Popular Nollywood actress, Ruth Eze has voiced her displeasure with her colleague Junior Pope for their public altercation on Father’s Day.

Ruth Eze criticized Junior Pope for confronting Ruby in public over her post in a video shared on her Instagram, emphasizing on their close friendship.
She highlighted how highly Ruby regards Junior Pope and consistently speaks positively about him in their conversations.
In her words;
“Junior Pope you aren’t a close colleague and I don’t think we’ve ever worked before but what you did is wrong. Your definition of a father is wrong and I commented on that post too and some psychop@ths were tagging me.
Ruby is somebody that loves you, your friendship with her I love it so much that it encouraged me to be friends with Benson Okonkwo.
If Ruby post-Happy Father’s Day, you have her number why go to her comment section. Why the bitterness, hatred, and unnecessary drama?”

Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has revealed how her relationship with Nigerian singer, Iyanya ended after she found out he was cheating on her with popular actress, Tonto Dikeh.
Recall that Yvonne Nelson and Iyanya used to be in a relationship before they broke up for lack of time according to the singer.
The 37-year-old actress has made a shocking revelation about their split in her recently published book titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
She claimed that she never expected the breakup because she thought their relationship was true until an unknown person called her from his residence and informed her of Tonto’s constant visits.
According to Yvonne, she had taken to Twitter to call out Tonto but the latter had told her to move on from the relationship because feelings change and the singer’s feelings towards her had changed.
She added that even if she did not find out about Tonto she would have still left the relationship because she discovered other shocking things.
Read an excerpt from the book below,
“We had a decent relationship breakfast in bed and all niceties, dream relationship one could chink of. had the assurance that hero someone I could be with forever. He tattooed my initial, YN, on his wrist, and I thought that was a big deal. If he wasn’t serious about me, he wouldn’t do that. In his hit song, “Ur Waist, he mentioned how he lusted over me. One can therefore imagine my shock when I returned to Ghana after one of my visits to Nigeria and someone called me from his house.
The caller said anytime I left Iyanya’s place, another actress came over to him and sometimes slept over. The person felt strongly that there was something going on between them and thought I should know. That actress turned out to be Tonto Dikeh of Nigeria, one of the female celebrities Iyanya named in his “Ur Waist” song. When I was convinced about the authenticity of the information I received, I was heartbroken. I took to Twitter to rant and vent. Tonto Dikeh responded on Twitter, saying people changed and so did feelings, so I should move on.
I later heard more stories about what Iyanya did with some of his male crew members. It convinced me that what happened between him and Tonto Dike wasn’t an isolated incident. It was a pattern, his way of life. I knew I eventually would have left even if Tonto Dikeh didn’t come into the picture. I did not see the need to keep fighting her for a man I had lost, especially when I knew her fate was not going be different from mine.”
The family of late Deborah Samuel, who was lynched to death over alleged blasphemy at the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, have cried out over the hardship they have been facing since relocating to Port Harcourt.
It will be recalled that after Deborah’s tragic passing in May 2022, her parents vowed not to send their other children to school anymore.
This stirred compassion in the heart of OPM’s General Overseer, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, and he took to Facebook to announce his intention to help them.
“I just watched a video clip where the parents of Deborah Samuel said they will not be sending their children to school again. GOD FORBID,” Chinyere wrote on Facebook on May 16, 2022.
He then facilitated their relocation to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from Niger State. He also donated a mini estate, a car, and a restaurant to her parents to ensure their financial security and stability in their new state of residence.
The car was specifically intended for Deborah’s father, Garba Emmanuel, to start a ride-hailing business to fend for his family. Read here ICYMI
Well, in a new update gotten one year after the highly praised act of philanthropy, Deborah’s family have said that life has not been rosy since moving to Port Harcourt.
They stated this in an exclusive interview with Foundation For Investigative Journalism (FIJ) where they shared their struggles and challenges.

