After the recent ‘white‘ photos of hers she shared on Instagram, many have pondered why Lil Kim keeps changing her looks via plastic surgery.
She just might have provided the answer in an interview she granted Newsweek. The rapper said:
All my life men have told me I wasn’t pretty enough–even the men I was dating. And I’d be like, ‘Well, why are you with me, then?’It’s always been men putting me down just like my dad. To this day when someone says I’m cute, I can’t see it. I don’t see it no matter what anybody says.”
She continues:
“I have low self-esteem and I always have,”Guys always cheated on me with women who were European-looking. You know, the long-hair type. Really beautiful women that left me thinking, ‘How I can I compete with that?’ Being a regular black girl wasn’t good enough.”
And the implants? “That surgery was the most pain I’ve ever been in in my life,” says Kim. “But people made such a big deal about it. White women get them every day. It was to make me look the way I wanted to look. It’s my body.”
Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un has banned all weddings and funerals in North Korea as he prepares to be crowned as the country’s supreme leader at a rare ruling party congress.
The 33-year-old is expected to cement his leadership and formally declare the nation a nuclear-armed state at the first congress in a staggering 36 years.
Ahead of the meeting next week, North Korea has tightened security, with its capital, Pyongyang, placed on lockdown to avoid any ‘mishap‘ at the event.
Weddings and funeral services have also been cancelled this week for security reasons, according to the Sunday Times.
North Korea has in the past taken such steps ahead of major events and has at times also shut down its border with China for the same reason.
It was an all tragic moment in Dattawa, in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, as four children suffocated after mistakenly locking themselves in a car.
The children – Umar Mansir (male, 9); Maryam Salisu (female, 12); Sadiyya Bashir (female, 7); and Fatima Ibrahim (female, 3) – lived with their parents in Rigasa Quarters and always played together.
However, their parents were said to have gone out on Thursday and one of them left his Honda Civic car unlocked in the compound.
The children were reported to have entered into the car and later closed the door.It was said that one of them pressed the lock button and as the car got heated, the children became trapped.
A resident said the kids suffocated, adding that their parents did not know they were dead until they came back home in the evening.
He said:
“The incident happened on Thursday, but the police did not get to know until the following day.The children lived in the same compound. Their parents went out on a visit that day and they started playing on the premises of their building.
“Later, they got into the car and locked the doors. When the heat became too much, they made efforts to get out to no avail. We saw scratches on the vehicles upholstery and the marks of their hands on the windows.
“However, they could neither get out nor find help and they died in the car. When their parents returned, they started searching for them. When the search was futile, somebody decided to check the car, and the children were there, dead.”
Punch METRO gathered that the incident threw the whole neighbourhood into mourning. The publication was told that the corpses were kept till the following morning, after which they were buried.
A police source said the police in the Rigasa area got wind of the incident on Friday and stormed the area.
He said:
“The families did not report to the police for reasons best known to them. By the time the police got to the place on Friday, the residents had already prepared the corpses for burial. The whole community was in tears. The children were buried that day in accordance with Islamic rites.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna State, Zubairu Abubakar, confirmed the incident, adding that the police had started investigations.
He said:
“The incident happened on Thursday, but we learnt about it on Friday, April 29, 2016. The lifeless bodies of the four children were traced to a Honda Civic car parked in the compound. Investigation is in progress.”
One of my favourite fashionista, she’s hardly disappointed in making a fashion statement.
The beauty was out and about yesterday in this casual yet funky outfit. Her blinged out shoes to make the outfit look popping is quite an interesting something.. .
Nigerian Actress, Funke Akindele, known also as ‘Jenifa’ was remarkably angry at an Instagram follower for alleging that Dr. SID broke up the Tiwa-TeeBillz marriage.
The Actress took to her Instagram page to wish Dr. SID a happy birthday but the joyful mood was rather cut short as a follower of hers (@victoriaoduah) replied in the comment section “Happy birthday to the man wey scatter@teebillz323 marriage by fucking @tiwassavage”
Clearly infuriated by the remark, the actress shot back as she wrote: “You are mad for that comment. You silly attention seeker. May God punish u. @victoriaoduah”
Lovely actress, Caroline Danjuma with other celebrities Juliet Ibrahim inclusive, flew to Ghana for Juliet Ibrahim’s foundation celebrity football match.
