An angry husband has been accused of killing his wife’s rapist, hacking off his private part before he cooks and eats it>
The victim was discovered dead in the village of Penumangan Lama, Jakarta, Indonesia. Local police said the husband had also set the corpse ablaze in a car.
The Police said the man, named only as Rudi, was killed by suspect Rudi Efendi. They said Efendi allegedly killed his victim after he raped Efendi’s wife, Nuriah.
Police Chief Brigadier General Edward Syah Pernong told the local paper the couple killed Rudi and also set fire to the victim’s car.
Despite being burnt, it was clear to police that the victim’s body had been mutilated, with a wound on his ear, bruises on his head and his genitals cut off.
Efendi said the cannibalistic act was a form of medicine.
“I ate it to heal my heart ache towards the victim,” he said.
Police say the married couple recently and that’s when Efendi’s wife claimed she had been raped by a previous boyfriend a week before her wedding.
After hearing that, Efendi plotted Rudi’s murder. He asked Nuriah make an appointment to meet the victim in Penumangan Lama Village. Efendi then showed up instead and killed Rudi by stabbing him, said local reports.
He then mutilated the body, set the car on fire and went home to eat his unthinkable meal, said the paper.
Despite his wife being arrested, Efendi insisted Nuriah was not involved in the killing and should not be held responsible for his crime.
The lawmaker representing the Mushin Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Adefunmilayo Tejuosho, on Monday apologised for the way she presented her rejection of a committee she was asked to chair last Monday.
She however said she had no apologies for rejecting the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, Public Petitions and Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC.
Speaker Mudashiru Obasa had last Monday announced chairmen of the committees, but Tejuosho, who felt she was not respected as one of the oldest members of the House, publicly rejected her committee.
She was asked to publicly apologize by some members of the house.
In his reaction, the Chief Whip, Rotimi Abiru said:
“what transpired that day was not appropriate and it came after the Speaker had called for adjournment and was about to leave the chamber.
“There is a procedure for turning down any responsibility by a member. A formal letter should have been written to the Selection Committee of which the Speaker is the Chairman, but the matter should be allowed to go,” he said.
Also, Bisi Yusuf from Alimosho Constituency 1 said that Tejuosho should have followed the procedure of rejection, adding that, she should have accepted the Judiciary Committee given to her as a lawyer.
“She was given a whole arm of government, but she ridiculed the whole House,”
On his part, the chairman of the Committee on Information, Tunde Buraimoh, stated that the action of Tejuosho was an abuse on the leadership of the House calling it contempt of the House.
According to him, when the Speaker is speaking, others should not speak. He urged his colleagues to be mindful of their conducts on the floor of the House.
“We must do what we say, we need to stop this kind of vituperation or virulent behaviour. We may look into apologies or take appropriate action,” he said.
Given the opportunity to speak, Tejuosho apologised for the public show, but said she was not apologising for rejecting the committee because that was how she felt.
She also said she was not aware of any rule of the House that specified how to reject a committee.
“I rose up to reject the committee on Judiciary because I spoke to the Speaker about it before then and I expected him to get back to me on the issue. I felt disregarded about the whole thing.
“I want to apologise to the whole House about my behaviour after sitting on that day. I don’t have any apology for my rejection and I didn’t know any other way of turning down committee chairmanship,” she said
Speaker Obasa, who said the House was openly violated by Tejuosho, agreed that there was no rule of the House on actually specifying how to reject committees.
“There is a procedure to reject the committee chairmanship or membership of the House. The news went virile on the social media and my attention was called to it,” he said.
The mother of one of the Paris suicide bombers has defended her terrorist son saying he “did not mean to kill anyone” and put it down to “stress”.
31 year old Ibrahim Abdeslam, blew himself up outside the cafe Comptoir Voltaire.
His brother Mohamed was arrested days after the attacks, which killed at least 129 people and injured hundreds more, while a third brother, Salah, is currently wanted by police.
Today their mum, who has not been named, claimed Ibrahim’s suicide vest may have gone off by accident and said he “had not planned to kill anyone”.
Speaking in a statement outside the family home in Molenbeek, Belgium, the woman also revealed she had been “surprised” three of her sons were involved.
