On what propels him:
Well, it’s easy: fearlessness. It’s not arrogance; it’s fearlessness. People dog themselves before they give themselves an opportunity to fail. So I think they let other people’s insecurities bring their doubts down. I don’t let that stop anything I’m doing. It’s never worked out for me in the past, so I think that listening to myself and focusing on what I needed to do puts me in that category. So if I wanted to rap or if I wanted to yodel, I think I would have just done it anyway with the confidence of me saying, “I’m gonna do it.” People usually have a lack of confidence due to insecurities. Once again, it’s not arrogance. It’s just being very aware and fearless of doing things or willing to try.
On the concept behind his numerous tattoos:
Usually, it just comes from us partying or being in some exciting environment. Mostly it’s just having fun. For me, I don’t try to focus too much on particulars when getting a tattoo. Granted sometimes it has a deep meaning, like a milestone, and sometimes it’s just a stepping-stone in my life. I’ll look at a tattoo and say, “Oh, I remember where I was at when I got this tattoo.” Those moments are captured within the tattoos. I believe overthinking is probably what most people do, so I just try to let it flow. I use that same philosophy when I am getting my own artwork tattooed on me. I give my tattoo artist a lot of freedom.
Everyone always remembers their first tattoo. My first tattoo was a Jesus with musical notes. Basically signifying that God gave me the gift to sing. I was 13, but my mom didn’t know I got it. When she saw it, she went crazy, like, “What are you doing?” I showed her. I said, “It’s Jesus, mama, look.” So she kind of cooled down, but I still got in trouble.
The latest ink I’ve got is probably my head.
On his reputation as being a rebel:
I would just say that I would rather be an inspiration and not a role model. Make your own decisions. You don’t have to rebel just to rebel. You don’t have to accept just to accept. If you want to get a tattoo, if you think that’s your thing, then that’s cool. I personally think that now, not having a tattoo is kind of like a statement in itself. Our generation is gonna be old, tatted, and we’re gonna look so dope. So, it’s a choice. When my fans can say, “I want to get tatted or I don’t want to get tatted.” I don’t look at them any differently.
On his daughter, Royalty:
When I look at her, I see myself. I see a better version of myself. I just see her future. There’s no need to go backwards. At the end of the day, you learn that life is all about choices. Life is about responsibility and, actually, life is about love. Seeing my daughter embodies everything that I need to feel a sense of fulfillment and believe in myself. Being able to have her in my life, it’s just been amazing.
Nigerian Senate president, senator Bukola Saraki has vowed to fight on amid growing calls for his resignation following allegations of financial fraud as contained in the Panama Papers scandal.
The embattled former governor of Kwara State has pointed fingers at political opponents who, according to him, are still bitter over his emergence as Senate president, Premium Times reports.
“There’s a case in the Tribunal and a resultant appeal at the Court of Appeal,” he said in a statement. “The underlining philosophy of our legal system is that an accused person is presumed innocent until found guilty.”
“Those who are contemplating calls for resignation want to circumvent the judicial system. They are obviously being sponsored by some politicians.
“The Senate President is not contemplating any resignation. He will surely have his day in court.”
Saraki, currently on trial at the code of Conduct Tribunal for false asset declaration, has been accused of maintaining several secret offshore assets in tax havens and hiding four assets found to be in his wife’s name in violation of Nigeria’s code of conduct law.
He however claimed the controversial assets belonged to the estate of his wife’s rich and famous family, and that the law did not mandate him to declare such category of assets.
His trial at the CCT has been adjourned to April 18.

43-year-old hip hop artist South African Selwyn Ngwenya, has spoken out against porn and masturbation,
calling it “dangerous demons“.
Selwyn who is in the process of becoming a pastor at the Kingdom Life Cathedral in Krugersdorp, raged against the evils of these vices on his Facebook some days back, because they are demonic and allow evil spirits into your life.

On Thursday, April 7, 2016, Nollywood actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima, was granted bail in the sum of N2million by Justice Samuel Oseji of the Lagos State Court of Appeal.
Justice Samuel Oseji stated that the bail was granted to her because of her health condition.
The appellate court made the decision to release her temporarily in consideration of her breast cancer plight.
The former Actors Guild of Nigeria president was granted the N2million bail, with two sureties in like sum.
This will be second bail she has received in respect to the case.
In 2006, Fiberesima spent 93 days at the Kirikiri Prison in Lagos for running away from the scene of the accident that killed Dr. Suraj Giwa.
The actress is now set to travel out of the country to receive treatment for her breast cancer condition.

Reports has been going round that a woman, who was part of some Lagosians that woke up very early 2 days ago to queue for fuel before 7:00am, was seen in labour.
According to the report, a pregnant woman suddenly went into labour early morning today, before at Anthony bus stop taxi Park by VIO/LASTMA office, Lagos, but fortunately for her, some women who were around with their wrappers decided to help take the delivery while some people were calling the emergency ambulance.
With the woman in labour, those on the queue forgot about their mission that early morning as they tried to ensure that the young mother and the baby are safe.

Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s cousin, Azibaola Roberts, remains in detention over a $40million (N12.7b) contract obtained from the Office of the National Security Adviser(ONSA) to ‘pacify’ militants in the Niger Delta.
Roberts, who was arrested alongside colleague Dakoru Atukpa, is the Managing Director of Kakatar Construction and Engineering Company Limited and One-Plus Holdings.
Gordy Uche (SAN), accused the EFCC of embarking on a vendetta mission against the ex-President.He said Roberts is being persecuted because of his blood link with Jonathan.
The EFCC arrested Roberts and Dakoru on March 23 as part of the ongoing probe of 300 companies involved in phantom contracts at the ONSA.
It was gathered that as at last night, the suspects, who could not meet their bail terms, were still with the EFCC.
A source in the commission said:
“The suspects were arrested in respect of payment of $40million by ONSA for a contract which was tagged as purchase of tactical equipment for Special Forces.
“When they interacted with our investigators, they could not explain what the contract was meant for. They said they used the money to pacify militants in the Niger Delta.
“Even though we wanted to accept their claim, there is no documentary evidence to show how the $40m contract was awarded, how it was disbursed and the list of beneficiaries.
The case is not about being a blood relation of a former President or not. Is he the only relation of the ex-President?
We are looking into payments made by ONSA and $40miilion was advanced without any record of how the contract or how it was awarded or done.”
The Head of Media and Publicity at the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, who confirmed the investigation of Jonathan’s cousin and Dakoru, said the agency had been fair in investigating the $40million.
He said:
“It is true that they are being held and investigation is still ongoing.
“But two days after their arrest, they were offeredadministrative bail with two sureties who must be of the rank of director in the civil service. The sureties were expected to provide evidence of tax payment and N250million bank guarantee.
“ But the suspects failed to produce any surety, which made the commission to legally approach a court for an order to detain them.”
The suspects’ lawyer, Gordy Uche (SAN), in a statement in Abuja, accused the EFCC of embarking on a vendetta mission against former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said the Federal Government is still owing his client $4million being balance of the contract sum for “successfully securing oil pipelines which saw Nigeria reap billions of US dollars from increased oil production”.
He asked the commission to “either charge my clients to court or release them on bail.”
