Just like Kanye West decided to slug it out with Wiz Khalifa.
It all started yesterday morning when Kanye West announced that he has changed the name of that album to Waves and fellow rapper, Wiz Khalifa, decided to start a row, accusing him of appropriating the title of his mentor Max B’s mixtapes ‘Wave.’
They exchanged a few polite words but trouble started again when Wiz Khalifa tweeted: “Hit this kk and become yourself”
Apparently, Kanye West thought KK was a reference to his wife Kim Kardashian, he had to return back bustling with anger and revenge and also decided to not only drag Amer Rose into drama, he involved her son, three-year-old Sebastian.
“I own your child,” Kanye ranted, a controversial tweet that has many people scratching their head and struggling to deduce what he means.
Khalifa kept it all cool, but his tweet “Hit this kk and become yourself,” was misconstrued by Kanye West to mean a reference to Kim Kardashian, but Khalifa clarify that he was talking about a type of weed.

Reports From TMZ claims that Rob Kardashian has moved into Blac Chyna’s Home about five days ago and he’s been living there since then.
Read Report From TMZ Below:
Rob Kardashian packed a suitcase and moved in with Blac Chyna … at least temporarily … TMZ has learned. Rob, who was living at Khloe’s house, has been at B.C.’s digs for 5 days and counting.
As for how it happened … we’re told Rob made the first move by DM’ing Chyna 2 weeks ago.
We’re told Rob genuinely likes Chyna and is not hooking up to upset his family … but we’re told it has definitely upset the Kardashian brood. Kylie has been at war with Tyga’s baby mama for more than a year.
Rob is using Chyna’s home fitness equipment to train, with a little inspirational help from her.
Rob and Chyna have known each other for a long time … since she lived across the street from him when she was Kim’s best friend.
Our sources say the Kardashians are outraged at Rob’s hookup. They believe Chyna is manipulating everything and that SHE is the one who first reached out. They also say she’s behind Rob’s sudden interest in Instagram postings.
They believe Rob’s horribly depressed and she’s playing into his insecurities for her own gain.
Iconic Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has been accused of allegedly having a daughter, Zara, with a Nigerian woman called Adaeze McArthur.
This news which was first published by Instablog9ja says that the singer has never met Zara who allegedly was born around the same time Kuti’s girlfriend, Yetunde Ademiluyi, delivered their daughter, Adara.
This claim came to light after an anonymous Instagram user confronted Adaeze to confirm the paternity of her daughter, and though Adaeze didn’t know the identity of the person she was chatting with, she said Seun Kuti is Zara’s father and also added that he has never met her.

The corpse of the patient that died of Lassa fever two weeks ago, is still at the National Hospital in Abuja and is yet to be buried.
A source in the hospital told The PUNCH that the family might have abandoned the corpse “because of the manner of the death.”
The 33-year-old newly-married man lived in Jos, Plateau State, but came to see a relative in Kubwa because of his illness. He, however, died within 24 hours of admission at the National Hospital, Abuja.
An employee who pleaded anonymity said:
“The information we got was that the family of the deceased patient are scared that they may contract the disease in the process of the burial. Several calls have been put to them but it seems they are not convinced. A lot of work should be done by enlightening them that the body has been decontaminated and is therefore safe and harmless.”
When contacted, the spokesperson for the National Hospital, Dr. Tayo Haastrup, said the hospital management had been waiting on the Federal Ministry of Health to give proper advice and directive concerning the corpse.
“Nobody is running. Our doctors, nurses and medical staff in the Accident and Emergency Department are prepared for any suspected cases of Lassa fever. We are prepared and there is no cause for alarm. All the kits are available.
“The corpse of the dead patient was well bagged as usual and cannot contaminate anybody. We have informed the Federal Ministry of Health. The ministry, through the Director, Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, Prof. Abdulsalami Nasidi, should advise us appropriately on it. We are waiting for the directive of the ministry.”
However, when contacted, Nasidi told the publication that the family of the dead patient had yet to come and claim it but did not explain why it was so.
The NCDC boss also ruled out cremation of the corpse simply because the death was as a result of Lassa fever.

Nigerian OAP, Toke Makinwa has just made a rather startling revelation on Twitter.
The turn-up queen responded to a fan’s question and declared she’s still searching for love.

Toke Makinwa secretly got married to fitness coach, Maje Ayida in January 2014.
18 months after (June 2015), the marriage suffered a huge setback when news broke that her hubby had impregnated his ex-lover.
