The daughter of top Yoruba actress, Idowu Philip known as Iya Rainbow died this morning. Lola’s death is said to be linked to Complications that resulted from stomach ulcer.
Reports indicate that last night, Lola, Idowu Philips’ daughter was taken to a private clinic, Tomade Hospital, in Ojodu, Lagos, following ulcer complications, but she was declared dead this morning. The deceased had planned to travel to the United State today, before the sad occurrence.
She was accompanied to the hospital by her husband Osborne. Her body has been deposited at an Ikeja mortuary. The family is yet to release an official statement.

A YouTube clip showing controversial Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua’s dramatic encounter with ‘Lucifer’ has gone viral, amassing over 500,000 views in just one month since its release online.
The video titled ‘Face To Face With Lucifer’ shows a peculiar scenario that unfolded in Joshua’s church when a self-professed ‘occult wizard’ came to seek prayers at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria.
In the clip, an eerily looking man with a menacing black beard introduces himself as Professor Chukwudi Okakpu, an alleged ‘Grand Llama of Science Beyond Material’. Amidst his extraordinary claims, the Satanist professed to have had face to face encounters with ‘Lucifer’ and to have endorsed ‘anti-Christs’ globally. “I can stay here and appear in any part of Europe,” Okakpu, dressed in a flowing white suit, calmly stated, adding that he ‘operates like a spirit’.
“If you are such a person that patronises shrines or herbalists, I am the ultimate,” he sensationally claimed.
The video shows Joshua praying for Okakpu who sways uneasily several times before eventually falling to the floor. Several of his ‘followers’ proceed to come out from the crowd and are also prayed for, after which the ‘professor’ renounces his devilish past. Okakpu proceeds to return the following week with some of his ‘occultic’ garments to testify to the changes in his life after ‘accepting Jesus Christ’.
“This is a video satan does not want you to watch,” Emmanuel TV states in its introduction of the clip on YouTube. “A satanic ‘general’ renounces his covenants with devilry and witchcraft in a church service that made hell and its minions quiver!” As with most of Joshua’s videos, the contents have elicited controversy with opposing views as to its authenticity.
Several online commentators insisted Joshua’s deliverance services are nothing more than a scam involving arranged actors while others argue they are genuine and godly. Joshua’s YouTube channel Emmanuel TV, where the clip was uploaded, is the third most subscribed channel in Nigeria with nearly 300,000 subscribers and 110,000,000 views.

Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim, has fallen victim of cyber bully as she was recently insulted by a fan who accused her of sleeping around with various men after having a failed union.
The actress, who ceases every opportunity she has when she comes across some stars to snap with them did not escape the axe of some of her fans as they came trolling on her page after she had shared a picture of herself with a friend.
Some of her fans had to used the opportunities to tongue lash her as she was told to “get a man and stop sleeping with stars.”

The Senior Special Adviser, Garba Shehu released a statement on what transpired at the meeting. He did not directly address the reports president Buhari stormed out of the meeting.
“President Buhari has approved an investigation into the theft of the 219 girls from Government Secondary in Chibok, Borno State.
The panel to investigate the incident which happened in April 2014 is soon to be named by the NSA, General Babagana Munguno.
The investigation will seek to, among other things, unravel the remote and immediate circumstances leading the kidnap of the girls by Boko Haram terrorists as well the other events, actions and inactions that followed the incident.
This came to light just as the President, in Abuja, assured parents of the Chibok girls that he has been doing his best & will continue to do everything possible rescue them and re-unite them with their families. Speaking at a meeting attended by some parents of the abducted girls, representatives of the Chibok community,and members of the Bring Back Our Girls movement at the Conference Hall of the State House, President Buhari said that he remained fully committed to his pledge to do all within his powers to save the girls.

“I assure you that I go to bed and wake up every day with the Chibok girls on my mind. “The unfortunate incident happened before this government came into being.”What have we done since we assumed office?We re-organized the military, ordered the succeeding service chiefs to deal decisively with the Boko Haram insurgency.”removed all the service chiefs and In spite of the terrible economic condition, we tried to get some resources to give to the military to reorganize and equip retrain, deploy more troops and move more forcefully against Boko Haram.”

41-year-old Simon Watson has been the into sperm donation business for 16 years, and has fathered 800 children.
He however said he wont rest until they are 1000. With a donation once a week, the unlicensed sperm donor has been in the profession for 16 good years.
‘The number of women using donated sperm to get pregnant is rising, but many find the cost of treatment at private clinics prohibitive. This has led some women to use unlicensed donors – but are they putting their health at risk?
During a BBC interview, he said: “Usually one [baby] a week pops out. I reckon I’ve got about 800 so far, so within four years I’d like to crack 1,000. I’ve got kids all the way from Spain to Taiwan, so many countries. I’d like to get the world record ever, make sure no-one’s going to break it, get as many as possible.”

Social security workers in Acre in the north of Brazil today caused furore by publishing photos of OAP Joao Coelho de Souza alongside a birth certificate dated March 10 1884.
The document showed he was born in the city of Meruoca in Ceara nearly 2,000 miles to the east of Acre.
A colleague of a civil servant who made a routine visit to confirm he was still alive and therefore eligible for his pension posted the information on his Facebook .
He called on the state government to confirm the find and register Joao for the Guinness Book of Records.
Brazilian papers today said he lived with a wife aged 62 and a granddaughter aged 16 in a village called Estirao do Alcantara, a 30-minute boat ride away from Sena Madureira, a municipality in the centre of the state of Acre.
His daughter Cirlene Souza, aged only 30 which would mean if his age was right that Joao was 101 when she was born, told one paper: “He has days when he is lucid but others when he doesn’t even recognise his children.
“He was very small when he came to work in Acre extracting rubber. “He has been with my mum for more than 40 years and depends on others for everything.”
Responding to doubts about her dad’s age, she added:
“You hear everything, people that criticise and say it’s a lie and others that admire the fact someone can live so long.
“It’s sometimes offends me because everything is documented and the documents have already been examined by experts at to see if they’d been falsified and nothing abnormal was found.”
Cirlene said Joao suffered a stroke six years ago but continued to eat three times a day.
His favourite dishes are rice, fish and meat and the only thing he turns his nose up at is a local bean-based dish called feijao.
Kennedy Afonso is the social security worker who posted photos of Joao and his birth certificate taken by a colleague on his Facebook on January 11.
He said:
“I’ve asked one of his children if anyone’s interviewed him and to my astonishment no-one has yet. “The question ‘where are our historians’ immediately springs to mind. “According to a son he is still quite lucid and has a great story to tell.
“I present to you Jose Coelho de Souza, who came to Acre when he was 11.
“I appeal to the state government and the local government in Sena Madureira to determine with the competent bodies whether this is true so they can claim a place in the Guinness Book of Records for the oldest man on the Earth. And he’s from our region.”
President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the parents of the missing Chibok girls at the Banquet hall in Aso villa.
According to members of the Bring Back Our Girls group, all recording gadgets have been switched off.
The parents who marched to the state house today , had insisted they will only talk to president Buhari and after waiting, he showed up for the meeting, flanked by the Minister of Defense and the National Security Adviser.
