Toolz wedded her boo, Capt. Tunde Demuren traditionally on Saturday, and they had almost all Nigerian Entertainers and movers of the society as guests at their wedding.
Their traditional marriage will be one wedding that will linger in their minds for a long period of time as it brought tears of joy in the eyes of Toolz.
They were honoured by the Ooni of Ife and the Alaafin of Oyo and this goes to show that Nigerians truly care for one another.
One person who will always love to show off his wealth is singer, Wizkid, as he took it to another level by showing off money he sprayed Toolz at her wedding.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo aka RMD has revealed that his new look which is symbolised by his white beards, ‘is a liberation for him.’
The actor, who says he is driven by passion for acting, confessed that it was a deliberate act to spot a new personal.
When asked if his beards make him feel anyhow lesser or bigger than who he is, he stressed that if his fans love the new look, he’s less concerned about what anyone says.
In his words, ‘It’s just a liberation for me. I wanted to spot new personal. In politics, it was a lot more severe. Now, I am back to my first calling where I am not answerable to anybody but myself and my fans. If my fans like my new look, who cares what anybody say?’
Speaking further, “I am constantly working and so, my face must change. I can’t sport this look on another movie set. I will shave my beards if there is need for me to do so.”
The allegation of a 65-year-old man who dragged his wife to court over a dissolution of their marriage will leave you in dismay.
According to the accuser who doesn’t want his name on print before an Asaba High Court, he re-married after the death of his first wife, so he could one again have a companion and also someone to help him take care if his four children, but the only thing he has gotten so far from being married to his second wife is beatings and harlotry.
“I married my wife in 1998 and did the church wedding at Catholic Church of Assumption, Zappa, in Asaba. Since then, we have two children; a boy and a girl, but this woman always threatens to kill me, she beats me at every chance, and many times, I go into coma. She vowed that she must kill me and she sent all my children packing, I cannot continue with the marriage.
“She beats me most times, but it came to a climax on January 17, 2016, when she took something and hit my head in an attempt to kill me, so that I would not be able to pursue the divorce case in court, but thank God, her mission did not come to reality as I overcame her plan.
“She is a harlot, she beats me every day. I cannot eat her food again because she is a harlot. It is against my tradition and I want the marriage dissolved before she kills me,” he said
According to Punch, when the court asked the man’s wife, she denied her husband’s allegations saying;
“What will make me to beat or attempt to kill my husband? We stay in the same house, sleep on the same bed, I am taking good care of him, but I don’t know what is wrong’”
The case still lacks enough evidence to prove that the 65-year-old man was actually been abused by his wife as he claims.
However, the case remains in court, while the trial judge demands his first son as a witness to the allegations, the case was adjourned to February 17, 2016.

To be honest I don’t understand why women act surprised and mushy when a man proposes to them. I mean you have been dating and in all of those two years you guys didn’t discuss marriage?
If you did, why the overly histrionic displays when a man goes down on one knee to stain his trousers with Naija dust? I don’t know how relationships go, see I am a Pope but I would think if I were ever going to get married, I would have discussed marriage a hundred times with my prospective wife.
Type of marriage, prospective period of marriage, number of kids, kind of education for the kids, honeymoon location, choice of city to live in, number of palmwine glasses I’d get per day, who gets tv rights when it is Arsenal vs The Promise. I mean the whole gamut.
So point is, if I am getting married to a girl she’d know a full year before the proposal. So why the surprise package? Abi she no believe me before ke? Why the occasional tears sef? Are you shocked that someone you dated for years is asking you to marry him?
Anyways, before I started dating Chinenye, I asked her, will you marry me? And she replied with a sweet smile on her face, of course you know I’d marry you, you leave me no choice.
See? Me I done skip proposal and engagement ring o. I have even done the math in PKE – Palmy Kegs Equivalent.