Garba said,
“People think that we are living well but we are not. OPM took us from where we were in Niger State to Port Harcourt City last year. The OPM pastor gave us a mini estate with about 14 self-contained apartments. After that, OPM rented this bedroom flat for us,” Emmanuel told FIJ on Friday.
“He said we should be staying here because we are a family and those self-contained apartments cannot be enough for the family. He furnished the apartment with the appliances.
“The first time we got here, OPM got me a car. It was a Toyota Corolla but it wasn’t new. It was a fairly used vehicle and the car has developed some faults. I was using it as a taxi before but it has some challenges and I have parked it.
“The first time OPM brought us to Port Harcourt they brought food items to us. After that first time, we have been struggling on our own. Right from the day OPM gave me this car, the car has been developing faults. On the first day I tried to take my children to school the car broke down on its way back. We towed the car back.
“I even went to the OPM pastor to speak with him in person. I let him know that the car has been developing a fault all this while. He called the person who bought the car on behalf of OPM and that person said that I did not know how to drive the vehicle properly. I have been a driver before now; this is not the first vehicle I’ve driven.
“The engine of the car is bad and I don’t have the money to fix it. I am looking for money to feed myself and my family. All the money people gave me for my upkeep, I used it on this car. Whenever I complained, the PA to the OPM pastor told me to stop complaining about the car but to fix it myself.”
Recall that in May 2022, Pastor Chinyere also said that Deborah’s family will be staying in one of OPM’s free estates where they will never have to pay rent ‘forever’.
Speaking on this, Deborah’s father said the clergyman only rented an apartment for them and paid for a year’s rent.
“From time to time, the OPM leader used to call to check on us. He paid the rent. Right now, the rent for this apartment has expired. The landlord has told us to renew the rent or leave. All the appliances and the equipment in this apartment belong to OPM, we don’t own it,” he said.
See a copy of the receipt below,
On the scholarship offered to their other children, Mr Garba said, “OPM gave Deborah’s siblings a scholarship each. They are schooling here in the church’s free school. However, the scholarships were not all what we thought they were. They promised to send one of my boys to school abroad. We were told it was going to be a European country. I was surprised when my son turned the offer down because they sent him to Cotonou instead.”
On the tragic demise of his daughter and how justice has not been served one year after her death, Mr Garba said,
“Since the death of my daughter, I have not recovered. I have not been feeling okay. It is as if there is no justice on the matter. I am just living without any other way to react. As a Christian, I leave it all to God. The way she took her Christian life, we were very proud of her. They were eight in her classroom who were Christians and they all renounced their faith except Deborah. Only Deborah stood firm. They killed her on her faith. It is a lot of hurt to deal with.”
A Chinese woman has cried out for justice after allegedly being raped by her butler while on holiday at a hotel in the Maldives a few days ago.
The lady, identified as @YolyYitong on the micro-blogging platform, said she arrived at the hotel on June 6 and was assigned a butler named Usham, who allegedly took advantage of the fact that she was alone to sexually assault her.
She stated that after Usham assaulted her, she reported the case to the hotel management; however, they allegedly refused to take any action.
According to her, the hotel management stated that it was a matter between the police and Usham and had nothing to do with the hotel.
Frustrated by the response, she turned to Twitter to seek justice.
“I was raped in the Maldives. I don’t know how many people this will reach to but help me get help. I arrived in the Maldives on the 6th. I was to return to China on the 10th but i extended mg stay and decided to stay at the @RCMaldives.
After arriving to the hotel I was allocated a butler, Usham. I checked into the room and he helped me settle down and explained all the facilities in the hotel for me. The same day i unfortunately splashed water into my phone and my phone wasn’t Turing on.
I was concerned didn’t know how to contact my family so I asked the front desk to help me and they sent Usham. He came and he let me use my sim in his phone and speak to my mother. He then sat on the bed and started chatting with me.“Why did you come alone, where do you live etc
And then he started asking me questions about what I did last night. And if I slept outside by the room pool. And that’s when I realized he watched me. And I wanted to change the topic. He left the room for a brief moment and came back because my mother had sent a WeChat.” She wrote in part.

