Ace Nigerian music executive, Don Jazzy, has reacted to Nigerian superstar singer, Davido’s revelation that he is his mentor.

During an exclusive interview with YouTuber Tayo Aina, Davido shared how, when he began his career as a young boy, Don Jazzy was his mentor.

Describing their first encounter, Davido noted that it was an extraordinary experience, comparing it to encountering Jesus.

According to him, it took courage to stand in his presence during their initial meeting.

“Don Jazzy was my mentor. I remember the first time I saw him, it felt like I was looking at Jesus. It was truly amazing.” Davido said.

Don Jazzy, in response to the interview, expressed his admiration for Davido’s accomplishments. He commended Davido’s unwavering work ethic, which continues to inspire him despite the singer’s immense success and wealth.

A 22-year-old female truck driver, Ademola Omolade has claimed that she is unable to operate an automobile despite comfortably driving a 22-tire vehicle.

The truck driver who is a resident of Ogbomosho, Oyo State, and originally from Osun State has subsequently gained notoriety online for her driving abilities.

Omolade recently spoke with THE PUNCH about her experiences, difficulties, and other factors related to being a young woman who drives a truck.

The young woman, who started driving at the age of 19, described how her parents encouraged her to pursue a trade after she finished her secondary schooling.

They advised her to pursue a career in hairdressing or tailoring, but she had no interest in either. She was visiting with her aunt at the time in Lagos State, where her aunt’s husband was a truck driver.

When her uncle was given responsibility for two trucks, he asked if she would be able to help him handle them, and she said yes. She became fascinated with driving trucks while handling the trucks for her uncle; this marked the start of her journey to become a truck driver.

Speaking on how she is inexperienced at driving a four-wheeler vehicle, she said;

“People find it funny that I can drive an articulated vehicle which has 22 tyres but I can not drive a car which has four tyres.”

Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has revealed that he didn’t work out to gain his tight abs.

This was disclosed by the singer in an interview with Spotify, who also noted that he developed his physique via hardship and working odd jobs.

He described how, when he and his family were living in Benin City, Edo state, he used to carry buckets of water.

Rema claims that he continued to hustle and grow more during his time in Ghana.

He said;

“I don’t go to the gym. I always had my body patterns, way back since Benin, fetching water, carrying buckets of water, you know, wheelbarrows.

When I was in Ghana when I was hustling, doing hard labour. I was already getting ripped out from whatever I was doing. You know, days that I starved, my packs just came out, like.”

A young Nigerian man has reportedly broken up with his ‘serious’ girlfriend after her face was badly damaged by an organic cream.

The young lady in question took to TikTok to lament bitterly after being dumped by the love of her life because he was embarrassed by her look.

She shared screenshots of their WhatsApp conversation where he called it quits because he couldn’t cope with her damaged face.

Popular media personality and actor, Yhemo Lee, has reportedly been dumped by his much-publicized girlfriend, Tayo, over alleged infidelity.

Though there are conflicting reports about the cause of their breakup, it is alleged that Tayo ended the relationship after discovering private videos of her close friend on Yhemo Lee’s phone.

She became hurt and offended because Yhemolee failed to inform her about her friend’s advances at him and refused to establish clear boundaries, and instead continued to request more pictures.

When she found out about his infidelity, he reportedly refused to apologize for his wrongdoings, leading to her decision to end the relationship.

However, another report claim that Yhemolee was the one who initiated the breakup after catching his girlfriend cheating with an older man at a hotel.

“Well known Naija celebrity that’s well known as an outsider cheated on his recent ex couple of times but he broke immediately after he caught her doing the same red-handed,” a Twitter user wrote.

Several Nigerian celebrities have reacted to the latest video of popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin.

The controversial couple made headlines on Sunday when Yul shared a video of him and his second wife, Judy Austin, “having an argument” in their home.

In the video that Yul posted on his Facebook page, the couple can be heard arguing about a friend who borrowed Yul’s car, got into an accident while driving it, and failed to inform the actor about it.

Yul shared the video with the caption, “I don’t understand why I cannot talk to Judy, and she’ll listen to me. I’m getting tired of this whole thing. I found this video she made, and I had to post it.” (Read here)

The video sparked a barrage of reactions from social media users, including fellow celebrities like Nkechi Blessing, talent manager Paul O, Uche Jombo, and Adaora Ukoh.

Uche Jombo, in her response, wrote, “There’s a reason it’s on Facebook. Making money from the content.”