Tears flowed uncontrollably from parishioners and members of the Adoration Ministry as fiery Enugu Catholic priest and director of the ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, yesterday bowed out of Christ the King Parish, GRA, Enugu, which he presided over as parish priest for 20 years, the Sunday Sun reports
The entire Enugu capital city also stood still as over 30 lorries accompanied by thousands of his adoration faithful escorted him in a motorcade to his new parish, Our Lady Parish, Emene, a suburb of the capital city.
Mbaka’s transfer became a topical issue as a section of the society saw it as a punitive measure for his recent prophecies especially that of December 31st 2014, when he predicted that former President Goodluck Jonathan would be defeated in the 2015 elections.
This has however been dismissed by the church who explained that the transfer is a routine exercise done every six years by the bishop.
But Mbaka’s transfer as a parish priest to a resident priest, where he will serve under another priest, has raised eyebrows eliciting further comments from close observers.
Mbaka himself while handing over formally to his successor yesterday told those around that he was going to suffer, moving from a duplex to a room in his new parish but asked them not to worry that God has bigger plans for him.
Hear him: “I know we are going to suffer; between now and few months to come, I am going to suffer; I am going to suffer because I have no place to lay my head; I am going to suffer because I have no place to keep the Ministry’s assets; I know I am going to suffer; fortunate going to suffer because I have no ly it’s going to happen in the month of Lent; so I am going to use my exit here to observe the Lent.
But Jesus said it to His apostles in John 16:20, ‘You will be sorrowful and the world will be rejoicing but very soon I will turn your sorrows to joy.’ So I am waiting for that moment because for now I know we are going to suffer.
The Adoration Ministry is passing through suffering right now; even though I have accepted it as the will of God; it is the will of God through suffering; it is a mega suffering. But however, the grace of God will carry us all; even though some of you may pray that God should remove this thorn from us, the scripture says ‘His grace is sufficient for us; for its even in your weakness that the power of God is demonstrated. So we are moving but don’t forget the scriptures, ‘my brothers they make me keeper of vineyards, my own vineyard I keepeth not.
All these while we have been keeping vineyards, building for Christ The King Parish…Bishop Gbuji asked them, how much …but because I don’t want to disclose my charity, they can’t keep that account.
How many trailer loads of cement came here? All the monies I made from my cassette and other private crusades all of them were used to build this church. We cannot quantify it but let God be glorified.”
“It is the will of God; and when the will of God either permissive or however, happens, nobody should question it. All you have today is Amen; so to the will of God Fr. Mbaka has said Amen.”
Mbaka said he welcomed the decision of the church leadership with absolute acceptance and obedience, stating that nobody should see him as a recalcitrant priest.
He assured that the parish would not collapse due to his exit, and urged the members to treat his successor, Rev. Fr. Theodore Ozoamalu, well, and to assist him in any way he needs help and not allow him to cry.
His words:
“Don’t starve him; don’t allow him to suffer; in my own time I didn’t need your help because God blessed me in my own unique way and I am happy. God will keep the parish because we have fought the good fight; I am not regretting anything and the highest gift God has given here is his Holy Spirit who assisted me up till now.”

Nigerians are known for their love for weddings. Whether it be traditional, civil (court) or white wedding, we are very ready to turn up.
And Nigerian artists are not slackers. Since South African artist Brenda Fassie released the video for her wedding song, Wedding Day, Nigerian musicians have tried to and succeeded in topping her.
A wedding reception is all about the couple (sure) and a DJ who knows his stuff knows to fit in one of these songs on their playlist either for the couple’s entrance or their dance.
Some of them are classics released over 10 to 20 years ago while others are more recent as artists continue to try to out do themselves and record and releasing THE wedding song; the one that will remain evergreen like Sunny Neji’s Oruka or Flavour’s Ada Ada.
We present you with 10 songs that you are sure to hear at a Nigerian wedding. Although no one really plays Brenda Fassie’s Wedding Day anymore, we included because of the memories and for being a strong inspiration.

