The user, identified as Idris, asserts that a mother’s impact on a child’s life is unparalleled, serving as their primary source of education and molding their character from the very beginning.

According to him, if a mother fails to instill the necessary values and virtues in her child, it becomes an arduous task for any educational institution or external entity to rectify those shortcomings later in life.

In light of this, he suggests that if a man desires pious children, he must be deliberate in his choice of a life partner.

According to eyewitness accounts circulating online, the controversial figure ran into her lover, King Manny, with another woman at a club.

It is said that she confronted him, which led to a heated exchange that caught the attention of onlookers.

A video captured by one onlooker at the scene showed a gathering of people watching the drama unfold between the public figures.

Lagos big boy, Killaboi, who confessed to killing his girlfriend, has denied claims that her corpse was found with missing body parts.

The 26-year-old had admitted to stabbing his girlfriend, influencer Austa, to death in a series of posts on his Instagram stories on Monday, July 17, and stated that he was ready to turn himself in to the police.

Following his revelation, a message allegedly from a WhatsApp group of the estate where the incident occurred surfaced online, claiming that Austa’s corpse was found with her private parts and other organs missing.

Netizens accused him of being involved in fetish practices and using sports and crypto trades as a cover.

However, he denied mutilating her corpse. He explained via Twitter that he and his late girlfriend, Austa, got into a fight over an issue he wouldn’t want to disclose in public to protect her image.

“I’m truly sorry for the damage I have caused and the pain I have left, everything happened due to pain and betrayal, cheating, toxicity and all.

All this you are spreading are just lies, none of her body parts went missing. Nothing was intentional, We got into a fight and argument regarding (something I rather not say in other to protect her image and respect for the death).

Three Ogun poly students mysteriously die after allegedly eating spaghetti

Two Gateway Polytechnic students from Ode-Remo, Ogun State, and one other applicant student have died under unknown circumstances.

According to Punch, student remains were discovered on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, however, the cause of death has yet to be determined.

Based on reports, four pupils at the institution, as well as one applicant awaiting admission, suffered stomach issues after reportedly eating a spaghetti lunch. Two of the students and the applicant eventually gave up the ghost.

Bakari Habbeb, an ND2 student in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Odu Selen, an ND1 student in the Department of Mass Communication, and Hameed, an Applicant of the School for the 23/24 academic session, have been named as the three confirmed deceased.

A circular confirming the occurrence, co-signed by the school’s Student Union President, Olatunji Idowu Alexander, and the SUG PRO, Tanimowo Joel, claimed that investigations into the cause of death are going on.

“It is with great grief in our heart that the Student Union Government (SUG) announces the passing on of three of our students in a household incident overnight,” the circular read in part.

We share in the grief of the management of the Institution, families, and all well-wishers in this unpleasant incident.

As much as the cause of their death remains unknown at the time of this release, we assure the public a well-detailed investigation and get to the root of the matter, come what may.”

Meanwhile, the schools’ second-semester test, originally planned for Monday, July 17, has been rescheduled until July 19th, due to the unexpected deaths of all three pupils.

Adebayo Folorunso, Head of Public Relations, acknowledged in a circular that the second-semester exams had been postponed owing to the sad situation.

“We appeal to the entire student populace to remain calm and peaceful noting that the management is abreast of the situation,” the circular read.

A Nigerian lady has sought for help online after realizing that the landlord of the flat she had paid for had sold the entire building and fled to another country.

An insider who relayed the incident in the estate’s WhatsApp group disclosed that the late influencer’s corpse was found with her private part and other organs missing.

This disturbing revelation comes shortly after her boyfriend, one ‘Killaboi’, took to social media to admit to killing her in the heat of an argument.

The message reads,

“Good morning all,

An incident happened in the estate yesterday night.

Two women (Army officers wives) and a uniformed army officer came to the estate and complained (one of them) that she is looking for her daughter and information says she is in the estate with someone.

A Nigerian man, identified simply as ‘Killaboi’, has confessed to stabbing his girlfriend, a popular Instagram influencer Austa, to death in Lagos.

In a series of posts shared on his Instastory on Monday, July 17, Killaboi admitted to fatally killing his girlfriend, who has over one hundred thousand followers on Instagram.

Though specific details surrounding the murder is not clear at the time of writing this story, Killaboi disclosed that a heated argument led to the unfortunate incident.

According to him, he was having a verbal altercation with his girlfriend, whom he had been dating for three years, when he ‘mistakenly’ stabbed her to death.

He said he initially fled the scene out of fear but has decided to surrender himself to the police, and face the full consequences of his action.

Killaboi wrote in part,

“I got into an argument with my girlfriend @austa xxo which fight I mistakenly stabbed her and ran away out of fear and been suicidal since then.

“Trevboi was never Davido’s signee” – Isreal DMW clears the air

Nigerian singer, Davido’s personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, has clarified the singer’s relationship with Trevboi.

Trevboi was recently declared wanted for the murder of a man at a nightclub in Lagos.