Big Brother Titans winner, Khosi, has revealed that her relationship with Nigerian housemate Yemi was purely a game.
During an interview with Cool FM, Lagos, the 25-year-old South African journalist explained that both she and Yemi were using each other solely to play their respective games in the Big Brother House.
However, Khosi emphasized that Yemi initiated the game, and her flirting with other guys was merely a response to his actions.
When asked about the current status of their relationship by the host, OAP Do2tun, Khosi stated that there has been no friendship between them since leaving the house.
“We [Yemi and I] were kind of dating, and yeah, when he left the house, I think that is just where it ended. There hasn’t been any friendship between me and him. To be honest with you, when I stayed behind, and a lot happened, I didn’t expect any friendship, anyways.
“If I owe him an apology that means he also owes me an apology. It was a game at the end of the day. And then coming out of the show and seeing that he had strategy, my gut feeling kind of rises. What happened is that Yemi played the game first.
“Obviously, I saw how he would react when I interacted with Thabang, and I was like, oh! Okay, now he even understands what I was going through when he was doing his thing. But then, when he started like changing his ways, I didn’t know how to stop.” explained.
Celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani’s Father’s Day post to the fathers of her children has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

The post consisted of three slides, each featuring a photo of one of her children with their respective father.

Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has shared the story of how she was allegedly impregnated by Ghanaian singer, Sarkodie, in 2010.
The 37-year-old actress made this shocking revelation in her recently published book titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
She claimed that Sarkodie impregnated her and refused to take responsibility for their unborn child, which forced her to terminate the pregnancy.
According to Yvonne, the 37-year-old musician refused to accept the pregnancy because there was another woman in his life at the time.
Read an excerpt from the book below,
“I had gone for a pregnancy test to confirm what becomes the most obvious conclusion for a sexually active young woman who misses her monthly flow. I was in the company of Karen. And when the test result was ready, I wasn’t strong enough to open it. She did and declared the verdict.
“Charlie, it dey there!” she exclaimed.
“On an ordinary day, I would have laughed out loud and that would trigger a string of jolly conversations and jokes. But this was no laughing matter. It was a grim piece of information that was capable of turning my world upside down. I wasn’t the only one responsible for the situation, so I called the man whose potent seed had germinated in me. His name is Michael Owusu Addo, a renowned Ghanaian musician who is better known as Sarkodie.
“Sarkodie was a budding musician with the potential to become one of the biggest artists in Ghana and beyond. At the time, however, the future looked uncertain, and his way through the maze of life still appeared too foggy to predict. Success was not guaranteed. He was still living with his mother and was not ready to carry a burden while he was being carried by his mother.
“I wouldn’t call what had developed between us a serious relationship. I gravitated toward people in the music industry. For the longest time in my life, music was my getaway from all the unpleasant things life threw at me. So, I liked his talent. We started talking and got close. Closer.
In the eight chapter of the memoir released on Sunday, June 18, the mother of one said she tried to terminate the pregnancy by ingesting some concoctions from her colleague but to her disappointment, the substance was ineffective as a test revealed she was still pregnant.
Yvonne said she choose to abort the pregnancy because she grew up without a father figure in her life and doesn’t want her child to have the same experience.
“The first thing that hit me when he said no to keeping the pregnancy was my own life. I had grown up without a father in my life. I had often been reminded of how I had been borne by mistake.
“I was still wondering if the man whose name I bore was my father. How was I going to bring another human being into this world to live like me, someone whose father would reject him or her as Mr. Nelson had rejected me? If there was a way to spare someone else the trauma I was contending with, why would I reject that option, especially when I was not,” Yvonne Nelson said in her book.
She, however, stated that she regrets terminating the pregnancy.
“It is one of the most regrettable mistakes in my life. If the clock of life could be rewound to my younger self, I would keep it.”
Popular Nollywood actress, Didi Ekanem has revealed why she would marry a man like her colleague, Sylvester Madu, in a heartbeat.
Didi made this statement while reacting to a recent video of Sylvester defending his hustle after he was spotted selling second-hand clothes, better known as ‘Okrika’, in Enugu.
