Do you have any advice for girls who are in need of the kind of help you got?
Inasmuch as God brought help my way, I believe that every woman must have something doing—you must not be idle. Acquire a skill, or get a job.

If I was at home, expecting someone to come and help me, God would not have visited me the way He did. That day I photo-bumped Mummy TY’s photo shoot, I was desperate to exhaust whatever was on my tray. Help does not come to you when you don’t move.

Some people have said Azuka and TY Bello want to exploit your innocence and make money off you…
No, I don’t think so. Till date, none of them has collected any money from me or whoever signs me on any contract. Immediately I came on board, I had a bank account opened in my name and I’m the only signatory.

Everywhere we go for any modelling contract, Aunty Azuka insists that cash should be paid to my account and not by hand. In fact, I am the one collecting from the two women. I would go to Mummy TY’ house, play, eats and she gives me and my children things.

Even Aunty Azuka does that too whenever I visit her. They don’t have my money with them and I believe whoever said that must be wicked. These are people who God used to take me to where I am today.

What have you done with the money realized so far?
I am saving money for me and also for my children’s future. Mind you, modelling is not forever and it’s seasonal. I am saving my money because I don’t want to sell bread again and I don’t want my children to suffer anymore.

Are you having more children?
Yes, but that will be a very long time from now. Right now, I have to care for my two kids and face my job and school.

How are you coping with the school, I’m sure it’s a new experience for you?
Yes, it’s entirely new but I am coping. I attend school everyday and I have good teachers. Even other students too have been nice to me. While in school, I stay in the class, read my books and always ask questions from the teachers. Friends? No, I don’t have friends there. I went them to acquire knowledge and that is what I face squarely.

Despite your new found lifestyle, you are still slim, is that deliberate?
Yes, I have a limit to what I eat because I have been told there should not be much fat on me—I’m a model. I eat rice, amala, eba etc but these have to be in moderation. Models are not supposed to be fat.

Are there dreams you nurse currently?
Yes, there are many of them. First, I want to prosper in this modelling career and have my name mentioned when important brands are assembled. Also, I want to have a bakery, where I can employ people and help others too. Also, I want to establish a hairdressing salon. Moreover, I am looking forward to being an actress.

Did you rub something on your body that particular day you photo-bumped for so much attention to have been on you?
Me? Olajumoke rubbed something? Never! I thank God for that particular day because I didn’t rub cream before rushing out of the bakery. Where would I have had time for that when customers would be waiting for my bread?

I have never used fetish things in my life and never had the tiniest incision on my body—I hate having marks on my body.

My parents are good Christians and I am sure the photo shoot took place just because of me. I don’t use anything—spiritual or physical. I just pray to God and thank Him.

Man Beheads 7-year-old Brother for Money Rituals

Police men in Uganda have arrested a 21-year-old man who reportedly beheaded his 7-year-old brother so he can use his head to get rich. The incident happened in Uganda.

According to NTVUganda, the man identified as Herbert Were beheaded his brother, Joel Ogema both residents of Busia district on the Kenya-Uganda border. The police revealed that Were confessed that he beheaded his younger brother after being instructed to do so by a member of Illuminati in Kampala.

Uganda police spokesman Fred Enanga said: ”Were has told us that he cut off his brother’s head but we arrested him on the way to meet the alleged Illuminati member who had asked for the head.”

Enanga explained Were who decided to spend a night in a friend’s house after killing his brother was found out when he fell asleep in the friend’s place. The friend who was suspicious of Were decided to check the bag and was shocked when he saw a fresh human head.

The friend ran to the police and reported the matter. Police arrested Were who immediately confessed that he was responsible for the head in the bag and even told police about the person he had been communicating with on phone and facebook about the head.

He said he connected to the Illuminati fellow on facebook, who told him that if he wanted to get rich he should take him a head of a human being. Later they started communicating on phone.

Police arrested a Kampala music promoter, Jeff Kiwanuka in connection with the murder on suspicion that he was the Illuminati fellow who gave Were instructions.

A great-grandmother has claimed she is the world’s oldest living person – after telling officials she has celebrated her 120th birthday.

