The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Tuesday, called on Nigerians to desist from panic buying of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as fuel, stating that it has about 23 days of product supply in all its depots across the country.
Reacting to the resurgence of fuel queues in some cities across the country, the NNPC, in a statement by Mr. Ohi Alegbe, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, stated that its depots have about 927.461 million litres of PMS which is enough to serve the country for the next 23 days if no drop of the product is imported within the period.
The NNPC blamed the resurgence of queues at petrol filling stations on rumour of an impending scarcity, assuring that it has enough products to meet the demand of the country.
It also warned oil marketers not to engage in sharp practices, stating that anyone found wanting would be dealt with decisively.

Is there a certain factor that makes a relationship last?
We know some couples stay together for some months, years then break up when things turn sour. Others stay together, make it through marriage till death keeps them apart. How can you tell if you and your partner are meant to be together?
Inspired by All Women Stalk, here are a few signs that your relationship is meant to last:
1. No pretence: You both are real with each other. No pretences involved.
2. You both can almost read each other’s minds. You know when your support is needed and give it before your partner asks.
3. You both respect your need for space. You both understand there’s always a time for everything including a ‘me’ time.
Maintaining a serious relationship can be tasking . A successful long term relationship is a joint effort between two committed people.
If you have something ‘real’ and ‘special’ with someone you see a future with, here are 7 things to do which will make you more committed.
1. Look for the right partner: Keep your eyes open for ‘wife and husband materials’. If you spot a potential player, there’s no need dating them thinking they’ll change. Find someone who compliments you.
2. Be matured: Partying and drinking like a teenager is a no-no. Be more responsible, get a job and earn a good living. This would make you more independent and ready to handle what comes your way.
3. Be with someone who wants a serious relationship as you do: This crosses out the players and emotionally unavailable people. If you are ready to commit, find someone who’s on the same page with you.
4. Make more effort: Loving someone involves not running away after two fights. We all know it’s not easy, but if this is worth fighting for, then don’t let anything stop you.
If you get aboard a Lagos bus and after a while you hear the conductor call out “under!”, “Killer!”, ” Masha!” don’t panic, it is not the beginning of madness, he is just calling out bus-stops; so where is your stop?
There are so many humorous things that take place while traveling on a Lagos commercial bus, certain things that happen or that are said, are just enough to keep you laughing if you take a second thought at them.
For me the bus-stops in Lagos and the way these conductors call them out, gets me laughing always. So you have bus-stop like “Westminster” pronounced as “West Minister” and you can’t but laugh to tears.
There many more bus-stops which i find funny, either in their pronunciation or in the meaning of their names as it were.
Perhaps I should give you some heads-up, every major landmark in Lagos eventually is used as a bus-stop, and in the case of no major building/edifice; then the nearest Iroko tree becomes the bus-stop for the area.
This theory holds majorly for residents in the mainland, as the Lagos-Island tends to have a good number bus-stops with straight names.
Without spoiling the fun, here are some of the craziest and funniest names i have found of the lot that exist around the Lagos megalopolis.
Come “along”, yes, ‘along’ is yet another bus-stop’s name.
1. Cemetry Bustop
There are so many cemetery bus-stops across Lagos. The simple rationale for the bus-stop name, being that the cemetary located around the corner is about the most popular place to reckon with within the area.
Seriously, I mean, how can you say you live at “Cemetery bus stop”?
2. Moshalashi
Moshalashi means mosque, and there are major mosques in virtually every part of Lagos. You can rarely go to on any Local government are which doesn’t have a Moshalashi- bus stop.