It will be recalled that a video of the actor showcasing his wares at a market in Enugu surfaced on the internet over the weekend. Watch here
This sparked mixed reactions online, with many expressing disbelief that the renowned actor was now selling clothes in a market.
Addressing his detractors, Sylvester disclosed that he brought in some goods from overseas and personally chose to sell them because of his light schedule.
He said he has people who usually handle the sales for him, but he decided to come out himself because he had free time.
Sylvester also chided people berating him for selling clothes, stating that Nigerians would rather celebrate people who make money illegally than those with legit work.
Reacting to his statement, actress Didi Ekanem praised the actor for engaging in a legal business. She added that she would marry a man like him without any hesitation and would willingly join him in
running his business.
According to Didi, she would choose a man like him because she would feel secure and at ease knowing her spouse is not involved in fraud or other illicit activities.
“I have so much respect for you sir.. This is the type of man I can literally marry in a heartbeat and join him to knowing that I will sleep well at night,” she wrote.
Popular Nigerian on-air personality Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, better known as Do2dtun, has cried out about his inability to have access to his children.
Recall that in November 2021, Do2dtun’s wife, Omotayo, filed for divorce, citing forced abortion, domestic violence, and emotional abuse.
According to the petition filed before Justice A. I. Akobi of Court 23 of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Suit Number: GWD/PET/25/2021, the on-air personality allegedly compelled his wife to terminate her third pregnancy as a married woman.
The court granted the couple, who married in 2013 and have two children, joint custody of the children, a decision which Omotayo did not oppose pending the final determination of the suit in court. Read here.
However, in a touching Father’s Day post on his Instagram page, Do2dtun revealed that he hasn’t seen his children in ten months as he has been denied access to them, despite the court granting them joint custody.
“Today marks a whole year since they sent me that video, and it has been 10 months since I last saw you. I miss you so much. No amount of lies, games, deceit, or slow legal processes can break me. Fife and Fiore, Daddy just wants his time with you, as he deserves it, but they deny it; they disobey the law because they are scared, cowards, and immature.
“No one should use kids as bait or weapons in a fight. Once again, they picked the wrong one this time. Every effort has been made to prevent me from exercising my rights as a father, but I won’t give in or break. I will keep fighting the right way, even though some believe they have the monopoly on madness and breaking the law. I simply don’t want to play that game just because of these wonderful kids. I am law-abiding, but I am not a fool.
“If you are a father out there, for the sake of posterity and goodwill, fight for your place and your right to be in their lives. Every child needs their father just as much as they need their mother. No one should use children as a means of power or to substitute their emotions.”

“My love, I loved you more than I loved death, I spent years and years dreaming of the day it would wrap me in its arms until I met you. People talk all the time about loving someone enough to die for them, for me it was the complete opposite, dying was easy, living on the other hand was something I dreaded. Before I met you, I would spend long hours staring at the ceiling dreading my existence and then one hot afternoon in front of rhapsodies, I met you, you had captured the sun in your eyes, I wonder if you knew just how luminous you were, you were glorious, so much so that I was scared of you, you were something good, I wasn’t used to good things. That night, when you first hugged me like I could break, it was so soft I felt like you were absorbing me and maybe truly you were, maybe it was you who took away all of those heavy feelings and gave me light because I went home that day and looked up at my ceiling, the sun was there.
I loved you so much that I wanted to live for you, I sucked at it but you made me want to try, I lived simply for the moment when I would wake up from sleep, roll over to the right and you’d be there with the brightest smile, it was so bright you know, even when you left it lingered or maybe it was because I memorized the details, I too wanted to capture the sun in my eyes. You know the day you died, I went to Eko Atlantic, it wasn’t as beautiful as it is now and I started running, it was 3pm, I ran so fast hoping that you would be at the other side waiting for me to fall into your arms just like when we first met, I ran as though I could hack the matrix and catch you before you left without a proper good bye, it was 6:30pm in Eko Atlantic when the sun slowly started to disappear, I stood still holding my breath, that would be the last time I would see you, I didn’t want to forget just how beautiful you were.
