A UK-based Nigerian woman, Chioma Iyagba, has taken to social media to call out the Nigerian government after seamlessly obtaining her daughter’s British passport.

Chioma shared a video on her Instagram page in which she criticized the Nigerian government for always making life difficult for its citizens.

According to her, to secure her daughter’s British passport, she filled out a form online and only stepped out of the house to send her old passport to the immigration office.

She also revealed that the new passport she applied for was delivered to her house in the UK, and she received it without breaking any sweat.

Comparing it to her experience when she wanted to renew her Nigerian passport, she revealed that the line at the Nigerian immigration office was extremely long, and the people were treated like refugees.

Chioma expressed her displeasure with way things are done by the Nigerian government and urged them to emulate good practices from other countries and make life easier for its citizens.

She captioned the video,

“Not sure how why our leaders can never copy ways to make the lives of their citizens easier. It’s only how to make suffer more they constantly research.”

Self-proclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, has berated Nigerian superstar singer Davido following allegations that he cheated on his wife, Chioma.

The Timeless star made headlines after two ladies accused him of impregnating them.

The first lady, Anita Brown, an American businesswoman, came forward with evidence on Tuesday, alleging that she is pregnant with Davido’s child.

While the internet was still buzzing with Anita’s revelation, another woman, Ivanna Bay from France, also came forward with proof, alleging that she is carrying the singer’s child.

These allegations have since spurred a barrage of reactions from social media users, who heavily criticized the married singer.

Reacting via a video she shared on her social media page, the self-acclaimed relationship coach berated Davido for disrespecting his wife in that manner.

She told him that posting her online and publicly professing his love for her is not love. According to her, he’s only manipulating her because she’s soft.

“If you want to make Chioma special, at least if you want to sleep with other women, I understand you’re a musician, use a condom na. Let it be that Chioma is the one woman that you sleep with without a condom. Aren’t you afraid of giving her STDs? You bring this woman online every day and show us how much you love her.

“I’ve slept with 10,000 women” – Manchester City star, Benjamin Mendy

A jury on Wednesday, June 28, heard that Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy raped a woman and then bragged about sleeping with 10,000 women.

BBC reports that the French international is accused of raping the woman, aged 24 at the time, at his £4m mansion in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire in October 2020.

Mendy, who is facing a retrial at Chester Crown Court, was also accused of attempting to rape another woman who was 29 at the time after she slept with his friend.

This comes after he was acquitted of a series of sexual assaults on women in January. He was found not guilty of six rapes and one sexual assault against four women, but the jury was unable to reach a decision on the two remaining allegations against him.

The prosecution counsel, Benjamin Aina KC, who outlined the case before the court, said Mendy raped one of the women during a party at his house in October 2020.

He was alleged to have seized her phone at the house’s swimming pool area and proceeded upstairs to his bedroom, while the woman followed him, demanding her phone back.

The bedroom doors reportedly locked behind her and when she told Mendy she wanted to leave, he said he wanted to see her naked first. The woman, responding, told Mendy she didn’t want to sleep with him and only wanted her phone back.

Mendy replied that he would return it if she took her clothes off, saying: “I just wanna have a look at you. I promise you I wont touch you. I just wanna see what you look like. I wanna see your body. I wanna see your t***. Your t*** are so big.”

Mendy is claimed to have thrown her on the bed and raped her after she removed her clothes but left her underwear on.

When she resisted him, he told her she was “too shy,” adding that “It’s fine.” I’ve had sex with 10,000 different ladies.’

She left his house after the rape and told her friends and family what had happened to him.

Mendy, on the other hand, told cops that he had ‘consensual’ sexual activity with the woman, including oral sex, but that he stopped when he realized she didn’t want to do anything else.

The trial, which is expected to last up to three weeks, continues.

Recall that Anita recently announced via her Instagram page that she’s carrying the singer’s child. To support her claim, she released multiple screenshots of purported chats between herself and the singer, including where he asked her to handle the pregnancy like other girls in the past.

A young Nigerian man has received more than he anticipated after he made the decision to share a cult song as his WhatsApp status.

The guy shared a video of himself and a few companions dancing to what was allegedly the anthem of a certain cult organization.

He wore a yellow shirt with a cap to match and this is the signature color for Buccaneers, after his status was seen by cult members, they started grilling him via the DM.

Veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Oko reportedly passes on

Sad news has emerged that veteran Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odunkanwi, better known as Iyabo Oko, has reportedly passed away.

Her daughter, Bisi Aisha, shared the news on Facebook today, stating that the thespian died on Wednesday evening.

The 62-year-old actress had been battling with health issues and took a long break from acting to take care of her health.

In 2022, her daughter revealed that she was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke five years ago but chose to keep her health challenges private.