Efforts by Maje to apologize to Toke proved abortive
Then in November 2015, Maje sent loving messages to Toke to celebrate her 31st birthday
In December 2015, the duo surprisingly stepped out together at the 10th edition of the Future Awards ceremony which led her fans to believe that she’s worked out her marital issues with Maje.
Now, she’s just declared herself ‘still searching’ with the tweet below…
Does this mean that all is still not well with the marriage despite stepping out together last December?

These entertainers have reached for a higher calling beyond their entertainment career and have decided to roll into politics.
So here’s a comprehensive list of popular Nigerian entertainers that decided to go into politics whether by appointment or by election.
Feel free to drop your comments at the end of the list… IT’S YOUR OBLIGATION! *smiles*
1. Desmond Elliot

Controversial reality TV star/Mother of two, Kim Kardashian has talked about breastfeeding her newborn son, Saint, revealing she initially found it difficult.
She also disclosed that Saint’s big sister, North doesn’t like it when she breastfeeds.
Writing on her website, Kim admitted:
“I’m about 2 months into breastfeeding and I’m not gonna lie – it can be time-consuming. “For some reason, North hates when I feed the baby, and she lays on my lap so Saint can’t be right in front of me to eat, LOL!
I’ve started to include her: Sometimes I will pump and have her feed him the bottle. That totally worked! She loved helping me, as opposed to my attention being off of her, and now she is my little helper.””I feel super lucky that breastfeeding is easy for me and I produce a lot of milk – so much that I’ve taken over my mom’s freezer with tons of milk!”
The reality TV Star then explained that using a nipple shield made breastfeeding so much easier for her.
“I find the baby feeds better, and it allows me to never get irritated nipples or anything because they’re protected by the shield. The hospital suggested shields to me, since at the beginning I found nursing super painful and difficult, so I took some home and never looked back.”
On breastfeeding in public, she wrote:
Now that I’m a mom, I say whatever makes you comfortable goes. I still personally wouldn’t breastfeed at a restaurant with a bunch of people I didn’t know staring at me.
I’ve seen this before and remember tweeting how shocked I was. Now that I’m a mom, I’m not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids and can’t leave to breastfeed one kid in the bathroom while leaving the others at the table,” she wrote.
“But I still personally wouldn’t do it, unless it was an emergency situation and I was fully covered. I would however breastfeed in front of my girlfriends. I think it’s such a natural experience and I’m not shy about that.”
16 years after he was first elected, 63 year old Vladimir Putin’s just might secretly be the world’s richest man.
In April, Putin declared 2014 income of 7.65 million roubles ($119,000). He listed the ownership of two modest apartments and a share in a car parking garage. .BBC spoke to a number of former Kremlin insiders.
From their exiles around the world, they allege he is indeed the richest.
Sergei Kolesnikov told the programme he worked for the Kremlin to collect money from the super-rich, which they believed was to be spent on healthcare, but which was ultimately used “to help build a $1 billion palace for Mr Putin on the Black Sea coast”.
Mr Kolesnikov was also allegedly filmed discussing Mr Putin’s secret fortune – investments of up to $440 million – with another Kremlin insider.
Sergei Pugachev, an exiled oligarch who says he helped Mr Putin become president, told the BBC he was:
“preoccupied with wealth from the start”. He said he visited one of the presidential palaces with Mr Putin during his first term. “We talked about it, he didn’t hide it, he knew he wanted to leave office a wealthy man,” he said
Adam Szubin, acting Treasury secretary for terrorism and financial crimes, said in an interview with BBC Panorama that the Russian president has been amassing secret wealth.
He declined to comment on a 2007 CIA report estimating Putin’s wealth at $40 billion, but he said the Russian leader’s stated wealth is an underestimation.
“He supposedly draws a state salary of something like $110,000 a year,” Szubin said. “That is not an accurate statement of the man’s wealth, and he has longtime training and practices in terms of how to mask his actual wealth.”
Russian political analyst Stanislav Belkovsky told the BBC he had information from “confidential sources” to also put Mr Putin’s wealth at “$40bn in assets”. He said:
“I’m still sure Putin is the richest man in Europe, one of the richest men in the world.”
Putin and his cronies dismiss all claims of his reported wealth and corruption as “pure fiction”. The line from Putin himself is:
“I am the wealthiest man not just in Europe but in the world. I collect emotions. I am wealthy in that the Russian people have twice entrusted me with leadership of a great nation.”
Unofficial sources have put his net-worth in 2015 in the range of $100 Billion making him the richest man in the world at this point.
Vladimir Putin’s Net Worth is the highest among his peers making him the richest president in the world and also the richest politician of them all.
