Jude Okoye’s signee, Cynthia Morgan, whose white Range Rover automobile was stolen few weeks ago, now moves around in taxis, Naij reports.
A source revealed to Naij that, at the moment, she is quite down psychologically and emotionally. She has also decided to be indoors, keeping to herself most of the time.
The source was quoted as saying:
“But if it is important for her to go out, she takes taxis. I actually understand her grief because she said goodbye to that club barely six months ago when the Range Rover arrived, but she is back to square one now. It hurts everybody.”
The car was allegedly stolen about two weeks ago from a compound in Omole Phase1. The driver, who was later arrested by Cynthia, was the first to report the theft incident at Grammar School police station, Ojodu, Lagos.
Efforts to recover it have so far proven abortive. Cynthia was away in Abuja as at the time of the theft..
My woman crush, Toyin Aimakhu has been in the news a lot lately, from her messy divorce to a messy breakup with ex boyfriend, Seun Egbegbe and now stating that if she has to marry again it would be to a white man.
This time, she was busy minding her own business, when a follower told her he hated her and that he cannot believe she left her “graduate” estranged husband, Adeniyi Johnson only to date an “agbero” Seun Egbegbe.
Blac Chyna’s mom, Tokyo Toni, is NOT happy with the Kardashian family — but what else is new?
She took to Instagram to pop ALL the way off about the family’s refusal to congratulate or acknowledge Rob and Blac Chyna’s engagement.
She continued by sharing a meme of a few of the Kardashian/Jenner girls and Blac Chyna at a wedding and used the opportunity to say the family isn’t invited to the ceremony.
Toni also took a shot at Blac’s ‘bestie’ — is she coming for Amber Rose?
Popular vloger, Toke Makinwa has never been one to exchange words with her fans on Instagram, but the actress seems to have devised a means to respond to all the criticisms she gets: Twitter.
Yesterday, the media personality took to the social media platform to address the marriage question flung her way every time by fans who feel she belongs in a man’s home, especially the home of her estranged husband, Maje Ayida.
“They don’t care if you found the cure to a deadly disease, if you have 4 degrees, if you are saved spiritually,” she tweeted yesterday, adding, “All that matters is marriage.”
They don't care if u found the cure to a deadly disease, if u have 4 degrees, if u are saved spiritually.. All that matters is marriage
Recently, Makinwa clarified her status through a series of posts where she maintained that she is now single. The 31-year-old’s marriage to trainer Maje Ayida crumbled last year after he cheated on her and also put his mistress in the family way. Before now, there were speculations that she had made peace with Ayida, but the OAP set the records straight in early March.
Now she is firing back at her critics who always barrage her with the marriage question. “Love what you do, love your life. Be thankful always,” she said, and then gave thanks. “Thank you lord for answering every single prayer I have uttered of late. It’s like film trick! Truly you are GOD.”
Love what you do, love your life. Be thankful always
According to Premium Times report, the Kwara State Government on Wednesday denied that president of the senate, Bukola Saraki, was receiving salaries for four years after his tenure as governor of the state ended.
The government was reacting to the claim of an investigator with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, who testified before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, that Saraki was drawing salary from Kwara Government after he left office in 2011 and had been elected senator.
A statement by the Secretary to State Government, Isiaka Gold, denied the EFCC claims, saying it has only been paying Mr. Saraki’s pension since he left office.
The state government said the last amount it paid Mr. Saraki as salary was N291,474.00 meant for May, 2011 – his last month in office.
“From June 2011, former Governor Saraki started receiving his pension which was N578,188.00 as other past governors in the country.”
The statement added that “after the review of pensions of former political office holders by the State Pension Board, the former governor’s pension increased to N1,239,493.94 monthly from October 2014 to date.
“Kwara State Government, therefore, dismissed as false and misleading the allegation that former Governor Saraki was receiving salaries after the expiration of his two-term tenure as governor of the state.”
The government said it “advised interested stakeholders to seek clarification from appropriate authority to avoid misleading the public.”
Similarly, the Director General of the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Constituency Office, Abdulwahab Isa, explained that since the former governor left office in May 2011, “his pension which was paid into a special account has been managed by a group of trustees and used for education endowment for students across the state.”
The Code of Conduct Tribunal is trying Mr. Saraki for corruption and false declaration of assets charges brought against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau
The University of Warwick has launched an investigation after a Nigerian student reported bananas in her shared school accommodation had been graffitied with racial slurs.