Unfortunately, Sidikat who was known by her stage names “Iyabo Oko,” “Apoti Aje,” and “Sisi Mama” has succumbed to the illness.

May her soul rest in peace!

This comes only a few weeks after the tragic demise of popular Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi, on Sunday, May 14, a few days after his 49th birthday,

The thespian was laid to rest amid tears at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos on Monday evening, May 15.

His body was retrieved from the Isolo mortuary, where it had been deposited, and taken to Ikorodu, where it was interred according to Islamic rites.

Reality TV star, Bella Okagbue has revealed that her family had reservations about her relationship with her lover, Sheggz, and advised her to end it.

A young lady has shared the disturbing and insensitive messages she received from her partner during her pregnancy.

The unidentified lady, who appears to still be pregnant, took to TikTok to post screenshots of the horrible messages she received from her child’s father.

Though it is unclear whether she is married to the said man, they are clearly living under the same roof howbeit in different rooms, as seen in the chats.

In the screenshots, the man accused her of trying to use the pregnancy to tie him down and threatened to make her life a living hell.

He also made several vile comments about her cleanliness, eating habit, and even brought another woman home while she was in the house.

AGN suspends actor, Jerry Williams indefinitely over drug abusə

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has indefinitely suspended Nollywood actor, Jerry Williams, due to his involvement with illicit substances.

The National President of AGN, Emeka Rollas, made this known in a statement, stating that the AGN had been closely monitoring Jerry Williams.

Rollas emphasized that the situation had escalated to a point where it posed a risk to the safety of other actors on set. As a result, Jerry Williams would not be allowed to associate with fellow actors in order to prevent any potential harm.

The statement read,

“The Guild has been monitoring his involvement in illicit substances since December last year until it reached a point where it got out of hand. Considering the current circumstances, he cannot be allowed to associate with other performers on set due to the danger it poses.”

Rollas further explained, “He should have been suspended earlier, but we decided to give him a chance to undergo minor treatments, which he has repeatedly failed to comply with. However, at this point, Jerry is not only a risk to himself but also to other actors who might act alongside him on set.”

“Therefore, we have made the decision to suspend him indefinitely until he receives a clean bill of health from a medical practitioner or a professional specializing in drug abuse”.

An old tweet from Nigerian superstar singer Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, explaining why he doesn’t have a baby mama, has surfaced online.

In the tweet, the self-styled African giant appears to have held a question and answer session on Twitter when a fan took the opportunity to ask why he doesn’t have a baby mama like his counterparts.

In his reply, Burna noted that he doesn’t want to have baby mamas and children scattered around because he wants to be a good parent to his children, just as his parents were to him and his sisters.

Burna Boy further asserted that he will not impregnate any lady or have children until he is ready and confident that he is stable with the woman he’s dating.

Anita Brown, the American woman who claims to be pregnant for Nigerian singer Davido, has replied to Instagram users who referred to her as the singer’s wife.

Anita started trending on the Nigerian web space after publicly announcing on Tuesday night, June 27, that she is carrying the singer’s child.

In a series of posts on her Instagram page, Anita accused Davido of impregnating her and asking her to get an abortion when she informed him about it.

To further substantiate her allegations, she shared screenshots of alleged conversations between them. She also dismissed speculations that her affair with Davido was a one-night stand, as she claims they met as far back as 2017.

However, amidst all the drama, she made it clear that she has no intention of taking Davido’s wife, Chioma’s place.

Despite this disclaimer, some social media users continue to flood her page with tags like “our wife.”

An Instagram user, via the comment section of one of her Instagram posts, told Anita that Nigerians accept her as the singer’s wife, and surprisingly she reacted.

Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, and actress Tonto Dikeh have taken to social media to drum support for Afrobeats superstar, Davido, amid trending rumors that he impregnated two women.

Davido, who is married to his long-time partner Chioma, began trending on social media after two women claiming to be carrying his child called him out online.

One of them, an American-based businesswoman named Anita Brown, shared a series of purported chats with Davido where he admitted to having unprotected intercourse with her. She claimed to have met him in Dubai in 2017 and to have had an on-and-off relationship since then.

The other woman, a 22-year-old, identified as Ivanna Bay, also shared her WhatsApp conversation with Davido and a video of her taking a pregnancy test as proof that she isn’t seeking attention.

While the singer has yet to confirm or debunk their claims, crossdresser Bobrisky and his former best friend, Tonto Dikeh, have taken to their respective Instagram pages to declare their support for him.

Tonto Dikeh shared a photo of Davido and his wife, Chioma, and in her caption noted that Davido can do no wrong in her eyes.

Bobrisky, on his part, declared his unwavering love for Davido and berated the ladies who called him out, claiming to be carrying his child.