I chuckled when I saw this and wondered if a Nigerian policeman can take a fist from a suspect, if he’d not end the suspect’s life right there on the spot!
Amazing footage captures the moment a former Olympic wrestling champion took on a perfect SEVEN, police officers trying to arrest him after being bloodied and pepper-sprayed.
Vyacheslav Oliynyk, who took home the gold for Ukraine in Atlanta’s 1996 Summer Olympics, was reportedly pulled over on suspicion of drink-driving in Kiev but argued with the officers.
A video released by officials appears to show him lunging towards one and then pushing him, only to be given a face full of pepper spray by a second.
Oliynyk later told local media:
“I’m partly guilty because I did not stop and I was ignoring the police.
“But I am not a criminal. As far as I can see there will be a court hearing and they will punish me somehow because they always do.”
‘However the fact that police let me go home on the same day shows I didn’t do anything that bad.”
Father to Khloé Kardashian‘s Ex, Lamar Odom was evicted from his LA home and forced to move back to Brooklyn after the reality TV star refused to keep paying his rent, he tells The NY Post.
“Khloé didn’t even have the guts to tell me herself that my rent wasn’t going to be paid anymore,” Joe Odom, 62, said. “She got the guys who handle Lamar’s money to call me and they said the rent wouldn’t be paid, I gotta move and my phone was going to get cut off.”
The former NBA star had paid his disabled father’s $4,000 rent for 10 years when Kardashian kicked the Army vet and his wife, Cecelia, 59, to the curb last November.
She disrespected me. She decided to kick me out of my home when Lamar was in hospital in Nevada,
“I just wish I could be at his side in LA to support him, but Khloé doesn’t want me there,” the broken-up father said.
The glum dad believes Kardashian is “smothering” Lamar and attempting to cut off their communication.
“Whenever I call him, she answers. She must be checking his texts, too. I can’t always get through to him anymore,” he said.
“She may be Lamar’s wife, but I’m his father. She shouldn’t have cut me out of his life like she has.”
Last week, Joe was finally able to get through to Lamar, who said he would “sort it out,” but nothing has changed, he says.
Three weeks to the first anniversary of the present government, Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has revealed how he became the running mate to President Muhammadu Buhari, revealing his disposition to fight corruption in Nigeria was the motivating factor.
Vanguard reports that the VP spoke at a non-denominational conference organized by the Covenant Christian Centre in Abuja on Saturday.
He said:
‘’In December 2014, the unexpected happened; I was nominated as Vice Presidential candidate to then General Muhammadu Buhari.
He then recalled that he was still young, 27years old when Buhari became head of State “after a corrupt and somewhat disappointing civilian regime.”
“As a young university lecturer, then I was impressed by his, President Buhari’s single-minded fight against corruption and indiscipline. There was a serious war against indiscipline.
For the first time, government held corrupt officers accountable. “30 years later, providence brought us together. A retired general now and a Professor of Law.”
Osinbajo said the President and himself knew and agreed on what had to happen to bring change to the nation. “
We both believed that our country needed to change. We argued about how and what needed to be done. We reached consensus on many of the major issues.
‘’Certainly our country need a different set of values; a new way of doing business; an economy that is able to give opportunity to young people to work in their chosen professions and to build strong and profitable businesses. We knew that we had to provide social protection for the poorest and the most vulnerable.
“We recognised that innovation and change will be key, and that we must implement and not just talk about diversification of our economy. So we led our party’s campaign on that single, simple, but profound word, CHANGE! “Nearly a year on- there are many problems and many have asked where is the change? Is this the change we voted for? Even some fifth columnists in our midst have suggested bring back corruption! “
But let me just say here for the records that the government of Muhammadu Buhari is completely and irrevocably committed to change. “We believe that though it may not be easy, though the early signs may be confusing and sometimes discouraging, there has never been a better opportunity than now to turn the country in the direction of success. “ Today we have the best opportunity in decades for profound change.