She told Het Laatste Nieuws:
“This was not his plan, that’s for sure,” “The fact that his suicide belt exploded without killing anyone says a lot.”We even saw him two days before the attacks.
There were no signs that they has plans to do anything violent.”Maybe the explosives went off prematurely by accident. Maybe it was stress,”
Ibrahim was identified as the driver of a rented Seat car found abandoned with a stock of Kalashnikovs in the back after the attacks. It was used by terrorists who murdered diners outside the Casa Nostra pizza restaurant and the La Belle Équipe cafe.
He detonated his vest in a solo attack outside Cafe Voltaire, killing himself and injuring another person.
41 year old former firefighter from Tennessee, Pat Hardison, lost most of his face when his fireman’s mask melted to it during a blaze in a mobile home in 2001.
He said his disfigured features made his young children scream in terror – and he despaired of ever living a normal life again. But now Hardison has been given a new face – and new hope – thanks to the riskiest face transplant ever performed.
The father of five had the face of 26-year-old David Rodebaugh grafted on to what remained of his own features in August this year after the young man died in a cycling crash.
The surgery was so perilous that Hardison was told he had only a 50 per cent chance of surviving it. But three months later he is thriving and boasts: ‘Now I’m just an average guy.’.
The amazing transformation was only made possible when Rodebaugh’s mom agreed to the transplant, noting that her son had always wanted to be a firefighter.
Recalling the incident, he told ABC:
‘It was just a normal day. Just like every other fire…we went in looking for a lady.’
He entered the house with three other firefighters but the ceiling collapsed around him.
‘[My mask] was melting to my face,’ Hardison said. ‘My hose [was] already melted.
He pulled the mask off, held his breath and closed his eyes, which doctors say saved his sight and prevented smoke from damaging his throat and lungs.
The former firefighter spent 63 days in hospital and was given the semblance of a face with flesh taken from his thighs. He had lost his ears, lips, most of his nose and virtually all of his eyelid tissue.
Because of this, he was unable to see properly.
When he returned home, he recalled how his three young children, Alison, six, Dalton, three and Averi, two, were terrified of him.
Speaking to ABC, he said:
‘My kids were scared of me. You can’t blame them. They’re young kids.’He playfully told them and other curious children that he had fought a bear but they ‘ran screaming and crying when they saw me. There are things worse than dying
Even though he had two more children, Braden and Cullen after the accident, the impact of his accident put a huge strain on his family life and after ten years of marriage, he and his wife Chrissi divorced.
More than 100 doctors, nurses, technical and support staff took part in the 26-hour operation, conducted in mid-August at the NYU Langone Medical Center.

Collabos are means by which artistes bring their unique ingenuity on a song and leverage on each other’s creativity and fans base.
Juacali, a Kenyan hip -hop rapper puts it this way: “Artistes should be ready for collaborations. And the concept is ever-changing as new faces as well as sounds come. This has changed the way fans consume music. Collaborating gives one high chances of opening up new markets.”
Onyeka Onwenu’s Wait for me duet with King Sunny Ade was one of the collabos that changed the face of the Nigerian music scene in the early 90’s.
Ever since, artistes have teamed up with one another to create a seamless artistic chemistry.
In no particular order, we chronicle Nigerian artistes who bring their own brilliant magic on collabos and are often sought after by other artistes.
Don Jazzy
The Mavin records emperor has suddenly become a collabo magnet. Before now, he was just satisfied with being behind the scenes; suddenly artistes started recruiting him for their songs.
He was featured on Psquare’s Collabo, Olamide’s Skelemba, Iyanya’s Gift, Timaya’s Concur and other songs. The highlife flavour he brings to collabos seems to be his selling point.
Don Jazzy fans are gladly waiting for him to release his own album. Will that happen anytime soon? Only time will tell

The fans of the dynamic duo of Don Jazzy and D’banj have been waiting with bated breath since after their break up in 2012 for a reunion.
We can’t wait to hear “It’s Don Jazzy again” from the Kokomaster.
