“Go Back To Your Husband Immediately” – Nigerian Pastor Tells Tiwa Savage

pp

Following the lingering marital crisis involving popular singer, Tiwa Savage and her husband, Tunji Balogun, a.k.a TeeBillz, lover boy “old school” singer-turned- pastor, Felix Aigbe Libarty has called out the couple to save themselves and the Nigerian music industry from further embarrassment by resolving their differences amicably.

Specifically, the “Ifeoma and 419” crooner, begged Tiwa Savage to return to her husband quietly despite the emotional pains she’s going through at the moment. He said:

TeeBillz is under serious attack from the pit of hell, and as such, Tiwa should not allow the devil to use her husband to destroy her future.

Speaking further, he said:

marr

“It’s one thing to be famous and it’s another to know how to manage fame. I want her (Tiwa Savage) to go back to her husband immediately because there is no divorce spiritually except when the man is no more. I want her to know that if God wants to announce any woman that is matured, He will always match her with a man. In this case, that is what God has done for her.”

“I want Tiwa Savage to begin to understand that whatever is happening to her now is an attack from the pit of hell. Her husband is in deep trouble. I am sure that his pastor has not been able to tell him that he’s under attack.

The devil may not attack you directly, it will attack your partner. Spiritually, as I am seeing it, her husband (TeeBillz) is under attack. Every behaviour her husband is exhibiting now is manipulated.

The Bible says, you have to be there for your husband, and your husband will be there for you. Whatever that is going on now, remains the fact that your husband is being manipulated by spiritual forces that doesn’t want you to grow. And by the time you walk out of your marriage, you are giving the devil the opportunity to destroy your life completely” he counselled.

How My Uncle Inserted His Fingers in My Privates While His Wife Watched – 14yr Old Girl Narrates

Vusumuzi Mthethwa

A cross-border driver has landed in trouble after he molested his own niece. The man has been sentenced to 12 years in jail for fondling and sucking his teenage niece’s breasts before thrusting his fingers into her private parts while his wife watched.

Vusumuzi Mthethwa, 34, of Pumula South, Zimbabwe was convicted of aggravated indecent assault by Bulawayo regional magistrate Chrispen Mberewere on Thursday.

Mthethwa will serve an effective nine years in prison after three years were suspended for five years on condition that he does not within that period commit a similar crime.

In passing the sentence, Mberewere said Mthethwa’s conduct was deplorable and appalling. “You indecently assaulted your niece instead of protecting her.

“Your conduct is deplorable and shameful. The courts have a duty to protect a girl child from people like you by sending them to jail for a lengthy period,” ruled Mberewere.

Revealing what happened, Police prosecutor, Paida Zengeni said on October 17 last year, the complainant who was preparing to write her 2015 ‘O’ Level examinations at Amhlophe High School, went to stay with Mthethwa at his house.

But on October 28 shortly after 4PM, Mthethwa invited his niece to his bedroom where he started caressing her before sucking her breasts in the presence of his wife.

Not done with her, he ordered the wife out of the room before forcefully removing the girl’s panties.

“Mthethwa removed the complainant’s panties and inserted his finger into her private parts several times,” said Zengeni.

The court heard that after committing the crime, Mthethwa threatened to assault his niece if she reported the matter to anyone.

However, his luck ran out after the niece shared her experience with a classmate who in turn informed their headmaster about her friend’s ordeal.
It was the headmaster who reported the matter to the police leading to Mthethwa’s arrest.

The victim was taken to hospital for examination and a medical report which was compiled proved that she was indecently assaulted.

My Coursemates Called Me Daddy – 50yr old UNILAG Best Graduating Masscomm Student

mowarin

50-year-old Elkanah Oghenovo Mowarin was the best graduate of Mass Communication Department, University of Lagos in the 2014/2015 academic session, having finished with 4.75 CGPA.

In this interview, he tells TUNDE AJAJA how it feels graduating at such age

At 50, why did it take you this long to have a degree?
I have had some degrees before now and as a matter of fact, I have been operating in the media industry for more than 20 years, but I know it is important for us to do what we have to do, regardless of age or the level we find ourselves.

I don’t want the emphasis to be on what I have achieved before going to UNILAG, rather I want to inspire and motivate people to do whatever they have to do, at whatever age or level, playing down on what they have before.

So, why did you go back to school?
I opted for undergraduate study because I wanted to have a comprehensive academic knowledge of an industry that I have been operating in for over 20 years. I wanted to have a substantial grasp of the academic dimension of media marketing.

I wanted to take it from the introductory level, like Introduction to Mass Communication, and then grow along that line. I wanted to have a holistic academic knowledge of Mass Communication from the first degree point of view and that was what I did. I needed the necessary academic certification to support my practice.

