonsus took to the Facebook wall of her boyfriend’s wife to post the below;
Lilian Chinyere Douglas-Ezeugo, the job placard carrying girl recently went viral after she took the bull by the horn and stood on a Lagos road, Ikoyi-Lekki bridge, seeking for a job.
She got to meet Tony Elumelu and also the vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinabjo.
Here are five things you didn’t know about her:
1. She was born Dec. 3rd, 1993.
2. She met with Tony Elumelu but he did not give her a job!
“In the meeting, he asked me why i did what i did. I told him that I didn’t want to be among unemployed graduates and that was all. Though people started rumoring he gave me a job.” she revealed.
3. Forte Oil has called her for a test.
4. This is how she met with Osinbajo
“Following that, I got an invite for a media forum with the Vice President. At the forum, we were given the opportunity to ask one question each. When it got to my turn, I asked him what plans the federal government have in preparing the teenagers and youth to overcome challenges of adulthood and what happens to youths without a purposeful mindset and are not mentally challenged, also those who are but do not have the support.”
5. This is why she did what she did!
“I want people to understand that i did what i did to voice out. And that if nothing is done, it will get to a point where the youths will be involved in a violent protest.
I would like ‘Leadership and Purpose’ to to be a module in schools but since it is not, i would like to organize sections with schools ranging from primary to university level introducing them to mind development courses, teaching them about leadership development, giving them a purposeful mindset that would make them meet their full potential.
Imagine if school children and youths are developed socially, ethically, emotionally, physically and have cognitive competencies, they would be able to analyse their weakness and strength, set vocational goals, have self esteem, confidence, motivation and participate in community life, effect a positive change and serve as role models.”
Bread-seller turned celebrity model, Olajumoke Orisaguna in this interview with Kemi Ashefon, talked about her new found world of glitz and glamour. Read excerpts below:
Do you have any advice for girls who are in need of the kind of help you got?
Inasmuch as God brought help my way, I believe that every woman must have something doing—you must not be idle. Acquire a skill, or get a job.
If I was at home, expecting someone to come and help me, God would not have visited me the way He did. That day I photo-bumped Mummy TY’s photo shoot, I was desperate to exhaust whatever was on my tray. Help does not come to you when you don’t move.
Some people have said Azuka and TY Bello want to exploit your innocence and make money off you…
No, I don’t think so. Till date, none of them has collected any money from me or whoever signs me on any contract. Immediately I came on board, I had a bank account opened in my name and I’m the only signatory.
Everywhere we go for any modelling contract, Aunty Azuka insists that cash should be paid to my account and not by hand. In fact, I am the one collecting from the two women. I would go to Mummy TY’ house, play, eats and she gives me and my children things.
Even Aunty Azuka does that too whenever I visit her. They don’t have my money with them and I believe whoever said that must be wicked. These are people who God used to take me to where I am today.
What have you done with the money realized so far?
I am saving money for me and also for my children’s future. Mind you, modelling is not forever and it’s seasonal. I am saving my money because I don’t want to sell bread again and I don’t want my children to suffer anymore.
Are you having more children?
Yes, but that will be a very long time from now. Right now, I have to care for my two kids and face my job and school.
How are you coping with the school, I’m sure it’s a new experience for you?
Yes, it’s entirely new but I am coping. I attend school everyday and I have good teachers. Even other students too have been nice to me. While in school, I stay in the class, read my books and always ask questions from the teachers. Friends? No, I don’t have friends there. I went them to acquire knowledge and that is what I face squarely.
Despite your new found lifestyle, you are still slim, is that deliberate?
Yes, I have a limit to what I eat because I have been told there should not be much fat on me—I’m a model. I eat rice, amala, eba etc but these have to be in moderation. Models are not supposed to be fat.
Are there dreams you nurse currently?
Yes, there are many of them. First, I want to prosper in this modelling career and have my name mentioned when important brands are assembled. Also, I want to have a bakery, where I can employ people and help others too. Also, I want to establish a hairdressing salon. Moreover, I am looking forward to being an actress.