It is an opportunity in a generation. A revolution whose time has come! Everything around us tells us that the moment is now! Can this change happen, yes indeed, it can! ‘’What do you have in your hands to make it happen? We have a country that is tired of corruption, tired of leadership without values, tired of an economy that is neither designed to accommodate enterprise, nor to create opportunity and wealth for the majority. “But we have a leadership and we have a leader that is prepared to challenge the rotten status quo, one who has said that he is prepared to kill corruption rather than let it kill us,” he said.

– A no show Nigerian superstar WizKid has sent Zambian revellers back home with frustration and flaring tempers.
– By 21hrs only 24 people had gathered at Heroes Stadium the venue of the much publicized gig. Zambian musician Slap Dee has also left the stage and he is currently in Kabwata.
– For a jaw dropping K1000, fans were promised to catch a glimpse of the ‘Show You The Money’ hit maker.
– In Zimbabwe, organisers of a similar Wiz Kid concert were lynched and hurled with insults after the Nigerian failed to pitch up a fortnight ago.
– What more FAZ find it difficult to make the Stadium full to capacity. Wizkid next time when organizing a function, Please involve people that understand the Local Music Industries market. You Might be an International Artist but to me you are not as big as PSquare. When PSquare came to Zambia they did not go for an expensive and bigger venue, yet they used Woodlands Stadium. The price tag also was not that expensive.
– The Organizers(Wizkid Live in Zambia) also could have done good job in terms of studying the market and events. We recently had #Zambia Music Awards. Tonight its happening in Livingstone Casper Nyøvest is in town. Above all your show is at Night, were you not told that there are Ritual Killers in Zambia and Zambians love their lives. They have stopped moving at night.
– This would be a mother of all flops. Anyways its none of my business.

A man arrested by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command for being a major buyer of stolen mobile phones in Lagos, has confessed to have bought over 4,256 mobile phones from robbers, pickpockets and one – chance gangs operating in the state .
The suspect, Kazeem Bamidele, 42, who is the Second Vice Chairman of the National Union of Road and Transport Workers’ (NURTW), Ajegunle Unit, equally confessed to the RRS Intelligence Team that he has over 52 boys in Lagos State, who steal and sell “clean phones” to him constantly.
Kazeem, popularly known as Elewure in the social circle, was arrested when the RRS Intelligence Team quizzed two stolen phones users in Kogi State in connection with abduction and robbery cases in Lagos State.
The operatives had upon returning from a week-long investigation to Port Harcourt, Enugu and Kogi State, swung into actions by arresting Elewure from his shop in Boundary Market, Ajegunle, after he was fingered to have been the seller of two Blackberry Z10 phones and a CAT phone collected from victims of robbery and abduction incidences in the metropolis.
Kazeem said,
“I have over 52 boys who sell clean stolen mobile phones to me. On the average, I receive 38 ‘clean’ phones in a week. I have been in the business for more than two years. Boundary Market in Ajegunle, where I have office and shop, is where they sell the phones. I know they are stolen phones. Nearly every guy in Ajegunle is involved in this kind of runs. It is what they do to survive.
“I was pushed into the business by family pressure. I have so many dependants, including two wives and seven children. My mother gave birth to 13 children for my father. Though both of them are no more, only three of us are left and I am the breadwinner of the family.
“I started out in life as ‘elubo’, pepper and maize grinder. I know that most of these phones were gotten from pick pocketing, one chance and robbery. My second wife has mounted so much pressure on me to quit the business long ago but the financial pressure was much.”
He revealed that
“I buy Infinix Hot 2 at N10,000 and sell N12,000; Blackberry Z30 at N20,000 and sell at N22,000; buy Infinix Hot Note at N15,000 and sell at N17,000 and Samsung Galaxy X3 at N11,000 and sell at N14,000. I don’t buy iPhone because of its locking system.”
Lagos Metro gathered that as of the time of his arrest, five stolen mobile phones were found on him. He is presently helping the police to pick up his boys from their hideouts, bus stops and routes of operations. Two commercial buses “danfo” used for robbery and one chance operations are presently at RRS Headquarters in Alausa.