I still chase the sun sometimes you know, I tell myself that one day, I’ll catch it, I’ll catch you and every time the sun rises, I catch a glimpse of you, I still live just to see it every day. I know that somewhere beyond my imagination, the sun is still in your eyes, for now my baby, sleep, I will see you in another life time.”
Media personality, Daddy Freeze, has reacted to journalist Moji Danisa’s warning to popular clergyman Jerry Eze regarding his closeness with actress Tonto Dikeh.
The drama started when Tonto Dikeh expressed her gratitude on social media for the birthday gift she received from Pastor Jerry Eze a few days ago. According to Tonto, the clergyman had gifted her a significant amount of money for her 38th birthday.
Showing appreciation to Pastor Eze for the generous gift, the mother of one wrote in part:

“A CRY FOR HELP! – Part 1 Fellow Nigerians, my name is Taiwo Ajayi. I have been separated from the ex-husband for the past 4 years. I was married for 12 horrible years to Joseph Okpongete.
For those 12 years I suffered greatly under his roof, subjected to domestic violence in its most horrific forms. I faced physical, emotional, psychological, and financial abuse.
We are both Born Again Christians and Ordained Ministers at the House On The Rock Church, Lagos. I appeal to the Christian Body in Nigeria, to please call one of their Ministers to order. I don’t want to become another statistics of a Christian woman who died from domestic violence.
This case has been reported last year to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) where Joseph Okpongete was invited to and he confessed twice to having beaten me, and this was recorded. It was also reported to the Nigerian Police Force.
I was brutally raped on our honeymoon in Cairo, Egypt, as a virgin. I was beaten up when I was 5 months pregnant with our daughter, I was called fat, useless and ugly by this man I had married, even though he married me as a beautiful size 12. I was beaten up severally, beaten while holding a new baby boy, having my head bashed into the wall which landed me in the hospital. I have faced several hospital visits and admissions due to the abuse. I suffered terrible silent treatments, was humiliated severally publicly and privately, was cheated on by the husband with other women, and I would discover he was sleeping with the housemaids, who I would have to chase away from the house.
My successful career as an award winning Recruiter has been threatened and almost destroyed, even when I had worked within the Oil E & P industry in Nigeria and worked with multinationals within Corporate Canada in the finance industry. Because of the stress he was giving me, i lost my job with a multinational last year which was fetching me the equivalent of N55million, I was being paid in Canadian Dollars, and it was 100 percent remote. My hard earned resources and all that I have worked for, for the past 16 years was stripped away from me.
Due to the abuse I was suffering in the hands of Joseph Okpongete, I relocated to Canada with my children in 2016 to distance myself from this man, and to give my children and I peace. He would come to Canada and ask the landlord to evict us from the property that I rented with my own money, and we would be suddenly rendered homeless and have no choice than to return to his house in Nigeria. Due to the stress I was receiving on the home front, I would have burnouts on my jobs in Canada and have to resign, leaving me with little or no income. When the abuse became too much, I had to call the Canadian Police in Mississauga, ON who came to warn him at the house that if he continued this way, he would be arrested. This made him step back a bit.
I returned to Lagos 2 months ago because I prefer being at home in Lagos, the climate works better for me. I have received threats from him about what he will do to me. He has also refused to pay child support, take care of the kids nor pay their school fees. I have been running from this man for the past 4 years and my country people I am tired, hence why I am crying out today for someone to please help me ask this man to leave me alone. He has insisted in a forceful manner that I return to his house.
2 weeks ago his Auntie called me, commanding me to return to his house, to which I politely but firmly refused. She told me that if I divorce him that I will not make heaven, that I will go to hell. Thank God the sacrifice that Jesus paid on the cross is all I need to make heaven and not my marriage to this Shylock. He is owing me $250,000 CAD as initial relocation expenses to Canada, draining my resources, up to his plane ticket into Canada I had to pay for it. Who was the husband and who was the wife, please somebody tell me?