When you decided to go back to school, were there people who tried to discourage you?
Well, there were those who felt I did not need it. But as an adult, it was a personal decision. I prayed about it and I got a personal conviction to go ahead. And so I set my mind on my goal of obtaining a degree in Mass Communications.

How were you able to combine family and business with academics?
I am a multi-tasking person. I studied in UNILAG for four years as a full time student and I went to school every day and I was in class every time I should.

I live in Lekki with my family, but I had to secure an apartment close to the school due to my commitment to my study. I relied on the services of lecturers, senior students, and others considered to have superior knowledge.

To answer your question directly, it was about setting my mind on a goal which was to get certified on what I have been practising for years. With that in mind, I was able to blend everything together. It was indeed challenging, but God gave me the grace.

You would have had younger people as your course mates, how did you cope?
This is quite hilarious. I recall getting to class and seeing myself amidst students of 16, 17 years old. However, they (my colleagues) were very respectful. I was not arrogant. I was free with everyone. Though it was a challenging time, the fact that we had a good learning environment coupled with the cooperation of my younger colleagues made it enjoyable.

Were there times your younger course mates made you regret your decision of going back to school?
There was never a time. Though there were moments of disagreements, they were not so bad to make me regret going back to school. We were like a family.

There was never a time I thought of jettisoning the idea. I went to school to build capacity. I was very determined. Even if there were distractions and commitments, I refused to be discouraged. I was environmentally blind to things that might want to distract my attention.

Did you relate with them as a father or as colleagues?
I related with them first as colleagues, but those of them who came closer to me as though I were a father or uncle to them, I related with them in like manner. They called me daddy, uncle, and other names to show that they love and respect me.

Do you think you would have done better in your academics if you were younger and single?
Better? I don’t know. I had a 4.75 CGPA. Maybe I would have got 5.00 CGPA just like the overall best graduating student of my set. I really don’t think it is about age.

It is more of setting a goal for myself, attitude and self application to the course. There were younger ones who didn’t have first class and there may be older ones who couldn’t attain such. I believe it is God that gives to whomever He wills.

As the best in your department, did you plan to have a first class or it was by providence?
I was in school for academic knowledge and not with the purpose of bagging a first class. I think it came by providence, moreover, I don’t even consider myself as the most brilliant in my set. However, I was poised to have a good result and I was focused.

The first class feat is a combination of so many elements; like the enabling environment, wonderful lecturers, who were always ready to put us through anywhere we needed help and the seriousness I applied to it; but we give God all the glory. He is the ultimate. Beyond that, I gave it my all.

Since you had experience in what the course entails, would you say it was easy to have it?
Certainly not! Far from being easy. I used to get to school around 7:30am daily. I never missed a class and I never missed taking notes.

I was diligent in our numerous assignments and tests. It was a real struggle; but because I set my mind on it, it was not much of a problem.

However, I can say that it was indeed a very challenging time for me. Prior to my admission, the last time I drank coffee was in the secondary school, but as a student again, I had to rely on coffee to an extent so as to keep me awake and alive. So, I set aside many things to give my studentship 100 per cent attention. I made up my mind to study and make the best out of it.

One would want to assume that your exposure before going back to school must have contributed to your success How much impact did it have?
My exposure to media marketing was of tremendous advantage. I noticed that there was hardly anything I was taught in class that I had not been exposed to before as a media marketing entrepreneur.

So, my exposure assisted me a great lot in my studies. But beyond that, I studied as many times as it came to me. There were instances I read as early as 5am to 7am. Sometimes, I did all night reading.

By my nature, I read a lot. We had lots of assignments and tests, so I had to read. I also had resource persons who were always around to support me. I also had to visit the library to access certain books. I also did a few exercises to keep my body fit.

What interests you about journalism?
A journalist is an information carrier, opinion moulder and well respected in the society. Journalism positions you in any aspect of life: academics, entrepreneurship, governance, among others. It is a well-rounded profession.

Which area did you specialise in?
I majored in broadcasting, but the certificate reads B.Sc. Mass Communication, I had a rounded exposure to all sequences – broadcasting, print, public relations and advertising.

What informed your decision to major in the broadcast sequence?
I chose to major in the broadcast sequence because it best reflects what I have been practising for many years. I am into media marketing, with focus on television content production. So, I thought it necessary for me to be certified in the area I have been operating for years.

You must have had memorable moments. Can you share some with us?
One of the most memorable moments was when I got to the class one day only to discover that my lecturer was a colleague of mine where I had worked before. We were co-managers, and he is now a PhD holder. It was quite an interesting experience. When he saw me, he asked why I was in class and I told him I was his student.