“Some of the phones traced to Elewure were that of high profile members of the society as well as celebrities,”
a police source said.
The image maker in charge of the state police command, Dolapo Badmos confirmed the arrest of the suspect and added that he had been transferred to the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad, Ikeja for further investigations.

According to TheNet.ng, under the laws of the country, anyone caught attempting suicide is liable to face a year in prison.
Section 327 of the Nigerian Criminal Code states that “Any person who attempts to kill himself is guilty of a misdemeanour and liable to imprisonment for 1 year”.
TheNet.ng, who noted through a lawyer explained that no one has been convicted for attempted suicide. However, Teebillz might be on his way to become the first.
TheNet.ng. further noted that “such cases are usually handled by medical personnel who assess the mental state of the individual and try to offer treatment for depression and other mental disorders.”
Teebillz was reported to be likely to get a pardon for his alleged use of cocaine.
“Most legal systems focus on possession or possession with the intention to distribute. So it would be more defamatory than actionable for someone to make such accusations in the media since he who alleges must prove”.

A young mother has written a heartbreaking post on her blog, stating that she wants nothing but for the life of her cancer-stricken son to be cut short as she feels helpless watching him suffer everyday.
Bede Darch was diagnosed with an aggressive terminal brain cancer at the age of four months old, his family were given the shocking news that he had just weeks left to live.
But three years on, he has defied the odds after undergoing nine months of intense chemotherapy in the hope of buying him some time to enjoy his life. They even set up a gofund me page to help with treatments.
And his mother Isabella has now made a heartbreaking admission, saying she wants her three-year-old son – who cannot see or talk – to die so he could be out of his misery from the excruciating pain.
She wrote:
My heart is raw. Because the truth is I want my son to die. I’m tired. He is tired. I want peace for him, rest. But I instantly hate myself because I know then that is all there will be.
He will have no more growth, no more moments tenderly reaching out to his brother, laying next to his sister. He wont squawk away at his dad anymore, he won’t let me kiss him in the way only I can.
He will just be gone. That is not enough for my special light filled boy. Life is hard but death seems worse.
Roy likens it to having something you love more than anything else in the world, that you want more than anything else, that you treasure above all else but knowing you can’t have it. Knowing it’s better for everyone if you don’t. Knowing you need to let it go. It’s heart breaking.
All I want for Bede is happiness. I grieve that we don’t all get that.I am angry that we feel so alone.
Roy is confident about life after Bede, that he will be able to go forward living a life in testament to him. That his legacy will be brilliance.
But I am scared. Scared that without my steady ship, my touchstone, my beautiful gentle soulful boy I will crumble because my world will never be the same.
I am scared that the woman that will mother cress will be a stranger to who I am now. So I try to smile as much as I can and love as hard as I can in the hope that I can build her up enough that she will weather having me as her mum.
We go on trying to be present, trying to soak in every single moment, utterly mindful of how precious each one is while we spend sunny staurday afternoons choosing toddler sized coffins that would never, could never hold all that our son is.
My heart bleeds and I grieve. I am tired. My bones and muscles and every tendon and ligament ache. But as the bitterness of life rages the storms are rolling in across that familiar ocean. I know this too shall pass.
As I type tears stream down my face and I pound at the keyboard because life is hard and even writing isn’t easy anymore because there is so many conflicting things to say. Because of course amongst all this grief there is light. Bede’s interminable light.
When it’s not your turn to die…No one can say otherwise!

Soundcity VJ, Moet Abebe has clapped back at those asking her when she would get married to her boyfriend, Monk Cheif.
She wrote:
#mood…. I find it very interesting how ppl are quick to say ooo make sure he marries you, he looks like an agbero (a yummy one may I add lol), stop making things “public” lol…. I need to really understand how me posting pics with my man doing something adventurous or exciting (where btw I look nice in ) is me making things public ???… I take a photo… I like… I post… Making things public would b me putting out details of my relationship you don’t need to know or have no clue about, not just pictures…. Ya’ll take ish too seriously… I haven’t even dated him for a year yet but a few rodents and leeches think it’s the time to b asking me when I will marry… Well if ya’ll actually allow me to enjoy my relationship and understand that before marriage is the dating process then wedding bells shall be heard… I feel that’s why so many women are pressurized into marriage so quick (as was my case a year ago) Ppl don’t even let you to date your partner in peace and make sure he’s right for you… It’s a new month, my advise is stop taking another person’s love life so damn seriously….