2 days ago, he called to speak to the children and I do not keep him from speaking to them nor from contacting them. He said all manner of things and gave all manner of threats, he has also been playing delayed tactics with the divorce process in court. Knowing I am from a comfortable background, this man manipulated his way into my life and manipulated me into marrying him, because of what he will eat. I was young and naive. Immediately I entered the marriage, I realized I had been deceived and it was very hard to come out.
He called 2 days ago to tell our 14 year old daughter that he is planning something against me, issuing threats, I do not know what he is planning, and sincerely I am not ready to find out. Last year he asked the police in Lagos to arrest me and lock me up for leaving him, only God delivered me. I had to run for my life back to Canada. Please fellow Nigerians, help me to ask Joseph Okpongete to please leave me alone. It is not by force to be married to him. It not by force for me to return to his house. I have moved on, please help me beg him to move on.
Two pictures earlier attached reflect my physical state after being psychologically abused for so long, and also landing in the hospital when Joseph refused to drop his passport to the Canadian High Commission in Ghana for us to collect our Canadian Permanent Resident Visa. I had paid $8000 USD for the application process, the visas had come through which was a thing of joy for me, but Joseph wanted us to loose the visas, just to hurt me. He waited till the last week before the deadline to submit his passport to the Embassy. All my pleas fell on deaf ears.
I landed in Reddington Hospital at 1:00am in the middle of the night when I could not breathe. I was about to loose the opportunity of a life time. I have a Doctor’s report to substantiate this event, detailing the psychosomatic stresses he had put me through. He eventually dropped his passport 3 days before the deadline given by the Canadian Embassy, after family members pleaded with him.
I fainted in my son’s school the following week due to the stress he was giving me, teachers and the school principal including my driver poured 5 bottles of water on my head to revive me and I was admitted for 3 days again at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja.
Egba mi Ejo, mo beyin ni o! Anyone who knows him should please ask Joseph Okpongete to LEAVE ME ALONE! Marriage to an abuser and to a Narcissist is not by force. My life is being threatened”.

Billionaire daughter, Temi Otedola, has seemingly responded after social media critic Daniel Regha came for her and her sister, DJ Cuppy.
Daniel, known for giving unsolicited advice and critiquing public figures, recently took to his Twitter handle to question Temi Otedola and Cuppy about the delay in their marriage plans.
He wondered why the sisters got engaged if they had no intention of getting married within six months.
He pointed out that Cuppy has been engaged since November 2022, and Temi Otedola got engaged to singer Eazi in April 2022, yet there are no visible indications of an upcoming wedding.
“Cuppy has been engaged since November 2022, while her sister Temi got engaged in April 2022, but there’s no proof that Mr Eazi has tied the knot. Why rush into an engagement if there was no plan to get married within 3 to 6 months? It’s not like money is a problem. No offense,” he tweeted.
Moments after the tweet, Temi, via her Twitter handle, seemingly shut him down, emphasizing the importance of minding one’s own business.
“Never forget rule number one: mind your own business,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Mr. Eazi has stated that he could be married to Temi already and people would not know about it.
According to him, he keeps his family off social media since the celebrity lifestyle is toxic and he does not want people to know too much about his personal life.
In his words;
“I was engaged for two weeks before the world knew I was engaged, so it’s like I could be married right now and you wouldn’t know and maybe I’m just not wearing my ring. It’s just how you feel, is not everything that should be outside. I think I posted an old picture of my parents out once for their 30. you know this celebrity life is not healthy and it’s not everything that should be out there.”
A while back, Ini said that she wants her child to live a private life.

In response, the mother of one hinted that she won’t be unveiling her child’s face anytime soon because she wants to keep everything about her private for now.
“I really hope to keep my baby off social media, and this was why I’ve been reluctant to put her out there. I would love to keep everything about her private for now. There are a lot of celebrities whose children are not growing up on social media pages and living normal lives. That is how I want it to be for my daughter… it is a choice to put her out there or not and I choose to keep her private.” She said.