Faramade Ifaturoti posted a picture on Twitter, writing: “Just entered the kitchen and look at what one of my flatmates has done. I am extremely disgusted.”
‘Monkey’ and ‘nigga’, can clearly be seen written on the fruit.
The tweet quickly gathered attention and has been retweeted almost 3,000 times. The university responded to it, saying: “We’re really sorry you’ve had to experience this. It is completely unacceptable. Please DM us your email and we will escalate.”
She told BuzzFeed she felt “targeted” and that “this is not the first time something like this has happened”. In February, Ifaturoti had also complained about racism in a tweet, when she wrote: “Racism is very real. Especially in this Warwick I can’t lie.”
Ifaturoti also expressed disappointment at the university’s response. Other Warwick students were quick to express their dismay – and anger – at both the incident and the university’s response. She said “I’m highly disappointed that it took a Twitter escalation in order for you to respond.”

Prophet Mboro who claimed he ascended to heaven on Easter Sunday and took selfies, even with angels, could face fraud charges, Daily Sun SA reports.
The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities said they would lay charges of fraud against him if rumours that his church was selling the alleged selfies proved to be true.
Social media sites were abuzz over the weekend after the heavenly allegations which further claimed that the pastor took the selfies. A man known only as Mr Nkuna, claiming to be Mboro’s spokesman, reportedly said the pictures were on sale for R5 000.
“We encourage people to read the Bible for themselves, and not rely on others to interpret it for them!” said commission chairwoman Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva.
“We believe Mboro is just looking for ways to extort money from people. We know he never went to heaven. He is deceiving people, We’re going to summon him to explain to us whether he said those things or if it’s a joke.” he concluded

Two pregnant women collapsed and died in Bauchi, yesterday, while they were waiting to be screened by the Verification Team from the office of the Account General of the state government, Vanguard reports.
The two pregnant women (names withheld) were among the over 6,000 teachers in the state that were asked to assemble at the state local government education secretariat for screening before collecting their salaries.
Vanguard gathered from an eyewitness, Abubakar Yusuf, a teacher at the Baba Didi primary school that the first woman, who was seven months pregnant, fainted when the crowd were pushing to be verified, a situation that triggered a congestion during the exercise.
He said they all assembled at the local government
He added:
“Some of the people who came early were lucky enough to be verified, but as the crowd kept increasing, people began to push each other.
In the process, an unidentified pregnant woman fainted and went into a comma.” “Another pregnant woman also collapsed and had a miscarriage instantly. The two pregnant women were rushed to the hospital for treatment. We later heard that they died.”
I woke up to the reality of the fact that in a twinkle of an eye ones personality, character and image built over a life time could crumble with so much ease without the victim been in the know.
Today I write to tell .. is it my story? Or is it a story? Well I don’t even have the words to caption it in anyway, but do know I was a victim who knew not what was been done with my image or pictures. Instagram, Facebook etc are lovely apps but in as much the rate of impersonation is alarming.
To cut the story short .. a fraud star picked my pictures from instagram and opened a Facebook account with my picture and another name (Olanipekun Lizzy) which isn’t or wasn’t mine and duped alot of intending male solicitors to the tune of =N=2.5 million naira.
Unfortunately for him, karma caught up with him and now he is in custody of the law enforcement agents. As amazed as I am on this Carlos act of impersonation, I would like to use this medium to disassociate my self from ALL the fraudulent acts done using my pictures as I was never in the know nor do I know the fraudster from anywhere.
For all his deeds he shall take full responsibility for his actions and would be purnished according to Laws of the Land. On a final note, I would like to thank captors of this fraudster as they have saved me from further embarrassments and also others who could fall victim to his deceitful acts and evil schemes. Thank you very much and God bless us all.?

A Nigerian woman has unkindly blasted a man said to be a ‘pastor‘, who floods her phone with his naked photos without her asking… The lady published the man’s nudes on Facebook telling her Facebook friends to warn him off.
“Can someone or people that know this *expletive* man tell him to stop sending me such pictures to my phone on Whatsapp,”
She wrote.
Casting out the man whose name is given as Jim Bakare.
From the photos, it’s seen that the man is in varying stages of undress… the lady also claims he asked for her hand in marriage.