Nigerian-American rapper Wale is in Lagos and he made a surprise appearance to Toolz and Tunde Demuren‘s traditional wedding yesterday – click here if you missed it.

Here was Wale’s clapback: *watch out for foul language*
On the other hand, Nigerian fans have been coming for Wale for his own style to the wedding – wearing a wool winter cap (Headwarmer. lol) and black sneakers with his black traditional wear.
A fan commented that’s not even acceptable to wear to a US wedding, so they are wondering why he wore it here.
“wale is this how they dress up for the weddings you go to in America? taa gerrout osiso!”
The unkind comments didn’t go unnoticed by Nigerians who returned fire for fire, defending Naija’s top rapper and their home country.

Absolutely untrue. I quit cigarettes on New Years. NO ONE smokes around my daughter. This is obviously a play to get some sort of increased income.
I take care of my daughter and I would never ever put her in a position that will harm her. I’m so sick and tired of negative people trying to use me and slander me. All this annoying bs, everybody knows what they do in these street.
My daughter is my pride and joy and I will not be played because my lifestyle is different from the other parties involved. This really has to stop. My daughter is the youngest in her class and the most advanced. My mother and I have made sure my daughter is constantly learning and being creative as well as her safety.
I won’t do the back and forth negative things so I’ll just say god bless whoever is struggling and needs to use me to better their life even though I fulfill my duties as a father. ❤️”

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) on Saturday said suicide bombers now disguise as lunatics in order to attack crowded places and warn that residents should be on the look out for suspicious mad people in their areas.
It, therefore, warned the public to be on the lookout for such suicide bombers.
The acting Director Defence Information, Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar, in a statement, said: “It has come to the notice of the Defence Headquarters that Boko Haram, in their desperation to cause colossal havoc, have now devised a new method where they dress like mad persons to gain suspecting access to public areas to detonate bombs.”
He explained that the two male suicide bombers who carried out Friday’s attack in Gombi, Adamawa State that killed at least 10 people were dressed like mad men.
Abubakar said it is important for Nigerians to be wary of mad persons approaching markets, public places or crowded areas so as to nip this ugly trend in the bud.
“Nigerians are also enjoined to be security conscious at all times and should endeavour to report any suspicious person or object to security agencies for prompt action,” he added.
Toyin Aimakhu and CEO of Ebony Films, Seun Egbede, are finally making their relationship public.

Last year, Aimakhu denied dating the filmmaker, and after reports claimed that they split up following an altercation, Aimakhu demanded for a retraction from the blog that published the story.
Media personality and comedienne, Omotunde David, popularly known as Lolo 1 of Wazobia FM, speaks about her failed marriage and recent spat with colleague, Princess in a new interview with Punch Spice.
Excerpts:
How have you been able to shield your private life from prying fans?
I am a proud mother of four children and I have the right to keep them away from prying fans. If you
know me very well, you would know that they are my all and an integral part of my life. Occasionally, I post their pictures on social media, but that’s not what’s key for me.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that your marriage has broken up.
My husband is a very private man and I wouldn’t want to put him out there. It’s not something he appreciates or cares about.
We’re presently going through a divorce, but we have mutual respect for each other. We will do all we can to protect and nurture our lovely kids. We are also actively involved in the lives of our children.
You recently called out your fellow comedian, Princess, on Twitter. What were you particularly unhappy about?
Sometimes, women have issues. At an event which held this month, she caused me to feel awkward. I felt slighted because her action was unnecessary.
I had to give vent to my anger because I am human. Some of our colleagues waded into the matter and I believe that our differences will be sorted out. We’re human beings and we are bound to hurt each other at some point.
But, we have to let it go and keep the ball rolling.
Have you ever committed a fashion blunder?
I once missed the memo to an event, so I arrived at the venue looking overdressed. For an informal event, I was decked in a super show-stopping dress.
I felt uncomfortable and I have since learnt to always consider the nature of an event before I come up with a choice of attire.