You know our Nigerian celebs have zero chills when it comes to women… Of course you do! Following the reports of polygamy being legalized in Eritrea, lots of people have made jokes about going to the country to find their wives.
The latest of them all is Producer/Label owner, Don Jazzy, who shared a tweet of himself making it into a plane claiming he’s jetting off to the country.
Urrrr, just in case anyone knows if there’s a bus heading to the country, just contact me! *GRIN* Lol.
Delectable actress, Lilian Esoro who is with her first child, stepped out yesterday in style as she rocked this fabulous Asian robe inspired outfit by Tiannahstyling.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has disclosed that Nigerians should be prepared for more shocking revelations on corruption, which are yet to be released.
The Minister raised the alarm that treasury looters had resorted to fighting back, using various means.
Speaking to chiefs of newspapers on Tuesday, he is quoted as saying:
“When I met with the news and political editors in Lagos on Sunday, I said, among other things, that the government is aware that in fighting corruption, corruption will also fight back.
“I also said that those who stole us dry are powerful. They have newspapers, radio and television stations as well as online platforms, and an army of supporters to continuously deride the government’s war against corruption.”Well, I can tell you today that corruption is already fighting back, and it is fighting hard and dirty.
When we make subsequent revelations, you will be more shocked than you are now.”
Sponsored articles have started appearing in the newspapers and in the social media while ‘Talking Heads’ have started making the rounds in the electronic media, all deriding the fight against corruption as well as this Administration. Not stopping there, they have been creating distractions by sponsoring articles in both local and international media to deride the Administration’s policies generally, tag the President a budding dictator and even write off his 2016 budget. We know that the sole purpose of these attacks is to distract attention from the war on corruption.
“It is saddening that some otherwise credible voices have unwittingly allowed themselves to be railroaded into the bandwagon of pro-corruption orchestra. They engage in sophistry to try to rally Nigerians against the anti-corruption battle.
“Also, one of those who benefited from the Dasukigate even had the temerity to deride the anti-corruption war as ‘selective’, when in saner climes he should have been so ashamed of himself that he would have apologised to the nation and hunkered down…for good. These sponsored attacks are not about to stop. In fact, they will become more intense and more coordinated in the days ahead. But the good news is that we are winning the war. Nigerians are now talking more about corruption. Nigerians are now counting the cost of corruption to their lives.
“We call on Nigerians not to be taken in by the antics of the sponsored denunciation of the anti-graft war. The treasury looters, who have so much resources in their kitty, and their cohorts will throw everything but the kitchen sink at this Administration, But we have no doubt that Nigerians are discerning enough to know the truth which, in the words of President Muhammadu Buhari, is that unless Nigeria kills corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria.
“This Administration will neither be distracted nor intimidated by anyone into abandoning or weakening the fight against corruption, which is a war of survival for our nation. No amount of media or other attacks will stop the fight. The pseudo-analysts and hack writers will labour in vain in heir quest to stop the train of this anti-corruption fight.”
The minister said the information on corruption was meant to sensitise the nation on the evil of corruption.
“Let me restate, for emphasis, that when we give instances of mind-boggling acts of corruption, our intention is not to vilify anyone but to sensitise Nigerians as to how harmful corruption is to the country and the people. The truth is that what we have revealed so far is nothing but the tip of the iceberg. Nigerians should stay tuned for more shocking revelations in the days ahead.”
For those doubting the allegations, the minister said they should investigate the information he provided to know if it was true or not.
He added:
“Do you know that What has so far been revealed as per taking in the Dasukigate is about N54.8billion Whereas, in the entire 2015 all the zonal intervention act cost N52 billion. This is the cost of corruption for you.
When the money meant to construct roads is looted, the end result is that the roads are not built and the people suffer and even die in avoidable road accidents. When the money meant to provide electricity is looted, we all are perpetually sentenced to darkness. When the money meant for healthcare is pocketed by a few, we are unable to reduce maternal and infant mortality. These are the costs of corruption. Let us not just talk about corruption in the abstract, let us be counting its cost to our lives in order to drive home the point that corruption must be tackled decisively for Nigerians to feel the impact of governance.”
The government has been criticized for disobeying court orders or trampling on the rights of accused people. Mohammed disagreed.
He said:
“What are we even talking about? Is the human right of the 55 persons more important than human rights of 170 Nigerians? But again, let me make it clear that we do not disobey court orders”.
When prodded to provide information on the 55 persons, he said the easiest way is to go to the court or the EFCC to find out who they are as they all have one pending case or the other in the court bordering on corruption.