Read her post:
Also, a quick check on Facebook shows that this is not the first time the so-called Bakare is harassing women on social media.
On March 23, another female Facebook user called him out… she said he was a ‘pastor’ who shares religious posts on his page, but slides into her DM to post ‘atrocious’ contents.
She then published the Whatsapp messages he sent her.
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and former first lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan, were spotted boogying at the burial ceremony for the mother of Ebonyi Governor, Dave Umahi.

On Tuesday the police recovered corpses of two missing pupils from a church in the community, Christ Crusaders’ Deliverance Ministry, at Matogun, in the Lambe area of Ogun State.
The deceased – six-year-old Isaac Ayegbo, a primary 2 pupil, and Ayomide Innocent, 4, who was in Nursery 1 – were reportedly found inside the church’s vehicle after they were declared missing on Sunday. The deceased’s parents are neigbours.
It was learnt by PUNCH Metro that Ayomide’s mother, while travelling to the Republic of Benin on Friday, brought him to Isaac’s mother to look after him.
It was learnt that the children, after taking their lunch on Sunday, were playing outside Ayegbos’ residence, which was opposite the church, when they went missing.
Isaac’s father, Abiodun Ayegbo, was said to have reported the duo’s disappearance at the Agbado Police Division on the same day, but he was told to come back after 24 hours, which he did.
He said:
“Ayomide was my friend’s son and he was brought to my wife when his mother travelled.
“She did not take him along because of his school because she would spend about six months there. They (Isaac and Ayomide) came back with my wife from church on Sunday and she gave them food.
“After eating, they went playing around the house. It was my grandmother who raised the alarm when she did not see them. I was told on the telephone to come home when they could not be found.
“I was called this morning (Tuesday) from the station and on getting there, the policemen took me to Christ Crusaders’ Deliverance Ministry, where their corpses were recovered.”
It was learnt that an angry mob would have set the church ablaze, but for the intervention of armed policemen deployed in the area.
Abiodun’s brother, Kunle Ayegbo, said he found the slippers Isaac wore on the day he went missing inside a car on the church premises, adding that about eight pairs of sandals were also found inside a bus, where their corpses were recovered.
He said the discovery made him sense that something had gone amiss and urged the police to thoroughly investigate the matter to unravel those responsible for the dastardly act.
“The police initially wanted to change the fact that the children were found dead on the church premises, but we stood our grounds.
I took some pictures in the church but we were not allowed to take the picture of the children. I found Isaac’s slippers inside a car and about eight other sandals in a bus. I suspect foul play and want this case to be properly investigated and the culprits brought to book.
“Some boys in the community nearly set the church on fire. The policemen and I had to calm them down. We want justice on this matter,” he said.
The publication learnt that Ayomide’s father, Nouanti Innocent, passed out when the news of his son’s death was broken to him and he had yet to regain consciousness as of Tuesday evening. His wife had yet to be informed of the incident.
A pastor at the headquarters of the church in the Akute area of the state, Mr. Yemi Adebisi, who spoke on behalf of the church, said the incident was still a mystery as there were guards manning the premises around the clock.
He said the remains of the children were discovered by some members of the church who wanted to sleep inside the bus before the commencement of a vigil.
He said:
“The corpses were discovered around 11pm when some church members wanted to sleep inside the bus. We are having a five-day vigil.
They alerted the pastor and he called me immediately. We have reported the matter to the police. The vehicle where the corpses were found belongs to the church and it has been out of order for years. People usually sleep inside it.
“There are guards who man the place all day and all night. I can’t understand the mystery surrounding it. It was a strange occurrence and it has destabilised everybody. It is a major challenge to the church.”
The Ogun State Police spokesperson, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the pastor of the church, Babatunde Olakunle, and a church worker, Adewale Babalola, had been arrested.
He said:
“We recovered two corpses on the church premises and had been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy.
“We have commenced our investigation. The pastor of the church and a church worker were arrested.”
Actor, Emeka Ike has been pronounced the interim president of Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), pending its elections.
The National Treasurer of the AGN, St. Maradona J. Mikevine said the guild has adopted Ike to temporarily serve for 2 years and thereafter, conduct a ‘unified election.’
It would be recalled that on March 23, the National Secretary of AGN, Femi Durojaiye, in a statement had said the former President, Ibinabo Fiberesima would step down as the president and Emeka Ike, who has been battling over the position would take over as the president.