More celebrities are beginning to speak up on the raging conversation surrounding Tiwa Savage and estranged husband, Tee Billz, the most recent being iconic artiste, Charly Boy.
In a post shared on his Facebook page, the singer talked about celebrities whose relationships crumble under intense glare of the spotlight.
Hear Him:
“I must confess that my heart breaks a little each time I hear/read about celebrities who self distruct because they couldn’t handle Fame or the ones whose marriages are falling apart, because they don’t know how to hold it down. Its sad, especially if they are amongst stars that I admire and love.
Commenting on people’s private lives is a no go area for me. But when celebrities wash their dirty linen in public I owe my reading fans to comment on trending news and issues.
TeeBillz and Tiwa Savage una fall my hand no be small. Una no know say MUTUAL RESPECT IS NON-NEGOTIABLE for marriage, why yeye una self for public like this. Una no know say competition na for business no be for marriage what’s the bullshit. Haba, una no just try.
I know that artiste/celebrities are more fragile than normal people. However they must understand that they are role models to millions of people, so no matter how deep you are hurting, you need to always come out strong. Celebs must understand that their private life is their private life and they must keep it to themselves. It will earn them more respect that way.
I know that people stay married because they want to not because the door is locked. Biko keep your shit to yourselves, keep private private. No marriage can escape bad weather even my own, I dey sometimes see Oba for the matter but like I say “marriage is not about being compatible but how couples deal with their incompatibility. Make I no hear una problems for loudspeakers again, joor.
We may likely not have seen the end to the ongoing saga between these celebrity couples, more revelation and counter accusations will follow…It’s gonna get messy in the next couple of days, Now the police are involved, NDLEA, the EFCC and sadly their poor child will be reading all their outburst online later in the near future.
Their wedding broke the Internet so did their marriage crash
So how did Tiwa Savage implicate herself?
– You and I never knew TeeBillz is a drug addict until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including the NDLEA…she confirmed seeing him sniff Cocaine in their kitchen.
– You and I never knew TeeBillz was promiscuous until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including human rights activists and his future wife (if any)
– You and I never knew TeeBillz is a fraudster until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including the Police, ICPC and EFCC, Now Buhari is aware.
– You and I never knew TeeBillz is in great debt until Tiwa (his wife) told us all including his business partners, nobody likes to do business with a chronic debtor.
Tiwa Savage just killed a man.
Yet she came crying to the world that she loved her husband and she will always pray for him not to get hurt…well, can somebody tell her that she did not only hurt that man, she put a bullet through his head, killed him and checked if he is still breathing then kissed him saying ‘I love you babe’
According to Tiwa “If there is anything that maybe I overlooked, or didn’t love him enough, or made him less of a man, then I am sorry. I am absolutely sorry…Tunji I am sorry. But you know I tried everything, you know I love you so much, and I am sorry, I never wanted to divorce, and I never wanted it to get to this. I want you to get better…and I would always pray for you.”
What she said was a typical example of “wen rat dey chop your leg e go dey blow you breeze make you for nor know until e go almost chop the leg finish”
Should any thing happen to Teebillz, Tiwa Savage would have a case to answer.
Don Jazzy is finally back on social media since Tiwa Savage’s drama broke, and while the Mavin boss did not mention the claims that he had an affair with his record label’s leading lady, he showed support for Dr SID who was also accused of cheating with the singer.
“My brother from another mother. The most misunderstood person I know. If only the world can know you like we know you,” Don Jazzy said in the very sober post, adding, “But at the end of the day, all that matters is that God sees your kind heart.”
It is unclear if the music producer is addressing the accusation by Tee Billz that he and Dr SID slept with Tiwa Savage, but the sadness in his post can almost be felt.