Talent manager and actress Iyabo Ojo’s partner, Paul O, expressed his disappointment, writing,

Nigerian singer Davido’s personal logistics manager, Israel Afeare, popularly known as Isreal DMW, has revealed that he met his wife, Sheila Courage, as a virgin.

Isreal made this disclosure via his Instagram stories on Sunday while responding to critics who were trolling him over his wife’s age.

It was earlier reported that Isreal, a close aide to Davido, sparked reactions online after stating that his wife, Sheila, was 22 years old as he celebrated her birthday yesterday, June 4.

Following his revelation, critics trolled him for lying about his wife’s age, claiming that she looked older than 22.

Responding to their criticism, Isreal explained on his Instagram story that he met her as a virgin and married her at the age of 21.

Hailing his wife, he wrote,

“My dearest wife, meeting you as a full virgin at 21 makes me the happiest man forever. It is never common in Benin and Nigeria, never at all. Thanks so much.”

A viral video showing a groom glued to his phone while walking down the aisle with his bride has caused a massive stir online.

The trending clip that found its way to the internet shows the groom seemingly detached from his surroundings, engrossed in his phone, while his bride walks down the aisle beside him shortly after they exchanged their vows.

As they walked down the aisle, the wife, with a broad smile, expressed gratitude to those who had come from far and wide to grace the occasion. However, her husband remained focused on his mobile phone throughout.

The video, originally shared on TikTok, quickly gained traction and generated a wave of reactions from social media users.

While some defend the groom’s actions, suggesting that he may have been attending to an important business matter, others argue that his behavior was disrespectful to his wife and their special day.

However, an Instagram user who claimed to have been at the wedding explained that the viral video was taking after the event.

“I was actually at the wedding and this was not even their first time walking down the aisle. This was them leaving for the second time after being asked to return to take photos with the family. That is why the church is empty. Abeg stop trying to ruin the narrative of people’s joyful day and create fake problems. Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has left his followers confused after sharing a video of him and his second wife, Judy Austin “having an argument” in their home.

In the video shared on his Facebook page, the couple could be heard arguing over a friend who borrowed Yul’s car, had an accident while driving it and did not inform the actor about it.

The 8-minute long video shows just Judy’s face alone but Yul can be heard in the background airing his displeasure about the situation.

While their argument seemed heated, some netizens however believe the couple were acting.

Sharing the video on his official Facebook page, Yul wrote,

A Nigerian medical doctor has on social media, revealed how a woman slapped her daughter-in-law in the hospital ward only a day after she delivered a baby via C-section.

The doctor who narrated this on Twitter, shared that they suspect the mother-in-law is not mentally stable. She wrote in part,

“I heard the shouting and came in to meet the patient carrying her baby and shoving the woman. Caught her before she fell and called the security. Nurses said they were arguing in a language they couldn’t understand and then she slapped her,” she tweeted.

In other news, a Kenyan woman, identified as Josephine Achary Akongo, recently recounted how her ex-husband’s parents sent her packing for not bearing children.

Josephine, who hails from Ahero Kisumu County, Nyando sub-county, narrated her ordeal in an interview with Standard Media.

According to her, she was kicked out of the house due to her inability to conceive for her husband, and he proceeded to marry a second wife in 2014. Unfortunately, his second wife has also been unable to have children since they got married nine years ago.

Josephine further revealed that she had a child while still in school and before marrying her ex-husband.

“I didn’t find it easy after realizing that I was pregnant. It was funny because some visitors came to our place to bring dowry for my cousin, and as girls, we were invited to entertain them. That’s how I got involved with a guy for just one night, and that’s how I conceived. Unfortunately, the guy disappeared afterward,” she said.

“I learned in day school, but I spent most of my time outside the school due to frequent illness. Eventually, my mother discovered what was happening and she was constantly reminding me of how I had wasted her hard-earned money.

“In school, students disapproved of me and often laughed at me. During that time, getting pregnant was considered taboo. However, despite being in Form Four, I persevered and managed to sit my national exams, though I didn’t perform as well as expected. It was far from an easy experience,”

“I met my first husband in our estate in Kisumu, and we began courting. However, our courtship didn’t last for even a year before we started cohabiting. I went to visit him at his workplace in Eldoret, at Keiyo South Constituency, and I never returned home because he told me we were now living as husband and wife. I informed my family, and he informed his, and we started our life together as a couple,”