However, Mikevine solicited the cooperation of Nollywood, the actors’ fraternity, the Nigerian public and the media saying,
“It has become germane, expedient and imperative for me to call this Press Conference to clear the air and set the record straight in respect of the above subject matter and the leadership crisis rocking Actors Guild of Nigeria.
“Since the judgement on March 16, 2015 that sacked Ibinabo Fiberesima as president of AGN and also dissolved members of the BOT and the subsequent dismissal of the appeal cum Stay-of-execution by the DEFENDANTS (Ibinabo and the former BOT) on March 23, 2016, I have been inundated with calls from well-meaning Nigerians, Nollywood stakeholders, politicians, Media Editors, security agencies to clarify issues and point the way forward as to who I have endorsed to lead ACTORS GUILD OF NIGERIA since the judgement directly mentions my name as the PLAINTIFF.
“Because of the Ibinabo-led faction, the dissolved BOT members and some stakeholders in Nollywood are still finding it difficult to obey the judgement of a competent court of Jurisdiction and accept the current reality that “POWER HAS CHANGED HANDS” in AGN.
“To this end, our victory at the court should NOT be interpreted or perceived as a victory for me (ST. MARADONA J. MIKEVINE) BUT a victory for us “EMEKA IKE AND HIS EXECUTIVES”.
“Therefore, in trying to point the way forward I propose that since the parties involved in the leadership crisis; Segun Arinze and Ibinabo Fiberesima have both ruled AGN for two (2 years) each, it will only be proper in the interest of peace, justice, fairness and good conscience for Emeka Ike, his state and national executives to be allowed to assume the leadership of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for Two (2 years) LEGITIMATELY in compliance with the court judgement after which a unified election can now be conducted.
“This is the best way forward after years of injustice and unfairness perpetrated against EMEKA IKE and his EXECUTIVES. The Court has given its verdict; the industry should please allow us enjoy the fruit of our victory at the court,” the National secretary stated.
Olumo Rock is one of the tourist destinations in the West African country where some indigenes of Egbaland hid during a civil war which broke out in the 19th century.
The rock served as a shelter for many of the survivors, who were said to have hidden in specific areas inside the caves located inside the rocks to evade attacks from enemies.
Some of these people eventually built small apartments inside the rocks and created places where they carried out their daily activities for about three years without getting into town.
It was not until after the war that most of these people started coming out of their hiding to see the other people who survived the brutality of that period. In a chat with Vivian Plus+ , an elderly woman said she was the ‘Iya Orisa’ of Olumo (meaning the mother goddess) of the rock.
Chief Mrs Sinatu Aduke Sanni explained how she grew up under the rock and witnessed the coronation of about four Alake of Egbaland, as well as her strong belief in the god of the rock which has been protecting her.
She claimed she was 131 years of age. “The rock is the protector of every Egba indigene till date and we are proud of what we have,”
Adalabu Seribor, is now a JSS II student at Izon College, Bomadi-Overside, Delta State. While giving reasons for his decision, he said, “I decided to go to school because I perpetually feel the pain of being an illiterate in this modern world where everything has to do with English and education.
My mother died during child birth when I was a little boy while my father was a hunter. I went through pains and hardship at my tender age to adulthood. I went through struggles all through my life history.
I had the opportunity to go to school at my young age, when a relative who was a magistrate in Bayelsa State took me to his house. But because of early morning beatings due to my failure to greet him when rising from bed, I went back to my father.
I continued in hard labour to survive in life, which I am still doing. I realized that without education, one cannot do well in this present society. I also do not want a situation whereby someone else would interpret or write for me if eventually I am chosen to hold an office in my community.
I make a living by pushing wheelbarrow. After school hours, I go back home to look for work to do, which I have been doing for a living. I pay my school fees from there. I am determined to complete my education because of the pains in my heart. I do various menial jobs for a living.
I pack dirt from gutters; I pack sand, clear grasses in people’s compounds and pack soak-away faeces in the dead of the night. By the grace of God, I will finish from this school. I will then proceed to Teachers’ Training College. I want to teach and I advised young boys and girls wasting their time and years roaming the streets to go to school.
If I can go to school, then why are young people wasting themselves.” His class teacher, Edsemi Anesah, described him as a committed and hardworking student., adding that: “He is the oldest student in the school and I advise young people out there to emulate him.”