“In order for me to feel confident with one of my songs it has to really move me,” she said.
“That’s how I know that I’ve written a good song for myself — it’s when I start crying. It’s when I just break out in [expletive] tears in the vocal booth or in the studio, and I’ll need a moment to myself.”
That heart-on-sleeve emotion, conveyed by a gorgeous voice, has made Adele, now 27, one of the most universally beloved singers and songwriters of the 21st century. Adele, whose last name is Adkins, won the Grammy as Best New Artist with her 2008 debut album, “19.”
She multiplied her audience with “21,” her 2011 album full of breakup songs — angry, regretful, lonely, righteous — that used modern production touches around vocals filled with old-fashioned soul. It has sold 30 million albums worldwide, 11 million in the United States. Beyond the power of Adele’s voice and the craftsmanship of the music, “21” communicated a palpable sincerity and urgency, the feeling that its wounds were still fresh.
Nigerian Rapper, Afrobeat artiste and record producer Naeto C shared his thought on Sagging, he also revealed how he felt when his song ‘Tony Montana’ was banned.
Speaking recently with Punch, the ‘Ringtone’ crooner said he didn’t see any sense in the ban because they had to wait for three years before placing the ban. According to him, ‘the board was late.’
It will be recalled that the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, NBC, earlier this year, placed a ban on his music video, ‘Tony Montana.’ Naeto said, “I felt the board was very late in banning the song because I released that song in 2012 and it was banned in 2015.
“Also, in the video, there was a disclaimer that no one should try the stunts we did in the video and if they had seen the music video, they would have seen the disclaimer.
If they are going to ban the music video because we used guns in it, then they should ban movies with guns and occult scenes,” the singer added.
“However, that is our reality,” he continued, saying, “I don’t think we communicated anything in a distasteful manner neither did we communicate the wrong message to kids.
I have two kids and naturally when you have kids, you think about other kids in whatever you do.
“I respect the organisation and I would not talk down on it but I don’t think there was any sense in it; it was not necessary to ban the video,” he noted. Responding to why he stopped ‘sagging’, he said, “Yeah, I used to sag a lot. I think I grew up and realised it looked silly.
“When I was a younger artiste, I did not care much about my image. But now that I am grown, I pay attention to my image because the people I perform for are my clients. “My client is a mature person who obviously can afford my services.
You don’t want your client to see you as irresponsible because tomorrow, when you go to the same client for a business proposition, he would not take you seriously if you are sagging.

According to reports, a statement of claim filed before the court by a Lagos lawyer, Chief Felix Fagbohungbe, SAN, in 1975, a contract dispute arose between King Suny Ade and the two companies culminating in a judgement delivered by Justice Dosunmu of a Lagos High Court.
In the said judgement the court ordered the companies to return the master tapes of the original musical works produced under the label of the two companies by Sunny Ade, but the organizations held on to the tapes owing to the death of the Chief Executive Officer of the two companies, Chief Bolarinwa Abioro.
Consequently, in a bid to retrieve the master tapes, Sunny Ade in 1997 dragged the two companies before a Federal High Court in Lagos.

So I speculated that she’d be placed on the 2nd spot when she hits the Top 100 Billboard Chart, the first week her “Hello” track enters the chart and Drake‘s “Hotline Bling” would be No. 1… Let’s just say I speculated wrongly.
Record breaking singer, Adele has explained why she intentionally turned down endorsement deals and cross-marketing projects that would have kept her highly visible during her four year break from music.
Speaking to New York Post, she says:
“If I wanted to just be famous, like be a celebrity, then I wouldn’t do music, because everything else I’ve been offered would probably make me more famous than I am just with my music,”. “Commercials, being the face of brands, nail varnishes, shoes, bags, fashion lines, beauty ranges, hair products, being in movies, being the face of a car, designing watches, food ranges, buildings, airlines, book deals.
I’ve been offered everything. And I don’t want to water myself down. I want to do one thing. I want to make something. I don’t want to be the face of anything.
“Everyone thinks I just disappeared, and I didn’t,” she said. “I just went back to real life, because I had to write an album about real life, because otherwise how can you be relatable? If I wrote about being famous — that’s [expletive] boring.”
You can’t help but wonder what the duo are conversing. Beautiful daughters of reality TV stars, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Penelope Disick and baby fashionista, North West are pictured here looking adorable as they lay together on a bed.

I’m slightly skeptical about the target being successful. We don’t trust the Government when it comes to the war.”Drones are not the answer, nor is bombing innocent people. I would rather him be brought back to face justice.”
Caitlyn Jenner was reportedly confronted by angry members of the trans community who protested outside a charity event on Thursday.
The demonstrators were angered that the 66 year-old former Olympian, who they dubbed ‘a clueless rich white woman,’ was being held up as a representative of their community. The reality star had been speaking at a luncheon in Chicago and attempted to engage with the protesters as she left, sparking a confrontation which was caught on camera.
Shouting slogans such as ‘You are an insult to trans people, you are an insult to women,’ protesters used a loudspeaker to make their feelings known.
In a video of the altercation posted on Facebook by the protest group, Caitlyn can be seen being angrily berated, with demonstrators telling her ‘you have no right to represent us.’ In the footage the I Am Cait star, attempts to reason with them, before she is escorted away by her security guards.
The protest group, calling itself ‘I Ain’t Cait’, explained in a mission statement that Caitlyn’s wealth made her unrepresentative of the average member of the trans community.