Then he laughed and said he knew I came to acquire knowledge because I had attended several schools before. Another memorable moment was the day I entered class and students were greeting me thinking I was their lecturer, only to later discover that I was their colleague. There were instances when I went to make photocopies of materials and the people there would ask me the class I was lecturing. I told them I was a student and they were amazed. For me, everything was fun.

Do you still have plans of going back to school again?
Knowledge is inexhaustible. We will continue to learn. I love to study. So, I may still go back to school again. Never say never.

Can you tell us your happiest and the most embarrassing moments?
My happiest moments were after the release of semester results and I saw my results, having many As. I felt fulfilled during these times. On the other hand, my most embarrassing moments were the instances when people were not so friendly. This was from some of my course mates. These were people who would ordinarily be my children. Sometimes, they addressed me in an uncomplimentary manner, but I saw such as a price to pay for the environment I found myself. Another instance was, when in a bid to rejoice with my senior colleagues during their convocation party, I sprayed them money. I was later summoned by the management of my department. It was a very embarrassing moment for me. I never wanted to have any confrontation or bad time with my department. I was summoned and verbally cautioned. It was a depressing time for me, but God intervened as it was just a verbal caution.

What is your advice to students?
I will advise students to understand that their primary reason for being in school is to study. They should remain focused and shun cultism, alcoholism, prostitution and all other things that could make them disappoint their parents.

See Adaeze Yobo’s Powerful Message To Women in Abusive Marriages

‘I’m Still 25 and I’m Yet to Achieve Much’-Adaeze Yobo Defends Her Age

Adaeze Yobo got the read the sad story of the woman & mother of 2 who was beaten to death by her husband yesterday. Adaeze then took to her instagram page to share a power message to women in Abusive Marriages.

Read it below:

So sad!!! Marriage is not by force. Heck! Everybody must not marry. The society you’re worried about don’t even care about you. They are the same ones saying RIP on LIB. Pls think about it. Your life matters too. If you are in a similar situation pls pls pls walk out, whatever shame you are trying to hide will still be out there. Its not worth it. You haven’t fullfilled Gods plan&purpose in your life, I beg you not to be selfish. Your purpose in this life is bigger than you, bigger than your husband, bigger than marriage. Never apologise to anyone for leaving a (physically) abusive relationship. ”Ephesians 5:25 says men shld love their own wives as christ loved the church” ~ he gave up his life for us. Then Ephesians 5:28 says husbands shld love their wives as their own bodies”. The same Bible that is against divorce says in 1 corinthians 7:15 that if an unbeliever departs, (from marriage) let him depart” then goes further to say that “a believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances, God has called us to live in peace” if your partner physically abuse you, he has departed from the marriage vows, pls walk away, he doesn’t fear God and if he doesn’t fear God, he is capable of doing the worse to you. I repeat “Your purpose is bigger”, we need you in the world, dont let the devil cut your life short. pray pray pray ??? RIP Ronke shonde? #notodomesticviolence ? ❤❤❤

They are celebrities and their earth-shaking wedding ceremonies happened right before our eyes.

Unfortunately, when their marriages crumbled unexpectedly after a short while, it was also followed with so much scandal, noise and most people, especially fans who see them as their idols, were left in wonder and amazement.

Saturday Beats compiled a list of some of the marriage crashes that shocked Nigerians in recent years.

Tiwa Savage and Tunji Tee-Billz Balogun

Tiwa-Savage-Teebillz (1)

Theirs looked like a match made in heaven; at least that was the picture they painted on social media.
So beautiful did their love seem that rap artiste, Ice Prince, in his song, That Could be Us, praised the couple’s love and told his potential girlfriend that their relationship could be like Tiwa and Tunji’s.

However, Nigerians got the shock of their lives about two weeks ago when Tee Billz went on his Instagram page to rant and tell tales of his wife’s alleged infidelity among other things.

In retaliation, Tiwa Savage granted a no-hold-barred interview where she claimed that her husband was not only a cheat but was an irresponsible man who stole from her.

Although other entertainers have pleaded with both parties to let peace reign for the sake of their son, Jamil, Tiwa has made it known that the marriage is over.

A nine-year-old girl who was among the 65 young girls rescued by the troops from Sambisa forest has embarked on hunger strike, saying she wants to go back to Sambisa forest to meet her Boko Haram husband.

It was gathered that the girl (name withheld) has refused to eat for the past three days insisting that she wanted to go back and reunite with her Boko Haram husband in Sambisa 12 other rescued girls were also discovered to be pregnant while others have already given birth.

My Boyfriend Dumped Me Because I said Genevieve Nnaji Only Makes Me Wet – Actress Ruth Eze

eze

Nollywood actress, Ruth Eze became a popular face in the movie industry not too long ago and she hasn’t been doing badly so far.