Pictures have emerged of Tanzilya Bisembeyeva with her family in the village of Alcha in Krasny Yar district in the region of Astrakhan, southern Russia.

The widow is said to have been born in 1896 and, if her claims are true, she beats the current Guinness World Record holder, Italian Emma Morano, by more than three years. Local media in Astrakhan reports that her family say her secret is: ‘She never sits down, doesn’t smoke and eats only organic food.

They have said that Bisembeyeva survived the Russian Revolution, World War I, World War II and two husbands.

“Suspected Wife Killer May Be Mentally Unstable” – Police Says

Forty-nine-year old Jafaru Sogei, who allegedly killed Rose, his wife of 26 years, last Friday, may be “mentally unstable”, the police said yesterday.

Acting spokesman of Lagos Command Chukwuma Ozoani, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), said there was possibility that the suspect is mentally unstable because he can barely speak for now.

“We are carrying out various tests on him. There is the possibility that he might be mentally unstable. He might have psychiatric problem. He is in police hospital; we are checking his mental health. It is an all inclusive thing. He cannot stand on his own nor speak what we understand.

“He only looks and murmurs and so we are going the extra mile to look at the issues and observe him.”

Sogei was said to have ingested a poisonous chemical after allegedly slashing his wife’s throat and was found vomiting in the bathroom at about 4am.

It was gathered that he attempted to set the body ablaze before his son, Richard, saw him and raised the alarm. Richard found his mother’s body when he went into the room to tell her that his father may be sick.

Neighbours quickly held Sogei, who was subsequently arrested by policemen.

The police rushed him to the hospital when his condition became critical.The police initially thought the suspect was on drugs, but later discovered that he might have ingested poison as his health was deteriorating.

“He was rushed to the hospital and has been there since then. There is a possibility he is mentally unstable. Our psychiatric doctors are checking him. He is not in a good state at all. He took poison. He is not well so we are treating him at the police hospital.
“You cannot investigate someone who is at the point of death. But once he recovers, we would begin investigation into the case,” said a source.

It was gathered that Abiodun Odude, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of the SCIID spent several hours in the hospital on Saturday and yesterday.

Before the incident, it was learnt that Sogei had been warning his wife to stop collecting gifts from her relatives for the family’s upkeep.

The suspect, who is said to be jobless, had reportedly assaulted his wife and mother of his five children on some occasions for alleged infidelity.

According to Richard, who spoke with reporters last Friday, the suspect started acting strangely after allegedly killing his wife.

He said:

“My three siblings, our aunt and I slept in the living room, while dad and mum were inside. Around 4am, dad called me from the bathroom. I went to meet him but he did not say anything. I went outside to urinate and when I came back, I checked the bathroom and saw him lying down, vomiting some black substance and excreting on his body. I think he poisoned himself. I told my aunt to wake mum up to attend to him. But she didn’t wake up. I shone a flashlight on her and saw blood on the bed with a wide cut in her neck. I fainted when we discovered she was dead.
“We later asked dad how it happened, he said somebody entered and did it whereas the compound gate is always locked in the night.
“It was mum that took care of us. She was the one sponsoring my elder brother, Collins, who just gained admission into a university in Abia State. I don’t know our fate now.
“The landlord of our former house on Michael Street sent us out because dad always quarrelled with mum. We were also sent away from Banjoko Street for the same reason.”

After spending six weeks in intensive care, little Roman, Rocco and Rohan look so similar one can not tell them apart. The odds of having identical triplets is an incredible 200 million to one.

Fortunately for their 23-year-old mother, tell-tale features plus the ten-month-old triplets’ emerging personalities mean she for one has no trouble telling them apart.

‘When they were newborns it was quite hard to tell which one was which, but I never got them mixed up myself,’‘They’ve all got dark birthmarks between their eyebrows, but Roman’s is slightly darker than the others’, and Rohan has got a birthmark on his leg as well.

According to the Multiple Births Foundation, the only way to establish for certain whether twins or triplets are identical – known as zygosity determination – is usually DNA testing.