Did you rub something on your body that particular day you photo-bumped for so much attention to have been on you?
Me? Olajumoke rubbed something? Never! I thank God for that particular day because I didn’t rub cream before rushing out of the bakery. Where would I have had time for that when customers would be waiting for my bread?
I have never used fetish things in my life and never had the tiniest incision on my body—I hate having marks on my body.
My parents are good Christians and I am sure the photo shoot took place just because of me. I don’t use anything—spiritual or physical. I just pray to God and thank Him.
Police men in Uganda have arrested a 21-year-old man who reportedly beheaded his 7-year-old brother so he can use his head to get rich. The incident happened in Uganda.

A great-grandmother has claimed she is the world’s oldest living person – after telling officials she has celebrated her 120th birthday.
Pictures have emerged of Tanzilya Bisembeyeva with her family in the village of Alcha in Krasny Yar district in the region of Astrakhan, southern Russia.
The widow is said to have been born in 1896 and, if her claims are true, she beats the current Guinness World Record holder, Italian Emma Morano, by more than three years. Local media in Astrakhan reports that her family say her secret is: ‘She never sits down, doesn’t smoke and eats only organic food.
They have said that Bisembeyeva survived the Russian Revolution, World War I, World War II and two husbands.
Forty-nine-year old Jafaru Sogei, who allegedly killed Rose, his wife of 26 years, last Friday, may be “mentally unstable”, the police said yesterday.
Acting spokesman of Lagos Command Chukwuma Ozoani, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), said there was possibility that the suspect is mentally unstable because he can barely speak for now.
“We are carrying out various tests on him. There is the possibility that he might be mentally unstable. He might have psychiatric problem. He is in police hospital; we are checking his mental health. It is an all inclusive thing. He cannot stand on his own nor speak what we understand.
“He only looks and murmurs and so we are going the extra mile to look at the issues and observe him.”
Sogei was said to have ingested a poisonous chemical after allegedly slashing his wife’s throat and was found vomiting in the bathroom at about 4am.
It was gathered that he attempted to set the body ablaze before his son, Richard, saw him and raised the alarm. Richard found his mother’s body when he went into the room to tell her that his father may be sick.
Neighbours quickly held Sogei, who was subsequently arrested by policemen.
The police rushed him to the hospital when his condition became critical. The police initially thought the suspect was on drugs, but later discovered that he might have ingested poison as his health was deteriorating.
“He was rushed to the hospital and has been there since then. There is a possibility he is mentally unstable. Our psychiatric doctors are checking him. He is not in a good state at all. He took poison. He is not well so we are treating him at the police hospital.
“You cannot investigate someone who is at the point of death. But once he recovers, we would begin investigation into the case,” said a source.
It was gathered that Abiodun Odude, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of the SCIID spent several hours in the hospital on Saturday and yesterday.
Before the incident, it was learnt that Sogei had been warning his wife to stop collecting gifts from her relatives for the family’s upkeep.
The suspect, who is said to be jobless, had reportedly assaulted his wife and mother of his five children on some occasions for alleged infidelity.
According to Richard, who spoke with reporters last Friday, the suspect started acting strangely after allegedly killing his wife.
He said:
“My three siblings, our aunt and I slept in the living room, while dad and mum were inside. Around 4am, dad called me from the bathroom. I went to meet him but he did not say anything. I went outside to urinate and when I came back, I checked the bathroom and saw him lying down, vomiting some black substance and excreting on his body. I think he poisoned himself. I told my aunt to wake mum up to attend to him. But she didn’t wake up. I shone a flashlight on her and saw blood on the bed with a wide cut in her neck. I fainted when we discovered she was dead.
“We later asked dad how it happened, he said somebody entered and did it whereas the compound gate is always locked in the night.
“It was mum that took care of us. She was the one sponsoring my elder brother, Collins, who just gained admission into a university in Abia State. I don’t know our fate now.
“The landlord of our former house on Michael Street sent us out because dad always quarrelled with mum. We were also sent away from Banjoko Street for the same reason.”