However, when she was credited to have said in an interview that actress, Genevieve Nnaji, makes her “wet”, Ruth automatically was tagged a les-bian.

But the actress, who has denied saying such in the interview, claims she meant Genevieve is her role model who she admires greatly. Sadly, the les-bian saga has crashed her 4-year old relationship.

“I am not a les-bian and I can never be a les-bian. My mother is a devout Christian and she is an evangelist. I can never be a les-bian. I lost a four-year old relationship because of that interview.

I never said that; all I said in the interview was that I love Genny very much and I still love her till date.

I don’t care about what anybody says. I don’t judge anyone whether they are a les-bian or not. It is between you and God because the bible says we should not judge.”

Ruth said her ex didn’t believe her side of the story even when she tried to explain to him what happened.

“If you are my boyfriend and you cannot stand by me in times of little trouble, what would happen when a big thing comes? What if it was published later in my career that I was caught in bed with a man and the story turned out to be false eventually? It means he would leave me and my kids when I get married to him.

Ruth however admitted that the man she dated for four years wasn’t so comfortable with her outings.

“He didn’t really have so much issue with my job but whenever I went for a red carpet event and stayed late, he wouldn’t like it. Whenever he was in the country and I stayed out late, he wouldn’t like it. He is based in London. He had issues with anything that kept me out late at night…”

Ruth has not ruled out love as she said she is still looking for that man that would capture her heart and love her for who she is.

“God is going to give me that person that would bear everything with me. I am single. I just want a cool and responsible guy. Someone that is not loud and must be God fearing.

“When it is tough, it is getting better; that is how my mother trained me. It is my career and it is something I love. Anything in life that is going to be good and great comes with a lot of sacrifice,” she said.

UNILAG Students Forced to Sleep in the Rain as School Shut them out of Hostels (Photos)

Students of the University of Lagos have allegedly been forced to sleep in the rain after the management shut students out of the hostel.

According to information gathered, ever since the resumption of students the university management is doing everything in it power to punish the students unjustly.

It was gathered that the school management intentionally is trying to punish the students by enforcing a law barring squatters or visitors into the hostels.

But, because of the limited bed spaces available in the school, most of the students are squatters.

The new law succeeded in throwing most of the students who are squatting with their friends outside the hostels forcing them to sleep in the rain even as the examination period approaches.

Many of the students have frowned at this as they believe the school management is not showing any sympathy to their plight.

“Exams are starting on Monday. There’s blackout. Rain is falling. Yet they don’t allow people in the hostels. Prices are now tripled against the protest time even we have to buy soup 150 per bowl. I’ve been sleeping in classes since Monday” one of the students lamented.

In his defence, Teebillz headed to Clina Lancet Laboratories where he was tested for illegal drugs usage; and according to the results that were released on May 4, 2016, he tested negative for the use of cocaine, cannabis, ecstasy, oxycodone and other illegal drugs.

Now, here’s the twist!

NET NG spoke to medical doctors about this test result to find out what it really means.

According to a medical practitioner who spoke on the condition of anonymity, ‘If a person’s blood is tested for cocaine or other hard drugs 24 hours after use, nothing may be found in such a test. The same thing applies if it was a urine test; after 4 days of using such drugs and you go for a test, nothing may be found’.

Husband Who Caught His wife in Bed With Her “Brother” Cries Out

A 40-year-old man, Mr. Sunday Oladipupo, has asked an Orile Agege Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his marriage with Bukola over alleged adulterous behaviour by his wife.

“I caught my wife in bed with her supposed brother, I want a divorce, ” Oladipupo, a driver, told the court on Thursday.

The complainant lives at 7, Nmbosi Avenue, AIT Road, Alakuko, a suburb of Lagos told the court.

“I caught my wife red-handed with a man she introduced to me as her brother, they were both unclad and in the act.

“She pushed me to beating her because I always feel jealous anytime I see her with another man.

“Before I kill her and myself, it is better we part ways,” he said.

Oladipupo claimed that Bukola did not respect him and left home at will and returned when she liked.

He said that his wife left home since September 2015 with his children, aged four and nine years.

“She was pregnant when she left my house but the most painful part was that her man friend called me on phone and told me to ask my wife about the paternity of our two children,” he said.

The complainant told the court that he was tired of the union and wanted a divorce. However, Bukola denied the allegation but supported the dissolution of the union.

“I am not adulterous and I was not pregnant when I left his house in 2015.

“I left home because he beat me anyhow, I did not have peace of mind with him, I am tired of the marriage, I support the dissolution,” she said.

The Court President, Dr Kayode Whenu, told the couple to maintain the peace and adjourned the matter to May 10 for further hearing.