After consulting them, Miss Allen took cheek swabs from Roman, Rocco and Rohan and sent them off to a laboratory to be analysed – and earlier this month received the news that they are genetically identical.

I was surprised because I expected them to be non-identical,’ she said. ‘But then I’m normally the only one who can tell them apart, so that does explain a lot!’

The triplets get through around 130 nappies a week between them and four packs of baby wipes, while a pack of formula lasts about two days and the washing machine is run around three times a day.

As their father, Liam Tierney, 28, does not live with her, much of the day to day help comes from her sister Lauren, 17.

In line with his public apology on Instagram, Nollywood comic actress, Toyin Aimakhu‘s ex and entertainment promoter, Seun Egbebe, says he did what he did because she dragged him before the commissioner who forced him to sign an undertaking.

Toyin’s management confirmed Egbegbe signed an undertaking, assuring the CP that nothing would happen to her or her career as he earlier threatened.

While speaking in a recent interview with Encomium, he rubbished the reports saying:

Maybe those writing or posting that are only looking for unnecessary attention or maybe it’s being sponsored. If that’s true, I believe there should be a photograph as evidence just like it happened in the case of Wizkid and Linda Ikeji. So, it’s just a waste of time believing that kind of rubbish. All I know is that Toyin and I have settled and there’s no issue between us again.”

Yeni Kuti, the daughter of late Afro-beat legend, Fela Kuti, has gotten engaged to her partner of five years, Theo Lawson, at a surprise birthday party held in Lagos.

According to TheNet.ng, the party, held on May 24, 2016, was organised by the duo of Mallam Abdul Okwechime and Akin Adeoya, the owners of the Prince of Anthony Hotels, where the event was held.

Yeni, who is also the eldest child of Fela Kuti, was treated to a lavish party witnessed by family and close friends.

Nigerian-American rapper, Wale, has expressed his admiration over the musical dexterity of his countrymen, Davido, Wizkid and Olamide, by stating that he is proud of them.

Wale was interviewed on American radio station, Hot 97, where he talked about the good music quality of Nigerian artistes and how he tried to get Wizkid signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation record label.

He said:

“I’m proud of Davido and Wizkid, and Olamide”.

“There’s a lot of dope artistes coming out of there. I know it was going to get there, because Nigeria’s got like a whole 60% of the swag in Africa come from Nigeria, and I have always known Wizkid.”

“I remember bringing the idea of signing Wizkid to Roc Nation, to the guys over here like early on…but that was way before his time, but I knew what it was gonna be.”

“There’s so much money there, as far as like Dubai, London and all of that, I knew it was going to get there.”

Today i made a new friend…she is Leila…one of those Fulani’s from Mali who beg for money in front of Accra mall
she approached me n smiled n spoke pidgin: antyy make u give me money make i buy food chop’..then i smiled back n said i hv not eaten since morn myself..
she asked if its true …i said yhh…then she handed me all the coins she had in hand…i asked if she is sure i can use the money…she said yh i cld…so i counted n it ws js 1cedi 10p…told her it wont be enough…she asked me to wait for a min…she went to check wher she keeps her money n brot about 4cedis…then she said 5cds shd be enough to buy rice…n i told her i wld need water…she then asked me to wait so she begs ppl for money for me…after abt 10mins, (was waiting for someone)..she came back with 50p from her bro n said she can direct me to a canteen…i followed her…while engaging her in convo
Ppl js starred at us…others said i shdnt mind her…i told them she wasnt begging for money
I distracted her with ques while we waited…she is js 10yrs
Then i asked why she gave me all the money…she replied ‘ibi u dey hungry anty, i go fit beg for money but u no go fit, so jst take am’…at this point i had tears in my eyes..n i know ppl were wonderong wht convo we were hving..
She asked tht i tk fotos of her n with her…
It was tooo sunny so they came out dark…then when my friend arrived she told her to mk sure i get food to eat…then i asked her to tk her money…she looked disappionted n asked why…i told her i js needed company while i waited…
I’m sure we ol av learnt somtin from this….