The incident reportedly occurred in the late hours of Sunday, July 16, at Bar 38 Nightclub in the Fadeyi area of Lagos state.

According to eyewitness accounts, trouble began around 9pm when Trevboi refused to settle his bill of N52,000. When he attempted to leave the club without paying, he was stopped by a bouncer stationed at the entrance. Read here.

Nollywood actress, Judy Austin has threatened to expose all the wrongdoers pretending to be saints in the Nollywood film industry.

She stated this in a video posted on her husband Yul Edochie’s Facebook page, while addressing those who have vilified her for marrying and welcoming two children with the actor, despite his first marriage to May Yul-Edochie.

According to Judy, she has had enough of the criticisms and backlash she has been subjected to in the past year, and wants to expose other Nollywood stars for who they really are. She threatened to call out the married actresses who are closeted lesbians and pimps in the movie industry.

She added that anyone she exposes should take it in good faith because she is tired of her colleagues behaving like saints while she is being demonized on social media, whereas they all have skeletons in their cupboards.

Speaking further, she announced her plans to host a live session on her husband’s Facebook page at 8pm on Tuesday, July 18.

According to her, she would share her personal truth during the session, and shed light on the actions of her colleagues within the industry.

She also encouraged people to come with their questions because she is ready to spill everything about her relationship with her husband.

Judy Austin, actress and second wife of popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has for the first time taken to social media to directly address those criticizing her marriage to the actor.

In a video shared via Yul’s official Facebook page, Judy, who recently welcomed her second child with the actor, expressed outrage at those constantly trolling her and her husband.

She said she has had enough of the insults and incessant criticisms, and knocked Nigerians for wanting to control her life and that of her husband.

According to her, it makes no sense for Nigerians to be trying to dictate the way a man in his forties should lead his life, adding that those who consistently visit their page to criticize them are exhibiting signs of mental instability.

In addition, she criticized the notorious blogger, Gist Lover, for spreading unscrupulous and unverified rumors about her, which subsequently subjected her to cyberbullying.

She added that her year-long silence does not mean she doesn’t know what to say or desire to clear her name but right now, she has had enough of self-righteous individuals judging and criticizing her on on social media.

Speaking further, Judy queried Nigerians if they know the underlying reason why Yul took her as his second wife, and warned them to stop judging a situation they don’t understand.

A young Nigerian man has caused a buzz on the internet after he shared a video of his visit to his lover and mother of his child at her secondary school.

The teenage father who goes by the handle @bryan_morgan3 on TikTok disclosed that he took his daughter to visit her mother during her visiting day in boarding house.

The trending clip shows the student sharing a special moment with her child who was reluctant to leave her embrace after the visit.

The teenage mother was also captured having a loved-up moment with her babydaddy in the clip, as they made the sign of love with their fingers.

“I took my daughter to see her mum on their visiting day and she refuses to go home with me,” the caption reads.

The viral video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many sharing their thoughts about the teenage parents.

According to Esther, she plans to visit Nigeria to meet her boyfriend’s family. However, she is unsettled by the fact that he’s asking her to bear all the travel expenses.

“Hello Nigerian members. I need your help to discern. I’m in love with a Nigerian man. We are both Christians and we plan to meet soon in Nigeria in order for me to meet his family but the issue is that he wants me to pay for all the travel expenses as a way of proving my love.

Nigerian-British actor, Damson Idris has shared a funny video of his American girlfriend, Lori Harvey, asking for the meaning of “yansh”.

The celebrity couple, who went public with their relationship in January 2023 and and have maintained a strong bond ever since, were engaged in a casual conversation when Lori paused to ask about the meaning of the word “yansh”.

Lori’s question evidently amused Damson and he brought out his phone to capture her funny question. He, then, encouraged her to repeat the question.

Initially, Lori hesitated, expressing concern that Damson would share the video with the public. Despite her reservations, Damson encouraged her to proceed with her question, and she finally asked, “What is ‘yansh’?” The Hollywood couldn’t contain himself and bursted into uncontrollable laughter.

Singer Trevboi declared wanted for allegedly k!lling a man at a nighclub in Lagos

Trevboi, a former signee and associate of popular singer, Davido, has been declared wanted for the murder of a man, identified simply as Kenny, at a nightclub in Lagos.

The incident reportedly took place in the late hours of Sunday, July 16, at Bar 38 Nightclub in the Fadeyi area of Lagos state.

Based on accounts from eyewitnesses, trouble started around 9pm when Trevboi refused to pay his bill of N52,000. When he tried to leave the club without settling his bill, he was stopped by a bouncer stationed at the entrance.

He reportedly got into an argument with the bouncer and Kenny, who was also present at the club, stepped in between the men to stop the brewing fight. Sadly, the suspect pulled out his gun and reportedly shot him in the stomach, killing him on the spot.

A friend of the deceased took to social media to relay the heartbreaking incident and demand justice for the death of his friend.

Reacting to the incident, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the police command, confirmed that an investigation has commenced into the murder case.

He also revealed that the suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot, adding that his car and the documents in it are currently in police custody.