Yesterday, we reported that Wizkid’s camp confirmed the news of his baby with American-Guinean vixen Binta Diamond when they were reached for comment, but the new mum is already leveling accusations against the ‘Ayo’ singer.
In an interview with The Shade Room, Binta speaks out for the first time since the news of her child with Wizkid surfaced on social media, accusing him of abandoning their child.
The new mum said they started dating right after he had a child with Oluwanishola Ogudugu and they were together on-and-off for two years.
In 2015, she became pregnant and Wizkid promised to take responsibility and embrace being a dad, but since the birth of their son Ayodeji Ibrahim, the singer has refused to meet his son and has cut off all contact with her, hence why she is reaching out through the media. All she wants of him, she told The Shade Room, is “to step up and be a man about his responsibilities.”
Meanwhile, here’s Wizkid’s tweet yesterday:
Up! Miss me with every B.S! Living and enjoying life! New music soon ?????
Comedian, Bovi lost his mum, Madam Margaret Ugboma to the cold hands of death on Monday January 25, 2016 at the age of 58.
Before her death, Late Madam Margaret had a good relationship with her son, Bovi. Over time, he’s celebrated her a number of times on his social media pages.
Just 3 months ago, on her birthday, Bovi shared her photos as he wrote:
‘Still celebrating my dear mum. I’ve searched all day for the right words to describe how I feel and the more I try, the more I feel like crying. I cherish everything she’s taught me but one I am forever grateful is the habit of reading.
‘She would say “don’t worry, when you grow up and have a house of your own, you can watch tv all you like”. Little did she know that I was watching tv because I was trying to figure how to get in it. Well the good thing is the reading she insisted on taught me how to get in the TV. She started me off with pacesetters.
‘And then gave me an unsteady supply of James Hadley Chase. But she forbade me touching her mills and boon (romance and temptation). She also tried to stop me from reading Hints magazine. And that’s what got me curious. ( if only she knew, she would have called it mathematics by hints- I’ve always hated mathematics) Oh well, I don’t know how to end this story…. Maybe it’s because we’re nowhere near the end of it afterall’.
It’s a very sad time for popular comedian Bovi Ugboma. According to reports, the 36-year-old funny man’s mother, Margaret Ugboma, tragically passed away on Monday.
The cause of her death is still unknown.
The news was made public by fellow comedian Basketmouth on Instagram as he penned a condolence message to Bovi.
He shared a photo of Bovi’s mother with the message: ”It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them. @officialbovi your mum is in a better place. Stay strong.
I love you bro”.
Just last year, Bovi celebrated his mother on her birthday on Instagram, calling her the love of his life.
The Lagos State Government on Tuesday said it would no longer allow social functions and parties in public schools just as owners of private schools across the state have been warned to comply with rules and regulations guiding their operations.
The Deputy Governor of the State, Dr. Mrs Idiat Oluranti Adebule who disclosed this while briefing the media on the strategic focus of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration on education for 2016, said the Governor had directed that schools should no longer be used for social functions.
She said:
“The Governor has directed that schools will no longer be used for social activities any longer. We want to implore members of the public to report any school that violates this directive and we would ensure that defaulting schools are sanctioned accordingly.”
Adebule, who also oversees the Ministry of Education, said the state government was putting a searchlight on the standard of education in the private schools, saying it will no longer be business as usual for such schools that undermine best practices.
She said as a first step, the government will engage with private school owners and proprietors to intimate them on the action plan of the present administration towards improving the standard of education, saying that though government is willing to partner with private schools, they must also be willing to adhere strictly to the acceptable standard.
“Much as private schools are partners in the sector, we would not fold our hands and watch the standard flopped. Some schools even operate without registering with the government. We want to urge such schools to do the right thing or government will have no choice but to do what it has to do,” she said.
Earlier, Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh, while giving a detailed presentation on the policy thrust of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration for the education sector, said the state government intends to construct the biggest digital library.
He said the government was already at the planning stage of the library, while the actual establishment of the project would commence in the next quarter of the year.
He said the state government will build 10 new model schools with state of the art facilities, while two new technical colleges will be built in the course of the year in areas where such facilities are urgently needed.
On the Ibile Tablets, Bank Olemoh said 324,000 tablets to Senior Secondary School students, adding that plans have been concluded to register all students in both public and private schools in the state under the Lagos State Student Personal Administration Number (LASPIN) project to aid proper planning.
On the free meal in schools project, he said the state government is currently perfecting its framework for the eventual take off, saying that the project is expected to on the one hand, enhance the learning capacity of the pupils and on the other, boost the economy of the state.