Meanwhile, Simi Esiri, the wife of Dr SID has shown support for her husband by making her first post since the drama, declaring love for him forever.
“My love, my bestfriend, my husband and the father of my daughter,” she wrote adding, “I want you to take time off taking care of everybody and let me love and pamper you like you do for me. Even if no one gets you, I get you and I gat you.”
Less than three weeks after Eze Patrick Okechukwu passed out of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), death gave him a close kiss.
Few days after he returned from Jigawa State, where he did his one year mandatory national service, armed herdsmen invaded his community, Nimbo in Uzo uwani LGA, Enugu State and chopped his body with a sword.
Over 20 people died in the gruesome attack, which left scores of victims bedridden with gunshot and machete wounds.
Eze, a graduate of Geology and Mining from the Enugu State University (ESUT) was in his father’s house when the assailants walked in. Seeing them with machetes and guns, he dashed out of the house but they went after him into the bush.
His struggle to escape was halted by a shrub that cut his two legs and threw him on the ground. His attackers drew their swords in fury, cutting his hands, head, legs and left him for dead.
When Sunday Sun visited him at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu, where he was referred for treatment, he lay in pains, wrapped in bandages all over his body.
Looking frail and helpless, tears dropped from his eyes intermittently, as he nodded towards this reporter in greeting. He struggled to say a few words, biting his lips to suppress the pain from his aching wounds. With great difficulty, he said:
“It was a horrible experience. I saw the face of death. They cut me like wood and left when they thought I had died.” Efforts to engage him in further conversation were not fruitful as he quietly closed his eyes in pain.
His mother and other relatives, who had been waiting in anxiety at the hospital, recounted that the assailants were armed with sophisticated weapons.
“They almost killed my son. Only God saved him. He was chased into the bush where they overpowered him and descended on him with machetes on his head, hands, legs and back. It was at the same spot that they killed three persons, including a 70-year-old man. They thought my son was dead and left him. Later, my son was rescued and put in a wheelbarrow from the bush to the main road. He was rushed to Nsukka in a pool of blood,” she added.
It was gathered that the herdsmen spared women and children during the attack. One of the women that came face to face with the herdsmen told Sunday Sun that they ordered her back to her house, assuring her that they would not hurt women and children.
She said the assailants numbered about 15, explaining that about five of them were herdsmen, while others looked robust.
A reliable source said the herdsmen went into the premises of St Marys Catholic Church, but when they saw that the people were mostly women, they vandalized the louvers and other itmes and left without touching the women.
A former councilor of Nimbo Ward 2 and his father were the first victims. The councilor and his old father were stabbed repeatedly with swords. The old man died on the spot but his son was rushed to the hospital, where he is responding to treatment.
Nollywood actress and TV Host, Stella Damasus, has been given the tag, ‘husband-snatcher’ after she started living as a couple with Doris Simeon’s ex husband, Daniel Ademinokan.
According to Vanguard, Stella Damasus Since the incident made news a couple of years ago, Stella has kept her peace, refusing to comment on the issue until recently.
She said:
“I have kept mum on the allegation until now and I feel it’s time I expressed myself.”One of the comments I have seen consistently, over and over again is, ‘Stella snatches somebody’s husband’; ‘Stella the husband snatcher’; which is what has been going on. “And I had sworn that I would never talk about it or even listen or stress myself about the issue. But I have decided to talk about it now, so that I end it once and for all’, she said.“How is it possible to go to somebody’s home, take a happily married man, take his son away from his home and say follow me.
“Let’s assume you are a man, and according to their story, he is happily married inside his home with his family complete, and I walk into that home to forcefully take a man, able-bodied man, and a kid, away from somebody’s hand and you are there looking at me. “So, logically, if people actually sit down and think about it intelligently, how do you snatch somebody from somebody and the person is there looking at you?
“So when you see a man who has settled ties with a woman and decides to move on with his life and you feel that there is something in this man that you like and he likes you, is there a problem there? “I am not a kid. I am 38 years old. I am not about to start hiding myself’ she said.