With recent murmurings from both camps signalling an imminent comeback, including a reassurance from Don Jazzy during a press conference, we look at five reasons why our raised hopes might just be dashed sooner than later.
1. Strained relationship
No matter how we look at it, there is serious bad blood between these two even if they won’t admit it in public.
We can still recall at Tuface’s 40th anniversary celebration in September when the legendary singer pleaded for at least a song from the duo.
D’banj appeared enthusiastic at the idea but Don Jazzy turned his back on the stage, shaking his head.
Although that gesture may have been countered by his recent claim of wanting to work with D’banj but being impeded by their schedules, we still doubt that anything will come of it.
2. Ego
D’banj has been rumoured to posses a huge ego, which in the past prevented collaborations with other artists.
It was also reported back in 2012 that their split was based on dispute over who owned and controlled what at their then record label Mo’Hits, with D’banj claiming the lion’s share.
Despite the passage of time and maybe some maturity on each part, there is the possibility of more clashes in any future partnerships.
“While we await the release of the much talked about new singles from Ruggedman featuring Ice Prince and Olamide,we got hold of this never before heard track from Ruggedy.
The story is that he got a bit tipsy in the studio and pulled a Lil Wayne by voicing without putting a word on paper while under the influence.
We love the shout outs he gave bloggers and other media houses.”

Husband of the cop who was killed on 9/11 returned his wife’s posthumous Woman of the Year award to Glamour after the magazine gave the same honor last week to transgender, Caitlyn Jenner.
James Smith told The New York Post he yanked the award off the shelf in his Long Island home dedicated to his wife, Moira, and FedExed it back to the magazine.
Moira, who died at the age of 38 after rushing into the south tower, was honored by the magazine a month after her death. But after Caitlyn Jenner, 66, was awarded last week, Smith told the magazine’s editor, Cindi Leive, to take the award and shove it.
“I was shocked and saddened to learn that Glamour has just named Bruce Jenner ‘Woman of the Year,’“Was there no woman in America, or the rest of the world, more deserving than this man?” Smith wrote. “At a time when we have women in the armed forces fighting and dying for our country, heroic doctors fighting deadly diseases, women police and firefighters putting their lives on the line for total strangers, brave women overcoming life threatening diseases . . . the list of possibilities goes on . . . is this the best you could do?”
A spokesman for the magazine told The Post that it received Smith’s letter and that it stands by its honors.
“We were proud to honor his wife . . . in 2001, and we stand by our decision to honor Caitlyn Jenner,” a Glamour spokeswoman said on Saturday. “Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards recognize women with a variety of backgrounds and experiences.”

In line with the dreadful Paris attacks which resulted to the death toll of about 129 persons, the ISIS has alerted further on Paris-style attacks on countries taking part in bombing Syria.
A footage released online, shows they specifically threatened to ‘strike‘ Washington DC due to America’s central role in airstrikes.
The message was delivered by a man dressed in fatigues and a turban, named Al Ghareeb the Algerian.
“We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the centre of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its centre in Washington.
“I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before.
The video has not yet been authenticated but it was uploaded on a site used by Islamic State to post its messages.
One of Nigeria’s finest/top notch comedians, Bovi Ugboma wrote a heartfelt tribute to his mother who turned a year older today. He shared the photo and wrote:
Still celebrating my dear mum. I’ve searched all day for the right words to describe how I feel and the more I try, the more I feel like crying. I cherish everything she’s taught me but one I am forever grateful is the habit of reading. She would say “don’t worry, when you grow up and have a house of your own, you can watch tv all you like”. Little did she know that I was watching tv because I was trying to figure how to get in it.(Continue) Well the good thing is the reading she insisted on taught me how to get in the TV. She started me off with pacesetters. And then gave me an unsteady supply of James Hadley Chase. But she forbade me touching her mills and boon (romance and temptation). She also tried to stop me from reading Hints magazine. And that’s what got me curious. ( if only she knew, she would have called it mathematics by hints- I’ve always hated mathematics) Oh well, I don’t know how to end this story…. Maybe it’s because we’re nowhere near the end of it afterall.
The love of my life. Still givin me your all. Happy birthday mummy. Forever your boy.
